In Lincoln's room in the hotel; Charlie had Lincoln sit down on a bed as she showed him a book. "This is a grimoire of my family... Which can be considered our family... But anyway; Dad used this to help show me how to use my magic and it can help you. It's really not that hard to understand; you just have to not stress about it. Focus but not strain yourself; feel the magic in your hands and you can bring things to life and summon forth the power to shape things to your liking. Perks of being part angel." Charlie said gently as she showed him a vision floating above her hand of a fluffy cloud world like out of a cartoon.
"Your first magic lesson..." Charlie said to Lincoln as the Louds stared and Lucy and Emily got interested.
"Him and his magic... Don't think he would be able to do anything major..." Lola scoffed in a whisper.
Charlie then snapped her fingers and to Lincoln's astonishment; the whole room transformed to look like it; then she made it look normal.
"The power at our disposal..." Alastor bragged as the Louds had their eyes widened at the description.
"It was something..." Lincoln said as Charlie then smiled at him.
"I am sure that you will be able to do things like that when you're ready..." she assured him.
"Wow... That's amazing..." Lincoln said in awe and then frowned as he looked at the book. "I don't know if I can do that Charlie... I have been practicing stage magic at home as a hobby but... Trying to do angel magic like you did... This might be too much for me..." Lincoln said with a nervous frown as Charlie patted him on the head.
"Don't worry Lincoln as it was hard for me when I was being taught how to use my powers." Emily then said assuringly.
"Don't put too much pressure on you Lincoln; don't think too hard on it and try practicing on your own." Charlie told him assuringly as she then went to the door and then closed it.
Lincoln frowned and looked at the book; "Okay Lincoln... Maybe Charlie is right... If you focus then perhaps you can... You have some stuff when you were emotional... Maybe if I am calm..." Lincoln said and looked to Bun-Bun and got an idea.
The Hell residents besides Lilith thought that they knew what was going on...
He focused on his beloved toy as he closed his eye and then felt himself looking like he was seeing his own changed part human, part angel and part demon soul and then put some focus onto his toy and...
It suddenly had a soul and it was moving?
"You brought your own toy to life..." Lynn Jr asked as the Loud siblings looked at him in astonishment and Lincoln nodded as Emily smiled thinking how attached he was to it.
Lola stood corrected what she whispered before and maybe when they are home; she could get him to work the magic on her own toys...
He opened his eye and saw that Bun-Bun was now a living toy sized rabbit wearing its shirt and then went and snuggled up to him.
The Louds and Emily thought that this sounded adorable and Charlie and Vaggie shared a smile.
"I did that... I brought Bun-Bun to life!" Lincoln said excitedly and then he found Angel Dust was there with a pig.
"Hey Lincoln... Cool that you brought your toy to life; this here is Fat Nuggets. Perhaps they can be friends." Angel Dust said putting down Fat Nuggets who looked friendly to Lincoln as Bun-Bun went up to the pig.
"What kind of name is Fat Nuggets?" Lana asked as the Louds were bewildered and Angel Dust humphed.
"So this is where you two started to bond; against my advice and orders but still..." Vaggie said to Lincoln and then Angel Dust with them smiling.
"So Lincoln; how are ya finding things at this hotel?" Angel Dust decided to ask as he sat down on this table.
"A bit scary but alright... Especially with Charlie and Vaggie looking out for me." Lincoln said as Angel Dust leaned back.
"Saw the queen here earlier... She was right about one thing; you know... Things are plenty nasty here in Hell; especially the Pride Ring. Assholes on every streets; fights breaking out every day... Poverty of all kinds and wars between gangs... Trust me any of the bad cities on Earth would look like Heaven compared to this dump." Angel Dust told him as Lincoln frowned upon hearing it as it did make sense.
The Louds gulped sounding afraid and Emily did; they looked worried to Lincoln. Angel Dust then said "tell me that I'm wrong..." Charlie adn Vaggie just sighed knowing that he was being accurate as Charlie's parents as well as Alastor and Husk nodded.
"Have you tried to move?" Lincoln asked as Angel Dust scoffed.
"The sinners can't leave the Pride Ring... The other demons can come and go any time they want but us sinners... Stuck in this overpopulated ring..." Angel Dust replied as Lincoln looked down. "Just thought that I would warn you if you are staying here and have to go out of the hotel; it's a dog eat dog world on the streets here no matter how much the princess will sugarcoat things..." Angel Dust said as Lincoln then frowned some more feeling like he would be terrified once he actually sets foot out of the hotel.
"I was alright when I started to..." Lincoln said assuringly as the Louds and Emily then began looking to eachother.
Trying to think of something else Lincoln said "I think I can also see into people's souls... Let me say what a sinner's soul looks like..." He then closed his eyes as he glanced towards Angel Dust as he found it kind of bound and it looked like there was a hole where his soul is missing.
"That's odd..." Lucy said as Emily and the Louds thought that it sounded peculiar but Angel Dust looked tense as Charlie and Vaggie stared at him with frowns.
"Is this when Lincoln..." Vaggie asked as Angel Dust nodded with the angels and the Louds wondering what they were talking about. However Alastor and Husk had a feeling...
"Wait... I think something is wrong with your soul... Maybe I can try and fix it..." Lincoln said focusing on it and...
"Proud of what he ended up doing but all sorts of things could have gone wrong..." Vaggie whispered to Charlie who sighed.
"You were able to mess with a demon's soul?" Lucy asked stunned and Lincoln nodded as he smiled at Angel Dust; knowing what he did now...
"What? Listen here kid; my soul is private and I am up for a lot of things but getting personal of any kind with a kid is all kinds of wrong... Leave me alone..." Angel Dust said as there was a flash and Lincoln was holding a chain and it was connected to it a collar around Angel Dust's neck.
The Louds and angels were silent open mouthed shocked; "What was that?" Lynn Jr asked as they turned to Lincoln who just sighed.
"This where Link managed to have my contract transferred to him from Valentino..." Angel Dust whispered.
"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!" Angel Dust snapped as Lincoln panicked as he was also holding a piece of paper glowing green as well.
The Louds and angels were just confused as well.
"I am sorry Angel Dust... Let me fix this..." Lincoln said in a panic as he went and focused on the chain and collar breaking and it shattered into pieces which vanished. Angel Dust noticed and looked to the paper; he picked it up and it turned to ashes in his hands.
"Thanks again Link..." Angel Dust said towards Lincoln gratefully as this got those not in the know wondering what the details were.
Alastor's face became a bit more strained as it looked to be concerned; Husk however was hiding a small grin. Waiting until he could get Lincoln to do that for him...
"What... I feel whole again... That my soul is mine again... Been so long..." Angel Dust said with tears forming in his eyes as he went and pulled Lincoln into a hug.
Angel Dust sighed and explained as eyes were on him "sold my so years ago to an overlord demon and... Lincoln broke my contract..."
"Led to something later..." Lincoln said as he, Charlie, Vaggie and Lucifer looked serious that made the humans and angels concerned.
"Lincoln! We heard screaming... Are you alright?" Vaggie shouted out as the door was pushed open and there were was Vaggie and Charlie in a panic to see their embrace. "So what happened here?" Vaggie asked as Angel Dust looked and smiled at them as Charlie was smiling brightly herself.
"Just me asking your kid how he's doing and we kind of bonded..." Angel Dust said with a smile.
"Yeah... We bonded... Somehow..." Lincoln said sounding confused as he wasn't exactly certain what did he just do that made Angel Dust so happy.
"Off course I do now... I don't blame him..." Lincoln whispered seeing how much of a difference his unintentional actions made...
Then Bun-Bun then came up to Charlie and she picked him up.
"Wow Lincoln! Did you bring your toy to life? I remember when I was a kid and dad brought Razzle and Dazzle alive from my stuffies! I knew you could do your magic if you practice!" Charlie said awwing at how adorable she found Bun-Bun as Vaggie just looked surprised.
"I remember that day..." Lilith said sharing a smile with her husband as they held hands and Charlie smiled as well.
"Wow... Doesn't look like you are faking it Angel Dust... Nice to see you getting along; don't know how I feel about my new kid befriending a porn star..." Vaggie said as Lincoln looked confused as Charlie nudged Vaggie.
The older Louds groaned at the reminder of this.
"Your kid..." Charlie slightly squealed as Lincoln looked at Vaggie.
The three shared a look and the Loud parents blanched at this; realising what she said and the children felt a bit uneasier.
"What is a porn star?" Lincoln asked and at the one question Vaggie and Charlie quickly had their faces turn to panic as Angel Dust then got up.
"Looks like you need to have a talk with him about the birds and the bees; have fun with that." Angel Dust said as he then picked up Fat Nuggets and left.
"How did that conversation go Charlie dear?" Lilith asked amused as Charlie and Vaggie groaned.
"We faked our way out of it so well we should have gotten fucking medals..." Vaggie sighed.
Lucifer solovedbeing asked to come into the Heaven Embassy on short notice for an emergency meeting; helovedit so much.
"Please tell us how you really feel dear brother." Gabriel said smirking as Lucifer flashed him a double middle finger with a glare as Sera rolled her eyes.
"You're the one reading the book Gabriel!" Lucifer retorted.
"Hold on... Heaven has an embassy in Hell?" Lori asked as the Louds were stunned by this.
"Needed for when we need to meet with Lucifer for important details." Sera clarified.
Lucifer being met with his old friend Sera who was basically running Heaven's angel council which ran the city and were outranked only by his siblings and off course his dad the Lord.
However to his surprise Sera had come to the meeting in person and gave him a grimoire as she explained what had happened. "Emily is in near hysterics; thinking that she failed her first charge as a guardian angel. She wants him back safe and sound and it looks like his sister and her friends accidentally sent him to Hell when they were trying to summon you or Satan." Sera explained to him with a sad sigh.
"Never saw her like that when she came back so soon with that book..." Sera sighed sadly as Emily frowned remembering the day and the Louds looked towards them.
"Yeah; the humans do think that me and the big wrathful guy are the same a lot." Lucifer said hiding that he knew exactly what happened to this kid. What happened after she found out the details would be so complicated and he so wanted to put it off as much as possible.
"You knew what happened to him and you were going to hide the details..." Emily snapped accusatory towards Lucifer who raised his eyebrow as Sera gently called to Emily.
"You would have preferred to hear the details and how he would need to be stuck in Hell for the time being? Especially how you were at the time?" Lucifer asked with this new information and Emily hated that she couldn't argue and so gave a childish pout as she folded up her arms.
"Lucifer; this is no time for any games. Please an innocent child's life is in the balance! Stuck in your realm and Emily wants him to be safe and sound... I don't think returned since this is only his family outdoing themselves which is a big feat..." Sera said as she whispered the last bit with a grunt which Lucifer nodded.
"Hey... What's that supposed to mean? You were gonna keep our brother away from us when you found him? Plus outdoing ourselves?" Luan asked angrily as the Louds looked towards Sera with Emily frowning but Sera glared back. Lincoln felt tense along with Charlie and Vaggie but the grandparents... Smirked...
"What does it sound like it means? Your family has quite a long file and you should see how many binders A to D alone has..." Sera said sternly as this had them stammering out.
"Heaven and maybe Charlie's mother were conspiring to keep our baby away from us..." Rita whispered to Lynn Sr who was as peeved as her.
He quickly got an idea.
"Say no more Sera; I will off course take action as soon as I find a fully alive human child in my realm. I will have him brought here and let you know as soon as that happens!" Lucifer said with a big smile as he picked up the grimoire that she had placed on the table. "Off course I just said nothing about a now half human and part angel and demon and whatever kid... Especially not before I get my chance to see the kid..." Lucifer thought as he then got up as Sera seemed to accept his answer.
"What?" Lucifer asked as he got looks and he was smirking.
"I should have known that you were being tricky with your words again old friend..." Sera told as he just directed his smirk towards her causing her to sigh.
"I am downing an entire bottle of wine from my fridge when I return..." Sera whispered to herself.
Lucifer whispered to himself as he came out of the Embassy; the reminder of his previous home that he was kicked out of.
"This sounded much more dramatic when it's told on Earth..." Lucy whispered to herself.
But something Sera said something about Lincoln's family; something to look into and perhaps it could lead to something else...
"Dad..." Charlie asked carefully with her and Vaggie looking towards him and he looked innocent. The Louds thought that he was plotting like his wife about something...
He stood outside the doors and looked at the inside of the grimoire and on the page opposite the cover; it said it belonged to Harriet Loud along with a photo.
"Really wish we could get that back..." Lucy muttered with her parents nodding.
"Hold on... This looks like... Harriet the Horror?" Lucifer asked
Lincoln, Sibella and Husk felt uneasy as Charlie and Vaggie gasped out loud.
"My my... Lincoln; you're Harriet's great grandchild? I wish I could have known sooner; we could have had a big talk about her..."Alastor said grinning as the Louds were stunned.
"Wait... What? Harriet the Horror?" Leni asked with her family taking this in.
"A powerful overlord who was a growing star in the overlord circuit; one of those personally mentored by Zestial the oldest and most powerful of the overlords." Vaggie explained in a whisper.
"Overlords are basically the crime bosses of sinners; the ones were are more powerful than the others and deals in collecting souls through deals to gain power..." Lincoln explained to the angels and his human family.
"Wait... Grandma Harriet... Is in Hell?" Lynn Sr asked as the Louds were stunned silence with most giving them and Lincoln sympathy for this. Charlie and Vaggie stared at Alastor who was smirking looking amused.
thinking of the sinner overlord who was infamous in her time as morbid even for a sinner and could be quite terrifying with the dark power that she was able to command.
The Louds were still taking this in.
Lucifer never had to worry about the overlords challenging him but he liked to take note of the more noteworthy ones from time to time. Sera said that this belonged to Lincoln's great grandmother so maybe he would like to meet her and vice versa?
"You met her Lincoln?" Lucy asked at once and the Louds turned to Lincoln who frowned and shook his head.
"He wouldn't be able to..."Alastor said before laughing which filled dread within the Louds and Emily.
Before going home he decided to visit where he could get information on the inner politics of the overlords but the information he got meant that a reunion between the two wasn't possible.
"Sorry your majesty but Harriet went missing a lot of years ago; no one knew what happened to her... Until they heard her on the radio..."
"Huh?" the Louds and Emily asked confused as the Hell residents looked towards Alastor.
"Alastor is known as the Radio Demon..." Vaggie explained in a whisper as the Louds turned to him.
"What did you do to our great grandmother?" Lori demanded as she and her sisters then stood up and charged forward only to hit a brick wall that Lincoln in a panic managed to conjure up. "What the hell Lincoln..." Lori demanded as Lincoln shook his head as he, Charlie and Vaggie were uneasy. The Loud parents were taken aback as well.
"Please... Just sit down... You don't want to start anything with him..." Lincoln pleaded as Alastor then said.
"It would be wise to listen your brother."Alastor then said mockingly as the Loud sisters didn't know why Lincoln was acting like this but reluctantly did so.
Gabriel sighed and said "I think that it's time for a short break to let you all cool down..."
