I own nothing

The early morning sky was painted with an array of colors. Aegon stood in stark contrast. He was dressed in all black. His silver-blonde hair was pulled back in a black leather tie. He had Blackfyre strapped to his waist. Joanna stood by his side. Her hair was pulled back in intricate braids and twists that hung down her back—the hairstyle more like the ones that Targaryen and those of Valyrian descent wore than that of the hairstyle of Baratheon or Lannisters. The gown she wore was a high-neck turtleneck. The closure of the top of the turtleneck was a dark golden three-headed dragon—the sigil of the Targaryen family. The top of the gown was golden in color and tight fitting. It had a keyhole opening right above her breast. The golden fabric was sewn in a way that looked like dragon scales. The top of the gown came down to about her hips on bias. The swell of the small baby bump was visible. The gown's skirt was silky flowy black fabric with golden scales sewn into the hem that touched the ground. She had a belt that held Dark Sister on her hip. Tywin was standing off to side dressed in Lannister colors with Jaime at his side. Tyrion was dressed in the same colors only he had the Hand of the King pin, pinned to his doublet. Ned stood in Stark in his house colors. Gendry stood near Ned in Baratheon colors. Trystanne near Gendry in his house colors.

The prisoners were dragged out to Dragonmount. They were all three in irons. Melisandre stood next to Stannis with a smug look on her face. Thinking her god would save her. The mountain surrounded my Dornish soldier with spears that were laced with poisons. They were ready to react. His eyes looked at Tywin in shock. The only one of the prisoners that had accepted their fate was Lord Stannis. His eyes looked pleading at Joanna. There was a block in front of the royal pair. The Kingsguards stood at the ready. Aegon nodded his head for Stannis to bring forward. Stannis moved on his own accord forward. He bowed to both of them at the waist. Before, he dropped to his knees by the block. He was close enough that his head would overhang the block but not so close that his neck would be too over the block. Aegon moved so he was parallel with the block. He drew Blackfyre rest the tip of the Valyrian steel sword on the hard stone of the Dragonmount.

"I, Aegon of House Targaryen sixth of his name King of Andals, The Rhoynar, and the First Men. Lord Regent of the Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the realm. Sentence you to die for your crimes Lord Stannis of House Baratheon. Do you have any last words?" Aegon pronounced.

Stannis' eyes locked on Joanna. He remembered the joyful little wild doe that was so excited to meet his infant daughter. In her place was a stoic mask over her beautiful face. The only hint of that little girl was in her blue-green eyes. Her hand was on the small swell of her baby bump.

"My Queen, sweet niece. I know I do not deserve it, but I plead for your forgiveness. I was so wrong. I was blinded by others. I know that is no excuse for what I have done. I undermined you. I had my brother murdered. But worst of all I betrayed you when you needed me the most. I know you came to me looking for allies and I put the crown on your head at your father's death. I should have been your greatest ally in your grief instead I work against you. I hope you will take in my daughter in my absence. With you to guide her I'm sure she will become the brilliant young woman she was born to me like you are," Stannis said looking at Joanna.

Joanna's eyes locked on his eyes. There was forgiveness in her eyes. Silent tears fell from her eyes. He placed his head over the block and then put his arms out. He accepted his death with honor. Aegon brought Blackfyre down removing his head from his body in one stroke.

"Kostagon Balerion mazōregon ao, kepus," Joanna whispered (May Balerion accept you, uncle).

The guards moved to remove his body with great care and respect. Aegon moved, cleaning off his sword, and came to stand by Joanna. Stannis's body was wrapped in a Baratheon cloak and placed on an altar. The three dragon eggs from Yi Ti were placed around Stannis's body. It was a last-minute decision by Aegon and Joanna. They felt it was only right. They could only think that the fourteen flames told them to. Soldiers threw down fresh hay to soak up the blood. Lord Stannis's head was placed on the altar with his body. He was a traitor to the crown, but he also was Joanna's uncle. Putting his head on a spike would change anything. The only ones that did not witness would soon burn. So, what was the point of displaying the Queen's uncle's head on a spike? Aegon nodded his head and motioned for the Mountain to be brought up. Ser Sandor's hand grip on his sword tightens. The Dornish soldiers dragged him forward. The block had been removed which shocked Oberyn. Aegon motioned for the Dornish soldiers to clear the area. All of the men stepped back. So, only the Mountain stood alone. Aegon's hand rested on Blackfyre while his other hand squeezed Joanna's hand. They look like the very image of a king and Queen, neither of them having a crown or any real symbol of power on their person. Joanna stepped slightly forward. Her eyes were cold.

"Ser Gregor Clegane you are sentenced to die. For the crimes you committed against House Targaryen and Martell. For the rape and murder of Princess Elia Martell and the murder of an infant only moons old," Joanna announced.

"I did that under your grandsire's orders, sweetheart," Ser Gregor spat out condescendingly.

"My grandsire never ordered you to rape or murder Princess Elia Martell. He only ordered you to kill Rhaegar's children. I am delighted you failed. But that does not forgive the brutality you used to do so. It was unnecessary and the fact that you used that same brutality against your brother shows you cannot be trusted. Or worthy of knighthood. So, I Joanna of Houses Baratheon and Targaryen first of her name. Queen of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men. Lady Regent of the Seven Kingdoms remove your knighthood. You are just Gregor of House Clegane," Joanna growled letting her dragon-like rage show.

"You cannot…" Gregor started to say but was cut off by Aegon's cold harsh voice.

"I, Aegon of House Targaryen sixth of his name King of the Andals, the Rhoynar and First Men. Lord Regent of Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the Realm sentenced to die. I would ask you if you have any last words," Aegon spat out.

"I am glad I killed your bitch mother. She was good fuck when she was screaming…" Gregor started to spout off

He was cut off by Stormsroar landing in a rush. The ground rattled. All the men who were not dragon ridders dropped to their knees minus Gregor and Melisandre. Aegon's face had transformed from one of calm to one of pure rage and dragon fire. Tywin eyed Stormsroar. He looked like he was bigger than Vhagar. He almost looked like Balerion the Black Dread come again. Stormsroar bit Gregor in half before he moved his body around Aegon and Joanna. There was a watchful look in his violet eyes as he looked at the large group of men. He roared it echoed overhead. Vhagar swooped down landing next to Joanna. She nuzzled Joanna's side. It was clear that Stormsroar was larger but not by much. Vermithor flew close to Gendry but not too close. Caraxes and Gaelithox are looped down by Joanna and Aegon's heads. Aegon looked at Joanna. Before, he nodded to soldiers to bring out Melisandre.
Melisandre was brought before the dragons both real and Aegon and Joanna. She looked up at them defiantly.

"I Aegon of House Targaryen sixth of his name King of Andals, The Rhoynar and First Men Lord Regent of Seven Kingdoms and Protector of the realm Sentence you to die, "Aegon stated.

"I Joanna of houses Baratheon and Targaryen first of her name. Queen of the Andals, The Rhoynar, and First Men. Lady Regent of Seven Kingdoms sentence you to die for the treason you committed to my family. Do you have any last words," Joanna asked.

"The lord of light willed me to do this," Melisandre stated.

"Se āeksio hen ōños iksos nykeā pirta Jaes, Kostagon fourteen perzyssy gūrogon ao ( The Lord of Light is false god, May the fourteen flames take you)" Aegon growled out in perfect High Valyrian. His eyes briefly looked at Joanna. Their eyes met, they communicated with their eyes. "Dracarys" Aegon and Joanna ordered.

The Red flames of Stormsroar and black flames of Vhagar met on Melisandre. Melisandre thought the flames would not burn her since she worshipped the fire god. But soon she was consumed by the flames. They watched with cold eyes as she burnt until she was ash. Stormsroar took off into the sky. Vhagar stayed close. Knowing she had another job to do.

"You can depart from here if you wish to. Aegon and I will be burning my uncle's body in accordance with the Fourteen Flames of Old Valyria," Joanna announced.

Most of the Lords remained. There was silence on the Dragonmount. Aegon wrapped his arm around Joanna. She bowed her head for a long moment. Tywin walked over to her other side. He also placed his hand on her back. Gendry stood on the opposite side of the altar. Joanna's blue-green eyes tears were in her eyes. Gendry's eyes then went skyward to where the dragons were circling and looping. His eyes locked on Vermithor. Vermithor caught Gendry's stare. He paused midair.

"Dracarys" Gendry said softly pointing at the altar.

Yellow flames soon engulfed the altar. Joanna looked over to Gendry mouthing the words thank you. The yellow flames were joined by bright orange flames that came from Silverwing. Then the rest of the dragons joined in engulfing the flames in a riot of colors that mirrored the sky. After a time, a sound of cracking reached Joanna and Aegon's ears. They looked at each other in shock. They were the only ones who heard dragon eggs hatching before. The altar was still engulfed in flames. Joanna stepped closer to the altar shaking off Tywin's hand. Aegon followed her. She looked skyward.

"Kirimvose, Aegarax," Joanna and Aegon muttered.

Joanna and Aegon both went to stick their arms into the still-raging fire. Oberyn and Tywin both stepped closer with a worried look on their faces.

"Aegon," Oberyn cried at the same time as Tywin called. "Joanna"

Joanna looked over at Tywin with a smile on her face. She stuck her hands into raging flames. She pulled out a newborn golden dragon. It looked like its scales were liquid gold with pearl-like wing membranes and horns. It had piercing blue eyes that reminded Joanna of her father's eyes. It was a long-bodied dragon more like stories from Yi Ti of dragons than stories from Old Valyria. Aegon pulled out two newborn dragons from the flames. One was purple with orange waves marking along its long body. It too was like the dragons from Yi Ti and not Valyria. Its eyes were periwinkle in color. The last baby dragon was long-bodied like the other two again looked like the stories from Yi Ti than Valyria. The last was intense dark blue on his head was a crown of black horns. Its eyes were reddish orange. Neither Aegon of Joanna were hurt by the flames. The baby dragons let out a cry that was echoed by the dragons overhead.

"Now you realize why they are called the Unburnt," Tyrion said to Tywin.

"They worship the fourteen flames?" Tywin asked Tyrion.

"From what Joanna told me they saw them they were who hatched the dragons. Since that moment I believe Joanna has put her faith in them. She honors the other religions as she always has. But before this even a not devout follower of Seven. You raised her the same way. For her to turn from them means whatever saw in that cave and on Dragonmount changed her," Tyrion explained.

Kevan was getting ready for the day when a knock sounded at the door. He turned toward the door.

"Enter" Kevan called.

"A Raven from Talisa my Lord Hand," The soldier told him with the letter in hand.

"Talisa" Kevan questioned moving forward to take the letter.

The soldier bowed, leaving Kevan. Kevan took the letter and waved the soldier off. He looked the letter over. He finally found the seal which was a tiger. He tried to place the name Talisa. He came back with nothing. Then as he stared at the tiger flash of foreign family. They had tiger pins and closures on their clothes. They were at Joanna's eight and ten name day ball. Could one of them be named Talisa? The image of a foreign maiden about Joanna lingered in his mind. He broke the tiger seal and read the letter. As he read the letter his smile deepened. It turned out that Tywin did not leave him with anything. He had at least three allies for Joffrey cause well now two but one was now dead. He was not happy about the death of Roose Bolton and Ramsey Snow. They could have been useful. But that was too late now. He did not want to think how Joanna had found out about the traitors to alert Robb Stark. For if he thought about it for long, it would tell him that Tywin was on Joanna's side. And that she likely knew all the traitors. And just because she did not act on the Frey betrayal or Talisa did not mean she would not. Kevan sat down at the table. He had letters to write.

"My Lord Hand, the queen dowager wants to know if you are coming to breakfast," a soldier asked.

"Tell the Dowager Queen I have some business to take care of" Kevan answered.

Naella and Arianne were lounging together in the gardens. They had begun a secret relationship. They were cuddled up together. They were feeding each other pieces of fruit. They were both dressed in Volantis's style. Naella was dressed in pale blue while Arianne was dressed in an orange gown. Daenys came into the gardens. She was dressed in Volantis's style gown that started red and darkened to black on the bottom. It had goldened three-head dragon pins closing the gown at her shoulder. Her silvery blonde hair hangs loosely around her shoulder. She was looking for her Naella. Naella sat up went she saw Daenys enter the gardens. She left her lover's embrace. She moved over leading Daenys back over to lounger. She knew that Daenys had seen something. Arianne sat up looking over to Daenys as she popped a grape into her mouth.

"Daenys what did you see?" Naella asked.

"Another dragon is hiding near the Iron Throne. And if it joins the others the world will burn," Daenys explained.

"That's impossible there are no other dragons left other than Aegon. And we already know about him," Arianne started. Naella looked over her with a real look. Daenys was nearly breaking down. Naella watched as Arianne's face transformed when she realized something. "Unless, but that's impossible. She was murdered by Ser Armoy Locke. Stabbed numerous times when Robert took the throne," Arianne finished.

"Who?" Daenys asked.

"Princess Rhaenys Targaryen Aegon's older sister and your husband's niece," Arianne answered.

"Aegon is his nephew?" Daenys questioned whether this was news to her.

"Yes, and technically Joanna and her father Robert are and were his cousins," Arianne said putting another grape in her mouth.

"And Aegon is with Joanna?" Naella asked.

"Do they know about Rhaenys?" Daenys asked.

"I don't know but I know someone who may" Arianne answered both.

Rhaenys stood next to Iron Throne with Janei. They were on their way to breakfast. Janei was dressed to look like Lannister Queen. While Rhaenys was dressed in a simple red gown. Her dark hair was pulled back in twists to keep her hair out of her face. The rest of her hair was down in loose waves. Rhaenys walked behind Janei like she truly was her ladies' maid. Cersei looked up when Janei entered with Rhaenys behind her. She eyed Rhaenys.
"How was your sleep cousin?" Cersei asked, motioning for Janei to sit.

"Well, my queen," Janei answered.

"Who is this?" Cersei asked motioning to Rhaenys.

"Rhae is ladies' maid from Lannisport. She has been my maid for years. Father had brought her here. She just arrived yesterday," Janei answered.

"You are truly a beauty my dear," Cersei said.

"Thank you, Your Grace," Rhaenys answered.

Aegon, Joanna, rest of the commanders stood around the painted table. The golden dragon had taken a likely to Myrcella. She now rode on Myrcella's shoulder. She had named the young dragon Phoenix. The dark blue dragon was named Nymeros for the Martell family. The final baby dragon was called Dreamwave for its wave-like markings. They were looking at the marker on the table. Tywin walked over to markers in the Vale.

"And news on the Vale in all of this. Not that we need them you have enough men to win this war now not to mention the dragons," Tywin asked.

"No news yet" the Maester answered.

"They will answer me soon. I have little doubt and will side with me," Joanna answered coldly.

Tywin and most of the lords turned their eyes to her. She sounded so certain of that fact. Tywin knew the look on her face just like Aegon did. Aegon turned to look at her. She gave him a look. He took her hand squeezing it. It told her that he was with her.

"What did you do?" Tywin questioned her sounding more like Grandsire questioning his grandchild than lord questioning his ruler.

"What you taught me to do Lord Tywin. I wrote a letter to Lady Lysa and Lord Royce. The first one was simply threatening that if they did not answer I would bring the war to them. The letter to Lord Royce was more tactical out of Lord Stannis's playbook. Only while I have proof that Myrcella is my sister not the product of Jaime and Cersei. Being the dragon that has now claimed her. And the fact, that Myrcella looks like Argella. Robin Arryn simply looks nothing like either Lady Lysa Arryn or Lord Jon Arryn. I simply told Lord Royce that the boy looked eerily like Lord Baelish. And I found it concerning the amount of time Lord Baelish spent with Lady Lysa. I found it funny, knowing that my father may have been drunk but he never would have driven the crown to the brink of bankruptcy as Lord Stark and you Grandsire can attest to. I found it funny as how the crown got poorer our Master of coin got richer," Joanna explained.

"You are brilliant," Tywin said with a smile.

"How do you plan to hold the vale with Robin Arryn" Tyrion asked.

"If Lady Lysa Arryn does not surrender, I take Vhagar and take the Vale like Visenya did. Shireen will be married to the Lord of Vale of the right age. She will be Lady of Vale and her husband lord consort. If she does surrender, I will betroth Lady Shireen to Robin Arryn and place Robin Arryn in the wardship of Lord Royce," Joanna answered.

"Tomorrow, we make for Harrenhal and begin our trek north to Riverrun to join the rest of our army," Aegon stated firmly ending the conversation about the Vale.

A knock sounded at the door. Ser Barristan opened the door. He glared coldly at the soldier. The soldier was panting.

"Forgive me your graces, but flags of Lords of Vale have been spotted. They will be at our shores within the hour," The soldier told them.

"Call the court. We will grandly welcome them and show our power. And have another chair placed by the throne," Aegon ordered.

Author Note: I hope you like this chapter. I would love your thoughts on how Ser Armoy Locke should die. And what the Martell's reaction to Rhaenys being alive? And I could not help myself i did plan for the Mountain to be beheaded but having him bitten in half by a dragon just felt right. And showed Aegon's close bond with Stormsroar.
