"I didn't agree to this." Drayden said.
"I don't think this is part of the movie." Brycen commented.
"Can anyone hear me?" Ash asked, tapping his earpiece as Team Plasma's airship came into view. "We've got trouble."
Ash looked at the city in front of them, seeing the frozen streets.
"Alright Brycen, we're no longer playing right now, time for real." Drayden said, sending out his Haxorus.
"Right." Brycen said, breaking the cuffs he was in.
"Those, weren't those real?" Ash asked in confusion.
"They were." Drayden said.
"Oh Arceus I fought him physically." Ash said in shock.
"Now Beartic come out!" Brycen called out.
"Braviary!" Ash called out, hoping his flying type could still hear him.
"Bra!" Braviary exclaimed, coming in for a landing near Ash and Riolu.
Elsewhere in the city
"Rosa, Elliot, are you two still there?" Delia asked, as she, Mikey, Pikachu and Larvesta looked at an ice wall blocking their way.
"We're fine Mrs Ketchum, just hold still right there, we'll break our way through to you. Darmanitan use Flare Blitz!" Elliot called out.
"Now hold on you two, we can't let you two do that just yet." A member of the shadow triad said, as they landed with their Bisharp.
"Ninjas." Rosa said in shock.
"Yes, we are the second member of the shadow triad said, walking up with their Bisharp.
"Manitan!"
"Perior!"
Ash's two Pokemon with his friends stood in the way of the members of the shadow triad to protect the two trainers.
The four Bisharp, two from each member of the shadow triad ran at Serperior and Darmanitan, keeping Elliot and Rosa stuck with their backs against an icy wall. As Rosa noticed the Pokemon with long green hair getting angry at them.
"No, go find Ash." Rosa whispered.
"How, we are literally stuck between a wall and ninjas?!" Elliot questioned not knowing.
"Not you." Rosa muttered.
"Then who?!" Elliot exclaimed, as Serperior wrapped up two of the attacking Bisharp while Darmanitan slammed into the other two.
Back with Ash, Brycen, and Drayden
"This way!" Drayden said, turning a corner to see Colress standing in their path with a Magnezone and Klinklang.
"Ah ah ah." Colress said coldly. "We just want the boy, and we will leave."
"Not a chance." Brycen said. "Keep moving, I can handle this myself."
"Ah, a former gym leader disgraced from the league and moved onto making movies where he plays the villain. This will be a simple task for my brilliance. Magnezone, Klinklang use Flash Cannon." Colress responded.
"Beartic use Icicle Crash!" Brycen called out.
The large icy bear sent out a flurry of massive icicles from it's mouth, crashing into the two steel types and stopping their attacks.
"Now use Brick Break!"
"Magnezone use Zap Cannon!"
Back with Ash and Drayden
"We can't just leave him!" Ash argued.
"How about you tell me why they want you, and I'll assure you that Brycen can handle himself just fine." Drayden said angrily.
"What do you know about the legendary dragons, Zekrom, Reshiram, and Kyurem?" Ash asked.
"More than you could believe, why?" Drayden asked.
"I sort of bonded with Zekrom in it's stone form, but about a week ago they got the dark stone from me, and I'm guessing they've now realized they need me to awaken Zekrom so they attacked to get to me." Ash said in a single breath.
"Okay, new plan, we get you out of the city and into hiding." Drayden said.
"What, no, I'm not running away!" Ash argued. "We can fight them here!"
"And we will, but if it's you they want, we can't take that kind of risk." Drayden said sternly.
"My mom and friends are in trouble, I'm not leaving them!" Ash argued.
"And my city is in trouble!" Drayden argued back. "I understand you wanting to protect them and I will, but getting you away from here has to be the priority!"
"Wonderful sentiment Mr Mayor, unfortunately I will be stopping the two of you right here." Ghetsis said, blocking the path with his Hydreigon.
"Other way!" Drayden said, turning to be face to face with an Eelectross.
"Then we fight our way out. Riolu use Aura Sphere! Braviary use Super Power!"
"Haxorus use Dragon Dance!"
"Eelektross use Flamethrower. Hydreigon use Dragon Rush."
Riolu fired his aura sphere at Eelektross, pushing against the flames as Braviary flitted about, trying his best to dodge Hydreigon's rushing blows.
"Haxorus use Shadow Claw!"
Haxorus rushed towards Hydreigon, striking then away from Braviary.
"Riolu use Blaze Kick! Braviary use Crush Claw!"
Braviary flew at Eelektross, grabbing the large eel in his talons, digging them in and dragging the electric type across the ground as Riolu struck Hydreigon with his leg engulfed in flames.
"Eelektross use Crunch. Hydreigon use Dragon Rush!"
Eelektross bit down on Braviary, taking lead of their scuffle as Hydreigon slammed down on both Haxorus and Riolu.
Back with Brycen
"Beartic use Brick Break!"
"Klinklang use Gear Grind. Magnezone use Tri Attack." Colress called out with a calm tone.
"Wait, you, you aren't here to beat me, you're here as a distraction! Who are you after?!" Brycen demanded rushing forward, and grabbing Colress by his collar.
"I already told you, we're here for the boy." Colress commented.
Back with Rosa and Elliot
"Alright, Darmanitan use Heat Crash!" Rosa said, pointing at the wall behind them. "Mrs Ketchum, stand back!"
"Serperior keep them contained with Leaf Storm!" Elliot said, as a powerful leaf storm entrapped the four Bisharp of the two members of the Shadow Triad.
"Okay, let's move!" Elliot said, turning to see Pikachu, Larvesta, and Mimey all knocked out.
"Oh no." Rosa said, as the Team Plasma ship came to life with a large screen, showing the final member of the Shadow Triad holding a bound Delia.
"MOM!" Ash shouted, turning to Ghetsis, his eyes glowing a bright yellow with electricity coming from his hands. "Let her go!" Ash shouted in anger.
"Careful, they're waiting for my say to stop, if you attack me, your dear mother will pay the consequences." Ghetsis said tauntingly.
"Let. Her. Go." Ash said angrily.
"I will not, but I will accept a trade." Ghetsis said.
"We don't deal with terrorists." Drayden said.
"I wouldn't have had to do this if young Ashton was just a bit more compliant." Ghetsis commented. "I and my troops will leave Opelucid City and all of it's inhabitants unharmed, we simply require one Ketchum, wether it be her or him, that's his decision."
"Let her go Ghetsis." Ash said. "Bring her to me."
"Glad you finally are thinking straight child." Ghetsis said, snapping his fingers as the Shadow Triad member reappeared with Delia.
"Ash, what's going on?" Delia asked.
"Mom, you need to go with Drayden for right now, he'll explain everything." Ash said.
"Ash, you can't, you promised you'd come home!" Delia argued.
"I have to do this mom, they attacked because of me, they took you because of me, and I won't let anyone hurt you, ever." Ash said, walking over to Ghetsis. "I'm going willingly, no need to tie me up."
"You will have a cell until your time to awaken Zekrom comes." Ghetsis said, as another Shadow Triad member appeared. "Take the boy, and that Riolu, we know they could trace him with that Pokemon given the opportunity."
The Shadow Triad members nodded, grabbing Ash and Riolu before teleporting back to the ship.
"ASH!" Delia cried out, as she watched her son get taken away as Team Plasma, to their word, left the city.
"We'll find him Mrs Ketchum, I promise." Drayden said watching the direction it left in.
