Nos knew he was considered, in terms of nature, a hunter and he was only a prey when he was being hunted down by the law. He was used to being chased as a villain. He knew it was natural and he found a way out of the hunt…. But these past days he was being chased physically and emotionally in a way that was new to him and not easy to escape.

No it was not DRAC, he was still under wraps.

It wasn't Gravitina, she has yet to know he burnt her expensive curtains. he pinned it on XL.

It was not Bounty hunters, he has not been exposed.

Yet.

Not Hornets, Zurg has no idea he's alive.

Not a 100 Space Rangers,

It was one Space Ranger he was now concerned with and hoping he did not ruin their relationship in general.

XR

That same XR that he chased in the past who has now been chasing after him. He will admit he enjoyed chasing XR but he never tried to kiss him or showed desire for him like he is. But this past year he has been trying to resist him only to have XR made his stand to woo him. As much as he was hopeful, and wishful, he does not wish to ruin XR's reputation. But these past days XR was very romantic.

And unyielding.

Nos almost forgot where he was and why he was hiding in a 15 foot tall tree. It has been only a week since that confession, and a week full of XR was hitting on him every chance. In the shop, at his job, and now in his home! And that was not all; he has sent Nos handmade gifts that were cute and sweet.

Day 1 XR charmingNos

Nos and Ryder were on a mission in keeping the peace and setting a political peace treaty between two clans.

"So after this, wanna go to the diner? They made a new menu with your name." Ryder asked.

"No thank you, I need to head out soon-"

"Cuz your date confessed to you and he's coming here." Ryder finished for him and Nos can feel his core vibrating. "And you haven't told him your feelings yet cuz your trying to hide."

Nos felt it was a punch in the gut. "... Yes."

"You like him- no you looo~ooove him." Ryder teases and Nos glares at him. "XR and Nos hiding in his coffin. F-U-C-K!"

BAM!

Nos punches Ryder in the face and sees the giant fall back.

"You know I always knew you were pretty strong."

Nos tenses up and couldn't turn around. He would have requested to step out of the mission had he known team Lightyear was joining them. But Ryder told him after they got here. He calms himself and turns to XR. "Afternoon space ranger XR." He gives a small bow.

"And to you too, agent Nosferatu." XR smiles. "I was told I am going to work with you on perimeter checks so maybe we can talk about strategy as we search."

"Did say love is a battlefield." Ryder spoke and Nos glares at him but clears his throat as he walks over to XR. "If you do not mind doing a check around the area first. It is imperative we do a scan first."

"Beauty first~" XR held out his hand for him and Nos just walks past him.

They make their way and go to check on the perimeter. Seeing no one, Nos shifted his form and began to scan the area around much better. He does not look at XR and keeps scanning until he sees it is clear. "There is no one around."

"Same on my side." XR scans and feels a bit shy on what to say. "How are you feeling? Have you eaten?"

"I am well, a bit low on energy." Nos calmly said.

"I got you some batteries here, honey." XR hands it to him.

"Thank you." Nos didn't pay to mind until he bit down the battery. He looks at XR who only smiles. "We are at work." Nos said with a deadpan look.

"Can I call you that? Maybe Sweetheart is better; it has a nicer ring to it."

[You're not saying no~]

Nos swats the imaginary Ryder and clears his voice. "We are on duty."

"Speaking of which, do you want to get dinner together here on the planet during break?" He asked. "And don't worry it's just dinner, not a date yet," he added.

Nos wanted to object but he did not bring enough with him and the battery he ate fueled him enough for a few hours. "Promise to behave?"

"Of course! Scouts honor." XR grins and holds a hand up.

"Are you truly a scout?" Nos raised a brow and crossed his arms.

"Does leading space Cadets count?" XR asked and Nos hummed in thought and held his chin in thought before shrugging.

"Fair enough but do you have a spot in mind?" Nos asked before his ears perked and sensed someone coming. He changed back and around the corner was Lightyear.

"Agent Atu, XR, we're needed in the peace treaty." Buzz states and sees the agent walks past him. He looks to his friend. "Did he say anything?"

"Buzz, we were just doing a perimeter check." XR answers and treads away to follow Nos.

Buzz was skeptical about the agent but he felt the same for XR now seeing him following and getting friendly with the agent. Perhaps he can find a way to question the agent without XR there.

Later

Nos waited on the top where there was a balcony in the grand hall where the treaty between two clans to emerge was starting but with him was XR and Mira as Ryder was with Buzz and Booster. Not that he was against it, he was fortunate that Miss Mira was here but she seems to be, and obviously supportive of XR, having made an excuse to leave them alone as she had to check a different spot or something about female problems. So here they were on the balcony.

"So do you think this treaty will last long?" XR asked.

"The signing or their peace?" Nos asked.

"Both and I'm kinda confused why this treaty is a threat for Zurg?" XR asked.

"Because this planet holds the mining that Zurg wants that can generate his weapons by 30%. The problem is the mining is between the zeelu clan and the lulla clan. Zeelu was in favor of the tyrant but Lulla was against Zurg. This made a division between clans because both owned the mining rights. Luckily the galactic alliance made an armistice pact between them by giving them protection so long as both clans sides with the Galactic Alliance." Nos spoke but looked annoyed. "But there are some Zurg followers against the pact and the peace alliance."

XR hums. "So you think this pact won't last."

Nos shrugs. "I could care less if they are not the best of peaceful folks. I prefer to dismantle Zurg's power in some way." Nos looked to XR who was quiet but nodded.

"I can't say I'm hopeful, I'm not like Buzz. I doubt this would last, but I think the main focus here is to just dismantle Zurg and his resources." XR looked out to the bottom and then back at Nos. "Can I ask another question?"

"Of course." Nos asked.

XR hesitated but thought of it. "You told me you gave up being a villain and I know the story so far, but I can't seem to roll my system on something after so much thinking…. why couldn't you defect before?"

Nos was quiet before he looked down. "... I could and could not at the same time." Nos paused and took a moment and opened his chest to show his core. "My core was not originally like this. When I turned, Zurg made it certain I could not defect: he made my core purple with evil…. using his blood." Nos hesitated. "I was not always an energy- antimatter- whatever vampire I am at this point. I was a robot that he built that was still in the works. You can say I was an experimental robot; sounds familiar does it not?"

"So you're telling me you were an experimental robot too!?" XR was perplexed. "Wow, that's a plot twist in your origin story."

Nos nodded. "My memories are still fuzzy but I remember some bits of it. Zurg saw an opportunity and turned me into something more than a mere robot. However, he needed to make me a weapon without resistance and to do that, he needed to make sure I would not hesitate." Nos hated the memories of being tortured. "He tortured me for a month to break any ounce of will to defect. He even forced all fighting skills, everything about Lightyear and how he was to be destroyed. When I failed to incinerate an organic being, he would blast me or dismantle me painfully." He could not look at XR as he continued on. "After a month, he grew tired and decided to proceed with injecting antimatter and the vampire program thanks to our new villain who was there to see the process." Nos glares out at the memory. "DRAC erased my memories of the time after Zurg injected his blood in me. Luckily I was not enticing enough for that lecherous cretin until now." Nos pauses and looks away and crosses his arms. "It is why I hate Zurg and Buzz Lightyear. To be the ultimate weapon of destruction without a say and I kept believing it was my choice to be evil. Being destroyed freed me and more than anything, I am able to be myself without Zurg's will in me. Defecting to be good like Lightyear, was not something I want much less be interested in saving people. I was content to live quietly but after saving Vanet, I chose the hero gig not to be a hero of the galaxy or that shining star. The only thing that mattered to me was knowing that I am making it safe for my own world, my daughter." He could not look at XR but feels XR hugs him.

"Just so you know, I'm not pitying you, I'm comforting you." XR explains, hugging him as his organic disguise. "You know, we're not so different. We were both made to level up to Buzz, with our own different purposes. We even both failed to live up to it but that didn't stop us. I'm happy I'm me and I'm a space ranger, but sometimes I wish I was made for a different purpose as a space ranger. The only reason I'm staying is cuz I like my job right now. I just haven't found a good reason to leave. Or that I…. Don't want to let my pops down." XR lets go. "Sounds ridiculous right?" He smiles but Nos hugs him.

Nos looks at him and hugs him tightly. "It is not ridiculous. You are a very amazing Space ranger in your own way." He spoke and felt XR hugs him back.

"Would it kill the mood if we made out?" XR asked.

"And the moment ends." Nos pulls away. "Cheeky ranger." He had his hands on his own hips.

"Charming vampire~" XR winks at him. "Had to take a shot… but I didn't hear a no." He leans forward.

"Not the time." Nos held a hand up but XR kissed his palm making him flustered.

"Then at a later time." XR grins and looks out to see the signing started. He changes back and leans against Nos.

Nos did not know if he should be relieved or concerned about that grin. He paused but placed his hand XR kissed over his mouth, ignoring the look XR had and he did not have to see it.

Day 2 XR's romantic Boquet

Nos was heading to the office, his mind was everywhere but trying hard not to think about yesterday at the peace treaty. Just as he entered the building, The usual agents lingering around were not around. Nos did not care until he made his way up the stairs. That was when he was sensing a strong energy barrier in one room on the second floor. He did not want to be late but he knew somewhere the agents had the intention to prank him so might as well know their plan. He quietly headed over to see and was shocked by the sight.

"Alright all bets on! See how long this will go on Nos's love life!" One of the agents shouted Nos glares down at them before stepping in.

Ryder was going in to place his bet when he stops and leaves before Nos gets a whiff of him. When an agent ran out the door and one flew out.

Later Nos was looking through the files when he heard a door open and close.

"Ryder you are here, I need your assistance." Nos was getting annoyed by the paperwork he had to go through but perked at the smell of flowers. He turns to see it was XR there with a small bouquet but saw they were not the usual romantic roses. He recognized they were wildflowers from the field he brought XR and Vanet.

"I was directed to this office to bring a lovely bouquet Vanet and I made for you." XR grins and holds out the bouquet.

Nos was perplexed but accepted the gift, but couldn't stop XR kissing his cheek and grinning as he ran out. "I gotta go but I'll see you later!" XR waves off. Nos was a dark shade but he held the flowers to his chest. Later that day, he and Vanet were coming up to their home and found the whole grass was replaced with beautiful flowers.

Day 3 XR being forward

Nos was making his way to his shop so that Vanet could enjoy her time with Bunicul in his cafe since it was the afternoon. He had thought of only working for two hours in the shop and spending the rest of the day with his family. Just as he made a turn, he hid away before XR could see him. He wondered why must he be hiding again when clearly he's-

"Heya handsome."

Nos nearly fell back had XR not caught him. He was pulled up but held up close to the humanoid XR. "You know I'm getting some deja vu~ Must be a thing with you." The energy vampire can see his crush grinning but it was not a mere smirk or triumphant grin. He had a look when you found your prey right where you wanted them.

"Can you let go?" Nos asked but his core was practically beating against his chest panel.

"Nope, You'll fly away and I like you in my arms." XR grins. "But you gotta promise me you won't run away."

Nos was not but he did think of it. "I will not run out, I have work to do in the shop."

"Thank you." XR lets go but keeps close to him. "Remember you told me you'd give me anything on the day of the beach?" XR grins mischievously.

Nos recalled that and was wide eyed. "And…?"

"And I had been thinking about what I could want. It got me thinking, pondering, thinking more, maybe thinking of getting selfish and asking for something that was worth it." XR grins at Nos who is worried now. "So I kept thinking until I got it."

Nos was now nervous. "What do you want then….?"

"For 2 hours every time you're here, I would like to learn how to sculpt from you." XR answers.

Nos was confused and deflated. "That is all? I cannot let you waste a request. I can teach you for free. choose something that is within my power, morally speaking."

"So you want me to ask for more and think I would be as perverted as DRAC?" XR raised a brow and was scoffed and crossed his arms. "I'm not some pervert without dignity like that old pervert! I'm a pervert with dignity." He corrected Nos.

Nos could not help but chuckle. "No you are not like DRAC, you are much better than him in manners. Choose something else XR, just reasonable please."

"Since you are being generous, there is something I really want from you~" XR leans forward.

Nos mentally smacks himself, practically letting XR free range on him. "What is it?"

"I would like to hug you, anytime I want." XR stated. "Not for sympathy or friendly reasons. I want to selfishly hold you in my arms anytime, anywhere. I know you haven't told me your answer but I want to express my core to you."

Nos was flabbergasted. "Just a hug? That is all?"

"Yep, I mean, would letting me have my wicked ways be better? Because I know a good love hotel that's in the city but I don't want to scare you off. I have time till that happens…. Unless you want to do it now~?" XR intertwines his hands with his.

"I am happy to give you hugs anytime, anywhere!" Nos pulled back, he was dark blue and was sure of it from the grin plastered on XR's face but saw XR kept his hand in his. XR pulls him into a tight hug and Nos could not help but enjoy until XR carried him away and took him to his shop.

"By the way, we can start the class now!" He ran to the shop. Nos was blushing as he clung to XR who ran almost inside had he not stopped to let Nos unlock the door.

At the end of the 2 hours, XR was more than happy and especially left a flustered Nos. the energy vampire who was trying to process all the flirting XR laid out on him when he hugged him. And the shocks that cheeky ranger elicited his body each time he hugged him-

"Nos I know you're in the Woods! I'm ok!" XR shouted.

The reason he was hiding as of this moment was because of his action he did onto his little- to XR.

Earlier that day, in the GAF Headquarters

Nos was getting ready to leave but he looked at the tracker he had on XR without him knowing and saw he was in star command. He sighed in relief as he was putting his work to take home in his bag but also his gift XR sent him today. He saw it was a makeshift origami heart that made him smile.

"Are you two a thing now?" Ryder asked, "Cuz I've been seeing him bringing you gifts and small bouquets for a few days…. And I keep missing chances to get his autograph."

Nos hid the gift away and looked anywhere but his partner. "I do not know how to answer that- wait you have dated people before right?" Nos looks at him.

"I have dated organic females but yes, why?"

"I need advice. I do lo- have affection for XR but I do not know if I should reciprocate. My worries get the best of me but this is XR! He should be happy with someone who is not an ex criminal." Nos replies.

"You know if you're worried about his reputation, it's not much." Ryder answers. "I get a bad reputation myself."

"But you were not a known villain who was created by a psychotic tyrant." Nos grumbles.

"Yet he's still around you for you. Nos, bud, you are circling around for nothing when you already got the answer. You have a great chance with this guy, don't overthink it." Ryder pats his shoulder.

Nos smiles a bit and thanks Ryder and goes to leave.

Ryder watches him leave and waits before calling up. "He's heading home, bossman."

When Nos got home he took out his keys and checked on the tracker. 'He's still at star command.' "That is good, I will have time to think about my feelings. Vanet is with Gravitina and Tata is at some kind of convention." He smiles thinking of ways to relax.

"I will have the place all to myself-"

"I'd rethink that again, gorgeous." XR hugs him from behind. Nos tense up but could not for the life of him get out. It reminded him of that time when XR trapped him in his arms. 'But he was still in star command! How-?!' He stops thinking when he feels XR holds him against his body.

"You're not the only bot with a few tricks. I knew you had a tracker on me so I thought I tricked you back. Happy to see it worked."

Nos can practically hear him grin. "Why are you here exactly?"

"Well I was going to spend some time with you, Vanet, and your dad, but I just heard from you that you are all alone."

"Yes, so you should understand I intend to read and spend my time alone." Nos growls, but he feels XR leans to his ear.

"How can I go when I get a chance to spend time with my dear Nosy~?" XR whispers. "I mean you and I can spend some one on one time together?"

Nos tried to not feel flustered but XR was hugging him from behind and the worst part was he was enjoying it. He can tell XR knew it when he feels him nuzzling against him.

"Will you let me in~? I'll be good~" XR grins. 'I do have the key he gave me, but I want to ask him first.'

Nos could not answer but he nodded and felt XR unwrapped him enough to free his arms, but not his body. He unlocks the door and enters with XR behind and he closes the door. At this point he felt he was trapped in his home with a beast no matter how much XR's smile looked innocent. "XR, there is oil in the cabinet from the closet and can you get me a battery?" Nos asked, but he did not change back, mostly because he became so used to the disguise, it became a natural thing for him.

"Sure thing."

Nos feels XR release him and goes to the kitchen as Nos looks for a record to play. He looked through the stack but his mind was thinking what to do with XR here ramming against that barrier he made. 'I am afraid I will hurt him or do something regretful.' He pulls out a record and without looking at the name, he plays it and tenses up. He recognized the song made by a man named Frank Sinatra but the song was called "Let's fall in love."

"I thought I was being romantic."

Nos blushes and turns to see XR grinning. He stops the song as XR walks over to him. "I can pick another song- or you can pick it. I can show you some other good music here." Nos turns away but tenses when XR walks over and by his side.

"I liked the song, it's something I don't get to hear everyday that's pretty vintage. Plus it does give the vibe I'm trying to express to you." XR looked over to the record and was surprised to see it was an old time record.

"Can you tell me more about the records?" XR asked and he sees Nos light up. They sat down as Nos was explaining how it works and showed him how to work it. He went a bit off about how the record was made and despite it being off the romantic vibe, XR was listening and enjoying it. The whole time, XR fell for his crush all over again

"You light up like a star." XR smiles. "It's pretty nice."

Nos smiles, feeling his core pulse as he holds the bar. "Thank you, it is nice to talk about the record player. It is even amazing how it works without electricity." Nos bites the energy bar XR brought him.

XR drinks his oil and listens to Nos and the songs. He wondered what else he was passionate about, or what else Nos likes. Yeah they talked, but he never got to deeply know Nos like this. "Has there been a song you liked?"

Nos perked and thought about it. "Well there is one song. It might be a little romantic but it makes me feel relaxed."

XR perked up. "Now I need to hear it. I mean to hear something you like, it's gotta be good." This was something he never got to hear, something that wasn't for the store, or cafe. It was a song from Nos's very core. He watches Nos, carefully, takes the record out and places it back in its case. When he puts it away, he looks through the shelf and takes out a different record, placing it in the record player. Nos turns it on and the song begins with a soft melody and then he hears a man sing.

"Fly me to the moon,

And let me play among the stars."

XR was surprised to see Nos's eyes glowed and that's when he decided at that moment to stand. "May I have this dance?"

Startled as he was, Nos could not help but smile and take his hand. He was not startled when XR pulled him close.

"Fill my heart with song,

and let me sing forever more.

You are all I long for, all I worship and adore.

In other words, please be true!"

XR dances and twirls Nos who went with the flow, keeping to the beat. But as they dance, it was different from the small jingles they hear on the radio at the shop.

Fly me to the moon,

And let me play among the stars.

Let me see what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars.

Nos dances with XR, but his core was vibrating as he could not stop when bit by bit, the space between was closing up. He wondered how much he could keep his core from popping out and would XR catch it if it did?

Both bots wished the song kept going.

In other words, darling, kiss me.

XR pulls in close and dips Nos and pulls him close. He felt his core getting excited at the proximity now. He felt the times they were getting close, it was never like this, there were no words to speak, no need for them when he felt Nos's energy dance around them. He remembers the times Nos sparks up when he achieved a good perfect sculpture, when he beat him in a game of cards. Rarely are the times when he gets so blissful.

XR and Nos heard the song's ending but they couldn't pull away. Nos moves his arms around XR. The said dancing partner wraps his own arms around Nos's hips.

XR and Nos come to an end and XR leans forward and kisses him. Nos welcomes it and kisses him back, cutting his restraint and throwing out reason. XR keeps his arms around Nos's hips, he didn't want him to escape.

Nos kisses him back with much vigor and when they pull away, Nos in euphoric daze, leans in for a kiss and his crush obliges but he is pushed into a wall. Nos was pinned to the wall but he did not care to notice when XR was kissing him. his mind was in a fog, dazed the deeper the kiss got until those kisses moved away and XR kissed his neck. Nos eyes widened and gripped his shoulders when XR kissed his neck more until he bit him. That's when Nos was startled and felt an unfamiliar sensation resonate in his body that his first instinct was to bite him back.

And he did.

He pinned XR to the wall and bit XR in the neck.

"Ah!" XR clings to Nos and holds him close but just as he was getting a moment of excitement, he felt Nos stop.

Nos froze and pulled away fast enough and realized what he had done and panicked. Seeing liquid ooze like blood, he did the only thing he could do without a thought.

He ran.

He didn't stop and didn't hear XR call him back, he felt his mind with so many things that he was having a hard time processing what just happened.

Present

Nos leans against the trunk of the tree as he was wondering and feeling dread. 'I hurt him!' His core was feeling a pang and the fear of losing him was becoming a reality. He curls to himself and feels tears pouring down. 'I'm an idiot and XR will hate me-'

"Hey if you're already thinking I hate you, I don't spider monkey!"

Nos was startled to see XR climbs on top of the branch with him.

"Nos I'm not mad you bit me, I'm mad that you ran away." He can see XR shaking, he was keeping his balance on the branch to reach up to him. "Yes you bit me but I liked it, a lot! I liked it alot back then even!" Nos sees XR was now on top and over him.

"I- I could have drained you! I want you but I am terrified I can lose myself to devouring you." Nos tried to sit up but XR pinned him back.

"Nos, even if you did, I trust you because I know you won't hurt me on purpose." XR cups his face and kisses him. He feels Nos tension loosens until he relaxes and kisses back. XR pulls away a bit, feeling the tip of Nos tongue. "You have no idea how much I love you. It's to the point that being without you, hurts." XR mumbles but holds him. "I knew what was going to happen when I bit your neck. I know better than anyone but I want that too! I want to be the only one you bite and drain energy when you need it. I want you to want only me." XR states affirmative. "Because I want you Nos. All of you." XR hears his beeper and groans. It was Star Command's call for a mission.

"You need to go." Nos spoke feeling his core calmer now and sees XR was not so happy to leave so he pulls him into a kiss. "I am not rejecting you, far from that." He reassures him. "I have a lot to say but I know you need to go for now."

XR smiles with hope and kisses Nos again and taking this opportunity, he leans to Nos neck and bites down. Nos was turning dark and clinging to XR until he had to push the space ranger away but was startled to see XR's lips with traces of some metallic liquid. He watches XR licks his lips clean. "There, we're even, I'll see you tomorrow!" He shouts as he flies off. Nos watches him fly off but his core, his mind, is going into overdrive. 'How and when did I enjoy being submissive?'
