Mike scowls down at his notebook, tapping his pencil against it anxiously. He barely glances up when AJ wanders into the living room, dropping some of the kids' toys in the box they have set aside just for that purpose.

"Kids are both napping, miracle of miracles," she comments, wandering over to him and draping her arms around his shoulders, peering at the blank page mocking him. "Whatcha working on?"

"I'm trying to think of a hook for MizTV next week, but nothing's really coming. I swear, my recent proximity to Boogs has entirely melted my brain."

AJ hums, tracing shapes against his collarbone. "Why don't you ask about his suits? I'm sure the two of you could talk for an hour about that."

Mike rolls his eyes so thoroughly that she can feel it in the shifting of his shoulders. She playfully swats at him, then scrapes her nails against his jaw, drawing his face over until they're eye to eye. "I need something more than that," he tells her, eyes dark and worried. "Do you realize I've been on TV more often with game shows than I have on WWE recently?"

She frowns at him, tracing his lips with her fingers. "Is that why you're so worried about a subject for MizTV?"

"Yeah," he mumbles, eyes trailing over her face. "I don't know what to do, it's almost Wrestlemania season and I have nothing going for me. What am I going to do?"

She watches him, smile sad. "You always think of something, Mike. I know you will again this year. Just be patient with yourself. it'll come." She cards her fingers through his hair, skritching at his neck. "And while you wait, I'll be here to be your sounding board, to reassure you whenever you need it."

"I love you," he says, tracing a finger down her jaw. "More and more every day."

She beams at him. "Right back at you, handsome." She hums. "Let's go brainstorm elsewhere, hm? Maybe a change of scenery will help." She traces his nose and winks at him, getting up and holding a hand out. "Ready?"

"Yeah," Mike says, slipping his fingers into hers and letting himself get pulled up to his feet. "Let's go do that."

She smiles at him, leading him out of the living room.
