Here we begin the Kirby arc! As you can probably guess by now, each arc will focus on a different world from a series represented in Smash Bros., but with the twist in that those worlds are not the same as the ones the protagonists come from. They and some other characters will be complete strangers in what are supposed to be their worlds, with nobody knowing who they are and some things being different, most notably Nikke characters being integrated into the histories of those worlds.

Also, NOT every series from Smash Bros. will be represented in this story, because that would make the story drag on for too long. Also, I'm not knowledgeable of every series in Smash Bros., so some will be omitted for this reason. I'd say there will be around 10 worlds or slightly more, but I still have a method of representing more than ten Smash Bros. Series in this story. How? You'll find out eventually!

In regards to Kirby talking, I'm sure he can actually talk in the games. Him not being able to talk is only in the anime.

Chapter 7
Dream Land

Even after hearing the pink ball with stubby limbs introducing himself as Kirby, Anis continued to stare at him with a dumbfounded expression, as if she saw the strangest thing in the world, and understandably so because she has never seen anything like Kirby at all.

Kirby tilted his head, or his entire body, a bit and asked, "Are you all right?"

"Um… You're Kirby?" asked Anis, still dumbfounded.

"Yes," replied the pink ball with a nod.

"So… what are you…?" asked Anis.

"What do you mean? I'm Kirby," replied Kirby.

"I know that's your name… But what kind of creature are you?" asked Anis, clarifying things.

"Hmmm… Guess you can say a citizen of Dream Land?" replied Kirby, sounding unsure.

Anis looked even more dumbfounded to hear that answer. "Dream Land? Is that some kind of amusement park?"

"Well, Dream Land can be a fun and relaxing place, so you can compare it to an amusement park, but no, it's not an amusement park," replied Kirby. "You must be new here. Welcome to Dream Land then!"

"So I'm currently in Dream Land?" asked Anis. Before she could get an answer, she heard someone calling out to her. Turning to the side, she saw some familiar faces approaching her.

"Anis!" Mica called out while running towards her, waving one hand and carrying her rocket launcher in the other. "Am I glad to see you here! Wherever this is…"

Anis widened her eyes in surprise. "Mica! Blanc! Mast! Liter and Volt! What are you doing here?"

"That's what I want to know!" replied Blanc. "Noir and I were practicing our dance moves back at our casino when suddenly there was bright light blinding us both, and then I found myself in this… this… Where are we anyway?"

"There's nothing but grass, flowers, and trees as far as I can see…" said Mast, looking around with one hand over her eyes. Morgan was on her shoulder, looking around with his wings over his eyes. "I don't recall the Ark having a place like this… Are we actually on the surface?"

Mica noticed Kirby and bent down in front of him. "Wow! What is this thing? It's so adorable!"

"I'm Kirby! Nice to meet you!" replied Kirby with a smile. Volt went up to him and sniffed him, which made him feel ticklish and laugh.

"It can talk too!" said Blanc in surprise, bending over to get a better look at Kirby, and then she patted him on the head, which made him feel good.

Suddenly, another person appeared out of thin air in a spinning formation and wrapped in a blue cape that unveiled itself when he stopped spinning, revealing himself to be a blue ball with stubby limbs similar to Kirby, though he is wearing a gray metal mask and also wields an orange sword. "Kirby," the newcomer said in a surprisingly deep voice as he walked up to the pink ball.

"Meta Knight!" Kirby greeted him cheerfully while waving.

"Did something happen just now?" Meta Knight asked him.

A question mark appeared over Kirby's head. "What do you mean?"

"There was a bright flash of light just now over at my place," Meta Knight asked him. "I was at the Halberd, which was parked in its hanger, when suddenly I was engulfed in bright light, and then I found myself out here in Cookie Country. I was asking you if you saw anything out here emitting bright light."

"Yeah, I remember bright light engulfing me, and I was about to eat my strawberry shortcake, which disappeared when the light died down…" said Kirby, sounding disappointed. "I was at home, mind you."

Meta Knight turned to the Nikke, who were staring at Meta Knight with odd and curious expressions. "Um… Friend of yours?" Liter asked Kirby.

Kirby replied, "You can say that. We know each other well for a long time already."

"Who are these people?" Meta Knight asked Kirby.

"I don't know, but they seem to have appeared here all of a sudden without an explanation," replied Kirby.

"Yeah! There was this bright light all of a sudden while Belorta and I were in our toy store," explained Mica, and then her expression suddenly became one of shock. "Belorta! Belorta! Where is she?!" She looked around in panic, trying to find her friend and also called out her name loudly. "Belorta! Where are you?"

"Calm down there," Blanc told her while petting her shoulder. "You promised Belorta that you wouldn't always be worried about her, didn't you? I'm sure she's safe and sound. Take a deep breath!"

Mica calmed down a bit. "Right… I promised her to never be too worried about her again… Still, we are in an unfamiliar place, so it's easier to get worried about…"

"My sister Noir is nowhere to be seen as well, and though I'm also worried about her, I'm going to stay positive and believe that she is all right at the moment and that we'll meet each other again!" Blanc told her. "Good fortune will definitely happen! Believe it!"

"Fortune will never come if we only wait and do nothing. How about we try to figure out what this place is and how we end up here in the first place?" suggested Liter, sounding a bit annoyed.

"I told your friend Anus before that you are in Dream Land," said Kirby while pointing at Anis.

"Anis! Not Anus!" Anis corrected her with an embarrassed look.

"Yes, you are in the country of Dream Land, on the planet Popstar," Meta Knight clarified to the Nikke.

"Planet…? Um… You mean… this isn't Earth?" asked a confused Mast.

"I do not know of the planet Earth, but assuming that it is the planet you are from, then yes, you are no longer on Earth, but our planet, Popstar," Meta Knight told her.

There was silence among the Nikke for several seconds, and then Mast said in excitement with sparkling eyes. "We're on an alien planet?! Wow! Do you know what that means?"

"Yes! We're gonna have a hell of a time trying to get back to the Ark, if it's even possible anymore!" said Liter angrily.

"It means there is new adventure awaiting us on this completely undiscovered foreign land! Imagine all the treasures this place has!" said Mast with enthusiasm and excitement while trembling nonstop. "Oh, how I can't wait to explore this wonderful world!"

"Yeah, I went treasure hunting once underground and found lots of valuable treasure!" Kirby told her.

"Really? This is awesome! I like this world already!" said Mast, even more excited than before.

"I know you're excited about adventure and all, but don't you think we should find a way to get back to Earth, or least establish contact with there first?" Anis asked her. "You don't want to get stranded on this planet, do you?"

"Finally! Someone who understands the gravity of our situation!" said Liter. "Sure, being on an alien planet is mind-boggling and even exciting, but if we cannot get back to our own planet, that's no good! I wouldn't want to be stranded here!"

"This place isn't bad, but I guess I can understand not being able to go back home," said Kirby.

"Space travel is nothing new to us," Meta Knight told the Nikke. "We can easily take you to space, though the problem lies in looking for your planet."

"That does sound like it's gonna be a problem, since space is very big…" said Blanc, sounding a bit worried.

"So… where do we started?" asked Anis.

"Why not come over to my place first? You must be tired, so I'll treat you," suggested Kirby. "Follow me!" He started wandering off in a random direction, and the others, not knowing what to do, decided to follow him.

They walked to the top of small hill and noticed something down below. "Is that a spaceship?" asked Belorta, leaning forward to get a better look.

Kirby and Meta Knight's eyes widened in surprise. "Isn't that Magolor's ship?" asked Kirby.

Meta Knight nodded. "Yes, it is indeed Magolor's ship, the Lor Starcutter!"

"You know that ship?" Anis asked them.

"Yeah, he belonged to a person named Magolor," explained Kirby. "His ship crash landed on our planet once, so we helped him rebuild it and then later accompanied him to his planet to help with finding something, only for everything to be…"

"He was using us to steal a cursed artifact that later corrupted him," said Meta Knight, continuing the story for Kirby. "We manage to defeat him and thought he perished afterwards, though he later showed up alive and well, claiming to have learned his lesson."

"Cursed artifact? Ooh! Sounds like something worthy of a pirate adventure!" said Mast, sounding interested.

"Did he come back to Popstar?" wondered Kirby, still looking at the ship.

"Who knows? Let's go over and see what he wants," suggested Meta Knight. "There seems to be some people gathered around it as well."

The group went down the hill and approached the Lor Starcutter. As they got near, they saw several Waddle Dees, Waddle Doos, Swords Knights, Blade Knights, and more. "I wonder what's the occasion here?" wondered Kirby.

Meta Knight walked up to a Sword Knight and asked him what was happening. "We're getting ready to set off a place called Another Dimension," replied the latter.

"Another Dimension?" said Meta Knight curiously.

The Sword Knight nodded. "Yes. It is a journey started by King Dedede. He hired some guy named Magolor who claims to be an expert on Another Dimension. Supposedly, the king wants to find treasure there."

Meta Knight was surprised to hear this. "Why would Dedede want to go there? He has been there before, and he knows well the dangers of that place!"

"The king went there before? He never said that!" said the Sword Knight, sounding surprised.

"Something doesn't sound right…" said a skeptical Meta Knight. "I should go to Dedede myself and ask him what he's up too."

Meanwhile, the Nikke had their eyes on two particular people standing among the group. "Wait a minute… Aren't those two…?" said a confused and surprised Anis while pointing at two individuals.

"Drilley and Hammering?! What are they doing here?!" said Liter in surprise.

Standing before them were two human women. One was a purple-haired girl carrying a mechanical drill pack on her back, while the other one is a brown-skinned woman with red hair, leaning on the handle of a large hammer she placed at the side.

The Nikke went up to those two, and Liter asked them, "Drilley! Hammering! What are you two doing here? How'd you get here?"

The two turned to the Nikke with confused looks, and Drilley asked them, "Who are you?"

"What are you on about? Of course you know who I am! I am Liter from Mighty Tools!" Liter told her. "We've worked together on construction projects before! How can you forget who I am?"

Drilley looked annoyed and said, "Sorry, but I have no idea who you are, and yet you're talking like you know me since forever! You sure you didn't mistake me for someone else?"

"How come you forget who we are? I'm Anis!" Anis told her. "Remember that we went together to the crystal area to rescue Hammering?" She then turned to Hammering. "You still remember all that, right?"

"Um… Sorry… I have no idea what you're talking about…" Hammering told her. "We just met each other today…"

Anis and Liter were confused beyond words. "What…? What is going on with you? Did you get mind wiped?" asked a shocked Anis. "When did it happen?"

"You're making even less sense than before…" said a frustrated Drilley. "You get out of here now before I shove my drills up one of your holes, and you won't like the one I've already decided on!"

"Whoa there! Take it easy…" said Blanc, waving her hands and backing away a bit nervously.

"What appears to be the problem here?" asked someone. They looked and saw a spherical being dressed in a blue cloak coming over to them, and his hands were not attached to his body but rather floating next to it.

"Mister Magolor, these people are acting like they know who we are and that we're supposed to be friends or something," Hammering told him. "But we never met them in our lives before…"

The Nikke looked at Magolor, and Blanc said, "He's supposed to be the owner of this spaceship?"

Magolor turned to them and said, "I don't know who you are, and you're welcome to look around, but please refrain from disturbing the crew. We are currently in the middle of preparations for going to Another Dimension."

"Can we come along?" Mast asked him, which surprised the other Nikke, while Morgan let out a squawk.

"You want to come along? That's not something I can decide completely by myself," Magolor told her. "You'll have to ask the king as well."

"The king and his queen are here!" shouted a Waddle Doo.

"Queen?" said Meta Knight curiously. "Since when did Dream Land has a queen?"

"Is she the one?" asked Kirby, pointing at the arrival of a new group.

Approaching the place was a large palanquin carried by several Waddle Dees, and sitting on its throne were a penguin-like being dressed in royal robes and a blonde woman in a white kimono.

"Miss Ludmilla?!" said Mica in shock when she saw who the queen was.

"Ludmilla?! From Unlimited?! She's here as well?!" said Anis in shock.

"And as someone's husband, no less?!" said Blanc in shock, even looking a bit jealous.

Kirby and Meta Knight looked at Dedede approach with his queen with widened eyes. "That's new…" commented Meta Knight. "When did this happen?"

Under Dedede's order, the Waddle Dees carrying his palanquin stopped and then settled it down on the ground for the king and the queen to step down. All those present, except for Kirby and his company, bowed down to pay their respects.

"I assume everything is in order?" asked Dedede.

Magolor raised his head and went over to him while rubbing his hands. "Of course, your majesty! The only thing left is your almighty presence! We've been waiting for you!"

"In that case, I pronounce the start of this voyage! Let us board the Lor Starcutter and take off for Another Dimension, seeking the riches that are hidden in it!" said Dedede loudly, raising his arm into the air. He then turned to Ludmilla and said to him with a lovey-dovey face. "You have my promise that I will keep you safe! We will come back much wealthier than before from this trip!"

"Oh, you don't have to do all this for me! Your presence alone is worth more than all the treasure in the world to me!" Ludmilla said to him in a sweet voice while rubbing his chin, or the bottom of his mouth. "Furthermore, I am more than capable of protecting myself!" As she said the last line, she held up a machine gun, Savior in the Snow, in one hand.

Anis had a freaked out look on his face when she saw Ludmilla's action. "Uh… Someone please tell me this is a practical joke… The thought of a Nikke getting married is already mind-boggling, and Ludmilla marrying a… penguin…? This is like some messed up bestiality fan fiction that rustles readers' jimmies!"

"Is that what people like to write about nowadays…?" said Liter in disgust after hearing what Anis said.

Mica ran up to Ludmilla, but Waddle Dees wielding spears got in front of her, telling her not to come any closer. "Miss Ludmilla!" Mica called out to the queen. "It's me, Mica! What are you doing here? Are you really married to… to the king?"

Ludmilla and Dedede turned to her, and the former asked, "How may I help you, little girl?"

"It's me, Mica! Don't you remember?" Mica asked her.

Confused, Ludmilla replied, "Sorry, but I have no idea who you are."

"I'm serious! How come you don't know who I am? It's me, Mica! We had a fun time together at the resort you discovered, don't you remember?" Mica asked Ludmilla, sounding more and more desperate.

"I'm afraid I have no memories of any of that," Ludmilla told her.

Kirby and Meta Knight went over to Dedede, and the former asked him, "When you'd get married?"

"Hey! Don't speak to our king so casually!" one of the Waddle Dee guards angrily said to Kirby.

"And who might you be?" Dedede asked Kirby.

Surprise, Meta Knight asked, "You do not know us?"

"Yes, I have never seen you before, and why is it all of a sudden people are claiming to know who am I, as well as my wife?" asked a confused Dedede. "If this is some sort of practical joke, then do not take it any further. I am trying to be patient with you."

"Strange… We only met each other yesterday, and you already forgot everything, and even got yourself a wife…" said a confused Kirby.

"Clearly something is very wrong here…" said Meta Knight, thinking deeply about this, and then he looked at the king. "I apologize for taking your time. Perhaps it is true we mistook you for someone."

"All is forgiven," said Dedede, lifting one hand slightly. "After all, I have the kind of face that is recognized by everyone! Dyehehe!"

Kirby and Meta Knight walked away from Dedede and Ludmilla, and they told the girls to gather together. Mica was still trying to convince Ludmilla, so Blanc grabbed the former by the shoulder and told her to let it go for now. When they were together in a circle, Meta Knight said, "I may have an idea on what is happening."

"What is it?" Mast asked him.

"If my theory is correct, we are in a parallel universe… One that is similar to ours, yet different in certain ways," replied Meta Knight.

"Parallel universe?" said a skeptical Liter.

"I mean… This world is completely alien to us Nikke…" said Anis. "Now you're saying this isn't actually your own world either?"

"That is the only explanation why the people we know do not recognize us," said Meta Knight. "The same goes for your friends who do not recognize you."

"Funny how there happens to be a world that contains both your and our people though," said Kirby.

"So assuming you're right, what are we going to do about this?" asked Liter.

"They said they are going to Another Dimension," said Meta Knight. "That place is a hub world that connects to several different dimensions. Perhaps we can use it to get back to our own world and even yours."

"So we just hitch a ride along with them? Sounds good to me!" agreed Kirby.

"That's if they are willing to let us tag along…" said Anis. "I don't think they're going to let us join so easily…"

"We'll never know if until we try," said Mast. "I'm sure they're willing to have a few extra hands if they're going to go somewhere dangerous."

Without saying anything else, Kirby went straight up to Dedede and asked him, "Can we join you on this trip?"

Dedede's interest piqued. "What's that? You want to join us on the journey into Another Dimension?" Kirby nodded with a smile. "Give me a good reason. I'm not going to take anyone just like this, especially if they cannot contribute to something."

"Well, we can help fend off dangers and monsters in case there are any," said Kirby. "My friends and I know self defense."

Dedede looked at Meta Knight and the Nikke, noting that they were all armed with a sword and firearms respectively. "Hmmmm… I take those are not simply for looks? If so, then some extra firepower will be nice." He then looked at Blanc. "And why do you have a bunny girl with you? You some kind of performer?"

Blanc pointed at herself with two hands and winked cutely. "Yep! I'm a bunny girl performer!"

"So how about you take us along? I happen to have been to Another Dimension before, so I know a bit about that place," Kirby told him.

"Then that's even better!" said Dedede. "Still, I have to make sure that you're not just making things up. How about you prove to me that you're capable first?"

"Sure. What do you want us to do?" Kirby asked him.

Dedede pointed at a forest in the distance and said, "There's a dangerous tree in there that attacks anyone who goes near it, making that place unsafe. I figured that we just leave it alone and not go near the woods, but… why don't you do something about that tree?"

"Oh, you must mean Whispy," said Kirby, looking at said forest. "Sure! We'll teach him a lesson for you!"

"Someone has to go with you to be witnesses though," said Dedede as he rubbed his chin. "Who should I send? Hmmmm…" He then turned to one of his Waddle Dees, one with a blue bandanna wrapped around his head. "You! You go with them and report to me everything you see. Tell me if you think they're worthy of tagging along."

"As you wish, your majesty!" said the bandanna Waddle Dee. He then went up to Kirby and said to him, "All right! Let's go! And let's try to get along too, okay?"

"Sure! I don't mind being friends with you from scratch again!" said Kirby, referring to the Bandanna Waddle Dee from his world.

Bandanna Waddle Dee led the way, and the others followed him. "Are you sure this is a good idea…?" asked skeptical Anis.

"We won't have any other choice," replied Meta Knight. "If we want to find our way back, then Another Dimension is the best option."

"You sound like you have experience with this sort of thing," Blanc said to him.

"We do indeed have some experience with traveling through dimensions," replied Meta Knight, thinking back on certain adventures such he experienced, such as the Mirror Dimension and the Forgotten Land. "We even met different versions of ourselves, so this entire situation is nothing new to us."

After some time of walking, the group arrived within the designated forest and continued following Bandanna Waddle Dee, who was going to lead them to the tree Dedede told them to deal with. "So we just have to cut down a dangerous tree?" asked Blanc.

"I'm assuming it's Whispy Woods, so he'll put up a fight before he goes down," said Kirby.

"How does a tree fight back? Trees aren't sentient!" said Liter.

"Trees aren't sentient in your world?" Kirby asked her, turning to face her with a somewhat surprised look.

"Duh! Everyone knows trees aren't sentient! They may be living things, but they don't think, feel, talk, or move!" Liter told him. "Are you telling me that trees in your world are like animals?"

"Yes, but not all" replied Kirby straightforwardly. There was silence among the Nikke as they tried to process what they heard.

"Wow! This world is lot more interesting than I thought!" commented Mast with interest.

"By the way, how are you going to fight?" Anis asked Kirby as the group continued on the path. As soon as she said this, a Bronto Burt appeared in the air, flying towards them with angry face.

"Watch out!" said Bandanna Waddle Dee as he readied his spear to attack it. He was going to do so when Kirby suddenly jumped over him and opened his mouth to suck in a large amount of air, including the Bronto Burt, which disappeared into Kirby's mouth.

Kirby landed from his jump and swallowed the Bronto Burt, and the latter was gone, just like that. He turned back to the others, and all of them except Meta Knight had shocked looks on their faces. "I hope that answers your question," Meta Knight said to Anis.

"Did… Did you really just ate that… whatever that thing was…?" asked Anis in disbelief.

Kirby nodded and said, "Yep, and it's not the first time either. I ate so many Bronto Burts in my lifetime that I lost count."

"So you can just suck anything into your mouth and swallow them instantly…?" asked Mast. Kirby nodded in response.

"Belorta would love to have an ability like this…" commented Mica as she imagined Belorta sucking a large amount of food into her mouth.

"So you're just gonna eat Whispy Woods?" Anis asked Kirby.

The latter shook his head in response. "Nah, he's too big to be eaten. I'll just eat stuff he throws at me or lying around and spit it at him until he gives up. It's always been like that between us. The one in my world, that is."

"You and this Whispy Woods don't seem to get along," noted Blanc.

"Sort of, but he's not a bad person for the most part. Most of the time when we get into fights, he's under evil influence of some kind," explained Kirby.

There was suddenly the sound of leaf rustling, making them look around in awareness. A Grizzo suddenly emerged from behind a bush and roared at them with an intimidating face. "It's a bear!" gasped Blanc, jumping back in shock while pointing her gun at it.

However, Kirby simply opened his mouth and sucked the bear inside, swallowing it whole before it could do anything. "There! That's that!" he said with a smile before letting out a small burp.

The Nikke had looks of shock and awe on their faces. Even after knowing what Kirby can do, they still could not believe how he was able to do something like this.

After a while walking, the group finally came to their destination. Looking from bushes, Bandanna Waddle Dee said while eyeing a tree with faces before them. "That's the tree the king was talking about."

"Yep, it's Whispy all right," said Kirby.

"Are you sure that face isn't just carved there by someone?" asked a still skeptical Liter.

"I'm sure I saw it blinking just now, and carved eyes shouldn't blink…" noted Anis.

"I'll see if I can reason with him," said Kirby as he walked out off the bushes casually, despite the others telling him not to be reckless. Approaching the tree, he waved and said to him in a cheerful-sounding voice, "Hey Whispy! What's up? How you feeling?"

The tree turned to him, and his face became grumpy in an instant before blowing strong air at him to send him rolling back. Kirby came to a stop in front of the bush the others were hiding behind of and then sat up. "That wasn't nice… Normally you would say something first before attacking..."

"In that case, we can go ahead and take him down, knowing he is an enemy," said Meta Knight, coming out of his hiding place.

"It's just a tree. How hard can it be to take down?" said Anis, readying her rocket launcher.

BGM: Boss Theme (Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards)

Suddenly, sharp wooden spikes, Whispy's roots, popped up from the ground and moved towards them at a first speed. Shocked, they all ran in different directions to avoid the incoming roots. "All right! You're asking for it!" said Anis angrily before firing a rocket shell that struck Whispy right in the face.

Whispy let out a pained cry and shook his face, and Anis was surprised that she didn't manage to blow up the whole thing. Blanc, Liter, and Mica fired from their weapons at Whispy, hitting him in all sides. In response, Whispy uprooted himself from the ground, much to the girl's surprise and landed with such a force that an earthquake was created. He then shook the upper segment of his body to make apples fall down and bounce towards them.

Mica caught an apple that bounced towards her and looked at it, thinking what sort of harm it could do. The apple glowed, and in panic, she hurled it away. It exploded in the air. "Exploding apples?!"

Everyone ran from the incoming apple bombs. Meta Knight slashed them into oblivion, while Kirby sucked as many as apples as he could into his mouth before spitting them back at Whispy, hitting him so hard that he almost uprooted and tilted over.

"Yes! We did it!" exclaimed Mast happily.

However, Whispy uprooted himself again and began using them like legs. Whispy Woods gnashed his mouth, which had grew sharp wooden teeth, rapidly while rushing towards them, a sight that sent them all fleeing in the other direction.

"What kind of tree is this that can walk?!" cried Anis.

"You're asking this now when it could previously jump?!" Liter asked her.

Mica reached into a small bag she had strapped to her side and pulled out a grenade. After removing the safety pin, she threw it backwards at Whispy. However, Whispy used one of his branches like a baseball bat to knock it back to them, much to their horror.

Acting fast, Kirby jumped in front of the homecoming grenade and swallowed it. Rather than the grenade exploding inside him, a cone-shaped hat materialized from light on his head, a sight that baffled the Nikke and Bandanna Waddle Dee.

"It's Kirby's bomb ability!" pointed out Meta Knight, which didn't do much to ease the others' confusion.

Kirby created two bombs out of thin air in his hands and flung them at a fast speed at Whispy. The bombs went into the tree's mouth when it opened and exploded inside him, stunning him. Whispy stopped in his tracks, dazed and with his mouth open, emitting a large amount of smoke from it. Kirby proceeded to produce and throw a large amount of bombs nonstop at Whispy, blasting him all over the front nonstop. The others had to back away to a safer distance to not get caught in the explosions.

After much bombing, Whispy finally fell over, badly charred from head to toe and with certain parts of his body blown away. Kiry stood in place observing for a short while before turning back to the others and telling them, "All done!"

"Wow…! That was awesome! How did you do that?" asked an amazed and interested Mica.

"I can obtain certain abilities from swallowing certain things," Kirby explained to her. His hat disappeared, while a yellow star shot out from the back of his body and bounced around for a bit before disappearing. "And cancel it whenever I want."

"You're getting crazier by the minute…" said Anis in disbelief.

"You haven't even seen a fraction of what he's capable of yet," Meta Knight told her.

Everyone then turned to Bandanna Waddle Dee, and Mast asked him, "So… did we pass?"

Bandanna Waddle Dee snapped back to his senses from being too shocked by what he witnessed. After shaking his head, he replied, "Yes… I think you passed…"

"So that is really what happened, eh?" asked Dedede, sounding impressed by Bandanna Waddle Dee's reports. The group had returned to Lor Starcutter and reported to Dedede about what happened. "Well then, it looks like you passed the test! Pity that I didn't get to see it, but if Waddle Dee here says that you did an impressive job, I'll believe it is real!"

He turned to Magolor and asked him, "You wouldn't mind some extra helping hand on your ship, would you?"

"As long as your majesty says so, they are welcome to join our expedition!" Magolor said to him.

Dedede turned to Kirby and his group. "Welcome aboard then! Let us go on the greatest adventure of our lifetime!"

"Yay! Adventure! Here I come!" exclaimed Mast happily while raising a fist into the air. Morgan did the same using his wing and squawked loudly.

Everyone began boarding Lor Starcutter. As she was approaching it, Anis asked Kirby and Meta Knight, "Are you sure this will really take us back to our own world?"

"Assuming everything is like how we remembered it, then yes, Another Dimension should lead the path back to our worlds," Meta Knight told her.

"I'm also wondering if other people from our world are here," said Blanc. "We can't be the only ones here, right? I hope my sister Noir is all right…"

"I hope Belorta is all right too… Maybe she's in that place we are heading to?" wondered Mica.

"Don't worry; I'm sure we'll be able to find your friends! Everything always turned out well for me, and I'm sure the same will go for you!" Kirby assured them.

Anis wondered to herself, "Is this all Gatekeeper's doing? If so, then it made a really big mess this time… How are we going to get everything back to normal at this rate…?"
