Chapter 18: Let the Game Begin

One Hour Before the Game in the Old School Building

Rias had finished going over the plan with her peerage that had several ways that it could be altered on the spot depending on the spot. Issei then points to a point on the map, "president I don't think we need to destroy the gym? If Koneko does her job and depending on how Riser moves his pieces we can just leave the gym alone instead of destroying it completely."

Issei then looks up from the map to see everyone looking at him in surprise even Koneko's emotionless face showing even slight surprise. Issei nervously apologizes while rubbing the back of his head, "sorry for overstepping, I just thought it would allow Akeno to save her magic for fighting Risers queen."

If everyone's eyes weren't already wide they were now more so was Rias since what Issei said actually made a lot of sense, Rias then coughs to clear her surprise, "okay well I wasn't expecting you to say that and I definitely wasn't expecting for it to make sense."

Everyone nods in agreement while looking at them in surprise, Koneko playfully punches his legs and to the confusion he acknowledges her punching his leg. "Issei are you alright," Issei looks down to Koneko who was looking up at him with narrowed eyes, "yea I'm fine why do you ask."

"I just hit you and you didn't flinch," Issei nervously starts to sweat and grabs his side acting like she felt the pain, "oh yea I did but I tried to play it off," Koneko then sniffs Issei, "you smell weird, did you shower before coming here?"

Issei sighs in relief thinking his secret was going to get exposed, "why are you sighing Issei please go shower I don't want you stinking up my club room," says Rias as she sighs while pointing to the shower.

As Issei walks to the shower Ddraig speaks to him, "I told you to shower, you're lucky that you kings rook doesn't know the smell of dragons or your little secret would have been exposed. And another thing why are you keeping it a secret I'm sure you king would befit from knowing that you are now more dragon than human or devil now."

"Well, I would if we had more time Rias has been working hard on this plan of hers so adding another variable could throw it off plus when the time comes I think she will understand."

Issei then closes the curtain for the shower while continuing his conversation with Ddraig, "also I don't feel any more pain am I really okay," "yes partner you are lucky to be alive but yes the change to your body has been completed and evidence of this is how you didn't feel that Rook punch you in the leg. Also if it wasn't obvious your senses have improved it wasn't obvious by you noticing the slight flaw in your king's plan."

As Ddraig continues to list off the improvements to his host body everyone else in the room was talking about Issei's surprising comment on the plan, "well that was certainly surprising it seems some of your brother's smarts rub off on Issei, and am I crazy or is Issei taller and bigger than I remember " says Akeno as she chuckles to herself then glances to the shower.

Everyone then glances to the bathroom as Kiba speaks up, "yea he does seem taller than normal but bigger I don't know," Rias responds by rubbing her chin and saying, "maybe he got a growth spurt."

Asia then speaks under her breath but it was caught by everyone, "at first I thought he wasn't gonna be able to participate," Rias then raises an eyebrow in confusion, "what do you mean by that Asia?"

Asia covers her mouth and then glances at everyone staring at her in suspicion, "well this morning Issei was really sick, so sick that he couldn't get out of bed but just a few hours ago he seemed fine just like he told me so I thought nothing of it."

Rias then glances toward the bathroom and then back to Asia, "well he did go out training after I told him not to but if he is feeling okay now it sounds fine but could you check up on him when he comes out just to be sure."

Asia nods as Koneko now mumbles something under her breath that goes unheard by anyone, "did he really not feel my punch? I put a little force behind it and what was with that smell it wasn't a stench more like something primal."

Koneko started to think about the smell more it felt familiar but she couldn't place it, Kiba looks down t Koneko noticing that she seemed lost in thought. "Hey you okay you seem lost in thought," "it's nothing probably just overthinking," "don't stress about the rating game I am sure everything will go just as planned maybe even better," "that's not what I was thinking about."

30 minutes later

The Orc room was silent nothing because nobody had anything to say more like there wasn't anything left to say. Kiba was checking his sword, Koneko was checking her gloves one last time to make sure the traps were tight enough.

Akeno and Rias were sipping a cup of tea, and Issei and Asia were sitting in silence. It was almost time and everyone was anxious then the doors open grabbing everyone's attention, it was Sona and Tsubaki, Rias smiles slightly seeing, "hello Sona how may I help you," "hello Rias I just dropped by to wish you wish luck."

Issei then asks curiously as to why she is, "wow I didn't expect to see those two here what gives," Rias takes another sip of her tea before setting it down to answer Issei's question. "There is a live broadcast of the game being shown to close family members, and as to why Sona and Tsubaki are here because they are the ones in charge of the broadcast itself."

Issei and Asia nod understanding the brief explanation and a few seconds later Grayfia teleports into the room to inform Rias that everyone will be teleported to the game with the magic circle she brought.

After that Sona and Tsubaki leave leaving wishing Rias the best and leaving Grayfia alone, she was about to leave then remembered that Sirzechs and Zekram would be watching the game, "there is something I would to tell you the Great Devil Lucifer will be watching the game along with Lord Zekram Bael."

Rias moods shifts as her eyes fall slightly to the ground not because her brother was watching, it was due to the fact that the man in charge of this whole arranged marriage will be watching. "I see so my dear older brother along with Zekram Bael will be watching," Issei snaps his head to Rias, "wait you're telling me that your eldest brother is the devil."

But before Rias can answer the question she thought he already knew Kiba speaks up first, "no Rias brother is Lucifer King of the devils." Both Asia and Issei then jump in surprise at this new information while Rias nods confirming this and Kiba continues to explain the relation as well as to him not being the original Lucifer.

Grayfia then interrupts the conversation as a red magic circle appears in the room and the group walks onto it and teleports away one by one. When they arrive at the game there was a bit of confusion between Asia and Issei thinking that it was broken or it didn't work but is reassured by everyone that it was working properly.

Grayfia then goes on to explain the rules of the game as Rias hands everyone a magic communicator, "okay it's game time everyone we trained for this let's not fail. Kiba...Koneko go set the traps as planned and Akeno you go ahead and use your illusion magic to create some around the area." Rias then turns her attention to Issei, "don't worry president I am already on it," Issei then summons his boosted gear as he starts to boost his power making Rias smirk.

Transition to the Venue

Zekram almost jumps out of his chair in surprise at the red gauntlet in the boy's hand, "do my eyes decide me, or is that the boosted gear?" Zekram wasn't the only person who had this reaction Lord and Lady Phenex were surprised as well along with Lord and Lady Gremory.

The only ones who weren't were Sirzechs, Grayfia, and Anos since they already knew, "Lord Lucifer is that the boosted gear on that pawn's arm," says Lord Phenex with disbelief in his voice. Sirzechs chuckles, "ahh yes my sister found this generation's Red Dragon emperor and reincarnated him as a devil this definitely should make for an interesting game. But I think we should focus back it appears both teams have finished their preparations and are about to start the game."

Transition Back to the rating game

Koneko then makes her way back to the Orc and creates four identical clones of everyone except for herself and Issei. Issei then walks up to the clone of Kiba and pokes his shoulder, "wow these things look so lifelike," "stop getting distracted let's go."

Issei and Koneko then make their way to the gym to confront some of Riser's peerage there, Kiba was standing in the forest with five clones of his own, and Akeno was in the room with five close as well.

Koneko and Issei reach the gym along with the clones and stop outside before entering, "hey Koneko what's wrong why are we going in," she then closes her eyes for a few seconds then reopens them.

"There are four inside and one appears to be stronger than the rest but it shouldn't be a problem," Koneko stands and kicks down the door to Issei's confusion. "They know we are here no need to be sneaky," the lights to the gym cut to reveal four girls standing in the middle of the gym floor.

"Look what we have here girls we have aaaa…." But her face pales after seeing who walks in behind Issei and Koneko, "what the fuck why is the whole peerage here," then without uttering a word Issei and Koneko rush the girls.

Slightly catching them off guard, the girl in the blue cheongsam then orders her parters to attack while she attempts to contact Lord Riser but she was too slow as the clone of Kiba swipes a sword at her stopping her concentration on summoning the circle.

The Koneko and the clone of Kiba take on the girl in the cheongsam outfit while Issei takes on the pawns with the clone of Akeno, while the clones of Rias and Asia stand back acting like they are supervising the battle.

"Geez two on one that doesn't seem fair you could have at least let us introduce ourselves," the girl jumps back dodging an attack from Kiba and Koneko.

"Why would we waste time talking to you this is a battle," says Koneko as catches the girl in the air while she was backflipping away sending a devastating punch to her stomach making her cough up the food she had eaten earlier. Sending her flying back a few feet, "god dam-it we are outnumbered here Ravel's plan didn't account for this," she then looks to her partners to see they weren't fairing any better.

That moment of distraction allowed Koneko to close the distance but the girl was completely defenseless she rolls back as her foot comes nicking Koneko in the chin making her stumble back slightly.

The adopts a cocky smirk on her face, "if it wasn't for your friend I would have retired you already," Koneko then narrows her eyes, "stay I will handle this go help Issei," the clone of Kiba nods and runs toward Issei to lend support. "You really think you can fight me alone," Koneko shrugs and cracks her knuckles, "it's not a matter of if but when."

Transition over to Issei

To Issei's surprise dodging their attacks was quite easy especially the two girls with the chain saws, thanks to training and the boost Ddraig gave him it seemed like the three girls were moving in slow-motion.

The girl who struck him with the staff when they first met was thrusting it at Issei but he was effortfully dogging the attacks, "hey Ddraig am I crazy, or are these girls moving in slow-motion like in movies."

Ddraig sighs at his partner's slowness, "you went out through rigorous training by Anos who far surpassed these insects and are now your body has been destroyed and remade somewhat into a dragon. Because of those two factors, your perception heightened making it seem like these girls are moving in slow motion but don't let your guard down focus."

Issei mentally nods but gets momentarily distracted as the girl twirls the staff behind her back bringing it down over his head but the staff bounces off like it hit a solid brick, a surprised gasp comes out of her mouth.

Issei then grabs the staff to the girl's surprise, "this isn't like last time," but then the girl smirks as the twins use this opportunity to attack Issei but the clones of Akeno and Kiba cut them off.

"You not as talkative as last time...what after I put you in your place did you lose that fighting spirit of yours," Issei's eye narrow as he snaps the staff in two tossing the other end two the ground making the girl tear up, "what the fuck that was a gift for Lord Riser."

The girl then lunges toward Issei sending a barrage of punches and kicks toward Issei but her attempt was futile as Issei effortlessly dodges left right up and down. Issei then slips through her guard slapping her stomach with a satisfied smirk then snaps his fingers as her clothes are torn to shreds.

Issei wipes some blood from his nose to marvel at his work then turns his attention to the twins fighting the clones of Kiba and Akeno, he was about to lend but turns his attention to the crying girl on the ground.

He sighs and walks behind her karate-chopping her in the neck knocking her in consciousness as he remembers one of the lessons set by Anos, "make sure you clean up your messes."

The girl's body glows blue as she is teleported out of the game, "one of Lord Riser's pawns has been retired." Issei then runs toward the clone of Akeno, "hey Akeno I got this," the clone nods and retreats to the girl's confusion, but she notices Issei's advance and swings her chainsaw at Issei but he blocks it with his right arm.

The girl's eyes go wide his arm wasn't bleeding nor was Issei in pain, she turns her eyes toward Issei and he shrugs, "looks like it isn't sharp enough."

Transition to Koneko's Fight

Koneko punches the girl in the face then twirls on her heel kicking her in the jaw sending her flying in the air but she recovers by extending her wings to land on her feet, "you really are strong."

Koneko doesn't say anything to the girl's annoyance then her fist ignites into flames as she lunges toward Koneko to at least land one punch on the girl, she then tried fiery kicks toward Koneko but it was to no avail she couldn't land a hit.

Koneko then catches the girl's foot and smirks to the girl's surprise then she slams the girl to the ground repeatedly knocking the girl unconscious in the process.

Then, she throws the girl toward the bleachers but is engulfed in a blue light before she could hit them, "one of Lord Riser's rooks has retired."

Koneko smirks as she turns her attention toward Issei a little surprised that he was holding his own and a little disgusted that he used his move on that girl, "Issei Lord Anos is going to kill after this," Issei's face pales as an intense chill runs down his back.

Transition to the Venue

Everyone was looking at Anos in slight surprise after seeing Issei rip a girl's clothes off just by touching her, for Anos's part his eyes were closed and was contemplating on how he should kill Issei.

"Let's make one thing clear I did not teach that idiot how to do that," but he was curious about how Issei blocked that chainsaw without any reinforcement magic. Zekram laughs in amusement, "so the guy is a pervert, never thought I would see naked girls during this fight," everyone in the room sighs.

Grayfia then leans toward the mike and says, "two of Lord Riser's pawns have been retired." Sirzech then sighs after seeing the boy do the same exact move on risers remain two pawns in the gym, "well it certainly is an effective move."

Transition Back to the Rating Game

Yubelluna had watched the entire Gremory Peerage enter the gym, which completely surprised her as to why Rias would use such a bold tactic. Once they entered the gym she called Lord Riser and he informed her that the clones were most likely created by Rias's rook who happens to be a cat Youkai.

She then asked if she should level the entire gym along with her teammate allowing them to be a necessary sacrifice ignorer for them to win the game.

But Riser surmised thanks to Ravel that Rias would probably use her queen to destroy the gym with the girls inside, so it would be best to let Rias queen exhaust magic destroying the gym then Yubelluna would take care of Rias queen.

So she was thoroughly surprised when four of her teammates were retired, enraged Yubelluna called Lord Riser who sounded aggravated, "what happened Yubelluna how did two pieces of trash defeat four of my servants."

"I don't know Lord Riser I was waiting a few meters above the school like you instructed and waited for Akeno to destroy the gym but I never thought that they would defeat them."

"Shut up Yubelluna fix this I want both of them retired now and I won't take failure as not an option," the line ends and Yubelluna started preparing her magic as she watches the two devils run out with the illusions.

Transition to Issei and Koneko

After defeating Risers servants Issei and Koneko run out of the gym while Issei contacts Rias, "hey president phase two of the plan is a success and we are making our way to the track and field," "good Issei Akeno is making her way their now and Kiba is distracting a few of Riser's pawns and once you guys arrive he will finish them off and join you."

The line ends as Issei and Koneko with the clones continue toward the gym, Koneko then feels a cold chill run down her back making her hair stand straight up. She then shoves Issei to the right before an explosion spell erupts around her, Koneko shoved Issei a little hard-throwing him into a nearby tree.

Yubelluna then reveals herself above the clouds with a cocky smirk on her face, "looks like that cat has better senses than I thought but unfortunately you were too slow to sense my attack coming."

Yubelluna then extends her staff toward Issei but stops after feeling someone tap her on the shoulder, Yubelluna turns in confusion with it being quickly replaced by surprise.

It was Koneko her clothes were slightly torn but besides that, she looked fine, she had her fist cocked back glowing a blue color, "that hurt," says Koneko with a little annoyance in her voice.

Koneko then delivers a punch toward Yubelluna's face but she raises her arms quickly enough to block but she was still sent flying toward the ground creating a small impact crater.

Issei then looks up to Koneko thinking she got retired but thanks to her clones surrounding her after she pushed Issei she got off a lot more than she would have if they weren't there.

"You bitch I'm going to kill you for that," Yubelluna then extends her staff toward Koneko and was about to shoot an explosion spell toward Koneko but stops as she feels a rise of the magic behind her, "I see you met one of our strongest members."

She then looks further to the right to see thunder clouds with Akeno hovering below them with her finger extended toward her with a small blurb and playful smile.

A magic circle forms above Akeno's hand intended toward the sky, a lightning bolt strikes it, Koneko then transfers the surge of power through her finger towards Yubelluna engulfing her in a bright light of electricity.

Akeno then turns her toward Koneko and Issei and says in an urgent voice, "continue toward the track I will hold off Yubelluna." Issei looked toward the screaming Yubelluna, "shouldn't she be retired by now," the dust dies down from the massive lighting strike revealing a barely breathing Yubelluna with a vial of Phenex tears in her hand.

Yubelluna then drops the tears on her head completely healing the scorch marks on her body, then looks up to glare at Akeno who had a cocky smirk on her face with a small blush.

Akeno then says without taking her eyes off Yubelluna toward Issei and Koneko, "go Kiba should be wrapping up with the…" almost on cue Grayfia's voice rings out through the battlefield, "three of lord Riser's pawns have retired."

Flash Back earlier with Kiba

After departing the Orc Kiba made his way to a part of the forest to set off some traps along with some illusions he learned from Anos.

Issei stops in the middle of the forest where he suspected Riser's peerage would arrive at then began his casting, he placed his hand on the ground creating a red magic circle on the ground as for started to ooze from the magic circle.

Kiba then stood to take a look around to decide where he should place his traps, "now where do I place the traps," Kiba then narrowed his eyes to concentrate on where to place the next illusions as the fog started to grow thicker and thicker.

Kiba then jumps into a tree as a plan starts to come to mind and summons his purple rapier then remembers he never gave it a name, Kiba runs his finger on the unnaturally thin blade.

"I think I shall call you quick strike," Kiba then chuckles at the lousy name he gave to his sword, "well it could have been worse." He then puts his hand on the tree creating another magic circle putting a few small daggers inside to be launched in a certain direction then does the same to a few more trees to funnel them to a certain area.

As Kiba finishes his final trap he sees the clone of everyone arrive awaiting his orders, "good glad you guys made it I just finished the preparations. This is what we are going to do, I have numerous traps around the forest that will funnel them to that area."

Kiba then points to the area with his finger getting a nod from all of them, "once they arrive I will use my rapier to inject them with a slow-acting paralysis poison and once the poison finally takes its tole it will be a waiting game until its time to join up with Issei and Koneko.

Does anyone have questions before they arrive." There was silence as the clones looked between each other as the one of Rias raises her hand, "in this plan what do you want us to accomplish, hide and wait or distract them while you use your weapon to paralyze them?"

"It will definitely be easier with you guys distracting them, so yea let's do that," everyone's attention is diverted to the forest as a trap is triggered, "well it looks like they are here. There is no point in going after them just wait here and once they arrive distract them and I will inject the poisons."

Kiba then jumped into the trees as the sound of more traps continue to be triggered.

Flash Back to the Week of Training

Kiba was panting heavily with a flaming demonic sword in hand while Anos had a wooden sword in his hand, at the moment Anos was trying to teach him that always fight virtuous and with chivalry will be his downfall.

During their little spar, Anos would purposely put his back to Kiba and at certain moments he would completely halt his attack or just reposition himself in front of Anos to fight him directly on.

"Don't let your pride as a knight be your downfall," Kiba raises an eyebrow while panting, "wouldn't that mean abandoning who I am," Anos just shakes his head in disapproval, "if there is anything you need to remember from this week of training it is that there is a time and place for everything. Now raise that sword of yours I think you have enough of a break."

Flash Back End

Kiba was currently sitting in a tree watching as three girls from Risers peerage came walking through a clearing in the forest. His arm was reeled back, he then relaxed his shoulders and exhaled to relax, even more, Kiba's objective was to pierce all three girls deep enough to inject the poison but not enough to be noticed.

That's where his knight piece would come in, Kiba then leaned forward as he let gravity slowly pull him toward the ground, he then chuckled mentally thinking this isn't how his master taught him how to fight.

Kiba then launched himself off the branch behind the three girls piercing one in the right leg, another in her left arm, and the third in her neck.

All three girls slapped their respective body parts that they got pierced in and turned around, "what the hell was that bug I barely noticed it," the girl in a maid uniform look around in the forest to try and sense if someone was out there but thanks to the fog that was making it hard.

The girl then rubbed her left arm but found there wasn't any blood but it couldn't have been her imagination because her two compatriots got pricked as well. "Look alive Shuriya and Marion it appears that the enemy is here and it can only be one of two people, Kiba her knight, or Koneko her pawn," the three girls look at each other hoping that it was the knight instead of the rook.

The girls then continue toward the Orc while unconsciously being drawn toward the trapped placed by Kiba all the while being pricked along the way. They reach the clearing of the forest feeling a little sluggish as Shuriya drops to a knee from exhaustion and numbness, "it feels like we have been running for hours and I feel so sluggish."

Marion and Burnet try to stretch their muscles noticing that their muscles felt tight as well, "yea I know how you feel I like I could fall over at any moment," says Marion as she notices she has almost lost all feeling in her legs.

The fog around them starts to clear to their confusion as all of their eyes widen in surprise in horror, standing a few feet in front of them was the entire Gremory except they were all clones with the exemption of Kiba since he wasn't but they didn't know that.

Marion then screams to her companions to buy her time while she attempts to contact Lord Riser but Kiba's eyes narrow as he dashes forward covering the ten-foot distance between them in a matter of seconds.

He then pierces her shoulder and injects her with a lot more paralysis poison than the other times completely making her lose control of her body as she falls limp. But before the other two girls could react Kiba stands in her stomach completely paralyzing her body, Kiba then blurs from Shuriya's vision to reappear behind her with the sword running through her back.

Shuriya attempts to fight the poison and says in a soft voice, "some knight you are using cheap tricks and attacking from the back like that." Kiba removes his sword and sighs in resignation, it's true that this wasn't how knights should fight but this is a battle and you need to do everything you can to win while still remembering who you are.

"You're right but I am fighting for my master's freedom so I will do anything I can to ensure her freedom," Grayfia then rings throughout the rating game, "two of Lord Riser's pawns have retired."

Kiba heard the announcements earlier but decided to ignore them to stay focused and a few minutes later he hears Rias speak to him through his communication device, "Issei and Koneko have finished what they were doing in the gym and are making their way to the track once you are done meet them there."

"Yes president I will retire them now," Kiba then brings creates a regular demonic sword and in an instant slashes the girls in vital spots on their bodies that would kill them if they weren't treated.

But they wouldn't die since this was a rating game and as soon as they are retired they would be healed back up then after a few seconds their bodies start to glow as they are teleported out of the rating game.

Then Grayfia says, "three of Lord Riser's pawns have been retired," Kiba then turns his attention toward the clones, "well looks like I didn't need your help sorry for wasting your time." The clones are then engulfed in a poof of smoke revealing five Koneko then they unanimously, "it's fine this is all part of the president's plan anyway."

Kiba nods and was about to walk away as the realization comes to his eyes, "wait if you could clone yourself this whole time why didn't you ever do it before?" They all shrug and lunge into the tree as Kiba makes his way toward the track to meet up with Issei and the real Koneko.

Transition to the Venue

The Phenex family was watching the monitors for the rating game a little nervous due to the fact that Riser has already lost seven pieces with Ria not having lost any. Zekram's attitude also had changed considerably from the start of the game to now, he had a lot riding on this rating game and if Rias won then that would cause major problems for him.

Zekram glances toward Anos as a slight smirk forms on his face, Anos looks at him out the corner of his eye but decides to ignore him and just continue to watch the game.

Zekram then says out loud not to anyone in particular, "well who would have of thought Rias would put up this much of a fight also her rook is stronger than she appears," he then glances toward Anos who was already looking at him, "I wonder what else she can do besides creating tangible clones of her self."

Sirzechs pinches the bridge of his nose to calm his nerves, "Lord Bael would you stop talking it is quite distracting?" Zekram's smile falls as it is replaced with a blank expression, then Anos says grabbing everyone's attention, "looks like they are making their way to the track and Akeno and Yubelluna have started their fight."

Transition to the Track

Kiba, Koneko, and Issei arrive at the track having already met up a seconds before arriving, they stop at the edge of the forest so Koneko can sense who all is here, Koneko reopens her eyes then says to Issei and Kiba, "I sense seven people out there all surrounding the track."

Issei then looks at the opposite side of the track to see if he can spot anyone and then says, "why not tell your clones to find them and attack them for us."

"One I can't communicate with them telepathically, and two remember the clones are going to help Rias attack Riser while we take on the remainder of his peerage," says Koneko as she and Kiba stand to Issei's confusion.

"Come on Issei let s go out there and greet them," says Kiba extending his hand to help Issei to his feet, "wait I thought we were supposed to be sneaking around?" "No need for that since we are trying to distract them for the time being until Akeno defeats risers queen so we can all gang upon him."

Issei then slams his fist in his palm in realization but this aspect was already discussed when going over the plan, the three then walk out of the forest to draw out the remainder of Riser's peerage hiding in the forest.

They stop in the middle of the track as two girls walk out of the forest with swords in their hands, then the one with light brown hair and green eyes says, "you there knight of Gremory we wish to battle you as knights."

The girl with long black hair with dark blue eyes nods in an agreement, Kiba smirks and bows slightly, "I will be delighted to take both of you on." Kiba then creates another sword for his opposite hand then he dashes toward the one with black hair as she narrowly dodges to the left cutting off a piece of her hair.

"Ahh yes, where are my manners my name is Kiba Yuuto," the girls then lunge toward him from the left and right blocking both of their attacks with a smirk, "by the way what are your names?"

The girl with brown hair says while trying to break through Kiba's guard, "my name is Karlamine," the girl with black hair says while jumping back from Kiba's sword slash, "my name is Siris it's a pleasure, Lady Ravel was right to think you would be problem good thing we decided to double team you."

Koneko and Issei were silently watching Kiba fight two knights alone but unsurprisingly he was holding his own against them but the fight was still too early to decide who would win but it was obvious that Kiba was holding back to buy time for Akeno.

Their attention is diverted as more people surround them, "hello fried chicken surprised to see your frail self on the battlefield," says Koneko with a smirk on her face while looking at Ravel.

Ravel rolls her eyes while puffing out her chest, "you know that's not my name shorty," Koneko scoffs while cracking her knuckles, "I'm gonna pop those lumps of fat on your chest."

Two girls with cat ears then stand in front of Ravel defensively, "you better watch who you are talking to little girl," "yea know your place child." Koneko's expression was neutral but there was a large tick mark on Koneko's forehead threatening to burst to make the girls back away slowly, "your both dead."

Koneko then speaks to Issei without taking her eyes off the girls, "you take on that rook and that bishop over there I will handle these three."

Issei nods then turn his attention to the girl with a nervous smile, "hello it's a pleasure to meet you I am Issei Hyoudou what are your names," the rook cracks her fingers and says with a neutral expression, "I am Isabela and this is Mihae and it is not a pleasure to meet you it would be better if all of you were to give it up here and now you have no chance defeating Lord Riser."

Mihae nods her head with a cocky smirk confirming what her friend said, at the moment Issei was just buying as much time as he could unlike Koneko who was purposely trying to retire the other three but since she hadn't done it yet he assumed she was holding back as well.

Issei then glances at his sacred gear and speaks to Ddraig, "hey have I reached the max number of my boost yet," "yes you have maxed out for a while now," "well do you think I can beat them without it."

Ddraig was silent while he assessed the two girl's capabilities against Issei's, "compared to the other three they are a lot better but you should be fine for now." Issei then nodded causing both of the girls to raise an eyebrow, Mihae then raises her hand toward Issei with a red magic circle forming and says, "enough standing around it is time to end this and rejoin Lord Riser."

Isabela smacks her fist in her hand and walks toward Issei with her guard down, "I was looking forward to a fight, it would have been more interesting to fight that rook or that knight over there but I will end you quickly so I don't have to waste any more time."

Mihae then lunges from the ground toward Issei but like the three girls who he fought earlier she was coming at him in slow-motion but she was slightly moving faster but not anything outstanding.

An idea then came to Issei's head and mentally snaps his fingers, he then extends his devil wings and takes flight dodging Isabela's fist as it connects with the air. "Hey you coward get down here and fight like a man," Issei crosses his arms while floating in the air with a cocky smirk, "why don't you come up here and make me?"

Issei's attention is diverted as his Ddraig speaks to him mentally, "Issei take a look at your wings if you plan on keeping what has happened secret I suggest you go back to the ground."

Issei looks back to his wings and at first glance, he could see anything out of the ordinary but then he looked more closely and noticed scales on different parts of his wings, "wait why do I have scales or right that's why."

"Yes partner you are becoming more dragon by the second I doubt your wings will turn completely into dragon wings but will apparently develop scales," Issei nods and slowly descends to the ground.

Isabela crosses her arms while looking at Issei in suspicion, "what is your play pervert I won't fall for your tricks." A perverted smirk forms on his face as his eyes turn toward Isabela's chest and snap a few of his fingers, "well I do have a few ideas in mind."

Isabela scowls and cocks her fist back and lunges toward Issei as he takes a defensive stance ready but then he senses scream of danger as his eyes divert toward the bishop who was silently watching just moments ago but now was shooting a fireball at him and he lunges backward dodging the attack but failed to notice the attack from Isabela as she used the blast to mask her movements as she lands a strike to Issei's stomach.

Knocking him a few inches off the ground making him clench his teeth but she follows it up with a kick to the middle of his back sending him back toward the ground, Isabela removes her foot with a smirk and cracks her neck.

"Well that was easier than I thought lets go and," but she trails off noticing that Mihae was a frantic look on her face and was pointing at something behind her Isabela slowly turns but her face it halted by a fist sending her twirling in the air making her roll on the ground.

It was issei he had a few bruises and scrapes but besides that he was fine, "partner I said you were stronger but that doesn't mean just let her hit you as hard she can you are lucky your skin and bones are harder than normal."

Isabela rubs her cheek glaring at Issei but that changes to confusion as a magic circle forms on her cheek then she hears a snap and looks at Issei.

Then suddenly all of her clothes are torn off making her scream while covering her clothes, Issei then presses both his hands together and looks up to the sky and apologies to Anos but feels that did nothing to save his life as a terrifying chill ran across his body.

"Partner by the end of this game whether you win or lose that devil will kill you," Issei mentally sighs knowing and accepting that he was a dead man walking, "yes I know." Then Issei's eyes sparkle as resolve forms on his face, "so that means I need to rip the clothes off all the girls here before I die."

Transition to the Venue

There was an ominous atmosphere looming over everyone present it wasn't bad nor was it good, it was mixed with disgust, disappointment, annoyance, and a little bit of murderous intent.

Zekram's amused smirk had shifted watching Issei strip the first girl was amusing and funny once but after the fourth time he was starting to think the boy was a borderline rapist. Zekram coughs to try and dispel the tension in the venue, "Lord Lucifer umm…I think we may need to edit the rules of future rating games."

Sirzech nods for the first time in a long time agreeing with his fellow devil, "yes I agree I never would have predicted that something like this would happen. I know we are devils but this is getting a little weird."

After saying their silence as everyone agreed then Lord Phenex said something that he probably should have kept to himself, "I mean it's not that bad." Everyone glances at Lord Phenex as Lady Phenex slaps the back of his head, "so you think forcefully stripping a girl of her clothes and mentally scaring her is fine."

Lord Phenex pales noticing that his words were not how he wanted them to be interpreted and continues as the looks he was receiving were not the ones he wanted.

"What I was trying to say was in games clothing is always getting blown off so making a rule like that could punish those who don't intentionally try and remove the clothing from the opposite or same gender."

Lady Phenex then sends her husband a satisfied smirk while Zekram turns his attention back toward the monitor and then glances toward Anos who was staring at the monitor with Issei on it fighting two of Risers pieces, "Anos has something caught your eye," Anos glances toward Zekram.

It's not like he hated his grandfather but he definitely didn't like him although most of all he didn't trust him for the simple fact that once he learned that only Rias inherited his power all thoughts regarding himself were guarded.

But in recent years Zekram for some reason unknown to him or Sirzechs started showing more interest in Anos, it could be due to fact that he is called a prodigy, or it was due to the fact he knows as the strongest magical youth.

It could also be possible it was something else but there was one thing that Anos knew for certain Zekram only cared about things that could benefit himself. Anos looks back at the monitor and then smirks, "no Lord Bael I just saw something amusing," Anos then glances toward another monitor that was showing the fight between Rias and Riser's respective queens, "it looks like the two queens are pretty evenly matched."

Transition to the Battle Between Akeno and Yubelluna

From the moment the battle started between Akeno and Yubelluna, it was pretty evenly matched, as one girl launched an attack the other would dodge or counter perfectly to the other's dismay.

But as far as stamina went Yubelluna was superior but Akeno had more powerful attacks making Yubelluna employ more powerful explosions to counter Akeno's pinpoint lighting attacks.

Akeno flies high into the sky ducking and dodging a flurry of bombardments from Yubelluna's explosion spells but there was one thing Akeno had over Yubelluna she was able to momentarily hold her own against The Demon King of Tyranny although she didn't know that.

Akeno then thrust her hand toward Yubelluna shooting a sharp stream of lighting toward Yubelluna forcing her to choose between dodging or wasting magic creating a barrier. She ultimately decides to dodge but was too slow as she is struck in her right leg sending a jolt of electricity throughout her body slowly her movements momentarily.

Giving Akeno the opportunity to follow up with a much larger attack as she claps her hands together and points her palms toward Yubelluna with a large stream of lighting shooting out her hand.

Akeno's attack connects as Yubelluna screams out in agony but she clenches her teeth to bear with the pain and focused her attention on trying to cast a large explosion spell and then sends it toward Akeno who was busy looking at Yubelluna's body shaking from electricity.

Yubelluna slams to the ground as Akeno dives bombs toward Yubelluna as a bright light blurs her vision with her entire body being engulfed in an explosion.

Akeno's body slams to the ground with a thud but thankfully she received more powerful attacks from Anos but it didn't mean it hurt any less, both girls wobble to their feet with Yubelluna using her staff to help herself up.

While Akeno used some rubble to help her up, Yubelluna coughs and then says, "I see why you are the priestess of thunder," she then rolls her shoulders cracking a few bones, "but I am far from done fighting."

Akeno stands straight up trying to hold down her masochist and sadist side then walks to part of the wall from the gym that had been partially destroyed due to their fight.

She then slams her dislocated shoulder slowly loving the pain she felt then shoves it deep to stay focused and rolls her shoulder, and looks up the Yubelluna with a smirk, "same here I can't wait to see more of your faces in pain, plus deep down I am enjoying it a little."

Although Akeno was enjoying the fight she really did need to end it so she could help carry out the final part of the plan to gang up on Riser but if things kept progressing like this they both would end up retiring each other.

Although Akeno did have an ace in the hole that she didn't want to use but she promised herself she wouldn't use her cursed power. But anytime she thought of it another thing would also surface it was the words that Anos told her, "well can you put up with it for Ria's sake?"

Could she put up with the pain of using her full power to save her best friend from a marriage she didn't want, Akeno momentarily looked down at her hands which were trembling.

As she thought to herself while Yubelluna decided to monologue about how her fighting was futile and how she should give up and become one of Riser's loyal servants, "I don't want to be like them I am better they are disgusting monsters who care only about themselves.

But Mittelt seemed fine for the most part with Anos and Asia completely trusting, even Kiba who hated Fallen's and they were able to put up with her presence for the sake of Rias but I couldn't even train with her for the sake of Rias."

Akeno blinks away some tears that were forming in her eyes as she started regretting her decision to just set aside her grievances about Fallen Angels and train with the girl even if she disliked it.

Akeno then remembered the last thing Anos said to her before he decided not to train her well part of it is, "if you can't put aside your anger against Fallen to protect your friends then there is no reason to train you."

It wasn't exactly what Anos said but it is what she perceived, "can I put it aside for the sake of my friends," Akeno did love seeing agony on people's faces but she couldn't stand seeing those expressions on the people she cared about most.

Akeno comes out of her thoughts and clenches her right fist as it starts to crackle a new color instead of the normal one it took on a more golden aura making Yubelluna pause in her monologue as her devil sense's started flaring danger.

She hasn't felt this feeling before but for some reason, it was very familiar like instinctive her eyes narrowed at Akeno's hand that had sparks of lighting coming off of it but this was different it was golden instead of the normal lighting she was throwing earlier.

Yubelluna's eyes widen in utter surprise, before the rating game they were told of every one of Rias peerage members' abilities and weaknesses and probably abilities.

With two people being wild cards Koneko and Akeno due to the fact that Koneko had been trained by Anos for two years with hardly anyone knowing how strong she had gotten due to the fact that no one could ever figure out where they trained at.

The second was Akeno in terms of strengths she was on par with herself but this was only because Akeno never used her Fallen Angel side because of past trauma evening the plain field.

This is why she was given Phenex tears to compensate just in case she pushed to the edge but she foolishly allowed herself to get attacked making her use the tears earlier than planned.

But the only thing that kept them on even footing was due to the fact that Akeno wasn't using her holy lighting but what she was sensing was correct the turned in Akeno's favor.

Akeno's eyes narrowed at Yubelluna who now had her guard up after sensing the holy element in Akeno's lighting then says with a hint of nervousness in her voice, "it appears you're finally taking me seriously."

The holy lighting starts to spark louder in Akeno's right hand as it grows with power then she gives Yubelluna a warm smile but there was no kindness in the smile, "I'm going to retire you now."

Yubelluna twirls her staff and extends her wings to get above Akeno but Akeno releases her holy lighting toward Yubelluna but she dodges it easily noticing that it was much slower than her earlier attacks.

"What this is she running low on magic or is holy lighting just slower than regular lighting," Yubelluna comes out her thoughts coming to the conclusion that there could be a chance that she could defeat Akeno as long as she didn't get hit.

Transition Back to the Battle at the Track

For the most part, the Rias peerage was holding their own against the remainder of Riser's peerage but the knight Siris that was helping her Karlamine hadn't to go offer assistance to Ravel since Koneko was being born than Ni and Li could handle without their promotions.

As Siris approaches Ravel from the left Koneko was doing numerous flips, ducks, and dives to dodge Ni, Li, and Ravel's attacks with ease, "Lady Ravel I have arrived to assist you."

Ravel nods and looks over to Isabela and Mihae who were supposed to be done fighting Issei but to her surprise, he was holding his own against the two of them and was hoping the two girls would have finished him off already so they could all gang up on Koneko.

But everything was taking too long and it was easy to see that they were buying time for something but she didn't know what they could be buying time for. Then it comes to her as Siris awaits her orders, "Siris go help Yubelluna and take these Phenex tears to her she may need them."

Siris nods and darts toward the direction of the gym, Kiba noticed earlier that she backed off and went toward Ravel but figured she was going to lend support.

So when he saw Ravel hand her something a dart toward where Akeno was fighting alarm bells were ringing, Kiba then puts his finger to his ear to contact Koneko and Issei, "guys the knight that was fighting me has ran in the direction toward Akeno can one of you take over while I ran after her."

"I will take care of it go help Akeno," says Koneko in a passive voice, "okay cool I will lure her towards you," Kiba backflips and runs toward Koneko as Karlamine grits teeth, "hey get back here coward."

Karlamine then runs after Kiba as she is unknown-lying lured toward Koneko, as Karlamine catches up to Kiba she feels an agonizing pain in her stomach and stumbles backward.

Karlamine clenches her stomach and drops to her knees throwing her food, "well that's disgusting," Karlamine looks up to see Koneko with her. With a tiny fist extended toward where she was standing.

"You bitch you will pay for that with your life," says Karlamine using her sword to stand up, "I would like to see your try," Koneko then drops to a crouch dodging a punch from Li then swings her leg around knocking her off her feet and onto the ground, "your gonna have to be quicker than that."

Koneko then pauses as the memories of all her clones that were helping Rias come flooding back to her she then backflips dodging a sword strike from Karlamine, "your pretty quick for a rook," says Karlamine a little surprised that she dodged her strike.

Koneko was about to call Issei on the communicator but lucky for her he comes flying at her from the sky but she steps to the right out of his was, "look out below," says Issei as he comes crashing down.

Koneko grabs him by the color to his discomfort, "hey I can stand on my own," Koneko then turns in the direction of where the student council's office is and says with slight urgency in her voice, "Rias needs help my clones have all vanished."

Issei now understanding the situation nods and was about to run over there but stops noticing that Koneko was still carrying him, "hey I can't get there if you hold me like this."

"Don't worry this is much faster," Issei was about to question her but finally understood what she meant as she bends her knees and tightens her grip on Issei's shirt. "Hey wait Koneko I can just flllllyyyyy," screams Issei as he goes soaring into the direction of the student council's office.

Koneko sighs as her attention is diverted to Ravel after hearing her talk, "well look at what you got yourself into." Koneko looks around with her eyes noticing that she is surrounded, Ravel then looks to Ni and Li the weakest ones here beside herself, "you two go make sure that boy doesn't bother my brother."

Ni turns to go run but almost at the same there was a gust of wind and a loud crack, Ni slowly turns around to look at her sister but what she sees horrifies her. Koneko had her knee implanted into Li's face, her arms lifeless fall to her side with blood trickling down from where Koneko's knee was implanted.

Koneko uses Li's head and jumps off it back into the middle of the of where everyone was circling her, Ni nervously walked toward her sister.

Her eyes were lifelessly looking up to the sky as her body started to glow blue as it disappeared with Grayfia saying, "one of Risers rooks has been retired." Koneko then follows up by saying grabbing all the girl's dumbstruck attention, "if you all want to leave you are going to have to retire me," Koneko then cracks her knuckles emphasizing that it wouldn't be easy to make her retire.

Earlier with Rias and Asia

Rias and Asia had been sitting in the Orc awaiting for the right time to head towards Riser's headquarters, she was silently sipping a cup of tea while patiently waiting.

Except for Asia, she was fidgeting with her hands on her lap staring at the floor, Rias opened her eyes after hearing Grayfia's voice, "two of Lord Riser's pawns have been retired," Rias sets down her tea and stands to her feet and flips her hair over her shoulder putting her finger to her ear to contact Kiba to let him know to wrap things up and meet Issei and Koneko at the gym.

The line ends then she contacts Issei and Koneko to make their way and the line ends, Rias sighs and looks to Asia as she nervously stands as well. Rias rounds her desk and drops to one knee placing her hand on Asia's shoulder to ease her nerves, "Asia don't worry you won't have to worry about the fighting I will protect you."

Asia nods and whispers under her breath, "thanks and I will support you the best I can," Rias smiles and rubs Asia's head then stands.

"Okay come on Asia let's put that devil in his place," Asia and Rias walk out of the room, down some stairs, and out the doors of the Orc, "Asia how is you're flying," "umm…I don't know I haven't really been using my wings but I think can manage."

Rias then says while extending her wings with Asia doing the same good, "well let's meet up with Koneko's clones they should be drawing Riser to the roof of the building."

Asia and Rias then take off toward the main school building to draw out Riser from the student council office, just a few feet in the sky while flying to the building part of it explodes where the student council's office was.

Well explode would be a strong word more like the building erupted in a burst of flames, Rias and Asia land on the roof with Asia standing behind her. Suddenly a burst of flames shoots from the roof a few feet in front of them leaving a smoking hole, then six Koneko's jump from the hole.

Rias counts the number of clones noticing it less than she thought she would have and was about to ask did Riser destroying some but stops as he rises from the still-smoking hole.

Part of Riser's clothes were torn but he quickly restores them with magic, also had an annoyed look in his eye, "Riser has grown tired of these illusions." His eyes then land on Rias making him smirk, "hello my dear have you come to through yourself at me," he was about to walk toward her but stops as the six Konekos stand in way.

"Mere copies whether you are the original or not have no right to stand in the presence of Riser," he then lifts his hand toward one of the clones as a fireball shoots out with the clone doing a backflip to dodge.

Riser's aggravation grows more evident on his face as he continues to try and hit some of the clones, it was easier to destroy two of them since it was an enclosed space but now that they were out in the open it was getting harder.

Riser aims for another clone but gets struck in the stomach by a blast of the power of destruction Rias who had an amused smirk on her face, "don't forget I am still here Riser." Riser's wounds heal as he looks at Rias with an amused smirk then feels something strike his stomach, and looks down to see a clone punching him as his eyebrow twitches, "what does trash like you think they have the right of touching Riser Phenex?"

The clone leans to the left then to the right then backflips out of Riser's reach as he attempted to punch the clone but is halted as Rias hurls a blast of her power of destruction toward Riser.

This goes on for about terminates with Riser taking the onslaught on his body with no sign of him being hurt or exhausted. "Riser has grown bored of these games do you not have the power to beat me on your own my love and these mere distractions are no longer worth my attention."

Rias crosses her arms and chuckles, "what is the mighty Phenex unable to defeat mere clones, one bishop, and a so-called immature devil." Even though the first part was said in a mocking tone the last part was said with a hint of aggravation, a red magic circle then formed in front of Rias as the clone started to get into a fighting stance.

Riser's eye twitches as his annoyance reaches new levels, the clones circle him as Rias stands ready to attack Riser, the clones lunge toward Riser but he does nothing and just takes their hits and punches with ease.

Riser clenches his fist as his grip tightens, deep down he was trying to hold back his anger, he was doing all this for the sake of pure-blooded and most of all his little sister. Riser's flaming wings shoot from his back as he thinks about what will happen to his little sister if he loses this game.

His flaming aura erupts from his body instantly dispelling all the clones leaving just one as he walks over to pick picking up the clone by the neck, he then turns his attention toward Rias, "I am going to make you mine."

Riser then glares at the clone he was chocking in his hand, "and if I have to kill every one of your servants to do it I will," Riser then engulfs the clone in flames making her dispel.

"Riser will also make sure to kill that little rook first for wasting his time," Rias eyes narrow as her aura flares, "you really have the audacity to threaten my servants again, for that I will make you pay with your life Riser."

Asia nervously steps back because the aura releasing from Rias body was making her nervous, then everyone's attention is diverted when they hear someone screaming in the sky.

They all look to the right to see something coming flying at them, as their eyes narrow to get a better look at the flying object as it gets closer Riser raises an eyebrow in confusion, while Asia and Rias look on in utter surprise.

The object flies straight through the ceiling to the making Riser chuckle in amusement and says in between snickers, "my dear was that suppose to be a rescue attempt."

Riser then walks toward Riser with a mischievous smirk then says in a condescending tone, "I think I will play with your bishop first she looks adorable it will be fun taking advantage of her while you watch."

Riser pauses a sickening idea pops in his head, "you know what I think I will have my way with all your female servants and turn the boys into slaves while your spirit breaks then I will finally have my way with you."

The red magic circle in front of Rias glows brighter as her anger rises, but to Riser's confusion, Rias aura starts to recede, as the brightness from the magic circle dies down, "my dear have you finally given up if you get on your knees and beg for forgiveness for wasting everyone's time and declaring that the Phenex family surpasses the Gremory I will treat your servants as my own to a certain degree."

Rias was silent as she slowly powers down and looks at Riser impassively, he then continues to walk towards her but stops when he hears Grayfia say, "one of Lord Risers Knights has retired along with his queen."

Then a few seconds later she says, "Lady Rias queen has been retired," Riser shifter from surprise hearing that his queen had been retired to slight relief hearing Rias queen has been retired.

In disbelief he looks to where he sees three purple lights teleporting the injured away, Rias was also looking in sleigh surprise she was hoping that Akeno would have been able to handle the hurt but it was still fine for now.

Riser turns his attention back to Rias who was mouthing something, "excuse me what did you say," Rias smirked widened, and said, "now Issei." Riser raises an eyebrow, as the ceiling in front of Rias bursts from the bottom with a bright green light engulfing a small portion of the area, "explosion."

Issei had his fist reeled back with a red orb hovering in front of his gauntlet, Riser raises an eyebrow looking at the orb in question, "what is that supposed to be?"

Issei punches the orb as Riser's vision is engulfed in a red light with a destructive beam of magic smacking Riser directly in the face with the beam continuing past Riser hitting the barrier for the rating game.

Issei had a dumbstruck face along with Rias and Asia, Issei drops to his knees he was completely exhausted it was really tiring holding all that power for so long, and finally releasing it left him completely exhausted.

Rias and Asia's attention is diverted from Issei after an intense heat coming from where Riser was, his head was completely on fire along with his shoulders.

While his body was steal healing Riser lifts his hand toward Issei shooting a fireball at him and striking him in the chest making him roll backward toward Rias as she steps in front of him allowing Asia to heal him, "don't worry Issei I got you. I will have you healed up in a few seconds."

Asia extends her hands toward Issei healing the small scorch mark on his chest noticing that he seemed more muscular than she last saw him but putting those thoughts to the back of her mind to focus on healing him.

While Asia healed Issei's body Rias focused her attention on Riser who had finished healing and now had his full attention on them but closer attention could see that he was glaring at Issei.

Riser then cracks his fingers as he gets a little serious, "I am going to kill your servant for that Rias," Rias eyes widen at his tone. It wasn't like how he usually spoke, there wasn't any arrogance, no humor, it wasn't even cold.

Riser said it like a statement like it was a fact, his aura then starts to flare from his body burning parts of the roof that was close to his aura. Rias recovers from a moment of slight surprise but she attempts to not let herself get caught up in her emotions but something inside her snapped as he eyes started to glow with aura flaring out.

Asia held up her left hand to create a barrier to hold back some of her aura while she wrapped up the last of Issei's healing then said to Issei, "how long until you can start boosting again."

Issei then says while clenching his fist, "about another minute I need at least ten boosts to even stand a chance." Riser's smirk came back as felt Rias aura rise making her swirl around, her eyes were glowing from annoyance, hatred, and determination at Riser.

She lifts her hand creating a magic circle twice the size of her own body in front of her then she fires it releasing a massive burst of the power of destruction engulfing Riser's entire body.

Rias breathes deeply but mentally screams at the enflamed body of Riser rapidly mending the parts of his body that had been destroyed with ease, Rias was mentally and physically exhausted she put all the magic she could into that attack and had ended up using a lot of reserves in hope of defeating Riser but unfortunately, his regeneration was too great.

Riser was about to approach Riser further but felt a massive unfamiliar aura from the track his eyes narrowed in an attempt to get a closer look then said in a low whisper, "that fucking rook" he then smirked as an idea came, "killing her might be a waste making her a plaything would be more fun and if she bares my children then they will make the Phenex family stronger."

While his along with Issei and Asia's attention was diverted Rias was mentally cursing herself, her mother taught her to control her power in small bursts so she wouldn't waste it like she used to.

But now her reserves are almost depleted and she was exhausted, "crap," says while holding herself up by one knee.

She looked back to Issei and Asia who were looking at something but she was too tired to look, "as their king I must protect them," she says while trying to create as much power as she could only able to muster something the size of a gulf ball, "no I need more."

Rias then digs deep in an attempt to summon more power but as she does this her chest where her heart was and it starts to burn, Rias fights through the burning sensation in her chest as the ball of destruction grows in size resembling the size of a basketball, while concentration Rias didn't notice Grayfia's announcement that all of Riser's pieces have been retired.

Riser was now pissed this game wasn't going how he wanted it was supposed to be a clean slate and an easy win for him, he had planned for every action and even devised plans to deal with the rook and the queen if she decided to use her holy lighting.

Even after all the planning that his sister went through his peerage was only able to retire one of her pieces, his aggravation then turns to the person responsible for her peerage growth Anos Gremory.

A devil who had a strange ability to pull the full potential out of a person, evidence being Sairaorg Bael and the rook he had personally trained for two years.

Riser glares dangerously at Rias who was still trying to muster as much strength as she could but to his slight surprise, the power she was building up dispels with her dropping to her knees coughing up blood and grasping her head.

Asia crouches down to her side attempting to heal her but Rias condition was worsening, Riser was about to say something as Issei stands in front of Rias and Asia defensively. Riser looks at Issei in disgust then says without his cocky attitude, "fine if you want to die first I can arrange that."

The way he said it was cold making Issei sweat noticing that Riser did playing around. Issei turns his attention toward Asia attempting to help Rias then turns his attention toward Riser thrusting his fist toward him with his gauntlet glowing signaling that his power has just boosted again.

Ddraig then says in Issei's mind, "I am going, to be honest, partner you are going to need more power in order to defeat the Phenex," "I know but as her pawn, I must protect her above all else even if it cost me my life."

Issei comes out of his thoughts then says to Riser, "get ready flaming chicken I am going to take you on here and now," Issei then charges Riser with him doing the same they meet in the middle with Issei striking Riser in the face, while Riser sent a flaming fist to Issei's face.

Making Issei drop to a knee from the sheer force of the punch, "partner I suggest not taking any hits like that, you are facing a high-class devil as far as strength goes he greatly surpasses his rooks to you're going to feel his punches."

Besides from a slight mark on his cheeks Issei was fine but the punch still hurt Issei then tried to swing his leg around to knock Riser off his legs but when Issei kicked his leg it was like hitting a wall.

His leg didn't buckle nor did it move, Issei nervously looked up and Riser said, "insect," then right after kicked Issei in his face sending him rolling on the ceiling.

Asia looks to Issei attempting to defend her and then back to Rias who was grasping her shirt and struggling to breathe while she was crying blood, Asia couldn't tell what was wrong she had been trying to heal Rias but she couldn't figure out what was wrong.

At first, she started healing her chest since it seemed that was hurting worse then stopped after seeing a flood flowing from her eyes resembling tears. Asia was stuck she didn't know what to do, although Koneko taught her how to defend herself a little it wasn't going to be enough to help Issei.

As Issei struggled to his feet as Ddraig said, "partner you are on your thirteenth boost what are you going to do," Issei wiped some blood from his lip deciding, "just watch."

Issei the runs toward Riser as he lifts his hand to shoot a fireball toward striking him directly but he doesn't stop and when he gets close enough to Riser jumps in the air to punch Riser but catches the punch aimed for his face inches from striking it, "as if I would let you hit Risers face again."

Riser reels his own fist back striking Issei in the face as his smirk comes back to his face, "you know what I'm going to enjoy this," Riser then repeatedly strikes Issei on his face.

Riser continued this for a while getting in a few slaps, Kicks, and insults in the process then says as his mood lightens after beating Issei to a pulp.

Riser then grabs Issei by the neck lifting him in the air, "once I kill you I am going to love seeing the despair on Rias face along with that bishop after I took your corpse to them."

Riser then began to squeeze but noticed it was requiring a lot of force to crush a simple low-class devil's neck, Issei then slowly gabbed Riser's hand.

Riser looked at the hand in disgust then to his bewilderment Issei's hand an iron tight grip and his seemed sharper and resembled a dragon slightly.

Riser let go of Issei's neck as his hair cast a shadow over his eyes, Riser then attempted to pull himself from Issei's grasp to he couldn't break his grip then Riser struck his head using his forearm but it didn't lose only tighten.

Unknown to Riser Issei's gauntlet had been glowing faster and faster showing that he was boosting his power at a rapid rate, then Riser finally turns to the boosted gear hearing, "explosion.…transfer," Issei's grip loosens allowing Riser to pull his hand noting that Issei's hand had a red aura with incredible power inside.

Riser then smirk, "you can boost your power all you want I'll just regenerate, do you really think you can hurt," and to show how proud he was of his regeneration he opened his hand up wide to allow Issei to strike him.

Riser then felt something pierce his back and looked down to see a black and white sword sticking out of his stomach, he looked back to see Kiba panting heavily with his right arm being completely broken along with numerous major bruises all over his body, "do you really think you can hurt me with something like this," says Riser looking at the sword with an amused smirk still with his hands open wide.

Kiba's eyes were lifeless but when Riser said that something awoken in them as his grip tightens then in a strained voice says with a smirk, "let's find out."

Riser raised an eyebrow as a chill ran up his spine, the white portion of the sword started to glow golden then something appeared in corner of an eye he looked to see Koneko who had multiple holes in her body, her clothes were also torn with blood running down her mouth.

Riser's eyes went wide as he clenched his teeth in frustration then he looked to issei as surprise formed on his face it was Issei's eyes they were slits resembling that of a dragon. Issei then said as his fist came closer to Riser's chest with Koneko's right hand glowing blue and with Kiba's sword glowing more brightly, "yes this is definitely going to hurt."
