I own nothing

Joanna sat with Aegon in Tyrion's office. The Yi Ti party was also in the room as they discussed the terms of their alliance. The chest which held the dragon eggs sat on the desk opened. Joanna was paying no mind to the discussion. Her eyes were locked on the dragon eggs. The glittering gold pearl egg held most of Joanna's attention. Aegon was discussing terms in Yi Tish. Tyrion caught Joanna's blue-green eyes over the dragon eggs. He was shocked to see Aegon taking the lead on this. He knew Tywin had taught negotiation tactics. A maid brought in drinks and small snacks. Joanna picked up pieces of cut apples. She took a bite making a happy noise. It causes Aegon to look at her. Her hand went to her belly. He graced her with a smile before he turned back to the discussion. Hua noticed their silent communication and the glow that seemed to be around Joanna.

"Forgive me Your Highnesses but may I offer you one of my midwives and a lady in waiting who served our family since I was a princess," Hua offered.

"I will be honored to accept them if Emperor Bua will allow it," Joanna replied.

"He will your highness, my brother is wanting for this alliance. To have a Yi Tish noblewoman and servant to help deliver the next generation of Westeros Royalty he will see is it as the greatest honor," Caishen answered.

Tyrion when to ask a question when a knock sounded on the door. Aegon looked at Joanna and then back at the group. She took a sip of her ginger tea. She was letting him take the lead. He knew that. He was a little worried about her sudden deference to him. He was worried that pregnancy was bothering her more than she would reveal.

"What is it," Aegon asked.

"A delegation from The Wall to see you and Her Grace," Ser Tygett yelled.

Joanna and Aegon's eyes went to each other. She rose to her feet. Tyrion noticed the look on Joanna and Aegon's faces. The delegation from Yi Ti other than Ser Triston Massey did not react to the news.

"What are Members of Night Watch doing this far south?" Ser Tristan asked.

"Let's find out" Joanna answered.

Kevan sat in his new office. He was over the paperwork. Trying to figure out Tywin's next plan. Ser Mandon Moore with Queen Janei came into his room. She was dressed in a dark red gown with golden embroidery of lions. Around her next was a large lion choker necklace. Ser Mandon bowed, leaving the Queen with her father.

"Your Grace, what can I do for you?" Kevan asked looking up from his paperwork.

Janei had tears in her eyes. She made sure the door was shut. She locked eyes with her father. Kevan noticed the look on her face.

"Did you realize what monster he is?" Janei questioned.

"What are you talking about," Kevan asked.

"The King," Janei screamed as pulling off her necklace.

Kevan's eyes went wide at the sight of his daughter's neck. It was mostly bruised to the point you could see fingerprints. It was blood red around the edges and nearly black at the center of the bruise. She sank to the ground by the fireplace tears pouring down her face. One of the sleeves of her gown fell off her shoulder revealing more bruises. Kevan came over to her kneeling by her and taking her shaking hands.

"Is there a chance you are with child?" Kevan asked trying to find a way to save his only daughter.

Janei gave him a shocked look. Tears poured down her pretty face. This was her father he was supposed to protect her. And all he seemed to care about was whether there was a possible heir in her belly now or not. Not the fact that was covered nearly head to toe in bruises. She nodded her head slightly. Tell him all he needs to know. He stood taking her with him. She gave him an unsure look.

"Once you are confirmed to be pregnant. Allow him to have his mistress and whores. You will be above them all. If this child is a son. It will put the end to his pretender claim," Kevan said placing his hand on her middle.

"He is still the King. He could kill me and not a single guard will stop him. And with Tywin gone, the only man that he seemed to fear, Father, baby or not I need out of this," Janei pleaded.

"Yes, he is the King, and you are the Queen think of the power you hold. Find a guard to protect you," Kevan advised.

Janei's mind went to Joanna, whom she had seen many times when she had visited Casterly Rock. They used to take their lessons together. She remembered how Joanna had sable boys whipped for causing Janei and Joy harm. She would protect her. She was sure of it. She remembered Joanna braiding her hair as they told each other stories from the North. Janei moved away from Kevan. Her mind went to this pretender. What if the rumors were true? That Joanna had claimed to be the rightful queen. If Joanna had married Aegon VI Targaryen. If she became with child a legitimate child of the union of Baratheon and Targaryen would have more claim to the Iron Throne than her child with Joffrey. When the question of Joffrey's parentage was loudly questioned. There was no doubt that Joanna was Robert's. She bared his coloring and had his temper. While Joffrey looked more like Queen Mother Cersei Lannister and her first cousin Ser Jaime. Janei calmed her emotions. She dried her tears. She looked at her father shaking her head. She had wanted to be queen but not like this. She would find a way out of this mess with or without her father's help. She would throw herself at Joanna's mercy. And pray to the seven that she would forgive her folly.

Arya stood next to Ned and Sansa. Sansa was speaking to Gendry about something. The throne room was filled with people. Joy was talking with Tyrek. Sarella and Valla were conversion. As Joanna, Aegon entered with a large group of Kingsguards. They were followed by Tyrion and Yi Ti delegation. Aegon motioned for Joanna to sit on the throne. She did so gracefully. He took up her right side. Tyrion came to stand on her left. Myrcella stood by Trystanne and Oberyn Martell.

"Show them in" Aegon ordered.

The doors opened and a party of members of Night Watch entered the throne room. Arya's eyes went wide when caught sight was what they were holding. She hit Ned's leg. He looked at her with a what look. He was shocked to see a party of Night Watch this far south.

"That Dark Sister" Arya whispered pointing to the sword that Member of Night Watch was carrying.

"You stand before, King Aegon of House Targaryen sixth of his name King of Andals, The Rhoynar, and The First Men. Lord Regent of Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm. The Unburnt and Father of Dragons. And Queen Joanna of House Baratheon first of her name. Queen of Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men. Lady Regent of Seven Kingdoms. The Unburnt and Mother of Dragons," Tyrion announced.

The members of Night Watch dropped to their knees with their heads bowed. Joanna and Aegon exchanged looks. Then Joanna's eyes went to Ned Stark's face. He had a shocked look on his face. It was truly odd for a member of Night Watch to come this far south and to Dragonstone and not Kings Landing to pick up new members.

"Please rise, good Sers. You have served the realm well. But why have you come to Dragonstone?" Joanna questioned.

The members of Night Watch rose to their feet. One of them stepped forward. The Kingsguard's hands went to their swords. The man was on the larger size. He had broad shoulders. Ned remembers the man well he was Lord Wyman Manderley's younger brother. The man had full bread that used to be red hair now it was mostly white and shades of grey. He removed a scabbard from his side. Joanna looked at Aegon. He had a brave look on his face. But it was clear he recognized that sword. It was Dark Sister, Queen Visenya's Valyrian steel sword.

"My Queen, My King after Maester Aemon informed Lord Commander Joer of your marriage. He dispatched me from East Watch to return. The Lost Targaryen blade goes back to the Targaryen family. It was found North of the Wall during Robert's Rebellion beyond the Wall. We waited to see who would win before we returned it to the ruling family. Once your father won, knowing his hatred for the Targaryens, we did not want such a precious item to be destroyed. The Targaryens have returned to the ruling family. It perfect for us to return it to you, Your Graces," Coren Manderly explained.

Joanna took Aegon's hand squeezing it. He looked down at her. They locked their eyes. It was like the rest of the group left the room. Only Joanna and Aegon were there. Joanna had a ghost of a smile on her face. Her other hand went to rest on her belly. He returned the smile. They were thinking the same thing. In time, their child may weld that sword.

"Issa dārys, se egros iksos aōhon gūrogon ziry (My King, The Sword is yours take it)" Joanna told Aegon.

Aegon stepped forward the Kingsguard parted as their King came down. Tyrion looked at Joanna oddly as she smiled as Aegon drew Dark Sister. He ran his hand on the blade. Prince Oberyn had tears in his eyes watching his nephew hold his ancestral sword. It was like him holding Blackfyre for the first time. Arya had looked gracing her face. She dreamed of seeing Dark Sister in person.

"Kirimvose, thank you all for returning a piece of our history," Aegon yelled.

Aegon put the sword back in its sheath. He walked back to Joanna. He placed the sword in her hands. She looked up at him oddly. He leaned down kissing her softly.

"Zōbrie mandia iksos aōhon, hae Visenya istan mēre hen ēlī dāria hen vesteros. Ao issi se ēlī dāria isse zȳhon own paktot. Ziry iksos mērī paktot bona ao emagon zȳhon egros. (Dark Sister is yours, as Visenya was one of the first Queens of Westeros. You are the first Queen in her own right. It is only right that you have her sword)." Aegon whispered. Joanna shook her head as she looked up at him. Everyone in the room was silent as they communicated silently. Tyrion caught every other word that Aegon said to Joanna. His Valyrian was not great. Finally, Joanna closed her eyes nodding her head. Aegon turned to the crowd. "Tonight, we will feast to celebrate the return of Dark Sister to the Targaryen family and the alliance with Yi Ti," Aegon announced loudly.

Daenys sat on a lounger on a balcony of King Viserys III's chamber. She was dressed in a mint green sheer silk gown with golden dragon scales claps holding the gown closed. Her one hand rested on her belly. The other was on the dragon egg. That Viserys had placed there. It was to be for her son. She knew that the child would not be a boy but rather a daughter. She looked over her shoulder and saw Viserys talking to Jorah.

"So, tell me again what happened, Ser Jorah," Viserys asked.

Jorah looked over to her. She turned back to look over to the water gardens. He looked back quickly. She took a sip of the tonic that healers provide her. Jorah took a deep breath choosing not to reveal that she was holding the dragon egg when the vision happened.

"She suddenly stumbled with a far-off look in her eyes. She went ghostly pale. She went to pass out. I caught her before she hit the floor. She was trembling from head to toe. She would not answer her grace, my queen, or her name. At that point, she was murmuring about a fire that consumed the world. I had the servants get you at once," Jorah answered.

"Thank you, for your quick action. When I retake my throne, you will be pardoned," Viserys told him.

Jorah bowed to him. Daenys shook her head Viserys would never be the king to sit on the Iron Throne. She knew this. A pair of true dragons stood in his way. She prayed to R'hllor that he would not die in the process.

"I only wish to serve the true king," Jorah said his eyes meeting Daenys.

Viserys came over to Daenys. He was not paying attention to Jorah. The image of a young girl with orange golden horns in a sun ray pattern dragon with copper eyes at side her of a boy with cerulean eyes and black hair with a large emerald dragon with burning copper eyes. They seemed to be happy. They were in Volantis. She recognized that much. Viserys placed his hand on her shoulder gently. Her pale lilac eyes went up to meet his violet eyes.

"Daenys what did you see," Viserys asked.

Daenys looked up at him for a moment taking a deep breath. She turned her head looking back at the water gardens. He took a seat on the edge of the lounger. Daenys took a deep breath and turned back to watch his face.

"I saw a huge resting black and yellow dragon. They were asleep in a raging storm. Suddenly, a stag appeared in the middle of the storm. It was shot through the heart. As the stag fell, the dragon's eyes snapped open and took flight. I saw all of Westeros burning in black and gold flames. Then the dragon turned its eyes to the east. I saw all of Essos fall in black and gold flames. Finally, the dragon landed by a red castle and morphed into a woman with curling black hair her eyes were blue-green. She ascended steps to a throne made from swords. She sat on the throne made of swords with a man who looked similar to you only he was younger than you, only he was taller. He wore a three-headed dragon on his doublet with a pin that looked like a sun with a spear through it. As they clasped hands the echoing roars of dragons were heard," Daenys told him.

Jorah's eyes went wide at the description of the woman from her vision. He knew instantly who this woman was. It met only one description of Princess Joanna Baratheon, King Robert's daughter. The pin with the sun and spear was a symbol of the House Martell. And the man that looked similar to Viserys. Jorah went ghostly pale when he realized who the man was. That could only be one person. Viserys III's nephew, Aegon VI Targaryen son of Elia Martell and Rhaegar Targaryen.

"Dragons, how many?" Viserys asked.

"20 of them. There is more," Daenys spoke softly.

"What else is there," Viserys asked.

"Banners litter the ground to the throne some burnt others whole. There was a flayed man was burnt, a banner of two blue towers was burnt with a golden banner of a black-crowned stag over top of it. Banners that depicted direwolf, falcon, lion, and a golden rose sat closer to the throne," Daenys said.

"Twenty dragons how in Seven Hells is that possible," Viserys asked.

"There could be more," Daenys said with far off sound to her voice.

Jorah locked eyes with Viserys. Viserys looked at his wife in shock. Seven Hells, he had a dragon dreamer before him. But dreams did not make them kings, dragons did. And now she told him that a Baratheon. That was the only explanation for the black and yellow color of the dragon and the image of a stag. A Baratheon would sit on the iron throne with twenty dragons at her back. That woman had to be Robert's daughter. The man looked like he had to be Aegon his nephew or an imposter. Jorah caught a look in Daenys eyes when she looked at Viserys. It was like she was looking at a dead man.

Joanna sat at the high table in the center of a feast. She was sipping on apple wine. She was dressed in a black and red brocade gown. The brocade fabric had images of lions, stags, and three-headed dragons in the design. The gown had a boat neckline. Around the neckline were large golden medallions with images of the sigils of all the high lords of the Seven Kingdoms. The sleeves of the gown were form-fitting with black satin fabric. Her large ruby ring was front in center on her finger. She had the White Hart crown resting on her brows. Aegon was laughing with Oberyn and some of Reach lesser lords. He was dressed in a red doublet with dragon-scale leather accents. He had black pants and boots, Blackfyre hung off one side of his hip while Dark Sister was on the other. He had his crown from Dorne on. He laughed at something Oberyn said. Joanna smiled taking a bite of the boar that served. Her eyes traveled around the room. She spied Marleina talking with Ned. Marleina was dressed in a dark blue southern-style gown. Her hair was styled in a twisted northern hairstyle. They were likely getting to know one another and discussing the north and the upcoming wedding between his son and her. Lyarra stood nearby. She was dressed in a dark purple southern-style gown. She stood near Jaime. Jaime looked better than when she last saw him. Joy was dancing with Tyrek. They were clearly in love with one another. Jeyne was happily conversing with Willas Tyrell. He seemed to be hanging off every word she said. Valla was talking to Sarella. Shaelle was dancing with Alyn Estermont. Just as Myrcella was dancing with Trystanne. Sansa was dancing happily with Gendry. Arya was over with Obara, Tyene, and Nymeria. Her new heroes. Elaena was talking with Tyrion. Lord Ardrian came over to his daughter. Joanna caught Tyrion's eyes as Elaena walked away from him. Tyrion came over to her taking the seat next to her.

"You seem quite taken with my lady-in-waiting" Joanna commented.

"Elaena and I are courting," Tyrion told her.

Joanna looked over at him in shock. She knew he had the habit of taking lovers and having whores. But to be court anyone of them was unheard for him. She took a sip of her wine. Tyrion caught her look. She for a moment reminded him of his sister. She looked back to the crowd as cheer went up. She smiled at the sight. Tyrion watched her. She was still acting oddly.

"What was today about, Your Grace," Tyrion asked.

" I have no idea what you are talking about, My Lord Hand," Joanna countered.

She looked at him briefly before going back to her meal. Tyrion stared at her. He shook his head.

"Joanna, I know for a fact that my father taught you negotiation skills," Tyrion told her.

"Did he," Joanna stated coldly. Her eyes finally locked on Tyrion. Her eyes were cold and hard. She looked around the room briefly, her eyes landing on each of the high lords present. Tyrion followed her gaze. He was unsure what was going on with her. "Aegon speaks Yi Tish, isn't smarter and better for them to state their demands in their native tongue," Joanna asked.

"It is, but the woman I saw in that room was not you," Tyrion countered.

Joanna's hand strayed to her belly. Thinking about the life she wanted for her child. She wanted to be more involved with their lives than her mother or father were truly in her or her siblings' lives. Tyrion looked at her as she thought about the child that now rested in her womb.

"Perhaps it is a side of me, uncle," Joanna told him. Tyrion shook his head. Joanna took his hand stopping him from arguing with her. She licked her bottom lip before she continued. "Me and Aegon are equals. Not one of us is higher than the other. Yet almost every man in this room treats his words like they have no weight. They look to me before they act. The meeting with Yi Ti shows the rest of the world, that the Targaryen family has returned to power. They saw us together, Uncle. It shows them I respect him and truly see him as my equal," Joanna stated.

Tyrion let her word hang in the air. He knew that there was more to it but he did not want to pry. But the more he thought of it what she said was true. Her playing the meek little wife gave Aegon more power. She squeezed his hand. It brought his green eyes back to her blue-green eyes. There was fear in her eyes.

"He is your king just as I am your queen. There will come a time when I, need you and the rest of our council to not just defer to me, but to him," Joanna explained.

"What happened?" Tyrion asked.

"When Renly was murdered, I let my temper get the best of me. I wrote letters to most of the Seven Kingdoms' high lords. The ones who are on our side were informed of my uncle's death and Prince Gendry's new title. And the others, I gave them a choice. Bend the knee or burn," Joanna explained.

"Joanna," Tyrion started.

"I also wrote to Joffrey, mother and grandsire. Joffrey's letter informed him I would take my throne back. And I would have my throne or his head, the choice was his. Mother, I wrote and pretty much disowned her. So, what I do next cannot be called Kinslaying. Grandsire, I gave two weeks to show here and bend the knee. I don't know if he will or not. But I am too close to him to be impartial. The crimes he has committed against Aegon's family are huge," Joanna confessed with tears in her eyes.

"You won't be sitting in judgment for your Uncle Stannis or The Red Woman trials, are you?" Tyrion asked.

"No, I can't. I will be there when the punishment is carried out," Joanna explained.

Joanna looked out at the crowd. Tyrion looked at her for a long moment. He took in her every detail of her face. His mind went over her every action in the meeting. The only time she acted like herself was when she accepted the lady in waiting from Yi Ti and a midwife from Yi Ti. The candlelight illuminated her face. Aegon looked at her with a worried expression. She smiled at him. They shared a secret look on their faces. Her other hand went to cradle her middle. She had a glow about her that seemed to come from inside.

"You are pregnant," Tyrion said finally realizing what she was hiding.

Joanna turned to look at him. She nodded her head. Tyrion took her hand squeezing it. The fear in her eyes and the change in her now made perfect sense.

"If Maester Jurne is correct I have been since the Wall. I will begin to show likely soon. I have not told Aegon yet, but I fear I may carry more than one. Ceseri is a twin and I and Gendry are twins. Caraxes and Gaelithox are closer to me than Aegon. They are protective like Vhagar is. I have ridden Vhagar. She is my mount, my dragon. The only reason I can think for them to be like Vhagar with me, is currently, I am carrying their riders in me. Twins are more dangerous than single babes. And every pregnancy is a danger for a woman. Now, you understand why I need you and the rest of them to see him as the King and me as consort or us as equals," Joanna confessed.

"You will not die. We will find the best midwives and maesters for your care. And if know father, no money will be spared for your heir and you. He will be damned if he lost the second coming of his wife," Tyrion told him.

Joanna took a sip of her wine. Her eyes locked on Oberyn and Aegon. They were laughing.

"Will Grandsire live if he comes here," Joanna muttered.

"He will come here, Joanna," Tyrion told her.

"I may have led him to his death. Oberyn and the Martell will demand his head for Elia's death," Joanna said.

"Aegon will not risk you at this time. And the death of your grandsire who raised you. Who you love. Could cause you to miscarry his heir. For that reason alone, he will keep him alive. If Aegon is half as much of a diplomat as you claim, he is. He will see that Tywin being on our side is an advantage. Maybe I can even talk him into giving the Martell's Elia's real murder," Tyrion explained.

"The Mountain, he never ordered Elia's death. The children yes, to strengthen my father's claim on the throne. You know at the end of the day; my father would never order their deaths. And I understand why the grandsire did it. And I am so glad he partially failed," Joanna said.

"I'm sure you are," Tyrion said.

Joanna got up. The music stopped as she did so. She motioned for the music to continue. She made her way down to Aegon. Aegon wrapped his arm around her with a smile on his face. Tyrion watched as Aegon and Joanna walked to the center of the dance floor. They began to dance. He knew his father would be very pleased with this match. And the fact that she was pregnant would solidify the union between the two sides. The ones that supported Rhaegar would have Aegon and the ones that supported Robert would have Joanna. This child or children would be the representation of that union.

Joanna lay on the bed in her and Aegon's shared chambers. She was nude on the day she was born. Her long black hair tumbled down her back. A red sheet covers her up to her mid-back. The fur lay on her feet. Meraxes laid by the fireplace. The chest that housed the three new dragon eggs rested near the fireplace. Aegon came over to her. He was dressed in a black dragon-scale doublet with black leather pants. He had a cloak of red velvet with black fox fur on the neck and bottom of it. The cloak was held in place by the copper sun with a spear sticking through acting as a clasp. He had Blackfyre strapped to his waist. He sat on the edge of the bed. He leaned down kissing her softly.

"Are you sure you are all right?" Aegon asked concerned.

"My stomach is a little upset but I'm fine as is our little hatching," Joanna replied as she sat up. The sheet was pulled up to cover her breast. Aegon's hand went to her belly which had a slight swell to it. She leaned over kissing him. Their eyes locked lovingly. Her hand goes over the top of his own. "Thank you, for doing this again?" Joanna said softly.

"We are equals. There is no need for you to relieve yourself of the task. Go, take your ladies and your young cousin to the beach. I will handle this. You will be present when the punishment is doled out," Aegon told her.

Joanna's hand went to his chin. She looked at him with a smile on her face. She took in his appearance. She kissed him again. Aegon returned the kiss until the need for air overrode everything. They rest their foreheads together.

"You look so handsome. Issa dārys (My King), but you are missing something" Joanna said coyly.

Joanna got up from the bed uncaring about her nudeness. She walked over to her vanity where the White Hart crown rested. Aegon's eyes followed her bottom as she moved. His pants tightened. She took the crown in her hands. She moved to head back over to him. He met her halfway to the bed. She looked up at him coyly. His hands went around her middle. He had a smirk on his face. She reached up placing the crown on his head. She let her hands go around his neck as she kissed him. He pulled away from her as he felt an unfamiliar weight on his head. She had a coy smile on her face as she took him in.

"Now you look like a King. Issa dārys, issa valzȳrys, issa jorrāelagon (my king, my husband, my love). Joanna told him lovingly.

Joanna's hands slipped down from his neck. They traveled down his chest. He caught her hands. He gave her a look. She raised her eyebrow questioningly. He kissed her deeply. When they pulled apart.

"It is your crown," Aegon told her.

"It's our crown. I had it made for my father. Many of the High Lords see you as nothing more than my consort. The White Hart bowed to both of us. You wearing the crown I was crowned with at father's death will show them and the world we are equals," Joanna said with tears welling up in her eyes thinking of her father.

"I love you," Aegon told her.

"And I you, my dragon" Joanna replied.

Author Note: Hope you all like it. I have tried to make Aegon a stronger character and more King-like not like a Kingsguard or consort. I hope Joanna being aware of how the Lords see her and Aegon makes sense. And her playing demure and weak makes sense. Let me know how you think the three new eggs will hatch. And What Aegon reaction to Tywin coming to Dragonstone will be?
