This one comes from chapter 7. Seri orders Reisi to stay at base instead of allowing him into the city. Instead of listening, Reisi decides to sneak out.

Okay, he had managed to go into the city without anyone from SCEPTER 4 spotting him. He's amazed he didn't alert his Servant, but he's probably too busy doing tasks for the Blue Clan now that they're down one. But he'll probably give Reisi hell once he does realize his Master's missing. People around the man were chattering, going about their day as if the looming threat of the Holy Grail War doesn't exist. But why should they? If all goes right, they won't be involved.

Reisi made his first stop be a convenience store. He doesn't know when it happened, but he discovered before he snuck out that he's depleted his carton of Blue Sparks. Good thing, too. If Seri discovered him smoking while recovering from internal abdominal damage, he wouldn't hear the end of it from her. After he made his purchase, he left the store and was about to take out a cigarette. Then he thought differently. It might not be such a smart idea after all, even though the damage is located elsewhere in his body. It might conflict with the medicine Archer's having him take.

He shivered, hit with a feeling he's being watched. He looked around. All he saw were pedestrians milling around, minding their own business. Reisi wrote it off as his being overly paranoid and started walking to his next stop. He'll make it the library. There's a book there he's been wanting to read. Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he spotted a person wearing a black helmet with green lines. They waved to someone else somewhere behind Reisi. Then more of those similar people appeared, like a swarm of ants, pushing the pedestrians away. Leaving Reisi as the only person within several hundred meters. Before he could process what the hell just happened, fog snaked into the clearing that was made. It wrapped around Reisi and limited his sight to a few meters ahead.

"This is..!" He reacted in time to dodge a bullet fired at his head, though it grazed his left temple. "You must be here to finish what was started that night, Grey King!"

He couldn't see the man, but heard him clearly. "Look, kid, it isn't personal. Okay, it kinda is. I wouldn't be wanting you dead this much if your ideals weren't that."

"You really don't like me, huh?"

"I thought I already made that obvious!" This time, a bullet was fired seemingly behind him. From the voice, Reisi had though Tenkei was still in front of him. Flesh and muscle gave way as the bullet sunk into his left shoulder when he tried to evade. His right hand went to the wound and several giant spears of ice formed around the man, firing at where the bullet came from. It sounded like they only hit the building.

The pain from his wound slowed his reaction speed enough to where he barely was able to jump to the side to dodge a bullet fired two seconds later. It hit pavement, throwing up enough debris that the Blue King didn't see the older man burst from it and nail him in the stomach with the front of his gun then fired it. Reisi hit the ground on his hands and knees when the weapon was pulled back.

"You aren't putting up much of a fight. Is something dulling your thought process? Not that I care. Your dead either way." His gun was basically held to Reisi's head. "I won't ask if you have any last words. There isn't anything I care to hear from a bastard like -" Tenkei was abruptly cut off when his Servant shoved him out of the way, not enough to damage his body but enough so he cleared 50 meters. So he brought his Servant as well? Of course he did. He came here to fight a Master who probably had his Servant nearby. But Rider was ordered to stay back unless Archer shows himself.

A clang and an arrow fired at Mach 24 was deflected to the opposite end, exploding once it hit the pavement like from a collapsing skyscraper. That had been aimed at his Master's head and was meant to continue going outside the fog so it wouldn't harm Reisi.

'Master.'

'Archer?! What are you doing here?!'

'I had been watching you for a while now. My Independent Action prevents you from sensing my location when there's this much distance between us. Unfortunately, I'm currently around 8 km from you. I'll lecture you about sneaking out when you were told not to later. For now, summon me with your Command Seal.'

So he had been observing this fight from the beginning? It amazed Reisi that Archer's able to see all of this from 8 km away. So he's able to fire an arrow from there to here in an instant. But he's right. He won't make it on foot in time; his speed won't increase fast enough. This fog might be making aiming take longer than it should and who knows how long it takes him to prepare an arrow going that fast, that far? The three wings of Reisi's Command Seal glowed.

"Come, Ar -"

A bang and pain caused the words to catch in Reisi's throat. He had been shot in his hip by the Grey King, who had recovered and got back to his feet. Reisi grit his teeth and tried speaking the order again.

He hit the ground on his side and everything went red. His eyes drifted up and went wide. Rider was holding Reisi's right arm, severed at the elbow. When did he even swing his sword?! That was all the Blue King could think before unbearable agony overcame his senses and he could stop his scream from escaping his throat. He didn't hear the Grey King approach him and the muzzle of a gun pressed into his hair.

"Checkmate, kid." With that, the trigger was pulled.
