XR felt what was once his enjoyment, was becoming a burden, staying at work. His home was no longer becoming his safe place.
"XR! Please wait up!"
He treads faster and away from 42 as he heads out to his one place of sanctuary and he was more than happy to go. As soon as he made his way to the docking bay, he was stopped by Buzz.
"XR we need to talk." Buzz frowns when XR speeds around him and flies off just as a ship is departing, not even a sparky comment. He follows behind but can see his friend was ignoring him. Ever since the break up, it's been uncomfortable around their base! XR would ignore 42 and 42 would be complaining not long after to him. She pleaded to him to talk to XR in mending a year worth of relationship. He knows how women would give up after a break up but 42 was trying to be better!
"XR you can't be ignoring 42 like this! It's been a week since you guys separated-" He tenses up to see XR jet boosts far away from him! His friend! He couldn't believe XR was ignoring him! He felt the crook of this was that agent! Another problem in his life and someone who's been a thorn to him! Ever since that agent came into light, he has been not only making star commands in the dark. He floats back to star command, 'I feel like I'm losing.' He shook it off, he knows that the agent isn't doing this for the galaxy.
'Just for fame but I want to protect the galaxy from all evil.' He turns on his jetwings and flies back, he'll make sure that agent won't destroy the only protection of the galaxy.

Nos was working on his latest commission that was due friday. He was almost done but this latest work was giving him an ominous feeling he cannot point out. He stopped for the day since it was only Sunday And it was his day off. He stretches his back and steps out of his workshop and sees XR was waving through the window. He smiles as he walks over to unlock the door to see XR giving him space to let Nos step out of his shop. "You are out early."
"Is it that much of a surprise? It was a small report duty." XR grins and they froze to see some well known reporters were walking around and crazy Buzz fans. Nos lets XR in as he follows behind and locks it before Blackout the windows. "Ok this is getting way too much for a week and I may not be the most liked in the team, but why does my private life gotta be exposed. And just why is Buzz being a bother about this?!" He steamed up at the thought and looked to see Nos crossed his arms annoyed. "I'm sorry you're caught up in this."
Nos perked and shook his head. "This is not entirely your fault. This is mostly Buzz for his rivalry that I have no idea about and 42 for her pushing Buzz to make you forgive her."
"Ok I see their faults but this only happens because Buzz and the team found me with you and Ryder after running away. I Just want to go back to our time without the whole drama and people wanting to invade my privacy." XR frowns, he really missed not being in the spotlight. He looks up to Nos to find him thinking and looking like he has an idea. "I know that look and as much as I like it, how do we get out without being tailed or exposed?"
"We could just sneak away in my escape tunnel." Nos leads him to his workshop.
XR was quiet before he had to ask. "Why do you have a secret tunnel?"
"In case something like this happens." Nos opens the door to his workshop. "That or Buzz tries to arrest me. I also made it so that if something bad happens, Vanet can escape. There are 24 different tunnels that can turn and change every 5 Minutes. All but one." Nos simply answers. "Do you have a special lens that can detect substances?" He asked, picking up XR who was pretty calm about it.
"Depends on the said substance."
"Borax." Nos answers and XR raises a brow and switches to find small but barely there glue remnants. "Ok so using clear glue was pretty basic but easy for Vanet. Nice."
"Indeed. I realized if my enemies came to me here, and Vanet could be here when it happens, I want to keep her safe. It will take a while for them to find the tunnel. But if it was possible a certain antimatter vampire came-"
"He would find the tunnel but not expect the traces of borax. You really are good at escaping." He felt Nos place him down but noticed the tunnel was 10 feet wide and the height was around 7 ft. He guessed it was for his wings but detected air and realized he made it breathable for Vanet. He couldn't help but really have so much admiration and respect for him."You really are an incredible dad." XR grins and sees Nos lead but just as he is walking, XR picks him up and carries him off to the path that had the faint traces of Borax. "It's only fair you carry me in the air, I get to carry you in the tunnels!"
Nos could not help but wrap his arms around XR and let him take the lead to their destination.
It took only fifteen minutes to get to the end but as soon as they got out, XR was surprised to find they were just out in the forest. "I get the whole keep the distance security thing, but wouldn't Vanet get lost?"
"Actually Vanet knows where to go thanks to tata teaching her how to find directions. That and it is best we took the not so close exit." Nos picks XR up and into the thick forest. XR was glad Nos was nice to carry him but he felt it wasn't necessary. Then again, he liked it better. Booster and sometimes Buzz carries him when needed and it was more like side carrying. But Nos was different, he was being careful and it felt nice. He perks up to the first tree and notices the branches were twisted and Nos looks at it before taking a left and shows XR the small but careful marked symbols that he didn't recognise.
"This says 'home' whereas the right leads to the lake." Nos showed him the other part and saw another symbol but on the right end of the branch, had a different but small mark. Nos had kept XR in his arms, feeling the same but different sensation. He felt the familiar energy within XR but he could not help but enjoy holding him. It reassures him XR was still here and alive. He felt the more XR was in his life, the more fear he gained of losing him. He internally hopes that he and XR can still be in each other's life for a long time. 'And this selfish part of me enjoys holding him like this.' He walks up until they get there and enters through a camouflage barrier revealing his home.
Feeling Nos place him down, XR was still surprised to find Nos in a nice two story victorian style home that reminded him from stories he hears Nos read to Vanet. "You know I always thought, when you said you lived in the forest, woods near the mountains, I kept having this imagination of a castle that was old and scary. Or a cabin cuz where we're at."
"Well originally Tata lived in a castle but that was back on a planet in some X galaxy. Of course after Vanet came into our life, he wanted to make a castle for her to live in. I told him instead of that, we can make her own small but quaint castle here but it will have to be in summer." Nos reminded XR but smiles as he floats over to unlock the door. "Besides, I like living in the forest. No one will be able to hear your screams." He teases, lifting his cloak like the infamous vampire from the old movies.
"I'd be scared by now if I didn't know you were messing with me." XR glares but couldn't help but smile. "I doubt I'll be screaming, there is nothing now you can't scare me."
Nos opened the door and let XR enter first. "I beg to differ." Nos smirks mischievously as he takes off his cloak cape. "But that's for another time since we are here. Come along." He heads down the hall leading to his lab that was in the basement.
XR follows, feeling Nos brought him to his home and trusts him to show him his lab. Not even Ryder and Gravitina were allowed in his lab so that's something. "So aside from assassinating the tyrant plan, what's been keeping you in your lab?" He recalled Nos having to cancel out their hangouts or his unexpected off days due to the lab.
"I have been modifying my programs to be a bit more natural to an organic. Mostly to find more resources to absorb other than energy. The problem I have is that the nature of the Anti-matter in me needs pure energy as a source to feed on. So it has been stressful." Nos let's XR in his lab.
"This is a pretty good size for a lab. Really roomy and neat." He looked around but realized it was like that one crazy machinery back in Cosmo's. "You've been using that machine! Didn't it make you go gaga?" XR did remember a lot of that time but did remember Nos didn't bite into his body.
"Yes but luckily I have been taking lessons in control." Nos grins. "I figured since you're helping me, I thought I could help you in hiding yourself better than that ridiculous disguise you told me about."
"It was just one time using a Booster disguise." XR crosses his arms. "But wouldn't I get caught if I went through something like a metal detector?"
"I have a way to mess with that and this is a newer version so it will not be as painful as my first change." Nos stated as he turned on his computer and his machines were rumbling on.
XR looked around and saw he had numerous parts and chips that were either on the latest systems or information on planets. He had to hand it to Nos, he's more prepared than he was on a simple beuy mission. He paused to see a lot of pictures taken of Vanet over the whole year and saw her happy. He smiles to see there was one taken of him and Nos at the Cove but this was probably taken without them acknowledging it. He then sees several of Nos and Ryder in a few pictures and one of them is written "First day on the job as partners". He couldn't help but feel a bit different until he was looking at different photos on the wall. He couldn't help but feel jealous that Nos has these special pictures but did get confused seeing Nos holding a fish with no one else.
"I learned the hard way that my tata could not have his picture taken, but I still cherish the photo."
"Gah!" XR scooted away from being surprised. "Note to self, gotta get a bell on you." He scowls. "You think I'd be able to detect you by now!"
"I kept calling you but you seemed to be in deep thought. I was asking if you wish to try the new program." Nos was still in his organic form and walked over to the special metal cabinet to get the new chip.
"I was just amazed how you managed to make a life for yourself. You really meant it when you really said you're happy here." XR was a bit flustered but calmed himself.
"I am, it is the reason I need to get rid of that tyrant. I want to enjoy this chance of happiness." Nos spoke and showed him the program he made. "As I said earlier, remember that machine cosmo's diner had?"
"I remember that, you almost took over that place; amongst other things…" XR mumbles that last part. "But that was so long ago."
"XR, I was a villain and a horrible monster." Nos spoke but saw XR frowns.
XR looks to Nos, "Is it really ok to say that Nos? You're not that guy anymore." XR didn't like to remind his friend of the past, and it wasn't even intentional.
"It was my past wrongdoings but that does not mean I am still that person." Nos replied. "I just want to make right from my wrongdoings."
XR can say his friend changed for the better. "Nos, I don't hate you."
"I know that well," Nos added, "and I know I still got alot to work on redeeming myself-"
"You're already doing a lot! You help Savy- she told me you change!" XR was practically in front of him
"That is because before she blackmailed me." Nos answers. "Yet I do teach her some things when she is here."
"See!? A-and we're friends now!" XR stated but for some reason, he didn't like saying it. He felt it wasn't what he wanted. It was still new to them so probably that's the reason. "Nos you are a good guy! More than any decent person!"
Nos smiles a bit. "Thank you XR, you are a great friend."
XR smiled but he couldn't help but feel weird. Either way, he was happy to just put their past behind. "So about that program?"
Nos grins and shows him the "shape-shifter" and pulls out a document his friend made for him for things like this. "But before I give it to you, I need you to sign an insurance contract that I did not force you or did this with ill intention-"
XR took it and signed it without a second thought. "I know you won't hurt me on purpose." He gives the contract back and goes to sit. "So what should I expect from this that made you need me to sign?"
"It will be extremely painful. When I underwent the process, it was feeling like everything broke down and reattached again in ways that cannot be explained. It will be painful and I hope it will not be that painful this time."
"Aside pain, anything else?" XR was not a fan of pain but he understood that it's not something to evade from.
"As soon as your lungs are made, just breathe. Do not fight it." Nos inserted the chip to program in his computer manually. When it was done, Nos took it out and came over to XR. "I had set it to appeal to your personality. May I insert it?"
XR felt his core vibrate unexpectedly and tried to ignore it. "I trust you." He was feeling embarrassed but when he felt Nos insert the chip into his core, it was surprising. "Not to sound narcissistic but I just hope I don't get too short." He really hopes not. He watches Nos go over to another part of the lab where it was from his sensors really cold. He watches Nos wear some gloves and grabs something. It was a cube that wasn't silver but looked between gold and yellow topaz.
"This is more different than the one I have. I made it to be more sturdier and flexible though I think it works with you better." Nos came over and placed it over on the table. "Do you want me to-" Nos felt XR hold his glove hand.
"I know it sounds like I'm a coward and I am one in the situations I get in, but please stay with me." XR let's go but Nos held his hand back.
"I will not leave you alone." Nos reassures him. "Ready?"
XR nodded but he was nervous and hopeful. He reached over and touched the block and he felt a spark but instead of pain, he blacked out.

XR woke up to soreness in his body but he needed to wake up hearing Nos calling for him and he felt like his chest was expanding and compressing. He sees his sight open up but instead of his usual sight, he covers them up. "Think the room is too bright..." He frowns and hears Nos shuffling his stuff.
"Keep your eyes closed."
XR does as instructed and he feels Nos moves his hands away but he couldn't help but like the gentle care Nos gave him. He feels something over his face and Nos adjusts the item and he hears the small beeps.
"This should help."
XR opens them and sees his sight adjust to the light and the first thing he sees is Nos looking so worried.
"Are you alright? Do you feel pain or anything?" Nos cups his face and XR felt his cheek flushed, his core skipped a beat(?) and he couldn't help but like the touch. But then he felt a draft and realized the program didn't materialize clothes. He now knows Nos wears legit clothes.
"So…. I feel a draft in places I shouldn't feel but I'm ok." XR blurted out. He watches Nos backs away in speed he didn't know he has and covers his sight from him. He felt hurt until he noticed Nos ears were dark and although covering his view of him, he could see a blush? 'Did I make Nos flustered?!' He couldn't help but find it funny and a bit cute- 'Wait, cute?' He was now feeling heat on his face.
"I-I need to make a few calls! Be right ba-!"
SMACK!
XR winced when Nos smacked his face but hurried out. "... Ok."
XR despite his curiosity of what Ozma saw from Nos, he has not only found out but he gets to experience it himself!
'And it's humiliating.'
Luckily Nos brought him a pair of boxers but he couldn't wear clothes. Apparently Ozma had to do a thorough check up and analyze his body. XR thought that was probably not it but he did it for Nos. That and he couldn't fit in Nos's clothes but that felt a bit too much for him.
"Well from what I see, your anatomy is quite different from Nos's anatomy. You have a more Natural male physique and one genitalia than Nos. My theory is it could be the unimind had processed your form based on exposure around Buzz but luckily you look nothing like him or your commander. Though I gotta say you are above average-"
"No need to hear that from you." XR was still embarrassed and annoyed. He personally rather have Nos do the check up but Nos explains he couldn't for the reason he won't say. 'At least he stayed with me but I still feel weird.' "So aside that, is there anything weird?"
"Well, it seems like you have all the organs though it is odd that you didn't go through the same experience as Nos. Could be that your core is more advanced than Nos's core." She wrote in her notes. "Nos has to override his own program and core. And he ideally made his form based on strigoli so incorporating anatomy was a challenge for the core." She added.
"So I'm like a mammal while Nos is a… Reptile or amphibian?" XR asked.
"Not exactly but yes." Ozma hums. "Try taking a step."
XR steps down and Nos stands by. He takes a step and slowly walks until he does it normally.
"Seems like your core is taking this pretty quick." Ozma continues writing.
XR grins and moves a bit fast but slips. He would have fallen but Nos catches him in time but takes the impact of the fall. He fell on top of Nos and was worried. "I'm so sorry!" He looked to see Nos was blushing and couldn't look at him again! Now he knows Nos was more embarrassed than him! He pulled back as Nos got up.
"I will be back, I think Ryder is just here!" Nos quickly hurries up the stairs.
Ozma watches and chuckles to see something so clear now. "You know I must admit, I had a thing for Nos."
XR perked as he stood and was shocked! 'I knew it!"
"Of course I think it was best not to continue the attraction since he has a daughter-"
"You are a fool to give up on Nos just because he has a daughter." XR blurted out and he couldn't understand why this infuriated him.
"I like Nos, but he told me how happy he is having that family life. I love my job and I don't want to give up my life's work." Ozma stated.
"But you're missing out on a chance! Vanet is an amazing kid! She loves animals too!" XR smiles at the memory of giving her those figurines he tried to make. "And Nos is literally the best! You are a fool for not seeing that- I mean he chooses Vanet no matter what but even I would-"
"That's the reason XR; even though I adore Vanet, I cannot simply make Nos choose but I cannot be a second choice. However, I can see why he left me to get to you."
XR faltered after hearing her. He remembered that day she was talking about: the day of the breakup. 'Nos left her for me…?'
Ozma smiles. "Though I am a bit jealous, how lucky you are, XR." She puts her tools away. "You know, sometimes the oddest pair makes the best Symbiotic relationship. Even though all creatures have instincts, there are those occasions where the heart makes more choices than the natural instincts. In fact a male bat that's raising his own, gets protected by a hawk. You think the Hawk would attack them, but the bat shows trust and a special affection to the said hawk. An odd but quite a pair."
"Well we're friends. I do the same for him. And plus we do make a great team. I think what you also mean is that Nos trusts me more than he shows it. I trust him too." He smiles but it fell when Ozma gave him a dissatisfied and disappointed look.
"Males are truly slow when it comes to the truth. I just hope Nos can think for both of you. Call me if you need another check up, or advice."
"Hey I know when I'm insulted! I am not slow!" XR glares and thinks how could he fall for her?! He glares in thought but then thinks about Nos and Vanet. Despite the unrealistic and odd pair, he likes that he can keep them both safe. He couldn't help but imagine a possible future, seeing Vanet growing up and Nos there- he stops and massages his head. "Must be overthinking it." He thought out loud and saw Nos coming downstairs, bringing him clothes that looked new.
"Ryder was kind enough to bring clothes for you though it might not suit your taste." Nos hands him the clothes, but XR keeps noticing how dark his ears are now. He even noticed the faint pastel blue blush he had across his face.
XR couldn't help but like learning something new about Nos. "Thanks…. I gotta ask, how do I look? Scale of 1 to 10." He figures he can ask the artist who literally makes beautiful work, to be honest. XR waits and sees Nos was bashful and a dark shade and he feels bad putting him on the spot. He almost when Nos mumbles his answer and leaves in a haste. He didn't know Nos was leaving in a haste before answering or that he heard his answer and still can't believe it.
"You are a 10."
He shook the feeling he had and hurried to put on his clothes feeling the draft of air.
Nos stood against the wall, he couldn't help but feel his heart beating hard and his body was having reactions from XR. He knew he had feelings for the little bot but he felt that hunger hit in him and he was afraid of it. He calmed his senses and took a deep breath. 'I am not going to woo him! He just broke up with his ex!' He massaged his head and pushed his hair back and thought about what to do. He shook whatever feelings he had and buried them in the back of his mind. He was a friend, not some deviant! He waits and figures he and XR will take a walk.
Nos steps out of the forest as his humanoid form but was trying to keep a rational mind. But how can he when he can only think about what happened earlier. He walks out of the forest but stops to see his friend hiding. "Come out XR, you look good."
"Easy for you to say! You're not short! And I don't like the color schemes of these clothes!"
Nos raises a brow. "5 '6.9 is not that short."
XR steps out, his skin tone was a pale yellow but XR wore goggles with some details that were a bit different from his Cp-22 series but he was a few inches shorter than Nos (5 '7.9). He was dressed to the modern trend, wearing a silver shirt with grey jeans and a jacket that was star command. But he was annoyed at how short he is. "I look dorky."
"If you want, we can get you more clothes to your liking. Ryder picked clothes according to your original color schemes." Nos added but did see how XR was not so thrilled
XR felt bothered to hear Ryder was with him. The thoughts changed and he was surprised by the unexpected upgrades like having smell and other kinds of sensors. "I'll go only if you take me."
Nos blushes but only smiles. "Sure, little one." He froze at his words and turns to apologize but sees a chuckling XR. He knew that was originally his name for him before but to use it now, it felt different.
"I'm fine with that, just don't say it out in public. I like that it's from you." XR felt that tension was completely gone. He hated to admit it, he did miss that nickname. He can't explain why, but he likes to hear it from Nos. "You know I just realized something." He hears Nos hums as they begin their walk. "I never gave you a nickname. And master isn't a nickname." XR was grateful for the built in walking lessons. He caught up to Nos but saw he was blushing again! He felt weird how he likes this thing he has and sees Nos so different.
"You have called me Nos." Nos reminded him.
"But that's a given name!I want to have the honor of granting you a nickname."
Nos looks at him and seeing he is relentless, he smiles. "Alright, but it is fair you do not speak it out in public."
"Fair enough," XR grins, feeling more giddy about it than Nos. They took the walk down to the town that was not too far. He looks at Nos and feels a weird feeling when he's jumping on the headrest of a park bench and walking as if it's a normal thing to do. He felt a smile come across before trying to follow but slips and falls. Nos turns to him and looks over before stepping down. "I just embarrassed myself."
"This is something you have to practice. It is not like our normal programming." Nos held his hand out and XR took it.
"Easy for you, you're more used to this than I am." XR stands up and looks annoyed. "I'm practically a new car getting dents." He grumbles, until he realizes he's still holding onto Nos hand and lets go of his hand.
Nos hums before thinking of an idea. "I can teach you as we walk." Nos held his hand.
XR felt pretty embarrassed but seeing Nos smile at him like that made his shame melt away and nodded. "Alright spider monkey, teach me."
Nos helps him up and keeps his hand in his as he helps him keep balance on the top of the bench. "Not accepting that ridiculous nickname. First, you need to find your balance. Try sideways first." Nos showed him and XR struggles but does it. There was a few slips but Nos caught him. When he got his balance, Nos showed him how to take the steps and soon XR was an amateur at best. They were both now walking down the road after XR wanted to stop for the day.
"I know anatomy plays a role here, but I think you're way more flexible than I can ever be, and I stretch my limbs." The space ranger was amazed how his friend was more acrobatic but so stiff about other things. "So Nos, did this come naturally to you?" XR knew Nos liked to experience things, it was likely he wanted to learn to do this acrobatic stuff.
"It did not actually. I had to do this as my robotic self with legs. That was quite a challenge. But in this form," Nos climbs up a brick pillar and jumps and in one hand stands upside down. "I can be significantly flexible." He grins before flipping over but XR instinctively catches him. Nos blushes and XR lets him go, but his very core/heart was beating hard. "I cannot help but like this form." He clears his throat. "And it is nice to not be a terror."
"Must've been a rollercoaster but a fun one." XR grins, feeling relaxed until they sit on an upcoming bench. XR wasn't used to it but when he sat, it felt pretty good to feel his feet finally touch the ground and not have to extend them out. "You know it's good to finally touch the ground." He grins and watches as Nos leans back.
"It is." Nos grins enjoying how good it feels to be grounded, he crosses his leg over and leans back.
XR was feeling that nudge from somewhere in his system just from looking at Nos. He looks out, ignoring the energy vampire sitting. "So what have you done while being in the humanoid get up? You must have done some fun activities." He chuckled but felt that awful pang.
"Not really. I have never left this planet since I came here." Nos looks up to the sky. "And I never thought of doing anything else even as a villain XR." He sat forward and thought back. "I just tried to survive on my own after Zurg kicked me out after I had failed the 3rd time. I was lucky Gravitina was kind to me," Nos smiles a bit. "I owe it to her a lot. However I did not stay around long, I hate to be a burden to her."
XR was quiet, he always thought Nos had an easy life as a villain like Warp did. He didn't know how hard it was until now. "You know if you want, we can do some activities together." 'What did I just say?' "You said you never got to do anything else right? Let's list some things and then go from there." 'Why did it come off like that?'
Nos was quiet but looked at his friend, he felt hopeful but nervous. He could not step over that line he drew for himself. And the fact he is trying to control his urges around XR who is not interested in him in such a way. "I cannot do that XR." He tried to calm his core but the idea of being close now was already overwhelming.
XR looked shocked before glaring. "You can't or you won't with me? I thought we were past that?!" XR got closer.
Nos can detect his urge and pulls back. "It is not because of you. This week I am going to be busy-!" Nos stops and hears a beep from his phone. He gets up and sees it was his job. 'Oh thank goodness.' "Thank you for walking with me to town, but I have to go. We can talk about this later!" Nos saw his comm was beeping and said it was from the job again. "I'll see you later XR." He spread his wings and flew off.
XR watches him off. When he was far off, XR rubs his head confused. How come this meant a lot to him?! They were bonding and he was getting over 42 but when it came to planning stuff, it bothered him so bad he couldn't hangout! "It wasn't like I was asking him out!" He got up and hands in his pockets. He was walking, feeling like he got rejected-
'Hold it!'
XR had to blink a bit, hearing himself. "Ok…. This was new…" He thinks it over and he brushes it off. "We're just friends!" He shouted to the empty path. He's just lonely now and Nos is different! He wasn't like his team! Maybe it's because Nos is different! He took a deep breath and changed back to his robotic self and took off.
Upon arriving at star command, XR was thinking about how to get closer to Nos. It wasn't a simple thing. Nos was really different from everyone. He smiles a bit, thinking about earlier and how it was fun. 'If Nos didn't start as a villain, we could have been great friends.' He paused in his path, thinking back on the wirewolf incident. 'Nos, he didn't have control then. Was it that bad?' Being a creation from Zurg meant it was given he was arrogant and prideful. 'But this new Nos, he was different. Still some traces of the old Nos, the-'
"Hey have you heard? Gravitina was brought in!"
XR pauses and listens in.
"Heard Rocket found her in some store and arrested her…."
XR goes in top speed to find her before Buzz or Nos comes to get her. It didn't take long but he could hear her loud and clear.
"How dare you arrest me! I just went to a store!" Gravitina shouts and XR frowns. He shouldn't get involved but he couldn't let her be falsely arrested for nothing! He then hurried to the lockers.
"How many times must I say it!? I was not doing evil! I was there to simply Buy a special material for a friend." Gravitina crosses her arms, she glares at the space ranger.
"Well you are the top tyrants in the galaxy. I, as a space ranger, must do my job to stop any possible crime." Rocket Crockett smirks, he had gotten a tip about her and he had to get to her before Buzz. "So mind telling me why you're in tradeworld?"
Gravitina glares. "Why should I do that? As far as I am concerned, it is not your right."
Rocket grins and closes the "Well I see you are not working with me-"
"Tina!"
Both heads look to see a man with blonde hair and goggles over his eyes come and walk over. "I came as soon as I could, this is outrageously wrong to arrest someone!" the said man points to Rocket.
"Who let you in?" Rocket glares at the blonde man. He couldn't let this man ruin his chance to beat Buzz!
"I am Xavier R. Ne-Newman!" XR couldn't let Rocket find out the truth. "This nice lady here was purchasing needed metal that my friend requested from her. You see my friend Nosferatu is a great craftsman and she insisted she would buy the materials for him but my buddy was trying to reach out to her. He needed her to not buy the material but her comm was broken. He reached out to me and asked me if I could find her since he was busy at work. So, I got the news that some ranger arrested her for no reason!"
Gravitina was quiet, she recognized those goggles and voice even without that robotic sound effect! "I did and I was not doing any harm!"
Rocket glares but sees XR holds a receipt to prove it (the old receipt Nos gave him). The said space ranger was annoyed but seeing the proof, he had no choice but to release Gravitina.
XR helps Gravitina out but turns to Rocket. "One more thing, you should keep this to yourself." He stares down at the man "wouldn't want to be that guy who damages the star command's reputation."
Rocket tenses up as they leave.
Just a good distance and to the drop off, Gravitina stops. "Thank you for what you did back there. You did not have to help me."
XR scratch behind his head. "I know that being a villain is a choice, but it's not your whole identity. Besides, I didn't want Nos having to come up here to help."
Gravitina only smirks. "So you were trying to protect Nos?" She places her hands over her hips. "Why XR how kind of you. So, do you like him now?"
XR raises a brow. "Of course I do, he's my friend-"
"You don't understand darling," she stops him and places a hand on his shoulder. "Do you like him the way I like Buzz Lightyear?" Gravitina crosses her arms and sees XR stops and blinks before seeing his whole face turn orange. "N-no!? I mean- WE'RE FRIENDS! HE'S HE'S…!" He stops thinking and trying to process this but he nearly crashes.
"Well you better think. About. It~ BYEEEEEEEE!" She hurries to the last departure ship.
XR however could pass out after the mental drain in all this.
Later-
XR lies in his charger, in his robotic self, thinking about what two evil witches told him the same thing in two different ways. He never thought about falling for Nos, much less a guy before!… Then there were those moments today and how mad he was about Nos not being able to agree. He can't tell what this is he has for Nos, but he needs to find out somehow.

XR treads through the hall of star command as he was feeling drained from work. "I hate when it's Beuy duty…" he mumbles but smiles to see coming up to him was Nos adorning the Star Command's symbol. He felt relief to see a familiar face who was floating towards him. "Nos! Just the bot I was hoping to see!" He moves faster and hurries to his side. "Where are you heading off to?"
"Just a bit of flying XR." Nos answers and XR grins.
The space ranger bot takes his hand and has this sudden energy to go for a fly. "Mind if I join you?" He grins when Nos does and they head off.
XR watches from his spot on a small asteroid as Nos glides and dodges between the smaller asteroids. He smiles in awe and sees Nos flying back to him and they sit on the rock. "That was pretty cool."
"Thank you, but I must say, I feel drained after today." Nos sat back. "The commander wants me to work with 42, rather, to interface with her."
XR was shocked and looked at Nos who was annoyed. "D-do you want to?"
"No, you already know I do not fancy women." Nos stated. "But the commander believes me working with her can benefit Star command-"
XR was quiet and listens away but his mind was about Nos being with someone and it bothers him. More importantly, the fact 42 was taking Nos from him!
Wait what?
XR reaches to cup Nos's face. "Then why not with me?"
Wait why am I-?!
XR pulls Nos down and kisses-
"Whoooa!"
XR sat up and fell out of his charger.
Bamm!
XR groaned in pain and stood up, his dome wasn't cracked but he felt his mind was. He could believe Nos being the one wooing and kissing him but to be the one being forward in his dream, it made his system buffer. It didn't help his core was vibrating at the thought of Nos being the one wooing him- "Wait!" XR was dumbfounded and he felt flustered. "Do I like Nos like I like booster as a bud…. Or like Gravitina likes Buzz…?" But his core wasn't liking Nos.
"Do I…. Love Nos….?" He felt his core answer for him. "Oh fuck…."
