Even though Lancex and Ratchet were frustrated that Lockdown had gotten away with the young Prime, they knew they needed to get their act together before they could pursue them. And so Lancex helped Ratchet rouse Bumblebee, Prowl, and Bulkhead. Once up and moving, the three greeted Ratchet and were stunned that Lancex, the mystery bot, was there. While helping the others up, Lancex had a question for Ratchet, "judging by you actions and words, you have met that vile bot before. Tell us what you know about him" Lancex told Ratchet.
Ratchet shot a look at the you mystery bot, but realized it didn't faze the bot nor did it help get the Prime back. "His name is Lockdown. His works as a mercenary, mostly for the cons. They pay him handsomely, but part of the deal is that he is allowed to steal weaponry of his choice from bots. And the cons allow him to do so. What everyone was knocked out by was my stolen EMP generator. He stole it off me long, long ago…" ratchet faded, rubbing the spot it belonged and also thinking of the first bot who had been nearly destroyed by lockdown thanks to the generator. Lancex nodded, realizing that they had a lot work to do. Ratchet came out of his memory long enough to ask Prowl for a map of the docks area and Prowl provided it.
"So how we gonna find them?" Bee asked, a bit loudly.
"First off by you keeping quiet" Ratchet sternly but quietly barked. Bee shut up in a flash.
"This seems new" Prowl pointed out and Ratchet agreed, as well as agreed it didn't look manmade. "Then to there we shall go." All the others change their mode to head out, though Ratchet noticed Lancex hadn't changed but Lancex indicated he had his own method and was soon gone. Ratchet sighed and hoped that they could pull this off. They had to, or things were only going to get worse.
Ratchet and the three others soon arrived at the unusual and new place. They were just wondering where Lancex was when the bot suddenly appeared. If Bee hadn't already been warned to be quiet he would have made a comment, but thankfully he kept his mouth shut. Lancex and Ratchet were on high alert as was Prowl while Bulkhead and Bee just kind of stood around stupidly as usual. Bee tried to just head in but Lancex grabbed the bot. Lancex knew this was too easy, way too easy. And when laser fire broke out, Ratchet and Lancex's fears were confirmed – the base was an easy find but it was Bobby trapped. That and this may only be a decoy. There was only one way to tell and no one was looking forward to that.
