Chapter-10: Aftermath

The aftermath of the battle had barely settled when Natsu and the others, still buzzing from their victory, made their way toward the heart of the kingdom. The destruction from their battle stretched across the land, and with the Council's failure to intervene when it mattered, the stakes had only grown higher. The guild had already made its move.

Mira, as always, was one step ahead. After capturing the footage of Natsu's battle and the devastation that followed, she quickly organized the evidence and had it sent to the most powerful authority in Fiore: King Tome E. Fiore.

The Council's inaction was a glaring issue, and with the footage in their possession, there was no way the ruling bodies could sweep the matter under the rug. Mira had arranged for several guilds, including Fairy Tail, to record and send their own evidence, each clip showing just how little the Council had done in response to the threat Bayle and his army posed. There were countless images of the Council sitting idly in their chambers, far removed from the frontline.

At the Council Headquarters in Era, the situation was tense. Representatives from multiple guilds had gathered, many with expressions of distrust and frustration as they faced off with the high-ranking members of the Council.

One particularly vocal guildmaster slammed a fist onto the table. "Where was the Council when the hell gates opened? Where was your beloved Etherion Cannon, when the battle began? You've been hiding in Era this entire time!" His voice was a mixture of anger and disbelief.

A few murmurs echoed through the room, the tension palpable. The Council members, uncomfortably aware of the evidence stacked against them, could only avoid eye contact.

"You've failed the people of Fiore," another guildmaster, a woman with fiery red hair, chimed in. "If it wasn't for Fairy Tail and their allies, Bayle's forces would've torn this land apart. We have all the proof we need, and now it's time for you to answer for your negligence."

Back in the heart of the kingdom, as the Guilds awaited their reckoning, Mira took charge. She wasn't one to let opportunities slip away, especially when it involved the safety of the realm. With swift precision, she arranged for the footage to be sent directly to King Tome E. Fiore. It wasn't just a small packet of evidence—this was a detailed, indisputable dossier that included every recorded moment from the battle, the Council's failure to act, and their incompetence in the face of disaster.

The King's response came swiftly. The Royal Guards arrived at the guild hall, delivering an official message.

"To the guilds of Fiore,
Your bravery has not gone unnoticed. I have reviewed the footage, and I now understand the extent of the Council's failure. Immediate action will be taken. A formal inquiry will be held, and those responsible for this incompetence will be held accountable. I will personally ensure that no more of Fiore's safety is left in their hands.
The Kingdom of Fiore will stand with its people.

King Tome E. Fiore"

The news was met with a mixture of relief and anticipation. The guilds had won, not just the battle against Bayle but in holding the Council accountable for their neglect.

With Fairy Tail

The guild was in full celebration, the air thick with the euphoria of victory. The battle against the demons had been won, and the Magic Council had been put in its place.

Now, gathered on the second floor of the guild hall, Natsu stood among the mages who had fought in the Invasion. The room buzzed with conversation, laughter, and the sound of clinking mugs.

Laxus shot Gildarts a smug look. "So, who smacked you around this time, Gildarts?"

"Oh, shut up, brat," Gildarts grumbled, his voice laced with frustration. "I won this time. Some Demon Beast, I think it was, but it didn't speak to me. What about you guys? What did you brats do?"

"Kicked ass," Gray replied, his arms crossed, a confident grin on his face.

Natsu chuckled, but his attention was on Erza, who stood close beside him. Her arms were folded beneath her chest, and she wore a mock pout, clearly amused by Natsu's antics.

"I think it's time you told your part of the story, Natsu dear," Erza said, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Natsu flashed a wide grin. "I did promise you, but can you stop looking at me like that? This hits harder than when you glare and threaten to stab me."

Erza smirked. "I know, that's exactly why I use it."

Natsu shook his head, chuckling under his breath. "Alright, here goes. So, I found Bayle's portal and entered it. I killed all the demons there, and then I set off to find the way to his city. First, I found two mini Hell Gates, each guarded by demons stronger than any I've seen, aside from Bayle himself. One was a Fire Demon—Belial—and the other was a Light Demon—Beowulf. I took them down and absorbed their power. After that, I made my way to the main Hell Gate. That's where Bayle was waiting for me."

He paused for a moment, his grin fading as the memory of the fight flashed before his eyes.

"I lost that fight... badly," Natsu continued. "In the end, Bayle stabbed me with the Yamato and chained me in front of the Gate. The chains were supposedly as heavy as a dwarf star each. But then... something happened."

Natsu's expression turned serious as he recounted the next part of his journey.

"The Goddess I absorbed, Amaris, spoke to me. She told me her name. Bayle had used a ritual to steal her soul, using her raw power to fuel the Hell Gates and summon his army. Amaris said that if I could break out of the chains, I would need to absorb her to break the control Bayle had over her."

He paused, taking a breath. "After some... inner motivation, I managed to break free. I absorbed Amaris, and she's with me now. She's a Goddess of the Night and Magic. Unlike the other demons, her soul wasn't shattered or completely consumed by my power—it stayed intact in my mind, and now we're linked. The Yamato didn't kill me like I thought it would. Instead, it unlocked more of my potential and tried to fuse my new demon powers with my Fire Dragon Monarch Magic. What I got after awakening, and my demon power... it was like the magic and demon abilities were fighting to coexist."

Natsu looked at his friends, his eyes alight with both wonder and a trace of uncertainty.

"Amaris finished the process, and what I got was Seraphic Dragon Monarch Slayer Magic. It's based mainly on Fire and Light, but she also gave me access to Night God Slayer Magic."

The room fell silent for a moment, the weight of Natsu's words sinking in.

"Wow," Lucy said, her eyes wide with amazement. "And this goddess, does she speak to you?"

"Yes, a lot," Natsu replied with a grin. "Hold that thought, though. I think I can summon her here." His eyes glowed silver, and a surge of purple energy flowed from his claws, swirling in the center of the group.

From the small burst of energy, Amaris materialized.

Goddess of the Night

Goddess of Magic

Goddess of Dreams

Amaris

Amaris was striking, her knee-length hair shifting in a mesmerizing gradient of colors, like the magic of the night sky. The roots of her hair were a deep midnight blue, gradually fading into black and silver at the tips, as if reflecting the cosmos.

For a moment, her eyes were a rich amethyst, before they transformed into something even more incredible—a galaxy filled with swirling stars. Her deep violet irises gleamed with flecks of silver and blue that shimmered as they caught the light.

She was breathtaking, with a voluptuous and flawless physique, an hourglass figure that spoke of both elegance and strength. Her skin glowed subtly, giving her an almost ethereal presence. The confidence and allure she radiated were palpable, a reminder of her divine nature.

She was dressed in a long, dark purple gown, with delicate cloth over her shoulders. The interior of the dress shimmered like a night sky, complete with tiny flecks of light that resembled distant stars.

Amaris scanned the room, her gaze briefly settling on each of the stunned mages before her eyes locked with Natsu's. A soft smile tugged at her lips. "Hello. It's good to talk face-to-face again," she said warmly to Natsu. Then her gaze shifted to Erza. "Erza, I've seen a lot of you in Natsu's memories. Nice to meet you, sugar."

"Oh, she's nice," Juvia commented, her voice soft, almost in awe.

"And HOT—goddamn, literally goddamn," Gajeel whispered, unable to tear his eyes away from the goddess.

Amaris giggled, having heard his comment. Her eyes then returned to Erza and Natsu. Erza, however, continued to study her closely, her expression a mixture of curiosity and something more—jealousy and possessiveness flickered in her gaze.

Amaris smiled gently and addressed Erza with a calm, almost soothing tone. "I am aware that... Natsu and my 'deal' might not be to your liking," she began. "But I do not intend to cause you or Natsu any pain, sugar. I promise you, my connection with Natsu can extend to you, too, if you wish it."

Erza's gaze softened, though a hint of doubt still lingered in her eyes. "We'll see about that," she murmured, though the tension in her posture eased slightly. "What exactly is this deal you have?"

Amaris's smile remained calm, her gaze steady. "As Natsu has told you, Bayle had my soul bound to his. The deal we have is of a similar nature, but it was made of my own volition. Our connection… is not dissimilar to yours and Natsu's bond through the Dragon Mark, though not as… intimate."

Erza blushed, clearly flustered. "Y-you know about that? Does that mean you can see Natsu's memories?"

Amaris giggled, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Yes, I can."

Erza hesitated, her curiosity overcoming her embarrassment. "So, did you see us—?"

"Some parts," Amaris interjected, a teasing smile on her lips. "We were in the middle of fighting Bayle, so I thought it best not to snoop around too much."

She turned her attention to the rest of the guild, her gaze light but direct. "Could you make me some room, sugar? I know I'm stunning, but I don't like sitting in the middle of a room while everyone stares at me."

At her words, Gildarts, Makarov, Laxus, and Gajeel quickly looked away, embarrassed at being caught staring.

Erza, still a little flushed but more composed, stepped aside. Amaris gracefully took a seat, settling herself comfortably. She looked around at the gathered mages, her smile never faltering.

"Well, is there anything you wish to ask me?" she asked, her voice warm and inviting, though there was an underlying power in her tone.

The room remained quiet for a moment as everyone processed the new revelations about Natsu's bond with Amaris. It was clear that Amaris wasn't just some ethereal being tied to Natsu's power; there was something deeper, something more personal between them.

Erza broke the silence, her voice steady, though a hint of curiosity remained. "So, you're linked to Natsu's power… but what does that mean for him? Is he in danger?"

Amaris's smile softened, and she looked at Natsu before responding. "I'm not here to cause him harm, sugar. On the contrary, I'm here to guide him. Our bond was born out of necessity, but it's also a source of strength. I'm part of him now, just as much as his power, his soul, and his will. As for danger… Natsu's power is vast, but he will face challenges, both from within and from outside forces."

Her eyes flickered to the others in the room. "But we all know the road to greatness is never easy, don't we?"

Laxus crossed his arms over his chest. "Yeah, we know a thing or two about challenges. We don't need any more trouble on top of the demons we just fought."

Amaris smiled, her galaxy-like eyes twinkling with a mix of amusement and understanding. "Oh, I wouldn't dream of adding more trouble. But the truth is, power attracts all sorts of attention—some of it good, some of it not so much. Natsu's strength will be tested, and there will be those who want to take it for themselves. The world is never short of ambition."

"We know that much," Makarov added, his voice steady. "So, we've established that you don't control Natsu, but what about how this affects his body—and his core itself? He already went through a transformation by becoming a Cambion Demon. What now?"

"I was going to ask that eventually," Natsu said, raising an eyebrow.

Amaris's smile remained as she addressed Makarov's question, her voice calm and deliberate. "Well, now that my soul is intertwined with Natsu's, the changes to his body won't be as drastic. His Demon Side, being ancient, has already carried the energy that would evolve into Divine Power. Your Demon Side won't go through massive changes, Natsu. It's already a relic of sorts, predating the division between divine and demonic forces. You'll still gain Divinity eventually, but it won't be a far cry from your current power. The essence of your demon blood and divine energy are not worlds apart, so the transition won't be as jarring."

Natsu nodded, absorbing her words. "So, no big changes? I'm still the same, just stronger?"

"Precisely," Amaris replied, her tone soft but reassuring. "Your immortality won't change either. You're already immortal, and that aspect of you will become even more potent. There's no end to the power of your soul now. As for your core, it will stabilize in this new state, but you'll be even more resilient to things like physical harm or magical deterioration."

Natsu smiled, a little relieved, but his curiosity still piqued. "Okay, so what else?"

Amaris's eyes twinkled again, her voice taking on a more playful tone. "Ah, well, that's where things get interesting. Because of our bond, you'll gain new abilities tied to my authorities. For example, at night, your senses will become far sharper, almost like you can see into the very fabric of reality. Your immortality will be more potent, and your powers may get an extra boost during the night as well. You'll be able to draw from the night itself."

Erza raised an eyebrow. "Nighttime boosts? That sounds useful."

"Oh, it is," Amaris said with a smile. "And there's more. My authority over dreams will make you immune to mental-based attacks or magic. Any attempt to manipulate your mind will be useless against you. You'll also be able to enter the 'Dreaming'—the realm of dreams, but we'll talk about that later. It's something I'll have to train you on, because Morpheus is quite a stickler when it comes to the rules. He doesn't like when people misuse the Dreaming."

Gray looked skeptical. "That sounds like a bit much to handle. Is it dangerous?"

Amaris shrugged lightly. "It can be, if you're reckless. But that's why I'll be here to guide you. You can also learn from me in a way that will benefit you tremendously—my authority over Magic will give you an instinctive understanding of any magic you encounter. You'll be able to copy and master it, so long as it's not too complex. I'll handle teaching you the magic I've created and helping you refine your own abilities. I'll be the one guiding you through the intricacies of your new magic. The other two authorities, though, those will passively enhance you."

"So, you're basically going to teach me how to use this new power?" Natsu asked, eyes glowing with anticipation.

"Exactly," Amaris confirmed. "But remember, it won't all be smooth sailing. There will be challenges ahead, and you'll need to adapt quickly. But I'm confident in your ability. After all, I chose you for a reason."

Natsu's grin grew wider. "I'll make sure I don't disappoint you, Amaris."

Amaris's smile softened. "I know you won't, sugar. Just remember, this journey is about more than just power. You are now entering into a whole different world."

Natsu nodded, his expression serious. "Yeah, the world of Higher Beings... the True Reality."

Amaris's gaze sharpened. "Exactly. And that's not something you can turn back from. It changes everything. The stakes, the enemies, even the choices you'll have to make. But you'll be ready."

"So now, let's talk about the Demon Realm, the next threats, and if you don't mind sharing your opinion on the others' new powers?" Natsu asked, eager to know what she thought of his friends' progress.

Amaris nodded, her eyes scanning each of them. "Mira, she's now a Quarter Demon. Your bloodline is evolving. Whether you stop at Half Demon or Full Demon is up to you. Either choice won't affect your psyche, but the Half Demon choice is usually the better option if you're aware of the Hybrid effect. It's a delicate balance, and there's a greater risk with going Full Demon."

Natsu glanced at Mira, who was listening intently. Her expression was thoughtful, considering Amaris's words.

Amaris continued, "Laxus and Gajeel are still Quarter Dragons, their powers remain consistent. Erza, though… she's a Half Dragon. I see you've already developed your immortality, and you awakened your Dovahkiin form, correct?"

"That form I used against Bayle?" Erza asked, slightly puzzled but understanding.

"Yes," Amaris replied with a knowing smile. "That form is what Dragons call their 'humanoid form.' It's an adaptation, a way to balance their dragon essence with their physical form. You've tapped into it, and now, the possibilities are endless for you."

Erza nodded, absorbing the weight of Amaris's words.

Amaris turned her attention to Lucy, her voice gentle but sure. "Lucy, you're ready to start the 'Celestial Ascendance' Process if you wish. It's similar to your Star Dress, but much more powerful. Your body would begin to resemble a Celestial Spirit, but you'd retain your human side and ability to remain in the mortal world. Immortality, however, is a big 'if.' Not many mages have attempted the 'Celestial Ascendance' process, and only a few became Immortal. Most mages in that path live longer lives, up to 230 years, and remain in their prime until around 70 or 80, before they start aging. It's a risk, but it's also a path that could unlock your full potential."

Lucy looked pensive, weighing the options. The idea of immortality was tempting, but the uncertainty surrounding it gave her pause.

Amaris then shifted her focus to Juvia, her voice warm yet filled with conviction. "Juvia, your connection to water magic runs deep. Your potential is vast, but to truly unlock it, you need to explore a more powerful brand of Water Magic. Perhaps something akin to Gray's new magic."

Juvia's eyes lit up with excitement, eager to delve deeper into her magic.

"And Gray," Amaris continued, turning her gaze to him, "your magic is ancient. Blitzgor was a powerful Demon from the First Great Demon War. Your body is evolving rapidly, much like Mira's. You'll have the choice between Half Demon and Full Demon, but there's a strong chance you'll gain immortality. I see Blitzgor set up your Ice Devil Slayer Magic in a way that'll allow you to reach his prime level much faster. It seems he wanted you to surpass him."

Gray's expression was one of quiet awe, his hand instinctively resting on his Ice Devil Slayer Magic. "Surpass him…? I never thought about it that way."

Amaris nodded, her tone firm. "He believed in your potential, Gray. And now, you have the chance to honor that faith by pushing yourself even further. But remember, with great power comes great responsibility. You all are changing, evolving into something far beyond what you were before. But it's not just about power. It's about what you do with it."

She stood, her dress flowing like a night sky with shifting stars. "And now, the real journey begins."

When Bayle was Defeated with *

The man chuckled to himself, reclining against the tree, his eyes half-lidded as though watching the aftermath of a great battle. His form, though appearing young and relaxed, radiated an ancient presence that hinted at far more than just the youthful exterior suggested. His mind, however, was elsewhere—traversing realms beyond the physical world, observing the events as they unfolded in real time.

"Well, well…" he mused to himself with a grin, "What a show. I look away for one month, and you go and awaken?" His voice carried a playful undertone, tinged with curiosity and amusement. He seemed entertained, as though Natsu's rise to a new form and the subsequent defeat of Bayle were nothing more than a captivating performance for him. "What a nice surprise…"

His gaze shifted towards a distant horizon, as though peering through time itself, and a small smirk crept onto his face. "And Bayle... the first Black Dragon meets his end after eons. Quite the fall for such a beast. I wonder how Acnologia will react?"

A chuckle escaped his lips, as if the thought of the Dragon King's inevitable reaction entertained him. The thought of Acnologia, the one who devoured Bayle's lost power and surpassed him hearing of Bayle's fall, stirred something in the man's mind—something dark, dangerous, and ever so intriguing.

He paused, stretching out his limbs lazily, still basking in the calm of the moment, but beneath the tranquility, an undercurrent of tension rippled. This defeat—Natsu's rise to power, the shifting tides of the world—was just the beginning. A greater game was afoot. And he was watching from the shadows, waiting for the perfect time to make his move.

For now, though, he was content to watch, amused by the chaos that would undoubtedly unfold. "The first Black Dragon falls... and the real game begins," he whispered, his voice filled with anticipation.

The man stood up, his expression thoughtful, yet darkly amused, as he continued to sense the shifting of powers around him. His eyes narrowed slightly as he turned his gaze toward the unseen horizon, as if watching something that was not truly visible to the naked eye. His words, spoken almost to himself, carried an eerie weight, as though he was speaking to an audience that only he could perceive.

"And demons from the Underworld now walk the mortal realms once more," he murmured softly, his voice low and reverberating with a chilling undertone. "The seal has cracked... I can feel it. The ethernano in the air, it's getting denser... Humans will now be forced to grow stronger to survive."

His hand rose and brushed through his hair absentmindedly as his thoughts continued to swirl. There was an excitement in his voice, but it was not of joy—rather, of something darker, more foreboding. His mind was already racing, thinking of the larger picture. The world had just begun to shift, and the balance between realms was fragile.

He turned on his heel, his footsteps slow but deliberate, echoing in the stillness. His eyes took on a distant, almost predatory gleam as he spoke again, the words flowing from his lips like a prophecy.

"Alvarez, Guiltina, and Ishgar… The Tenebrae Susuri… Dragons, Gods, Demons… Half Demons and Half Dragons… Hybrids… Ancient Warriors and Legends... The Demon Realm, the Worlds of the Higher Beings, and Humanity… who will fight who? Who will win, I wonder?"

The questions hung in the air like a challenge, an invitation to chaos. His thoughts, far beyond the mortal realm, were already turning toward the coming war, the inevitable clash of powers that would shape the future. It was clear he was not just an observer in this grand scheme—he was a part of it.

As he walked further into the unknown, the shadows seemed to grow darker around him, the air itself thick with an impending storm of conflict. "The pieces are moving... it's almost time," he whispered, his voice fading into the ether, a chilling reminder that everything—every battle, every choice—was part of a much greater game.

Different Location

The woman, standing in the shadows of the throne room, tried to hide the surprise in her expression but failed. Her eyes flickered with a mix of curiosity and unease as she watched Hades, the Dark Mage, carefully inspecting the lacrima in his hand.

Hades remained silent for a moment, his sharp, ancient eyes glinting with cold calculation. He was not one for idle chatter, and his next words came with a quiet, unsettling power.

"Makarov's children… they are more powerful than I thought," he said, his voice as deep and menacing as the dark abyss. His tone remained steady, but the slight edge of surprise in his words didn't escape the woman's notice.

The woman's brow furrowed. "Dragneel's power… we knew he had massive potential after he defeated Jellal and Zero… but this? This is—" she trailed off, struggling to find the words.

"Inhuman…" Hades interrupted, his gaze unwavering as he continued to analyze the lacrima. "The boy… is not a Dragon Slayer like we thought. The powers he has shown? Demon Magic, God Slayer Magic, and such advanced Space Magic…" His voice grew colder, more contemplative. "His energy signature… it's not that of an Etherious Demon. It's like that of a True Demon… of a potency I have never seen."

The woman stood still, her mind racing. "A True Demon?" she echoed, her voice a mixture of disbelief and awe. "Could it be… that he's somehow merged different powers? Or is this something else entirely?"

Hades chuckled darkly, the sound reverberating off the cold, stone walls of the throne room. His gaze shifted from the lacrima in his hand to the woman before him, his expression unreadable, but the air around him seemed to pulse with an ominous energy.

"Demons are known for their ability to devour souls," he began, his voice low and measured. "We've received reports that, during his rampages, Dragneel has shown powers from previous demons he's slain. It's likely that he can absorb demons and their power."

The woman frowned, trying to piece together the puzzle. "But the question of how he gained his demon power still remains."

Hades' lips curled into a knowing smile. "A Cambion. Most likely."

"A Cambion?" the woman echoed, her tone filled with curiosity and confusion.

"A Cambion," Hades repeated. "A half-human, half-demon hybrid. The difference between such hybrids and true demons is nearly indistinguishable, but these hybrids often exhibit growth in power that surpasses most, something they call the Hybrid Effect. Lord Zeref himself was once such a being."

The woman stood motionless, absorbing every word that Hades spoke. The mention of Cambion sent a shiver down her spine. She had read about such creatures in ancient texts, but hearing it so casually mentioned by Hades—one of the most powerful beings alive—gave the concept an unsettling weight.

"A Cambion?" she repeated, her voice laced with disbelief. "A half-human, half-demon hybrid… but how? Dragneel's origins are rooted in the Dragon Slayers—"

Hades raised a hand, silencing her. "Yes, Dragneel is the son of Igneel, a legendary dragon. That alone could explain the boy's status as a Cambion demon."

The woman's brow furrowed. "How so?"

"Igneel is ancient—older than humanity itself, some say. He fought in both Great Demon Wars, long before most dragons came into being. Legends tell of him being one of the first demons to transform into a dragon. It is possible that Dragneel's demonic powers are the result of Igneel's own ties to the Demon Realm."

A silence settled over them as the woman tried to digest the implications of Hades' words. The idea that Igneel—a creature as revered as he was feared—could have connections to the demon world was a staggering revelation. But the thought that his own son, Dragneel, might be a Cambion was even more dangerous.

Hades' cold eyes narrowed as he observed the woman's reaction, sensing the growing unease in her. "Yes, it would explain the boy's incredible powers," he mused. "The question now is how much of his father's demonic legacy is within him, and how far that power can grow. If he's truly a Cambion, he could be an even greater threat than we anticipated."

The woman swallowed hard, the weight of his words sinking in. "What do we do now?"

Hades' expression remained impassive as he answered. "Some changes… need to be made to our plans. Dragneel alone possesses more power than the Seven Kin combined. Blue Note and I will need to make a specific strategy to deal with him. As for the others… even the likes of the Celestial Mage and the Water Mage are in the S-Class league, both high above the likes of Jose. Yet, there are others—Mirajane the She-Devil, Laxus Dreyer, Gajeel Redfox, the Dragon Slayers, Gray Fullbuster, who the reports say is now an Ice Devil Slayer, and Erza Scarlet, who now possesses the power of a dragon. They are all significant obstacles."

He paced slowly around the room, his fingers tracing the edge of his throne as he spoke. "Mirajane, Laxus, and Gajeel possess power beyond 200 million MPL, while Erza and Gray have over 320 million MPL—shy of 350 million MPL."

The woman's eyes widened with disbelief. "Unbelievable... that's SS-Class tier and High Wizard Saint level. If they possess this much power, what about Dragneel?"

Hades fell silent for a moment, as though considering the full scale of the situation. "We've had three readings of his power. The first, about two weeks ago, was over 460 million MPL. The next, when the barrier around Bayle's city fell, was about 1.5 billion MPL. The last one, when he fought Bayle the second time, was 5.9 billion MPL—and still growing."

"Five point nine billion? But it's been only a month since he awakened his Demon Power! When he fought Jellal, he was barely over 300,000 MPL! Blue Note himself is over 1.5 billion," she stammered, trying to make sense of the staggering numbers.

Hades slowly raised his hand, his fingers curling slightly, as though grasping at the very air around them. "Yes, it's... alarming. The rate at which his power is growing is not natural. But that's the key—he's not simply gaining strength. He's adapting, evolving. Something inside him is pushing his abilities beyond any known limits."

Hades turned his gaze toward the woman, his expression unreadable, yet there was a chilling certainty in his voice as he spoke. "And this is where the true danger lies. If Dragneel continues to grow at this rate, within mere weeks, he could eclipse even the most powerful mages. Fortunately for us, records show that while Cambions grow stronger at an astonishing rate, this ability isn't infinitely active. Some theories suggest that Cambions are instinctively pushed to always remain relative to the strongest existing threats."

The woman raised an eyebrow, trying to process the implications of this. "And how strong would that make him?"

Hades' eyes narrowed, his tone grave as he continued, "This could either push him to the pinnacle of mages—or place him in the same league as Acnologia, Zeref, or the Dragon Gods of Guiltina."

The weight of his words hung heavy in the air. The woman shivered slightly, her mind racing as she considered the possibility. To face someone who could rival the greatest beings known in their world? The sheer scope of that threat was enough to send tremors through even the most confident of warriors.

"But if Cambions are pushed to match the strongest threats... does that mean Dragneel could grow to rival them? Acnologia and Zeref?" she asked, a sense of disbelief still lingering in her voice.

Hades remained calm, though his tone was sharper now, as if he had anticipated her question. "Yes. A Cambion's growth isn't tied to any single source of power. Instead, it's instinctual. They evolve based on the greatest threats they encounter. If Dragneel continues to fight, if he faces beings of unimaginable power like Acnologia, Zeref, or the Dragon Gods, his power will adapt and match theirs in an attempt to survive and dominate. Eventually, he could surpass them."

The woman's gaze shifted, her mind grappling with the enormity of what this meant. "But how do we stop that from happening?"

Hades' lips curled into a thin, cold smile, his eyes glinting with calculated malice. "We don't stop it. Not directly, anyway. Trying to contain or suppress a Cambion's growth is a losing battle. Instead, we must control his environment, guide his evolution. We need to force him into situations where his growth is limited by other, more unpredictable variables."

The woman frowned, confusion etching her features. "Limit his growth? How?"

Hades' gaze deepened as he leaned forward, his voice growing colder, more deliberate. "We must place Dragneel in situations where he's forced to confront powers greater than his own, but with just enough risk to temper his development. He must believe he's defeating a threat, but ensure that threat is controlled—never fully broken. Like a sword tempered in fire—his power must grow, but it must not reach its peak too quickly."

The woman nodded slowly, absorbing the strategy. "So… he needs time to grow to those levels? Bayle lost because he gave him that time?"

"Exactly," Hades confirmed, his eyes gleaming with calculated intent. "And fortunately for us, our plans will lead him to face someone who still eclipses his power."

The woman's brow furrowed slightly, realization dawning. "So… he might eliminate Dragneel for us?"

Hades' smile was thin and cold. "If everything goes according to plan, then yes. But more than that, they will ensure Dragneel's growth is controlled—pushing him, without letting him break free of our grasp."

The air in the room grew tense with anticipation, as Hades' words settled into the woman's mind, their implications clear. They weren't just manipulating Dragneel's growth—they were shaping it, ensuring that the boy who might one day surpass even the greatest beings would never reach that point unchecked.

Unfortunately, they were meddling with things they could never truly understand.

On a Different Continent

The crimson fire continued to burn, its heat rising from the scorched earth where the bodies of fallen demons lay, torn apart and scattered. The devastation was a spectacle of destruction, a battle fought and won. Standing amidst the carnage was a muscular figure, his presence commanding and fierce. His dark orange hair, blackened at the tips, flickered like flames in the wind, and his golden eyes glinted with amusement. The tattoos etched into his skin, flame-like and bold, seemed to burn with a power of their own, emphasizing the destruction he had just wrought.

Dressed in simple black pants and sandals, his red cloth tied around his waist was frayed from the intensity of battle, and his black muscle shirt was stained with the aftermath of the fight. Bandages wrapped his forearms. The man was cleaning his large, blood-soaked sword, his face twisted into a grin as he looked around at the devastation he had caused.

His laugh rang out, the sound echoing through the desolate landscape. "Fucking Halarius! Bayle came here, and he fucking died after eons of cursing Dad! HAHA! And now Natsu's back, huh? He's chatting up, but he's got a long way to go. His Demon Power is even more formidable than predicted, good. And now he's got a Goddess on his side? A goddess of Magic, no less..."

Ignia chuckled darkly to himself, his golden eyes gleaming with an unsettling amusement. "Oh little brother, things are about to get fun again. Hope you like chaos."

With his words, the flames of destruction around him seemed to intensify, as if mirroring his growing excitement.

Ignia's laughter faded into a dark, satisfied hum as the flames around him grew hotter and more erratic, mirroring the wild fire of his own thoughts. His golden eyes gleamed as he surveyed the wreckage, the burned corpses of demons that littered the ground, each one a testament to the overwhelming destruction he was capable of. The air itself seemed to crackle with energy, charged by his presence, as if even the very world was responding to his power.

He sheathed his massive sword with a flick of his wrist, the blade's edge glinting red as the firelight danced off its surface. His focus shifted to the horizon, his thoughts now turning to Natsu—the boy who was no longer a boy. The boy who now bore the power of a demon, a Cambion.

A wry grin tugged at the corners of his lips. "Natsu... You've certainly grown. But have you truly realized what you're up against?"

Ignia's gaze narrowed, contemplating the delicate balance of power that was shifting across the world. Natsu had become an unpredictable variable, and Ignia knew that nothing in the world could ever remain stable with him around—especially now that he was aligned with a goddess of magic. The chaos was coming, and it would ripple through the very foundations of existence itself.

But for now, Ignia was content to watch from the sidelines, letting the pieces fall into place.

"Chaos is coming... he thought again, eyes flashing with anticipation. And when it does, I'll be ready to play my part. Let's see how long they last before everything burns away."

With a final, satisfied glance at the destruction he'd wrought, Ignia turned and began walking into the horizon, the heat of his presence leaving a trail of scorched earth in his wake. The game had begun, and the flames of destruction were only just getting started.

Back with Natsu, Erza and Amaris

The trio of Devil, Dragoness, and Goddess stood on Natsu's land, gazing at the modest house in the distance. The atmosphere was filled with a sense of calm and camaraderie, but also with the excitement of the future ahead.

"All right, ladies," Natsu said, his hands resting on his hips with a grin. "So, what kind of house do you want?"

The conversation had shifted from the serious matters of their deal to something a bit more personal—living arrangements. After settling the finer details of Natsu and Amaris's agreement, the topic of where they would live had naturally come up. Amaris, though enjoying her time in Natsu's soul, expressed her preference for staying in the physical realm. Erza, ever thoughtful, had offered to let Amaris stay at Fairy Hills, but the goddess had another idea altogether.

"Well, I've seen in Natsu's memories that Erza wanted to move out eventually," Amaris said, a playful glint in her eyes. "So why don't we build a house for all three of us? It'll be perfect!"

"A palace?" suggested Amaris enthusiastically.

"A bit much," Natsu replied, raising an eyebrow. "Not yet, at least."

Erza, ever the pragmatic one, thought for a moment before chiming in. "Then... a mansion?"

"There's only three of us," Natsu pointed out. "And where would we get the money?"

Erza smiled, raising an eyebrow. "Love, you have at least 500 million jewels. I have about 6 million myself. We have more than enough. Plus, with the demon invasion behind us and the entire country knowing that you took down Bayle, you're now a hero. The Royal Family will likely send a reward, and the Magic Council is forced to give us one as well, for their failure in handling the invasion."

Amaris leaned in, her eyes twinkling with excitement. "I can create the house with magic. It'll be far more durable than if it were man-made. Scratch that—I'll make it a full magical house!" She practically bounced with enthusiasm. "Quick, Erza, give me some ideas! What do you wish for in a house?"

Erza blinked, surprised by the goddess's offer, and took a moment to envision the possibilities. Her mind raced with the idea of a truly extraordinary house that could be customized to fit their every need and desire.

"Well," she began thoughtfully, "if we're making it a magical house, the first floor should have the living room, the kitchen, and a guest room… Two should be enough for now, right? Instead of just a simple bathroom, how about… Hmm, how about a hot spring and a sauna? That would be nice. And a room with an automatic forge that can repair weapons and armor, if you can manage that. A training ground would be great, but that should probably be outside. Oh! And a gym, definitely!"

Amaris smiled, already brainstorming as she floated beside them. "I can add a Dressing Room with Clothing Creation Magic too. No more shopping for clothes—you can just create whatever you want instantly."

Erza's starry eyes lit up. "Really? Anything?"

Natsu, amused by the idea, chuckled. "Finally! No more shopping! You'll never get me dragged into a mall again."

Amaris nodded with a smile, clearly enjoying the enthusiasm. "You'll never need to leave the house for that again."

"I want a library myself," Amaris continued, her tone softening as she thought of her own space. "In my room, I'd like it to be a bit like a tower—maybe off to the side of the house? It'll rise slightly above the roof, like a personal sanctuary. What about your personal bedroom?"

Natsu gave a thoughtful nod. "We'll have a big one on the second floor, with a smaller bathroom to go with it."

"With a jacuzzi!" Erza added, as if it were a given.

"With a jacuzzi," Natsu confirmed with a grin, clearly amused by how easy it was to please her.

Amaris raised an eyebrow, her smile widening. "How about a room for Natsu's instruments? A place where he can play and practice? And a dance floor for you, Erza?"

Erza blinked in surprise, then her eyes lit up. "Yes! That would be perfect! On the second floor, right? It should fill the space nicely."

Amaris nodded in approval. "Exactly. We'll make sure everything is spacious, comfortable, and functional."

With each new addition, the idea of their new home was shaping into something extraordinary—everything they could ever need, with a touch of luxury and magic.

Amaris closed her eyes, her hands raised to the sky, and a soft glow began to emanate from her. Her magic swirled around her, ethereal and powerful, as she chanted softly under her breath. Slowly, the air around them shimmered, and the ground trembled as the magical house began to materialize before their very eyes.

The structure took shape with a graceful elegance, rising up from the earth like a living thing. The exterior was a blend of grand, yet natural, beauty—sleek stone walls with flowing ivy, seamlessly blending with magical energy that caused the house to glow faintly in the dimming light. The house stood large and majestic, designed with a combination of classic and modern touches, yet every inch imbued with the power of Amaris' magic, making it seem as if it could shift or adapt at will.

The house had a large, sweeping front entrance, framed by twin archways that pulsed with a soft, golden light. The front steps were made of smooth, polished stone, and at the top, the doors were grand double doors with intricate magical symbols etched into the wood, glowing faintly with blue runes. The surrounding garden was lush with vibrant flowers, trees, and magical flora that seemed to hum with life, creating a peaceful, almost otherworldly atmosphere.

Upon entering, the first floor had an open, airy feel. The living room stretched out before them, spacious and inviting, with walls made of polished wood that had veins of silver and gold running through them, reflecting the light from the magically powered chandelier overhead. Plush, comfortable seating filled the area, with large windows offering breathtaking views of the land outside.

To the left was the kitchen, with countertops that shimmered with light as though they were made of a precious, otherworldly material. Appliances of all kinds, crafted from enchanted metals, were ready to be used. There was also a large dining area with a table that could expand to fit dozens of guests, depending on the need.

At the far end of the first floor was the guest room, softly lit and filled with luxuriously made beds, while the bathroom beyond it was nothing short of extraordinary. Instead of a simple space, Amaris had created a hot spring and sauna, with heated stone pools and a naturally flowing spring, surrounded by lush greenery.

The second floor held the private rooms, starting with the master bedroom, which was expansive and filled with soft, warm lighting that gave it a cozy, intimate feel. It had an expansive bed with silken sheets, a private balcony, and views of the surrounding lands. Off to the side was the personal bathroom, which came with a large jacuzzi, perfectly placed to enjoy the view of the outdoors while soaking in tranquility.

Adjacent to the master bedroom was a training room—though separate from the rest, this space was designed for combat practice, sparring, and honing their skills. It was spacious with high ceilings and padded walls, yet the magical enhancements allowed it to adjust to various training needs.

In the middle of the second floor stood a large, open area that was perfect for Natsu's music room and dance floor. The music room was lined with instruments of all kinds, the floor designed for dance and practice, with an enchanted stage where Erza could perform her routines. This space was filled with an air of creativity and expression, perfectly designed for both of them to use as they pleased.

On one side of the second floor was a tower room, rising slightly above the roof. It had large, sweeping windows with breathtaking views of the entire land.

Amaris' bedroom was intricately woven into the very fabric of her library, creating a serene and almost ethereal space. As one entered the library, there was a seamless transition into her private sanctuary. The room, nestled in the upper reaches of the tower, felt like a retreat from the world—quiet, peaceful, and filled with an otherworldly elegance.

The room was not just a place to rest, but an extension of Amaris' connection to both knowledge and magic. Shelves lined the walls, stacked with ancient tomes and magical scrolls. The glowing, magical symbols inscribed on the bookshelves flickered softly, casting light across the room and filling it with an ambient glow that was neither too harsh nor too dim.

Amaris' bed was at the heart of the room, raised slightly by a platform of polished stone, the bed itself made of dark, rich wood with intricate designs that seemed to pulse with her power. The sheets were made from a fabric woven from the finest silks and enchanted threads that shifted color in the light, creating a calming effect. Soft pillows and cushions adorned the bed, inviting relaxation and peace.

The bedroom area was subtly separated from the rest of the library by an arc of glowing crystal, which acted as both a visual and magical barrier—keeping the room's purpose sacred while still allowing it to flow seamlessly into the library. A faintly glowing curtain of magic shimmered around the bed, further enhancing the peaceful atmosphere. The air felt charged with magic, but also calming, making it the perfect place for Amaris to rest after her exertions.

On the side of the room was a large, ornate mirror, framed with runes that seemed to come alive when gazed upon. This wasn't just any mirror—it was an enchanted object capable of showing not just reflections, but glimpses of distant places, or even the future if one focused hard enough.

Adjacent to the bed was a small sitting area, furnished with comfortable chairs and a small table. This space was perfect for reading or quiet conversation, with a window that looked out over the landscape, providing an uninterrupted view of the world below. There, Amaris often sat, surrounded by her books, contemplating her next move or just reflecting on her experiences.

Across from the sitting area was a personal desk, with an array of magical tools—quills that could write on their own, enchanted scrolls, and a glowing crystal ball that responded to her touch. The desk was organized but with an air of controlled chaos—papers and open books scattered about, each with a specific purpose.

Above the desk, a floating bookshelf of sorts hovered, where Amaris stored the books and scrolls that were most precious to her. Each piece of magical literature was a key to a different part of the world, a piece of knowledge that could open doors to infinite possibilities.

The room was filled with a subtle, gentle hum of magic, as if the very air around them was alive with power. There were no harsh lights or flickering candles—instead, magical lanterns hovered around the room, casting a soft, ambient glow that shifted according to the time of day. The scent of lavender and sage lingered in the air, making the space feel calm and inviting.

"Looks cool, well ladies, shall we?" asked Natsu.

Amaris took a step back to admire her handiwork, her galaxy eyes shimmering with approval, "Quite so. I am a Goddess after all."

Erza nodded in agreement, her gaze sweeping over the intricate details of the magical library-bedroom. "It's incredible. Every detail feels alive, like it's responding to your presence."

Amaris smiled warmly at Erza's words, her pride evident as she clasped her hands together. "That's the beauty of a magical house. It doesn't just exist—it adapts, responds, and becomes an extension of those who live within it. This space will evolve with us, reflecting our desires and growth."

Natsu grinned, his hands on his hips as he glanced between the two women. "Well, it's definitely better than what I could've built with just some wood and nails. Alright, ladies, let's break it in. What's first? A feast, some training, or testing out that hot spring?"

Amaris chuckled, tilting her head with an air of amusement. "You do realize this isn't just a house—it's a masterpiece of divine craftsmanship. You should savor it before tearing it apart with one of your infamous training sessions."

Erza crossed her arms, a small smirk playing on her lips. "I vote for the hot spring. After everything we've been through, a little relaxation is well-earned."

Natsu raised a hand in agreement, his grin widening. "Hot spring it is! But only if we can eat afterward. I'm starving."

Amaris smirked, a mischievous glint in her galaxy-like eyes. "Are you more excited about the food, or the fact you're about to step into a hot spring with a naked Goddess and a Dragoness?"

Natsu chuckled, "Hey, hey, I've earned a reward, haven't I? Besides, you two are pretty lucky yourselves. After all, who else gets to be around someone as amazing as me?"

Erza turned beet red and jabbed Natsu sharply in the ribs. "Natsu! Have some decorum!"

"Hey, why blush?" Natsu teased, his grin turning sly. "We've done more than just see each other naked, haven't we?"

"Natsu!" Erza hissed, her voice a mixture of embarrassment and indignation. "Amaris is here!"

The goddess tilted her head with an amused smile, her otherworldly eyes sparkling. "Oh, Erza, there's no need to be embarrassed. I've already seen glimpses of your… intimate moments during my time within Natsu's soul. Fascinating experiences, I must say. But worry not—I'm not here to judge." She leaned in closer, her voice dropping to a playful murmur. "I'm here to enjoy."

Erza covered her face with her hands, her blush intensifying. "Why are you like this?"

Natsu wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close and whispering into her ear, "Thought you liked me? What, now you're embarrassed of me?"

Erza's eyes widened, a mix of flustered frustration and affection in her voice. "What? No! It's just—oh, you lucky, lucky man!" She shook her head, exasperated but softening, "You're lucky I love you."

Amaris's playful giggle filled the air as she teased, "Oh, sweetheart, it's going to be a long ride for the both of you, so I hope you're ready to get used to me— snooping around." Her mischievous gaze glinted as she added, "Don't worry though, I promise I won't snoop too much when you two... indulge yourselves... for now."

Erza's face turned a deeper shade of crimson, her embarrassment palpable as she shot a mock glare at the goddess. "Amaris!"

Natsu, ever the charmer, grinned widely and nudged Erza. "Looks like we're stuck with her, huh?"

"Why aren't you embarrassed?" Erza asked, her voice a mix of frustration and disbelief.

Natsu's grin widened, completely at ease with the situation. "Hey, I know how great our sex life is.. you're pretty vocal about it." He winked, his teasing tone lighthearted. "So why be embarrassed about it? Amaris saw some of our memories, sure... but she's gonna get an earful, or maybe even a front-row seat a lot more in the future. Don't lie, Erza, we do it a lot."

Erza groaned, her blush growing even deeper. "Mmmm, let's just go to the hot spring and be done with this, please."

Amaris's voice took on a playful, almost sultry tone as she leaned in, "Just so you know, sugar, I wouldn't mind if you two... start having sex in the hot spring…"

"I CAN'T HEAR YOU! LA LA LA!" Erza covered her ears with her hands, her face as red as her hair.

Natsu couldn't help but burst into laughter at Erza's flustered reaction, the sight of her embarrassment only adding to his amusement. "Oh come on, Erza," he teased, "You're going to have to get used to it. Amaris is gonna be around, and she's not gonna let us have a moment's peace."

Erza shot him a look, still covering her ears, but it was clear she was trying to hold back a smile. "You're impossible, Natsu," she muttered, her voice muffled by her hands.

Amaris, on the other hand, was enjoying every second of their playful banter. "Oh, but it's so much fun! You two are like an open book. Besides," she added with a wink, "I'm sure there will be plenty of other... interesting moments for me to witness."

Natsu gave Erza a knowing look, his grin turning a bit more affectionate. "You know, this is what happens when you're stuck with me. But hey, it'll be a fun ride."

Erza finally lowered her hands, shooting both Natsu and Amaris a playful but resigned glance. "Alright, fine. Let's go to the hot spring before you two drive me mad."

Amaris clapped her hands, delighted by the outcome. "Now that's the spirit! Let's go, then."

As the three of them headed toward the hot spring, the air between them felt light and easy, full of teasing and laughter. It was clear that despite the chaos of their powers and the weight of their pasts, they had found something worth cherishing in each other—whether they were bickering or enjoying moments of quiet connection.

A few days later

A few days later, Natsu, Gray, Gajeel, and Laxus were lounging on a grassy hill just outside Magnolia, the setting sun casting an orange glow over the landscape. They were a bit removed from the town, enjoying the peace and quiet, the distant city sprawled out before them.

"You know," Gajeel said, breaking the comfortable silence, "we could start calling this the 'Slayer's Night,' now that we're all Slayers."

Laxus raised an eyebrow at him, looking unimpressed. "Yeah, but I've been meaning to ask. What's the difference between Dragon Slayer and Devil Slayer? I mean, what does it feel like? I know you two are different, but I'm curious."

Gray shrugged and pointed at Natsu. "You've got the best source right here. He's the one with both."

Natsu leaned back against the tree, tapping his chin thoughtfully. "Hmm, how should I put this? Well, they're a lot more similar than people think. The way I see it, demons are the closest race to the Astrals, and dragons are the closest to demons. So as you get stronger with either, they start feeling pretty identical." He looked over at his friends, his expression a little distant. "Take my Seraphic Dragon Monarch Slayer Magic, for example. It's a mix of my Fire Dragon Monarch Magic and some aspects of the Devil Slayer Magic I got from Belial and Beowulf. It's not that different. The difference is more conceptual, really."

He glanced around at them, making sure they were following. "If you get into the technical stuff, there's a lot of overlap. But when it comes to the body, Dragons tend to be more specialized. For instance, Gajeel's Magic is more defensive—he's built like a tank. My flames are more offensive, a pure, all-out assault. Laxus, though, is more balanced—he has both the offensive and defensive elements, but he still doesn't have the raw defense that Gajeel's got or the sheer attack power my flames carry."

He grinned, then added, "But Devils? Devils tend to have it all. They don't really specialize the same way. The elements still matter, but overall, their power covers offense, defense, and everything in between. They're like the ultimate mix of the two."

Gajeel chuckled, tapping his claws against the grass. "So Devils are the all-arounders, huh? What about you, Gray?"

Gray took a moment to think, then shrugged. "Well, like Natsu said, I've got a boost across the board, but my Ice Devil Slayer Magic is more defensive. From the memories I saw, Blitzgor's ice was almost indestructible. It's solid, tough stuff."

Laxus nodded thoughtfully, tapping his fingers on his knee. "What about God Slayer Magic, though? People say God Slayer Magic's the best of all Slayer Magics."

Natsu waved his hand dismissively, his grin never fading. "That's a pretty overblown claim. The fact that all higher beings tie their existence to Demons kinda makes that statement false. Dragon and God Magic are the only magics that can truly rival Demon Magic. Anything else—Phoenix Magic, Vampire Magic, that sort of thing—at some point they either transform into Demon Magic, or they stay weak, not reaching the same level. And as for God Slayer Magic… Well, that depends on the concept behind it."

He leaned forward a bit, his eyes gleaming with a hint of seriousness. "Elemental God Magic, like Fire God or Lightning God, is weak to the Gods. To them, Fire God Magic is like normal fire magic to mortals—it's nothing special. What really matters to them is conceptual magic. The Night God Slayer Magic Amaris gave me is a perfect example. It's not just about Darkness. It's about the concept of Night and Darkness. It's not the element; it's the very essence of what Night is."

The group was quiet for a moment, processing what Natsu had said. The implications were clear—while elemental power mattered, the deeper, conceptual forces behind the magic were what truly set the strongest apart. Natsu's grin returned, and he leaned back, letting the moment of reflection pass.

"Basically," Natsu said with a smirk, "it's all about understanding the concept and how it shapes reality. That's what makes a real difference. And trust me, when you understand the concept, your magic becomes something far more powerful than just flames or ice or lightning."

Gray raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "What do you mean by that?"

Natsu's grin widened, his excitement palpable. "Wanna know something cool? My flames, they had the ability to force the concept of Burning onto nearly anything—magic, spells, barriers, you name it. In some cases, even on my own limits. That's how I used to pull those out-of-nowhere wins, like when it seemed like I was losing, but I'd somehow turn the tables. And now? That concept of Burning is mixed with my Seraphic Dragon Monarch Magic. I can use it with Light too."

Laxus let out a low whistle, clearly impressed. "That's—fucking OP."

Natsu chuckled, rolling his shoulders nonchalantly. "Yeah, it's pretty wild. But it's all about the concept. Once you tap into that level of understanding, you start to manipulate the very essence of what your magic represents. It's more than just fire—it's about the idea of what fire means, burning and destruction. When you can wield that concept, nothing is off-limits."

Gajeel nodded slowly, his claws tapping against the grass as he processed Natsu's words. "Yeah, sounds like it'd be a real game-changer. But..." He glanced at Gray. "What would our Concepts be?"

Gray tilted his head, considering the question. "Yeah, what about mine? I've been thinking about it, but I'm not sure."

Natsu tapped his chin thoughtfully, his eyes flickering between the group. "Well, for you, Gray? Yours would definitely be something like freezing. You've heard the phrase 'freeze time,' right? What if your Concept was tied to time manipulation, even if it's on a smaller scale? You know, freezing things in the moment, stopping their progress. It's not just about ice anymore—it's about halting the flow of things, making them static."

Gray blinked, surprised by the idea. "Time? That's... something I've never considered. It makes sense, though. Every time I freeze something, it kind of feels like I'm stopping time around it."

Laxus leaned back against the tree, a thoughtful look crossing his face. "And what about me? My lightning, it's fast, but there's got to be more to it."

Natsu grinned. "For you, Laxus? Speed. Your magic is all about how fast you can move and strike. But it's not just about raw speed. It's the Concept of velocity—the way energy flows through everything and how you can manipulate that flow. Speed's just a surface-level interpretation. I think it's the Concept of movement, of rapid transformation, that you're tapping into. You can move lightning fast, sure, but you're also changing everything you touch, reshaping it as you pass through."

Laxus raised an eyebrow. "That's a hell of a way to put it."

Natsu shrugged. "Concepts aren't simple. They're layered. They change depending on the person. Yours is about speed, yes, but also about how movement itself impacts everything. It's like an unstoppable force."

Gajeel leaned forward, intrigued. "So, what you're saying is, it's not just about our elements—it's about how we use them, how they connect to something deeper. But can anyone just find their Concept?"

Natsu nodded. "Exactly. The element is just the surface. But once you understand the Concept, that's when you truly unlock your potential. And it's possible with the right magic—believe me, you've all got the right magic."

Laxus and Gray exchanged a glance, both clearly considering what Natsu had said. They could feel the weight of it, the realization that there were levels to their power they hadn't even begun to tap into yet.

"Guess we've got some work to do," Gray muttered.

Natsu grinned. "Always. But that's what makes it fun."

After a moment of silence, Laxus spoke with a grin, "Sooo, moving in with Erza and your resident Goddess in your mind? How life? Any more spicy?"

Natsu chuckled, "Quite spicy, Amaris has taken a liking to teasing Erza about our … activities."

"Activities? Is that what you call banging Titania?"

Natsu laughed, shaking his head. "I wouldn't call it 'banging,' Laxus. But yeah, Amaris loves teasing Erza about our... activities."

Gray raised an eyebrow, trying to suppress a grin. "And Erza's okay with that?"

"She's getting used to it," Natsu said with a smirk. "At first, she was a little... embarrassed, but now? She's just as good at throwing jabs as Amaris is. It's become a bit of a competition, actually."

Laxus snickered. "Sounds like you've got a handful on your hands."

Natsu shrugged with a wide grin. "Hey, what can I say? I've got two beautiful women to keep me on my toes."

Gajeel chuckled, leaning back against the tree. "Yeah, you're an immortal demon with a Dragoness as a mate and a Goddess bonded to you? I wonder how long it'll be before you start banging the goddess too."

"Hey!" Natsu's face flushed slightly as he glared at Gajeel.

"What?" Gajeel raised an eyebrow, unbothered. "As if we weren't thinking about it. Amaris herself said your bond is nearly like the one you have with Erza through the Dragon Mark, and that's a Mate's Mark."

"To be fair," Laxus added, "that kind of bond doesn't exactly stay platonic for long. But hey, if anyone could pull off dating a Dragoness and a Goddess, it might just be you, Natsu."

Natsu shifted awkwardly, but his smirk remained. "That's a lot of assumptions, guys. But yeah... I'll figure it out. One day at a time, right?"

Gajeel and Laxus exchanged a look, both clearly enjoying the teasing, while Gray tried to hold back a laugh.

"Just don't get too cocky, Natsu," Gray added with a grin. "We all know how you are when things get... interesting."

"Yeah? Well, what about you?" Natsu shot back, smirking. "How's dating Juvia? She hasn't drowned you yet?"

Gray's face flushed slightly, but he quickly recovered with a half-smile. "It's fine. You know, just... fine."

Gajeel leaned back against the tree with a mischievous grin. "Sooo, how's life in the bedroom?"

Gray shot him a flat look. "Why do you ask me about my bedroom and not Natsu's?"

"Cuz either Natsu will try to kill me, or Erza will," Gajeel replied, his grin widening.

Gray raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. "Fair point."

Natsu chuckled and stretched his arms behind his head. "Hey, I'm just living the dream over here. Got two amazing women and no complaints. But you two? You're the ones over there trying to dodge questions." He shot a playful look at Gray and Gajeel.

Gray sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "We're not dodging anything. Just... not making it everyone's business, you know?"

"Right, right," Natsu teased. "But if you want a real question, Gray, how's Juvia handling your... emotional side?"

Gray blinked. "What do you mean?"

"You know, her being all lovey-dovey while you're acting like an ice cube," Natsu replied, his grin widening.

"Not everyone wears their emotions on their sleeve like you, Natsu," Gray shot back with a smirk.

Gajeel snorted. "You're one to talk, Ice Princess. You get all shy around Juvia sometimes, don't even try to hide it."

Gray shot Gajeel a glare, but Gajeel just laughed, clearly amused by the banter. "Hey, it's cool. Just don't get all mushy in front of me, alright? I'd rather not see that."

Laxus shook his head, exasperated. "You guys are hopeless."

"What about you, Sparkles?" Gajeel asked, raising an eyebrow. "How's your love life?"

Laxus raised an eyebrow and shot them all a sharp look. "My love life's none of your business," he grumbled, crossing his arms. "Besides, it's not like you're all that much better, huh?"

Natsu grinned. "Only you and Gajeel. Gray and I actually have girlfriends."

Laxus scoffed and leaned back, clearly trying to avoid the topic. "You're all acting like you've got everything figured out. But you still don't know the first thing about real relationships. You think it's all about romance, but sometimes, it's about understanding the people around you."

Natsu leaned forward with a smirk. "You're just scared to admit you've got someone, huh? Who's the lucky lady? Juvia's off the market, so... who's next?"

Laxus narrowed his eyes, clearly frustrated. "I don't have time for this." He pushed himself up from the ground, ready to end the conversation. "I'm not getting into my personal life with you idiots."

Gray chuckled, unfazed by Laxus's irritation. "We're just messing with you, man. No need to get all grumpy."

"Yeah," Natsu added with a grin, "but one of these days, we're gonna find out who's got you wrapped around their finger. It'll happen sooner or later."

Laxus shot a glance at the group, his scowl slowly shifting into a smirk. "You guys are annoying."

"You love us," Gajeel said with a grin.

Laxus rolled his eyes but couldn't help the small chuckle that escaped him. "Fine, maybe a little. But I'm not sharing any details."

Gray raised his hands in mock surrender. "Hey, no one's forcing you to spill anything. But you can't keep pretending there's no one out there who catches your eye."

Laxus just grunted and sat back down, clearly done with the subject. "Whatever. Let's just enjoy the peace while it lasts."
