I'll be doing ones for Kaleidoscope now. This is if Ichigen doesn't get Medea to warm up to him enough.
"Kuroh, I thought you and Caster were going to have the house clean by the time I returned," Ichigen said as he stepped into the entrance of the house and removed his shoes. On a few places were small liquid stains.
Kuroh bowed in apology. "Forgive me, Master Ichigen, but before we could begin Caster locked herself in her room and refused to come out."
Ichigen sighed and straightened himself again. "She's been quite the uncooperative Servant. I don't know why, though."
"Could it have something to do with her past?"
"Perhaps. I think she was betrayed by someone? I'll need to read her legend again."
The lights in the house flickered and Caster's cackling filled the house even though she couldn't be seen, making both men instinctively tense up. "I'm afraid it's too late for that. Now that you're back, I can get to work."
"Woah!" Kuroh's shout made Ichigen turn to him. A Dragon Tooth Warrior had formed behind the teen and grabbed him. Before Ichigen could do anything, Kuroh smacked the back of his head against the golem's own, stunning it long enough to imbue himself with aura and break free. Then he quickly spun around and sliced it in half with his sword. Now the lights went out and another round of cackling began as purple mist covered the ground.
"Kuroh! We need to get out of here!" Ichigen shouted. More Dragon Tooth Warriors rose from the mist, all brandishing weapons and moving slowly to the two. Ichigen was trying his hardest to yank the door open, but it wouldn't budge. "What?!"
"Look out!" Kuroh had just blocked an axe from burying itself in the King's back. He pushed the familiar back and kicked another back to it. He shot out his spectral hand over all the Dragon Tooth Warriors, expanded it, then brought it down, crushing them. Meanwhile, Ichigen cut at the door with his own sword. But no damage was done.
"Do you really think I'll let you out of my net?" Caster still couldn't be seen but it was as if she was talking from all directions at once.
"Why are you doing this?!" Ichigen demanded while still trying to get the door to open. He finally did, revealing a yard under a moonless night sky. "Kuroh!"
"Right!" He sheathed his katana and bolted out the door. But as soon as they stepped out of the doorway, the landscape changed to a dimly lit stone corridor.
"Huh?!" Ichigen looked back, but the house was gone!
"Don't bother. I won't let you out of my embrace." Caster's voice could still clearly be heard. "I'm just a...what did you tell Kuroh again? A back-stabbing witch? Maybe I'll show you that."
"I was merely informing him of what history regards you as."
"Doesn't matter. You've only seen me as an object, just like Jason. I'll make you pay for that. You and your Clansman, who's no different." Growling and slithering from something large coming closer and closer was heard.
Ichigen's Command Seal began glowing. "Stop this at once, Medea!" A stroke went away, but the surroundings didn't change. To make it worse, it sounds like the creature is about 100 meters away now.
Maniacal laughter. "Have you forgotten what my Noble Phantasm can do?!"
"You stabbed yourself with Rule Breaker to nullify our contract?! But that's suicide for Servants!"
"Wrong. We just need mana to sustain ourselves. See, I'm siphoning mana from the citizens of Shizume." The slithering stopped and a tentacle shot out of the darkness and wrapped around Kuroh's neck. It was bone-like, like from a Dragon Tooth Warrior. Before either could do anything, the boy was pulled into the shadows. A moment later there was screaming and the sound of tearing followed by blood splashing on the floors, walls, and Ichigen.
"Kuroh!" Sword in hand, the King ran toward the sound. But no matter how fast he ran, the noise kept moving away at the same speed.
"Uh-uh. I something else planned for you." Ichigen abruptly stopped. Right in front of him were roaring flames. He turned to run back but found he couldn't move without stepping into another sea of flames. Warmth wrapped around him and he was dimly aware he was screaming as his flesh blackened and fell off.
- Dead end
I got Tsukihime when it released in North America. Rereading the bad ends inspired me to do this again.
