Childhood Friends
This will pretty much be my first Halloween story, based of a good old roleplay I did with a friend. It will be based bits from John Carpenter and Rob Zombie.
A shy, intelligent, pretty girl moves into Haddonfield, across the street from 45 Lampkin Lane and her once quiet life changes forever the moment she meets Michael Myers.
The first few chapters will be about their childhood, how they meet ect.
This story may contain dark, adult themes, some violence and sexual themes...
Hoping the chapters will get longer as the story goes, feel free to leave reviews whenever you like and hope you enjoy.
Chapter One
In a small quiet town called Haddonfield with the year of 1967, the years where the town was filled in peace and friendly era, the times where the peace didn't know that the future was soon to be interrupted and plunged deep into darkness, horror and a world filled with nightmares.
It was in the middle of summertime within the year 1967, a small, young, new family, some fresh blood was to be moving into Haddonfield and into the sold house of Lampkin Lane across the street from number 45, a young mother and a very young daughter. Meet the Knight family, Rosa and Layla Knight.
A moving truck was parked outside number 51 with a small black mercedes parked up on the driveway. A small girl who looked about nearly five years old stepped out of the car and into the sunny parts of her new home. Shoulder length, wavy black hair sat and hung just on top of them and the strands swayed a little as she looked around and taking in her new surroundings. Clutching tightly onto a soft, cuddly teddy bear that she kept with her since she was baby and always took it anywhere new with her to help her keep the nerves in control.
Taking further steps forwards from the car, continuing to inspect her new home, all doing so and completely unaware that a set of young black eyes staring right at her from across the street. A small boy who appeared to look around the same age as Layla only with darkish blonde hair, a little bit taller than her, who was almost a year older than her. Michael Myers continue to watch the young girl before him, tilting his head to one side with a look of curious, calculating, observing looks all rolling into one behind the black orbs of his.
"Come on sweetheart, let's see what your new bedroom looks like." The voice of her mother, Rosa soon brought Layla back to reality and gave her Mom a small smile, feeling a little bit more excited to seeing what her new room was going to be like and follows her Mom into their new home.
The first night in her new home felt strange for Layla, however it did feel nice to actually having all of this space for just the two of them, just her and her mother, nothing could've been any better. She couldn't sleep. Layla lays in bed, her cozy, warm fury blankets laid on the top of the quilt, making her small body warm.
Laying there, Layla couldn't help but to wonder of what her new school would be like, even though she is incredibly shy and nervous when meeting new people, she hoped that one day day soon she was to make a new friend that she's never had before.
Morning soon came the day after, Layla had found out at breakfast that today was the day when she'd get to go to school and hopefully make some new friends.
"Are you ready sweetheart!?" Her mother's voice calls up from the stairs as Layla placed a thin cardigan over her t-shirt and straightening up the last adjustments to her hair, smiling a little towards her reflection in the mirror and sat her teddy down on the end of the bed, knowing it's best to leave him there so she wouldn't loose him.
"I'm coming Mommy." Layla calls back as she began to descend the stairs, meeting her mother at the bottom who held up her school bag out for her.
"Your lunch is in your bag okay honey, got everything?" Rosa asked her daughter in the sweetest voice as she helped zip up Layla's coat.
" I have Mommy." Giving one another a small hug before exiting their home and entering their mercedes, Rosa pulling out of the driveway and began their journey towards Layla's new school, unaware that today was going to change Layla's childhood forever.
