Alice Halder felt another bout of extreme love overcome her mind for a second, before it faded away to contented bliss. She sighed, dodging another protruding root. They had undone the botched ritual, but it still left some remnants. Like a live horcrux, she could feel intense emotions from the couple. The three or four minutes she had spent in their minds had increased her knowledge millionfold. Now she knew all about horcruxes and possessions and parseltongue and unaided flying, all courtesy of Lord Potter. And she knew all about Ron Weasley, courtesy of Ginny Potter.

She sighed again, picturing his dreamy smile. It was the reason she was following them now.

Ahead of her, the power couple had stopped, and had started pitching a tent. She cleared her throat awkwardly.

"Ah, sorry, Lord Potter, but may I impose upon you for a second?"

Both turned in eerie synchronicity. "But of course, Miss Halder!" Lord Potter said.

She dipped her head and apologised, "It was wrong of me to botch the ritual. For that, you have my deepest apologies. I know how sacred a Ritual of Unity can be, but in my zealous thirst for revenge, I let my common sense go."

Both waved away her apologies, smiling indulgently. "Go on, Alice. What do you want?"

"I want to go with you."

Ron Weasley knew no better girl than Hermione Granger. But she would not give him the time of the day. He rubbed his head in frustration. His mother kept showing him other girls, but none of them interested him. He sighed again.

"Rooooooon!" a dreamy voice sounded outside his room. The resident loony, Luna was standing outside, peering at him. "Ginny's brought a girl for you!"

"Whaa-" he blinked. Ginny? Ginny had brought a girl for him. "Where is she?" he asked.

"Just back from Transylvania. With a vampire princess to boot! Remember to treat her well," she said, retreating with soft steps.

He picked up his wand and gave it a swish. His robes spruced themselves a bit, but his mouth refused to freshen. "Argh!" he said, casting the spell again. This time, he managed to do it right, and he stood up, stretching his limbs.

Outside, a gleaming Pigwidgeon stood in the sun, purring happily. And a tiny vampire princess gazed around at the Burrow, before fixing her eyes on Ron's room.

"Let's go, Lady Potter!" she said, smiling. Ron's freckled face showed through the window, and he looked a bit frightened.

Mrs. Weasley gave a shout when she caught sight of Lord Potter. "Harry! You've returned, young man! Come, come, you're just in time for lunch!"

Harry hugged her briefly, before waving towards Luna. "Hi Luna! Have you finished the You-Know-What?"

"Yes, milord!" she said, beaming from ear to ear. Harry high-fived her, before taking a chair in the dining room and leaning back contentedly.

"Pigwidgeon is a beast, mom!" Ginny said. "I'll have to meet Fariha some day. She sounds like a fantastic person. From flying carpets to flying acromantulas! I can only imagine what she will cook up after three or four months with Professor Dumbledore!"

Mrs. Weasley looked dubiously at the muggle craft, before shaking her head and muttering, "I don't like the look of those pointy things, my dear. They look a bit too much like weapons."

"They are weapons!" Alice piped up, ignoring the shushing gestures from Lady Potter. "And they have deadly accuracy too!"

Mrs. Weasley tutted. "Your Witch-at-Arms is a bit too bloodthirsty, Harry dear!" she said.

"I can't argue with that, Mum," he said, before poking Ron in the ribs. "Say Hi, Ron!"

Ron jumped, before holding his hand out and croaking in a feeble voice, "Eh, hi, Alice!"

Alice smiled at him, before bypassing his hand and hugging him straight in the middle.

"I want to marry you, Ron!"
