After what felt like a few seconds it seemed, the Autobots rolled up onto the site where the battle had taken place. It looked like a disaster and the Autobots felt a bit bad now that they had seen what the battle had done. But not ones to sit back and do nothing, Lancex, who had been riding on Optimus' vehicle form, jumped off and then Optimus and the other three Autobots transformed before heading straight into taking care of the mess they had helped cause.
They were greeted by to less than pleased citizens of Detroit – Captain Fanzone and Sari. Sari was less than pleased as she had been asked to help with the mess while the Captain was almost pissed off about how much of his city had been destroyed by this battle. Optimus looked around as Fanzone explained just how devastating this was to the city and how the only way the Autobots could make it up to the citizens was to clean up the mess they made.
But knowing that it was the right thing to do, Optimus encouraged the others to help rebuild what they and the cons had destroyed. Bee groaned as he headed out with Prowl and Bulkhead to one part of the destruction. Optimus was pleased to note that but then noticed Lancex, who was using his sword to cut metal and rocks while not using the fire feature. Optimus was confused and went to speak with Lancex, who stopped his work at the arrival of Optimus. Optimus asked about the sword and Ryu and the fire feature. Lancex explained that while the fire may make things easier, it would bring more destruction than good. Optimus nodded and then headed back to his area to clean, his mind thinking of how he could win over Lancex as they cleaned.
Meanwhile, back on the base, Ratchet had has hands more than full with the three rough, tough, and rude dinobots. Ratchet hadn't wanted to do this, but he felt for the safety of the base, and especially Lancex and Optimus, this needed to be done. "Why you bring us dinobots here?" Grimlock demanded to know.
"You want to mate, don't you?" Ratchet asked. And after explaining in simple terms what that meant, the dinobots nodded. "Okay, then you need all the information you can possibly get into your processors. I have a program here that explains things." Ratchet then hit play on the program. He just hoped that this would work.
