Mike's not sure what's more frustrating- getting beat up repeatedly in one weekend, or having his family there to witness it. He grits his teeth as he makes his way slowly up to the skybox everyone's settled in, overseeing the show. He nods grimly at Heath as he walks by, Sara, Monroe and Madison lost in playing with dolls and ponies, making up some grand adventure for the various toys scattered before them.

AJ and Maryse are sitting next to each other on the couch nearest the monitor showing the ring, Balor and Edge brawling around the ringside area. He grumbles and drops down next to AJ, careful not to dislodge George as he settles against her shoulder, sighing.

"Poor guy," Maryse says with a small smile, quirking at eyebrow at him as he grouses, burying his face in AJ's neck. "How many matches was that tonight?"

"Three," he says dully, glowering at her lifelessly.

"My poor husband," AJ says, stroking her free hand through his hair. "Did your suit make it through alright?"

"I think so," he says. "Snoop came really close to tearing it with his stupid elbow drop though." He can't help the petulance in his voice, or the pout on his face, even with George staring up at him curiously.

"Luckily you always have a seamstress on call," Heath says, wandering over to snag a bottle of water.

Mike rolls his eyes and only just misses tripping Heath by mistiming when he kicks his foot out, Heath having just walked past. AJ smirks against his forehead and pinches him, Heath looking over when Mike gasps.

"Be nice," AJ reprimands him with a smirk.

"Why don't you tell him to be nice?" Mike pouts. "He's the one making fun of me after such a rough couple of nights."

AJ simply chuckles, kissing his forehead.

"Men, such babies, oui?" Maryse asks with a chuckle.

"Oui," AJ laughs, booping George on the nose when he squirms against her.

"I would be offended," Mike mumbles. "But I'm too tired."

AJ chuckles. Kisses him again. "Thankfully the show is almost over, then we can all go home," she murmurs, nuzzling against him. "John and Taya are waiting for a post-show party at least, so that'll be fun."

"It will be," Mike agrees, finding her hand and lacing their fingers together. "Too bad they didn't feel comfortable coming to the show this weekend. I understand, though."

"I do too," AJ muses. "And it'll probably be more fun to spend time with them alone after the show, instead of during the middle of it when you're so busy."

Mike nods. "True," he says sleepily, glancing back to the screen to watch the end of the Balor vs Edge match. He's relieved that the main event is soon, which means he can officially shrug off the responsibility of being Wrestlemania host from his shoulders.

As much as he enjoyed the prestige of it, he won't miss the stress or tension of making sure things went as smoothly as they did. He sits up and kisses AJ, gazing deeply into her eyes. "Thank you for being so patient with me while I waited for these nights to come."

AJ smiles at him, kisses him back. "My pleasure," she murmurs, tucking his head back into the warmth of her shoulder, making sure they're all comfortable as the watch Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman finally make their way to the ring to continue the final match of the weekend.
