And while all the Dinobots and Autobots are stunned by the revelation, Optimus and Ratchet fell more into the disbelief camp than the others. "Forgive my bluntness, but there is no way you can be from another dimension" Ratchet replied.
Lancex looked to the medic, a bit hurt. Optimus noticed. "Forgive us, Lancex. I understand that you feel strongly about this, however, we have always been taught other dimensions don't exist. Is there anyway you could provide us with evidence that our elders were wrong in teaching us that other dimensions don't exist?" Optimus asked, softening the disbelief blow a bit. Lancex realized it was out of ignorance and not otherwise that they had trouble believing him.
Lancex still sighed, as it hurt that they couldn't just take his word for it, but wanting to show up their ignorance, he pulled out some very special and important photos that he always carried with him. He pulled out one in particular and laid it out in front of the others. They looked at it and saw Lancex surrounded by five humans that they had never seen before. All six in the photo seemed happy. "Who are they?" Bulkhead asked carefully.
Lancex asked, pointing to each person as he named them, "Jack, Ash, Jed, Neon, and Sophia."
"So what is your relationship with these five humans?" Ratchet asked carefully, not wanting to upset Lancex.
"Well, when I used to be a hunter In my universe, I had a time where I completely lost memory of who I was and all I was and only had my sword, Ryu. And one time when Jack was out completing a job of sorts, he found me, wandering and lost. He brought me back to the others and all five taught me many things, including emotions and more about who I was and my skills and abilities. Since then, they've become my family, much like you Autobots are a team or you Dinobots are a group" Lancex explained. "Jack is like a protective older brother, Neon and Sophia are like sisters, and Jed and Ash are like….fun uncles, I guess."
All the Autobots and Dinobots nod, though Optimus and Grimlock wondered if Lancex was looking for a mate as he came off as a bit lonely. "If you don't mind my asking…why aren't they here with you?" Bee asked, knowing he would never want to be totally removed from his team.
Lancex looked at the bot. "We were fighting a powerful enemy. A powerful emperor mage known as Matures, and as we were fighting it, I was struck down and suffered fatal damage because I made a careless mistake" Lancex answered.
"If that is true, how are you still here?" Ratchet interjected, still suspicious of this whole thing.
"A powerful being revived me, healed the damage I had suffered and then sent me here" Lancex replied, not liking how Ratchet still was not quite trusting of the bot, but in a sense Lancex could understand, it did sound unbelievable even though it was true.
"So…what were you doing before we found you?" Bee asked.
"Someone took care of me. I was here about 6 years before I heard that you guys are in trouble…you pretty much know the rest" Lancex answered.
"I believe him" Prowl stated, earning a stare from the others. "You forget, I am programmed to decipher when someone is lying…he shows no signs of lying." Lancex then looked to the others as if to say, "and what about all of you?"
