Lincoln was in Hell and he didn't mean it metaphorically, theoritically, poetically or any other fancy way... He was in literal Hell straight up.
"Gee thanks for the reminder..." Luna grunted as the Louds shared a groan upon hearing where exactly Lincoln had been all this time.
"Sorry but it's how Dad wrote it..." Gabriel said apologetically before continuing to read.
It was kind of scary to think about; he thought that summoning a king of a realm of darkness would be cool but it turned out that the ritual was to summon the king of Hell.
"Thought that the king of Hell would be more threatening..." Lynn Jr said and suddenly the Hell residents then stared at her.
"I could show you why my subjects fear me if you'd like..." Lucifer warned as Charlie motioned for her dad to drop it.
Which was in Great Grandmother Harriet's possession and how long did they have a book that could summon the king of Hell itself in the attic? Was it there this whole time?
"To think that a dark book capable of summoning the forces of Hell had been in our house this entire time..." Lori muttered as the Louds shivered and Lucy even frowned; not even able to be excited about this.
Still Charlie and Vaggie were actually welcoming to him and for being the daughter of the king of Hell; Charlie was very nice and unlike what he could ever have expected.
Lincoln and Charlie shared a smile.
"At least you were being looked after while down there..." Rita then admitted couldn't wait for them to get out of there and be able to take Lincoln home with them.
Plus the hotel room wasn't too bad and the bed was nice. He just relaxed trying not to think about what had happened there.
He wished he had his phone or his comics to entertain himself but he put his comics down when he was helping Lucy and he must have dropped his phone when he fell into the pentagram.
"Wished he did... We could have communicated and we would have a better shot of rescuing him..." Lana muttered to her twin.
Lincoln didn't know how much time had passed but then the door opened and Charlie and Vaggie then came in with Belphegor; "Here he is Aunt Belle..." Charlie told Belphegor before flashing Lincoln a smile as Belphegor brought in a bag. "Lincoln... This is Belphegor the Sin of Sloth... She runs one of the Rings of Hell and has the most medical knowledge of anyone in Hell." Charlie explained as Belphegor walked to the side of the bed as Lincoln thought that she didn't' look bad for a ruler of a ring of hell.
"You allowed someone so lazy to run healthcare in your realm?" Lynn Sr asked Lucifer accusingly as he got a look in return.
"Hey; she's the smartest of us Sins and an expert in her field... She may be a lazy bitch but she always helps out when we need her..." Lucifer retorted.
"You're the Lincoln that Charlie told me about; let me see what ails you..." Belphegor then said bringing out from one of her bags some sort of demonic looking machine that Lincoln thought looked like a gothic X-ray machine. Belphegor scanned him with it and used a stethoscope. Some minutes went by with Charlie and Vaggie watching.
"Now I imagining some sort of demonic horror film..." Luan muttered as the Louds didn't want to think about what the machine looked like; except for Lucy who was mildly interested.
Some results came out and Belphegor studied them; "This is... Wow..." Belphegor then muttered reading the results that had them worried.
"What's not... A good sign..." Lola said as concern went up into the Louds.
"What exactly happened to you Lincoln..." Lucy asked Lincoln with guilt in her voice as Lincoln was silent; not looking forward to their reaction...
"Okay... Lincoln... Can you explain what happened on your end? Get to the relevant stuff quickly as I tend to zone out of long stories." Belphegor asked as Lincoln coughed.
Lucifer and Lilith both scoffed out loud.
"Long stories... You often zone after after stories barely started..." Lucifer remarked.
"I was helping my sister Lucy and her friends with a ritual meant to summon the king of the realm of darkness. During it another of my sisters called and my trouser leg got caught on fire by one of the candles... I tripped into the pentagram thing..." Lincoln explained as they took this in and Belphegor looked at her results.
"That explains this... It seemed that you being there interfered with the ritual summoning Charlie and instead... Some of her energy got transferred to you and from what Charlie... Plus Vaggie's as well since she got in the way to try and help her..." Belphegor then explained as they took this in.
"So you got powers from her... That's kind of cool... We already figured that out anyway..." Lynn Jr then said as Lincoln and his Hell parents frowned bracing themselves.
"So how do we get it out?" Lincoln asked as Belphegor shook her head.
"Want me to remove your kidney, one of your lungs and half of both of your heart and brain while I am at it?" Belphegor asked as they were taken aback by this.
The Louds were creeped out and Angel Dust, Sibella and Husk gave looks at this.
"Didn't mean to scare you but... There is nothing really to fix this... The botched ritual... It changed half of your soul... You're still half human but what happened earlier and the transformation... It showed your new half demonic and angelic half..." Belphegor then said explained as they took this in.
The Louds took this in with wide open mouths.
"What?" Lynn Sr and Rita asked at once alarmed.
"Yeah... Like this forever..." Lincoln said as Lucy then stood up.
"Unacceptable... I can fix this myself..." Lisa declared as Lucifer and Lilith shook their heads while Angel Dust laughed mockingly.
"What with your toy doctor kit?" Angel Dust asked as Lisa glared at his direction.
"Sorry kid but it doesn't matter how smart by human standards you are... If Belle said that it's permanent then there's nothing that can be done..." Lucifer then said.
"Did he just call us dumb?" Leni asked as Lynn Sr then faced Sera and Emily.
"Aren't you angels from Heaven?" Rita asked hopefully but they shook their heads.
"I have seen the reports myself and sorry but we are unable to put Lincoln as he was before ourselves." Sera then said as Emily looked apologetic as Lucy whispered to herself asking what she had done.
"I am going to be able to do that forever? What do I tell my family when I get home?" Lincoln screamed as Belphegor then gave a sigh.
"You will have plenty of time to think about that as... You will need to train your new demonic and magic powers... Get it all under control and until then... Not safe for you to go to Earth..." Belphegor then stated as their eyes widened.
"I have been practicing and getting the hang of my powers..." Lincoln said trying to comfort his family who were still taking this in with everyone else giving them looks of sympathy and or pity.
"WHAT? How long will that take?" Lincoln asked screaming as Belphegor shrugged.
"How many years did it take Lucifer to teach you how to use your powers Charlie? A couple of decades or something?" Belphegor asked as Lincoln was freaking out.
"That's the graceful tact that you are known for Belle..." Lilith muttered sarcastically.
"But my parents... My sisters... My Friends... What do I tell them?" Lincoln asked as Charlie ran to embrace him to try and calm him down as Vaggie just looked in sympathy.
Lincoln and the Louds shared a sad look as the looks towards them continued.
"We will help you get through this Lincoln... Don't worry... You can have this room we will make you feel welcome..." Charlie then said as Vaggie facepalmed.
"Thanks for taking care of Lincoln for us..." Rita said gratefully to the couple as they nodded but they along with Lincoln were bracing themselves for the big bombshell.
"Great... Not that I don't feel for the kid because of of course I do but we will now have to take care of him and our first new patron at this hotel while trying to rehabilitate him... Plus get him away from Lincoln..." Vaggie sighed as Charlie looked to Belphegor as she was packing back up.
"I get it... Didn't think that I would be a good influence on the kid..." Angel Dust then remarked arms folded as the Louds wondered why they did allow him near Lincoln.
"Thank you so much for your help Aunt Belle." Charlie said as Belphegor tipped an imaginary head.
"Anytime Charlie and congrats on your new kid... Should probably mention but... The new side of him has essences of you and Vaggie there so pretty much speaking... You are now as much as his parents as the two that conceived him... Congrats; it's a boy!" Belphegor then said with a smile as the three had their eyes widened in shock.
"...Excuse me?" Rita whispered as the Louds silently took this in as Lincoln, Charlie and Vaggie sighed.
"It was a surprise to be informed by Dad and I couldn't wait to let our siblings know..." Gabriel said smiling.
"No. NO.NO!I refuse to entertain such a notion; it's scientifically impossible..." Lisa snapped getting upon and taking out a computer. She went to her brother and got a needle out to take a boog sample as he then yelled with Charlie and Vaggie checking up on him.
"What's the big idea... OW!" Vaggie yelled angrily as Lisa then did the same against her and Charlie. She then did the same for her parents who allowed it to happen as Vaggie muttered "Lincoln; they should be telling her off for taking blood samples without permission like this..."
Lincoln thought that it wouldn't be the first experiment that she had gotten away with.
Lisa then saw the test results from her machine and her face dropped in shock; "Wha... Can't..." Lisa said looking as if she had been told that Leni had scored higher on a IQ test than her as the Louds were speechless.
"So... You are not only part demon but you know have a second set of parents..." Lori asked finding her voice and Lincoln nodded sighing as Charlie and Vaggie checked on his arm seeing that it had healed from Lisa's blood taking and now Luna got up to take Lisa back to her seat and she calmed down a bit.
"Don't know what to think..." Lucy said...
"You're fucking serious?" Vaggie then asked as Belphegor then nodded.
"I would watch the swearing in front of your new kid and you and Lincoln... Since you're both now family practically then please call me 'Aunt Belle' or just 'Belle' if you prefer..." Belphegor then said as she gave them a wave.
"As if my family wasn't big enough..." Lincoln muttered as Charlie and Vaggie looked at him.
"Wow... This is a lot to take in... We will be here to be with you every step of the way Lincoln!" Charlie told him assuringly and Vaggie nodded.
Rita then realised she could be hearing about them being motherly towards her son after this and didn't know if she can deal with it...
"Why don't I take you to the TV and you can try to relax there... I will find something almost semi appropriate for you and I can make you something to eat..." Vaggie told him as Charlie frowned at the boy's predicament.
"Don't worry... The food I got in Hell aren't that bad..." Lincoln reassured his family before they could say anything.
"I just hope he's been alright with whatever TV they have down there considering him and horror movies..." Lynn Sr said to Rita and she nodded.
Hold on; she and Vaggie had a kid? So soon; she thought that if it came to them ready to be mothers then they would adopt a demon child or a sinner kid so they don't have to watch them grow up...
"Like Neverland?" Leni asked as Alastor looked at them.
"Not really a place like that story but us Sinners don't age. I myself haven't aged since I died decades ago."Alastor clarified.
"Same thing for the souls that ascended to Heaven." Emily then clarified herself.
Anyway Lincoln is going to be so homesick and put off...
Charlie got an idea; she had the grimoire that her dad gave her in her room along with her other books and she should be able to use the energy of the spot where she was supposed to be summoned to pinpoint his home address. Then a quick sneak to his room and...
"That explains that..." Emily whispered as the Louds then looked at Charlie who had a sheepish smile as Vaggie and Lincoln sighed.
"What did she do..." Husk muttered curiously along with Alastor.
Back in Lucy's room at the Loud house; Lucy was looking through Great Grandmother Harriet's notebook while her friends looked through the book. Lucy was frantically trying to look for any clue as to bring back her only brother as her friends were concerned as well.
Lincoln frowned upon remembering how he had just learned that Harriet became an overlord and was now missing thanks to... Are everyone else going to learn... How would he react?
"Nothing yet... I don't know if it says what to do if someone gets through the pentagram while the ritual is going on..." Morpheus said the one of them who had the best knowledge of arcane arts.
"I am kind of jealous that he gets to see the realm of darkness but still... He might not survive long..." Haiku said as Lucy nodded knowing her brother well; he couldn't even do well on a camping trip with just Clyde at his side.
Lincoln groaned at the reminder of that little adventure.
"Well we could try a camping trip ourselves to help you..." Charlie suggested to Lincoln with a smile and he wondered how that would go. However he gave her a grateful smile nonetheless.
"I am guess that those aren't their real names?" Sibella asked as Lucy shook her head.
They then heard shouting and the front door banging. They got out and went downstairs to investigate and there was Lola and Lynn Jr looking very unhappy as their parents tried to calm them down.
Lynn Jr and Lola had their heads down as they had no clue at the time...
Then there was Luna coming in; "Sorry to interrupt this shouting dudes but... is Lincoln alright? He never showed up at our concert and he never replied to any of our texts." Luna said as Lynn Jr scoffed. Lucy was freaking out as Lincoln's phone had been alerted with new texts during the hours that he was gone.
Lincoln frowned with some others; to here how his friends and loved ones reacted to his disappearence...
"He never showed up at my soccer game as well and I was totally zoned out thinking about that and couldn't do my rituals... We lost by 3 goals!" Lynn Jr screamed as Lola was glaring with her arms folded up.
"You think that's bad? He totally bailed on me at my pageant and even ended a call saying that he would be there! I lost! I never lose these pageants; this is a travesty! I am gonna get to the bottom of this!" Lola snapped as she ran up the stairs with Lynn Jr.
"Hold on now kids... I am sure there's a good explanation..." Lynn Sr said chasing up after them as Lucy gulped and then Luna looked at Lucy's hand.
"Is that Lincoln's phone? Why do you have it Lucy?" Luna asked as Lucy and her friends were more nervous as Luna and Rita (with Lily in her arms) looked to her.
"...Lincoln was helping us with a ritual to summon the king of the realm of darkness... He ended up tripping and disappeared We fear that he is lost there but we are trying to get him back..." Lucy then said as Luna had her eyes widened and looked sceptical.
"To be sceptical at the time..." sighed Luna with her sisters.
"I am sure that there's a more reasonable explanation as to what happened Lucy honey..." Rita said as they heard screaming. They ran up the stairs outside of Lincoln's room with his door open and found it completely void of his stuff: no wallpaper, no desk, no carpet, nothing on his bed and all of his belongings were gone.
"Wow Char-Char... You never thought how they would react to that..." Lucifer asked amused along with his wife as Alastor was laughing, Husk looked amused and Sibella and Angel Dust were laughing.
"I can only imagine how much of a shock that was..." Lincoln said as Charlie looked sheepish.
"Yeah... I didn't think my idea through too well..." Charlie admitted as Gabriel then carried on.
