Slugbug quickly brought Lancex to his new realm. Lancex still had one from his previous realm, ryu. Slugbug allowed Ryu to remain as Bug knew Lancex would need him. Once Bug was done, Lancex was left in a weird place in a very strange land. True, there was lots of technology around him, but it wasn't what he was used to. To protect Lancex, Ryu made him like an earth chameleon, where as Lancex moved around, his metallic skin would take on whatever coloration was near him so the bot could blend in. Ryu hoped he wouldn't have to do this for long, but for now, it was the best option.

With all hell breaking loose, Optimus and his repair bot crew emerged not only from their hibernation but also from their now underwater base after obtaining vehicle modes from their current planet. They were met with a crazy scene, including some huge blob that seemed to be attacking the smaller beings on this weird planet. Unseen by all, there was a bot hiding in plain sight not counting the ones who had emerged from the water..
As the unseen bot watched, Optimus and his crew fight the enormous blob, things seemed to happen. A happy human was caught but released, the unfamiliar bots attempted to save her only to wind up inside the blob. It didn't look good, especially when the ninja bot became completely encapsulated by the mysterious blob. The humans, shocked by seeing the huge bots, weren't much help either. And feeling an urge deep inside, the mysterious presence who had remained hidden until now, suddenly appeared as if out of thin air.
The Autobots didn't notice the bot at first, as they were too concerned for their comrade. But soon enough, the three bots soon spotted the strange bot that ahead appeared out of seemingly nowhere. The mysterious bot managed to destroy the big mass with his special sword and an utterance the bots seemed to miss while this bot rescued the ninja bot. But once that was completed, the bot who had appeared out of nowhere, instantly vanished right before their optics. The humans were happy, but the remaining Autobots were confused but knew Prowl needed help, and so they headed off. Optimus had to force himself, to focus, for Prowl's sake. But the mystery bot would be a task soon enough.
