"Okay, okay, I think I know where we are, I'm guessing Village Bridge?" Ash joked.

"What gave you that idea?" Rosa asked.

"You know, the giant bridge, and the village built up on it." Ash said. "I'm going to head to the Pokemon Center and get my team checked up."

"No can do." Elliot said, looking at his C Gear.

"Why not?" Ash asked.

"No Pokemon Center here, next one is in Opelucid City." Elliot confirmed.

"Okay, then what are we going to… do…". Ash said, sniffing the air, Pikachu doing the same. "What is that wonderful smell?"

"Ash, what are you talking about?" Rosa asked.

"It's down there, come on!" Ash said.

Ash and Pikachu raced down a hill to a food truck set up at the base of the hill, with people gathered around excitedly.

"Is this where the amazing food is coming from?!" Ash exclaimed.

"Why yes it is! Are you two ordering?" The chef asked.

"Yes, one, no two, no nine bowls of whatever I'm smelling!" Ash said

"Alright, your number is 83, your order will be ready when the ticket is called." The chef said, handing Ash a slip of paper. "Now serving number 31, number 31!"

"Okay, you guys have, fun, waiting for food, I'm going to go and find, something else." Rosa said, leaving the boys excitedly waiting for their food.

"Min Min." Minccino said, leaping from Rosa's arms and rushing north, past the bridge.

"Minccino, where are you going?" Rosa asked, following MInccino carefully, seeing her sitting in front of a man with several Pokemon as the man played a flute.

"Oh I'm sorry I might have interrupted." Rosa apologized.

"Nothing to apologize for, all are welcome to my music." The man said.

"It was really pretty." Rosa said politely.

"Thank you, you know if you can find them, I know there are a few other musicians here in the village, if all four of us were together it would be truly amazing music." The man said.

"I can see what we can do. I'm Rosa by the way." Rosa said, picking Minccino back up.

"My name is August, August Derleth." The man said.

"Come on Minccino, this is at least more interesting than waiting for some food." Rosa said, as she headed back towards the bridge. "Now where would another musician be located?"

"Is Derleth at it again, trying to get all of us together?" A large man said.

"I'm guessing you are one of the other three musician's he mentioned?" Rosa asked.

"Yes, my name is Richard Paul Russo." The man sang with a melodious tone.

"So Mr Russo, will you meet up with Mr Derleth?" Rosa asked.

"I suppose I can, but good luck getting the other two to agree, every time we try, we can never seem to get into agreement and they always claim I am out of sync." Richard Paul Russo said, before heading to where Derleth was.

"Min." Minccino said, her ears perking up once more.

"I hear it too this time Minccino, it sounds like a guitar." Rosa said, as they followed the sound to see a man sitting on a bench playing the guitar, north of the bridge. "This is going to sound strange, but do you know someone by the name of August Derleth?" Rosa asked.

"Auggie, yeah I know him, how can I be of assistance?" The man asked casually.

"I was listening to his music and he said that he and three other musicians here in the village made beautiful music as a group." Rosa said.

"Yes, the two of us do make wonderful music. The other two however, one always seem to be messing up." The man said.

"What do you mean?" Rosa asked.

"Whenever all four of us play together, someone on vocals is singing off key or off rhythm." The man said. "And with Richard being a vocal percussionist, and Dean Koontz being a vocalist, it has to be one of them."

"So then why does Mr Derleth want all four of you to perform together?" Rosa asked.

"Because music is meant to be shared, not kept to one person." The man said. "My name is Robert Aickman by the way."

"I'm Rosa, and this is Minccino." Rosa said with a smile.

"Well then Rosa, I hope you can come to see all four of us perform." Robert said, before heading on his way to join the others.

"Wait, do you know where I can find Mr Koontz?" Rosa asked.

"I saw him underneath the bridge on this side not long ago." Robert said.

"Thank you." Rosa said, turning to head under the bridge.

Beneath the bridge

"Excuse me, are you Mr Koontz?" Rosa asked, noticing a man staring to the other side of the bridge.

"Ahh, apologies, yes I am, how may I help you?" The man asked.

"I'm here on behalf of Mr Derleth to gather the four musicians of the village together." Rosa said.

"Ahh, but I have figured out the problem that has been giving us an issue for so long." Mr Koontz commented.

"What do you mean?" Rosa asked.

"Just remain quiet, and listen." Mr Koontz said, allowing Rosa beneath the bridge, where she could hear what sounded like a young girl singing.

"Is that another person singing?" Rosa asked.

"it is, but every time I've gone over there to talk to them, the singing stops." Mr Koontz said.

"Well I can take a look at it, if you go and join the others." Rosa offered.

"I suppose it can't hurt, I wish you luck in finding them." Mr Koontz said.

"Come on Minccino." Rosa said, as they headed back towards the bridge.

As Rosa passed by the food truck again, she heard the chef call out. "Number 57, now serving number 57."

"Yeah, glad we didn't wait around this whole time." Rosa said, with a sigh as she and Minccino walked towards the underside of the bridge, hearing the singing become more prominent. "Hello, is someone in there?" Rosa asked, as the singing stopped. "Hey, it's alright, I know what it's like to get shy in front of others while performing." Rosa said.

"Me?" The voice said.

"You know, a while back I had such stage fright suddenly that for a while I quit performing altogether, but now I know that it was that I wasn't happy performing the way I was." Rosa admitted. "And now, I feel this tug to almost go back to performing, but I'm scared what my friends will say, with them knowing how I was now."

"Etta." The voice responded, as the door unlocked with a click.

"Are you sure?" Rosa asked.

"Me." The voice said, as Rosa walked in."Wow, you, you aren't a little girl, you're something else entirely, I, if it's okay I'd love to hear you sing."

"Etta." The voice said before they began to sing and dance for Rosa and Mincinno.

Later

"So this is what you were working on today." Ash asked, as he, Rosa, and Elliot all stood on the bridge, listening to the four musician's performing in harmony.

"Among other things." Rosa admitted, as she looked out onto the lake, seeing the Pokemon she'd met dancing above her reflection to the song, their long green hair fluttering back and forth.

Authors notes

Sorry about the no updates for two days. I am trying to keep on a consistent schedule, but this required a lot of work for me to get all the names, locations, and instrumentals of each correct. On top of that I had a death in the family recently that has caused me to lose some sleep and motivation. I will have another day in about a week where I won't be posting for their funeral just as a heads up. Also, do not worry, the Pokemon Rosa and Minccino encountered will be seen properly soon enough, this was just a bit of an introduction for them.
