Dan had just woken up from a nightmare about Drago. He then realized that his mom, Runo, Julie, Baron and Mira were hovering over him. He then sits up and says "Hi"
Everyone exhaled
"Oh, are you all right?" Dan's mom asked
"Must have been some nightmare" Runo said
"You interrupted my beauty sleep"
"I thought we were being attacked" Wilda said
"Don't scare us like that again" Nemus told
"Master Dan, we all know it hasn't been that easy for you since you lost Drago" Baron said
Dan then looked outside his bedroom window and said "I was hoping that was just a bad dream. I can't believe Drago is really gone"
"You'll get him back Dan" Mira said "Please you can't give up"
Dan stands up on his bed "There's no time to feel sorry for myself, I've got to start training hard so I'm primed for a rematch"
"Right" Runo agree
"Oh right! Shake it off and get back out there" Julie cheered
"Well, if you're going to get training, then I better get cooking"
A moment later
Miyuko has wiped up some food for everyone. "Hope you like it" She said
"Looks delicious" Dan grabbed his forks and stuff his mouth with his food like his old-self
"Let's dig in" everyone said and started eating but not as fast as Dan did
"If I'm gonna train as hard as Master Dan then I'm gonna eat as hard as Master Dan" Baron said stuff his face like Dan
"It's good to see Dan's got his appetite back" Miyuko smile at her son "He seems like his old perky-self again"
"Yeah" "Weird I never thought Dan would be able bounce back without Drago, but he's looking good" Runo thought
Dan started to slow down his eating and then stopped "It's not working" Dan said softly depressed "This Is all my fault. Drago's gone"
"You shouldn't blame yourself" Nemus said
"Drago wouldn't want you to" Wilda said
Dan didn't respond
"I don't think he hears us" Runo said
Later Dan was in the family room looking outside the window think about Drago.
"Master Dan? Hello earth to Dan?" Baron said hopping to get a response "Wow, Master Dan really must be messed up" He thought
In the kitchen Runo and Julie were cleaning the dishes and Mira walked in "You know Julie Dan's been apart from Drago before but it's never affected him this bad" Runo said
"Julie then said Drago is a part of him"
"It's like he's lost all hope. We've got to figure out a way to help Dan snap out of it, Drago needs him more than ever" runo said
Mira went back and looked at Dan "Dan, I'm so sorry"
"I feel like a traitor, my brother is one who's causing all this misery" She thought
At a storage house
"The Dragonoid is now mine Gus. And yet I feel strangely unsatisfied" Spectra said
"But Master, now you can complete your plan to build the most power hybrid bakugan ever created. Then you and I will remake New Vestroia in our own image" said Gus

On a Vestal Destroyer Mylene was talking with Prince Hydron on a holo screen and holo screen of a map showing the dimensional controllers pulsing energy throughout New Vestroia "As you can see Prince Hydron, now that the Dragonoid is gone, the dimensional controller's power is increasing once again. It even covers the area of the destroyed alpha control left unprotected. Now if we can close the gate before the rest of the battle brawlers resistance return from Earth, there will be no one left to interfere with our plans." She said
"Have you forgotten about Spectra, Gus and Lync? They haven't come back yet have they?" The Prince said
"Those three will find their own way back, I'm sure-"
"No! We wait until they return." Hydron interrupted "If I know Spectra, he'll come back with something of value. Let's see what he finds"
"Right" Mylene ended the transmission
"You enjoy power too much Mylene" Hydron said
"Why doesn't that brat listen?! If we weren't the prince I would tear him apart"!
"hahahhahahahhaha!" Mylene heard a hysterical laugh
It was Shadow, he hopped out of hiding "I love this 'big scare Mylene taking orders from a kid"
"Great! Freak show started" Mylene said
Shadow laughed and clapped with his feet "That royal punk really got you steamed up, you should let him know whose boss"

Back at Dan's house mira was cleaning the table.
"Julie, I'll check if Dan want's to watch a movie" Runo said from the kitchen
"ooww, how about a romance with lots of kissing" Julie said
Runo went to the family room but Dan wasn't there neither was baron
"Mira, where's Dan?" Runo asked
She answered "I'm not sure, he and Baron were talking about going on a run"
"A run? I guess its okay as long as he takes it easy" Runo said
"Runo you I know both know that Dan never takes anything easy"
"Yeah" Runo whispered to herself
Mira then realized something "Speaking of which, where's Hydranoid?"
Julie came in and said "He called Alice to pick him, he said he wanted to give Dan some space or that he needed some space. It's a bit strange for him?"
"Yeah, I know, Hydranoid and Drago use to be strong rivals but then became friends, Hydranoid has even saved Drago twice, he even saved Drago from Naga when he reached into Drago's chest to grab the infinity core"
"Wow, I had no idea" Mira said
*bam* the front door open and Baron came in carrying Dan who was unconscious
"Dan!" the three girls shouted and ran towards them "what happen Baron?" Mira asked
Baron answered "Master Dan was training and then he collapse, I think he has a fever his forehead is so hot"
Somewhere in New Vestroia's Perfect Core
The Six ancient warrior Bakugan were standing around the perfect core "the Perfect Core's strength is fading, we must retrieve the young Dragonoid and restore him before it is too late for New Vestroia" Apollonir said
In Dan's bedroom
Surrounded by his friend Dan was sleep in his bed with a cool towel over his forehead
"Aw, he look so peaceful lying there all unconscious" Julie said
"We should have realized he was sick" Mira said
"What's the point Dan wouldn't have listened" Runo said
"I should have stopped him, but he does whatever he wants he's Master Dan. I guess even he has limits" Baron said
"If he fights Spectra too soon and loses, I don't think he'll be able to take it" Runo said
"So we all agree, we can't let him battle in his condition" Mira said
"Baron then stood up and said "Then I will battle Spectra for Master Dan"
"I'm sorry Baron but you're not ready for that, Spectra is even more dangerous now that he's got his hands on Drago" Mira said
"Then you have to do it Mira we have no choice" Baron
Mira then said "But I can't"
A bright red light appeared and when went away, it was Apollonir in ball form "Hello, battle brawler" he said
"Wait, I remember you, your one the six legendary soldiers?" Runo asked
"Yes, I am Apollonir and I'm here to retrieve Drago"
"Oh, I'm sorry, but Drago has been captured" Julie said
"I know, that is why I'm hear, I've come to help young Dan in saving Drago"
"You really think you can get Drago back?" Baron asked
"Yes"
"No" Dan said recovered and sitting up in his bed shocking everyone that he is all better
"Dan?" Runo said
"There's only one bakugan that can get Drago back, he defeated him before he can do it again, only Hydranoid can save Drago" Dan when straight to his computer and called for a video chat with Alice
Alice answered and popped up the screen "Dan! Are you okay?"
"Listen Alice, I need both you and Hydranoid's help. I need you both to battle Spectra and win back Drago"
"Uh Dan, what makes you think we can bring Drago back?" she asked
"Because you and Hydranoid beat me and Drago before, you can do it again, I know you can"
"But Dan that was when I was Masquerade and I sent you to the Doom Dimension, I'm not sure could I handle being him again"
Alice, I get that you don't want to be Masquerade again but he wasn't all bad remember he saved me when we were in Vestroia, he's a brawler, one of us, and you don't have to be him to save Drago, I know you can do it, Hydranoid is only one who can match Drago. Please Alice" Dan begged
Hydranoid then popped opened and said "Alice I understand you're worried but you have to remember Masquerade is you, your powers are his powers and his powers are your power's, we can do this."
Alice then remembered Masquerade's words before he left "Okay Dan, I'll be there soon" Alice used her transporter card and teleported into Dan's room. "Thank you Alice"
Alice smiled at Dan and asked "So how do we find Spectra?"
"I can help with that" Apollonir eyes glowed "I am link to the perfect core, just like Drago, Spectra cannot hide him from me. I see him, let us proceed" Apollonir then teleported everyone I the room.
At the storage barracks the brawler appear with Gus and Spectra in front of them "what the?" Gus said in surprised
Spectra stood up "you finally found me, took you long enough" he said
"What's the matter? Afraid to give me another shot, because I'm gonna take back Drago" Dan said
"Nice try winers, you don't stand a chance against Spectra, no matter how many times you brawl" Gus said
"Then why don't you prove it?" Dan said
"You're not worthy for master Spectra"
"I accept your challenge Dan Kuso" Spectra said
"But why master?" Gus asked
"It's my chance to test the Dragonoid's powers"
Dan growled
"What will you brawl with, I'm pretty sure I took your only bakugan?"
"That's because I won't be battling you! You be battle against Alice!" Dan said as Alice took a few steps forward
Spectra chuckled and said "Have it your way"
"Are you ready Spectra?" Alice put on her gauntlet
"I'm always ready" Spectra put on his gauntlet
Dan, Julie, Runo, Mira and Baron put their hands on Alice's shoulder so they would get caught in the time stop
"Go gauntlet power strike' Spectra and Alice said unison
"Helios I want to test Hydranoid, to see if he is worthy of facing the Dragonoid"
"Never fear, the hydranoid has no chance I will crush, him like I crushed Drago"
"It was the power of the forbidden card that defeated Drago, you won't need it to beat Hydranoid. Gate card set" Spectra threw done his card. "And now will face pyrus Helios, Bakugan brawl, Helios stand"
As Helios arises he destroyed his side of the roof of the storage building.
"Hey that's Helios" Dan said
"We don't want him" runo said
"Bring out Drago" Dan said
"Yeah, bring out the A team" Baron said
Gus laughed "hahaha, guess you forgot to say pretty please, you have to earn the right to battle Drago"
"Then I'll take down Helios and make you bring him out! Are you ready Hydranoid?" Alice asked
"Yes, Alice, I'm ready to brawl"
"Okay then, let's go, Bakugan Brawl Alpha Hydranoid stand"
As Hydranoid rised he destroyed his roof side of the storage house
"So you're the last of the six fighting bakugan, you don't look so powerful to me" Helios said to Hydranoid
"Then how about you show me your pathetic power, or do I need to give a lesson in power"
"Helios growled as did Hydranoid and they both took to the air "you'll pay for that!"
"Keep your cool, Helios, ability activate, Maximum Quasar" Helios fired at Hydranoid

Alice respond by activating an ability "ability activate double dimension"
A darkus shroud blocked Helios's attack

"That's not all, ability activate, Destroy Vanish" Hydranoid fire his mini heads and wrapped around Helios, brought him closer to Hydranoid and started to grind Helios with his belly saw.
"We're gonna bring helio's power to zero the take on Drago" Alice said
"Hold on Helios come bakugan trap pyrus Metalfencer" once metalfenncer appear Spectra said "Metalfenncer go to battle mode immediately!"
Metalfencers eyes glowed, it then land on Helios's back and moved it canons onto his hand, feet and tail combining their powerand stopping Hydranoid's grinding

"Now the battle begins, ability activate Red Valkeryie" Spectra said

"Ability activate, double dimension"
A darkus shroud blocked Helios's attack
"I'll just blast my way through your shield" Helios kept firing
"Pathetic, relying on a machine to do your work, Alice show them the power of bakugan spirit"
"Okay Hydranoid, Ability activate Terminal Trident"

Each Hydranoid head fired an electric orb then were fused together taking down Helios and metal fencer
"Helios! rrrr he swatted Helios and metal fencer out of the sky like insects" Spectra said "Impossible I never lose!"
Spectra's life gage was now at 30% and Hydranoid return to Alice
"That was awesome Alice" Dan said
"Yeah way to show some girl power" Julie said
"Thanks" Alice said with a smile
"Interesting that hydranoid was impressive" Spectra said
"Give me another chance, I can take him" Helios said
"No I think not, perhaps this bakugan can bring out the beast in our Dragonoid"
"Okay Spectra, I've defeated Helios know bring out Drago!"
"Only Drago is equal to my power" Hydranoid said
"All right" He said
"Gate card set, bakugan brawl Hydranoid stand"
"At last a real test, let's unleash the power of the perfect Dragonoid. Okay you want Drago? Bakugan brawl, stand Pyrus Drago"
Drago appeared in his natural for but looked different his colors where similar to Helios and the diamond on his chest was black and shadowy and his eyes were all white. The brawl, couldn't believe how he's changed "oh no, that's Drago? What have they done to you? Dan said
"What's wrong don't you're recognized your all friend Drago?" Spectra said
Drago let out a roar
"Drago!" Dan shouted
"Horrible, that's Drago?" Runo said
"Not the Drago I know" Julie said
Drago charged at Hydranoid and pinned him against the building causing the brawler to run to the side to no get crushed.
Drago, stop! Listen me! it Dan your partner!" Dan said
Incredible, even Drago could not resist the power of the Vexos" Appolonir
"Doesn't matter Drago's still Drago, no matter what happens he and I will always be connected I know it! I'll never give up on him. You hear me Drgao? I'm not gonna give up!" Dan said
Drago turned his attention to Dan
"He hears me"
Drago let out a roar and hammered his tail in front of Dan
"Drago attacked me?"
Drago roared at Dan then Hydranoid tackled him but Drago knocked him down.
Spectra chuckled "bakugan are no more than animals, I am
Drago's master now, he is under my complete control, talk all you want he can hear you anymore, hahahah"
"That what you think, but I'm going to change him I promise that" Alice said
"Foolish girl, you're welcome to try but, you and that weak Bakugan don't stand a chance against the perfect core combined with the forbidden card Chaos Ability X. Ability activate, Dianos Cocos X" Spectra threw the card onto drago and wrapped around him

Hydranoid: 550
"Hang on Drago, we're gonna save you" Alice said and activated her abilities "double ability activate Indigo nightmare plus fusion ability Final demolition"
Hydranoid: 950
"Nice try, but my move isn't finished yet, have you forgotten what the forbidden card does? It pushes bakugan past their limits to the extreme. Of course they do pay a price for infinite power." Spectra said as Drago generated an aura around and increasing his power.
Drago: 1150
"No way! Master Drago's power level went up even more" Baron said look at his gauntlet
"Bonus. And thanks to the Dianos Cocos X ability, drago's power level will always be 200 more than his opponents level, your move" Spectra said
"Well how's Alice supposed to beat that move?" Runo said "Spectra's cornered her"
"This battle is going downhill, just how many abilities does that forbidden card have anyway? Julie asked
"That's too much for one Bakugan Spectra, your overloading him" Dan told Spectra
"Ha what's the point of having power if you're afraid to use it? That's why you'll never beat me. Let's go Drago, ability activate, Burning dragon
Drago: 1350
Drago generated fire ball in his mouth "Watch out Alice" Dan said
"She can't raise Hydranoid's power level they're through" Baron said
"Not yet, ability activate Double dimension. You forget the ability card double dimension nullifies your opponent's abilities" Alice told

"Watch as this card takes Drago's power down to zero" Alice placed a card in her gauntlet "ability activate Destruction Grind"
Hydranoid luached a group of mini heads and wrapped them around Drago and pulled him over. As Drago came closer Hydranoid's belly saw started to grind him, continuously decrease his power level.
"Enough of this! Ability activate Dianos Durance X" Spectra threw down another forbidden card onto Drago. Then it wrapped around and then wrapped around Hydranoid. Drago's power began to increase while Hydranoid decreased.
"What's happening?" Hydranoid said
"Spectra answered "can't you tell, Drago is stealing your power level and any chance you had at defeating us, Relax it will be over min"
"Hold it, gate card open Flat Power" Alice said

Hydranoid: 550g
"The command card flat power restore all bakugan to their base level, nullifying all abilities"
"We're back to square one I don't believe it"
"Hydranoid and Drago butted head, then they clashed their hands against each other, next, one of Hydranoid head bite Drago's neck. Drago roar, then wiped his tail at Hydranoid, hitting him a few steps back. Hydranoid held his ground and fired three electric orbs that fused into one knock Drago down into ball form.
"Most impressive, but futile" Spectra pick Drago up "you can't win Drago back unless your power levels are at least 500 more than his"
Alice caught Hydranoid
Helios hovered over my spectra "That's the best the Dragonoid can do? Spectra let me finish Hydranoid I will demolish him"
"YOU want to battle? Don't be so anxious Helios, why don't you just sit back and enjoy the carnage" Spectra threw down his gate card "gate Card Set!"
"You'll never take Drago, bakugan brawler, Drago stand"
Drago appeared
"Hang on Drago! I promise we won't give up until we win you back!" Alice said and threw down Hydranoid "Bakugan, Brawl Hydranoid stand"
Hydranoid appeared
"So full of hope" Spectra said "but how will you feel after you see what this forbidden card does. Ability activate Vestroia X"
"He's using another forbidden card" Mira said
Drago's heart beated heavily and his muscle started to grow and his veins became easily visible.
Apollonir spoke can it be? He's forced Drago to summon the power of the perfect core, but how?"
"With one of these you old fool, fusion ability activate Darkus X" Spectra threw his card at Drago causing him to change into a Darkus theme Dragoind. Drago then fired a purple fireball.
Hydranoid stood his ground as the fireball hit but didn't knock him down
Drago: 500
Hydranoid: 350
"No! Drago used a Darkus ability" Dan said
"He's full of surprises now" Spectra used activated another ability "fusion ability activate Ventus X" Drago colors change into Ventus theme and ignited himself with green flames.
Drago soared then hit Hydranoid
Hydranoid: 250g
"Know he's using a Ventus ability" Julie said
"But how can a Ventus ability do all that?" asked
Apollonir then spoke "its Spectra, he's forcing Drago to access the perfect core with in his body, so he can use the powers of all six attributes"
"All six?" Alice said
Spectra laughed "Now you get it, Drago's perfect, the other bakugan we experimented on couldn't handle so much power, as long as I have Drago and the forbidden cards, we are unstoppable!"
In New Vestroia Perfect core
The other six ancient warriors were watching the battle through the perfect core orb
"The perfect core does have unlimited powers" Lars lion stated
"If Drago were still the perfect Dragonoid he be able to access with all six attributes with ease" Oberus said
"But he's not anymore, we gave Drago a temporary body and split the perfect core's powers between he and New Vestroia." Claf said
"He should not be able to use all those abilities right now, how is this possible?" Frosh asked
"It's the Forbidden card, it forces him to absorb more and more power. If Hydranoid cannot stop it Drago's body will burn out and the perfect core maybe lost forever" Exedra explained
"Alice and Hydranoid must not fail" Lars lion said
"Or it's the end of New Vestroia" Oberus said
Earth
"Destroy them Drago" Spectra said "fusion ability activate, Subterra X" Drago's colors now changed to Subterra theme. He then hit Hydranoid with his Silver bladed tail

"Fusion ability activate Aqous X" Drago now changed to Aqous theme and summon a water tornado, whirling Hydranoid up and then dropped him

"This is intense Hydranoids getting slammed" Baron said
"Then I'll put him out of his misery" Spectra said "fusion ability activate Haos X"
Drago change to Haos themed Bakugan. Drago generated two halo rings in front of him and blasted a yellow beam through them and hit Hydranoid, knocking him down
Drago: 1300g
Hydranoid: 150g
"Drago" Dan said softly and then notice the tears coming out of Drago's eye "What the? Dragos crying, Drago. You're tearing him apart, Drago!"
"The power of the forbidden cards and the Perfect core are too great, the combine energy is burning out Drago's new body. He doesn't have much time" Everyone looked at apollonir
"What?" Dan said
"The New body we gave him wasn't meant to contain so much might I'm afraid Drago could-" Apollonir couldn't finish the sentence
"Drago could die" Wilda said causing everyone to gasp
Drago return to his Vexos Pyrus look.
"Are you serious, Drago could die? He can't There's no way. No no no, Alice you have to do something!"
Alice looked at Drago frightened and pressured on saving Drago, she feels worried that she could make his condition worse and kill him and how she will beat Drago's power level. She then looked at her card glowing.
"Well Alice?" runo said
"She thinking" Julie said
"Just look at them Master Spectra there so scared they don't know what to do" Gus said
"Don't be fool they're just weighing their options, they don't want to harm there precise Drago. Hahahaha! Drago will happily tear them apart! Nothing will be the same from here on. Ability activate Neo Legend X!" Spectra the forbidden card into Drago's diamond chest.
Then Drago's veins grew even larger.
Drago: 3100g
"That's too much power for one bakugan" Alice said
The energy of all six attributes in the perfect core are pouring into him" Nemus said
"Neo Legend X combines all six attributes into one invincible bone crushing ability, so the question is Alice Gehabich, what are you going to do now?!" Spectra laughed
Drago's vein kept pulsing from his diamond "Spectra! How could you do this? Can't you see? All this power is destroying Drago!" Alice said
Spectra laughed "if the Dragonoid doesn't survive then it just means he wasn't worthy, then I'll have to find another bakugan who is"
"Worthy? You m-monster" Alice said
Hydranoid then spoke "Alice! We can do this, I believe in us"
"But Hydranoid what if you can't handle it like Drago?"
"Have faith, Alice" Hydranoid
"Okay, then let's go!"
"Ha, they still think they can win. Drago eliminate them!" Spectra said
Drago fired a fire ball
Alice then activated her abilities "Quadruple Ability Activate! Trident of Doom plus Blinding Spice plus Fusion ability Final Destruction, plus fusion ability Hydra Unity!"
I'm surprise you manage a Quadruple ability but it's still useless" Spectra said
The fire hit Hydranoid creating a bunch of dust and smoke "Like I said I'm unstoppa-" Spectra stop at the sight of Hydranoid still stand un harmed with 2 different colored orbs in each mouth.
Hydranoid head one: So tell me"
Hydranoid head two: was that"
Hydranoid head three: your best shot"
Hydranoid roared clearing the smoke.
"But how did?" Dan asked
"The ability hydra unit, steals 1500 point from you opponent and generate the energies all six attribute" Alice explain
The Hydranoid head on the right had Ventus and Haos mixed. The Hydranoid on the left had Subterra and Aqous mixed and the middle head had the mix of Pyrus and Darkus energies.
"Listen to me Spectra Drago is not your slave not, not ever!" Alice said
"What?!"
"Go Hydranoid! Bring back Drago
"It's time to home Drago. Time to come back us…Brother
Hydranoid fire the three orbs, they then fusion into one colorful orb
Drago: 3100-300-100-1500=1200
Hydranoid: 150+100+100+1500=1850
The orb hits Drago creating colorful lightning around his body and then his muscles and veins started to go back to normal size. He then fell and went back into ball form.
Spectra's life gage went to zero, Alice and Hydranoid had won.
Time had resume. "She did it" Mira said
"Master Alice is my hero" Baron said
"I knew she could do it"
"She one of the best brawlers-"Julie said
"Ever!" Runo finished
Drago had revert to his normal color scheme and landed on Alice's palm
"What are we going to do now that Drago's gone?"
"Never mind I got all the data I needed Gus. The next time Alice or Dan and I meet things will be different" Spectra took off his gauntlet "See you later battle brawlers" Gus and Spectra then left and Mira notice that he didn't look defeated worried what awful thing he's going to do next.
Alice walked over to Dan lean out her hand with Drago in her palm "Here you go Dan"
Dan grabbed and held Drago with both hands "Drago? Drago speak to me, are you all right pal?"
Drago opened up and spoke "Yes, Dan I'm all right thanks to Alice and Hydranoid" Drago and Dan face Hydranoid and Alice "Thank you Alice, so much I owe you everything" Dan said
"Your welcome Dan and you don't us anything we're just happy to see you and Drago together again" Alice said
"And I believe this belongs to you Drago" Hydranoid generated a small colorful orb out of his body and sent it into Drago's body.
"What was that?" Dan asked
"Before I was captured I sent out a small portion of the perfect energy within me to Hydranoid, because I knew that he could free me with its power and for that I thank you…brother"
Drago then turn back to Dan "Dan, I'm sorry I let you down"
"Ah no way you could let me down, I'm the one who lost the battle and put you through all that stuff with Spectra, I'm really sorry Drago. I'll never let that happen again"
"If it's not my fault then it's not your fault either, agreed?"
"Yeah agreed, partner" two then laughed, happy that they are back together again
