Chapter 11 Fifth action / Undead Zebra part 2
NicStar211: Man, I wasn't really looking forward to writing this story, but I've thought of so many plots and future events that I really want to keep writing. The events below may be a little strange, but I'll provide clearer answers in the next chapter.
Edit: I've fixed a few grammatical errors in this chapter. And one more thing, in my country Richard Watterson is called Ricardo Watterson, but I've fixed that in this chapter and I'll fix it in the rest.
And about "Mr. Masami", that was just a typo hehe!
[Dusk]
Darwin began to put his school supplies away in his backpack. With most of the students starting to leave the classroom, the boy sighed tiredly. He puts his backpack on his back and starts walking out of the classroom.
"Hey! Darwin!" A girl calls out, catching Darwin's eye.
"Uh?" Darwin turns around and sees Penny, Carrie and Sarah coming towards him. "What's up? Do you need something?"
"Actually..." Penny hesitates for a moment. "Actually, I was wondering what was wrong with Gumball. He seemed pretty down." Penny asks worriedly.
"He looked really bad, do you know what exactly happened?" Sara asks looking worried.
"Wow... well, he's... he's going through a difficult time." Darwin looks away, apparently he doesn't want to look the girls in the eye.
"Hey, fishy!" Carrie flies over to Darwin and holds his face up to look at her. "You can trust us, we're your friends."
"Ahhh..." Darwin frowns, releases Carrie's hands from his face and turns to leave the room. "I'm sorry, but Gumball asked me not to tell you."
"Well..." Penny approaches Darwin and holds his shoulder. "Take good care of him, okay?" Penny says, sounding very worried about Gumball.
"Right..." Darwin smiles slightly. He releases her hand from his shoulder and starts walking again, leaving the classroom.
The three girls looked at Darwin walking out of the classroom with sad looks on their faces.
"Do you want to visit him to see if he's okay?" Sarah suggested to the other girls.
"I don't know..." Penny hesitates for a moment. She looks out of the window and sees that the sun is starting to set. "Does he really want us to visit him?"
"Look, we've known each other for a long time. And we've done all sorts of crazy things together, we're practically family!" Carrie says excitedly, but she realizes that she's failing to lift the other girls' spirits. "Look, if he's sad, we can help him. At worst, he could be depressed."
"NO!" Penny shouts at the girls. "He... he can't be depressed..." Penny says, sounding anxious. "He... he... he has to be okay..."
"Okay, girl." Carrie approaches Penny to calm her down. "It's decided. We're going to visit him."
The three girls quickly leave the classroom, leaving only Miss Simian, she sighs. Getting up from her desk, she walks over to the window.
"So he really is depressed?" Miss Simian looks at the window, seeing the playground, some houses and the students walking to and from school. "He seemed to be like this ever since... since that damn war started again!" Miss Simian grits her teeth.
Remembering the recordings and the reports about the Undeads and about Blade, she snarls, but manages to calm down again.
"This war of the Undeads... this pointless Battle Royale... back then they almost destroyed the world... and for what? To find out which race would overtake the world." Miss Simian sighs. "And in the end, that war brought its own ruin." The woman laughs ironically.
She looks up at the sky, imagining the consequences of this Battle Royale happening again. "Blade..." Miss Simian laughs. "What a fancy name for a brat who thinks he's a hero." She turns and looks at Gumball's desk. "You've got potential, take care... kid..."

After some time waiting for the bus, the students finally get on it and start traveling home. The bus was packed and full of random chatter from the students.
"What do you want to do tomorrow?" a random student says to another random student.
"No, I know. Maybe I'll watch the League of Legends tournament on my PC." The other student says.
"Haha! A LoL player!" A boy with a bomb head mocks the boys.
"Hey, Darwin!" Sarah shouts as she sits down next to the boy. "We've decided that we're going to accompany you to cheer up Gumball!"
"We?" Darwin asks in surprise.
"Exactly, little fish! Us!" Carrie flies above Darwin while smiling at him. "Me, Sarah and of course Penny!" Carrie indicates Penny, with the girl having a slight blush on her face.
"I... I'm just worried about him." Penny says, killing the serious look. "I really want to help him." Penny clenches her fists in determination.
"Oh, well... if you want to help me, then-" Before Darwin can say anything, police sirens blare past them.
The students move around the bus, going to the window, they see the police cars moving fast and in the same direction as the bus. Most of the students sigh in surprise.
"What do you think it is?" Tobias asks as he watches the policemen.
"Is it Blade? I hope it's Blade!" Banana Joe said excitedly as he watched the cars.
"Are they going to arrest Blade?" Carmen wonders as she watches the cars.
Most of the students kept muttering something, but they stopped immediately when they saw a small explosion nearby. All the students, including the driver, are surprised to see the explosion.
"Everyone, please don't move and don't get off the bus!" Rocky says as he stares at the students.
"Is Blade fighting those monsters?" Clayton wondered as he stared at the place where the explosion had come from. But soon there was another, and another, each time smaller than the last.
"What could that be?" Darwin murmured worriedly. "Gumball..."
"Darwin... didn't the explosion come from your neighborhood?" Tobias pokes the boy's shoulder.
"My... neighborhood..." Darwin spoke confusedly, but he soon realized what Tobias had said. "Gumball!" Darwin shouts worriedly.
Without hesitation, Darwin starts running through the bus. He manages to get past everyone and reaches the exit door, but it's closed.
"Hey, Darwin!" Rocky goes over to the boy and tries to calm him down. "I don't recommend you leave if there's a terrorist attack, then-"
Before Rocky can complete his sentence, Darwin delivers a powerful kick to the door, breaking it instantly and he manages to get off the bus. They start running through the streets towards their house, Darwin just screams in his thoughts. "Get well, get well, get well..." Thinking over and over in his mind as the boy ran.
"Darwin! Wait!" Carrie floats out of the bus, seeing the boy running, she goes over to the other girls. "Let's go!" Carrie pulls Penny and Sara as they follow Darwin.
The other students try to get off the bus to follow them, but are stopped by Rocky. The man looked at the small group who had started running towards the explosions. He could only pray that they wouldn't get hurt as he tried to restrain the other students.
[...]
"With that, the purchase Nicole asked for is done!" Richard said excitedly. He was driving his car while humming mentally, glancing at the back seat and smiling at the purchases he had made. "Huhu! Dinner is promising tonight!"
Richard continued to drive the car, walking towards his house, he felt the explosions and lost his balance a little. Realizing that the explosions seem to be close to his neighborhood, he feels a slight chill, steps on the accelerator and begins to drive towards his house at a faster speed.
"Anais, may you be all right!" Richard holds the steering wheel tightly as he focuses on the way home. Driving through the streets, he feels the explosions of fire, and realizing that it seems to be his house, he speeds up.
Finally arriving at his house, Richard stops the car and gets out. Seeing the entrance to his house destroyed, he tries to run inside, but sees two creatures jumping out. The two creatures land right in front of him and stare at him.
"Who are you!?" Richard speaks hesitantly while maintaining a defensive pose, prepared to strike back at any attack.
The Zebra snarls at the man, and with Ladybug pointing her cannon, she fires a fireball in Richard's direction. With impressive agility, Richard dodges the fireball, reaching for his trash can, she picks it up and throws it at Ladybug. Ladybug fires another fireball at the can and before she can react, Richard lunges at her and punches her in the face.
Ladybug is enraged and tries to counterattack the rabbit man, but Zebra grabs her shoulder and pulls her away. With the two Undeads jumping away, Richard breathes a sigh of relief. But his focus returns to his house and he starts to run inside.
Hearing a faint cry, he enters the house and looks around. He sees that Anais is crying and trying to wake up Gumball, who is passed out on the floor.
"Anais, Gumball!" Richard runs over to the two of them. He crouches down and checks on his two sons.
"Dad... *I cry* the... Gumball... *I cry* him..." Anis tries to explain what happened, but his constant crying doesn't allow it.
"Don't worry." Richard tries to calm her down, he rubs his daughter's ears, before checking Gumball's pulse. Realizing that the boy still has a pulse and is breathing, he sighs. "He's alive."
"Dad... *I cry harder* is he going to die?... I... I didn't want to..." Anais clings to her father's arm as she cries more and more.
"Don't worry, child." Richard reassures his daughter. He takes Gumball in his arms, while Anais clings to his shoulder to accompany him, she also holds Gumball's Driver in her hands. Richard runs out of his house towards his car.
"Watterson! What was that!?" A grumpy old man comes out of the house next door. "What have you done this time?!" This is Mr. Robinson. The man looks at Richard, noticing Gumball passed out and with some burns on his body, he is confused.
"I don't have time to explain, I need to get to the hospital as soon as possible!" Richard says, sounding extremely anxious. He runs towards his car. He puts Gumball in the back seat and Anais next to him. He gets into the driver's seat and quickly starts the car.
"What do you mean? What happened?" Mr. Robinson looks at Ricardo's house and sees the front of the house destroyed and burned. Even though he hates the Wattersons for being... extremely terrible neighbors, he's not a monster. "Do you need me to do something?"
"If Darwin shows up, please let him know!" Richard starts the car and quickly begins to race through the streets.
"..." Mr. Robinson looks at the car driving away, with a look of vague concern for the boy.
Within seconds, police fleets arrive at the Watterson family home. The police quickly cordon off the area, and some enter the house to investigate the situation
"Hey, mister!" The doughnut policeman approaches Mr. Robinson. "Do you mind if I ask you a few questions about what happened?" The policeman approaches and looks into the situation.
"Look, I don't know what happened. I was working on some personal business when I heard an explosion at the Wattersons' house." Mr. Robinson begins to explain what he knows, even though he doesn't seem to be worried about Gumball.
While the policemen were acting, a small group of children ran towards the scene.
"Mr. Robinson!" A thin male voice that the man knew very well calls out to him. "What happened here!?" Darwin asks worriedly. He sees the front of his house and despairs. "No!"
Before Mr. Robinson and the policeman can talk to the boy, Darwin runs into his house. Even though the policemen try to stop him, he manages to escape and enter the house.
"Police!" Carrie flies out with the girls following her. "What happened here? What happened at Gumball's house?"
"I'm sorry, kids. This is official business, you need to stay away for now." The policeman tries to pull the girls away, but one of them is insistent.
"What do you mean? What happened here? What happened at Gumball's house? What happened to Gumball!?" Penny shouts, sounding desperate.
Before Penny can shout any more at the policeman, she sees Darwin being dragged out of the house.
"Where are they? What's happened to my brother!?" Darwin screams in despair as he cries a little.
After a few minutes of trying to calm the boy down, Mr. Robinson finally manages to tell him that his father has taken him to the nearest hospital with his sister. Darwin, without wasting any time, starts running towards the hospital.
"Let's go! He won't make it on his own!" Sarah says, starting to run after the boy along with Penny and Carrie.
[...]
"Ahh..." Nicole sighs as she tries to relax, even though her job doesn't let her relax completely. "I just hope Gumball isn't getting into trouble...hehe." Nicole tries to distract herself, but worry takes over her heart and she senses that something is wrong.
"Nicole, I need to talk to you." A man dressed in an elegant suit and a face like a cloud, yes, he has a head that is a cloud. Don't ask me how. The man, known as Mr. Yoshida, approaches her and catches her eye. "Are the preparations for the meeting with the nine trader ready?"
"Yes, I've just finished the documents." Nicole reaches out to her desk, picking up a folder full of papers. She hands it to the man. "But I still don't understand why he hides his name, he just calls himself Mr. R, why?"
"Nicole, Nicole." Mr. Yoshida shakes his index finger in denial. "We just do the contracts and receive the profit. Customers' personal motives are none of our business."
"I see..." Nicole sighs tiredly. She turns her attention back to her computer to continue with her work.
"You look pretty upset, has something happened?" Mr. Yoshida asks as he raises an eyebrow.
"I just..." Nicole rubs her hand over her forehead to calm herself down. "I'm just going through some personal problems, that's all."
"Well, I suggest you deal with these problems, your performance at the company may decline because of them." Mr. Yoshida says, not seeming to care much.
"Right." Nicole growls a little irritated. Her cell phone rings and she answers the call. "Hello, this is Nicole Watterson. Who is this? Oh, Anais! Did something happen?... calm down, you sound anxious. Tell me slowly what happened?"
Mr. Yoshida watched out of the corner of his eye, seeing that Nicole had started the conversation with a slight smile on her face, but within a few seconds, her smile began to turn into an expression of surprise as her eyes widened.
"Where are you?" were the only words that managed to come out of Nicole's mouth. After a few seconds, Nicole hung up her cell phone and got up from her chair.
"Nicole, what happened?" Mr. Yoshida tries to speak, but in the blink of an eye, Nicole runs past him at top speed.
She passes the staff and reaches the stairs, jumping up, down and sliding masterfully. She reaches the second floor and starts running out of the company.
With Mr. Yoshida and the other employees in total shock at the woman's sudden attitude.

[B.O.A.R.D]
"Oh my God..." Carol tenses as the connection drops. "Gumball..." She tries to call again, but there's no answer. Scrolling through her computer, she sees the signal from the two Undead in the boy's house. After a few seconds, Blade's signal appears on her screen.
Carol worries even more about the fact that Gumball isn't doing very well and that he has two Undeads fighting against him.
"Carol! I need to speak to you urgently." A well-dressed agent in a fancy suit walks up to Carol with a briefcase in his hands. "I need you to give this to Superior Saiko." The man places the briefcase on Carol's desk.
"O... What's this?" Carol asks, taking the case but still worried about the boy.
"This is the new Rider System. It's just been developed and we need Superior Saiko to authorize the compatibility tests." The Man speaks, but he notices the concern on Carol's face. "What happened?"
"Well..." Carol looks at her screen, still seeing the three signs on the screen. "Gumball called me wanting to give up using the Rider System, but now he's fighting two Undead at the same time."
"I knew putting such a responsibility on a young man wouldn't be good..." The man mutters, more out of concern for the boy than for the Rider System. "Is he all right?"
"Apparently..." Carol looks at the screen, seeing that the two Undead have fled and the Blade Sign has disappeared. She jumps in surprise and tries to get a better look, but the data doesn't lie. "They've run away..."
"What?!" The man moves around the table, being able to see the screen he doesn't see the signs. "Shit..." The man mutters. "He really needs help."
"But... he doesn't want to use the Rider System anymore... we can't force him... to fight."
"Yes, but we have no choice. He and his sister were the only ones compatible with the Rider System." The man clenches his fists. "If one of those damn Undeads wins this Battle Royale, we'll be lost."
"I still don't understand... why can't we warn the US military?" Carol asks herself as she looks thoughtful about what she can do.
"Conventional weapons don't work on these monsters. And the government would want to use the power of the Undeads for their own wars." The man speaks angrily. He takes a breath to calm down, and seeing the concern on Carol's face, he calms down. "If this new Rider System works, maybe we can find help for it."
"Yes..." Carol frowns. She looks at the suitcase and sighs. Opening it, she sees the Rider System and a Change card with a stag-beetle with a diamond symbol. The Driver looks the same as Blade's. "Do you have any suggestions as to who could use it?"
"No. That's why I wanted you to hand him over to Superior Saiko." The man speaks worriedly, he looks at Carol and sees her pensive gaze. "For now, I have other matters to attend to. Can you give him the Rider System?"
"Yes..." Carol says. Accepting the answer, the man walks away while speaking into his communicator. "I... I don't know if I should..." Carol becomes pensive, thinking about some important matters.
[...]
(One day later.)
(02:05pm)
(Dream.)
"Hey, kid!" A deep, scary male voice speaks.
With the whole place looking white and empty, Gumball tries to open his eyes, but he can't. The boy feels as if his body is floating and he's in some kind of pool, but with no water.
"Kid, can you hear me?" The same male voice speaks to Gumball.
Gumball remains motionless, feeling his body still floating, he feels the being who was speaking approach him. With a touch on his chest, Gumball feels that the being is by his side.
"Even if you can't hear me, I'll help you." The being sticks its hand inside Gumball's chest, seeming to touch his heart, and Gumball feels a comforting warmth. "With this you should be able to use more of my powers. But don't forget, your will makes your strength."
With that last sentence, Gumball feels his surroundings grow heavy. His body becomes heavy and he feels like he's falling. The fall gets faster and faster. Faster and faster, he wakes up.
(End of dream.)
"AHAAHAHAAHJAGAGAAJAHAHAHAHA!" Gumball wakes up in despair, breathing heavily, he sees his surroundings. "Wha... what?..." Gumball mumbles in surprise and confusion. Seeing that he is in a hospital bed, he becomes even more confused.
"GUMBALL!" A group of familiar voices speak in surprise as the owners of the voices jump on the boy.
Gumball is surprised and frightened by the people's hugs. Feeling suffocated, he tries to free himself from their embrace.
"No... air..." Gumball mutters.
The people let go of Gumball's embrace. With the people now visible, Gumball sees that it was his family.
"Gumball! Are you all right?" Nicole jumps on top of the boy as she checks every corner of her son's body. Seeing the bruises and burn marks.
"Gumball, are you all right?!" Richard stands next to the boy, with a reassuring smile as he strokes his head. "Are you... are you all right?..."
"I... I feel a bit of pain... but I'm fine." Gumball says, laughing a little. He feels a tightness in his body, feeling his mother's embrace, he relaxes a little more.
"I'm really glad... I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the house." Darwin says, breathing heavily.
"I... the house... what, what happened to the house?!" Gumball says, sounding anxious.
"Calm down, son." Ricardo says, calming his son down. "The house is what doesn't matter at the moment, you're our priority." Richard puts his hand on his shoulder.
"I..." Gumball frowns a little.
"Hey, Gumball." Anais says, catching her brother's eye. She climbs onto the bed, getting close to him, Gumball can see the masks of the hanging on her neck. "Thank you... for defending me..." Anais hesitates for a moment, but she jumps on her brother and hugs him tightly.
Gumball is surprised by the action, remembering the terrified face she had shown, he feels guilty. Hugging her back, he begins to cry while hugging his sister.
The other three in the room join in, hugging Gumball as the boy cries.
[...]
After a while of crying, hugging and family time. Richard and Nicole leave the medical room to sort out the bills. Only Gumball, Darwin and Anais were left in that hospital room.
"Are you all right?" Darwin asks, worried about his brother.
"Yeah, don't worry about me. I just need to get enough rest hehe... AI!" Gumball mutters as he feels a punch in his ribcage. "What was that?" Gumball asks Anais.
"You idiot!" Anais says with anger on her face. "You didn't tell me anything and we almost died!"
"I'm sorry, but I really didn't want to involve you in this. I'm really sorry." Gumball tries to apologize, but Anais puts his Driver and Change letter in front of him.
"I saved this for you." Anais says with tears streaming down her face. "Thank you... thank you for saving me from those monsters..."
"...No problem." Gumball strokes his sister's head. "I'll always protect my family."
"Look, Gumball..." Darwin approaches. Drawing their attention. "I... I'm sorry I wasn't there with you to face the Undeads."
"No problem!" Gumball shrugs as he smiles. "That's my responsibility. I'm Blade, aren't I?"
Darwin smiles at him, but inside he still feels guilty. The sound of footsteps echoed nearby. The three of them turn around and see their parents entering the room.
"Children. We have good news and bad news." Nicole says as she enters the room. She looks at her children, and seeing that they look a little happier, she smiles slightly. "Well, the bad news is that we're going to be homeless for a while until the renovation."
"And the good news is that Gumball's work has hospital insurance. So they'll pay for all the medical bills." Richard says, with a slight smile, but still with a bad feeling inside.
"Wow, that's great news!" Darwin says excitedly. "Then we can focus on rebuilding the house."
"But what can we do to help?" Anais says while feeling guilty. Guilty for getting in the way of Gumball. Guilty for being nosy. Guilty for putting herself in danger and getting her brother hurt because of it. She can't help feeling these feelings.
"You two, just look after Gumball. We'll both take care of the rest." Nicole approaches her children and strokes their faces. "Leave it to your father and me to sort it out."
"You two just go downstairs and recover from the shock and your injuries." Richard looks away, giving a slight growl for letting his children be hurt by these monsters.
"Mom..." Gumball catches Nicole's eye. "... I'm sorry... I'm sorry I let that happen..."
"No, honey." Nicole sits down on the bed. Standing next to Gumball, she strokes his head. "This isn't your fault. Those monsters broke into our house, you had no way of knowing this would happen."
Gumball listens to those words, feeling more guilty for having let it happen. He holds his mother's hand and smiles at her. "Right."
Darwin listens to the conversation, feeling useless and guilty for letting his brother get hurt. He feels down, but he hears a faint whisper. "Go to B.O.A.R.D..." Darwin moves his head, trying to find the source of the voice, but he can't see anything. "Go to B.O.A.R.D..." Darwin hears the voice again, but he feels confused and slightly desperate.
"Darwin, has something happened?" Richard approaches his son, holding his shoulders he looks at his son.
"No... it's nothing..." Darwin says, still looking shaken.
They hear noises, and looking at the TV on the wall, they hear a news report. "Important news! Two monsters have kidnapped people and are holding them in Elmore Park!" The TV shows a scene captured by a helicopter. It shows the two Undeads in Elmore Park, with Zebra relaxing while sitting on the park's water fountain. While Ladybug is circling the place, shooting fireballs at anyone who comes near.
While people are tied up and being held and restrained. With most of the people crying and despairing. The two Undeads snarled at the approaching people and attacked anyone who came near.
"I urge everyone to stay indoors and isolate themselves." A policeman speaks in the interview. Trying to reassure people.
The footage shows some police officers shooting and trying to eliminate the Undeads, but it has no effect. The Undead attack the policemen, leaving some injured and others severely wounded.
Gumball looks at the news, feeling desperate. He looks at his family staring at the news in shock at what has happened. In one swift movement, Gumball gets out of bed and tries to walk to the door, but he stumbles and almost falls to the ground, but his father manages to hold him up.
"Gumball! What are you doing?" Richard asks worriedly as he lifts his son up in his arms.
"Let go of me. I have to go." Gumball tries to free himself from his father's arms, but he can't.
"Gumball, don't be an idiot! You'll die if you go there!" Anais says to the boy.
"I know... but if I don't go they'll die..." Gumball says, breathing heavily.
"Gumball." Nicole speaks with a frank and stern tone of voice, the room falls silent as everyone stares at the woman. "You've just gotten out of a dangerous situation and almost died, and you're going to do another stupid thing?"
"Mom..." Gumball takes a breath, trying to calm himself he looks into his mother's eyes. "I have to do this... only I can stop those creatures." Gumball pleads. Even if he doesn't want to go and face the Undeads, he has to.
"You're irresponsible." Nicole says with an irritated wetness. But in a few seconds her gaze turns welcoming, and she approaches her son. Giving him a kiss on the forehead, she looks into her son's eyes. "Then go and get them, Blade."
Gumball is surprised by his mother's words, but he feels a strong warmth and determination explode inside him. He nods, grateful for his mother's decision.
"Richard, take him. And don't let him die." Nicole says to her husband with a frank look.
Richard nods. Running through the corridors, he leads Gumball to the car.
"Mom, why did you let him go? He's going to die!" Anais says, sounding a little desperate.
"No, honey." Nicole goes over to her daughter, picking her up on her lap. She looks at her with a gentle gaze. "I've known your brother since he was born, he can be irresponsible and a bit jealous, but he has a strong sense of protection." Nicole reassures her daughter. "I'm completely sure that he won't die."
Anais is still worried, but decides to believe her mother. Darwin watched the scene, still feeling useless, he heard the whisper again. "Go to B.O.A.R.D..." Darwin felt a strong shiver run through his body. Feeling something like a call, he looks out of the window, seeing nothing, but he gets up and starts running.
"Darwin, where are you going?!" Nicole asks worriedly, but Darwin just ignores her. "He's going there..." Nicole feels the weight of her decision and feels like she's going to burst into tears.
"Mom." Anais holds her mother's face, trying to calm her down, she looks into her eyes. "Mom, believe them. You said it yourself. Gumball won't die."
Even though she feels desperate, she forces herself to calm down. She looks at her daughter and gives her a slight smile.
With a hooded figure in a black cloak, he watched the two in that hospital room. Giving a slight laugh, he jumps away, passing the roof of the houses, he walks away.

Darwin arrives at B.O.A.R.D feeling extremely exhausted, he looks into the hall and sees two people, Miss Carol and a well-dressed man, both of whom seem to be watching the computer screen looking very worried. He walks over to them and catches their eye.
"You!" Darwin shouts breathlessly. "You..."
Saiko and Carol turn around, watching Darwin. They are surprised by the boy's sudden arrival.
"Darwin? O... what are you doing here?" Carol asks in surprise at the boy's sudden arrival.
"Who is he?" Saiko asks, turning to Carol.
"Gumball..." Darwin says, still panting. "You... you know a way to help him, don't you?" Darwin says irritated and tired.
The two looked at each other in confusion and concern. Before turning to the boy.

With a quick movement, Ricardo stops the car near the park. Stopping in a slightly secluded spot while observing the throng of people, he turns to Gumball and sees that the boy still looks tired.
"Gumball, you don't have to do this. We can still go back." Richard speaks, but Gumball holds out his hand to silence him.
"No..." Gumball stands up, getting out of the car and facing the people. Breathing in and out, he calms down. "If I'm the only one who can do it, I will." He looks at his father. Giving a smile, he walks away. "Stay close in case the worst happens..."
Gumball walks towards the park, he picks up a cloak from nearby. He puts it on himself. He turns back to his father.
"I'll sort it out." Gumball smiles again.
Ricardo hesitantly nods to his son. Gumball walks towards the people, passing between them as the cloak covers his body and face. He walks past the people and dodges the policemen.
He stares at the two Undeads, who stare back. The three of them stare at each other in silence. The policemen try to approach the boy to get him out of there, but the Ladybird Undead shoots towards them, preventing them from getting any closer.
The wind hangs in the air, leaving the room in total silence, the boy pulls out his Driver and his Change card. Placing the card in the Driver, he lets go of it, the Driver begins to fly around the boy, with the Driver fitting around his waist. He strikes his pose. Taking a breath, he shouts with all his might.
"HENSHIN!" Gumball pulls the side of his Driver, causing it to turn around and show the symbol of the Spades.
Turn-Up
A giant blue card with a Hercules Beetle symbol appears in front of Gumball. The card passes through the boy, causing his Rider armor to appear on his body.
People gasp in surprise, seeing the hero in front of them and him having just transformed in a very different way. Newspaper cameras recorded every second, not missing a single detail.
Blade faced the two Undeads, drawing his Blay Rouzer and getting into a fencing stance. Bringing his legs together, his left arm in front of him, while his right arm, which held his sword, rose slightly behind him.
"You two..." Blade spoke in a weak but strong voice. "You will both fall today." Blade speaks, preparing to attack.
