The next morning, Lancex found himself startled out of recharge. Feeling stiff, he attempted to stretch his limbs but was unable to move in the way he wished, as he felt extremely weighed down. This didn't make sense, or so the bot initially thought. He fully onlined his optics and looked around him and was shocked. On one side of him was Optimus, snuggling close but loosely had an arm over Lancex's form. Lancex wasn't sure what to think as when he looked to the other side, there was the huge Dinobit Grimlock, clutching Lancex tight light an earth teddy bear. Lancex didn't have the energy to break loose of the grip, even as he tried, and soon, he fell back into recharge snuggled between the two bigger bots.
What seemed like several hours later but was likely only an hour or two later, Optimus and Grimlock roused from their recharge. Both were surprised that Lancex was still there and asleep but both glared at each other when they realized what had occurred. Then, ignoring the presence of Optimus, Grimlock leaned in and planted a hot kiss on Lancex's lips, earning a moan from the sleeping bot. Grimlock then flashed a toothy grin at the Prime, seemingly daring the bot to do "beat that." Not to be outdone, Optimus soon planted a hot kiss on Lancex's lips, and while this one had passion, it also had a gentleness about it that the dinobot lacked. Lancex moaned at this stolen kiss as well.
Grimlock glared at the Prime. According to Grimlock, no one but no one was going to take what he claimed as his and now, that included Lancex. Optimus would have rolled his optics at that if he could have. Grimlock was going to spout off to the Prime, but Optimus grabbed the bot by his tail and drug the big lug out of the room, leaving Lancex alone and giving him a chance to wake on his own.
Meanwhile, unknown to Optimus and Grimlock, another being had been watching them. Ryu couldn't leave the sword at the moment but he was well aware of what the two bots seemed to be doing, and Ryu didn't like it. And while he didn't care for he red and blue bot, he liked the arrogant dinobot even less. At least the red and blue bot had respect for Lancex, the same couldn't yet be said for the dinobot. For now, though, Ryu would bide his time.
