Summary: They say you only see in color when you find your soul mate, so why is it that Luz only sees certain colors after she runs into several different people?

Luz woke up and looked around the closet that she called her room. She was currently in the demon realm. Yeah, it's about what you'd expect. She is living with a wild witch named Eda, the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles. As to why she's here... well, let's just say she doesn't have a reason to go home anymore, not since... the accident.

"Hey, Kid, you awake? It's almost time for school." Eda asked.

"Yeah, I'm up." Luz said, "Just give me a minute, I have to decide what shade of gray I'm going to wear."

"Hey, don't worry about it, you'll find your soulmate eventually." Eda said.

That's right, she lives in a world where soulmates exist and until you meet them, you are only capable of seeing shades of whites, grays, and blacks. Luz hasn't found hers yet, so she can only see through the eyes of a 1950's movie. She's told her uniform is colored, but some days she doesn't believe that. She got her uniform on and Eda handed her an orange... she wasn't too sure if Eda was just trying to piss her off her not with that. Luz ate the orange and got onto Eda's staff. Eda flew her to school, hearing about a new student in the potion track. Apparently she transferred from Glandus, and since Luz knows about how they act at that school, she was probably going to push her weight around and gain dominance. Luz just walked to her locker, hoping to ignore her... oh boy that didn't work. Turns out, her locker is right next to Luz's.

"Oh, so you're the human I've heard so much about." The girl said, "I'm Boscha, it's... nice to meet you?"

Boscha sounded like she was trying to be nice, but Luz was more focused on something else... she saw... colors. Not many colors, just various versions of yellows and pinks, but it was more than she did that morning.

"Oh my god." Luz said.

"Uh... human, you good?" Boscha asked.

"Y-y-yeah, it's... just a human thing I'm going through." Luz said, "If you want to talk about it later, I help my friend Gus with his after school club."

"Hm, maybe I'll think about it." Boscha said, "See you later, Human."

Boscha walked off and Luz was amazed at the new colors she just discovered, until she realized... why was it only two colors? If Boscha was her soulmate, why didn't she get the full color wheel?

Okay, so, a little more background information, Luz has only been at the school for about three days, so she hasn't had classes with her other soulmates yet, so she hasn't gotten the full color wheel. Also, it's a human thing, so Boscha and her other soulmates already see in color. Follow, Favorite, and Review for more.
