Before starting off the chapter I just wanted to say thank you for all the support. Thanks for all the comments even the ones that say my story sucks, I appreciate you as well.

I know in the beginning I had a rough start with my wording but for everyone that gave me critiques and good/bad feedback, I have listened and tried to make the story more enjoyable to read.

Chapter 8 Mission Planning

The Next Day

A large knock can be heard from the door of Sirzechs office. "Come in." The door opens to reveal Anos walking in with his hands in his pocket, "Brother I have some information for you," Sirzechs who was signing some documents puts his pen and then looks up to his little brother noticing that his face seemed more serious than usual.

"Really because as you can see, I am very busy at the moment," says Sirzechs as he looks back down to sign the next document. Anos then takes the seat in front of him leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms.

"Brother the Fallen Angles are up to something," after saying this Sirzechs looks up from his writing position with his eyebrows raised. "Well, what did you find out?"Anos nods a little then say's, "it's not much but from what I have observed the fallen angles seem a little more aggressive than usual. They have attempted to kill our sister's new pawn two days in a row. So I think they may be up to something but I doubt their leader Azazel is involved. So this little group of fallen angles must be acting alone."

Sirzechs adopts a thinking pose while leaning back in his chair, "makes sense it does seem a little weird, do you know what type of sacred gear it is?" Anos nods slightly, "all I know is that it is a dragon type but it must be powerful if the fallen want him dead."

Sirzechs rubs his chin, "dragon type? If that is the case it could be a high-class sacred gear or God killing class and there are only two types of dragon types that are Longinus." Before Sirzechs could respond Anos speaks up cutting him off saying, "The boosted gear and the divine dividing?"

Sirzechs nods, "yes, to think that we might have this generation's red dragon emperor or white dragon emperor in our faction." "So what do plan on doing with the fallen angels?"

"Well from the reports that that Rias has sent me she seems to have the situation handled, which means she is probably making light of the situation. I feel like we are missing something. I need more information before I can act because this information could lead to a large conflict."

Anos perks up a little bit letting a dark grin come across his face, "I have a way of getting the formation but I may break a few of your rules." For the past 18 years, Sirzechs has come to learn the different grins that Anos makes and the one he is making now is the one that shows he is about to do something reckless.

Before Anos could say another word Sirzechs speaks first pinching his nose knowing his brother won't listen unless offered a better idea, "well I guess you have a plan just don't do something too outrageous." Anos shrugs standing up then teleports out the room, and Sirzechs just shakes his head then goes back to the stack of documents on his desk.

Transition to Serafall's Tv Studio

Anos appears in front of a pink and white building with Serafall on the side building in her Magical Girl uniform. The tv studio itself was four stories high with many windows on the first through third floors but none on the fourth. Which is where the tv studio itself was he assumed. Anos starts shaking his head preparing himself for his conversation with Serafall. He walks to the two double doors and opens them as he walks to the receptionist at the front desk.

"Hello sir welcome to magical ga…ga…ga…," but before she couldn't finish her statement after getting a closer look at the unmistakable man with red hair and just as red eyes with an almost completely black and red outfit with red and the unmistakable Gremory symbols on his shoulders.

Authors Note: If you are curious what his outfit looks like it's the same in the anime but instead of white it's black and where the blue is its red and misfit symbol is replaced by the Gremory symbol.

"It's you Lord Anos the magic prodigy of the Devil Society! How may I help you today? " Anos then smirks at the woman lifting his hand stopping her before she could bow out of respect. "No need to bow. "

The woman blushes a little bit at Anos words and stutters out a low voice and says his name again, "yes Lord Anos how can you help me….wait no I mean…how can I help you." Anos gives the lady a small smile to calm her nerves, "I am just here to talk Lady Leviathan about something important. "

"Yes Lord Anos let me see if she is available. " The receptionist sits back down and picks up the phone on her desk and it rings twice, "Hello Lady Levitation there is someone here for you…. Yes my lady I understand but it… Yes… Yes…It's Lord Anos."

Then suddenly the building shakes and Anos looks to the ceiling taking a few steps back with the ceiling shattering a few seconds after stepping back. The dust slowly clears with a woman in a magical girl outfit, "Anos you should have called I would have met you down here. "

Before Anos could answer her he leans to the left dodging her attempt her hug him. Serafall stomps her foot, "stop moving! " Anos chuckles giving her a teasing grin. "You may be strong Anos but you can't dodge forever." She longes again with Anos dodging to the left then to the right.

This goes on for about twenty minutes with Anos noticing that she would not give up and just letting her hug him. Serafall then embraces Anos in a bone-crushing hug then maneuvers herself onto his neck pointing to the ceiling saying, "now my magical boyfriend take your magical girlfriend to her office."

"Serafall I never agreed to be on your show and please stop saying we are dating people will get the wrong idea." Serafall swings her legs on his neck giggling to her self just saying, "come on hurry up Anos."

Anos just shakes his head knowing arguing will get him nowhere and starts to fly to the hole in the ceiling all the way to the third floor. Serafall flips off his neck giving him a full view of what's under her already short skirt landing on her feet then doing a cartwheel over the desk onto her chair, "now what can I do for you Anos, I hope this is about joining my show? Don't worry we have a good One-hundred year retirement plan. "

While finishing her statement she gives him a happy wink with a hopeful smile. Anos shakes his head no in disapproval saying, "I didn't come here to sign up for a job, and as far as I knew you had a twenty-year retirement contract."

Serafall looks away from him with gallons of sweet falling off her face then looks back and chuckles nervously, "we uhh…increased it recently." "Well that's beside the point, I came here to talk to you about something else."

Serafall gives him a cocky grin saying, "ohh you want something from me. Well if it's you Anos I won't refuse but it will cost you two favors." Anos unfazed by her antics just says, "fine," but deep down he knew what she was gonna ask when the time came.

Serafall takes a more serious demeanor noticing he seems more serious than usual, Anos continues noticing she is now taking him more seriously, "What can you tell me about Azazel the leader of the fallen angels?" Serafall adopts a thinking pose placing her hand under her chin, closing her eyes, and leaning back in her chair.

She then sits back up saying, "believe it or not that is kind of hard even though I have known him for a long time Azazel's personality is laid-back yet serious, while also wise and insane at the same time, I also heard that he has gotten into collecting things but I can't confirm this."

Anos nods understanding the very short description of the fallen, "so let me ask you this then if his collection addiction was real would he use it as an excuse to collect humans with sacred gears."

"Theoretically if it was part of his addiction then I don't see why he wouldn't." "So that means he wouldn't order his subordinates to kill humans with sacred gears."

Serafall shakes her head, "no he wouldn't. I'm sure you already know this but he is one of the biggest people against having another war. So he wouldn't do something to jeopardize that."

Anos hearing all this starts to think about the plan that coursing through his head and finally knows what he's going to do then, says, "let me ask you this then what if a fallen angel was killing a devil that wasn't a rogue and was acting on its own. How would Azazel handle this?"

Serafall raises her eyebrow at his very specific question, "honestly I could see him doing a few things but two stand out to me. One he would inform us and say they are acting alone giving us free rein to do what we want to them, or sending someone to bring them back to Gregory for harsh punishment."

Anos nods, "excellent that is everything I wanted to know." Serafall not even questioning why he was asking the information perks up with a happy smile, "Hey Anos I have some more questions about your world can you answer them for me?"

Anos closes his knowing he wants to start his plan as soon as possible but, relents thinking that it won't take long to answer a few questions.

{Four Hours Later}

Anos feels like he just did the world's longest interview, answering questions about random things, then to stuff that should be common sense. She even asked him to teach her different types of magic and Anos said another time then, she just started asking him for a demonstration on all the magic he used.

But that would be impossible to show her so he just showed her twenty spells. Which was a mistake because it opened the door for more questions. The sky was black by the time he had left her office. She even asked to spend the night since it was so late, but he declined knowing that Sona would lose her top if she found out.

Anos was currently in his room after teleporting from Serafall's studio than began to think over the idea he had been contemplating after talking to his brother. He walks to his dresser pulling out the bottom drawer picking up a black case about as long as his forearm.

Opened it and saw thirteen evil pieces but all of these pieces were mutation pieces. He thinks back to the time when he and Ajuka created the pieces, knowing that the devil almost passed out after never a full set of mutation pieces being created.

It may have helped that Anos used his magic to create them so that makes sense. Anos picks up a pawn piece inspecting it as if trying to find something then places it back down in the case. He then walks away to get ready for bed, "well this shall be interesting, even after I said I wasn't going to make a peerage."

The next day

It was early in the morning and Anos knew what he had to do. He got dressed and walked to the dining hall to eat breakfast with his parents as usual. But he sensed three other presences in the dining hall. Thinking to himself he says, "looks like the Phenex family is getting a little too aggressive, with this whole arranged marriage."

Anos walks to the dining hall greeting different maids and butlers on the way. Finally arriving at the door he opens it and sees both his mother and father, with both heads of the Phenex family sitting across from them with Riser sitting next to his mother.

The room got weirdly quiet when Anos walked in but he was already a herd part of the conversation on the way here. Riser who had arrogant look on his face just stared at Anos like he was looking at trash.

Anos ignored him knowing he need a thousand lifetimes before he could even think of changeling him. Ignoring Riser, Anos greets both his parents and both heads of the Phenex family.

He then takes his seat in front of Riser not even acknowledging his existence and begins a conversation with his father and mother. Riser angered by this doesn't bother saying Anos's name and just say's, "hey boy there is another person in this room are you blind or just plain stupid."

Anos pays him no mind not even acknowledging his existence and just continues to talk to his Risers father who was also ignoring his son's antics.

Riser raising his voice in rage stands knocking the chair he was sitting on to the wall, "you dare ignore Riser a member of the esteemed Phenex family. You are nothing, you don't even have the power of destruction like your sister, you on the other hand are nothing."

Anos looks to him and gives him a cocky grin saying, "ohh my Riser I didn't see you come in please take a seat we were just bout to have breakfast you should join us."

Riser's right eye twitches and his mother who was sitting next to him pulls his arm, "Riser you need to calm down Lord Anos is just messing with you. And Lord Anos would you please stop teasing our son he gets easily riled up easily. "

Anos looks to lady Phenex with his grin disappearing and says, "Apologies lady Phenex, it seems I took my prank too far. Also, may I ask where lady Ravel?" Lady Phenex adopts a mischievous grin trying to cover it up with her hand, "on my it appears that she is upset because you were supposed to come to her tea party but you never showed."

"With all due respect lady Phenex, she did tell me that she was having one but she also told me that she was going to send me an invite for when the tea party was but she never did. " Last Phenex starts chuckling to herself, "Oh my when I tell Ravel she is going to fave a fit."

Zeoticus who had been sitting in silence coughs getting everyone's attention, "I think that is enough chit-chat, I think it's about time we started eating." He claps his hands getting the attention of the maids who bring out the food. While eating Riser asks in an attempt to get a reaction out of Anos saying, "so how is Rias doing, I can't wait to make her mine?"

Anos shrugs, "can't say, haven't seen her since she left but Lord Lucifer tells us she is fine." Riser gives Anos a sadistic grin, "well maybe I should go check up on her to go make sure she is okay."

"That's up to you, but I wouldn't advise it since that territory isn't under your protection. So it could be seen as trespassing." Lord Phenex speaks up before Riser could utter a word and in a calm voice say, "you will do no such thing Riser, and if I found out you will suffer a harsh punishment."

Riser back downs apologizing to his father. Breakfast lasts for another hour with both families eating in silence and only making short conversations now and then. "Thank you for having us over Lord and Lady Gremory.

Also Lord Anos I will tell Ravel that she forgot to send you the invite I bet she will be banging her head against the wall, if that is all we will be off," Lord Phenex does this while giving a slight bow to both heads of the Gremory Family, the three-member of the Phenex family then teleport out of the Gremory mansion back to their home.

Venelana was smiling face with a tick mark on her head looks to her son who was standing next to her with a grin slowly forming on his face, "Anos it seems that I must inform you some more on proper edict again."

Anos chuckles, "yes mother but I need to go to Ajuka's there is something that I need to take care of." Before Anos could teleport away his mother grabs his hand looking up to him with an evil glint in her eye, "no you can go play with Ajuka later we are doing this now."

Anos a demon capable of killing gods could honestly say without a doubt that he that we would never want to get on his mother's bad side and at the moment he was slowly getting there after what he did at breakfast.

Anos looks to his father who nervously looks away knowing this is completely out of his hands. Anos sighs knowing there is no escape, "you're right, whatever I have to do with Ajuka I can do later." Venelana nods and pulls her son to the study so that they can have a very informative class on the proper action in front of other high-class devils.

Zeoticus who had been just standing there the whole time in silence chuckles to himself at the fact that Anos could have easily torn himself from his mother's grasp if he so desired and still left and they wouldn't have been able to stop him if they wanted.

Three hours later

"Now Anos now do you fully understand everything I just told you or do I need to go into depth on the history of 72 pillars and explain to you the importance of why you need to respect them," Venelana says this while smacking the board while looking at Anos with a face that says I will gladly continue if you say the wrong thing.

Anos just nods his head knowing that the easiest way out of this is to just nod his in understanding. "Good, you may now go play with Ajuka. Also, I don't know why but I feel like you are up to something so try not to get into any trouble."

Anos stands from his desk chair walking to his mother hugging and places a kiss on her forehead, "mother you know me I would never do anything to hurt our family." Venelana caught off guard by her son's sudden show of affection, hugs him back and says, "Anos please just don't do anything too crazy that's all I ask." Anos nods letting his mother go then teleports to Ajuka's laboratory.

Transition to Ajuka's Laboratory

Anos POV

After leaving my mother's intense seminar on proper devil edict, I teleport to Ajuka's laboratory with the mutated pawn piece in my pocket. I look to my left to see Ajuka bent overlooking into a box searching for something.

"Hey Ajuka what are you busy I need to talk to you?" Ajuka not even aware I was in the room jumps from suddenly hearing my voice, "Anos when did you get here, didn't I ask you not to teleport in my lab? "

I shrug, "I would have but I'm pressed for time and I am planning something so I need your help." Ajuka raises his eyebrow with a curious expression on his face, "what do you mean by you have a plan? What are you about to do?"

I chuckle slightly, "if my plan works out then nothing will go wrong. " Ajuka walks to a nearby chair gesturing me to take a seat, "okay Anos I trust wouldn't do anything that would cause problems for me. So I will hear you plan and decide whether or not I can help." I smile nodding and taking a seat crossing one leg over the other, and crossing my arms.

One hour later

Ajuka adopts a thinking pose after hearing my plan, "If what you said is true then your plan wouldn't be violating any rules, and you will have the backing of the four Devil Kings since you technically didn't break any rules. It just might not be well received by other devils but it should be fine in the end,"

I nod already expecting his reaction, "but there is one problem that arises and it has to do with your evil pieces. They aren't normal and they appear to have special properties and can affect those you give them to."

"Yes, you are right. Ones that take in my evil mutated pieces will gain the ability to use demon magic. So we don't know what new abilities they will awaken but I am confident I can keep them in check. So you should have worries about the devils in my peerage going rogue."

Ajuka nods, "so where are you going now?" I chuckle slightly, "I'm going to go check in with my rival." Ajuka tilts his head in confusion then realization comes to his eyes and smirks, "try not to piss her off too much."

Transition to the Kuoh Academy Student Council

In the student council room, two girls can be seen, one is standing in silence while the other sitting at a desk signing some documents. Then suddenly the girl sitting at the desk jumps up from her desk shaking her head.

Looking left and right then sighing, "president are you okay you look pale?" "I am fine Tsubaki I just felt a cold chill crawling down back."

Tsubaki who was standing in silence next to her king felt sorry for her since there are very few things in this world that could make her lose her composure, "are you sure everything is alright?" Sona messaging her head with sweet slowly falling down her head, "Tsubaki gather the peerage I feel something is about to happen. "

Tsubaki nods and just walks out of the room not saying another word. Sona now alone in her room was unsure why she was feeling this way.

Four Hours Earlier

In the Phenex Estate, a lot of screaming could be heard coming from a certain girl's room. Currently, Ravel was turning her room upside down searching for a certain letter, "where is it I could have sworn I sent the letter to him."

At the moment Ravel was under her bed after pulling all the dresses out of her closet looking for the letter she thought she sent for her tea party. The door to her room opens and a gasp could be heard, "my Lady what happened to your room?"

Ravel pops up from under her bed, "good you are here help me look for the letter I was supposed to send to Anos." "Do you mean the invite for your tea party that he didn't show up to?"

"Yes now come and help me look." "My lady to my knowledge you never wrote the letter because you were too stressed out about planning and making sure everything went smoothly." Ravel was about to protest but stopped herself with her opening and closing mouth.

Then the realization comes to her eyes with small tears forming. Then she starts to pull her pigtails screaming out in disbelief, "how could I screw up something like that I bet he thinks I'm stupid now, and here I thought he was avoiding me. Hey, do you think he is mad that I didn't invite him?"

The maid who was standing there watching Ravel this whole time just sighs inwardly to herself, "As far as I know Lady Ravel. Lord Anos to me doesn't seem like the type of person to hold grudges. Also, I am sure if you are honest with him about what happened he will understand why you didn't send him the invite."

Ravel slowly starts to calm down, "you are right I should tell him what happened, I'm sure he will understand I know it? And I will tell him when I see him at the meeting, do you think I should give him a gift as an apology?"

"That is up to you my lady but what would you get him that he doesn't already have?" Ravel rubs chin her to think about what Anos would want as a gift. It's true Anos is from the Gremory Family so there isn't anything unique that she could give him.

She thought about buying him jewelry but she has never seen him wear any, she then thought about flowers but quickly dropped that idea since he didn't seem like the type to need flowers. Ravel then walks to her and sits on it to ponder more.

After the few times that she and Anos, she felt like she knew him but all she really knew was that he had created different spells on his own and had somehow learned other magics.

For a few minutes, Ravel sat on her bed going through different ideas but kept coming up short, then after a few minutes an idea starts to form, "you're right what is something that Anos would like but can't attain..."

Ravel's eyes widen while snapping her fingers signaling she had an idea, "I could give him my Phenex tears, and from what he told me he likes to research new things, and from what I know he hasn't studied Phenex Tears yet."

"My Lady would that be appropriate they are so valuable, there must be something else you could give him," but Ravel just shakes her head, "I don't know but for now this is the best I could come up with."

The maids nods in acceptance, "but my lady you haven't started your training yet on how to create your own, and isn't the meeting between your families coming up. Will you have enough time to learn how?"

Ravel then gets up from her eyes as they twinkle with determination, "I know and I plan to go ask mother to train me now," Ravel then makes her way to the heart mothers room to teach her, as the maid just sighs and looks back inside the room, "well I guess I shall clean this mess."
