Optimus wasn't pleased with the news and sighed before getting a bright idea and asked Lancex if he would be willing to help the rest of the Autobots. Lancex stood up and agreed quickly as it was as much his fault as the others while Grimlock stood up and offered to help as well. Grimlock feared that Optimus was using this "emergency" from someone named Fanzone as a way to get to know Lancex better without Grimlock around and possibly steal the bot's spark. Optimus and Ratchet were stunned while Lancex replied that it wasn't a good idea as the dinobot might hurt humans as well as make the mess worse. Grimlock wasn't pleased to hear that and was in fact quite angry, but Lancex had a valid point.
"Me Grimlock and other dinobots stay behind to help, but me Grimlock want one thing first" Grimlock uttered in the way only he could.
"And what is that?" Lancex asked, ignorant of Grimlock's intention. Optimus was not happy as he had a feeling what was going to happen. And it did yet it didn't – Grimlock walked up to Lancex and planted a heated kiss on the bot. And while Ratchet sighed and Optimsu just glared, Lancex moaned and blushed as the kiss felt so right and the fact that the other two Autobots were watching this didn't seem to bother Grimlock or Lancex in the least. And seemingly removed from things, Ratchet easily picked up the sense that Optimus was jealous and possessive proving indeed that he felt drawn to Lancex. Ratchet silently sighed, he would have to tease Optimus but later. First, he would have to explain things to Grimlock and co about the nuts and bolts of things.
After what felt like forever but really was only maybe a couple minutes at most, Grimlock finally ended the kiss. And while and very pleased Grimlock was licking his lips and enjoying the taste, Optimus quickly asked Ratchet to watch over the dinobots before Optimus grabbed the dazed Lancex and began to head out to clean up the mess that had been made. Ratchet would use this opportunity mostly wisely to teach the dinobots about things, even though Ratchet knew it would annoy Optimus. Grimlock, not pleased about how Optimus had dragged Lancex off, decided that he would figure thing whole thing out while Optimus and the others were out and busy since he wasn't allowed to help out with the mess.
