Chapter 19: Putting Everything on the Line

Earlier with Kiba

After growing Karlamine toward Koneko he immediately dashed into the forest to intercept Siris, he didn't know what they were planning but he figured it had to do with whatever Ravel gave her.

And assessed it was probably a veil of Phenex tears since they believed that Ravel and the queen had the tears, Kiba then started jumping from tree to tree in an attempt to catch up with the girl.

After a few seconds of running through the trees he finally saw Siris running a few feet in front of him, Kiba draws his sword then in an attempt to slow her down and he throws it at her.

But he wasn't skilled at throwing the sword but does grab her attention as her eyes narrow finally noticing that she was being followed, Siris looks down at the veil then back to Kiba, and decides to follow Ravel's orders and get the tears to Yubelluna.

Siris continues running and reaches the clearing where Akeno and Yubelluna were fighting, she pauses to Kiba's interest as he closed in on her then she darts to the right.

Kiba reaches the clearing then looks to where Siris went and saw Akeno and Yubelluna fighting in the sky, "is that holy lightning," says Kiba watching the golden lighting strike from Akeno's hand toward Yubelluna.

Kiba's eyes then trace down and see Siris running toward Yubelluna, Kiba then darts toward Siris in an attempt to stop her, Yubelluna dives slightly to dodge a bolt of holy lighting from Akeno who was sweating profusely.

It was obvious that she was nearing her limit with using the holy lighting but Yubelluna was also tired as well at first Akeno's holy lighting was slower than normal lighting but as the battle progressed she got faster and faster.

There were also a few times she got struct which made every fiber of her being scream in agony but she did have one ace left up her sleeve, she glanced in her robe to see five teleportation circles she didn't think she would need them but she needed to wrap this up so she could protect Riser.

While glancing down she also noticed Siris running toward her with Kiba following behind and her closing in quickly, she then looks back toward Akeno who had glanced down then back to her.

Akeno smirked with Yubelluna narrowing her eyes, both of Akeno's hands started to spark golden, with Yubelluna mouthing you wouldn't dare, making Akeno smirk even wider.

Akeno then shot a bolt of holy lighting toward Yubelluna and Siris, with Yubelluna screaming at her to look out while she created a barrier to block the attack.

Siris looks up in the nick of time and lunges backward dodging the attack, she looked up toward Akeno with a glare, who just smiled with her eyes glancing backward then back toward Yubelluna. Siris instinctively crunches down to dodge an attack from Kiba attempting to knock her out using the blunt side of her sword.

Siris draws her sword with Kiba smirking while bowing slightly, "I would like to continue our fight," Siris tightens her grip on the veil but figures that she would need to defeat Kiba in order to help Yubelluna and give her the tears, "Kiba…correct, I am going to cut you in two then go help my queen."

Even though she said that she was skeptical about it actually happening, he was able to hold his own against her and Karlamine, Siris then readied herself for combat the two stared at each other for a second.

Then disappear in a blur as both use the speed of their pieces to their max to gain the edge over the other and anytime Kiba when attempts to slice Siris she would parry with grace with something happening and vice versa.

To the untrained eye, it would appear that Kiba was slightly stronger than Siris but that couldn't be further from the truth, to be blunt Kiba was the better swordsman.

Kiba parry's a sword strike aimed for his neck then counters by slashing her lower abdomen making Siris jump back attempting to stop the bleeding with her hand, Kiba then got in a stance ready to cut Siris down and go back and help Koneko and Issei but looks up when he sees Akeno fall to the ground a few feet to his left.

Siris then used that moment to throw Yubelluna the extra Phenex tears while Kiba was momentarily distracted, "Yubelluna," cries Siris as she throws the Phenex tears.

Yubelluna smirks and catches the veil opening it and dropping the tear on her shoulder as her wounds heal, Yubelluna then looks to Akeno who flies back into the air to fight her.

Akeno is physically and mentally exhausted she had to fight Yubelluna from square one again, the big strike she used earlier drained a portion of her reserves and the holy lighting was draining a lot as well.

Plus the attack was a little slower so it made it harder to hit Yubelluna but thanks to her being exhausted as well she was able to land a few critical hits but now that she was completely healed that would ten times harder to hit her.

Yubelluna twirls her staff and fires three explosion spells toward Akeno with her flying out of the way to dodge and throwing a regular bolt of lightning toward Yubelluna.

With Yubelluna creating a barrier to block the strike, "you're getting slower Akeno my victory is inevitable," says Yubelluna as Akeno lets out a deep breath she was right at this point Akeno was basically running on fumes and felt like she could collapse at any second.

But she did have a last-ditch attempt she was more than willing to do but she would have to get up close and personal with Yubelluna to do it this means she was going to be taking more damage but in order to defeat Yubelluna she was willing to take that chance.

Akeno then flies high into the sky, "running now are we," says Yubelluna as she follows Akeno higher into the sky, then fires explosion spells toward Akeno as she flies higher toward the sky.

Akeno then turns around in the sky and flies directly toward Yubelluna below her, "now you want to fly towards me to make it easier for me to hit you?"

Yubelluna fires off a horde of explosion spells as Akeno dodges and weaves her attacks then Akeno's hands start to spark making Yubelluna think that she was going to fire a lightning attack.

"That's right get closer half blood so I can blow you to ashes, " Akeno was a few feet above Yubelluna still unaware of what Akeno's plan was, Yubelluna fires another attack and hits Akeno dead center, "gotcha," says Yubelluna twirling her staff, waiting for the cloud of smoke to dissipate then Akeno flies out of the smoke smashing directly into Yubelluna.

"What the hell do you think you are doing," Akeno smiles seductively as a crazed look forms on her face, "I can't beat you but I can at least take you with me," Akeno's hand starts to spark more ferociously making Yubelluna worry what she might do.

"Dam you bitch let me go," Yubelluna jams her elbow into Akeno's back over and over again to get her to let go but Akeno doesn't let go and continues to tackle Yubelluna toward the ground.

Akeno's body then starts to spark in a less spectacular way than how Anos did back during their training session, Yubelluna's eyes bulge, "what the hell are you trying to blow yourself up."

But she just giggles in delight but in truth, she was too exhausted to speak and she was using all her concentration to charge as much electricity through her body.

After Anos did something similar she was curious why of all people he mouth to her, "this is true lightning," was it a clue to getting stronger, or was he just messing with her.

She wanted to ask him but never worked up the courage to do it and kept her thoughts to herself but she couldn't lie at that moment she was amazed at Anos control over, lighting, it danced around him graciously.

It was like her own but more controlled, pinpoint, and obviously more powerful, she wasn't envious or jealous Akeno just had one thought going through her mind, "true lighting."

After that Akeno tried to replicate something like that but on a much smaller scale with little to no success, anytime she tried to create something similar she would just blow herself up.

But now Akeno would use her less than successful attempts to do something she has failed countless times before the rating game but this time she wanted it to fail because she wouldn't be blowing herself up but Yubelluna as well.

The lighting around Akeno's body starts to spark more causing her body to glow brighter and brighter to Yubelluna's horror as she frantically attempted to free herself from Akeno's grasp.

Then in a flash of white and electricity with a loud boom at the end signaling that both girls slammed into the ground, Kiba and Siris stop fighting with their attention being diverted toward the fight between both queens as Akeno goes flying through the rubble along with Yubelluna going in the opposite direction but she catches herself and flies into the sky with scorch marks on her body, "what the absolute fuck are you insane?"

Akeno attempted to stand and drops to a knee with Yubelluna taking the opportunity to finish off Akeno, Kiba looked up to Yubelluna who was building up magic in her staff to launch an attack toward Akeno struggling to stand.

Kiba then created his barrier sword and implanted it into the ground as a green magic line flowed from the sword toward Akeno while Yubelluna's attack soared toward Akeno at the same time.

Kiba's attention is diverted when Siris pounces on him to stop whatever he was doing, Kiba then removed one of his hands from the sword to create a demonic sword to block Siris attack but he was a little too slow creating it.

As the weight of Siris sword slammed against his making her sword cut in his shoulder making him clench his teeth in pain then there was a loud bang and a cloud of smoke Akeno was lying on the ground but luckily she was still conscious.

Kiba needed to help Akeno but first he had to deal with Siris who had part of her sword in his shoulder, she was putting as much weight as she could then Kiba knees her in the stomach where he slashed her earlier.

He pushes her off and dashes toward Yubelluna who was preparing another attack at Akeno who was barely conscious and said, "this was fun but it's time I end this now."

The tip of Yubelluna's staff started to glow as a red magic circle formed, she then fired off a burst of explosive magic toward Akeno who in a desperate attempt tried to create a barrier.

Then a few seconds before the attack would have hit Kiba steps in front of it with his black and white katana, Akeno's eyes go wide as Kiba tosses her his barrier sword in an attempt to help Akeno block the attack.

As the attack neared the black side of the sword started to glow a black aura and in less than a second Kiba reflects the attack but unfortunately, his sword wasn't able to reflect the full attack.

As the remainder of Yubelluna's attack connects with Kiba and blows him up, Yubelluna smiles at her handy work but that smile is short-lived as a burst of magic shoots toward her.

She hastily raises a barrier in an attempt to block the attack and was partially successful in her attempt as she still gets blown up by her own attack. The smoke dies down to reveal Kiba breathing heavily with scorch marks on his clothes, he then looks down to Akeno, "you rest I will take it from here."

Kiba then stands in front of Akeno with Katana in his right hand along with the rapier in his left, Yubelluna lands on the ground next to Siris and says to Kiba, "and what exactly are you going to do with those."

Kiba looks back to Akeno and smirks, "don't worry Akeno allow your knight to tag in for the moment," Kiba then turns back to Yubelluna and Siris with a smirk and says, "as a knight, it is my job to be the sword to protect my friends so we will be your opponents."

Yubelluna and Siris raise an eyebrow as mist forms next to Kiba and after a few seconds forms into another Kiba, he then hands his sword to the clone and creates his two katanas for himself, "my clone isn't anywhere near Koneko's but thanks to her I managed to create my own. My clone represents twenty-five percent full strength."

Kiba then points to Siris and the clone lunges toward her with Kiba taking on Yubelluna, "not even your queen could defeat me what does a simple knight think he can do against me?"

"We shall see," Kiba then dashes toward Yubelluna as she shoots an explosion spell at him, Kiba then crosses his swords on his chest making an X then swipes at the attack, redirecting it in full force back at Yubelluna.

Yubelluna's eyes go wide in surprise now realizing how she got it last time but she flies up to dodge the attack with Kiba extending his wings to keep her on the ground where he was better suited.

Yubelluna fires off a flurry of attacks with Kiba using his swords to redirect them back at her or absorbing them to full up with a counter-attack, Yubelluna was now getting pissed off acting she threw at the boy would get absorbed or throw it back at her, even her larger explosion wasn't working because Kiba would use both swords to redirect them back at her.

Kiba was now getting faster as he was covering the distance between him and Yubelluna in the sky, Yubelluna was now getting frantic to think a simple knight could dodge her attacks and give her so much trouble.

During the training session, Kiba had spent the majority of his time fighting the wooden golem and working with Koneko in secret to create a clone of his own, but the true reason for his rise in strength was due to the wooden golem.

For seven days straight Kiba was fighting and anytime he lost to a golem, he would have to think of new ways to defeat it, he swung his sword faster in order to overcome the golem that match his after every defeat, he had to run faster in order to surpass the golem any time it matched his speed during fights.

So to this day Kiba has lost to the golem 349 times and has won 253 times, and for those 602 spars Kiba was getting faster, his swordsmanship was getting sharper, and he could swing his sword faster than before and it was showing.

As Yubelluna continued to fight on the defensive as she kept getting pushed to the edge, Kiba then swiped his sword toward Yubelluna as a burst of magic sores toward her in the barrier that she created, Yubelluna then growls at Kiba and says with deep annoyance, "why do fight so hard…can't you all see that my master is giving you all a great honor?"

For a moment Kiba's warm eyes and smile disappear for the briefest of seconds and responds to her, "I have sworn to my king to defend her with my sword and I don't care if I am fighting you or gods I will not give up. And that is why you will lose this battle…" Yubelluna raises an eyebrow while Kiba continues.

"My friends and I are ready to lay down our lives and do everything we can to win but unlike you and you're companions who do not have determination but we do," Yubelluna tightens her grip on her staff as her eyes turn to Akeno who was attempting to heal her wounds with healing magic as a malicious grin form on her face.

"You may be able to evade and counter my attacks but I doubt your queen will be able to given the state she is in," Yubelluna then points her staff toward Akeno as Kiba snaps his head down toward Akeno who was unaware of the danger.

Yubelluna's staff starts to glow with a magic circle forming at the tip, Kiba then dives toward Akeno in an attempt to shield her from the blast.

Akeno looks up noticing a bright light headed towards her then she looks up noticing Kiba flying towards her with panic in his eyes, the blast engulfs them both as a dust cloud covers them.

Yubelluna patiently awaits but decides that they could be planning something and starts to fire off a barrage of explosion spells where they were knocking up dust and debris in the process.

After a few hammering them with explosion spells she stops to see the fruits of her labor, Kiba then dashes toward Yubelluna in a burst of speed with bumps and bruises on him and brings his sword down on Yubelluna who is caught off guard by Kiba's attack.

Yubelluna raises her staff to block both of Kiba's swords aimed for her torso, "did you really think you could catch me catch me off guard," says Yubelluna as she pushes Kiba off her. She smirks then something sharp piece's her back as she starts to feel lightheaded as the pain in her back intensifies to new heights.

She turns her head to see another Kiba piercing her with a completely bleeding broken right arm along with a rapier that was injecting something into her, Yubelluna attempted to stay something but felt her throat swelling up making it hard to breathe.

"I injected you with the poison of an Inland Taipan enough to kill a hundred men, and I just injected you with three times the normal amount. Without treatment you will die in 10 minutes," Kiba removes his sword and kicks Yubelluna in the back sending her to the ground with a thud.

She struggles to her feet with her staff but her limbs were going numb, Kiba then lands a few feet in front of her and she says in a labored voice, "impossible simple poison can't affect me this much and where is Siris?"

"You're right normally it wouldn't but, the poison from this sword uses my own magic basically turning it into poison magic," Kiba then points to the left where Siris was lying on the ground foaming at the mouth, and twitching every few seconds.

Yubelluna attempted to stand but lost feeling in her legs, Kiba then slowly approached her while talking in a calm tone to Yubelluna, "you may be wondering how I beat you if you were paying close attention to what I was doing then you would have noticed my clone already defeated Siris."

During the entire fight between him and Yubelluna Kiba had been deliberately keeping her attention on him and not Siris who had already been defeated by his clone and was waiting for the right opportunity to strike.

Then after the dust cloud created by Yubelluna's barrage, it allowed the real Kiba to use that as a screen to mask him and the clone switching positions allowing him to sneak up behind and stabbed her in the back with his rapier while the clone held her attention, after Kiba's explanation she couldn't even muster enough strength to show her surprise and anger.

Kiba then dropped his rapier deciding to finish her off with a regular demonic sword as his clone disappears, "I would ask and last words but you are in too much pain to understand me," Kiba then stabs Yubelluna in the stomach twisting the sword to cause as much internal damage as possible then pulls it out, leaving Yubelluna falling over her stomach in a pool of blood.

Kiba drops to a knee as his exhaustion and wounds finally catch hip with him, "that took everything out of me," says Kiba as he creates a sword using it as a crutch and walks toward where he hid Akeno.

She was lying behind a large stone with multiple bruises on her body, "hey Akeno come on just hang on a little longer so Asia can heal you," "one of Lord Risers Knights has retired along with his queen," says Grayfia as Akeno's body starts to glow, "I think its too late for me Kiba but bring out your katana I have an idea."

Kiba creates his katana as Akeno uses the time she has left to pour her holy lighting into the sword to Kiba's surprise, he wasn't surprised that she putting her magic into the sword but more so that the sword could absorb the holy element than her body is engulfed in blue light then disappears.

"Lady Rias queen has been retired," says Grayfia as Kiba looks down at his sword putting it on his hip while using his other sword as a crutch to make his way to where Rias and Riser were.

Earlier with Koneko

Ni turns to go run but almost at the same there was a gust of wind and a loud crack, Ni slowly turns around to look at her sister but what she sees horrifies her. Koneko had her knee implanted into Li's face, her arms lifeless fall to her side with blood trickling down from where Koneko's knee was implanted.

Koneko uses Li's head and jumps off it back into the middle of the of where everyone was circling her, Ni nervously walked toward her sister. Her eyes were lifelessly looking up to the sky as her body started to glow blue as it disappeared with Grayfia saying, "one of Risers rooks has been retired."

Koneko then follows up by saying grabbing all the girl's dumbstruck attention, "if you all want to leave you are going to have to retire me," Koneko then cracks her knuckles emphasizing that it wouldn't be easy to make her retire.

Ni looked down at the three summoning papers tucked inside her clothes, her sister had two. She just had to find the right time to use them on Koneko. Ravel cautiously watches Koneko as she looks over everyone with her eyes then Koneko says, "fine I'll attack first," Koneko then lunges toward the closest person happened to be Ni.

Koneko was about to strike Ni directly in the face but she was momentarily distracted when she started smiling as there was a bright light and right after she felt agonizing pain in the stomach she looked down to see two holy swords in her stomach.

Koneko dropped to a knee and coughed up blood while attempting to take out the swords but Ni stops her by kicking her in the face. Everyone looks to Ni in surprise and she answers their surprise by saying, "don't worry this was a backup plan set by Lord Riser."

Ni then pulls out two more, "if we want to kill this bitch we will need these," everyone nods in agreement except for Ravel who is too stunned to speak. After finally getting over being momentarily stunned Ravel then says to try and stop the others from killing Koneko, "wait a minute we don't have to kill her we can just knock her out."

But everyone just ignores her and prepares to take down Koneko for what she did to Li, while they were talking Koneko had pulled out of the swords and was working out pulling out the other but is stopped as Isabela slams her fist into Koneko's face then follows it up with a gut shot where one of the swords went into her stomach.

Koneko glares at Ni and says in a strained voice, "where did you get holy swords," Ni smirk maliciously as she casually walked toward Koneko who was bleeding out due to the hole in her stomach.

Ni pulled out another slip as it started to glow, "we got it from the church you guys raided a while back, lucky for us there were plenty of holy swords left behind for us to use. At first, I was a little apprehensive about using them but after what you did to my sister I can so I have no regrets and now I look forward to your death."

Koneko then used every ounce of her strength to pull out the sword but wasn't fast enough to heal her wounds, Ni then threw the paper past Koneko as four more swords pierced her back causing steam to rise as holy attribute burned her insides.

Koneko had been slashed from holy swords before, she even asked Anos one time during training to burn her so she knew what it felt like but this was different she was exposed to more of the holy magic than she had ever been.

It also didn't help that anytime she tried to pull them someone would stop her prolonging the torture, Isabela and Ni lift Koneko to her feet and drag her toward Ravel, "here lady Ravel punish her for what she did to Li."

Ravel clenched her fist and closed her eyes trying to get rid of Koneko's bleeding form from her face, Ravel knew this was going too far before Li got retired she was still alive so there was no need to kill Koneko, plus it felt like cheating to use holy swords which aren't banned but it still felt wrong.

Ravel was about to say something but stopped when Grayfia spoke, "one of Lord Risers Knights has retired along with his queen." Then a few seconds later she says, "Lady Rias queen has been retired," Ravel widens her eyes in surprise and while the girls were distracted she took this opportunity to speak to everyone.

Ravel looked down at the barely conscious Koneko then she looked in her eyes that showed she was barely conscious, "no just knock her out and retire her already so we can join up with my brother."

Ni was about to protest along with everyone present but Ravel's eyes narrowed dangerously signaling that she wasn't asking, she was telling and all the girls took the hint.

Isabela was about to hit Koneko and knock her completely until Koneko's body started glowing blue with all four swords shooting out her back. Koneko then stood slowly to everyone's bewilder-meant since just moments ago she could barely stand.

Then in a burst of power, her aura erupts throwing everyone to the ground and to their knees due to the pressure, "I was trying to save this for Riser," say's Koneko in a low whisper.

"But congratulations, you all pushed me to the edge," Koneko then disappeared two loud crashes were heard moments later, Ravel didn't even have time to react honestly no one did in less than two seconds Koneko grabbed Isabela and Ni slamming both their heads together, Karlamine then lunged to, and Koneko in a burst in an attempt to cut Koneko down the middle but Koneko easily catches the sword then a slight squeeze she shatters the sword-like glass.

But before Karlamine could react to her sword being broken Koneko flips behind her and plats the heel of her feet directly into Karlamine's back putting her in a massive crater, Koneko senses scream that something is coming from the right, it was Mihae she fired a fireball toward Koneko.

But she would soon learn it was a waste of time and magic as Koneko takes the attack in full force, then dashes toward Mihae delivering an ax kick to her collar bone-cracking it making her eyes roll backwards and fall unconscious due to the pain.

The blue aura around Koneko died down as she let a deep breath, Koneko was exhausted and in pain, she didn't even notice Ravel cautiously walk up behind her until she tapped her shoulder.

"Hey, Koneko are you alright you looked pretty banged up here let me help," Ravel then attempted to heal the holes in Koneko's back, "what are you doing fried chicken, healing me could increase our chances of winning?"

Ravel sighed and just continued healing Koneko's wounds, "I told you not to call me that, and is it so wrong to help a friend. Now be still some of these are really bad am I'm not too good at healing magic."

Koneko shrugs her shoulder feeling an intense pain then hears Ravel say, "well I've done the best I can go…I Ravel Phenex request to retire." Koneko looks over her shoulder at Ravel in slight surprise as her body starts to glow, "let me formally apologize for what my brother did, and plus I can't let my rival die before I claim victory."

Ravel then disappears along with the remains of Riser's Peerage as Grayfia says, "the remainder of Lord Riser's peerage has been retired." Koneko was still hurting her wounds were barely healed then she turned her attention toward the gym and noticed Kiba limping using his sword to keep him from falling as he went in a smilier direction.

Transition to the Venue

"Lord Phenex what is the meaning of Riser having using holy swords," demands Lord Gremory as Lady Gremory tugs his sleeve to calm him down, "I don't know I don't even know how or where he got them."

"Well they are technically aren't against the rules," says Lord Bael earning a raised eyebrow from both families. "But it is unsightly to use such things even in an informal rating game such as this but how did he get holy swords," Sirzechs then says under his breath, "could it have been from that church but how," but Zekram heard loud and clear.

"Oh, do you mean that church your sister raided a while ago," Lord Bael says causing Sizechs to raise an eyebrow as he turns his head slowly toward him, "and would you know that those files have been kept secret?"

"I am the head of the devil council so everything that involves the underworld always finds its way to my desk and plus the only thing confidential about the file was the information regarding your sister resurrecting the Red Dragon Emperor as her servant."

Sirzhechs right eye twitches slightly he had gone through great lengths to keep that information hidden until the rating game when it would come out, "that information did not concern the underworld it happened on earth outside your expertise."

Zerkrams eyes narrow, "considering reincarnating one of the heavenly dragons could tip the balance of power in the supernatural world and I would say that very much concerns the underworld."

Sirzechs sighs and crosses his arms, "well even if those are the same swords from the church how did Riser find them," then in a matter-of-fact tone Zekram says, "it came up in a conversation between Riser and me."

"Excuse me how does something like that come up in a conversation," Zekram snorts, "now that information is confidential but rest assured I did not give him the idea to use holy swords in this rating game." Sirzech eyes narrow slightly, "we will discuss this in detail later."

Flash Back Two Days Before the Rating Game

Issei was sitting on his bed trying to clear his mind before the game, ever since Anos told them their training was over and that they should take the last two days to rest and prepare for the game.

Issei sits up and looks at the clock it was 12:15 pm, everyone was off preparing for the game and he was just laying in the bed at the mansion thinking of how he was lacking behind everyone else.

Compared to everyone else he thought he was lacking behind, Koneko was really strong, Kiba was really good with the sword, Akeno was really good with her lighting magic, and Asia was the weakest physically out of everyone but was very capable with her sacred gear.

Issei then looked down at his sacred gear and said, "hey Ddraig is there anything I can do to get stronger and quickly?" The gauntlet appears on his arm as the green orb on the top glows, "yes and no," Issei cocks his head in confusion as Ddraig continues.

"Anos Gremory has trained you the best the could and to be honest I am surprised you progressed this far but even after all that training you still lack the power to defeat him by yourself.

"Issei sighs, "thanks so you're basically saying it's hopeless," "no I'm not if you desire power I could turn part of your body into a dragon, and depending on the body part you won't feel a thing but it could also be lethal."

A bright smile forms on Issei's face at the prospect of getting stronger then says with a lot of excitement, "yes make me into a full dragon," "do you have trash for brains turning your entire body can be lethal ask for a different body part."

Issei nervously scratches his head and glands at his opposite arm and considers turning his arm, "hey Ddraig would turning my arm hurt," "no that would probably be one of the easiest to change with no side effects."

Then another thought pops in his head, what would be the most lethal and hardest, "if an arm would be easier what would be the hardest," "the heart or the brain," Issei was going to ask why but Ddraig was already going to, "a dragons heart is far stronger than any other living thing on this planet so I wouldn't be changing just your heart but I would to change a large portion of your body to accommodate for that and starts with destroying your heart which is highly lethal.

As for your brain, a dragon's brain has three more senses than your average human or devil also I would need to adjust portions of your head to accommodate for the extra senses. So death could come from sensory overload and I can say from experience it is a very painful death."

Issei pales a little while rubbing his head heart thinking that it would be very painful and squeezes his shirt, "okay I want you to change my heart." There was an awkward silence as Ddraig goes silent and Issei coughs in an attempt to see if Ddraig heard him but if Ddraig did he didn't make it known.

"Ummm…Ddraig did you hear me," "did I not say it was lethal," Issei's throat dries up at Ddraig's tone and says softly, "yeah but you didn't say impossible and I figured if you knew all of that then you must have done it before."

"I have done it only twice and have only succeeded once," "yea but you still haven't said its impossible," Ddraig growls scaring Issei slightly, "if I do this are you prepared to die because if I fail this will be painful are you sure you wanna do this ?"

Issei clenches his first and says in a tone so serious that for a moment Ddraig didn't even recognize me, "yes, I am more than willing to die for Rias."

Ddraig chuckles making Issei raise an eyebrow, "I like you drive, it seems you do have a few redeeming qualities. Fine I will take extra care to make sure not to fail." Issei nods then say, "thanks so what do I need to do first," "first I need to break your body then build it back up so it can support the new heart."

Issei was gonna ask should he stand or do something else but then he lost feeling in all his muscles then body and mentally screamed to Ddraig, "I can't feel anything," "I did that so you don't scream it will be distracting," then Issei felt pain unlike any other when his ribs started cracking along with skin getting stretched to support his larger arteries and veins running thought his body but that wasn't the end as a lot of his muscles were and bones started to crack and expand.

If Issei could scream the entire mansion would know how much in pain he was but mentally he was screaming with all his might and muttering curses to Ddraig for doing this.

Transition Back to the Rating Game

Riser's eyes went wide as he clenched his teeth in frustration then he looked to issei as surprise formed on his face it was Issei's eyes they were slits resembling that of a dragon.

Issei then said as his fist came closer to Riser's chest with Koneko's right hand glowing blue and with Kiba's sword glowing more brightly, "yes this is definitely going to hurt."

A burst of lighting erupted from Kiba's sword as every fiber of Riser's being was screaming in pain, while the holy element took its course wearing Riser down and momentarily halting his regeneration.

Kiba removed the sword and rolled out of the way as Koneko delivers a punch to Riser's temple making him drop a knee feeling intensely lightheaded but he could tell it wasn't from the punch itself.

But that didn't end as Issei delivered a punch to Riser's chest crushing all the bones in his chest making Riser for the first time in his life feel pain unlike another.

As his body is sent flying off the roof into the forest planting him in an enormous crater, Issei's body feels heavy as waves of exhaustion come over making him drop to a knee.

Koneko and Kiba limp to the left and right of him as Koneko says in a labored voice, "nice punch but what happened to Rias," Kiba glances after finally noticing the state Rias was in, "I don't know one minute she was about to attack then she dropped to her knees and started coughing blood and complaining about her head. Asia is attempting to heal her but it looks like it's taking longer than usual."

The three of them look back to the crater as they hear rustling from rocks being moved, Issei stands as Koneko cracks her fingers creating two clones as Kiba creates a demonic sword, "hey we are gonna need more clones Koneko."

Koneko glances at Issei, "I have been pierced numerous times by holy swords, it is taking a lot of focus just to talk right now." "Oh sorry but what's the plan Kiba," Kiba arches his eyebrow, "plan why are you asking me," "I mean I'm no good with plans, and Koneko just said she is too tired to speak soo…" Kiba nods finally understanding why he asked.

"Okay well his regeneration should be slowed but I doubt it's completely gone and I am betting that it's probably slowly returning as we speak but that can also be our time limit for how long we got."

"I can…increase that if you…can give me five minutes," says Koneko releasing her ears and tail, "okay well there's the plan, Issei and I will buy you two minutes then we go from there."

Riser emerges from the crater with bloodshot eyes as he twitches every now and then from the electricity in his body, "Issei how long can you start boosting," "I will need a minute sorry," "no it's fine," Issei looks at Kiba's arm that was turning blue and purple, "how long can you fight with one arm?"

Issei, Kiba, and Koneko jump off the building and walk toward Riser, "I think the status of my arm is irrelevant at the moment but I thank you for your concern. But I think it's time we cut this chat and prepare to face Riser, Koneko start with your preparations, Issei you're with me let's buy her as much time as we can. Okay, guys, it's time to finish this here and now and Riser wants to rob our king of her happiness I say let's show him our true power and put everything on the line and hold nothing back," Koneko and Issei nod in agreement.

Koneko clones stand on her right and left as she opens her palm as one forms numerous hand seals while another starts pouring magic into her hand. Kiba and Issei walk toward Riser who was limping toward them with his aura flaring out making both boys back away slowly from the pressure but steel their hearts as they prepare to attack.

"All three of your worms are dead Riser was going to turn you into slaves but I think death is a far better punishment for you all." Issei and Kiba look to Riser's chest and stomach where he got stabbed noticing that he had stopped bleeding and the fist mark left by Issei was slowly reforming.

Issei and Kiba run toward Riser as ignites both his fist in a burst of flames, Kiba slides under Riser's punch and slashes his stomach while Issei uses his gauntlet to block the fist aimed at his head making his knees buckle from the force.

Riser grits his teeth in pain after feeling pain in his calf then looks down to see a sword sticking out, "you insolent piece of trash," says Riser as he glares at Kiba and then kicks him away.

But his attention is diverted as Issei pulls his arm, "don't you know you should never take your eyes off your appointment they could do stupid shit like this," says Issei as he flips Riser over his shoulder.

Slamming him to the ground then twists his body around swinging Riser around in a circle then letting him go flying into the forest cracking trees in the process. Kiba lunges back to Issei after being kicked away further injuring him in the process, "nice throw you looked completely winded earlier but it seems you are better now."

Issei nervously looks at his heart, "looks like I'm not as tired as I thought but let's keep the pressure on, the more we injure this fool the faster we can make him retire."

Kiba then sees a flicker of light from the forest and creates his barrier sword without a moment to waste engulfing him and Issei in a barrier.

A burst of fire engulfs the entire the barrier and after a few seconds the attack stops with Kiba dropping the barrier, "boost," says Ddraig as the boosted gear glows with Issei feeling strength enter his body, "nice it looks likes I'm back in action."

Kiba suddenly drops to a knee as he starts to succumb to his injuries, "whoah Kiba are you okay," "yeah just a little tired that barrier sword uses my own magic to create the barriers and it's very draining."

Riser roars from the forest grabbing their attention, "well can you stand," Kiba smirks, "oh yeah I have plenty enough strength to fight," while this was all happening Asia has been desperately trying to heal Rias but she wasn't getting any better but she did stop the bleeding but that was the only positive thing about the situation.

Rias said her heart was burning but it didn't seem like her sacred gear was doing anything to help, Asia glances to where her friends were fighting watching Issei and Kiba attempting to fight Riser.

She knows she has to hurry this up so she can help them out to make it easier to fight but unless she figures out what's wrong with Rias she can't leave her because they might retire her just because she can't fight then an idea pops in her idea.

Riser was absolutely livid for the first time in his life he knew two things, one what it felt like to truly want to murder someone and two was knowing what pain was like. His regeneration has been slowed due to the holy lighting but it hasn't been stopped completely and by the second it was retuning.

Kiba leans backward dodging a punch from Riser and spins around slashing his lower abdomen as Issei attempts to block a kick and is sent flying back a few feet as Riser is given a few seconds of breathing room and brings both fists down on Kiba.

Kiba rolls out the way trying his best to avoid rolling on his broken arm, Riser flares his burning aura knocking Kiba back. He glances back seeing Issei attempting to lend assistance and extends his flaming wings slapping him away but he diverts his attention from Kiba who was struggling to stand.

Issei lands on his feet but his vision is engulfed in flames as Riser tosses a fireball at him, Issei's body burns but Riser wasn't done as he sends a flaming fist to his face sending him flying.

Riser looks between both boys who were struggling to stand, "so which one of you should I kill fist, the one-armed swordsman or the pathetic dragon."

His attention is diverted when three Koneko's come dashing toward him just a few yards away, "and what are you going to do little girl," the clones on Koneko's right and left dashes faster taking the lead from the slower original.

They pounce at Riser attempting to act as a distraction but he was done with playing with clones and wanted to squeeze the life out of the original. Riser extends his wings and dashes flies toward Koneko past the two clones as Koneko's eyes narrow, she only has one chance to get this right or it will be a complete waste.

Riser had his fist cocked back ready to punch Koneko directly in the face, she was prepared to dodge but thanks to her wounds she stumbles slightly but enough to throw off her balance and timing.

She mentally curses herself as she attempts to regain her balance but it wasn't enough as Riser's enflamed fist is mere inches from her face. Then Riser's entire body is engulfed in a bolt of lighting stopping his movements from the sudden shock to his body, if his regeneration was at full power he wouldn't have felt such an attack.

As Riser is momentarily stunned Koneko takes the opportunity to vault herself over Riser twisting her body and seeing an all too familiar sprite dragon releasing a current of electricity out its mouth making a soft smile form on her face.

She then looks back to Riser and then releases the illusion on her right hand revealing a sphere of blue energy the size of a baseball. Koneko then says in soft whisper in honor of the move she learned from a blonde boy, "Senjutsu style…Rasengan."

The ball wasn't the same size as one of her favorite anime characters but it would still back enough power to deal massive damage, she slams the small Rasengan into Riser's back.

Riser lets out a scream he has never before but Koneko's attack wasn't done she forces the attack deeper into his back forcing his entire body into the ground.

Destroying skin and bone creating a shock wave of wind, leaves, and dirt all around, as the energy from the Rasengan dies down Koneko leaps leaving a Riser implanted in the ground as Kiba and Issei walk up behind her.

"Is that it is he down for good," says Issei in between deep breaths, Koneko shrugs, he wasn't moving then his arm twitched as the rest of his body starts to move as well. "Is that it, I thought...," but Riser stops as he feels something off he stands and looks to his back the scar was healing.

But his entire body was still in pain then his eyes widen when a dry smile formed on Koneko's face making Riser grind his teeth and attempt to walk toward them but drops to a knee in rage and yelled, "what the fuck did you do?"

Earlier in the Venue

To say everyone was thoroughly surprised would be an understatement, even Zekram who expected this to be a one-sided was battle found himself thoroughly invested in the outcome even though.

No one was speaking there wasn't even a word spoken when Ravel walked into the venue after being teleported out of the game.

It was hard to say when everyone had stopped talking, even Anos who had trained them couldn't definitively say for a fact that either Riser or Rias would win but he did feel proud of all of them especially Akeno finally took a step forward in getting over her past trauma.

Lord and Lady Phenex wanted their son to win but after watching Rias and peerage fight tooth and nail to win with raw determination even they couldn't feel somewhat sentimental. Lord and Lady Gremory were going through a swirl of emotions but mostly felt nervousness at Rias current state.

They had considered retiring her a few moments after she collapsed but Sirzechs said that it's probably just mana exhaustion. Due to over-exerting herself and he went further to state that people show symptoms of mana exhaustion in different ways but some people can still fight they just need time for their reserves to stabilize.

"Devil King Lucifer that may be true but the battle between Rias and Riser didn't last that long I doubt she used up her reserves that fast," says Zekram finding some holes in Sirzechs theory, "well it can be due to the fact that Rias has little stamina."

Says Anos adding his own theory to the table grabbing everyone's attention, "well allow me to explain, in your body is unable to withstand your power what do you do?"

"Simple you train your body until you are able to withstand your full power," say's Lord Phenex already having a feeling where this was going, "correct Lord Phenex, and also wrong at the same time."

Lord Phenex raises an eyebrow and then went further to explain while watching the monitors, "yes you can train your body until it is able to unleash your full power or you forcibly release it through emotions causing internal damage.

That is probably what we are seeing now but it's nothing serious it seems her body failed halfway through the process so I suspect that she will be fine but more importantly it seems they are about to attack Riser."

The room falls silent again as they watch on two separate monitors as Kiba and Koneko sneak up behind Riser and to his right then seemingly on cue when Issei snaps his head and grabs Riser's arm they leap into action.

They work together by temporarily degrading his ability to regenerate but it appears it was slowed successfully but it can be seen as the monitor zooms in on Riser's chest that he is indeed regenerating very slowly.

Kiba and Issei dash toward Riser and engage him but Koneko stays behind with two clones creating something small as time passes nothing happens.

Then a tiny blue orb started to form making Anos smirk in amusement and excitement, Grayfia was the first to notice and the smirk made her think something was up, "Lord Anos do you find something amusing about the game."

With everyone's attention now on Anos, he says, "no not particularity I just saw something amazing," Zekram and Sirzechs look to where Anos was looking and it was towards Koneko and her small orb.

"What is that," says SIrzechs, but Anos doesn't answer and everyone watches as Koneko finishes what she was doing and dashes toward the forest where Riser, Kiba, and Issei were fighting.

Then they watch in amazement and bewilderment as Koneko slams the small rod into Riser's back making him scream in pain planting him in another crater.

He stands to his family's relief but Riser stumbles to the ground again to the other's confusion his wounds were almost healed but he wasn't getting up, "what was that orb," says Ravel in a nervous tone wondering why her brother wasn't getting up, "some rare Nekomata have the ability to use Senjutsu and Koneko happens to be one of the rarest."

The three Phenex families' eyes widen in surprise along with Zekram's, "what type of Nekomata," demands Zekram slamming his fist onto his chair, "it better be," "a Nekoshou, and what are you gonna do if she is.

I have given that little girl my protection and the protection of the Gremory if you think about harming her you are going against your King," says Sirzechs in a threatening tone flaring just a tiny bit of his aura making Zekram tighten making him cough to clear it up.

Transition Back to the Rating Game

Riser stops as he feels something off he stands and looks to his back the scar was healing but his entire body was still in pain then his eyes widen when a dry smile from on Koneko making Riser grind his teeth and attempt to walk toward them but drops to a knee in rage and yells, "what the fuck did you do?"

"Wouldn't you like to know," Koneko then extends her palms toward Riser releasing an onslaught of blue flames at him, the burning from the flames was minuscule but he did feel pain deep within and he couldn't figure it out.

Now Riser was mad really mad, he didn't want to use his full power against worm, they didn't deserve it but it was time to teach them a lesson. He was Riser Phenex from the noble Phenex family and it was time these low-class reincarnated devils learned what that meant.

Riser's body started to steam and slowly different parts of his body started to ignite until his entire body was engulfed in hell fire, he then releases a pulse of flames from his body burning anything within ten feet of him.

Since they were within range the trio jumped back to dodge the pulse but Kiba was a little too slow and parts of his leg catch fire but gets put out before it causes further damage.

Koneko's eyes narrow and says, "stay on your toes I think he finally getting serious," Riser then does something that surprises Koneko he disappears in a flash.

She acts purely on instinct and pushes Kiba and Issei out of the way and delivers a fully enflamed punch to Koneko's stomach right where Issei was standing. But before Koneko could go flying backwards Riser catches her foot and slams her into the ground, plants his foot on her chest, and scoffs, "die."

Riser then extends both his hands toward Koneko's face roasting her alive, Issei tackles Riser off of Koneko but the damage was done. Koneko's face was completely black her beautiful white hair was gone and she was barely breathing, Kiba slides towards her with tears in his eyes, "hold on I will get you to Asia," Koneko's body starts to glow and she falls unconscious and disappears.

Issei's body was burning by the second, "partner stop if you continue to touch him," "stuff it Ddraig I can't let him get away with what he did to Koneko." Issei punches Riser in the gut but Riser barely flinches and brings but his hands down on Issei's back slamming him to the ground with a loud thud.

Riser then stomps Issei in the back repeatedly, Kiba lunges in the air bringing down a sword of ice on Riser but it shatters under his aura. Riser plants Issei under his foot and grabs Kiba, "look as I squeeze the life out of your friend here," Issei looks up out the corner of his to see Riser strangling Kiba with his right hand.

Kiba attempted to create swords but they all kept melting under the heat of Riser's enflamed body, "it's all up to you Issei," Kiba's eyes then slowly close then his entire body goes limp with him dropping the last sword he created.

Issei's eyes go dead and he stops trying to release himself from under Riser's heel, something pulses inside of Issei as his boosted gear starts to blink rapidly, "Issei can you hear," says Ddraig franticly having a bad feeling that his partner was about to enter juggernaut drive, "give me as much power as possible," says Issei in a soft whisper.

Ddraig lets on a sigh of relief knowing that if Issei was going into juggernaut drive he wouldn't be able to have a coherent conversation, "I have done as much as I could but it is all up to you...what do you want Issei," "what do I want shouldn't it be obvious," "no I want to hear you say it…scream it with all your heart…speak it into existence what do you want Issei?"

"I…I want to….no I am going to avenge my friends and beat this prick into the ground," says Issei in a roar of fury after Kiba's body is teleported away. The boosted gear starts to glow brighter after Issei's declaration causing Riser to stumble back from the blinding green light, "Welsh Dragon Balance Breaker," Roars Ddraig.

A Few Minutes Earlier with Rias

Rias had finally started showing signs that she was recovering and comes to her senses after feeling a familiar warm aura around her, "Asia is that you," says as her vision starts to clear bringing her surroundings into focus.

"Yes it's me Rias how are you feeling," and what is that on your shoulder, "oh it's Rassei I sent him to go help Issei and the others and he just returned a minute or so ago."

Rias rubs her head trying to remember what happened a lot was a blur, "Asia where is everyone," "they are off fighting Riser somewhere in the forest," says attempting to help Rias to her feet.

"Good as their king I need to go help them," Rias takes a step raising Asia's concern for her health even more, "Uhh...Rias I think you should rest a little." "I can't my friends need.."

"Rias rook has been retired," Rias snaps her around frantically, "where are they, Asia?" Asia then points to where Rassei came flying back to her from, "well come on they need us," Grayfia then says again, "Rias knight has been retired."

Rias eyes go wide and her expression changes from surprise to interest along with Asia, there was an unnatural aura emanating from the forest where they were fighting.

Then a bright green light like a beacon erupted from the forest then almost instantly there was an explosion of power that a shock wave from where the green light waves.

Riser is then sent flying out of the forest towards the sky a red blur follows right behind catching him and sending him further into the sky slamming into the barrier.

Riser from what they could see punches the man in red armor in the face sending him tumbling backward, as Riser sends a funnel of fire towards the man in amour but the man flies through the fire unhindered as if the fire didn't bother him.

Asia looks on in amazement and confusion about who the individual was and why they were helping them but Rias already knew who it was and at the moment was wondering how he achieved his balance breaker.

As Issei was flying through Riser's funnel of flames, Ddraig reminded Issei, "one minute left partner," "I thought it would be longer thanks to my new heart," "its thank to your heart that you are able to use it for a minute but try boosting your power it will be easier now."

Issei then subconsciously starts boosting his power of his own volition, *BOOST x10*, Issei breaks through Riser's flames and punches him directly in the face sending him toward the ground.

*50 seconds left*

Riser slams into the ground and Issei dives toward him and smirk forms on Riser's face, "partner his regeneration has returned," "no matter I will beat him into the ground." Issei slams into Riser's body sending up a gust of wind and dust.

*45 seconds left*

Riser goes flying out of the dust with Issei following pursuit grabbing his throat and delivering blow after blow to his face but each time Riser reiterates instantly.

*35 seconds left*

"Partner you are at 50 boosts what are you planning," "not now Ddraig I can't concentrate on fighting Riser and holding back all the power I collected and talk to you."

Riser catches Issei's punch and delivers his own to Issei's face cracking the armor slightly, then extends his wings and twist in the air altering their course in the sky pushing Issei to the ground. Riser drags Issei across the ground while attempting to strangle him to death, "why do you fight so hard."

*30 seconds left*

"Partner you are at thirty seconds use your tail to through him off of you." Following Ddraig's advice, Issei Issei wraps his tail around Riser's torso squeezing him tightly and throwing him from on top of him.

Issei runs toward Riser as he recovers from being thrown and hugs him tightly and uses the wings on his back to fly high into the sky.

*15 seconds left*

"Partner fifteen seconds left what's the plan," Issei doesn't answer and just continues the climb reaching the top of the barrier, "how many boost Ddraig," "you're at seventy."

Issei then punches Riser with as much force as he could sending him hurdling downward.

*10 seconds left*

Issei cocks his fist back creating a small red orb, "now transfer every last drop of power I have into this orb and I mean everything you can give," Ddraig smiles inside the gauntlet, "you got it TRANSFER," the orb then glows brighter than before resembling a red star.

*5 seconds left*

Issei then punches the orb with every ounce of force he could, Riser looked on in concern the power he sensed from the orb scared him deep downside.

The entire battlefield goes red sending a blinding light across the entire battlefield, it was quiet then there was a large boom followed by an earthquake obscuring all the monitors.

Asia and Rias couldn't see what was happening behind the barrier they created together and the blinding red light.

Transition to the Venue

In the venue, everyone looked on in anticipation waiting for the monitors to reveal what was the outcome, according to Grayfia who was monitoring everyone's vitals, she couldn't tell what happened because the sudden burst of power was messing with the monitors.

So everyone just had to wait until the monitors cleared up revealing what was happening, then one of the monitors cleared up but all it showed was a bunch of dust and debris, "Grayfia what's happening we can't see?"

Says Lady Gremory frantically looking between the screens that were showing static, "apologies ladies and gentlemen I have contacted Lady Sona and she is working on the issue."

In hindsight, the screens were only down for roughly ten seconds but when the match was so close, that ten seconds felt like ten minutes. All screens cut back on to reveal Issei hovering in the air panting intensely a drops a few times in the being too exhausted to stay in the sky.

In another was a massively deep crater too deep for the cameras to see the bottom, the camera zooms in to reveal a small spark at the bottom but it was still too deep but it is assumed to be Riser.

In another was Rias and Asia looking around at the devastated battlefield the entire battlefield was reduced to rubble after Issei's attack destroyed the main school building and old were reduced to rubble, and most of the trees had been knocked down due to the shock wave of Issei's attack.

Everyone in the venue was staring at the screens in utter surprise and amazement, "I have almost forgotten the destructive power of one of the Heavenly Dragons," says Zekram. Received unanimous nods from everyone else except for Anos who was staring at the screen with the crater more specifically the small light at the bottom.

Transition Back to the Rating Game

Issei has never felt exhaustion like this in his even the week of training he did was Anos wasn't compared to this, "partner how are feeling," "I'm fine I just want to go to sleep." Issei slowly decends to the ground using the last of his strength to not crash to the ground.

Rias and Asia watch Issei slowly defend to the ground and run to him sending him cheers but he doesn't respond due to being too exhausted to move and lands on the ground dropping to his knees and get tackled by both Asia and Rias from behind to his slight relief.

"Issei are you okay," says frantically checking all of Issei's wounds then Asia says something grabbing both their attention, "if Issei defeated Lord Riser why are we still here."

A chill runs down everyone's back as the sound of flapping could be heard inside the crater, with their heads turning toward to crater to see Riser slowly rising from the crater, along with a cocky smirk on his face.

"You know trash I actually felt that, if my regeneration hadn't returned completely earlier I would have been forcibly retired," Riser's smirk disappears, in all honesty, he was almost vaporized.

Everything from his neck and down was destroyed so if Issei would have aimed a few inches higher he would have killed him but he wouldn't dare tell them that.

"As I said I am immortal not even the famed Red Dragon Emperor is able to bring me down. Now Rias surrender to me and I won't kill your servants," Rias looks to Issei first who was barely conscious due to him using everyone ounce of his strength in that last attack.

The best Asia could do is create a barrier to block his attacks but that wouldn't be enough, plus she isn't sure she can use her power of destruction again. Issei stands to Asia's disapproval and puts his hand on Rias shoulder giving her a pained smile, "don't worry I got this you just sit tight and cheer me on."

Rias snaps her head to Issei finally noticing that he was now on his feet, "wait Issei how are you standing…no wait sit down you have done enough," but he doesn't listen and just walks painfully toward Riser.

He doesn't have enough strength to even summon his gauntlet, he was even too tired to hear Ddraig screaming at him to stand down, "what do you want worm."

"No," says Issei in a soft whisper but it was unheard by Riser, "excuse me you better speak up when talking to me trash," Issei stops two feet in front of Riser, "I said no she is not yours and she will never be as long as I'm standing."

"No," says Riser with an unamused raised eyebrow then his fist ignites, "I've had enough of your interference." Issei raises his fist haphazardly leans forward and attempts to punch Riser but is stopped by Riser catching it and pushing his wrist back dislocating the arm.

But Issei was too tired to feel the pain and raises his other hand to strike but it was more like a tap when it touched Riser's stomach. Riser then grabs Issei by the neck and pounds his face in with his fist breaking his nose, mouth, and parts of his skull, "stop it, Riser," yells Rias as she summons her power of destruction ready to attack Riser.

But he holds Issei's body in front of him protectively, "go ahead and try just remember your servant is right here," Risers says this while squeezing Issei's neck tightly.

Rias clenches her fist she was so close to victory she could taste it and she feels like she barely did anything her servants, no friends fought for her and she did nothing but sit on the sidelines and give orders while they laid down their lives for her.

Now she is even powerless to save one of them who is right in front of her, she then started to think if she had her elder brother's mastery over the power of destruction she could save Issei in the blink of an eye.

Then her thoughts went to Anos and thought if she had his mastery over magic like him she could easily save Issei but she doesn't and she hated it, more like it infuriated her. Rias wanted power more like she demanded it then suddenly something awakened in her something familiar and unfamiliar at the same, suddenly her head felt lighter.

Everything was both clear and blurry at the same time, she felt something stirring, "Asia back up." Asia backed up nervously, "are you deaf my dear I said," then Riser's throat tensed up Rias aura starts to flare, "I will kill your servant do you hear me."

Riser's grip tightens and Rias looks up to meet Riser's gaze with full blow hatred then her eyes drift toward Issei, he was struggling to breathe the second and was losing consciousness and soft in a soft whisper that made her heart shatter, "Rias help."

Tears started to form and she powdered down her aura and clenched her teeth and fist and said in a soft whisper, "fine I surrender," as her headache started to come back in full force.

Riser's smirk widen wider and used his opposite hand to cuff his ear, "excuse me I didn't hear you please speak up," "I said, I Rias Gremory accept defeat and surrender." She then looks to Issei as he was already unconscious then looked toward Asia and said, "I'm sorry."

Rias body starts to glow and she is forcibly teleported from the rating game and reappears in a hospital room and sits on the bed where she would have been teleported if she would have gotten injured.

Rias sits on the bed as an uncontrollable amount of tears start to fall on her face as it starts to sink in that her life is over, the door opens to reveal Riser with a cocky smirk, "don't cry my dear this should be a moment of celebration our two houses will finally be one."
