Summer: And on the wind, Alyx heard one more question...What are you?
Closing the book, "The Girl Who Fell Through the World", and placing the book on the table; Summer Rose sat down for a moment, looking at both her daughters with a bittersweet smile. These were her most precious gifts to this world and it pained her to know that when they wake up tomorrow, they would wonder where she be and when she'll come back.
Summer: I love you...just the way you are. Always.
She placed her emblem brooch on the top of the book before giving both girls one last goodnight kisses on their foreheads before heading to the living room. She looked outside into the nightly view until she heard footsteps approaching and looked over to see her husband, Taiyang Xiao Long.
Taiyang: It's not like you rush off on a mission in the middle of the night.
Summer: *sighs* You know how Ozpin gets. Mystery after mystery.
Taiyang: And when it turns out to be yet another run-of-the-mill patrol, it'll be...
Both: *imitates Ozpin* "I always prefer discretion." *chuckles*
Both shared a good small laugh before the mood was brought down once again. Summer approached Taiyang and hugged him in comfort to which he slowly returned the hug.
Summer: I'll be back soon.
Taiyang: I know.
Deep in the woods of Patch, Summer looked back one last time at her home which was barely in sight but the feeling, the hole growing in the heart, was not enough to stop her from looking back. She wiped a tear before looking ahead and saw the impossible right in front of her.
The TARDIS
Summer heard noises from the trees above which startled her a bit until a certain figure landed right in front of her. A familiar face, a former partner, and the mother of Yang Xiao Long: Raven Branwen.
Raven: Nobody suspects anything?
Summer: No. *takes off my hood* They think it's a typical mission.
Raven: Summer Rose telling lies...first time for everything. And...Uh...What about...You're just going to leave them?
Summer: *glares* You're one to talk.
Raven: It's...*sighs* You're better at that life, better than I was...
Summer: If I do this right...then there's nothing to worry about. Trust me.
Raven: *sighs* Let's get it over with, I guess.
The two approached the TARDIS with Summer Rose slowly knocking on the doors. It took a bit until the doors opened to reveal a familiar face to Raven and Summer, one they have not seen since the Vytal Festival at Haven Academy.
The Doctor: Well, Well, Well, Hello again Summer, Raven.
Summer: Doctor! *Hugs him* You have not changed one bit since we last saw each other.
The Doctor: This face isn't going anywhere for a very long time. Though, it has been a few weeks since I last saw you two. *Looks over at Raven* Hello, Raven.
Raven: *looks down* Hello...
The Doctor: Look at you two, all grown up, mighty protectors of Remnant. I wish it was more of spending wonderful days out here than facing off against Grimm.
Summer Rose: I think those wonderful days will come sooner than anyone believes...I hope.
The Doctor: Still not going to tell me where you two are going at this hour?
Summer Rose: It's still classified...we know you want to help...and we really appreciate that. But...it's our battle, our mission.
The Doctor could only look at Summer with a saddened expression. There are many pros about being a Time Lord but there are also cons to it...one of them is knowing the fate of people he knows..
He knows that this is the day Summer Rose...never comes back...
The Doctor: Very well, I know the universe is always on hot dial in need of help. I'll drop you two off to your location then I'm off. When the mission is done or if it goes chaotic, *hands her a small watch* Just press the watch and it'll send an alert to me.
The two ladies nodded at the Doctor before they go inside the TARDIS as the Doctor closes her doors then sets off with the TARDIS dematerializing into thin air. Off to the mission that changed the lives of many...

Ruby felt the entire sequence flash before her eyes and moves a bit back. A mix of emotions running through her mind as everything she had been told, that she had believed, was all a lie.
Ruby: What? What was that? She...She lied. She left with Raven. Why would she?...
Blacksmith: Who knows why people keep the secrets they do. Maybe you're not the only one who has felt the weight of other's expectations. Like Alyx, like your mother.
Ruby: *slowly looks over* You knew?...All this time...and you never said anything...
Across from Ruby was the Doctor...
He wasn't truly there but used his psychic link to connect his minds with her. It was unfortunate, that he reached her at a terrible timing.
The Doctor: I did...
Ruby: *marches towards him* YOU KNEW ALL THIS TIME AND NEVER TOLD ME?! YOU TOOK MY MOM TO THE PLACE WHERE SHE NEVER CAME BACK!
The Doctor: Yes and No. I knew what I was doing...what she was doing...I didn't know exactly what was going to happen. I waited for that signal to come back and it never did...
Ruby: But you still were a part of all this...You knew about my mother's death beforehand and still took her to the place where it happened...
The Doctor: But it showed you one important thing you are missing, We...are not perfect one bit. You can shower me with all the anger and hate you want, it does not change the fact that your mom wasn't perfect and she lied to protect you, to keep you away from the dangers. But you are just like her, you both love danger.
Ruby: And it showed me one important thing as well, The Doctor lies. You knew what was going to happen to my mom! You knew Atlas was going to fall! And when were you going to tell us that you do plan to regenerate in the end!...
The Doctor: *bites my lips and looks down* This...is not about me, Ruby. You are near death-
Ruby: Are you just trying to tell me that it's useless? That I shouldn't even try? Is that the big lesson I'm supposed to learn? Just...give up? *Falls on my knees* Become...someone else?
The Doctor: What you saw is to show you the truth, your mother had a duty of care for you and your sister. She wasn't perfect, she wasn't all prepared but she still went, stood her ground, and made sure the future lives on for you. You see the connection? This is not about Ruby Rose giving up and becoming someone else! This is you learning, getting back up, and being Ruby Rose.
Ruby: But...I don't want to...
The Doctor: That right there...that's the little girl that entered Beacon at such a young age, that had to learn and become a huntress not only because she thought it was awesome...but because it was needed. That little girl carried all that weight, all that trauma, all that battle scars...Now it's time for you to help that little girl, protect her, let her know that outside of all this horror and pain is a beautiful and marvelous future.
Ruby closed her eyes and took in the words of the Doctor while all those memories, emotions, and thoughts circled her mind.
He was right...
She has been this little girl that wanted to protect her home, her friends, and family. And now it was time for the young lady she is now to protect the little girl in her. Just like Summer Rose intended to...
Ruby: I-*looks up* Doctor? *Stands up* DOCTOR?
Blacksmith: Your time is running out. You must choose. Choose for yourself one who could leave your burdens behind. Or choose one who'll be enough to bear them.

A 6 on 1 battle always goes in favor of the group rather than the solo fighter. Unfortunately for our heroes, they were not prepared to face The Master...
He was quick, agile, calculated, and strong. At this point he was having fun with the yawns and laughs he's been releasing and while there have been chances to strike him, they have all fallen short.
It went from taking down The Master to protecting Weiss and Ruby at ALL cost.
The Master: Little Red will break and the Schnee will no longer LIVE!
Yang: There's no way we're letting you get to Ruby!
The Master: *chuckles* But don't you see? What comes out of that Tree might not even be your sister any longer!
The Master uses Neo's Semblance to create zombified versions of Ruby, traumatizing Yang but angering her even more as she lunged forwards towards The Master, only for him to move aside, grab her arm, and launch her onto Blake, giving an opening towards Weiss.
Until Jaune blocks and hits him with his shield.
Jaune: This whole time...I thought Alyx made it back home and lied about everything that happened here! But you were the one that killed! WHO LIED!
The Master: You were never the brave knight either! Just more fairytale nonsense!
As Jaune lunged forward, The Master disappeared and instead was an illusion of Penny cowering which freezes Jaune from the trauma until he was struck behind by another illusion, An illusion of his Pyrrha.
Pyrrha: JAUNE?!
Pyrrha sped over and sliced the illusion of her Remnant self which shattered to pieces while Weiss used her glyphs to launch multiple fireballs at The Master, only for him to dodge them all then kick one towards Jaune, blasting him off the tree.
Everyone: JAUNE!
The Master: And so concludes the story of the Rusted Knight.
Weiss: THAT'S ENOUGH! *Eyes turn gold*
Jacques: WEISS, DON'T!
Weiss ignored Jacques's warning, freezing time around her, and running towards The Master. She had the opening and was ready to finish him off-
The Master: BOO!
Weiss's startled and collapsed as everything around her was time restored before The Master changed his hand for claws and slashed Weiss once again then pinning her on the ground.
The Master: That's it...Regenerate...
The wound in Weiss's body began to glow as the regeneration process but The Master placed his hand on her wound, causing Weiss's to scream in heavy pain from the pressure and The Master slowly absorbing the regeneration.
The Master: Yesssss...YESSSSSSSS!
Until a direct blast hit The Master, sending him back while Pyrrha dragged Weiss back who was unconscious at the moment. Jacques stepped forward and shot another hit towards The Master with the Cyberman gun.
Jacques: You keep her filthy hands from my daughter!
The Master: *growls* You shouldn't even have that weapon. And you were in MY WAY!
The Master charged forward at Jacques who was ready for a fight until he ducked as Yang lunged forward and struck The Master with a multiple double blast followed by another heavy blast from Jacques's weapon.
Yang: Pyrrha!
Pyrrha: She's healing! But the process is going slower than usual!
Blake: He must've absorbed a bit of it.
Jacques: And he will continue to do so!
The Master: Punished and stripped of my body, my regenerations...No More! The one thing those Brothers failed to recognize is not even GODS CAN TAKE ME DOWN! AND LOOK AT YOU MISERABLE LOTS! *smirks* Already gasping for air, beaten, you aren't going to last long.
Yang: It doesn't matter! We will fight even if we are all at our last breath.
The Master: Tsk. Such disgrace and foolery The Doctor has made growing close to the humans. No matter, I'll be sure to describe to him your deaths.
The Master charged over at the group of heroes until a flash of light shined everywhere and a large gust of wind sent everyone flying including The Master.
Yang looked at where the light came from and her eyes widened completely...

You never were the hero.
Jaune recognized that voice and slowly got up from that hard hit that sent him flying off the tree. Now he was back here in the clouds of the mind that the Herbalist once put him in until a familiar face appeared in front of him which saddened him.
Jaune: Alyx...
Alyx: You couldn't save me.
Jaune: I...couldn't save a lot of people…
Alyx: Maybe it's time for a change, to be the kind of man you always wanted to be.
Alyx held her hand out which Jaune hesitated at first but he looked once again to see Alyx with a peaceful expression and one of trust. He slowly grabbed her hand and everything appeared in a flash of light.
He was now back and not far from where the battle was happening but his eyes widened when he saw a familiar figure above. He was mixed with shock, relief, and happiness.
She came back.

She slowly approached the case that had a familiar weapon, one that she held for a long time, one that she held close. She had made her choice.
Ruby: This one. What happens...if I choose me?
Blacksmith: Then maybe...that girl is enough.
Ruby smiled softly at the Blacksmith while everything faded to darkness except for her and the case which opened and the weapon she chose fell as Ruby jumped and lunged towards grabbing her precious Crescent Rose.
As Ruby gets closer and closer to grabbing it, she felt her mother's presence and could hear her voice which gave her the comfort and support she had been needing.
Summer: *echoes* I love you...Just the way you are.
Ruby extended out her hand...
And grabbed Crescent Rose as a bright light surrounded her...
And the crack around her wooden self began to break around until it shatters completely, sending the large gust of wind where everyone was standing as they all looked back and saw the return of Ruby Rose.
Yang: RUBY!
Weiss: *gets up slowly* You're...You.
Blake: How?
Jaune: *crawls back up* She knew what she needed to be all along.
Pyrrha: Jaune! *Helps him out*
The Master: *looks over and chuckles* How heroic. The might hero has returned. I'll make sure to send you back and this time you STAY there.
Yang: Sis! The Cat has been lying to us all this time, it's The Master!
Jacques: He has possessed your enemy's body and used it for his own.
Weiss: *grunts weakly* And now he wants to steal my regeneration...
Ruby: Then we defeat him...together.
The Master: *laughs* THIS IS GOING TO BE BLOODY FUN!

The Master made full speed towards Weiss but Ruby sped over with her Semblance and used Crescent Rose to grab The Master by the neck and launch him back.
As she waits at dawn
Looking for a way to escape her lonely heart
Ruby: Formation around Weiss!
Weiss: I can still fight...*grunts more*
Ruby: Not like that. Just stay close and eyes up!
Jaune: I got another plan as well but we need an opening!
Pyrrha: HEADS UP!
(Let them swallow you)
The Master leaped over the gang but is blasted by Yang, only for The Master to shatter in pieces as it turned out to be an illusion. One of many as The Master created multiple illusions of himself to even the odds against our heroes.
They all charged as the heroes stood their ground but fought on against each illusion of The Master while the real one lurked among the clash, eyes on sight on Weiss. He lunged at her, only to be met by Ruby Rose once again and the two clashed!
I won't fall down, you need me
We don't follow crowds, we mold them new
The Master has met his match with Ruby using speed, agility, and skills to fight off against him which made it difficult to land a strike or move past her.
I'm not done, believe me
We won't settle down, we'll make them move
Ruby used her weapon in scythe mode and tried to slash The Master, only for him to grab it and send her flying, leaving an opening to strike Weiss once again. He leaped over, arms now turned to claws as Weiss turned around-
Make them mine
(I won't let them)
(I repent them)
(I won't let them SWALLOW YOU!)
Until Weiss disappeared into thin air and was replaced by the real Ruby Rose aiming right at The Master's head.
BANG!
The Master's head shatters to pieces, being another illusion but not before Ruby swung the illusion body like a baseball towards the real Master who simply moved aside, slowly getting frustrated, and disappears among the illusions as the rest tried to break the illusions, finding the real one.
I won't let them (I won't let them, I won't let them, I won't let them, I won't let them) Swallow you
Weiss slowed time for herself, watching every motion of her friends and the illusions until she saw a shadow slowly creeping up to her and knew who it was. She used Myrtenaster to release sharp ice blades towards The Master, but dodges them and clashes with her.
As it stands, you are no longer my friend
Eat my heart, take my soul, let it burn you

The Master: You really think you could defeat me when all I can do is continue to absorb your special power. Give. It! UP!
Weiss: Oh, how about you BITE ME!

Summoning glyphs from below, Weiss sends a massive blast to The Master that sends him flying then uses her energy pulse for a heavier blast, then brought down by Blake, and followed by a double blast combo by Ruby and Yang, having The Master crash onto a pile of leaves that are burning which the smoke surrounds him.
The Master: *cackles* Taking a page out of the caterpillar's book, hm? *inhales the smoke* The leaves have no effect on me.
Jaune: Maybe not, but that's not the case for Neo.
The realization hit The Master as a sharp jolt as hallucinations of Ruby, Cinder Fall, Roman Torchwick, and Neopolitan's parents surrounded him. The Master continued to cough as he felt his body being separated with the small resistance by Neo.
The Master: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
In a bright flash, two bodies emerged from the smoke.
Neo collapsing to the ground, weak by all that has happened before being kicked to the side by The Master who remained in a monstrous beast form of his cat self. He only growled at the heroes as they all charged forward towards The Master. He dropped the maniacal act then lunged forward like a crazed monster.
I won't fall down, you need me

Blake jumped forward and wrapped her Gambol Shroud across The Master's neck while Yang, Ruby, and Jacques all fired away towards The Master's body followed by a triple slash combo by Weiss, Jaune, and Pyrrha.
It did little more damage to The Master but he did not stop as he grabbed Blake and launched her towards Yang before dodging and leaping over the others, going right after Weiss.
We won't settle down, we'll make them move (we'll make them move)
Make them mine (make them mine)
No one was covering Weiss as she tried to activate her powers but was met with a fatal stab by The Master's claws...
But Weiss disappeared once again and was instead Ruby Rose covering herself with Crescent Rose, stunning The Master before receiving a fatal strike from Weiss as the White Rose duo salute each other.
Make them MINEEEEE!
Until The Master grabbed Weiss from her wings and pinned her to the ground, smacking Ruby away with his tail, ready to finish off the Time Angel.
BWOOM!
A repeated heavy blast hit The Master, crashing to the ground as Jacques stepped forward and continued blasting the monster with his Cyberman blaster followed by a double front and behind strike by Jaune and Pyrrha which wounds The Master even more.
You should let me go (I'm not worth saving)

Jaune jumped up with the aid of Pyrrha as he tried to land the finishing blow on The Master but the monster dodged and grabbed him, sending him crashing onto Pyrrha but was still being shot by Jacques which irritated The Master, going on to dodge the next shots then lunging towards Jacques-

Until Weiss emerged forward, in between Jacques and The Master, used her energy and wings to send a massive blast towards The Master that sends him crashing far back. Weiss summons multiple glyphs above The Master as Ruby uses her semblance to gather her team and go above each sylph...
(LET THEM SWALLOW YOU!)
And finishing off The Master with their ultimate team combo, causing a gust of smoke to surround the area.
For The Master has been defeated!
The girls all stand in front of the psychotic time lord, now back in his original Curious Cat form, weakened and angry by his embarrassing defeat.
The Master: DEFEATED...BY SOME GIRLS?!...How...humiliating...
Weiss: You gambled and you lost, Master. You were close to getting my regeneration but you failed. Just like your battles with the Doctor.
The Master: You're broken! You break everything you touch! I call Humans… weak! Confused! Incomplete!
Weiss: No, you're wrong.
Yang: She's never been any of those things.
Blake: That's why we follow her.
Ruby: We're going to Remnant, and you're going stay here. A deserving punishment for someone like you.
They all walked past The Master which angered him even more as he tried to leap towards Ruby...
Only to be grabbed by something large...
Something ferocious...Deadly...Hungry...
The Jabblewalkers.
The Master: NO! NO! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
The Jabblewalkers all lunged at The Master, ripping him apart and devouring him completely while everyone else watched in horror.
The Master was now dead.
They all looked over to see a weakened Neopolitan fall to her knees as she was the one that created the Jabblewalkers clones to finish off The Master.
Ruby sighed in relief before turning around and was instantly met with an emotional hug from her big sister, followed by all her friends as Ruby shed a few tears, returning the group hug as Pyrrha and Jacques watched with smiles and Neo watched from afar.
Roman: To have what they have. *Stands next to Neo* What a thing, huh? So, that's it then?
Neo only turned around, head down, tears falling as she looked over the edge of the tree to see multiple pile of leaves. She had made her decision and it was one that was going to keep her here for a while...
She looked back at Roman with a saddened yet thankful expression, placing her hand on his cheek as he could only smile softly with a small chuckle. A bittersweet goodbye between the mentor and the student.
Roman: Yeah, I know. I'm not real. Goodbye, Neo.
Roman disappeared while Neo stared at her hand for a moment before looking back at the heroes. She pointed her weapon at them before tipping her hat, bowing to them farewell, then hops off the tree, lightly being carried down by her umbrella.
Jaune: What about her?
Ruby: She'll find herself, one way or another.
Neo closed her eyes and felt herself at rest until everything faded away into darkness while the others watched a wooden version of Neopolitan appear. Ruby looked at her then looked down as someone else also came to her mind.
Yang: Ruby? What's wrong?
Ruby: When I was in the Tree, I never saw Little. I wish I could say "thank you".
Blake: Do you guys think...we might have...made things even worse in the Ever After? Just like Alyx did?
Ruby: I'm...not sure. I'd like to think we did at least a little good. Right?
?: WAIT!
A loud yet familiar voice startled everyone as they looked back to see a small creature running towards them but it was Ruby who recognized them the most. They were bigger, more adorable, and wore an orange cape with a hood, resembling Ruby.
Ruby: *gasps happily* LITTLE!
Mouse: *confused* Do I know you?
Ruby: Oh! Uh, I don't believe we've met yet. Please, what are you?
Mouse: I'm...*thinks* Well, you know I haven't thought about it yet. You look like you have wits about you. What do you think I am?
Ruby: Well, uh...To me, you seem like a friend.
Blake: A guide.
Weiss: A protector.
Yang: Aaaaaadorable.
Ruby: Do any of those sound close?
Somewhat: Hmmm. Somewhat. Yeah. Somewhat. I'm not any one thing, I'm somewhat of a lot of things!
Ruby: It is a true pleasure to meet you, Somewhat.
Somewhat: *bows* It will be my honor to serve you.
Ruby: *smiles* You've already done more for us than you know.
Somewhat: You do feel...familiar. Like a happy dream I can't remember.
Ruby: *tears up* I'm so glad we got to meet you. I'm sure you'll help lots of people. But now we have to say goodbye.
Ruby approached Somewhat and gave them a heartwarming hug in which Somewhat returned it and their heart spoke loudly which made Ruby smile even more.
Somewhat: It will be alright, Huntress.
Jaune: Hey, Somewhat.
Somewhat: *gasps and salutes* I am at your service!
Jaune: Will you look after Juniper? She means the world to me.
Somewhat: I will never leave her side.
Pyrrha: *giggles* And don't you worry, I'll be by your side to help.
Team RWBY: What?
Jaune: P-Pyrrha...Hold on! Y-You're not actually-
Pyrrha: *sighs softly* Jaune...I accomplished my goal in helping you get here, finding your friends, and finding your way home.
Jaune: B-But...we could all walk through that portal and maybe there will be a way to take you back home! Maybe the Doctor could-
Pyrrha could only silence a distraught Jaune by placing her hand on his cheek. To him, the same spot where his Pyrrha bid him goodbye during the Fall of Beacon. Tears fell from his eyes while Pyrrha did her best to hold a bittersweet smile.
Pyrrha: Oh Jaune...we've had some of the best time together. Wild adventures, protecting the lives of this world, getting to know each other, and be by each other's side. And it pains me to say this...but I am not your Pyrrha. I know all this time you saw me as a second chance to make it right but the truth is I am not her.
Jaune: *sobs* I...know...
Pyrrha: But it does not mean that I am not grateful for meeting someone so kind, brave, funny, and very charming like you. Hadn't it been for you, I would have been lost in this world for a very long time but because of you, I found a home. Now it's time for you to return home.
Jaune: B-But...you can still-...
Pyrrha: Perhaps one day we'll meet again. Never say never right?
Jaune could only nod slowly but the painful look on his face showed many emotions. To him, it was saying goodbye forever to Pyrrha.
Pyrrha: If your Pyrrha was here as well, she would have wanted you to let go...and return home...
Jaune: *looks down and closes my eyes* Yeah...*sniffs and looks at her* Thank you...Pyrrha...
Pyrrha got very emotional as well with tears falling from her eyes as she gently gave Jaune a soft kiss on the cheek. The girls only watched with sadness but respected Pyrrha's choice to stay behind.
Pyrrha: A...bittersweet gift...from me...to you...*sniffs* Thank you, Jaune. I...I shall miss you...
Jaune: *wipes my tears and smiles softly* Goodbye, Pyrrha...
The two parted ways as their hands didn't let go for a few more seconds until they did. Jaune petted Juniper and bid goodbye to his loyal companion and friend then joined his friends while Pyrrha stood by Somewhat and Juniper. Weiss looked over to Jacques and knew what his choice would be as well as she approached him.
Weiss: You're...staying as well...aren't you?
Jacques: Funny thing Weiss is that...sometimes when you're old and mature, your mind fills you with ideas, scenarios, and responsibilities. Perhaps one day it'll be my time to go and return home, but for now...I still have a duty to help out in this world.
Weiss: Because that's...who you always been Jacques...a really good man...
Jacques: And I know and I am grateful that while you didn't say anything, I was able to give you a bit of time to truly feel what it means to have a caring father.
Tears began to fall from Weiss as Jacques was indeed right. She never had any of this with her father, but a different Jacques from a different universe gave her the one thing that's been missing all her life: A Father's love.
Jacques: You have a wonderful family right there and a life full of adventures and blessings ahead. Go out there and make your life worth it. Make it special. I am very proud I got to know you and hear your story, Weiss Schnee. And thank you, for giving me a chance to feel like I was able to reunite with my daughter.
Weiss couldn't hold in her feels and gave Jacques a heartwarming hug as a goodbye and a thank you. And while it was her father from a different universe, it was still her father and she was grateful to get this moment.
Weiss: *sniffs* Goodbye, Dad...And thank you.
