Almost a week later. It's Friday evening, and Caleb gets back home from work. As soon as he crosses the front door, a delicious sweet smell leads him right to the kitchen.

Caleb "Who are you and what did you do with my wifey?" He says playfully as he approaches Hanna, who's removing cookies from a baking sheet and placing them on a plate.

She's standing at the kitchen counter, so he wraps his arms around her, below her baby bump, holding her from behind.

Hanna "Just trying to find more ways of killing time…" She responds, still focused on her task.

Caleb "What happened to your burst of inspiration?"

Since they came back from the fashion show in New York almost a week ago, Hanna's been on a creative surge, spending days working non-stop on her sketchbook and coming up with a bunch of new designs.

Hanna "It's fading…" She says while placing the last cookie on the plate.

Caleb "How are you feeling today?" He kisses her cheek while intertwining his fingers on her lower baby bump and gently pulling up.

Hanna lets out a soft sigh of relief, leaning back into him. "Oh, that feels so good..."

Caleb chuckles. "Just this?" He asks, still holding her baby bump. "You used to say that to me in bed…" He comments, amused.

Hanna laughs. "You are an idiot… and yes, it feels nice because it weighs less." She explains, resting her hand on her baby bump and placing the other over Caleb's hands. "I'm feeling okay, just a bit tired. My back's been killing me. And before you say something, I made the cookie dough sitting at the table, and I was on the couch until the timer just went off."

Caleb smiles and tenderly kisses her cheek again. "How about you take that plate of cookies to the couch and I make some tea?" He offers, even though it's almost time to start making dinner.

Hanna nods, turning in his arms to face him. "Sounds perfect… just hurry up with that tea, because I can't promise there will be any cookies left when you join me on the couch…"

Caleb grins and steals a cookie from the plate, still holding her with his other arm. "I should probably taste one now then."

Hanna grins too as she watches him take a bite, her eyes expectant.

Caleb "Mmm, babe…" He says as he chews. "These are delicious."

Hanna's grin widens. "Really?" She asks, half surprised, half skeptical.

Caleb nods as he finishes swallowing. "This cookie is great, Han. Are you sure you made them?" He teases her, narrowing his eyes.

Hanna rolls her eyes. "Are they really good?" She asks, still unable to believe him. "Or are you just saying that so I don't feel bad?"

Caleb smiles at her before stealing a peck from her lips. "They are the best cookies I've ever tried. I'm not lying. Why would I? You'll try them yourself anyway… They've just become my favorite cookies."

Hanna's face lights up with the biggest smile. "Really, your favorite?"

Caleb nods. "My favorite cookies." He takes the cookie to her mouth so she can try it too.

But Hanna turns a little to take an old notebook from the kitchen countertop behind her.

Hanna "Here." She says, opening it to a marked page and showing it to him. "I followed your grandma's recipe. Look at the name of it…"

Caleb takes a look and reads the handwritten title above the recipe. It says 'Henry's favorite cookies.' His facial expression suddenly turns plain as his smile disappears.

Caleb "Oh…" is all he manages to say.

Hanna "I'm sorry, I…" She starts, after staring at him for a moment, while placing the notebook back on the countertop. "I shouldn't have… uh…" She struggles to find the right words as she looks up at him again.

But her eyes meet his smile once more. It's back on his face.

Caleb "You just took me by surprise, baby." He says, taking another bite of the cookie. "Thanks for baking these for me." He reassures her, rubbing his other hand on her lower back.

Hanna wraps her arms around his neck and hugs him. "I just wanted you to taste your grandpa's favorite cookies, and I thought it would be nice for me to bake them for you, like your grandma did for him. I wasn't sure I'd manage to recreate them properly, or even get them to taste decent. That's why I waited until you tasted them to tell you the truth. I wasn't going to otherwise." She confesses before placing a tender kiss on his neck.

Caleb smiles, wrapping his arm around her lower back to hold her tighter. "I'm sure they taste exactly as they're supposed to, Han. They're just delicious, I'm not kidding."

Hanna pulls slightly back to look at him. "Give me a bite, I want to taste them."

Caleb smiles again and takes his cookie to her mouth.

Hanna finally takes a bite. She smiles as she chews. She followed Caleb's grandmother's recipe to a T, and there they are: Henry's, and now Caleb's, favorite cookies.

/

Later on.

Hanna chuckles. "Seems like Hallie loved the cookies too." She says while taking Caleb's hand and placing it on her baby bump for him to feel the baby's movements.

They are cuddled together on the couch, Hanna's back comfortably resting against Caleb's chest, his arm wrapped around her shoulders. Her legs are stretched out along the length of the couch, resting between Caleb's. Chocolate is curled up at their feet, occasionally lifting his head to look at them before settling back down with a sigh or a yawn.

Caleb grins as he feels his little baby girl kick. "She's really active tonight. Must be all that sugar." He says, giving Hanna a gentle squeeze.

Hanna agrees, feeling the baby under her palm too. "Yeah…"

Caleb's phone buzzes next to him, so he picks it up and starts typing on it.

Hanna looks over. "I think I'll skip dinner tonight, baby. I ate too many cookies, I'm not hungry. You eat whenever you want."

Caleb chuckles, leaving his phone on the couch again. "I ate more cookies than you, babe. I'm full too."

Hanna smiles, pleased that he really loved her cookies. Well, his grandmother's, actually.

Caleb "Just let me know if you get hungry later, and I can make some eggs or something."

Hanna nods.

Caleb's phone buzzes again, so he picks it up once more.

Hanna "It's okay if you want to go out or make plans with your friends, babe. It's Friday, and you've been stuck with me all these weeks… go have fun. I'm feeling fine."

Caleb shakes his head. "No, it's okay." He says, typing again. "It's just Jason looking for someone to go out for beers with. Toby already told him Finn's got a fever, and I told him I wasn't up for it either, so he's making fun of us. He says he's having a beer for each of us while we're busy playing house… and well, other dirty jokes I'm not telling you." He explains, setting his phone aside again.

Hanna turns slightly to look at him. "Go for a beer with Jason, baby." She insists, taking his hand and intertwining their fingers together. "Go now while you still can."

Caleb "Nah, I'll stay here. I'm tired from work, it's cold outside, and I want to stay right here with my girls and Chocolate." He places their joined hands back on Hanna's belly. "So stop trying to get rid of me and tell me more about your day. What did you do today besides baking the most delicious cookies on earth?"

Hanna smiles, resting her head back against his shoulder. "Not much… Chocolate and I napped a lot… I also checked out some of the fashion magazines that covered the fashion show. Can I make you a list of them so you can get me some copies to keep?"

Caleb "Sure, baby."

Hanna "Thanks." She kisses his hand tenderly and then rests them back on her belly. "I also finished reading Claudia's journal this afternoon…"

Caleb "Oh, you did? And? Did you find something out?"

Hanna shakes her head. "Not really. It's just a teen's journal. She mostly wrote in it when she was upset, and it seems like she wasn't a fan of writing, she only did it every so often. But she mentions her two best friends many times, so I looked back at one of her yearbooks and wrote down their full names. I was thinking we might look for them and ask if they know something? Maybe one of them is still in Rosewood or at least close by…"

Caleb sighs. "I don't know, Han… I don't want this to turn into a big search. That wasn't my intention. I just wanted us to check the boxes and see if we could find something out there. But for now, I just want to focus on us and Hallie."

Hanna nods, understanding. "Okay… I also found a little thing, it might not mean anything, but on the margin of one of the pages of the journal was a heart that said 'JC' inside… It could be just a teen thing, a crush of the moment, or something like that, but… it's an initial, a letter 'J'."

Caleb "Uh huh."

There's a pause, and then Hanna decides to change the subject.

Hanna "I can't believe Hallie is arriving in just a week… It's so crazy…"

Caleb smiles. "Yeah, I can't believe it either. How are you feeling about it?"

Hanna sighs. "Anxious mostly, to be honest… I think that's why my inspiration vanished completely. I was just too distracted thinking about Hallie's arrival to come up with a new design today. Realizing it's just one week got me thinking a lot. I can't wait to meet her, but… it's so scary too… What about you?"

Caleb "Exactly the same as you, Han… but we need to stay calm and enjoy this process. Today was my last day at the office, so… we've got the entire next week to ourselves, to be calm, together, just waiting…"

Hanna smiles. "Yeah… we've got the last appointment this Monday and then it'll be just waiting until this tiny girl decides to join us out here." She places her other hand on her baby bump too.

Caleb grins. "Yay, and I'll finally get the Haleb baby you got me for my birthday!" He jokes. "About time!" He adds, amused, causing Hanna to giggle as well. "My Haleb baby girl."

Hanna "You can't complain about getting your present a bit late. It's the most handmade present ever." She says, still chuckling. "Fully made with love."

Caleb's eyes twinkle with mischief. "Handmade? I'm pretty sure we didn't make this baby just with our hands…"

Hanna bursts into laughter. "Caleb!"

Caleb joins her laughter, and Chocolate lifts his head to look at them.

Next day. Saturday.

In the afternoon, Caleb gets back home with a pile of different fashion magazines and leaves them on the dining table.

Hanna has been sleeping since mid-morning. She had a terrible night's sleep due to heartburn, spending most of the night sitting up in bed. The antacid Caleb got her wasn't enough to make her feel better, and she regretted eating all those cookies.

Caleb then heads upstairs to get Chocolate, intending to take him out for a walk. Being super careful not to make any noise, he slowly opens the door and walks into their bedroom. To his surprise, Hanna is awake, using her phone.

Caleb "Hey! You're up!" He says, walking over and sitting down on the edge of the bed next to her. "How are you feeling?"

Hanna "Much better, I just needed some sleep." She replies, setting her phone aside.

Caleb "Are you hungry now? Feeling okay to eat?" He asks, taking her hand, since she hasn't eaten anything since the previous day.

Hanna nods, caressing his hand. "Yeah, I'm actually hungry now."

Caleb smiles. "How about I make you some scrambled eggs with toast?" He suggests, offering a quick option that he can prepare in a few minutes.

Hanna "Sounds perfect."

Caleb "Wanna get up, or stay in bed?"

Hanna "I think I'll stay in bed a little longer." She says, letting go of his hand and turning to Chocolate, who is lying next to her. She rests her head on his back and wraps her arm around him, snuggling into him. "I still feel a bit tired." She explains.

Caleb "Okay, I'll be right back with your eggs." He says, standing up from the bed. "I got you the magazines you asked for. Want me to bring them up?"

Hanna grins. "Yes, please."

Caleb leans over and kisses her temple. "Be right back with everything."

/

Hanna doesn't get out of bed until a few hours later. When she finally does, she throws on one of Caleb's hoodies, slides her feet into her fluffy slippers, and leaves the bedroom. Chocolate follows her and accompanies her slow descent down the stairs. It's raining cats and dogs outside, and she finds Caleb in the middle of a phone call while staring out the sliding doors that lead to the backyard. Since his back is to Hanna, he remains unaware of her presence.

Caleb "Well, I'm glad to hear Finnie's feeling much better. I won't make it tonight, though. Han had a bad night and she's been in bed all day. I can't just leave… Yeah, I know, bud. But you get it more than anyone… Uh huh, sure!... Thanks, see y-"

Just as he's about to finish the call, Hanna snatches his phone from his hand and brings it to her ear.

Hanna "Hey, Tob! How are you doing? Please, forget what Caleb just said. He's still in for whatever you've planned for tonight… Yes, I'm feeling well, thanks for asking. So, Finnie's feeling better too? Poor baby, I'm glad he's doing better… What about my other cute little nephew? How's he doing? I want to see them… You and Spence need to come over one of these days. It can't be that you're right next door and I haven't seen you for almost two weeks…" She chuckles at something Toby says. "Yeah, you're totally right… Okay, Tobs, nice to hear from you. See you around… Bye."

She ends the call and looks up at Caleb, whose eyes have been on her the entire time since she grabbed his phone.

Hanna "Here." She says, handing his phone back like nothing happened.

Caleb "Why did you do that?" He asks, taking his phone back.

Hanna "I just didn't want you bailing on your friends again because of me." She replies, wrapping her arms around his waist. "You deserve a night out."

Caleb sighs, placing his hands on her shoulders. "Han, you know I'd rather be here with you."

Hanna "And I love you for that." She says, smiling up at him. "But it's okay for you to go out and have some fun. I'll be fine. I feel much better now."

Caleb brushes a strand of hair from her face. "Are you sure?"

Hanna "Yes, I'm sure." She insists. "Besides, you'll be just a call away if I need you."

Caleb looks into her eyes for a moment, then nods. "Alright, I'll be right next door at Toby's anyway. We're just getting together there with Jason because Spencer has some dinner party and she's taking the baby with her, but Toby needs to stay home with Finn. I'll be close by if you need me, and won't stay late."

Hanna nods with a smile before giving him a peck on the lips. "Now go get ready."

Caleb hesitates for a second, then leans down to kiss her forehead. "Okay. Just let me finish a few things first."

Hanna watches him as he walks away, feeling a mix of gratitude and love for the man who always puts her first.

/

Caleb comes back downstairs ready to leave and heads over to the couch where Hanna is lying with Chocolate.

Hanna grins as he approaches. "Wow, looking handsome as ever! You're lucky the only girl at Toby's will be Cookie, or else I wouldn't let you go."

Caleb chuckles and sits down on the edge of the couch. "Promise you'll call me if you need anything."

Hanna "I promise." She smiles. "Don't worry, though. I won't be alone. Aria is coming over, and we're ordering dinner. Ezra is in Philly, so she's alone with Dante."

Caleb looks relieved and less guilty about leaving. "Great!" He gently pulls up the hoodie Hanna is wearing, along with the t-shirt underneath, and leans forward to place a tender kiss on her baby bump. "See you later, Hallie."

He stands up again, ready to leave.

Hanna "Hey! I want a kiss too!" She calls out playfully.

Caleb smiles and leans forward to kiss her lips, a very romantic kiss by the way, before heading out.

/

Hanna "Ough… they canceled our order again…" She tells Aria while checking the food delivery app on her phone.

They are sitting on the couch.

Aria sighs. "Must be because of the rain. It's crazy out there." She responds while lovingly caressing her kid's hair, who is sitting on her lap. "I almost canceled on you." She confesses with a chuckle.

Hanna smiles. "Do you mind just eating pizza? We have one in the fridge…"

Dante's eyes light up. "Pizza!" he says excitedly, causing his mom and Hanna to laugh.

Hanna grins. "Okay, pizza it is, my cutest little angel." She places a tender kiss on the boy's cheek before standing up.

/

Hanna takes a sip of water and looks over at Aria. "I thought Ezra would be back for the weekend."

They are sitting at the table. The pizza is in the oven, and Dante is sitting on the floor, quietly playing with his toys under Chocolate's watchful eye. The dog is more used to having Finn over, who is always up to play with him, unlike Dante.

Aria sighs. "Yeah, me too…" She sounds a bit disappointed.

Hanna lowers her voice mindful of Dante. "Are you guys doing okay?"

Aria nods slowly. "Yeah… just… We've been a bit out of sync lately, you know? Somewhat disconnected… I guess it's normal when you're busy with work and a little one who won't sleep in his own bed… We just need to make some time for us… to reconnect intimately."

Hanna "How long?" She whispers.

Aria purses her lips before answering. "Like two months…"

Hanna's eyes widen. "Oh my god, you really need to get to it."

Aria chuckles softly. "It's not just sex anyway. I'd settle for a good kiss at this point… one of those that leaves you wanting to bite his lip and pull him even closer... and well yes, have sex. I need it."

Hanna laughs. "I'd love to watch Dante so you guys can go on a date or something, but… I'm kind of busy right now." She smiles, rubbing her belly.

Aria smiles back. "I already asked my mom to watch him on Sunday night. I'm planning a little surprise for Ezra…" She grins mischievously.

Hanna laughs. "Well, I hope you guys enjoy yourselves all night long then."

Aria "It will be only a couple of hours, though… Dante's been stickier than ever lately. I can't leave him for the entire night."

Hanna's eyes twinkle with curiosity. "Oh… why so? Are you by chance…?" She smiles suggestively.

Aria chuckles. "Shouldn't we have sex for that?"

Hanna laughs. "Right."

Just then, the lights go out. Dante's startled whimper is heard as Hanna reaches for her phone to use as a flashlight.

Hanna groans. "Great, a blackout."

Aria "At least we have dinner almost ready." She tries to lighten the mood while picking Dante up to comfort him. "Do you have any candles?"

Hanna nods. "Yeah, I'll grab them." She says, heading to the pantry.

Aria soothes her son. "It's okay, baby. Auntie Hanna is lighting some candles so we can see. Like a birthday party! But we can't blow them out until the power comes back."

Dante nods, sniffling but a bit reassured.

/

Aria takes another bite of her pizza slice before speaking. "So, I remember you mentioned some... 'intimate' issues yourself last time we talked on the phone. Did you guys manage to work through them?" She asks, choosing her words carefully since her son is nearby.

Hanna "Sort of. I mean, the doctor said we can't do it after I almost gave birth, so it's not really up to us anymore. But honestly, I don't have the energy or feel comfortable enough most of the time anyway. I don't even think about it. And Caleb's been really understanding... I did have this huge urge to just rip his clothes off and have my way with him when he took me to that fashion show in New York last weekend, but I held back. I did something for him instead. He deserved it." She smiles, clearly in love.

Aria smiles back. "How was the fashion show?" She asks, taking advantage of the opportunity since they've only talked about it briefly in their group chat.

Hanna grins. "It was just awesome, Ari!" She says excitedly.

They continue to have dinner under the candlelight as Hanna fills Aria in on the details of the fashion show. Dante munches on his pizza bites while playing with a toy car, and Chocolate naps under the table.

As the minutes pass, the rain outside intensifies, turning into a storm with lightning and thunder rumbling in the distance, even startling Chocolate awake.

Hanna glances out the window. "Oh, it's getting crazy out there!" She says after a particularly loud thunderclap startles her. "It's okay, baby." She reassures Chocolate, who is now standing next to her.

Aria stands up, starting to clear the table. "I'll have to wait until the storm calms down a bit before leaving.".

Hanna stands up to help. "Of course, stay as long as you need. Dantie can try Hallie's crib for the first time."

Aria chuckles. "I'll give you a thousand dollars if you can get him to sleep in that crib on his own."

Hanna chuckles too.

Aria stops her from grabbing the plates. "Don't, Han. You should go rest on the couch. You shouldn't be up this long. I'll take care of this, okay?"

Just then, Caleb walks in, soaked from the rain. "Hey, guys!"

Hanna looks up, surprised. "Hi, baby! I didn't hear you come in with this storm... What are you doing here? You're soaking wet!"

Caleb wipes some water off his face. "I came to get you all. Grab your things. We're staying in Spencer and Toby's basement until the storm calms down."

Hanna and Aria exchange confused looks.

Caleb "They're sending alerts about very strong winds. Toby says we can stay there."

Aria chuckles, shaking her head. "They always send those alerts. This is Rosewood, nothing ever happens here."

Hanna "We should go just in case, Ari. Better safe than sorry." She says, looking a bit nervous.

Aria nods. "Alright, let's go. I feel like I haven't seen Toby in years. It'll be nice to catch up."

Caleb looks at Hanna's feet and notices she's wearing her slippers. "I'll get you some shoes. Need anything else from upstairs?" He asks, gently placing a hand on her shoulder

Hanna smiles warmly at him. "Just dry clothes for yourself."

Caleb smiles back and heads upstairs to get what they need.

/

Hanna, Aria, Dante, Chocolate, and Caleb make their way down to Spencer and Toby's basement. It's a cozy space, even if it isn't as tidy or beautifully decorated as the rest of the house. There are a couple of old couches in the center, a coffee table, some mattresses leaning against one wall, a mini fridge with a coffee machine, and some plastic containers neatly stacked on one side. The only light comes from a lantern placed on the coffee table.

Hanna "Hey, Jay!"

Aria "Hey there!"

They both greet Jason warmly as they close their umbrellas. Jason nods back briefly before turning his gaze to Caleb.

Jason "Thank God you're back! I can't get this kid to stop crying. I even gave him a twenty, but he scammed me. Kept the twenty and still won't stop crying."

Caleb "He's just scared, man. He's a little kid, not a teenager you can bribe with money." He takes Finn, who's still clutching the twenty-dollar bill, from Jason's arms.

Hanna "Where's Toby?" She asks Caleb, gently rubbing Finn's back as the boy wraps his arms around Caleb's neck.

Caleb "He went out to get Spencer. He was worried."

Hanna nods, then turns her gaze to Finn. "It's okay, baby. Your daddy will be back soon with your mommy and Liam. Uncle Caleb and I will take care of you until then, okay?" She speaks warmly to the unsettled child.

Finn reaches out to her.

Hanna "Oh, I can't hold you, baby." She gives him a tender kiss on the cheek instead.

Caleb "Go sit down on the couch, Han. You've been up too long."

Hanna nods and goes to sit on the couch. Caleb puts Finn down next to her, and the little boy clings to Hanna immediately.

Caleb "I'll go change my clothes." He tells Hanna before heading into the little bathroom in the basement, carrying a bag he packed back home.

Aria sits down next to Hanna, holding Dante in her arms. "Thank God you convinced me to come here. It was crazy out there. It's so much better down here."

Hanna "Yeah… It probably won't be more than just a huge storm, but we'll be okay here with the guys."

Jason takes a seat on the other couch. "Those two get along really well, huh?" He comments, watching Chocolate and Cookie playing together.

Hanna smiles, watching the dogs play too. "She's a little bundle of energy. Chocolate was so scared just a moment ago."

Jason "Well, we might get some chocolate chip cookies soon…" He jokes.

Hanna laughs. "You're such an idiot. Chocolate is neutered anyway. Besides, they're just playing like pups."

Jason "Yeah, until Chocolate starts humping Cookie."

Aria "Jason! The kids!"

Jason chuckles. "They don't get it anyway. Chill, mini snuggle bug."

Aria rolls her eyes. "Don't call me that."

Jason chuckles again.

Hanna sighs. "I really need to pee." She suddenly says. "Hey, baby, do you mind staying with auntie Aria for a minute? I need to pee."

Finn lets go of Hanna and moves closer to Aria, who wraps her arm around him, holding him against her side.

Hanna stands up, walks over to the bathroom door, and knocks. "Babe, it's me. I need to pee."

Caleb opens the door for her.

Hanna steps into the bathroom, closing the door behind her. Caleb is halfway through changing, his shirt off, revealing his toned muscles.

Hanna "Wow, didn't realize I was stepping into a strip-tease show." She teases, her eyes lingering on his chest.

Caleb grins, flexing his muscles playfully.

Hanna chuckles, sitting down on the toilet. "You're doing a great job. Keep going."

Caleb "Oh, so going out in the middle of the storm to get you wasn't enough? Now I'm supposed to entertain you too?"

Hanna laughs. "Hey, you're the one who decided to strip down in front of me."

Caleb raises an eyebrow, his grin widening. "You're the one who walked in while I was changing."

Hanna "What can I say? I can't resist you." She jokes.

Caleb chuckles. "Is that so? Maybe I should put on a show then."

Hanna's eyes twinkle with amusement. "Oh, please do."

Caleb starts to slowly pull on his dry shirt, making a show of it, flexing his abs as he does.

Hanna "You know, if I wasn't so pregnant and needing to pee right now, I'd—"

Caleb interrupts, leaning closer with a mischievous glint in his eyes. "You'd what?"

Hanna smiles, leaning forward a bit. "I'd pull you right here and show you just how much I appreciate your little show."

Caleb chuckles, reaching out to brush a strand of hair from her face. "Hold that thought. Just a few more weeks."

Hanna sighs playfully. "You're such a tease."

Caleb "Right back at you, Han." He says, giving her a quick kiss on the lips. "Now, finish up and let's get back out there before they start wondering what we're up to."

Hanna "Fine, but only because I have no other choice."

Caleb laughs, pulling on his shirt completely. "I'd love to find out what you'd do to me if you did have a choice."

Hanna grins, flushing the toilet and standing up. "You'll find out as soon as I do."

Caleb lets out a deep breath, this little banter and sexy talk with Hanna already turning him on.

As she washes her hands, he wraps an arm around her waist, pulling her close for one more kiss. "You know, you're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen."

Hanna smiles up at him. "And you're the most handsome. Now, let's get back out there before they come knocking."

Caleb nods, giving her a final peck on the cheek before they step out of the bathroom, both smiling and feeling a bit more connected.

Hanna "Forget what I said earlier." She whispers to Aria while sitting down next to her again. Finn immediately snuggles to her side once more.

Aria looks at her confused.

Hanna "About not thinking about sex anymore. I'm horny as hell right now." She confesses in a very low voice, mindful of the kids, but also Caleb and Jason.

Aria laughs. "I won't even ask what happened in that bathroom."

Hanna "It's more about what didn't happen…"

Aria laughs again.

Jason "What's so funny, mini snuggle bug?" He teases her again.

Aria tosses a cushion at him. "Stop calling me that already!"

Jason shoots her an amused smile.

Caleb "I'm trying to text Toby, but it won't go through." He says, sitting down on the armrest next to Hanna, resting his arm on her shoulders.

Hanna "Maybe there's no service. I was texting with my mom and she stopped replying too. Thank god I already know she's okay at home."

Aria "Ezra didn't text me back, but there's no storm in Philly. I looked it up. I just let him know Dante and I are safe here."

Hanna "Are you okay, Finnie? You can tell me if you need to use the bathroom, or if you are thirsty, or hungry… cold… or whatever, okay?" She gently reassures him while caressing his hair.

Finn "I want mommy." He says softly.

Hanna "I know, baby. She'll be here soon." She caresses his cheek. "Want some juice?"

Finn shakes his head.

Jason "The little dude might not be thirsty, but I am." He stands up and gets a couple of beer cans from the mini fridge. Even though the power is still out, it keeps the beer cold for now.

After handing one to Caleb, he cracks open the other and takes a few sips. Then, he approaches Aria and hands it over to her.

Jason "Want some…, Aria?" He feigns hesitation but finally calls her by her name.

Aria rolls her eyes but accepts the beer anyway. She takes a few sips and then hands it back to Jason.

Jason "So, what are we doing now? In the middle of a freaking storm, during a blackout, stuck with two dogs, two kids, and two ladies?" He asks Caleb while sitting down on the other couch again.

Caleb "I don't know, man. I think we should just enjoy the peace and quiet." He answers, sipping his beer while massaging the back of Hanna's neck with his free hand.

Jason "You are becoming so boring and lame, bud. 'Enjoy the peace and quiet,' you're sounding like a grandpa. I'm taking you out with me more often. You really need to hit some bars. Do you need to ask for permission first?" He teases his friend and gazes at Hanna.

Hanna "I've got no problem with that, as long as he gets back home safe and sound." She leans to the side and hugs Caleb's leg with her arm, resting her head on it too. "I love it when he gets home late at night, and I'm already sleeping, and he gets in bed, and-"

Aria "Hey! The kids, remember?"

Hanna chuckles. "I was just going to say that I love it when he holds me. You're the dirty-minded one here, Ari."

Jason "What's up, mini snuggle bug? Can't-"

Aria cuts him off. "Stop calling me that, you asshole!" She says, clearly annoyed.

Finn, being a bit older than Dante, catches the 'ugly' word and looks up at Aria right away.

Hanna "It's okay, Finnie. Aria just made a mistake." She says softly to the kid. "She won't say that again because it's not nice."

Finn giggles a little and settles back against Hanna's side.

Jason "Okay, I'm sorry. I was just messing with you."

There's a moment of very uncomfortable silence until Caleb speaks again.

Caleb "How about we play a game instead? How about charades?" He suggests, even though he hates playing charades, but it's the first thing that came to his mind to cut off the awkwardness.

Aria "Charades? Really?"

Jason "Got any board games down here?"

Hanna "I think Spencer has a few… upstairs…"

Caleb stands up right away. "I'll go get them."

Hanna "No, stay here…" She reaches out for Caleb's arm and pulls him back. "Spencer's only got boring games like Scrabble anyway. And there's no way we are playing that. She'll get here soon, see us playing, and want to join in. Believe me, you don't want to get stuck in a basement with Toby and Spencer playing Scrabble. They get super intense and competitive."

Caleb chuckles, sitting back on the armrest. "Okay."

Hanna "But seriously, a game sounds good. How about we play a few rounds of 'Would You Rather'?"

Jason "Alright, I'll start. Would you rather be stuck in a storm with us or stuck in a storm with a pack of wolves?"

Caleb laughs. "Tough choice. But I think I'd go with the wolves... at least there would be way less tension." He jokes about the awkward exchange between Aria and Jason moments ago.

Hanna chuckles. "I'd take the wolves too."

Aria "Me three." She says, clearly not very engaged.

Caleb "Alright, my turn. Would you rather have the ability to talk to animals or the ability to read minds?"

Hanna "Talk to animals. Chocolate and Cookie would be so much fun to chat with."

Aria "Definitely talk to animals. I don't want to know what people are really thinking."

Jason "I'd go with reading minds. Imagine the advantage in poker."

Caleb chuckles. "We'd finally beat Spencer and Toby." He says, since Jason has become his poker partner while playing against the most competitive couple in the country. "Alright, one more round, then maybe we can think of another game…" He suggests, as it's pretty clear that playing that game isn't going so great.

Hanna "Would you rather be caught in a blackout with us again or spend a week without your phone?"

Aria "A week without my phone, definitely." It's evident that Aria isn't in her best mood.

Jason "Same here."

Hanna "You, babe?"

Caleb "The blackout, but only with you." He grins.

Hanna grins too. "Oh! You are the cutest." She tilts her head up, asking for a kiss.

Caleb happily leans forward and meets her lips.

Jason. "Ugh, I'd give you my phone right this moment if it meant I could leave for home already. You two are so sickeningly cheesy."

Hanna chuckles against Caleb's lips.

Jason "Alright, my turn again. Would you rather have an embarrassing secret revealed or go without sex for months?"

Aria "Embarrassing secret, hands down."

Hanna "Same here."

Caleb "Yeah, embarrassing secret for sure."

Jason smirks. "Interesting choice, Caleb. Seems like you're already living the other option."

Caleb laughs, while Hanna's smile fades a bit as she glances at Jason, clearly not amused.

Jason quickly moves on, not noticing or caring about Hanna's reaction. "Alright, anyone up for a different game?"

Luckily for them, Toby and Spencer don't take too long to come back.

Finn climbs off the couch and rushes to them as soon as he sees them coming down the stairs.

Spencer "Hi, guys!"

Finn "Mommy, mommy!" He says, reaching the bottom of the stairs.

Spencer grins. "Hi, my sweetest boy!" She greets him while descending the last steps. "Did you miss me?" She picks him up.

Finn nods, hugging her neck tightly.

Spencer "Missed you too, Finnie."

Toby "Hi, everyone!" He greets the group, coming right behind Spencer, carrying little Liam in his baby car seat. "Is that a twenty?" He asks, intrigued, gazing at Finn's fist.

Caleb "Yeah, don't ask…"

Hanna "Hi, guys!"

Aria "Hey! I'm glad you made it back okay."

Spencer "Yeah, it's a terrible storm. We just made it back in time. It's even worse now."

Hanna "Oh, really?" She asks, worried.

Toby approaches Caleb. "I've got some bad news for you, buddy…" He says, putting Liam's seat down on the floor.

Hanna is staring at the newborn baby with a smile, but she looks up at Toby when she hears the words 'bad news.'

Toby "I'm sorry, man, but… your car is totally messed up. The old tree in front of your house fell right on it. It smashed the windshield and crushed the roof." He pulls out his phone to show Caleb a couple of pictures he took.

Caleb runs his hand through his hair while looking at the photos.

Hanna stands up and wraps her arms around his, looking over his shoulder as well. "I'm sorry, baby." She presses a kiss to his shoulder, he's always been so careful with his car.

Caleb sighs. "It's okay, it's just a car. I can get another one… and I'm sure the insurance will cover it. I'm just a bit pissed at myself for not having parked it in our driveway, but it's okay."

Hanna looks at him, a bit sad herself. "Are you sure?"

Caleb "Yeah, I don't care. At least we are all safe and sound down here."

Hanna smiles sympathetically at him and kisses his cheek.

/

Later on.

Spencer "Well, I brought blankets and snacks. Let's make ourselves comfortable." She says, coming downstairs again.

Toby "And I've got some extra pillows and a couple of board games. Not Scrabble, I promise." He winks at Hanna, following Spencer.

Finn, now relaxed, sits down with Dante, and they start playing with some toys.

Caleb "Thanks, Toby. Let's set up the mattresses and get cozy."

Everyone helps to set up the mattresses and blankets, creating a comfortable space in the basement. The kids giggle as they play, the dogs curl up together, and the adults settle in with snacks and drinks.

Aria "This actually feels kind of nice. Like a cozy little sleepover." She's wrapped in a blanket on the couch.

Hanna "Yeah, it's not so bad." She's sharing a single mattress with Caleb. He's resting his back against a pile of pillows, and Hanna is resting her back against his torso, both half sitting as he holds her from behind.

Caleb "And we've got plenty of snacks." He grins, taking a bite of a cookie.

Hanna "Is it as good as mine?" She whispers into Caleb's ear.

Caleb shakes his head. "Not even close." He places several kisses on her cheek. "Wanna try it anyway?"

Hanna "No, thanks… the last thing I need right now is heartburn…"

Jason "So, any ideas for entertainment that don't involve board games or kids' toys?" He asks from a different couch.

Spencer "How about we just talk? Share some funny or embarrassing stories?" She suggests from another mattress she's sharing with Toby.

Aria "I'm in. Who wants to start?"

Toby "Spencer, clearly. I'm one hundred percent sure she only suggested this because she wants to tell you guys about how I ended up having to take a shower at 3 a.m. yesterday."

Everyone turns their gaze to Spencer, who's already holding back a laugh.

Toby sighs. "Go ahead."

Spencer grins, very amused, before starting to tell the funny anecdote.

As Spencer finishes her tale, the group bursts into laughter. Toby adds in details, making everyone laugh even harder.

Spencer "Alright, someone else's turn. Who's got a good one?"

Caleb "I've got one, but it's a bit embarrassing."

Hanna "Oh, those are the best! Go on."

Caleb "You already know this one, Han."

Hanna "It doesn't matter, I still enjoy listening to your stories."

Caleb "Okay, so this one time, I was at the park, walking Chocolate..."

As Caleb tells his story, everyone listens intently, chuckling at his mishaps.

Meanwhile, Finn and Dante start to get sleepy. Spencer and Aria help them settle down, tucking them in together on another single mattress, with blankets and pillows.

The night continues with more stories and laughter, but everyone starts to get sleepy, just like the kids. Aria is the first to abandon the group conversation, hugging a pillow and settling in for the night. Jason eventually becomes quiet too, seeming lost in his own thoughts. Spencer and Toby start their own whispered conversation as she feeds Liam.

Hanna yawns and places her phone aside after confirming that there's still no service.

Caleb rests his chin on her shoulder. "Wanna go to sleep?"

Hanna sighs. "I'm a bit tired, but I'm not sure I'll be able to sleep… I didn't think we'd end up spending the night here, or I'd have grabbed my pregnancy pillow…"

Caleb "Spencer might have hers upstairs… I can ask Toby."

Hanna shakes her head and takes Caleb's hand, caressing his palm. "They're too cozy cuddling with their baby. I don't want to bother them."

Caleb "Okay… want to lie down at least? We can put one of these pillows under your belly…"

Hanna "Uh huh… that might work." She agrees, already sitting up.

Caleb removes one of the cushions and leaves one pillow for their heads, placing another one vertically at the height of Hanna's belly. "There you go."

Hanna settles in on her side, adjusting the pillow properly under her belly. "Come here." She extends her arm to Caleb.

Caleb lies down on his side, facing Hanna, and covers both their bodies with the blanket. She holds him close, resting her arm on his waist.

Caleb speaks softly. "So, what the hell is going on between Aria and Jason?"

Hanna, taking advantage of their close proximity, whispers back. "They dated for a couple of months some years ago when Aria and Ezra had that separation period that lasted a couple of years."

Caleb "Oh, really? Jason never mentioned it." He says, surprised.

Hanna shrugs. "Well, it wasn't a big deal… they only dated for a short time."

Caleb frowns. "But they've always hung out together without a problem. Why is there all this tension now?"

Hanna sighs. "Because your friend is being an ass, and you need to talk to him and set him straight. I think he's just acting differently tonight because Ezra isn't here, and that's not right. He's been calling Aria 'mini snuggle bug,' which I assume is what he called her when they dated, and that's so wrong. You need to talk to him."

Caleb lifts his head slightly to peer at Aria's couch, seeing Jason talking to her. "Well, I don't think that will be necessary. They're speaking on good terms now. I guess they're just working things out. Jason is a good guy. He just doesn't know when to stop joking sometimes, but he's good." He rests his head back on the pillow.

Hanna frowns. "Yeah, like that joke he made earlier, mocking you for not having sex…"

Caleb "He was just joking around, babe. It's his humor. It's the kind of jokes he makes when we hang out with the guys."

Hanna narrows her eyes. "But why is he even joking about it? Did you tell him? Do you talk about that kind of stuff with him?"

Caleb sighs and responds thoughtfully. "We talk about a lot of things, Han. Sometimes things slip out, but it's never serious. Don't you talk about it with your friends too?"

Hanna "Yeah, but my friends don't go around making jokes about sensitive topics in front of anyone."

Caleb "Well, I didn't tell Jason anything specific. The three of us, Toby, Jason, and I, always joke around about how different our lives are... Jason's always bragging about his freedom and his hookups. That's all, Han. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, and neither did Jason."

Hanna looks down, softening her tone. "I just don't like our personal life being a joke."

Caleb "I get that. I'll talk to him, okay? Make sure he understands that our inside jokes need to… stay inside."

Hanna nods and reaches with her hand to caress Caleb's hair. "I'm so sorry about your car… Are you sure you aren't a bit sad about it?"

Caleb "It's just a car… of course I wish it hadn't been crushed by a tree, but… there are more important things. Besides, I've been wanting to get a Jeep anyway… a black one." He smiles.

Hanna smiles back, still caressing his hair. "Well, you surely deserve one."

Caleb "Maybe some kisses could make me care even less about my messed-up car, you know?"

Hanna chuckles softly. She leans in closer, her breath warm against Caleb's skin. "I think I can manage that." She whispers.

She presses her lips gently against his, the kiss tender and full of emotion. Caleb responds, deepening the kiss as his hand moves to cup her cheek. They immerse in their own world.

Hanna's fingers weave into Caleb's hair, pulling him closer. Their kisses grow more passionate as they go on. Caleb's other hand slides around her waist.

After a few moments, a cushion lands right on Caleb's head and the side of Hanna's face, causing them to break apart.

Jason "Hey, save some for later, you two! Bad timing to get back into it while we're all stuck in a basement together."

Hanna turns around in Caleb's arms, facing away from him to look at Jason. For a moment, Caleb fears the worst, as Hanna didn't like Jason's joke earlier, and he hasn't had the chance to talk to him yet. He shuts his eyes, waiting to hear Hanna tell Jason to go to hell or something similar, but to his surprise...

Hanna smirks. "Jealous, Jason? Maybe if you had someone to kiss, you wouldn't be tossing pillows. What are you, fifteen?"

Jason grins. "Nah, just making sure you two remember there are other people in the room."

Spencer "Hey! There are also sleeping kids in the room, you two. Keep it down, or you'll have to put them back to sleep yourselves." She tells them off in a lower voice.

Hanna "I'm sorry, Spence." She whispers back.

Jason shoots her an apologetic smile before settling back down on his couch.

Caleb "I'm sorry about the jokes. I'll talk to him when I have the chance." He says softly, only for Hanna to hear, while wrapping his arm around her hips, placing his forearm underneath the side of her baby bump, trying to replace the pillow that was supporting her baby bump until she turned around a moment ago.

Hanna "It's okay, I get it. It's just your 'guy' humor… I don't mind. I guess I can play along with you guys."

Caleb chuckles. "I have to admit you throw better comebacks than I do…"

Hanna "Well, don't worry then. Your wifey has your back." She smiles, closing her eyes.

Caleb smiles and kisses her cheek. "Wanna turn back around and adjust the pillow under your belly?"

Hanna "No, my hip hurts a bit from being on that side. I'll stay on this side… Besides, your arms holding my belly feel good too."

Caleb smiles again. He removes the pillow between their bodies and adjusts both his arms around her, holding her better. He knows his lower arm will feel numb in a short while, but it will be nothing compared to Hanna's physical discomfort.

Hanna "Good night, baby."

Caleb "Night, badass wifey."

Hanna chuckles, placing her hand on his arm, ready to go to sleep now.

/

Hanna only sleeps for a little while before her bladder wakes her up. She gently removes Caleb's arms from her body and carefully sits up. She then takes a moment to figure out the best way to stand up from the old mattress on the floor, a tough task for a 39-week pregnant woman.

Toby notices her and quickly stands up from the mattress he's sharing with Spencer and their baby, approaching Hanna to help.

He supports her, wrapping his arms under hers to help her stand.

Toby "There you go." He whispers.

Hanna "Thanks, Tob! What are you doing still up? Can't sleep?" She whispers back.

Toby "Yeah, something like that… Liam just fell asleep two minutes ago. And you?"

Hanna "Just the usual pregnancy stuff. Can't seem to go more than an hour without needing to pee."

Toby chuckles softly. "Go hit the bathroom then."

Hanna "Yeah! Thanks again for the help." She heads for the bathroom.

Toby "Anytime, Han."

A few minutes later, when Hanna emerges from the bathroom, she finds Toby standing by the mini fridge. He's placed the lantern on top of it and is sipping water from a bottle.

Hanna "Aren't you going to go back to bed?" She asks softly.

Toby shakes his head while pulling the bottle away from his mouth. "I'm not sleepy… and Spencer and Liam took over the mattress." He smiles. "You?"

Hanna sighs. "I don't get much sleep at night lately…"

Toby "Yeah, and that old mattress didn't help at all, huh?"

Hanna smiles at him. "Yeah, well, it's not ideal to sleep with this…" She says, rubbing her baby bump. "But still, I'd probably be up if I was home anyway…"

Toby "You sure? I can kick Jason off that couch if you think it'd be better for you."

Hanna chuckles. "Nope, I'm okay. Leave Jason alone. He's sleeping like a baby, and he's way less annoying like that."

Toby chuckles too. "Want some water?" He offers the bottle to her.

Hanna shakes her head. "I'm okay, thanks."

Toby nods. They turn their gazes to their sleeping friends, and there's a moment of comfortable silence until Hanna speaks again.

Hanna "Can I ask you something?"

Toby "Sure!"

Hanna "Does Caleb ever speak to you about his family?" She asks, watching Caleb sleep peacefully from there.

Toby looks at her. "Not much, but we talk about Henry once in a while… why do you ask?"

Hanna "Oh, it's nothing." She simply answers.

Toby "He brought me a couple of pictures of Henry and I from one of our fishing trips the other day. He said you guys had been checking out some boxes…"

Hanna "Yeah, we did. He's always refused to even look in those boxes. He even told me to throw them away if I needed more space in the attic. But he changed his mind a couple of weeks ago and brought them all down for us to see if there were any answers in there, you know? Find out what was going on in Claudia's life back then, why she ended up giving him up for adoption… maybe a clue about who his father might be… but there was nothing. Only family memories that showed they were a happy family. I think it made him a bit sad. I offered to keep looking, maybe try to find any of Claudia's old friends from high school, but he doesn't want me to."

Toby nods. "He asked me about his family once, a long time ago. Henry and I used to talk a lot, but there were things even he wouldn't share. But yes, they were a happy family, at least from the outside, from what I could see as a neighbor. When Betty, Caleb's grandma, passed away, Henry was heartbroken. He loved his wife very much, that I can tell you for sure. I didn't know Claudia, though. She didn't live in Rosewood, she moved away for college and never came back… well, only for holidays. So I think I only saw her a couple of times when I was a kid. I don't even remember her. And then she passed away too, and Henry was never the same. He was just miserable after losing his daughter too, the poor man… he was so lonely. It wasn't until he told me about Caleb's existence that I saw the man smile again. I remember that day. He was so excited to have found his grandson…"

Hanna "And what did he tell you about Caleb? I mean… Did he tell you how he found out about him? Because he couldn't have just said, 'Hey, Toby! I just found out I had a grandson, we'll be three for our fishing trips now.'"

Toby "I'll tell you exactly what I told Caleb a couple of years ago, Han… I think Henry must have felt betrayed when Claudia told him about Caleb, and not only by her, but also by Betty, because she knew about Caleb too and never told him. She took that secret to her grave, and Claudia almost did too. If she hadn't told Henry about it, Caleb wouldn't be here now. Talking about what happened or the circumstances in which Caleb ended up given up for adoption wasn't easy for Henry. He only told me he found out he had a grandson, that he contacted him, and that he had finally accepted, after some months, to come meet him in Rosewood. He mentioned that his grandson was living in London for work, and that was all. I was happy for Henry, and I didn't ask questions because he asked me not to. And I just accepted it."

Hanna sighs. "So you just know the same as Caleb and I…"

Toby "Uh huh… I would have already told Caleb if I knew something else. And Caleb would have told you about it too. But the truth is, I know nothing, Han… Henry, Caleb, and I never got to go on a fishing trip the three of us. I only met Caleb after Henry passed. Sometimes I wish Caleb had allowed himself to get to know Henry better, to accept him more easily… but I get it wasn't easy for him. After that fight we had a couple of years ago, I finally got Caleb's point too."

Hanna nods. "Yeah, he was hurt too. He went through so much…" She says, her voice cracking a little as she gazes at Caleb again. She wipes one of her glassy eyes before a tear has the chance to roll down. "It's so unfair that Henry passed away so soon after meeting Caleb… well, the whole thing is unfair."

Toby "Yeah…" He agrees with her, wrapping his arm around her shoulders to hold her from the side. "But the twists and turns of life brought Caleb right where he belongs. And I'm glad you were here to catch him and keep him in Rosewood." He chuckles. "He's like a brother to me now, and he would have never stayed in this town if he hadn't fallen for you."

Hanna chuckles too, despite her eyes being full of tears.

Toby "Anyway, if he decides that he does want to keep looking for answers at some point, you just let me know. I still have my contacts back at the station. Tracking down Claudia's friends from high school will be really easy with their systems. They owe Caleb big time for helping with that investigation. They'll be happy to help."

Hanna "'That investigation'? You mean that time he almost got killed for helping you hack into that drug gang's computer? I think the police owe him way more than tracking down a couple of ladies…"

Toby "His life was never in danger that night, Hanna."

Hanna "Yes it was, are you kidding me?"

Toby "Are we seriously reliving that old fight from years ago?" He says playfully, squeezing her against his side.

Hanna sighs. "You're lucky I love you too much because I wouldn't have forgiven you otherwise."

Toby chuckles. "Love you too, Han." He rubs her arm gently.

/

Next morning.

Caleb slowly wakes up, still half-asleep with his eyes closed. He starts to get the strange sensation that he's being watched. When he finally opens his eyes, he finds Chocolate's huge head inches from his face, the dog's eyes attentively staring at him.

Caleb chuckles softly. "Hey, buddy… You need to pee, don't you?" He asks, closing his eyes again for a moment.

But his eyes suddenly snap open as he remembers where he is and realizes Hanna isn't beside him. He quickly gets up from the mattress on the floor and scans the room for her. Everyone else is still asleep. Dante has abandoned Finn and is now curled up with Aria on the couch. Then he spots Hanna. She's asleep too, but in the last place he'd expect, sitting on one of the steps of the stairs, leaning against a pillow propped on a higher step.

Caleb "Han!" He whispers, leaning in and gently shaking her shoulder.

Hanna opens her eyes and looks up at him.

Caleb "What are you doing here? Are you okay?"

Hanna "Yeah…" She yawns. "It was just too hard to get up from that mattress every time I needed to pee, and I couldn't sleep anyway." She explains softly. "I must have just fallen asleep…"

Caleb "Han… you should have woken me up, babe."

Hanna "It's okay, I didn't want to keep you up. You need your rest too… Besides, I didn't think I'd actually fall asleep here." She gives him a sleepy smile. "It was just way easier for me to stand up here." She adds, gesturing toward the handrails of the stairs.

Caleb "Come on, let's get you somewhere more comfortable. You can't stay here on the stairs."

Hanna "I want to go home."

Caleb nods and carefully helps Hanna stand, wrapping an arm around her waist to support her. "I'll go check upstairs and see if the storm's let up... Chocolate needs to go out anyway."

Hanna nods and reaches out to stroke Chocolate's head.

Jason, stirring from his spot on the couch, stands and approaches them. "Morning, guys…" He greets them with a sleepy voice. "Looks like the service is back." He waves his phone in the air. "Ali says they're all okay, and the storm's over, but the twins are upset because their playground in the backyard got wrecked. Gracie hasn't stopped crying." He yawns. "Sounds like a job for uncle Jason." He adds, pulling on his jacket.

Hanna smiles at him. "Look at you, turning out to be a sweetie after all. Running to the rescue to fix your little nieces' swings…" She teases him.

Jason "Who said I'd fix them myself? I'm just gonna stop by the toy store."

Hanna "That's still very sweet of you."

Caleb "I'll come up with you. This buddy needs to go out." He tells Jason while clipping the leash onto Chocolate. "Go sit on the couch, Han. I'll be right back to get you."

Hanna nods.

As Caleb and Jason head out, Hanna moves to sit on the couch where Jason slept. She smiles to herself as she watches Finn get up from his bed and rush over to the mattress where his parents are still asleep with little Liam. He throws himself on top of Toby with a big grin.

Toby "Hey, buddy!" He smiles, still with his eyes closed, as he hugs his son.

/

Later on.

Hanna, Caleb, and Chocolate make their way upstairs to Spencer and Toby's kitchen after saying goodbye to Aria, Spencer and the kids. They head to the living room, where Toby is sweeping up pieces of broken glass from a large window shattered by the storm.

Caleb "Need a hand, bud?"

Toby "Nah, I've got it. I'll cover the window with some cardboard and get the glass replaced on Monday."

Caleb "Did you check the rest of the house?"

Toby "Everything else is fine. You guys should head home, Han needs some rest."

Hanna shoots Toby a grateful smile.

Caleb "See you around, Toby."

Toby nods.

Hanna "Bye, Tobs! Thanks for the sleepover." She jokes as they head to the front door.

Toby "Anytime… I hope your place is okay. Let me know if you need anything."

Caleb "Will do, thanks, man."

As soon as they step outside, Hanna spots Caleb's smashed car in front of their house, the old tree still lying on top of it. The car is totaled. Caleb notices her gaze lingering on the wreck.

Caleb "It's okay, Han. It's just a car." He wraps an arm around her shoulders, holding Chocolate's leash with his other hand.

Hanna "Yeah, I know… but still…" She says softly as they walk to their front door. "We made so many memories in that car…"

Caleb smiles. "Don't worry, we'll make plenty of new memories in the backseat of my new car too."

Hanna rolls her eyes. "Not everything has to be about sex, you know?"

Caleb "I was just kidding, babe."

Hanna looks around their street now. "It doesn't look as bad as I thought it would… The way the wind and thunder were last night, I was expecting a disaster out here."

Caleb nods in agreement. Besides the tree crushing his car, another tree has fallen and is blocking the sidewalk a couple of houses down, there's a broken bicycle in the street, and some scattered clothes, toys, and other objects from nearby yards. But overall, the damage isn't as bad as they feared.

Caleb releases Hanna to pull out his keys from his pocket.

Hanna "I hope everything's okay inside…" She says, sounding a bit worried as Caleb opens the door.

Caleb "I'm sure it's fine, Han."

They step inside, and Caleb is about to unleash Chocolate, but Hanna stops him.

Hanna "Let's check the house first. I don't want him stepping on glass if any windows are broken."

Caleb nods and keeps Chocolate on the leash. They start checking the ground floor. Some water has leaked in through the front windows, leaving a couple of puddles on the floor. When they reach the kitchen area, they find the sliding doors broken. It looks like the wind blew them open, letting in dirt and leaves. The floor is muddy, and there's broken glass scattered around.

Caleb "It's okay… Just take Chocolate upstairs, and I'll clean this up."

Hanna approaches the broken doors and looks out at the backyard. "Our backyard's a mess too…"

Caleb decides to stay with Chocolate so the dog doesn't get hurt by the glass.

Hanna "One of our lounges is in the pool… Actually, all the furniture's out of place and completely ruined. And I'm pretty sure that lawn mower on top of our broken table isn't even ours…" She walks back to Caleb.

Caleb "It's nothing, Han. We'll get new furniture, and I'll call someone to take care of the yard next week. It's all fixable." He reassures her, resting his arm over her shoulders. "Take Chocolate and get some rest upstairs, okay?" He presses a tender kiss to her temple before letting go. "Just call me if there's any problem in the bedroom, and I'll be up in a second." He hands her the dog's leash.

Hanna, completely exhausted after staying up almost all night, nods.

Caleb "Be careful on the stairs."

Hanna "I know." She responds dryly, raising her eyebrows.

Caleb "I love you."

Hanna "Yeah, I know that too." She says, walking away with Chocolate.

Caleb chuckles.
