The kids were all talking amongst themselves, Ratchet was on the computer and was working and was having a bad day. There were low on energon, the decepticons were beating them and on top of all of that the kids were near his work station, Ratchet is very particular about who is near his work station.

Hey what are you gonna look like Jacob, Abby asked Jacob.

Ohhh wait I'm sorry I forgot you won't be able to become cybertronian Abby said to Jacob.

It's okay, I'm okay with not becoming cybertronian, I'm older and stronger than you guys and I'll be able to take you guys on any day of the week, Jacob said.

Oh yeah, Jack said

Yeah, Jacob said.

All of a sudden Jacob and Jack started wrestling. Jacob easily had the upper hand because he was bigger and stronger, but Jack was holding his own. All of a sudden they bumped into a crate that had something important to Ratchet on top of it and it fell and broke. Then Ratchet snapped.

WHAT WERE YOU KIDS THINKING MESSING AROUND NEAR MY WORK STATION, DO YOU KNOW THIS STUFF IS DANGEROUS, Ratchet said screaming and towering over the two boys.

All of a sudden Cliffjumper and Arcee walked in they heard Ratchet yelling, when they walked in, they saw Ratchet he was towering over the two kids, he had his fist clenched and looks like he was gonna hit the two kids, all of a sudden Arcee's mother instincts kicked she leapt at Ratchet with her fist clenched and punched Ratchet in the face.

DON'T YOU EVER TREAT THOSE KIDS LIKE THAT EVER, Arcee said punching Ratchet.

Cliff tried to pull Arcee off Ratchet, then the rest of the team came in and pulled Arcee off Ratchet.

What was that all about, Elita asked.

He was gonna hit Jacob and Jack, Arcee said.

They were screwing around near my stuff and broke something, Ratchet said.

It's not your place, you're not their parents, Arcee said.

You know what's funny that they think they're gonna become cybertronian, Ratchet said, wiping the eneregon from his mouth.

RATCHET SHUT UP, Arcee said.

What's he talking about mom, Jack asked.

Nothing, Arcee said.

Your adopted children were not your biological family, they're not your parents, Ratchet said.

What the kids said.

Jack looked at Arcee, her facial expression gave Jack his answer.

Jack ran into his room crying. Abby took off to her, and Jason locked himself in his room.

Jack, Arcee said.

Let me go talk to him, Cliff said.

It wasn't your place to tell them, Moon said, to Ratchet.

Well it was only a matter of time before they found out, it was easy to smash their dreams now then later, Ratchet said.

Cliff walks into Jack's room to see him curled up on his bed.

Don't tell it's true uncle Cliff, Jack said.

It's true, Cliff said.

Buddy your mom died in a car accident, eight years ago, her last request was for Arcee to take care of you, Cliff said.

But don't you think for a second she doesn't love you, you were the greatest thing that happened to her, she can't have her own kids, Cliff said.

What do you mean, Jack asked.

The way a female makes a baby, she can't do that, she lost the ability when she got hurt in combat, you were like her way to become a mom, Cliff said.

All of a sudden Arcee walks into the room to see Cliff talking to Jack. Jack ran over to Arcee and hugged her.

I love you mommy, Jack said.

I love you baby, you were the greatest thing that ever happened to me and I would never give you for anything, Arcee said.

In Abby's room

You're not my real mom and dad, Abby asked and looked at Optimus and Elita.

Honey, you're mom and dad, they were in maffia and they betrayed them and they ran, and they were run down and killed in an alley, I found you and we took you and we love you, Elita said.

We love very much, and we would not trade you for anything in this galaxy, Optimus said.

I love you too Abby said, hugging Optimus and Elita in their holoform.

In Jason's room

If you're not my mom and dad then who is my real mom and dad, Jason asked.

I found you in a back alley in a cardboard box, you were less than a month old at the time, your mom was a junkie she OD and died, I have no idea who your father is, you were sick, Mary fixed you up best she could, that's why you have skin issues all over your body, because your mom was junkie they had drugs around you, and your skin was damaged because of the drugs, Moon said.

Why did you take me when you can have your own kids, Jason asked.

Me and your father had become sparkmates, and I was Jealous of what Arcee had with Jack,

I love you mom, Jason said hugging Moon.

Jason then went over to Ironhide and hugged him.

I love you dad, Jason said.

Later that night Ratchet,Optimus,Elita,Arcee,Cliff,Mary,Moon,Ironhide,Ariel and Rodimus, gathered in the main hub.

Ratchet what happened, Optimus asked.

The kids were messing around, they bumped into a crate knocking down an important piece of equipment over and broke it, they shouldn't have been playing there anyway, Ratchet said.

You have no right to touch them, they're not yours, Arcee said.

I wasn't going to touch them, Ratchet said.

Really bull scrap, Arcee said.

I believe you Ratchet, Optimus said.

WHAT, Moon said.

Raising kids is not easy, and they can get out of hand, Optimus said.

We need to keep them out of trouble, Rodimus said.

I'm sorry Ratchet, Arcee said.

It's okay Arcee, Ratchet said.

With everything that happened that day they put it behind them, and they moved on.
