Chapter 18: Hide and Seek

Hide and Seek, Angel Island, Sark Dimension

Sonic and Amelia appeared at Angel Island, but the whole surrounding area was lit on fire.

"Where are we?" Sonic asked.

"You're on my Angel Island." Sark said from afar. "We're going to play my favorite game, Hide and Seek."

"Cool. Who's doing what?" Sonic asked.

"You hide and I count. Make sure you hide well. You don't want me catching you, I promise you that. Just ask my Tails." Sark explained.

"Sounds fun." Sonic grinned.

"Sonic, are you insane? This is one of his most famous traps." Amelia reminded him.

"I know, but I have an idea." Sonic whispered to her.

"I hope you know what you're doing."

"Trust me." Sonic winked. "He likes to pounce out in that field, doesn't he?"

"Yes."

"So why don't we counter?"

Sonic grabbed Amelia and zoomed into the clearing. Sark then appeared right behind them.

"Found you!" He yelled, claws out, ready to kill.

"Sonic, he's on your tail!" Amelia screamed.

"Perfect!"

Sonic jumped, threw Amelia in the air, and stomped Sark's head into the ground all in one sequence. He then caught the falling hedgehog demon.

"What the actual FUCK?" Amelia boomed.

"I told you to trust me. Let's go while Sark is down."

Sonic took off toward the next area.
