Hanna arrives at the Radley Hotel at noon. She is planning to have lunch with Caleb again, but she makes a stop at Ashley's office first and knocks on the door.
Ashley opens the door shortly after, but she is on her phone so she sits back at her desk and Hanna takes seat too. She grabs her phone and texts Caleb: Babe, I'm already here. I'm talking to my mom.
As she waits for Ashley to finish with her call, she gets a text from Caleb: Ok. Take your time. Will be here at my office.
Some minutes later Ashley finally hangs up and looks at Hanna.
Ashley "Hi, honey" she greets her warmly. "To what do I owe the honor of your visit? Couldn't find Caleb?" She jokes since Hanna rarely shows up at her office, but she knows she has been visiting Caleb there almost every day.
Hanna only replies with a smile and hands her a flash drive.
Ashley "What's this?"
Hanna "The business plan Spencer and I have been working on. It's finished and I want you to take a look at it and let me know what you think"
Hanna adapted the business plan according to Caleb's suggestions that morning.
Ashley "Great, Han! I'll check this out as soon as possible"
Hanna "Thanks, mom" she stands up from her seat. "Wanna join Caleb and me for lunch?" she invites her while walking to the door.
Ashley "I can't baby, I've work to do. I'll see you later at home"
Hanna "Okay, see you!"

Hanna and Caleb are walking holding hands. They had a quick lunch and now are enjoying the sunny weather outside, even though it's a little windy.
Caleb "I was thinking that maybe we could all get together at my place one of these days and grill something… These are the last days of good weather."
Hanna "I'd love that! A night all together again… well, except for Aria and Ezra, I'm not sure when they are coming back. But still."
Caleb "Have you heard from them?"
Hanna "Aria texted me, she seemed happy and they've been posting cute pictures together on IG." Hanna suddenly stops walking and stares at Caleb with a grin on her face.
Just by seeing the look in her eyes, Caleb knows she is up to something.
Caleb "What?"
Hanna "Follow me." She says still smiling while pulling from their joined hands.
They go like two blocks down the street and get to the park. After taking a look around, Hanna leads Caleb to some nice spot under a tree.
Hanna "Stand right here, baby." She places her hands on his shoulders and positions him properly so the light of the sun illuminates his face perfectly. Then she goes stand behind his back and wrapping one arm around his chest, she uses her other arm to hold her phone in front of them.
Caleb chuckles "All this just to take a selfie?"
Hanna "Bend your knees a little, you are too tall." She instructs him.
Caleb does as he was told and Hanna takes several pictures.
Caleb "Here." He lifts her up, giving her a piggyback.
Hanna "Great!" She happily says and takes some more pictures. "That will do." She kisses his cheek and he puts her down. "I just realized we didn't have any pictures together." She says while taking a look at the pics she just took.
Caleb stands behind her back to take a look as well. He wraps his hands around her waist.
Hanna "I love this one."
Caleb "Yeah…" Her deep beautiful blue eyes filled with the sun light catch his attention mostly. "Send it to me. I wanna have it too." He kisses her cheek and releases her. "I have to go back, Han."
Hanna "Okay, let's go."

That afternoon Hanna is down in the basement drawing a new design on her sketchbook when Ashley shows up down there.
Hanna "Hey, mom! You are early."
Ashley smiles at her, she looks happy.
Hanna "What's with you?" She asks since Ashley is staring at her.
Ashley "I took a look at your business plan and it's very good, Han." She approaches her daughter. And since Hanna is sitting on a chair, she leans forward to hug her. "I just transferred all the money you need to your account."
Hanna "Oh my god, mom! Thank you so much!" She says while hugging her back. "I'll pay you back as soon as I can."
Ashley pulls away from the hug and takes her face in her hands. "You don't have to pay me back. I don't want you to. Just start working on your dresses." She presses a kiss to her forehead. "I love you, you will always be my baby girl no matter how old you are. I'm happy to help." She says and turns to go back upstairs, leaving Hanna touched by her loving words.
/
Half an hour later the doorbell rings and Hanna knows it must be Zeth, Chocolate's walker, so she goes to answer the door right away. And she was right, it's him, but she also notices Caleb parking his car too.
Zeth "Han! How are you doing?"
Hanna "Hey, Zeth… I'm very well, you?" She sees Caleb getting out of his car in the background.
Zeth "I'm pretty good… thanks for asking." He answers while handing Chocolate's leash to her. "I haven't seen you in a couple of days, I left Chocolate with your mother." He makes some conversation.
Caleb is already standing there a few feet behind Zeth.
Hanna "Yeah… I've been busy." She grabs Chocolate's leash.
Zeth "Thank god it's Friday, huh?"
Hanna "Yes, totally!"
Zeth "Do you have plans for the weekend?"
Hanna "Yeah, I'm getting together with my friends. What about you?" She asks being polite.
Zeth "There's this party at some guy's cabin tomorrow night… maybe you and your friends would like to come, it's-"
Hanna cuts him off. "Oh, thank you… but we don't do parties anymore. We'd rather just hang out." She shoots him a kind smile.
Zeth "Well, you have my number if you change your mind. See you!" He shoots her a smile. "Good bye, Chocolate." He pets his head and turns to walk away with two other dogs.
Hanna "See you!"
Zeth "Oh, hi sir!" He greets Caleb as well now that he sees him and goes on his way.
Hanna can't help the amused smile on her face at seeing Caleb's straight face.
Caleb "Nice…" he only says and goes into the house along with Hanna and Chocolate.
Hanna "He's just a boy. I'm sure he is barely eighteen or something." She says still amused while putting Chocolate off his leash.
Caleb "Well buddy, you just lost your walker. He will be fired." He jokes while stroking Chocolate's head. "Your owner seems to have a thing for anyone who would walk you."
Hanna laughs. "You are such an idiot!" She wraps her arms around Caleb's neck. "Besides, in any case, Zeth has a thing for me and not the other way around. I was just being nice to him. I only have a thing for cute guys who steal my dog for a year and then come back and piss me off until I fall for them."
Caleb "Good thing there aren't many of that type." He wraps his arms around her too.
Hanna "Yeah, it's a very rare type." she starts kissing his lips. "And I like them even more when they are also computer nerds…" She runs the tip of her tongue along his bottom lip.
Caleb "Mhm… you do?" he pushes her tongue back into her mouth using his. "And what else do you like?" He gives her a soft bite.
Hanna "Good kissers."
Just like that, they end up making out against the wall. Caleb picks her up by the thighs with the intention of carrying her upstairs, but Hanna stops him.
Hanna "My mom is in the kitchen." She kisses his neck.
Caleb "Okay, let's go to my place." He puts Hanna down.
Hanna "Mom, I'm leaving with Caleb!" She yells as Caleb opens the front door.
Ashley "Okay, honey." She yells back from the kitchen.
Hanna "Come on, Chocolate! Let's go baby."
/
They are in Caleb's bed.
He is on top of Hanna, his forearms placed on the mattress at each side of her providing him steadiness as he moves. The whole dog-walker situation was such a turn on for both of them. Caleb loves knowing that Hanna is hot as hell but it's only his for making the things he is doing to her right now. And Hanna just loves driving him crazy.
Caleb lowers his pace because he knows he won't last too much longer and takes down one of his hands to touch Hanna.
But Hanna takes his hand and moves it away.
Hanna "Keep it rough, baby. I've got this." She reaches between her legs and takes care of herself for Caleb to be able to keep his pace up.
Caleb "Fuck, Hanna… you are gonna give me a heart attack." He places his arm back on the mattress and speeds up his pace again.
Hanna smiles proudly and Caleb can't take his eyes off of her hand down there. Shortly after, Hanna's smile disappears as her lips part to let out a soft moan as she reaches her highest peak of pleasure. Caleb turns his gaze to her face now and her expression is the last turn on he needs to join her and reach his peak as well.
He flops down on the bed next to her, resting on his stomach, completely exhausted. Hanna turns to her side and starts running her hand up and down on his sweaty back.
Caleb "I'll need a shower." He smiles relaxed.
Hanna "Yeah, me too." She says and uses her free hand to wipe off the sweat between her breasts.
Caleb "Fuck, Hanna."
Hanna chuckles. "What?"
Caleb "Stop being so hot."
Hanna laughs and gets closer to place a tender kiss on his mouth.
They stay in bed a little longer and then they go take a shower together, but since they have just released their sexual tension, it's a very tender shower together, sharing some kisses and caresses.
They are now back in the bedroom.
Hanna starts taking the sheets off of the bed. "We need to get these in the washer." she is wearing one of Caleb's t-shirts and clean underwear, she's got her own space in Caleb's closet as well.
Caleb goes help her. He is just in boxers.
Caleb "What do you want for dinner?" He asks as they finish with the sheets.
Hanna "I don't know… I'm not so hungry."
Caleb "Good, because I don't feel like cooking either."
Hanna smiles at him. "Let's just order some pizza, then."
Caleb "Okay, just let me get these in the washer and I'll take care of it."
Hanna nods.
Caleb goes downstairs and Hanna goes get clean sheets from the closet in the hallway. She is finishing making the bed when Caleb shows up back in there. He is holding a little box in his hands.
Hanna "What's that?" she asks curiously.
Caleb "Didn't you ask me to see my baby pictures?"
Hanna grins. "Yeah, I can't wait!" She is excited.
Caleb goes lie on the bed, resting his back on some pillows, half sitting. Hanna goes and lies down between his legs, resting her back against his torso.
Caleb opens the little box and takes out a few pictures. He hands one of them to Hanna. "I was six months in this one."
Hanna "You were such a cute little baby." she stares at it.
Caleb "This one is from my first birthday." He hands her a picture of himself in front of a big cake. He is being held by someone else, but only their arm shows on the pic, so it's just Caleb.
Hanna chuckles. "I love your big eyes… it looks like you just wanted to bury your face into that cake."
Caleb smiles. "Yeah."
He shows Hanna a few more pictures until there's only one left.
Caleb "This is the last one." He hands it to her. "I'm with my mom… my adoptive mom."
Hanna "So adorable…" she stares at the pic. "What was her name?"
Caleb "Susan… that's the only picture I have with her… I was like four years old in it, so I guess it's from a short time before she died." He just tells her.
Hanna remains silent.
Caleb "Well, that would be all." He starts to put the pictures back in the box, except for the last one, because Hanna is still staring at it. "You will have to show me your baby pictures too."
He gets no answer again. He doesn't know because he can't see her face, but she is a mess of tears and can't say a word. She already knew his story, but having that picture in her hands just makes it more real. She puts the picture aside and finally turns around. Kneeling between his legs, she pulls him into a hug, and that's when he realizes that she is sobbing uncontrollably.
Caleb "Han, why are you crying?" He asks softly while sitting up and wrapping his arms around her too.
She still doesn't say anything. She makes herself more comfortable by sitting on the mattress and placing her legs at each side of him, straddling him.
Hanna "You were so little, Caleb." She finally says and rests her head on his shoulder.
Caleb chuckles. "I know, those were my baby pictures of course I was little." He jokes while running his hands up and down against her back.
Hanna "No, I mean when you lost your mom." she says between sobs.
Caleb "It's okay, Han… I barely remember it." He lies. Even though he was a little boy, he remembers very well the day he was taken out from his first home, but there's no way he is going to tell her about it. "I didn't think you would get this upset, I shouldn't have shown you the pictures."
Hanna pulls away to look at him. "I asked you to. And I loved seeing them. I love learning more about you… it just breaks my heart thinking of that baby Caleb losing his mom." She wipes her tears. "That's all."
Caleb nods and kisses her cheek.
Hanna "You know what? If I could, I would just travel back in time, take that four-year-old baby boy, and place him with another loving adoptive family."
Caleb chuckles. "Like a puppy from a shelter?" He jokes.
Hanna "Yeah, even if it meant I wouldn't have you now. Even if changing the past meant I wouldn't meet you in the future, I don't care. I just love you so much that I wish I could have spared you from ending up in those terrible foster homes and suffering so much." Some more tears escape from her eyes again.
Caleb's eyes get watery too. "I love you so much that I don't care about everything I went through because it somehow led me to you. And I couldn't be happier now." He takes his hands to her cheeks and kisses her, tasting the salty tears on her lips. "Let's calm down, okay?" He takes a deep breath.
Hanna takes a deep breath too.
Caleb traces her trembling bottom lip with his thumb. "You are so cute."
Hanna "Tell me nice things, it might help." she says as another tear runs down on her wet cheek.
Caleb smiles at her. "I like the color of your eyes when you cry, they just look deeper." He keeps caressing her cheeks with his thumbs. "And your lips get so swollen and reddish… so sexy."
Hanna smiles slightly. "I said nice things, not dirty."
Caleb grins. "Well, but it's working, isn't it?"
He gets a little chuckle from her and she starts a tender kiss.
The doorbell rings interrupting them.
Caleb "Must be the pizza… you hungry now?
Hanna "Yeah, I'm hungry now… crying makes me hungry." She says while standing up from the bed. "I'll go wash my face."
Caleb stands up as well. "Okay, baby." He kisses her forehead.
He puts on a pair of sweat pants and heads downstairs.
Hanna goes out the bedroom and meets Chocolate in the hallway. She can't help kneeling down to hug him. The dog starts liking her still wet cheeks. "You are so sweet."
/
Morning after.
Hanna gets in the kitchen after her morning shower, already dressed and with some light makeup on. "Morning, babe!"
Caleb is sitting at the table, already having breakfast. Hanna goes to sit on his lap, takes his hand, guides it to her mouth, and takes a bite of the toast he is holding, just like that.
Caleb chuckles. "You could have give me a kiss before eating my toast at last." He wraps his other arm around her.
Hanna "Sorry, babe." She says with her mouth still full and places a very quick peck on his lips. Once she finally swallows, she speaks again. "What are you doing today?" She grabs his mug and steals a few sips of his coffee as well.
Caleb "First of all, I'm making myself another breakfast." He jokes and kisses her cheek. "And then I'll meet up with Toby… he is showing me to my grandpa's grave. He just texted me." He takes a bite of his toast too.
Hanna "Oh! that's good, baby."
Caleb "Wanna come with us?"
Hanna "I can't… I've got things to do and I think it's something you two need to do alone. I'll come with you another time, okay?"
Caleb nods.
Hanna is about to stand up from his lap but Caleb tightens his grip around her waist, stopping her.
Caleb "Where you going?"
Hanna "To make some more toasts."
Caleb "I was just messing with you, Han… I made plenty for both of us." He slides the plate closer to her. "Did you really think I would make breakfast just for myself?" He hands her the cream cheese as well.
Hanna gives him a slight smile. She still doesn't get used to be with someone so thoughtful like Caleb. Jordan used to wake up earlier than her back in New York, and he never waited for her to have breakfast together, let alone prepare something for her. It's not that he wouldn't do it because he was a bad guy; he just didn't pay attention to those little things. Maybe Caleb is the way he is because of everything he went through; perhaps he didn't have anyone to make him a simple toast. Or maybe he does it simply because he is kind.
Caleb's lips on her shoulder bring her back from her thoughts as he places a tender kiss there. "So, what is keeping you busy today?"
Hanna "Oh! I completely forgot to tell you, but my mom already gave me the money to get started. I'll start ordering some supplies I need. Spencer and I found a lot of good wholesale dealers online while looking for prices, so I made a list."
Caleb "That's awesome, Han. I'm really happy for you."
Hanna shoots him a smile. "Thank you, baby."

Caleb parks his car outside the cemetery and waits for Toby to arrive. After a few minutes, he sees Toby parking right behind him in his rear-view mirror, so he gets out of his car to meet him.
Caleb "Hey, man!"
Toby "Hey!"
Caleb "Are you okay to drive? I could have picked you up"
Toby "Yeah, I'm fine Spencer." He jokes.
Caleb only smiles and they head to the entrance of the cemetery.
Toby "This way." He says and leads the way.
Caleb "You come here often?"
Toby "Not really… I think I just came a couple of times."
Caleb nods.
Toby "Here we are." They finally get to the grave a few seconds later.
Caleb not only sees his grandfather's grave, but also that of his grandmother and some other relatives. It was something obvious, but Caleb didn't even think of it and wasn't expecting it, so he becomes a bit bewildered. He simply stands there and doesn't approach any closer.
Toby stares at him confused. But then he figures it must be not easy for Caleb. "I'll give you a minute." He starts to walk away.
Caleb "It's okay." He says and Toby turns back around. "So…" He finally approaches his grandfather's grave and takes a look. "Did you take care of the headstone?" He just asks.
Toby goes stand by his side. "Yeah… Spencer helped with the arrangements too."
Caleb rests his palm on Toby's shoulder. "Thanks, Toby."
Toby "You don't have to thank me… I told you, he was like a grandfather to me, so."
Caleb nods and takes his hand of off his shoulder.
They remain silent for a couple of minutes. And then it's Toby the one who breaks the silence.
Toby "I think he put you in my way the other day… you know? The shooting... I really thought I was gonna die. And it was good to have you there."
Caleb "Well, I surely have to thank him for everything I have now. I would have never met you guys if he hadn't looked for me. I wouldn't have met Hanna… I just wish he could have lived a couple more years. I would have liked him to meet Hanna, and I also would have enjoyed going with you and him on one of those fishing trips you told me about."
Toby "We'll go fishing. I'll take you to the wonderful places he showed me."
Caleb "You were right. I should have been here."
Toby "No, I wasn't right. I was just being an ass. It must have been hard for you too, having someone show up in your life after being on your own for so long. I'm sorry for the things I said." he apologizes once more.
Caleb "No, it wasn't like that. Having him in my life all of a sudden wasn't the hard part. It was hard trying to get closer to him while also keeping things from him at the same time. It just overwhelmed me. Anyway, stop apologizing already. I told you the other day it's fine." he turns to face Toby. "Let's just start over." He offers his hand for a handshake.
Toby shakes his hand but also pulls him into a hug.
Toby's phone starts ringing so he lets go of Caleb to take the call. "Hello?" he says on the phone while walking a bit away.
Caleb takes the opportunity to look around. He finally spots his birth mother's grave, but he only takes a quick glance at it. He approaches his grandfather's grave again. "I'm bringing Hanna with me next time, grandpa." He smiles. "I'm sure you already like her anyway." That's all he says because he feels kind of stupid speaking to a headstone, and decides to walk away too.
When he gets to Toby, he is ending his call.
Toby "Ready to go?"
Caleb "Yeah, let's go."
Toby "I have to ask you something, a favor… Obviously, you can just say no, and it would be fine." he says as they make their way to the exit.
Caleb "Sure. What can I help you with?"
Toby "You know I haven't left the police force yet because I'm working on this investigation, and I really want to help close it before leaving."
Caleb "Yeah."
Toby "Well, it's all about a drug trafficking gang that wants to establish itself in Rosewood using a construction company as a front to launder money."
Caleb "So that is what is keeping you in the police, huh?"
Toby "Yeah... I wouldn't want Rosewood to turn into some sort of gang-infested town, especially now that I'm having a kid. Shootings like the one the other day shouldn't happen here. This is a peaceful town."
Caleb "Yeah, I get you… So, how can I help?"
Toby "I can't give you any more information, the less you know the better. But we need to retrieve some information from the gang leader's computer, and it has to be tonight. If we get to do it tonight and everything goes as planned, this all could be over by Monday. We are trying to get a computer specialist from the Philly PD, but he is working on some other case and he might not make it in time to-"
Caleb "I'll do it." He cuts him off. "I'll be happy to help."
Toby grins. "Great! I'm sure you'll do a better job than that guy from the Philly PD who might not even make it in time to help us tonight anyway. Just let me know what you need to get it done."
Caleb "Do you guys have someone on the inside of the gang helping you?"
Toby "Yeah, we have an informant and also an undercover police officer infiltrated in the gang. Any of them could help us."
They reach their vehicles but remain standing on the sidewalk as they talk.
Caleb "Good. There's a new technique for stealing data using a tiny device. It works by connecting it to the target computer and is very effective and fast at transferring files. But you need to be in close proximity to make it work. You don't even need the target to be connected to the internet… If the police manage to get that device in time for tonight and your informant is willing to connect it to this computer, it would be simple."
Toby "Yeah, absolutely. Just tell me what this device is and they will take care of it."
Caleb "Wait a minute... Weren't you on leave from work after the shooting? Are you back already?"
Toby "Yeah… I couldn't help it, I had to be a part of this." He smiles. "Wanna go grab something for lunch?"
Caleb "Yeah, sure. Hanna must still be busy anyway."
Toby "You can call her and ask for permission." He makes fun of him while getting in his pickup track.
