After a bit of banging on the console and few other minor tricks, the programming that Ratchet had sought was coming to life on the screen. The Dinobots paid as close attention as their primative processors allowed them to. "Me Grimlock demand to know why me feel drawn to Lancex and as more than a friend."
"I was going to explain that, but the programming is now up and working. Please watch and pay close attention" Ratchet said to the three as they sat in front of the screen in their bot modes.
(Program playing, titled Transformers: the nuts and bots)
"All right, now to discuss some very basic yet important things for bots like you to know" the video started. "In this particular video, we discuss dominant and submissive bots. Now grant you, there can be the rare bot that can work both side, but they are extremely few and far between, so we will just focus on dominant bots and subimissive bots. Are we ready?" The programming seemed to asked. Not knowing what else to do, the dinobots nod.
(A change in scenery in the program) "Now first we will discuss Dominant bots. Dominant bots are generally scene as stronger 1 of the 2 and their biggest jobs include protecting the submissive bot, loving the submissive bot, and generally giving anything to keep their submissive mate happy and to keep them safe. Dominant bots come in two types – the Strong, domineering type and the Loving Dominant type. These two types don't generally get along, but can with a very rare but extremely strong submissive who requires more than one mate, which again we won't talk about as it is too rare." The Dinobots nodded, seeming to understand, but Ratchet would have to figure that out at the end if they really did understand.
(Another change of scenery in the program) "Now, Submissive bots are… well generally they are those who have received the ability to carry sparklings. Their emotions only really show up during their heat with the bot they are destined to bond to. They also will only be able to become sparked while in heat, and while in heat are extremely vulnerable. But outside of having mates, Submissive bots are stronger than they appear to keep other bots not meant to be their mate away from them. And while in heat, they send out certain signals to their mates or pleasure themselves to get through it. A mate means a life partner to raise a family with as they will unite their sparks, but that's another video" the tape stated before ending.
Ratchet turned off the programming and turned to the dinobots. The dinobots appears to be paying full attention to what they had seen. "So now do you get it?" Ratchet asked, hoping they had.
"Me no understand. Too many big words" Grimlock shot off.
Ratchet sighed. "Basically a dominant takes a submissive and takes care of that bot and everything they need, fragging and otherwise" Ratchet tried to explain in more basic terms. Only then did the three fully seem to understand. More hungry than interested in fragging, Snarl and Swoop headed off for food. That left only Grimlock, who heard Ratchet sigh but thought little of it.
Grimlock left, thinking of just how he could claim Lancex, and completely unaware Ratceht had feeling that he knew exactly what the T-Rex wanted and was attempting to plan. The medic knew that this would make things a challenge for Optimus as well as Lancex, but with what Ratchet seemed to know, he wasn't too worried as he figured those two could handle the dinobot. The only thought Ratchet thought was how soon he could tease Optimus.
And as for Grimlock, his primative mind was focused on one thing – fragging Lancex till the bot couldn't walk anymore. And since his dinobot form was already so turned on from what he was already thinking of, he rubbed his exposed spike a bit before crashing onto what passed for his berth. And he drifted off to a peaceful sleep, seemingly not caring about anything else but getting Lancex – after he rested of course.
