Chapter 10

Fariha could not believe her luck. Lord Potter had convinced the Great Albus Dumbledore to come out of retirement and tutor her. After throwing him unceremoniously out of the castle, he had conveyed his deepest apologies and offered him a place at the Marauder's Den with two eager souls for assistance, Scrappy and Birdsong. They would wash his clothes, iron his robes, fold his napkins and take care of his sister's portrait. One of them was a high elf, the other a sleazy poltergeist. Sleazy poltergeists were always the best at finding the best lemon drops. Her master would have a happy life here, and she would learn ALCHEMY!!!! She brushed her teeth and gazed out of the Marauder's Den.

A thin mist hung in the air, and two souls were seen struggling in the distance. They both had silvery white blonde hair.

Remus Lupin sipped on some cold lemonade as he read a book left by the illustrious founder of Hogwarts, Salazar Slytherin. It was on the mind magicks, and it intrigued him with its fancy theories and deep insights. Such a mind gone to waste!

He was just contemplating that fact when there was a commotion in the doorway, and another man totally gone to waste was brought in - Lucius Malfoy. He had been blessed with so much - money, influence, power, everything. Yet he had thrown it away to oppose the Dark Lord.

"I came to join the Dark Lord, not oppose him!" he screeched like a peacock, apparently reading his thoughts.

Remus laughed uproariously, then pressed a cold mind-weakening handcuff on his wand hand.

"Lead him to the war room, Nargles and Newt!" The two guards nodded enthusiastically.

Hermione Granger had been dubbed the codename 'Lovey'. She certainly felt a bit of love towards Lord Potter at that moment. "Imperius!" she cried, levelling her wand at Lucius Malfoy.

Her new toy would bring the Ministry to its knees, and she would climb to the position of Minister for Magic. Her old boss would bend his knee before her, and she would call him a...

No, she stopped herself. She would be kind. She wouldn't call him an idiot, certainly not a dunderhead. She would sick Micky and Ricky on him.

She would become the greatest Minister for Magic ever.
