3rd POV

As Saria guided Apollo and Marth, the rain subsided allowing the sun to break out from the clouds. The light changes the many shades of gray to the vibrant, eye-catching colors of the city. Marth eyes glowed at the sight of the city, Apollo saw this and while he enjoyed the rain seeing Marth eyes shine like that caused a smile to form.

"Here we are. All we need to do is wait here. I don't recommend buying anything here, I say it's overpriced." Saria stated to them

The three are stranded outside a café called 'Resting Dragon'.

"I can't believe it." Apollo had a shocked expression placed on his forehead. "Yall have Chinese Starbucks."

Saria walled into the café, Marth followed soon after leaving the lonely Apollo who mind is breaking from the Starbuck like shop in front of him. The interior of the café was simple, with tile floors and tables; nothing out of the ordinary. Saria and Marth found a place to sit. They didn't say a word. Saria was always stoic so this wasn't surprising but Marth was too worried about the glares she believed she was getting from people. Apollo, who has barely recovered, entered the shop taking a seat next to them. They didn't wait long until other RI operatives came.

"I hope this next job is less stressful than the last one. It worked me to death." Apollo said as he followed Saria and the others to the vehicle in question.

Saria explained the situation regarding Apollo and Marth to the others. This wasn't anything out of the ordinary for the members of RI, due to it hiring people from all walks of life. The checkout process to leave Lungmen went smoothly so they were out in the open land heading towards the landship. All members inside decided to do their own thing, some looked out the window, others like Marth were taking a nap.

"Hey Apollo, where does your experience lay? Rhodes Island has tons of departments."

The woman named Closure asked him. He was informed that she was the head of the engineering department for RI.

"Saria explained how you did a lot during that explosion. You even had really useful arts too. With the ability to have fully functioning servants would be a dream for the engineering department. I can't express the amount of times I felt as if my back was going to be destroyed by carrying all the heavy equipment." Closure said.

Apollo placed his hand towards his chest and when it made contact rather than his hand stopping on his chest, instead his hand went into his chest as if he was putting his hand through water.

"The hell?" Closure muttered in amazement of the moment.

Apollo pulled a sphere, the same ones that contained the homunculi he used in Lungmen.

"I lend you a small number. It does take some energy out of me but it isn't enough for me to worry about." Apollo stated.

"Your hand just went into your chest! Is that your art? What is it exactly." Closure asked with a bright light shining from her eyes. Apollo swore he would have gone blind if he kept looking.

"That right, I can only pull the spheres from my chest." Apollo explained as he pointed to where the cube was. There was a small symbol.

Saria though she was driving due to the largely flat land of the area; she was able to snatch a glance at what's happening with Apollo in the passenger seat.

Closure was leaning closer and closer to Apollo trying to observe the symbol. Apollo palmed her face in return.

"The only thing that can save you at this point is god." Apollo said this as he grabbed the cross from his neck.

"If you don't want us to crash I recommend that you both tone it down." Saria said calmly but there was a demonic undertone to it.

Closure and Apollo went back into their seats. Closure continued to ask questions while Apollo dodged a lot of them. Eventually the party reached Rhodes Island. Apollo and Marth helped the group unpack all that was inside.

"Marth you will follow me to the medical department, we need to do an analysis on your body." Saria said.

"What about me?" Apollo asked.

"You will head to the HR room, inside you will meet operators Orchid and Yato. They normally handle the process of the requirement of new operators. She's on the third floor at the end of the hall on the left side." Saria explained.

Apollo simply gave her a thumbs up and walked away. "Hope things go well Marth!" He yelled before going up the stairs.

As Apollo walked up the stairs seeing the numbers on the wall get higher and higher with each level he soon saw a large white three painted on the wall.

"If I didn't see how massive it was on the outside I would have just assumed it was a normal naval ship, instead it looked like a small village on wheels." Apollo stated.

He continued down the hall moving.

"Come on, we need to hurry."

Apollo stepped to the side as he saw two kids run down the hall, just like Marth he noticed the oripathy symptoms on their skins, however unlike her he noticed them wearing black and blue bracelets. He rubbed his hair with his hand as he continued forwards.

"At least kids are able to enjoy life even with the magical rock cancer." The rhythmic metallic sound of him walking ended once he reached the door at the end of the hall. Written above the door frame were the words 'Human Resources office' in bold letters. Apollo looked at himself quickly noticing how this is his first normal interview in his life, it amused him.

Inside the room were two women. One was sitting at a desk near the back of the room drinking something while eating what seemed like cake. She had a large black hat accompanied with an outfit consisting of a gray top and a black skirt. The other one is holding a dark sword, she wore a visor and had a pair of horns coming out of her head. Other than that she wore a normal outfit; an undershirt, a sweater accompanied with leggings and a skirt.

"You must be the one Saria told me about, You can take a seat right there. I'm Orchid and the oni over there is Yato; we'll be the ones carrying out this interview."

Apollo took the seat as Orchid dug through the desk for a piece of paper. Apollo's eyes wandered around the room, the couches placed along with the dark blue color similar to the ocean. Gave off a relaxing atmosphere.

"Found it." Orchid said with relief as she placed the paper between them.

"I'll be asking you a few questions so if we employ you we have a file on you." Apollo nodded in response. "However I tell you that all of our operators came from different walks of life so you are allowed to not answer many of the questions, like place of birth and such." Orchid continued.

Orchid pulled out a pen. "So first question, why did you wish to join Rhodes Island?"

As Apollo was in the process of his interview, within the largely white color scheme of one of the medical rooms lied two people. Saria was doing an analysis of Marth's body to see the current state of her oripathy.

"This was a quick scan of your vitals so we don't have all the information currently but what I've seen is that your infection is in the beginning stages. Do you use arts by any chance?" Saria asked as she wrote notes down into a file.

Marth only nodded in response.

"I see." Saria place her hand her on chin. "Then you likely already know but you shouldn't use your body as a catalyst, it will only worsen your condition. Dealing with oripathy is already hard on people whether that be mentally or not."

"SARIA!"

Marth and Saria look towards the source of the sound to see a small child standing by the door.

"Ifrit, what are you doing here?" Saria stopped what she was doing and walked towards the child

"I snuck away from Silence to find you, and I; Ifrit the greatest at Rhodes Island did it." The child stuck out her chest in pride.

Saria placed a hand on the child's head. "You should head back to Silence, I can already imagine her looking for you; and you know how she is with me."

Ifrit's expression dropped after hearing it, while the girl was often in her own head it's clear that she understood something was between Saria and the woman named Silence. Saria noticed this and went towards her desk and moved some papers around to pull out a lollipop, Ifrit enjoyed her sweets like any other child would.

"Ifrit catch." Saria said as she tossed her the candy. "You should head back to Silence before she finds out you're here."

Ifirt nodded her head and dashed out the room, not even bothering to acknowledge Marth's existence the whole time.

Marth looked towards Saria. "Is she your little sister?"

"Does it really seem like that?" Saria replied as she walked back towards her desk.

"I never had siblings but I would imagine that's how they would talk to one another." Marth replied.

There was a small silence in the room with the writing of Saria being the only sound produced. "It's a complicated relationship I have with her, so I ask you not to worry too much about it. I just make sure she doesn't do anything crazy." Saria continued as she wrote more stuff on the file.

The silence came around again, neither one saying anything to the other. Saria grabbed another lollipop and placed it in her mouth, she grabbed another one and threw it to Marth. "Try it, it calms the nerves." That was all she said as she continued working. Silence would have taken over again if it wasn't for another kicking of the door.

"Marth, my friend, my dude, my comrade. I have received great news." Apollo charges in with his announcement. "I have earned an internship at Rhodes Island and we is working off the cost needed for the treatment." Just like Ifrit he pumped his chest forwards as he was expecting praise from either her or Saria.

"That's good to hear. Which department did you get assigned to?" Saria asked.

Apollo's joyful expression didn't change. "Actually I was appointed to the logistic department. Recording, moving information and so on. I just came to stop by before I head towards the logistics office." Apollo said.

Marth moved from where she was standing intending to follow him; however she was stopped. "Marth I can't have you leave yet, now we have to get situated into Rhodes Island with a room and such. You'll be able to talk to Apollo at a later time"

Apollo gave them both a thumbs. "Marth, I'll make sure to look for you after I finish everything here." Before Marth could even reply he was already out of the room.

"Not sure if it was a good or bad thing but he seems like a older Ifrit in some cases." Saria said, still sucking on the lollipop.

Marth replayed the events of both people in question and she reached a conclusion. "He really does in some ways."

As Apollo walked down the hallway he pulled out a piece of paper. Written on it was a floor level, door number and a name. 'Angelina'. "I guess she's my boss now."
