Hello and welcome back. Hope everyone had a nice start to their new year. Mine was painfully boring. Had this episode and some last minute tweaking to fill the time though so that was fun.
Guest: Don't think you're the only one with those opinions lol.
WheelKirby: Blee was right lol, it was mainly inspired by Riya's DC move. Not really high on that show but it did have a couple neat ideas in there. Did have Scott in mind while writing though.
blee7442: Yeah I totally get not being a fan of the elimination. The thing with MK and Cassie is that I wanted to branch out their interactions a bit more and not make it seem like they were only interacting with each other despite being on different teams. Cassie was trying to come clean to Harvey about the confessionals but never got the chance. She did leave him her MP3 player though and who knows what's on that? As for the other idol, it's still hidden as of right now. And MK knew thanks to the confessionals that Cassidy would be a huge problem with both the Trout idol, an alliance with Priya and potentially a solid in with Harvey and his alliance. All that and the potential to expose her meant she had to strike first. I wouldn't exactly say that any of their plots stopped suddenly, they just changed or shifted to other people getting involved.
Fireball88: Zee is pretty much that one person who just enjoys every single aspect of their life back home where as almost everyone else just talks about their negative experiences. His short bond with that racoon during Season 2 was so wholesome, had me convinced that he had to have a little sibling or two back home to look after. And he just gives off the cool older brother/uncle kinda vibes. MK and Priya were also a fun dynamic which we obviously don't get much of. I always think MK would just have the funniest reactions to learning about Priya's homelife since she pretty much has no filter for anyone.
CodeTransformers: It's still gonna be 16 episodes and 30 days for the whole season. The final 4 challenge will just occur on Day 29 instead of Day 30 which will be the finale. The rest of the canon challenges will still play out as usual since these are all actually really solid in my book. I wanted to try for 20 episodes with either non elims or Playa des Losers episodes inbetween but those just weren't as fun to write and I just wanted to go for a more consistent flow. Good point on MK btw, her actions in both canon seasons ended up more so benefiting or setting up Bowie and Julia respectively than herself.
Here we go, time for Episode 10.
REMAINING PLAYERS.
Bowie
Chase

EPISODE 10: SEEKERS GONE SAVAGE
"Last time on Total Drama Island! The final 10 campers were all merged, meaning it was everyone for themselves. But they paired off to go and find me some cassowary eggs. Julia ditched Bowie and thought she had won immunity, but her egg turned in to a baby. Gross. In reality, the duo of MK and Priya combined their strengths and were the first duo to arrive back with eggs, bagging them both immunity from elimination. After Cassidy called off their alliance, for fear of exposing her as a thief, MK planted all of her stolen goods in Cassie's bag, leading Julia to find it and accuse Cassidy for all of MK's dirty work and became outcasted from the group. But at least she had the Immunity Statue. Oh wait, MK stole that too. Wow this girl is ruthless! And despite Harvey's best efforts to get the votes on Chase instead, Cassidy said goodbye after her chances on the show cracked like an egg with Harvey and Priya now on wobbly ground. Who will crack today? Chances are it's the person you least expect. Right here, On Total Drama Island!"
MESS HALL: DAY #19.
Bowie and Emma were eating their breakfast when something was on Emma's mind which Bowie easily picked up. "What's up? Usually you'd be halfway to town on that slop by now. And you got your hairbrush back!"
"I just don't get it, who else tried to vote out Chase?" Emma's mind was stuck on the last elimination where Chase was in the bottom 2.
"I mean can you blame them? With all the drama you guys had going on, it seemed like an easy way to go." Bowie shrugged. "And after you both got back together? It's almost like all that time you spent ranting was a big ol waste of my time."
"I mean life sure is funny sometimes." Emma laughed at the memories, oblivious to Bowie being annoyed.
"I gotta get going. I promised Raj we'd try fishing." Bowie got up and wasted no time leaving Emma by herself.
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE
"I can't let Emma know that Chase was gonna catch votes or she'll assume I was in on it. So I gotta zip the lip for now." Bowie explained. "And if Harvey gets caught? I'm sorry but he's on his own. His fault for buddying up with a thief."
Julia was watching the two from the next table over and had a plan. "Hey Emma!"
"What do you want Julia?" Emma groaned, not wanting to listen to the fake influencer.
"You can be mad at me but remember, I was the one who gave you all your stuff back and voted out the thief." Julia defended. "Your boyfriend was supposed to go home last night and I put a stop to it."
"Like I'm gonna believe you." Emma exclaimed, not paying much attention to her words.
"Honestly I'm still surprised you have an alliance after what Harvey tried to do." Julia brought up.
"I don't even care what you mean by that... but what do you mean by that?" Emma eventually caved in.
"Harvey tried to get a plan together to vote off Chase." Julia lied.
"What? No he didn't! He would never do that!" Emma denied initially.
"Emma, think about it. Haven't you noticed Harvey and Cassie talking a bunch lately?" Julia brought up which got Emma to think. "It's clear he's mega jealous of you two and Bowie and Raj. Think of the numbers. It couldn't have been you, Bowie, Raj or Zee. MK wanted Cassie out for a while and I booted her for being a thief. That just leaves Priya and Harvey."
"Well... that's... hold on! You're just trying to break up my alliance!" Emma accused.
"Believe what you want. But at least I've been honest with you. If you think he didn't choose his new friends over you guys because he felt like a fifth wheel, then maybe I was right about what I said at the talent contest." Julia explained before walking off, leaving Emma to sit there, thinking to herself.
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
"I don't really care if Cassie was the thief or not, I was just looking for an easy scape goat and I still managed to bait a couple people to vote for Chase. That'll get some trouble in paradise going for Harvey and Emma. After all, friends are like zits. I don't have any, I don't want any, and I hate other people who have them." Julia compared the two. "Luckily, they're easy to pop!"
CONFESSIONAL: EMMA
"I trust Harvey, there's no way he woulda tried voting off Chase behind my back." Emma confidently stated before pausing. "Would he?"
Later that day, Priya was sitting alone, feeling down now that another one of her allies have gotten the boot. Harvey noticed her sitting by herself and decided to join her.
"You miss her too, huh?" Harvey asked. Priya could only nod in response.
"I thought she'd end up hating me for the rest of the season after I voted out Millie by mistake." Priya admitted, thinking back to the 5th elimination which continues to haunt her. "Boney Island really brought us closer."
"It was nice to have people to talk to who didn't have relationship problems." Harvey let out a laugh which didn't go unnoticed by Emma who was just eating at the table opposite. She then got up to leave, starting to gain second thoughts about Harvey.
"So... are you sure she isn't the thief?" Harvey found himself asking before he could stop himself.
"She is not that kinda person! Sure she doesn't talk to a lot of people but there's no way she'd stoop that low." Priya defended her friend, almost mad at Harvey for even asking.
"Sorry. I just... I always end up trusting the wrong people. And there was something Cassie wanted to tell me a couple times and I couldn't tell if that was it." Harvey tried explaining himself.
"Maybe it was something personal." Priya wondered. "I read somewhere that one of the best ways to bond with people is to share personal secrets with each other. For example, my parents only celebrated my birthday if my training was up to par."
"Birthdays huh? I forgot people celebrated those." Harvey stated which got Priya to pause and look at him funny.
"You don't celebrate your birthday?" Priya asked, feeling shocked.
"The only thing I celebrate is my minimum wage going up." Harvey joked but found out Priya wasn't laughing. "Okay fine. My parents never had enough money to spare. So we never did anything."
"Wow, that's actually kinda sad." Priya fell silent. "When's your next birthday?"
"In around 3 and a half months. Maybe if I get enough paychecks, I can hire Cassie as my DJ." Harvey thought up.
"That's the spirit! And don't forget, we both still have a shot at a million bucks." Priya reminded him.
"That definitely lifts the spirits." Harvey agreed before the two went back to eating.
CONFESSIONAL: HARVEY
"Before she left last night, Cassie gave me her MP3 player." Harvey held up, feeling slightly skeptical. "I'm still not sure if she was hiding something but I have a gut feeling she was set up. It was messed up. So I'm gonna do my best to find out who framed her, and hopefully get to listen to her awesome music in the meantime."
THE BEACH: DAY #19.
Bowie sat with Raj as the latter was fishing with a rod that he found from the boat house.
"If we can net a couple of these fish before game time tomorrow, we'll be in perfect shape!" Raj explained though was having no luck getting a bite.
"Since when were you in to fishing?" Bowie asked with an amused smile.
"It's not just fishing, I love the water!" Raj exclaimed. "Before hockey, I got in to competitive swimming, water polo and fishing!"
"They've got competitive fishing back in Alberta?" Bowie chuckled.
"Wayne told me you can make anything competitive if you put your mind to it." Raj responded.
"So how did you two meet anyway?" Bowie wondered, knowing this was going to be an interesting story.
"Wayner and I first butted heads in the hot dog eating contest during the 4th of July on Summer Break. He's been the champ for 3 years running!" Raj recalled. "He still beat me by like 7 wieners but liked my spirit and invited me to tryouts. We've been best buds ever since."
"That's... actually kinda adorable." Bowie admitted.
CONFESSIONAL: RAJ
"Bowie and I are in such a good spot right now, it's kinda like I'm back home again." Raj laughed. "We both agreed to try out roller skating for our first date. It's kinda like ice hockey but without the hypothermia if you're not wearing a jacket."
"So, Emma and Chase, huh? Who coulda seen those two getting back together?" Bowie changed the topic, unsure if he was being sarcastic or not.
"Hey, more power to them. It doesn't sound easy working things out with an ex." Raj responded, respecting the two for managing to give it another shot.
"I can tell you from experience, it for sure isn't. I mean, people break up for a reason, right?" Bowie brought up.
"I remember Wayne during his first break up. Only time he's ever skipped out on practice." Raj remembered. "But he got over it after we had fun on the ice together."
"That's nice! What was the girl's name?" Bowie wondered, mildly surprised Wayne got a girlfriend.
"Oh, it wasn't a girl. Wayne found out if he wanted to make it as a professional hockey player, he had to give up one of his favorite hobbies for more practice time." Raj explained further. "He was really torn up over that guitar. Said it felt like a break up to him."
"That does sound very Wayne." Bowie admitted with a laugh of his own. "I guess I just don't want Emma to go through that with Chase again."
"When I'm on the ice, I just let the ice take me. I don't wanna force anything. Then I get the puck and I score the touchdown. If I don't, I end up spitting teeth out for weeks at the dentist." Raj told him.
"So... you're saying I should just let Emma figure her thing with Chase out on her own?" Bowie gathered from Raj's comparison.
"I guess? I don't know. I'm not great with these things." Raj shrugged, he then felt a pull on his fishing rod. "Hey! I think I got one! Help me pull!"
Bowie got up and pulled along with Raj. "Wow, how big is this thing?"
The two kept going until they fell on the side of the dock. Raj got up and glanced at Bowie. "Hey! Nice catch!"
Bowie was shown giving a thumbs up underneath the giant fish they caught.
MESS HALL: DAY #20.
MK and Chase arrived at the Mess Hall at around the same time and noticed Zee standing in front of the vending machine.
"Yo guys! Check it out! This black box just got an upgrade!" He told them as MK and Chase both looked to see what new items were available.
"Total Drama t-shirts... Total Drama hats... Total Drama Chris trophies..." Chase read off the top row. "10 bucks for a trophy?"
"Total Drama stickers... Total Drama flags... Total Drama candied fish tails?" MK scratched her head at the last one before feeling disappointed. "This is all just crummy merchandise!"
"Now available on the Total Drama web!" They all heard from a megaphone nearby.
"Huh, they've even got plushies." MK pointed at the bottom row which had a selection of stuffed toys.
"No way! My sis had always wanted one of these!" Zee claimed excitedly before glancing at the price "Aw man? 30 bucks? Can you guys spare some change?"
"Meh, here's 5. Like I'm gonna use em." MK pulled out 5 drama dollars from winning the challenge and handed them over to Zee before walking off.
"I could give you 5 drama dollars..." Chase thought to himself before coming up with an idea. "On one condition."
The scene then cut to the two of them in the forest with a sleeping bear. Zee standing next to the bear, looking nervous and holding a feather. Whilst Chase was standing oppositie him.
"Alright man, all you gotta do is tickle that bear and hide when it wakes up." Chase then looked around and saw a camera tied to a tree recording him. He wasted no time ripping it off and pointing it at Zee.
"Doesn't this sorta seem like a bad ídea? Aren't bears super angry and stuff?" Zee scratched his head, wondering why Chase wanted to do this.
"That's the whole point!" Chase explained. "This is gonna look great on my livestream."
CONFESSIONAL: CHASE
"With the way things are going, I know my livestream's gonna plummet now that I've been missing in action for 3 weeks. And there's no way Brody and Miles can pick up the slack without the main man around." Chase explained before holding up the camera he grabbed. "I just need a stunt that's gonna win them back, and Zee? He's a content machine!"
"Alright, 3, 2, 1 and we're rolling!" Chase confirmed as he hit record on the camera.
Zee slowly approached the bear, the feather inching closer to its nose until...
"Oh, wait!" Chase called as Zee froze in place. "Accidentally put it in selfie mode. Why does this camera have a selfie mode?"
"All good, man?" Zee spoke through his teeth, not wantinig to wake the bear.
"How do you work these buttons?" Chase mumbled before finally hitting the right one. "Okay, got it!"
Zee went back to sneaking up on the bear. It's breathing like a gust of wind on his arm.
"What do you mean the card is full? Ugh, hang on!" Chase held up the scene once more and Zee was forced to hold an even more awkward position.
"Come on man, I think he's waking up..." Zee tried warning Chase as he was forced to watch the bear stir in its sleep.
"Wow, with that much storage you'd think they were recording us 24/7." Chase laughed to himself before lifting the camera back up, noticing there was something missing. "Uh, dude? Where's the bear?"
Zee pointed a shaky finger to behind where Chase was standing as he came face to face with the grizzly animal.
"Let's get outta here!" Zee pointed back to camp where Chase followed.
The two fled the scene with the bear following their path. Chase then brought up the camera to face himself, managing to get the bear in the shot.
"What's up? It's your boy, Chase! This bear just got owned and now I'm running for my life." Chase got out his words as he noticed through the lense that the bear was getting closer to him, forcing out a scream from him. "DONT FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE! GAHHH!"
Chase threw the camera over his shoulder, striking the bear on the head and knocking it unconscious. Him and Zee ran back in to the Mess Hall and slammed the door behind them, not wanting the bear to burst in.
"That... was... awesome!" Chase cheered. He then noticed the 7 other campers all staring at the two of them. "Uh... morning guys."
"Morning babe." Emma waved back at him.
"I'm not even gonna ask." MK rolled her eyes, not interested in knowing what circus act the two got involved in.
"My man! That video's gonna be a total hit!" Chase turned to Zee and pulled out his five drama dollars to hand to him as promised. "Let's do more crazy stuff tomorrow!"
As Chase left to get his breakfast, Zee froze in place, still in shock before snapping out of his daze and looking at his hand. "Woah! Money!"
Everyone sat down and ate together before the dreaded announcement for the challenge arrived.
"Campers! Report to the dock of shame in 10 minutes. This challenge is gonna be a good one." Chris reported from his megaphone.
DOCK OF SHAME: DAY #20.
"Last challenge you guys proved you were good at hiding from Cassowaries. Today's challenge will prove who's the best at not standing out." Chris announced to the remaining group.
"Not standing out? Have you seen these people?" MK pointed back at everyone else, a lot of them being attention seekers to her.
"Which is why this challenge is perfect." Chris responded. "You will all have 10 minutes to hide anywhere on the Island before Chef comes looking for you. With his military background and advanced degree in manhunting, he's the perfect fit to make this challenge a lot more interesting."
Chef was seen standing off to the side equipped with a paintball gun before continuing the rules. "After your 10 minutes is up, I'll come hunt you down. If you get shot with a paintball, you're out. If you're the last one standing or if you're the first to ring this bell at home base, immunity is yours."
He pointed at the newly installed bell tied to the dock that he rang 3 times whilst Chris wrapped things up.
"Meaning that the rest of you are fair game to get voted out, well, unless you have an immunity statue." Chris finished and MK let out a grin.
CONFESSIONAL: MK
"Hiding from people? Man was this challenge tailor made for me of what?" MK laughed at her luck. "Time to make it 2 in a row."
"Wait, where are we supposed to hide?" Zee raised his hand absent mindedly.
"Go!" Chris called where everyone else apart from the soda drinker split and ran off.
"What gives? Do I smell bad?" Zee took a moment to sniff his pits. "Coulda sworn I showered this morning."
"Dude! Go!" Chris yelled to which Chef's presence made Zee run for his life.
CONFESSIONAL: ZEE
"I felt bad about giving Cassie the boot but it's all apart of my brain game!" Zee revealed. "Whenever I face a tough decision on who to vote out, I just go alphabetically! And my name always comes last, so I'm never voting myself off!"
Priya headed in to the woods and saw a spacious pond with ducks. She glanced around, making sure no one was around to snitch on her before she dove underwater, using a straw to breathe through.
CONFESSIONAL: PRIYA
"For one of our games at paintball camp, we did hide and seek near a lake. I hid under water for the whole game using only a bendy straw from my lunch. It took the supervisors 3 hours after the game to find me." Priya bragged. "I might've missed one of my bunkmates birthday parties after that but it was so worth it."
MK meanwhile peeked outside from the boat house she used back in the Skull challenge. She figured she was in the clear before bumping in to Julia who was looking in the other direction.
"What the?" They both questioned at the same time. "What are you doing here? This is my hiding spot! No! This is my hiding spot!"
"I got here first! I have dibs." Julia crossed her arms, refusing to move.
"Yeah? Well I can rat you out to Chef right now." MK threatened with a devious grin.
"Oh you wouldn't..." Julia sighed, knowing there was no other way out of this. "Fine, you can stay. But if he finds us, I'm making sure he blasts you first."
"Aw, thanks for giving that away." MK winks, leaving Julia all the more annoyed.
Emma, Bowie and Harvey were all walking through the forest, trying to find places to hide.
"I can go by myself for a bit. We stand out too much like this." Harvey suggested.
"Wait!" Emma grabbed his shoulder before he could walk away. "We can hide up the hill, away from everyone. That's the last place Chef would think to look."
"You sure? That's a bit of a long climb." Harvey scratched his head, looking at the hill. "And I've never had great memories with hills or cliffs."
"Let's move." Bowie cut them both off and walked towards it with Emma and Harvey following him.
CONFESSIONAL: EMMA
"Okay, maybe I believe Julia and maybe I don't but until I find out, but until I find out if Harvey voted for Chase, I'm not letting him out of my sight or win immunity so he can plot with other people." Emma crossed her arms.
"Attention campers! Chef is now on the move! Ready your butts in gear!" Chris called out from his megaphone while Chef loaded up his paintball gun.
Raj was in the middle of climbing on top of one of the trees, hoping that he'll get the height advantage over Chef in this challenge, the climb was only made more challenging with the tree violently wobbling and even a couple of the birds flying around him.
"Phew, guess you could say I'm on top of things today, huh?" Raj laughed nervously. "Man I haven't been this high up since that 100ft drop in Water World."
Eventually the trio of Emma, Harvey and Bowie managed to all make it up the hill and looked down.
"Good thinking Em. Even if Chef caught us, it'll take forever for him to make it up here." Bowie said in-between trying to catch his breath.
"Yup, I just asked myself what would Chase do." Emma explained while glancing at Harvey who looked away awkwardly.
"That's... nice." He tried passing off.
"Yeah, it is. He inspires me." Emma folded her arms and glared at him.
"Right, channeling your inner Chase, I get it." Harvey told her, hoping to change the topic.
"Because Chase is the on again off again love of my life and knowing that 3 people voted for him, really hurt. Especially if one of those votes came from someone close to me, then I'd want them to be honest." Emma continued interrogating Harvey who continued looking away.
CONFESSIONAL: BOWIE
"Wow, you could feel the tension on both sides." Bowie clapped his hands. "I am loving every second of this. Emma knows something's up. We'll just have to see how long it takes before Harvey folds. 10 bucks says he won't last for another 5 minutes."
CONFESSIONAL: HARVEY
"It wasn't even my plan to vote Chase off! It was Julia's. I only went along with it because I didn't want Emma's heart broken again and Cassie was one of my friends. There's no way she coulda been the thief!" Harvey glanced at the MP3 player she left him. "And her music is awesome. I was never big on new age music, but it's slowly growing on me."
"I mean the important thing is that he's still here, and he's still with you, and he makes you happy... which makes me happy. Because we're a team. Go us!" Harvey stuttered. Which Emma watched him skeptically before walking off, making him sigh in relief.
Raj eventually made it to the top but spotted something odd. There was a green statue that was carved like a frog. Raj picked it up, confused.
"What is this?" Raj asked himself, remaining clueless. "Ah well, must be a growth spurt. Man, trees are weird."
He went ahead and threw it away where it continued to fly through the air until it ended up on the roof of the Mess Hall.
Speaking of, inside the Mess Hall kitchen were Chase and Zee, raiding out Chef's kitchen with all sorts of snacks and drinks, taking their time enjoying them.
"Dude, these taste amazing." Zee said in awe, enjoying a bowl of chips.
"I figured if Chef's gonna be out all day, what better place is there to chill than home base?" Chase laughed as he cracked open a bottle of soda. "This beats Chef's slop any day."
"You should totally bring Emma back here sometime." Zee pointed out in-between mouthfuls.
"Hmm... this could be a good makeout spot..." Chase pondered to himself.
"Oh my bad, yo. I meant with the food. I'm sure she'd be stocked." Zee specified. "She seems kind of, I dunno, out of it? With Chef's cooking."
"Are you kidding? That's the best part. Seeing her freak out is awesome and hilarious. Why do you think I prank her so much?" Chase laughs off, chugging the rest of his soda.
"But... I thought you two were cool again." Zee scratched his head.
"Oh we are. It'll be perfect for the livestream. We can go back to how things were. I betcha she was thinking of what the fans want too." Chase explained. "I've already got a boatload of pranks planned for her when she moves back in with us."
"Isn't that kinda harsh? Don't you wanna mellow things out?" Zee wondered, curious about Chase's true feelings.
"Zee, my man. Girls love the attention. It doesn't matter what you do to them." Chase said with an arm around his shoulder, bragging gleefully.
"Man, I must've been getting girls wrong this whole time." Zee concluded, feeling speechless.
CONFESSIONAL: CHASE
"Back in High School, Emma was a real firecracker. Probably had something to do with not having many friends. But I got her over to my channel and her prank reactions were a real hit. That's when I knew she was the one." Chase reminisced with a smile. "I ticked all the boxes, taking her out to dinner, watching a movie, I even let her eat my leftover snacks before I'd go extreme mountain biking with the boys."
"Not only that, it's been a real pain renting out her room to Miles's pet wolf. He poops everywhere!" He brought up, looking forward for Emma to take that room back. "Room hasn't been cleaned in weeks."
Chef kept prowling the area until he came across an unstable looking tree, hearing voices come from the top.
"Then, after we all took the slide down, our whole team got stuck!" Raj looked as though he was telling the birds about his time at the water park. "Took the staff a while to bail us out but we got banned after that. Totally foul pla... WOAH!"
"Had a nice chat?" Chef called from below as he yanked the tree closer and closer to him with Raj on top.
"Oh boy, time to make a break for it!" Raj panicked as he leapt from one tree to the next. "Woohoo!"
Chef attempted to shoot him with the paintball gun but was too late as Raj made for a full sprint. Chef crossed his eyes and pursued him on foot.
The sounds were enough to reach the top of the mountain where Emma, Bowie and Harvey remained, watching out for Chef.
"Did you guys hear that?" Harvey asked, worried.
"Eh, it was probably nothing. In the meantime, we need to talk." Emma turned to Harvey who started to get more nervous.
"Uh... is now really a good time?" Harvey met her cold gaze.
"Well for a talk like this, it's never a good time." Emma continued to push.
"Ugh! Fine! What is it?" Harvey gave up trying to avoid the conversation any longer.
"You've always hated Chase." Emma simply stated.
"What? Why would you think that?" Harvey responded, trying to figure out how much Emma knew.
"While we were broken up, I said some awful things about Chase. And you agreed with me! How dare you!" Emma pointed a finger at him.
"Um, is that a question?" Harvey started backing up to the edge of the cliff with Emma inching closer to him.
"Admit it! You were trying to keep us apart because you hated him and when we got together, you tried going behind my back to vote him off with Cassie!" Emma rambled on. "Meaning that you probably helped her steal my hairbrush, right after you tried motivating me at that talent show. I could've lost my hair because of you!"
"Wha... I... okay fine!" Harvey admitted. "I tried voting him off, happy?"
"What gives? I thought we were friends!" Emma continued arguing, her voice growing weaker, feeling hurt and betrayed.
"You think I wanted to be a part of this drama between you and Chase? No! I just wanted to be there for you. But I guess even that was crossing a line!" Harvey defended, feeling like he was holding this in for far too long. "I try and see the best in people sometimes. That's why I stood by Cassie! And that's why I still wanted to be your friend no matter how pathetic I thought it was for you to get back together with him again! That day you got back together with him, I lost almost all respect for you."
Emma was left speechless and looked down at the floor before shaking her head and turning around. "You and I are done. The alliance is over."
Bowie just stood there awkwardly as Harvey sighs and turns to start walking down the hill.
"Fine, but I didn't steal your hairbrush. And I wasn't leading you on. But believe what you want." Harvey told her before taking his leave.
"Well... that could've gone better." Bowie told the camera, feeling the awkwardness in the air.
The musty air hung heavy in the boat house, punctuated by the occasional drip of water from the leaky roof. MK, perched on a rickety bench, let out a dramatic sigh. "Well, this is just peachy," she drawled, her voice dripping with mock despair. "Stuck in a glorified shed with the queen of selfies."
"Oh you think you have it rough?" Julia forcefully laughed. "I left my phone in the cabins. I could have gone live right now for all my fans!"
MK snorted. "Your 'fans'? You'd be surprised how quickly they forget you if you disappear from their feed for a day or two. Especially if you're not posting pictures of yourself in a bikini."
"Wow, you're so good." Julia sarcastically pointed out. "Maybe if you hit up a couple 80s stand up shows, you won't look like you just spent the night in the dumpster. And yet here you are thinking you're so much better than everyone else."
This surprisingly hit a nerve with MK who just rolled her eyes. "Oh I'm not better than everyone else, just better than you. Which is already a low bar."
"It's a shame I can't block you from my life." Julia responded as she sat back down, not intending to leave.
They glared at each other, their animosity flaring like a bonfire.
"Pfft, come on! We both know you're-" MK started before Julia rushed to cover her mouth.
"Shh! I hear something..." Julia whispered.
Outside, Raj continued running away from Chef, dodging his paintball blasts. "Man! You're lucky we aren't on the ice right now, I woulda smoked you!"
"Okay, they're gone." Julia slowly lifted her hand back up.
"Got any other bright ideas that don't involve suffocating me?" MK asked in her usual sarcastic tone.
"As if we stand much more of a chance just staying in here." Julia sat back down and sighed to herself.
MK took a few moments to think to herself before an idea struck her head. Not wasting any time. She went to one of the crates and started rummaging through them.
"What are you doing?" Julia looked over to where she was searching.
"This is supposed to be where Chris and Chef store all their challenge goodies, right?" MK responded as she found what she was looking for, pulling out two paintball guns near identical to the one Chef was carrying. "Chris only said if you got hit by a paintball, you were out. He never said it had to come from Chef."
Julia's face then lit up, the idea slowly growing on her. "So you're saying we can knock everyone else out of the challenge?"
"Then when it's just us two, we'll do a classic shoot off. Winner takes all. You in?" MK extends her hand, wondering if they had a deal.
"Whatever, I'll shake on it." Julia couldn't help but admit this idea was smart as she accepted MK's handshake.
"See? I knew there were a couple braincells rolling around in there." MK quickly taunted before opening the door to check that the coast was clear. "Now come on! This way!"
Julia rolled her eyes while letting out a smirk as she followed MK's lead.
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
"I gotta say, MK can be not so useless sometimes when she wants to be." Julia laughed to herself. "It's like when my dad would lend me money for spa day and I would always 'forget' to pay him back. Whatever. The lawyers always figure this stuff out."
The two of them snuck out and surprisingly didn't run in to Chef who was likely still busy pursuing Raj. They kept themselves hidden, waiting for anyone to pass by. That was until they saw their first victim.
"She spends two weeks ranting about her ex only to get back together with him and blames me just for agreeing with her. I swear guys are so much easier to understand sometimes." Harvey mumbled to himself, remaining unaware of the two girls eavesdropping on his internal ranting.
"Ooh, looks like someone just got dumped from their alliance." Julia snickered, assuming that her plan of making Emma doubt Harvey worked.
"Easy pickings." MK nodded as her and Julia prepared their guns and aimed at their target.
MK held up 3 fingers to countdown from three. When she reached zero, her and Julia opened fire and blasted Harvey with paintballs.
"GAH!" Harvey yelled, falling down in a daze, covered head to toe in black paint.
"What a whiner." Julia shook her head at him. "What say we hit the Mess Hall next?"
"I'm right behind you." MK nodded as the two left the scene.
"What's the big idea?" Harvey yelled at them as they left. He rolled his eyes and eyed the MP3 player, scrolling through the tracks. He then stopped on one in particular. "Huh, what's this one?"
"Crap! That statue was the only thing that coulda saved me." He heard Cassidy's voice playing, as he listened to more, he let out a gasp.
"No way..." Was all he could say.
MK and Julia proceeded towards the Mess Hall where they could hear laughing from inside.
"Is that hot sauce breath and soda junkie?" MK listened in before looking back at Julia who stared at her with her eyebrow raised. MK slapped her head again before specifying. "Chase and Zee?"
"Sounds like it. They sound just as clueless as ever." Julia observed.
Chase and Zee continued laughing when Chase was telling one of his prank stories. "And then Miles got covered head to toe in mousetraps. We almost got the under 18s mousetrap record but Miles didn't have enough space on his body."
"Man, falling for a mousetrap. And he's not even a mouse!" Zee chuckled before the two got interrupted by MK and Julia.
"So this is where you two have been." MK cleared her throat, gaining their attention.
"Wow, Chase. You've been holding out on us." Julia added, holding up her paintball gun.
"Oh hey! We've got a party! Awesome!" Zee cheered before getting shot by a paintball, knocking him off his chair.
"What's going on? Isn't Chef supposed to be hunting us all with paintball guns?" Chase tried arguing.
"I don't see him anywhere, do you?" Julia asked, readying her shot when they all heard someone approaching the Mess Hall.
"Fake right! Fake left! Man you really stink at this!" The voice grew closer until Raj eventually burst through the back door of the Mess Hall and saw everyone standing there. "Oh hey guys! What's up? Lunch break already?"
Raj let out a laugh. Chase's body then froze and pointed behind him. "Uh, dude? Behind you."
Raj turned around and saw Chef standing tall behind him. He let out a smile as Raj led him to half the campers.
"Nice going jockstrap! You lead him straight to us!" MK yelled at him as Chef noticed their paintball guns.
"Hey! You can't use paintball guns!" Chef tried objecting.
"As long as you don't get hit by a paintball, it's all fair game." MK explained. Her and Julia looked at each other with a grin and raised their guns at Chef who's eyes crossed as he raised his in response.
Raj and Zee looked back and forth at the upcoming war and looked at each other. "Oh boy..."
"You sure you didn't go too over the top with Harvey back there?" Bowie asked Emma who was still seething from the argument.
"If he was really my friend, he wouldn't have gone behind my back like that." Emma ranted back. "Guess he'll just have to get a taste of his own medicine."
"You sure about that? Shouldn't we be trying to get rid of someone with more issues like MK or Juliia? I don't trust those girls as far as I could throw them off that cliff." Bowie explained.
"We can get rid of them both later. You really think they're gonna win the next few challenges?" Emma denied.
"No, but Priya can. She's probably the reason both her and MK won the Cassowary challenge." Bowie brought up.
"How about this? If Harvey somehow wins the challenge, we vote for Priya." Emma tries reasoning with Bowie who let out a deep sigh.
"Priya should be target number 1 if we wanna finish off the Trout." Bowie argued back.
The two went back and forth on this before they both heard yelling and shooting sounds coming from the Mess Hall.
"What is that?" Emma questioned as she stared at the building from afar.
"We should hurry! This could be our only chance to get to that bell first!" Bowie saw from their open view that no one was at the dock yet as him and Emma started running off the hill towards it.
The sounds alerted Priya who remained in the nearby lake. Her head raised from the lake as she looked back and forth.
"Time to make a break for it!" She told herself as she felt her foot get pinched. "Ow! What the-" She reached down and saw a crab attached to the end of her foot. "Ugh, get out of here!" She tossed the crab further in to the lake where tons of other crab eyes emerged, glaring at her. "Uh... nice crabs..." She gulped, scrambling to get out of the water quickly.
CONFESSIONAL: PRIYA
"I don't feel good about my chances at elimination so I've got to win this immunity no matter what." Priya declared as she was shown bandaged up from all the crab bruises. "Ugh! I knew I should've put on crab repellent today!"
Chef, MK and Julia remained in the kitchen, blasting each other with paintballs whilst Raj and Zee held on to each other for dear life, covered head to toe in paint.
"Why do paintballs look like they hurt so much less in the movies!" Raj cried out.
"I don't know!" Zee yelled back, the two continuing to hug each other.
"Hold up, where's Chase?" Julia held her fire and looked around for the prankster, causing MK and Chef to stop in their tracks also.
"Later suckers!" Chase called out from outside the Mess Hall as he ran off, laughing.
"Grrr..." Chef growled.
Emma and Bowie continued running, eventually making it to the back of the Mess Hall where Chef kicked down the back door and spotted them in his target range.
"AHHH! Other way!" Bowie screamed as he and Emma scrambled to run away. Chef wasted no time and opened fire on them both, knocking them down in a daze.
"Ughhhh... what is in those paintballs?" Emma asked in a daze.
"Guys?" Priya ran up and looked at them both in shock, she then looked forward and saw Chef staring her down, loading up his gun again.
"Game over!" Chef declared as he shot at Priya with her jumping and ducking, rolling past Chef and getting back up.
"Not on my watch!" She taunted as she ran towards the dock.
The chase continued with Priya arriving at the dock, inching closer and closer to that bell while narrowly dodging Chef's attacks. Time slowed down as Chef started to close the gap with Priya now just a few steps away.
As a last resort, she leaped towards the bell. With Chef thinking fast, he shot the ground below her. Unfortunately for her, Priya overdid her jump, just missing the bell and sliding across the paint as she landed on the floor, eventually ending up in the lake.
"Nooo!" She yelled as she collided with the water.
"Well I guess that's game!" Chef laughed before getting shoved in to the water.
"Guess again!" Chase called from behind him as he ran towards that bell, giving it a couple rings, signaling the end of the challenge.
Chris then let out the airhorn. "Challenge is over! Chase has immunity!"
MK and Julia grumbled from inside the Mess Hall, annoyed they got beat by Chase of all people.
"You guys have the rest of the afternoon to wash off and decide which camper is getting robbed of a million dollars tonight!" Chris announced with all the vulnerable competitors shown feeling nervous, specifically Raj, Harvey and Priya.
CONFESSIONAL: JULIA
"As annoying as it is that I have to wash the paint out of my hair, that challenge was so much fun! MK makes a surprisingly good partner" Julia admitted. "Looks like operation split up Bowie's alliance worked out for me. That'll make this elimination as easy as a highlight reel."
MESS HALL: DAY #20.
Julia and MK were sitting with Chase and Zee as they were all looking at their 'dinner' for the night before heading to elimination.
"You know, with the four of us sitting here, we could easily decide who gets eliminated tonight." Julia not to subtly hinted at to the two former Trout.
"After that paintball war? Seriously?" Chase argued, surprised they were trying to forget what happened just a few moments ago.
"Hey, we cut down the competition for you to win immunity." MK brought up which Chase couldn't rebuttle.
"Fair point. I'm game." Chase agreed and Zee displayed a thumbs up while drinking out of his soda can. "Who do you have in mind?"
"I say we boot Raj." MK proposed. "He's the one who led Chef to us. And he's been getting real close to Bowie."
"Harvey was the one who tried going behind your back to vote you off and he'll do it again, 100%." Julia pointed at Chase.
"Why would he do that?" Chase asked, not seeming entirely convinced.
"Duh, he has the hots for Emma and you were in the way of that. He wanted to drive a wedge between you two by voting you off." Julia explained her point.
"A wedge of what? Cheese?" Zee asked with an eyebrow raised.
"He's jealous of you two! He's trying to steal your girlfriend." Julia continued which angered Chase.
"Oh that part I understand." Chase confirmed, fuming at the thought.
CONFESSIONAL: ZEE
"Emma was gonna be next for me in the alphabet but her and Chase seem so happy together. You never get between another guy and his girl." Zee said, ignoring any doubts he once had about their relationship. "Sorry Harvey."
Harvey took his tray of food and went towards Emma and Bowie's table. As soon as she saw him, Emma got up to leave.
"Wait! Can we talk first?" Harvey asked her.
"I need some space." Was all Emma said to him before leaving. Bowie didn't even bother speaking to him. Harvey sighed and sat by himself.
"Well, I'm stuffed. Might as well take a nap before the elimination." He heard MK speak from her table as he pushed her bowl aside for one of the guys to finish and left the Mess Hall.
"Hmm..." Harvey thought to himself as he continued to listen to more of Cassie's confessionals. Figuring this was a last ditch effort, he quickly downed his food before following MK out.
MK was almost back to her cabin but was surprised when Harvey was waiting for her outside on the porch. "What do you want?"
"You and I need to talk." Harvey stated.
"What is there to talk about? You're the one who blew your shot with your alliance." MK responded with a grin.
"I know you have Cassie's immunity statue." Harvey accused as he folded his arms.
MK's mouth hung open at those words, feeling caught off guard. "Uh... wow... whatever could you mean by that?"
"You're too smart to play dumb." Harvey told her.
"Well I guess you do have a point.." MK sighed, figuring Cassie put the pieces together and eventually told Harvey.
"You both had an alliance, didn't you?" Harvey continued his interrogation.
"So what if we did? She's not here anymore." MK defended herself.
"I've got everything I need to know right here." Harvey held up Cassie's MP3 player. "I can show this to everyone, you know. But if you give me the immunity statue, I'll stay quiet."
"Pfft, you think anyone's gonna buy anything that girl says? Especially if she's been recording it all?" MK brought up, which deflected Harvey's deal.
"Ugh! Fine! What do you want from me?" Harvey gave up, knowing his last resort was to let MK make the deal. "I can't go out like this."
"Hmm..." MK thought to herself, seeing this as a possible opportunity for her.
CONFESSIONAL: MK
"Cassie couldn't have gotten that statue without me so it belongs to me anyway, and I could really use it down the road. But having another secret alliance wouldn't be such a bad idea." MK weighed up her options. "Man it feels good to have this much power."
CAMPFIRE CEREMONY 10: NIGHT #20.
After a long day of hide and go hunt, the remaining group of players all headed towards the campfire area where for one of them, it would be their last trip. They all sat down one by one with Chris twirling the plate of 8 marshmallows. "Smell that campers? That's the smell of tension."
"Tension smells like fire?" Raj turned to Bowie who raised an eyebrow at his statement.
Chris just stared ahead with his typical deadpan look before turning over to Chef. "Chef, have at it."
"Raj, you ended up getting a whole group of people found and cost them their shot at immunity." Chef stared at the hockey player who just scratched his back laughing.
"Lucky find?" Was all he could say to the group.
"Priya. You went behind Chase's back and tried to get him voted out, now he has immunity. Safe to say, your allies are running out fast." He pointed an accusing finger at her to which she gulped.
CONFESSIONAL: PRIYA
"6 months of hide and seek camp and I lose to Chase? I have no words." She stated with her eyes closed and arms crossed.
"And Harvey. You also tried to get your best friend's boyfriend voted off the island. That's the biggest backstabber that ever stabbed a back." Chef shamed Harvey who was met with dagger glares from Emma and Chase.
"Time to cast your ballots and see who tonight's biggest loser is." Chris began to walk off before Harvey got his attention.
"Hold it!" He called out before reaching in to his bag. "I'm not going anywhere tonight..."
He then pulled out the immunity statue which earned the gasps and attention of many people. He walked over and handed the Red Trout statue to Chris.
"Wow, so you stole the statue from Cassie? Well played." Julia crossed her arms and smirked.
"What? That's not... whatever." Harvey threw his arms up in defeat, giving up on trying to reason with these people.
"Alright, the immunity statue! Nice! About time too!" Chris held up the statue. "This means Harvey is safe and can't be voted off tonight."
Harvey let out a sigh of relief as Emma and Bowie glared at him, annoyed they couldn't get rid of him.
CONFESSIONAL: MK
"A lotta people might think this is a bonehead decision but check this out." MK started before taking out her stolen phone and playing a video of Harvey.
"D-do I really have to do this?" He asks the camera.
"Do you want the statue?" MK is heard asking behind it.
"Fine. In exchange for the immunity statue, I Harvey agree to vote however MK wants for the rest of the season." He's heard saying before the video ends there.
"Figured with video evidence, there's no way he'd go back on his word." MK explains. "And with Emma and Chase still mad at him, I've either got myself an extra vote or someone I can vote out whenever to get myself one step further. And what's one immunity statue when I can easily steal the other one?"
"All your votes have been counted. A marshmallow keeps you in the game. No marshmallow means game over. Chase and Harvey both have immunity. So let's begin..."
Everyone stared at the plate nervously before Chris starts calling out names.
"Emma."
"Bowie."
"Zee."
"MK."
"Julia."
The five named all caught their marshmallows and let out a sigh of relief. Meanwhile Priya and Raj looked at each other before staring at the last marshmallow. "One marshmallow, two campers. The last one safe tonight is..."

"Priya! Again!"
"Yes!" Priya cheered as she ate the marshmallow, unsure of her odds but relieved she dodged another bullet.
"Sorry Raj, you've been benched. Time to catch a ride on the drone." Chris pointed back to the dock as Bowie and Raj stood up.
"I'm really sorry..." Bowie sighed, sad his boyfriend was leaving.
"It's cool. It's as you said before. You play to win, right?" Raj playfully punched him in the shoulder as Bowie laughed.
"I'll make sure you get to tell your friends your boyfriend's a millionaire." Bowie and him hugged it out one last time. "But after this? Get your dancing shoes on cause we're hitting the streets."
"I want you to have this." Raj reached in to his pocket and pulled out his lucky mouth guard and handed it to Bowie who was visibly grossed out but appreciated the gesture.
CONFESSIONAL: RAJ
"I'm super pumped to head back to Alberta so I can tell Wayne and my buds about my awesome experiences here. As for Bowie? No doubt he's got this in the bag. He's way better at these sorts of games than I am. But just you wait, I'll have him on the ice rink as soon as the season wraps up." Raj pounds his fist, seeming generally unaffected by his elimination.
"Hoot Hoot!" Raj calls out as he is whisked away by the drone with Chris waving at him.
"What a day. If this drama was as hilarious as Chef's aim then these next few days are gonna have me with fistfuls of popcorn. "Who'll get shot down next? Will Zee manage to get a stuffed toy for his sister? Will Harvey be able to make things right with Emma? And will MK and Julia keep trying to one up each other?" Chris chucked. "Find out next time on Total Drama Island!"

I was toying with the idea of Raj being a finalist but it just didn't pan out. My main goal was giving him and Bowie more together without Wayne. Some may call this plot armor for Harvey or MK but it's gonna be like that for anyone with a statue. With MK's bold move, it leaves one statue out of play and the other somewhere else from its hiding spot. As for the challenge, this was another fun one to write. A bit on the basic side sure but this show has proven that even the simple challenges have their charm. This is another one of those episodes where Zee could have left but I think a few people, myself included would be annoyed at getting rid of so many Trout members and the ratio being 6-2.
So that's pretty much it as far as the original challenges go. Not gonna lie, I really enjoyed them. Favorite was definitely the Truth or Scare one but this and Boney Island were pretty solid too. One thing's for sure though, it's definitely looking to be a rough merge for these players.
Until next time, see you whenever!
