Chapter 16
Trainwreck

As the Arwings and the Landmaster closed in on the train known as Alteisen, the latter took off from its location at a gradually increasing speed.

Inside the Landmaster, Diesel said in panic, "It's getting away!"

"Not on my watch!" said Delta. She stepped on the gas pedal and went after Alteisen, all the while firing from the Landmaster's turret, hitting it in the train's last cart.

"All unit! Go after the train! Remember not to destroy the cart containing the Harmony Cube!" James said to all the pilots.

"Roger that!" they replied as they flew after the train.

BGM: The Moving Fortress (Goddess of Victory: Nikke)

The Landmaster chased Alteisen and fired at its last cart that contained turrets, and said turrets were firing projectiles at the tank. Delta skillfully moved the tank left to right to avoid the shots, and without ever slowing down its speed. She fired back at the cart, trying to hit the turrets. Some shots missed and struck different parts of the cart, while some hit their targets, though the turrets remained intact for the most part.

"Looks like it can take quite a hit," said Delta.

"Alteisen is indeed a very heavily armored vehicle, so it's going take quite a while to dent it…" said Diesel.

At the same time, the Arwings were flying after the train and firing laser beams at it, hitting it in various parts. Alteisen responded by shooting missiles and energy shots at them, so they had to either dodge them or avoid them.

"Ha! These attacks are so much easier to avoid than the stuff I previously faced!" said Slippy as he dodged the shots.

Jackal still had her face planted against the glass cockpit, and she said, "Let me out! I want to jump onto it and get a bite out of it!"

"Um… You better stay in here… I don't think it's safe doing what you want…" Slippy told her, to which she groaned in disappointment.

Falco used barrel rolls to bounce away the incoming projectiles and fired back at Alteisen, specifically hitting the weapons on it responsible for firing those. "How about you use the big one?" asked Falco. "You underestimating me or what?"

As if the drivers of the train responded to him, the giant tank-like cannon on the second cart of the train began charging up while pointing at Falco. The pheasant widened his eyes and said, "Well, I did ask for it…"

A giant laser beam was fired from the cannon and swept around in the air as the cannon moved around. Fortunately, the Arwings were all able to dodge the giant laser beam, which didn't last long and disappeared after only a couple of seconds.

Fox's Arwing was chipped in its left wing a bit, but to his surprise, he saw on the screen of his control deck that the wing fixed itself. "This Arwing has self-repairing function?!" he said with widened eyes.

James appeared on his screen and said, "Surprised? Our Arwings are installed with nanobots that patch up any damage they receive! But there's only so much they can do, so major damages can't be fixed. That's why you shouldn't get too reckless, because these nanobots aren't making you invincible."

"Got it," said Fox with a nod. "It's still an incredible function for these Arwings regardless!"

As Krystal flew around Alteisen and shot it, Samus looked down at the train and used her visor's x-ray function to see inside it, and she eventually found what she was looking for. "I see the Harmony Cube inside the sixth cart!" she told Krystal.

"Okay, I'll relay the message to everyone else," said Krystal with a nod.

After she contacted all the others about the location of the Harmony Cube, James said, "Got it, the sixth cart! Everyone, avoid destroying that cart and try to separate it from the rest of the carts up front. As long as we can prevent the cube from getting to its destination, the battle is won!"

"Roger that!" replied everyone else.

Fox flew towards the train and took aim at the coupler holding the fifth and sixth cart together. He fired multiple times, but was unable to get a clear shot. "This isn't going to be easy…" Missiles were fired at him by the train, so he destroyed some while dodging some.

As the Arwings flew around and shot the different areas of the train, Samus suggested to Krystal, "I'll jump down there and separate the carts myself. It should be faster and easier that way!"

"What?! That sounds too reckless! What if you fall off?!" objected Krystal.

"Doing reckless and dangerous things is nothing new to me! Trust me! I can do it!" Samus told her.

"That's not something for me to decide on! Only the leader can give authorization for something reckless like this!" Krystal told her.

The other Arwings continued to shoot at the train in an attempt to separate the carts, all the while avoiding any projectiles fired at them. "How about we just give it some smart bombs? One should be enough to derail the whole thing if we fire at the right place!" suggested Falco.

"The Harmon Cube may be damaged. We need to separate the carts first!" Elegg told him.

"Is that thing really that important?!" asked Falco.

"Yes! It's very valuable because it can provide a large amount of energy and even strengthen combat power!" said Elegg while shaking his seat, to which Falco told her to stop shaking it.

ROB 64 then contacted everyone, saying, "Approximately 9 minutes until the train arrives at its destination."

"We don't have much time left!" cried Slippy. Behind him, Jackal was pounding against the glass while demanding to be let out.

As Krystal continued to pilot her Arwing, Samus quietly said to Adam. "Adam, hack into the controls and open the cockpit. I'm jumping down there."

"Are you sure about this, lady?" Adam asked her, and she assured him. "Very well. Hacking into Arwing's controls to open the cockpit now…"

A few seconds later, the cockpit opened by itself, much to Krystal's surprise. "What the?!" Samus then leaped out of her seat and towards Alteisen below, while Krystal closed the cockpit again. "Samus! What are you doing?!"

Samus landed onto the second to the last cart. She turned around to face the last cart that had multiple turrets on them and targeted them with homing missiles before firing at them, blowing them up and rendering it devoid of weapons. She then turned around and ran ahead, aiming for the cart containing the Harmony Cube.

Fox saw this and said, "What's Samus's doing?!"

"Pretty reckless, huh," commented James.

"Are you going to let her get away with that?!" Krystal asked James.

"Calm down. Let's see what she can do first," the latter told her.

Slippy was still piloting his Arwing when suddenly the cockpit swung open. Looking up in shock, he said, "What the?!"

"Heehee!" laughed Jackal, who had wires and some pieces of metal and plastic held in her mouth.

Slippy turned around to look at her in shock. "What have you done?!"

"You wouldn't let me out, so I forced myself!" replied Jackal after spitting out those things from her mouth. "See ya!" Taking hold of her rocket launcher, she jumped out of the Arwing and towards Alteisen below with her limbs spread out. "Yahoo!"

Slippy looked at the screen on his control deck and saw that she managed to chew through the wiring system for the cockpit, causing it to open. He hurriedly put on a breathing apparatus for situations like this and said to himself, "That girl is crazy!"

Samus was still running atop the carts of Alteisen when Jackal dropped down on all fours in front of her. "Jackal?! What are you doing here?" the former asked her.

Jackal stood up and looked around, asking, "We have to destroy this train, right? Where do I attack?"

Samus was going to say something when she noticed the cannon up ahead turning to face them and then charging up. "Watch out!" she shouted to Jackal before lunging at her. Grabbing Jackal, Samus jumped off the side of the cart together with her just before a laser beam was fired at them. Samus hurriedly fired a grappling beam to latch onto the side of the cart and then pulled herself to it, all the while wrapping her other arm around Jackal's waist.

"Woohoo! This is fun!" cried Jackal in excitement.

"All units, aim for the cannon!" commanded James loudly. "Lend your support to Jackal and Samus!"

"Ugh… I can't believe Jackal would do something as stupid as this…" said Privaty in frustration as she looked out of the cockpit at the aforementioned Nikke down below.

Samus and Jackal climbed back up onto the cart, while the Arwings and the Landmaster focused their firepowers on the cannon. The two contributed to things by firing at the cannon. Within a matter of seconds, the cannon was badly damaged and giving off a large amount of smoke, though whether or not it is still operational was unknown.

After dealing with the cannon, Samus and Jackal ran on ahead and stopped at the end of one of the carts. Looking down at the coupler, Samus fired at it rapidly, trying to destroy it. Before she could destroy it, someone lunged at her from the front and knocked her back. Samus was pinned onto the surface of the cart and looked up at her attacker, Raven Beak.

"You're not getting away with things!" said Raven Beak angrily as he pointed his arm cannon at her.

Samus forcefully tossed him to the side and off the train, but Raven Beak sprouted wings to fly back onto it.

As the two faced off against each other, Samus looked back at Jackal and told her to finish the job. Hearing this, Raven Beak attempted to stop Jackal, but Samus blocked his path and tried to push him back.

Jackal looked down at the coupler and fired energy blasts from her rocket launcher at it. After blasting it a couple of times and seeing that it was yet to be destroyed, Jackal decided to try something different. She dropped down in between the carts, careful not to fall off, and opened her mouth as wide as she could before chomping down on the coupler. With a powerful yank, she tore off the coupler, separating the train carts.

Alteisen's front segment continued moving forward, while the back segment gradually slowed down. "Noooo!" cried Raven Beak in shock and anger.

"Jackal did it!" said Elegg in surprise.

"Everyone! Now give it all you've got!" commanded James.

The other Star Fox members open fired at the front part of Alteisen nonstop, no longer holding back now that the Harmony Cube was no longer being carried it. Energy projectiles and missiles were fired by the train nonstop at the Arwings in an attempt to take them down, but they skillfully dodged or destroyed them.

Fox and Falco sped farther ahead of Alteisen and then turned back to it together. Flying side by side towards the incoming train, they fired smart bombs simultaneously, hitting the lower area that was closing to touching the ground.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

BGM Ends

The dual explosions of the smart bombs propelled Alteisen into the air, and then it crashed back down violently upside-down, getting badly dented in the process.

"Yippee! We did it!" said Slippy happily. The nanobots on his Arwing had finished repairing the parts Jackal damaged, thus allowing him to close the cockpit again.

Flying next to Fox, Falco looked at him and said in a somewhat annoyed tone, "That was my prey!"

"We took it out together. It's all about team work!" Fox told him, to which Falco replied with a 'hmph.'

Down below, Raven Beak looked at the wrecked train head of Alteisen up ahead. Growling in frustration, he turned to Samus and Jackal and said, "You've ruined everything!"

Jackal looked at Samus and asked her, "Did I do the right thing?"

"Yes, you did the right thing," Samus told her without taking her eyes off Raven Beak. Jackal cheered as she jumped up and down with her arms in the air.

"You have messed with the wrong people, Star Fox!" Raven Beak angrily said as he approached Samus and Jackal, both of whom got into fighting stances. "I was going to send something important to Andross so that we can rule the universe together, and now you've ruined it! You'll pay for this!"

"I won't let you rule the universe!" Samus said to him.

A number of ape soldiers came out of the train carts with guns in their hands and surrounded Samus and Jackal, telling them to surrender. They then noticed the Arwings flying towards them. Seeing this, Raven Beak told the soldiers, "Bring out Mechbeth!"

One of them replied, "Are you sure?"

"Yes!" Raven Beak replied loudly. That soldier then ran into one of the carts, while Samus watched in confusion at what he was doing, though she assumed he was going to get out some kind of weapon. Regardless of what it was, she was ready to take on it.

The Arwings arrived at their area and flew in circles in the air above them. "This is Star Fox. We have halted your transportation of the Harmony Cube and also got you surrounded," said Jame's voice from one of the jets. "Surrender now, and you will be treated well."

Raven Beak looked up at them and said in anger, "Fools! You think too highly of yourself!"

Just then, the top part of one of the carts opened, and out came a flying machine that resembles a robot with wings but no legs.

"What is that?!" asked Slippy in shock when he saw that.

Fox widened his eyes, as he recognized what that thing is. "It's Mechbeth! I fought that thing before back in my world!"

"Mechbeth! Destroy Star Fox!" Raven Beak commanded the robot loudly.

Mechbeth's wings glowed brightly before firing laser beams from each of them at the Arwings, but they managed to dodge it. "Watch out with that, you jerk!" said Falco angrily. He then flew towards Mechbeth and fired rapidly, but the robot closed its wings in front of its body to use as a shield for defense. The rest of the Arwings also engaged Mechbeth together.

Meanwhile, the soldiers down below closed in on Samus and Jackal, ready to take them out. "Jackal, do whatever you can to take them down," Samus told the latter.

"Yeah! I'd totally love to!" said Jackal happily before lifting up her rocket launcher to fire an energy blast at a soldier, blasting him away. In response, the other soldiers fired at Jackal, but she leaped high into the air to avoid getting shot and fired multiple shots from there, blowing them away one by one.

BGM: Raven Beak – First Phase (Metroid Dread)

Raven Beak pointed his arm cannon at Samus and fired a rapid burst of energy shots at her, and she fired back in the same manner. Their shots collided and canceled out each other. After firing at each other for a few seconds, they stopped, and then Raven Beak seemingly disappeared.

Samus turned to the side and brought up her arm just in time to block a claw swipe from Raven Beak. The latter simply moved at such a speed that he was too fast for the untrained eyes to catch up with, but for a trained warrior like Samus, keeping track of high speed movement was easy for her.

Samus thrust her arm cannon at his body and fired at point blank, blasting him backwards. Raven Beak came to a skidding stop, but the part that was shot did not show any damage other than being slightly charred. "Hmph! You're good, but that's not good enough to take me down!" Raven Beak said to her.

"Not the first time I've heard that," Samus said to him.

Close by, Jackal was still fighting the ape soldiers. She jumped around while laughing manically, taking them out with either her rocket launcher and attacking them physically with kicks and ramming attacks. Even when the soldiers' beam guns hit her, she seemed to shrug them off with no issue.

"What is her body made of?! She's not taking damage!" said one soldier in shock.

"She must be a cyborg, which explains her resistantance to our guns!" suggested another.

As they continued to fight Jackal, Privaty, Elegg, and Neon suddenly dropped down from the air and pointed their guns at the soldiers. "It's over, you all!" Privaty said loudly while holding up her gun.

"I'd rather you not give up, because I want to try out my new firepower!" said Neon with enthusiasm.

"Fire! Take them all out!" shouted one of the soldiers. They fired at the Nikke, who spread out and dodged the shots while firing back at them.

Privaty ran around at a fast speed, skillfully and swiftly dodging the laser beams fired at her. She fired back with great precision, hitting the soldiers and taking them out.

Raven Beak and Samus continued to trade shots at each other. In the middle of doing so, Raven Beak was blasted by a powerful blast of energy and blown away, but his armor was durable enough to save him from a fatal blow. He looked at his attacker and saw the Landmaster approaching.

Inside, Delta took aim at Raven Beak and said, "This time I'll make sure to land the killing blow!" She made the tank fire again, but Raven Beak flew into the air and created large ball of fire over his head using his arm cannon. He hurled the ball of fire at the Landmaster, blasting it into the air.

The tank fell back down upside-down with a powerful thud, but it only suffered minor dents and chars before flipping itself right side up. Inside, Delta and Diesel were shaken by the attack, and the former asked the latter if she was all right. "I'm fine…" replied Diesel.

Samus aimed upwards at Raven Beak, but he dodged her shot. More energy blasts were fired at him. He dodged them and saw that Privaty and Elegg were firing at him. The Nikke had finished dealing with the ape soldiers.

"Take this, bird monster!" said Elegg as she fired from her gun. Raven Beak dodged her shots and swiftly flew up to her in a blink of an eye, much to her surprise. He thrust his claws into her body hard and sent her shooting back at a fast speed.

Privaty fired at him from a different direction, and he dodged the shots before firing at her. She rolled to the side while continuing to fire at him, and when Raven Beak dashed up to her to attack up close, she reacted fast to avoid the claw swipes he tried to hit her with and occasionally blocked them using her gun.

At one point, she was able to grab his arm and then pressed her gun against his body, ready to fire at point blank, but Raven Beak broke out of her grasp with ease and slammed her onto the ground on her back. Before he could shoot her, he was interrupted by Neon firing from her shotgun at him. Instead of bullets, her shotgun fired energy pellets this time.

Raven Beak moved away from Privaty while still facing Neon and readied to shoot her, only to be interrupted by an energy blast from Jackal.

Privaty got back up and fired rapidly at Raven Beak. Elegg had also gotten back up and fired at him as well. Raven Beak held up his arms and blocked the shots fired at him. Due to his armor, he wasn't harmed by the shots completely, though he knew getting hit too often wouldn't do any good.

And then he was blasted by the Landmaster and sent flying again. He landed in a crouching position with smoke coming off of him and looked at his attackers as they gathered together while facing him. "Grrrrr! How dare you make a fool out of me!" he said in anger.

…

Up in the air, the Star Fox members continued their battle against Mechbeth. They flew all around the flying robot and shot it constantly with their beams, while the robot fought back by firing laser beams from its wings at them.

"Ha! This thing is a joke! It's completely overwhelmed by us!" mocked Slippy.

The robot pointed its "tail" at Slippy and fired a harpoon at an astoundingly fast speed, impaling him by the wing. The toad was shocked at what happened, as well as everyone else. Mechbeth reeled in Slippy at a fast speed before he could do anything and fired lasers at the Arwing. The Arwing was blown away in flames, getting separated from the wing that was caught by the harpoon.

"SLIPPY!" gasped Fox.

Before the burning Arwing crashed down onto the ground below, Slippy hurriedly ejected himself out of the jet, and he had a jet pack on his back that allowed him to fly. "I'm all right!" he called out to everyone while giving a thumbs up. Other than some burns, he was in a relatively good condition.

"Phew… I'm glad he's okay…" said Krystal.

"Not the first time he had us worried like this," pointed out Falco.

Jame watched as Slippy flew off towards the Great Fox in the distance, and then he said to the others, "Concentrate on the enemy. Let's avenge Slippy by taking it down!"

The Arwings flew around Mechbeth and bombarded it with laser beams while avoiding the lasers the latter fired at them. Mechbeth fired a harpoon at Falco, but he was able to dodge it. "Ha! Miss me!" he taunted.

As the robot continued to get bombarded in all directions and gradually short circuited, it did something new. Light came out from the top of its head, and then a few seconds later, several javelins were shot into the air and rained back down. The Arwing pilots saw this and hurriedly dodged them, but Krystal's Arwing was struck in the right wing, destroying it completely.

"I'm hit!" cried Krystal as she struggled with the controls of her downward descending Arwing.

"Krystal! Eject! Don't go down with it!" James told her, and the latter did so, escaping her jet and taking flight using the same kind of jet pack as Slippy's.

Down below, the others were still fighting Raven Beak when they noticed shadows on the ground. Looking up, they saw the javelins fired by Mechbeth falling down, so they dodged them. "Whoa?! What are these?!" said Elegg in shock after jumping to the side.

The Landmaster wasn't as fortunate, however. One javelin dropped down onto it and went through the front part, but fortunately, Delta and Diesel were not hit, as they were sitting within the middle part of the tank. Delta tried to move the tank, only to find that it was too damaged to do anything. "Looks like this thing's done for…" she said.

"What do we do?" Diesel asked her.

Delta picked up a sniper rifle and replied, "We'll have to fight the old fashioned way now."

Seeing the javelins embedded into the ground, Raven Beak flew to one of them and grabbed it. He then flew into the air, taking it up with him. Even though the javelin was larger than the usual size that people carried, Raven Beak was still able to carry it with ease thanks to his armor boosting his strength.

Raven Beak hurled the javelin with a powerful force at Samus, who leaped out of the way to avoid getting hit. The javelin struck the ground with such a force that a shockwave was created and kicked up a large amount of dust and dirt.

Raven Beak flew over to another javelin and picked it up just as Samus fired at him. He swung the javelin at the incoming plasma beam, canceling it out but also causing the javelin to be destroyed. After this, Samus fired her grappling beam at a nearby javelin, and then with a powerful swing, she lifted it off the ground and swung it at Raven Beak, who dodged it by flying into the air.

While that was happening, Jackal picked up one of the javelins herself and yelled in excitement as she hurled it at the airborne Raven Beak, who was caught off guard by it and struck directly. He was pushed across the air for a while before he forcefully shoved it aside. Grunting in pain, he looked at the crack on the abdomen area of his armor and put his hand on it. If weren't for this armor, that impact could've impaled and killed him.

The moment he took his hand away, the cracked part was immediately shot by a laser beam fired by Delta, who intentionally aimed at that part using her snipe rifle. The crack grew even larger, and Raven Beak growled in anger as he fired from his arm cannon at Delta, who dodged it.

Diesel was nearby, pointing into the air and firing from her machine gun at Raven Beak. Due to the upgrade from Slippy, it now fired energy blasts like everyone else rather than bullets.

Samus and the other Nikke ran over, and together, they fired nonstop at Raven Beak, gradually weakening his armor and overwhelming him with their firepower.

Back in the air, Mechbeth continued to get shot at by the Arwings, who were skillfully dodging everything it threw at them. "It should be going down soon!" said Fox.

He shot the robot multiple times as he went past it. Mechbeth turned to him and fired a harpoon from its tail, but Fox dodged it by flying into the air and doing a u-turn. He got back behind Mechbeth and fired a charged shot that blasted it forward, and then James and Falco pelted it rapidly in the same area.

Finally reaching its limit, Mechbeth released a large amount of sparks and smoke as it descended at a downward angle at a fast speed, right in Raven Beak's direction. Seeing Mechbeth falling towards him, he hurriedly leaped away, and though he avoided direct impact, the powerful explosion still got him.

KABOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Raven Beak tumbled violently onto the ground and came to a stop eventually. He stood up, panting heavily, and his armor was beginning to short circuit. He looked and saw his opponents still standing before him with their weapons pointing at him. "Give up! It's your loss!" Privaty told him.

"NEVER!" he shouted in anger. Raising his arm cannon into the air, he charged up pink light until a large laser beam was fired straight up.

"Wow! What firepower!" commented Neon in awe with sparkling eyes.

"Get away!" Samus shouted to everyone.

Raven Beak lowered his arm cannon and aimed the beam at the girls, trying to hit them and causing them to scatter in separate directions.

Samus and Elegg ran together in the same direction, and the beam was being moved in the direction. "Don't come after me! I'm not the fastest runner!" cried Elegg, running fast as she could while looking back. She screamed as the beam came closer and closer to her, but Samus reached out to her hand and grabbed it before forcefully hurling her into the air. "Yaaaaaa!"

Samus jumped up to avoid the beam afterwards, but was struck a bit in the feet and fell back down prematurely behind the beam. Raven Beak was going to move the beam back in her direction to engulf her in it, only to be interrupted by laser beams fired at him by James's Arwing, thus halting the attack earlier than intended.

"You mess with my teammates, you mess with me!" said James.

Raven Beak stood up, and then his armor began to fall apart, exposing most of his body underneath. He breathed heavily as he looked at Samus, who was standing back up and unharmed for the most part.

"Eat my firepower!" shouted Neon from behind suddenly. Raven Beak turned around to see the Elysion Nikke at a close range, and without saying anything else, she fired her shotgun at his chest.

He screamed in pain as the energy pellets burned and even pierced his skin. The others than followed suit by firing from their guns rapidly at him from all directions nonstop.

BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG!

BGM Ends

Raven Beak screamed in pain as the energy bullets pelted him all over the place. When the Nikke stopped firing, he remained standing for a few seconds before falling on his back and lied down motionlessly and silently on the ground.

The Nikke and Samus walked up to him to observe him, making sure that he was dead. Samus scanned his vitals and then said, "He's head. It's over…"

Neon threw a fist into the air and said out loud, "All right! Never underestimate the power of firepower!"

Privaty sighed with relief and then said, "He was pretty strong all right."

"He did hold up well against all of us. He is a Chozo warrior after all," said Samus. "If only he had used his power for good rather than evil…"

"I think someone's approaching," said Diesel, pointing at some spaceships approaching in the distance. Everyone turned to see that this was indeed the case, and they got into fighting stances in preparation for battle.

However, as they got closer, Samus took notice of the ship designs and said, "Wait… Those are Chozo ships!"

The spaceships landed not far away from where they good guys are, and then the hatches opened, from which some Chozo came out of. At the same time, the Arwings landed nearby, and the pilots got out of them to meet up with the others as the Chozo came forward.

The Chozo looked and saw Raven Beak's dead body lying at the side, and then one of them approached the good guys and asked, "Are you the ones who defeated Raven Beak?

Privaty nodded. "Yes, we are the ones who took him out. He was a threat to us all."

"I see…" said the Chozo with a nod. "A tragic end for him… He was a fine warrior, but he wouldn't put away his pride and insisted on the way of warring, which ultimately led to him joining forces with Andross so that he can always fight battles… Perhaps he will finally find peace and rest in the afterlife…"

"Hopefully," said Samus with a nod.

"We would like to thank you for preventing the transportation of the Harmony Cube. We are forever in your debt!" the same Chozo said to them.

All the Chozo bowed down before the good guys, thanking them. "It wasn't a big deal. We did what we had to do!" James told them. "And I thought you were being restrained by Andross's army?"

The Chozo replied, "Yes, but when we learned about your arrival, we were motivated to take action and fight back against our oppressors. In fact, we have been preparing to fight back for some time now, and it was only after your arrival did we finally got the opportunity to take action. Even as we speak, the rest of us are dealing with the remaining enemies. It should not take long before we claim our victory!"

"Good to hear that!" said James, and then he turned to a spacecraft launch center on the other side, the destination Alteisen was heading for. "All that's left is to give that place a good thrashing!"

"Indeed, we must not let the enemies' have a way of transporting our goods away from our planet so easily," agreed the Chozo. "We will go and shut down that place for good!"

Hearing this, Jackal asked, "Are you saying we're still going to have some more fun?"

"If you mean blow up stuff and beat up bad guys, then that sounds like the case!" replied Neon, so Jackal threw her arms into the air in excitement in response.

James turned to the others and said, "All right, guys! We've still got one more thing to deal with! Let's blow up the launch base!"

As everyone was returning to his or her Arwings, Samus approached that Chozo and asked him, "Excuse me for asking this, but may I please have your name?"

The Chozo was a bit curious at the question, but he answered her nonetheless. "My name is Gray Voice."

Samus's eyes widened in surprised underneath her visor, and she smiled as well. "I knew it…! You look just like him!" she thought.

"By the way, I can't help but notice that your armor… Maybe I am wrong, but does it look like it's made using our technology?" Gray Voice asked her.

Samus looked at her own body and then turned around to look at her allies, some of which were looking at her while getting inside their Arwings. She nodded before facing Gray Voice again and replied, "You're going to have a hard time believing what I'm about to tell you."

With the appearance of Alteisen Mk. IV in this chapter, I think you should be beginning to realize that every world will have an appearance from a Tyrant-class boss from Nikke. While that is true, I DO NOT plan to use every single Tyrant-class boss in this story. Some will be omitted for certain reasons.
