The New Demon King

This will be a cross over between High School DXD and Misfit of the Demon King Academy. The Story will follow the same path as DXD with alterations. At the moment I plan to only have Anos cross over but if I can find a way to transfer more characters over I will. In this Fanfic Anos will find himself in a new world with a fresh start and deciding on going back or to stay here.

24. Chapter 24

Before starting off this chapter I just want to say why I didn't post at all last month:

1. Didn't have the chapter done

2. haven't had much time to type

I am not done with this story I have a lot more to tell so I am going to move to one chapter enough until I get some more free time throughout my day. I have been busy with school and work. I don't want to move back to shorter chapters because I like being able to type a lot and progress the story faster.

Apologies to anyone who likes the two chapters a month but I just don't have the time to do two a month, so without further a do enjoy! :)

Chapter 24 No Mercy for the Fallen Part 2: Unstoppable Force

Mittelt POV

So there I was completely flabbergasted and stuck another day in the human world still being held down by Koneko.

Since I have nowhere to go I just decide to listen to the horrible story about Kiba, "the holy sword project," I mutter to myself seems the church is just as despicable as ever.

I don't really care for humans but that doesn't mean I don't have a heart and what happened to him is beyond messed up and I doubt Michael or Gabriel didn't know about it.

"Geez Koneko I'm good, get up," Koneko tilts her head with a raised eyebrow then looks toward Rias, "it's fine Koneko," with a nod Koneko gets up from off Mittelt.

Rias sighs and ask us all to go back inside while asking Sona through a communicator to repair a hole in the ORC's wall, all of us converge inside.

Rias sits at the desk Akeno stands next to her Issei sits next to Asia on the couch and I sit in between them preventing Issei from going anything perverted to her.

Koneko sits on the opposite side of the couch and curls herself into a ball, looking at her with a smug look on her face just because she caught me off guard and got praised by Anos so what.

"Mittelt I don't know how my brother runs things but here we don't do things like that," I look Rias up and down with a scrutinizing gaze.

"Didn't your Knight just walk out on you twice and you wanna reprimand me for trying to defend a friend," Rias narrows her eyes while grasping her hands together.

"Your actions were a lot more rash than Kiba's and Kiba is going through a lot it's not like you could know what it feels like to lose family," that's completely outlandish I'm a Fallen Angel everyone who dies basically our brothers and sisters.

"I used to be an Angel Rias every Angel that died was my brother's and sister's," I bark back with a snarl. "So I am basically the only one who knows what Kiba is going through to a certain extent," Rias crossed her arms with a sigh.

"Sorry I didn't mean," "whatever I'm out of here," I stand from the couch as Asia grabs my arm.

She is currently the only one who knows about my sister Matte besides Anos, "I can't stay here I'm going home. Listening to you talk aggravates me, sister of Anos, let me make one thing clear I hate devils and that will never change Asia is an exception, Kiba was forced to become a Devil at a moment of weakness, and Koneko is tolerable."

Rias was about to say something but I wasn't done talking, "Issei is a disgusting pervert gifted with a power he can hardly comprehend, Akeno is a half-blood, and you Rias are the very thing that I hate the most, a disgusting Devil that took the one thing I loved in this world. So excuse me for lashing out when I find something I cherish like my sister being threatened again."

"Mittelt I am…" but I don't want to hear the manipulative words of a devil and raise a hand at her, "save your breath Devil I'm going home."

I try to leave but Asia was still holding my hand and I give her an apologetic smile, "Mittelt please calm down I'm okay, I'm part Devil so that means there's a part of me you hate and your part devil too," "and your part devil too," says Rias very aggravated, "so there is a part of Asia and yourself you hate and Asia is part devil because actions you caused."

And that was a thing I regretted most after becoming close with Asia I bad-mouthed her and apologized profusely for that and will never forgive myself for that, "you are correct I will never forgive myself for that."

She's right I hate that I'm a devil and but my inner thoughts are interrupted when Asia speaks, "Mittelt I don't dislike my life as a Devil I have made so many new friends and for the first time in my life I have a sister. I know this is hard but could you try and get along for my sake."

I ruffle my hair in annoyance and sit down with a sigh, "well that's just my personal opinion of you all sorry if I offended you," I wasn't really sorry but the face Asia was sending me was making me feel bad.

Rias rubs her eyebrows trying to ease her migraine, "I know you have a troubled past but remember we aren't the ones who hurt you, and not all devils are evil."

I cross my arms and shrug deciding to keep my mouth shut because I bet Rias will be snitching to Anos about my loud outburst but she is correct Asia is half devil but I can't bring myself to hate her.

With that being said that doesn't mean all devils aren't bad, "is it true that devils are driven by their emotions," although this was a question I already knew the answer to.

"Yes devils are led by their desires but that doesn't mean they're all malicious," rebuttals Rias, "actually no, whether malicious or not a devil's desires always lead to evil and that's a fact. Devils are master manipulators and can be manipulated by their own lies believing they are true."

Rias sends me a sideways glare, "what is your point Mittelt, " I look at her out the corner of my eye, "no matter how you think you are acting all your intentions will be lead to ruin remember that."

After saying that there was silence I couldn't tell if anyone was hurt by what I said besides Asia since Rias had a neutral look on her face, Akeno had her eyes closed, and Issei was just nervously scratching his cheek.

"Well I'll take that into consideration but there is something else I would to be more informed about Issei," says Rias tilting her head to the side while looking him up and down with her eyes with a not so innocent, "you mean my uhh...heart correct."

"I'm not mad but that would explain why you have gotten such an increase in ability but did Ddraig do this," she says glancing at his arm, out of the corner of my eye I see a green light form.

"Yes upon Issei's request I turned his heart into one which in turn came with other benefits," I see Rias raise an eyebrow sensing this Ddraig continues.

"His heart was changed but a dragon's heart is strong and needs a strong body to support it so I destroyed his bones, tore muscles, and in turn his blood was turned from human to dragon.

At this point, Issei is twenty-five percent human and Dragon but fifty-percent devil, Issei stood and extend your wings," Issei stood and turned his back to Rias and extended his wings.

Everyone gasped even I couldn't hold back my surprise, "as you can see his normal bat-like wings now have scales nothing really significant but they have changed."

Rias got up and stroked his wings feeling the scales in disbelief, "Issei's strength has increased, and has adopted other dragon features due to him having dragon's blood flowing through his veins."

Rias looks down at his arm, "will any of this affect his personality or will there be any side effects of these changes?"

There was momentary silence then he responded, "his personality will not change but over time his Dragon traits will become more obvious like with his wings."

Rias lets out a sigh of relief I can see she thought Issei would change because of the new heart but I had doubts something like that would happen because well I am part Fallen, Devil, and Demon but I feel perfectly fine, well I think I feel fine.

Rias steps back, noticing that his wings were no longer being touched Issei puts them away and turns around nervously, "why turn your heart into that of a Dragons," "because well everyone else made such great improvement and I felt like I didn't achieve much."

Issei then looked at Koneko," Koneko is strong and has been training under Lord Anos for a few years, Asia got better with her sacred dear, Akeno got better with her lighting and Kiba developed three new swords."

Issei then clenched his fist causing them to turn white momentarily, "and I wanted to show growth like them so I asked Ddraig to change my heart but in the end, it amounted to nothing I couldn't defeat Riser but next time president I will be the one to protect you count on it."

I smirk kind of now understanding what Issei sees in the boy that determination he has is kind of toxic but that only earns him two points in my book.

After Issei's declaration nothing really new happens they talk for a little bit but nothing of note besides talking about Kiba's new actions and what the church girls told us we all took our separate ways.

Rias and Akeno stayed back to continue doing some paperwork while Asia, Issei, and I walked home in silence having nothing really to say or talk about.

As we draw near the house I glance at Issei and he does the same to me, I stand in front of Asia as Issei runs toward the door.

He burst through the door, "Mittelt what's going on there's a holy presence inside the house, call Rias and tell her we might be in trouble."

I put my hands behind my back as a small spark of lighting starts to crackle, Asia calls Rias and tells her the situation then seconds later Issei's head pokes out the door.

"It's fine to come inside guys," still on guard about what's happening Aisa and I walk toward the door to see Irina and the bitch Xenovia, I can literally feel my blood pressure rising.

"Oh hello guys I was just getting reacquainted with Irina and her new friend Xenovia," says Issei's mother while the opposite two sat on the couch.

Xenovia had a neutral expression but I could sense the glare she was sending me and I bet she could sense mine as well hidden by a smile, "it was nice seeing you Issei but we must be going," says Irina.

She stands and Xenovia does the same not saying anything and just looking at me, "really I mean you just got here why not stay for dinner," Xenovia bows, "thank you but the church has provided a place for us to stay with food," Irina and Xenovia take their leave and I narrow my eyes at them, especially Xenovia.

I sense magic upstairs and see Rias has finally arrived as I glance upstairs, Issei's mother stands from the couch and says, "well dinner will be ready in a minute you guys, go get washed up and it should be done by then."

The three of us head upstairs Rias embraces Issei and Asia in a bone-crushing hug telling them how worried she was, I walk past them to my room to get changed so I can shower for dinner.

"Hey Mittelt," I turn around with a raised eyebrow, "glad you're okay too my brother would be devastated if you were hurt," I was expecting her to say something rude but all I say is, "yea thanks," I continue to my room and get ready.

Transition to Mt. Olympus

Athena was sitting in her private throne room looking at scrolls on events that were happening in the supernatural world, she had numerous lesser gods looking into anything that could give her insight into this Shadow.

It has only been a day or two since her father asked her to look into this matter, and she figured this would be cut and dry, looking for a supernatural that could destroy Olympus at first she looked into Shiva but that came up dry.

Which led her to find out other pantheons have been having the same prophecies, which made her think that this has nothing to do with the gods but something else.

A knock comes on the door and Athena tells them to come in, "Lady Athena I have another scroll from you attendants," says a lesser god dropping to a knee. "Enough with the formalities hurry and bring it here," says Athena not even looking up as he hands her the scroll then abruptly leaves.

She doesn't bother looking at it and tosses it with the others, she has been getting scrolls like that all day and most weren't even that significant.

One was interesting it was about how Ajuka figured out how to use Spirit Magic but besides that everything else was just useless knowledge or events that didn't point her toward a shadow.

Asking Apollo wouldn't help because he was having episodes anytime he was awake so by order of Zeus he would be kept asleep until this problem was figured out and neutralized.

The doors to her private throne room open up and there were only eleven other people who had some authority to barge into her private throne room unannounced.

"Hello sister how's the hunt going," "Artemis why are you here as you can see I am very," Athena folds the scroll down, she was searching for something and why not ask her sister who is the Goddess of Hunting.

"Artemis I want your help," but Artemis puts her hand up stopping her, "hold on now what makes you think I want to get involved in this," "why not this affects all of us."

Artemis shrugs, "sure but I wasn't asked to find this Shadow father asked you," Athena raised an eyebrow she sounded bitter. Athena leans back in her chair, she never said she wouldn't she wanted to know what she would get out of it, "you know what you get?"

Artemis raised a curious eyebrow, "you get the opportunity to hunt the most dangerous game."

Artemis rubs her chin, "true but I do that all the time," Athena rises from her throne, "yes but there are numerous supernatural looking into this Shadow, wouldn't it feel amazing to be the one who found it? How about this you get credit for finding it but I am the one who is in charge, how does that sound?"

It wasn't a bad offer originally that's why Artemis came here she wanted to hunt the Shadow but she wasn't asked to but figured she could convince Athena to let her help.

"Interesting what do you have so far," Athena points a stack of scrolls up to the ceiling and to a pile to the opposite side, "these are scrolls I haven't looked at these are ones I have looked at."

Artemis rubs her chin then shrugs in defeat, "yea I'm not reading all of those. I am going to just see what I can find in the area."Before Artemis could say anything to counter what she just said Artemis disappears in a flash of golden light. "well Artemis has good senses so if she senses anything in the surrounding area or world she will let me know."

The Next Day

Nothing really happened at school today first period was boring just as yesterday, with lunch being the only time I felt like we had any free time.

"Hey, Mittelt how does it feel to be in a house with a pervert I hope you keep the doors locked," yesterday I was introduced as a friend of Issei's family.

So that's why I was crashing there as far as the rest of the class and school knew, "trust me they stay locked, and if he tries anything he knows the punishment."

Somehow I gained popularity just because I happened to be one of the cutest girls in class and some guys and girls have already confessed their love to me but I'm not interested in dating anyone.

I don't really enjoy talking to humans but I am only here in this group because Asia is here and she is the only one I feel comfortable talking to and plus I have noticed one girl likes to play with Asia's innocence.

"Hey Asia have you seen Issei's hidden sword," says Aika as she smiles deviously between her and Issei, for the former, he glances over from his conversation with his two friends after hearing his name being called.

"Huh, Issei carries a sword between his legs really," I pinch my eyebrows she was too damn innocent for her own good, "oh yea if you look now you can probably see."

Before Asia can think of turning around I grab her shoulder while giving Aika a threatening smile, "trust me Asia you don't want to look at that disappointment over there."

"Disappointment," she says still not catching on in the slightest as I attempt to change the subject, "well we are on lunch and I'm getting hungry shall we? Yo Issei we're leaving to get food you coming?"

"Yea be there in a second you guys wanna come," Aika then leans on my shoulder with a toothy grin, "mind if I tag along," I wanted to tell them all no but it was too late and before I knew it we were all walking to the cafeteria.

After eating for a while we used our extra time to go on a walk but I couldn't enjoy the walk because the perverts wanted to keep trying to hit on Asia and it seems my glares weren't working anymore.

I would have started punching them but Asia kindly asked me not to do anything rash like yesterday so the most I could do was stare them down for a few minutes, and they would back off.

But Aika took it as if she could engage in even more intense teasing seeing that I was getting more and more agitated, weirdly enough, Issei was unnaturally quiet and appeared to be in deep thought.

If I cared enough to ask I would but his silence was a nice change of pace, we stop walking as the boys wanted to watch the girls pt which I didn't mind since they stooped trying to make advances at Asia, "hey Mittelt could you talk to Issei he seems distracted?"

I glance at Issei then back at Asia and shrug, "fine," I then turn my attention back to Issei, "what's on your mind," "oh hi just been thinking about what Rias told us about Kiba," "yea it's a very sad story can't believe the church allowed something like that to happen," Issei nods and I get a better look in his eyes, "what are you really thinking about?"

"Would you call me crazy if I said I wanted to help them achieve their goal," what does he mean by helping them, "what do you mean by helping them?"

"Look Kiba wants the swords destroyed, the church is willing to do anything to get them back and as devils, it would be safer to have the church have the swords than to have Fallen Angels have them no offense."

"None taken," Issei was right it would be safer but does it give us a reason to get involved there were just a few problems, "one, how do you know they want your help after they said they don't need it, two, I think Rias was serious when she said she wasn't getting involved."

That look in his eye he was seriously concerned I can see why the other girls are starting to have feelings for him, "I find your devotion to look out for your friends admirable but what's your plan go up to them and ask for help and convince Kiba to join the people he hates."

Issei looks at me out of the corner of his eye, "you sound like you want to help," "Anos told me to keep an eye on things so if you are thinking of doing something I'd rather be there to help."

Issei snickers at my response to his statement-making me raise an eyebrow, "excuse me pervert what's so funny," "nothing it just seems like you act tuff but you are kind of nice when you want to be."

"I give kindness to those who are worthy," "what about me," "a spark of lightning for being a pervert," Issei nods and I raise an eyebrow as he looks past me.

Both of us were so engrossed in our conversation that we didn't even notice that Saji arrived and was now leaving, I then look back to Issei it seems another idea formed in his head.

"Are you thinking about asking him to help too," "maybe…we could use all the help we could get we don't know who were are up against?"

Issei and I continue to create a plan to convince Saji to join us and to get Kiba to work along with the two girls from the church, my only problem is Xenovia, she is going to be a handful.

Issei told me not to worry about trying to get Saji to help he said he had an idea the only hardship would be finding the church girls and getting them to help us that would take some convincing and I would attempt to not try and pick a fight with Xenovia as long as she didn't try anything like last time.

After that lunch came to a close and all of us went back to class there wasn't left for us to talk about so it was a silent walk between Issie and me, we told Asia that after school we couldn't walk her home but Issei and I would have to do something and to not tell Rias.

She was confused at first but I convinced her to stay quiet until we returned that night, both of us assumed Rias would be caught up with work.

After walking Asia home Issei called Saji and told him to meet us at a coffee shop while walking there I notice we had a tail following us and judging how Issei glanced in the same direction he noticed that Koneko was following us as well.

But like me decided not to say anything and make our way to the coffee shop upon arrival it took only a few minutes for Saji to arrive and our secret meeting to help Kiba was underway.

"Hey, Issei and...Mittelt right...you're Anos's pawn, if you don't know I took four pawn pieces," I raise an eyebrow, "want a cookie or something."

"No, I was just pointing that out," no he wasn't he just as egotistic as I remember I guess the interaction between him and Anos hasn't changed him in the slightest.

"So what can I do for you guys," I glanced at Issei and he takes the hint to tell Saji why we are here, I don't know why I expected Issei would have given Saji a good explanation.

In the end, he did a poor job trying to convince him to help which resulted in Saji lashing out at both of us, "you two are both crazy your masters are somewhat lenient but Sona's demonic, she might just murder me."

Saji stands from the table and stomps away, but doesn't get far as our follower stops him in his tracks, "nice going well you definitely scared him," "I thought being straightforward would be the best solution."

Thanks to Koneko she drags Saji back down into the chair next to her, "so this is what you guys were planning good thing I tagged along."

"You need to work on your sneaking skills both of us noticed you were following us the entire time," Koneko rolls her eyebrows at me, "if I wanted t hide from you then you wouldn't know I was even following you."

"Hey, can I leave you guys have Koneko she should be enough correct," says Saji as he attempts to run again but Koneko pulls him back down in the chair next to her.

"Saji just and wait we are doing this for Kiba and our Kings," Saji stops struggling and blinks in confusion at Issei, "what does this have to do with Kiba? Is that why he hasn't been at school?"

There was silence for a moment I didn't say anything since I figured Issei would tell Saji why but then Koneko spoke and said everything she knew about Kiba's past.

To say Saji was heartbroken would be an understatement he was in full-blown tears now, "oh no Kiba I didn't know you had such a terrible back story."

But it seems that was enough to convince him enough to at least come with us to find the church girls although it was very obvious he wanted to be somewhere else since his head was still hung low.

I honestly don't know how long we walked but it couldn't have been more than thirty seconds when Koneko and I noticed a holy presence very close by.

"This way she pointed," and as soon as we rounded the city block, I couldn't even stop myself from laughing, "what the fuck," this was absolutely priceless.

Members of the church begging for food like homeless and by the looks they haven't even earned a penny, "it's not that funny," says Issei with an apologetic glance.

"You don't get the chance to tell me what's funny and what's not," Issei said nothing and just approached them with a friendly wave and smile.

"Hey I see you guys are hungry would you like something to eat we have something to ask you," Irina's face turned cheerful then skeptical then cheerful once again, "no we don't accept food from devils, it could be poisoned."

I scoff, "if we wanted you both dead we could have just killed you when we fought," "you're only saying that because of the twin br," "his name is Anos if you're going to be disrespectful then you better say his name."

There are only a few people I respected and didn't allow people off-handedly disrespect them however small, "sure only because of Anos," "so stop being stubborn the worse possible thing is you have to listen to us talk.

" I could tell the two wanted to protest but when their stomachs pathetically started to growl it proved that they were starving and surrendered to their hunger and accepted our offer.

These two are fucking pigs and they are eating like they haven't eaten in days even months and where are they even putting it, Irina was on her fourth burger and I have given up on trying to remember what number of burger Xenovia was on.

She was basically drinking the burgers and fries, "I can't believe we are eating food from devils, please Lord forgive us."

For fuck sake it's just food you aren't going to get cursed, "yes you're right there must have been something in the food."

Issei looked at his wallet which used to be full of money but was now a sorry excuse for its once glorious form, "a thank you would suffice," says Koneko, Irina clasped her hands together and let out a prayer of thank you.

Right then and there I was tempted to slap the shit out of Irina for the worse headache I ever had in my life, wow that's what happens when someone sends blessings toward Devils I should have done that sooner just to screw with them when I was a Fallen.

The pain finally disappears after a few seconds, I'm tempted to slap her again after looking at that apologetic smile, "so what is it you four wanted to talk to us about?"

Says Xenovia with a suspicious look under her hood she looked us over, with a mirrored look on his face that matched Xenovia's serious one Issei says without a hint of nervousness.

"We want to help you destroy Excalibur," "excuse me," she says seems she didn't like that since her expression darkens further than it already did.

Issei then took the lead again explaining why they wanted to help, at first I thought he botched it again like with Saji but to my surprise Xenovia's annoyed expression changed to understanding.

"I see I get it now but I can't let you destroy all of them but I can compromise on one," not bad thought she would have completely thrown the idea out the window, "what are you talking about we can't let them do that."

Xenovia lets out a sigh, "if you think about it we might have done it anyway considering we are up against," Irina sighs, "I hate to admit it but the church underprepared us for this."

"Good let me call Kiba he's the one I figured would be the hardest to convince," Issei's phone rings three times then Kiba picks ups, I can't hear what's being said but I can tell told him to meet with us at a park.

Issei left out that the church duo would be coming probably for the best I doubt Kiba would have joined if he knew they were coming and I was correct Kiba arrived before us and was ready to attack the moment he saw the two girls.

"Hey, Kiba calm down they are here to help," Kiba relaxes slightly but his hand was still on his sword glaring at the two, well this is going better than I thought figured he would have attacked them by now.

"You said you wanted to help destroy the swords I doubt they are okay with that plus I refuse to work with them," Kiba lets go of his sword, "I have to do this alone I doubt any of you would understand."

Before he can even take a step my finger was raised at the ground beneath his feet as it explodes knocking him on his ass, "move Issei," I don't give him a chance to respond as I shove him to the side.

Kiba rubs his head then I plant my foot on his chest pushing him back on the ground as he struggles to get up, "you really think you are the only one in the entire world who has lost people," Koneko walks toward me but I raise a hand, "back off he needs to hear this."

"Yes, I lost my friends who I regarded as family," I shoot another bolt of lighting close to his head, "there are billions of people on this planet and I bet some of them have suffered more than you."

If I didn't have his attention before I got it now as the realization comes, yes that's right I've lost more family than any of you could know but you don't see me crying about it anymore.

"I get that you are hurting I understand more than anyone else but that's why you have friends so you don't have to suffer alone."

I then gestured toward Issei who nodded at Kiba, "yea bro we're family you don't have to do this alone," Koneko gave Kiba a thumbs up as well with a silent nod.

That's right when I lost Mattel I felt alone like I didn't have anyone plus it got worse when the same brothers and sister I counted on threw me out of heaven.

But thanks to Azazel I didn't feel so alone he was an actual brother when my other family cast me away, "are you really going to turn your back on your new family."

Kiba just stares blankly at me it seems my words truly resonated with him, "fine can you remove your foot," I nod and step back, "did Lord Anos tell you to say that?"

I raise an eyebrow, promise what promise, "don't know what you are going on about," "it's nothing your words remind me of a promise I had to him some time ago that's all."

Kiba looks from me to the church girls, "if you need my help then you have it but that doesn't mean I trust you. I trust my friends and if they think this is for the best then who am I to argue."

Xenovia and Irina nod at Kiba, "so where do we start," says Koneko, "we have a contact here and we can call him to get more information."

"Is the man a priest and did he have a holy sword with him," says Kiba, wait a second did he kill the guy already fuck, and just when we got them to agree to help, "why," says Irina suspiciously.

"An exorcist named Freed Sellzen along with some other exorcist killed him and almost tried to kill me last night, tried to fight him but he overpowered me and got away," oh good thought there would have been another fight.

"Oh no," says Irina as she starts to tear up, "this is getting worse, HQ was correct all along," "what is it? What aren't you telling us," asks Saji getting anxious.

I was too if I found out Kokabiel is involved then I'm calling Anos, "HQ told us who is behind the thefts it was Kokabiel and a group of Fallen and Exorcists."

So Kokabiel really is involved good thing I tagged along, "whose Kokabiel," Irina and Xenovia raise an eyebrow at Issei, "you're devils and you don't know who one of the leaders of Grigori," I look at Issei, Kiba, Koneko, and Saji, wait they actually don't know who they are.

"Listen you four, just as the devils have a hierarchy the Fallen Angels do too called Grigori the top is Azazel the leader of the Fallen but the Fallen have different leaders too and Kokabiel happens to be one of them."

After the short explanation, I get surprised looks from Saji, Irina, and Xenovia, "for someone who just became a devil you know an awful lot," I shrug, "my master actually taught me stuff instead of playing around."

The four of them roll their eyes but their expression gets serious, "but seriously the church sent two girls to take on one of the leaders of Grigori alone? Man, they must be desperate to get those swords back."

Issei starts to rub his chin in thought while ruffling his hair as his anxiety rises even more, "calm down Saji," his reactions to everything are starting to annoy me.

"I can't don't you guys get it, if this Kokabiel is so strong as you are implying and has some Fallen and Exorcist of his own do are we really going to be enough?"

Saji was right it seemed like he is trying to start a war, crap its starting to seem like Anos was correct and it's about time I called him, a communicator forms next to my ear, "wait, Mittelt what are you doing," ask Issei.

"Wait before you tell him we need more time," what's Issei going on about, "time for what," "yes I believe we are going to need all the help we can get but I think it's best to wait until we know everything."

That was somewhat true there was a lot of information we were missing but I think we have enough information, "hello is everything alright," I glance at Issei again and sigh, "don't make me regret this."

"Yes, everything is fine I called by accident," called by accident come on Mittelt your lies aren't making sense, "you called me by accident," fuck he thinks its weird, and now he might come here anyway, "yes and there is no need to come here everything is fine."

I don't know if he was about to rush here but I need to get the idea of him coming out of his head, "I never said I was coming back are you sure everything is fine."

Fuck this conversation is starting to sound kinda suspect, "yes gotta go bye," I abruptly hang up, "smooth," says Koneko with a grin.

"Fuck you and Issei once we found out everything I am calling Anos and I bet he is going to call his brother," that's true I doubt Anos is going to get involved personally but will demand Sirzechs do something.

"So now what," says Irina, it seems she is ready to get started just like me, "I think its best to figure out what they are planning and go to Rias so we can contact King Lucifer and get his help," what the heck when did Issei get so smart.

"How about this we meet up later tonight, I have a contract that I can say I went to and you guys can do the same but Mittelt how are you going to sneak out."

"Sneak I'm the eldest here I can do what I want," I'd be dammed if Rias wants to question me about where I go but, "I'll just say I went with you because I was curious about how this whole contract thing works."

After that, there really wasn't that much to say and we took our separate ways, "Issei you gots skills to be a good leader I can start to see why Anos said what he said too bad you are a disgusting pervert," "wait what did Lord Anos say," but I don't say anything and just keep walking.

When we get home I almost in the calmest way possible nearly lose my shit when walking past Issei's room and see out of the corner of my eye Asia in a skimpy nerd outfit.

It seems I need to keep Aika away from Asia from now on not just the boys because it seems she is slowly corrupting Asia.

I decide not to comment on the thing I heard Asia say Issei was thinking about since, she was trying to cheer up Issei so I really struggle to let it go and not comment.

Asia was a little worried that we were leaving so late just to fulfill a contract but I assured her we would be fine and lucky us Rias was actually spending time with Sona there was no need to tell her anything.

"I still can't believe you got a contract with someone," I say as we make our way to where the two church girls are after he hands up the phone, "yea it actually wasn't that hard all we do is play video games, I think he's some kind of rich collector."

I hum at that it reminds me of Azazel he's gotten into collecting things that interest him lately, "you look like you have something on your mind," "Azazel my former or still leader has gotten into collecting too," "what is he like," I pause momentarily what is the best way to describe Azazel?

"He can be laid back and serious at the same time, kind of like Anos. Honestly the more I think about it he and Azazel have some similarities, except for the fact that Azazel is kind of a pervert."

I smile warmly at that, "when I first fell from heaven it was Azazel and a group of his closest subordinates that rescued me from a dark place if it wasn't for him and Grigori I would probably be dead somewhere," I glance at Issei and I see him smiling at me.

"What are you smiling about," I say as my face contorts into disgust, "I mean I've never seen you smile at anything besides Asia and Anos."

Wait Anos…I don't smile when I think about...what is he talking about, "Mittelt something wrong," yea I smile when I'm around Asia but Anos never ever.

"Why are you blushing," my eyebrow twitches for some reason and I feel more pissed off than usual, "shut the fuck up," as I cover my fist in lightning and slam it directly into his face.

"What the fuck are you even talking about," Issei goes flying into some trash cans knocking trash everywhere, "ouch that hurt why did you hit me," after that the remainder of our walk was in silence.

I wasn't mad nor did I feel bad but I was trying to stop thinking about what Issei said about me smiling at Anos, have I really been doing that?

We arrive at the church and go inside everyone is there and seems like they were waiting for us before doing anything, we take the robes provided and put them on and decide to split up into two groups.

But before we left Irina and Xenovia and Irina converse about something then Xenovia nods accepting something Irina said, "Issei as a sign of good faith I should let you know that the White One has awakened."

So the White Dragon Emperor has awakened, I wonder whose stronger Issei or whoever is the host of the White Dragon but how would the church know who it is?

A shiver runs down my spine I can remember the day we were informed we would implicate a cease-fire just to kill those two, Mattel and I weren't even involved in the battle not that we could even do anything against those two forces of nature.

We split from the church duo and made our way east as planned, since Koneko had the superior senses compared to all of us she took the lead, and the rest of us stayed silent not to distract her, Issei was to my left, Kiba was behind me, and Saji was to my right.

Everyone had neutral looks on their faces probably trying to stay focused, not that there is anything wrong with that personally but it was a nice change of pace from everyone's normal mannerisms besides Koneko.

We went to a few places but are now heading to a location Kiba recommended apparently it's a place where they killed a stray devil but before even more than a few blocks away Koneko raises her hand telling us to stop.

"I sense someone no I sense more than one. I can sense five at the most but there could be more," she says as we watch the building from afar.

"I'll give Irina a call, should we wait or…." but before Issei could finish his suggestion Kiba runs off toward the building. Fucking hell did my sentimental words earlier mean nothing, "dam," says Koneko, we all run after Kiba as Issei calls the church girls.

Freed walks out of the building with that sickening perverted smile then I abruptly stop as Saji bumps into me from behind, "What's she doing here," "what do you mean who is that," says Issei, behind Freed was a four-winged fallen Kokabiel's number two, "Parisa, she's Kokabiel's number two, this is bad we have to go...go now."

Parisa's hair was snow white that came down to her shoulders with matching pale skin, and her eyes were mysterious blue while her pupils were white, it safe to say she was beautiful but the distant look in her eyes always sent a chill down my spine.

"Kiba wait," but it was too late, "it seems a nuisance has arrived, Freed I'm sure you can handle this and the rest of you deal with this," Parisa walks back inside, and at the same time two more exorcists with holy swords but they weren't Excalibur's, it seems Freed was wielding it.

"Looks like you shitty devils have a new friend, here let me stick this up her ass short stack," says Freed with a disgusting smile on his face he and Kiba clash swords disappearing in blurs and sparks of metal.

Koneko and Issei take on the take on other two but it wasn't even an altercation as they effortlessly dispatch the two exorcists, "we need to get out of here."

On the outside, I was trying to stay calm but judging by how Saji was looking at me with worry on his face, "I'm fine but we need to leave before she comes back."

"You speak as if you know me devil, when we have never met," I look back up the steps, and there she was again with someone who looks awfully familiar.

"Valper it's time to go, Kokabiel is getting impatient and so am I," "just give it time they will be here I know it," Parisa doesn't react and I really hope she doesn't get involved, "seems your student is losing…sad he has an Excalibur yet can't defeat one devil."

Valper shakes his head in disappointment as Freed suffers numerous slashes on different parts of his body, "how much do you intend to embarrass me, I know I thought you how to weird a holy sword better than that?"

Freed jumps back dodging a slash that would have taken his arms, "I'm trying I don't remember him being this strong," Valper sighs it can be nothing but disappointment while pinching the bridge of his nose, "have you learned nothing how about you try channeling the power throughout your body?"

It sounded like a question but he said it like it should be obvious, "oh yea forgot about that," Freed's body starts to glow and he resumes his battle with Kiba with new speed. Koneko and Issei make their way to me, "so what's the deal with that Fallen she's just standing next to the big guy," I send Issei a nervous glance, "let's hope that she stays there."

Parisa just stood there with an emotionless distant look on her face but I knew she has already sized all of us up, "she is one of the most dangerous people in the Grigori she was not leader class but when it comes to hand to hand combat she is almost outmatched."

"Is that Kiba up there on the roof fighting Freed," says Xenovia grabbing all of our attention but before we could respond a flash of light cuts through the air exploding in front of us.

I go flying towards a tree, dam that hurt feels like my ears are ringing was that a light spear, "I will be taking that," I try to focus my eyes but I couldn't really see.

"Get away from Irina," I think Issei says but my hearing was still off, "no Issei wait," was that Saji, I need to cast healing, but it's not really helping, wait that light it was a light spear is that why my healing magic won't work, "persisted aren't you," that was definitely Parisa I'd recognize that voice easily.

There we go looks like the healing is starting to kick in, my eyes start to focus to see Irina on the ground unconscious, she was missing her left arm.

Saji was using the rope from his sacred gear to try and stop the bleeding with his shirt, and Xenovia was in frenzy swinging wildly at Parisa who was blocking her attacks with a light sword.

She turns her head to Issei and Koneko who were trying to help but she was blocking their attacks with nothing but her wings.

"Excuse me you're in the way," Parisa kicks Xenovia in the stomach knocking her back and giving Issei and Koneko her full attention.

A smirk forms on her face, it's coming they are about to see her true face, "hello little devils," she creates another light sword in her left hand, Issei and Koneko lunge from her left and right but she doesn't move, I try to warn them but my voice cracks, a pillar of light erupts from the ground striking them Issei in the stomach.

Thanks to blind luck or having better sense Koneko dodges enough to only get half her stomach scratched but it's enough to make her fall to the ground and hold her side in pain as she tries to hold back tears.

Issei is held in the air by the pillar of light vomiting up blood, for the first time Parisa smiles in delight, "don't turn your back on me," and then the smile disappears.

But I can tell she was moments from indulging in her guilty pleasure, "I wasn't," Parisa leans to the right then runs her sword through Xenovia's back, she loosens her grip on her sword and Parisa takes it.

Then kicks Xenovia away, "unfortunately I am on the clock and can not indulge in the pleasantries," Parisa glances at me as her eyes narrow. "I guess you do live...Mittelt...but you're a devil now so that makes us enemies now."

Wait how does she know what I am Mittelt and why am I so lightheaded, I place my hand on my chest and feel nothing wait where's my chest and why can't I speak, "seems your a bit confused. You can't feel your chest because there is a hole in it."

A hole no I just haven't touched it yet and, why do I feel so tired, I raise my hand to my chest and see nothing but blood, wait when did I get hit?

My head falls back and hits the tree behind me as I grow more tired if I'm bleeding why can't I feel any pain, blink my eyes and I feel like someone is pulling them down.

My vision goes dark I can't fight back my sleep anyone, I don't know how long I was sleeping but I awake in well, to be honest, I don't know it doesn't look like the occult research club.

It's just some room area with black mist like fire I don't know it's all weird, I guess this is my hell but I don't feel very tortured, the fire or smoke doesn't feel hot or cold actually I don't feel it at all, wait if Anos can raise the dead why long do I have to wait.

Then I remember I never fucking called him to admit why the hell did I listen to Issei, "who knows I would have made you stop but you listened to the Red Dragon Emperor, and plus my influence doesn't affect the overworld."

"Yea I'm right…wait what," I blink in confusion putting my hand on my mouth, "you don't have to," there it is again my voice but I'm not talking, I turn around and tilt my head in confusion I was looking at myself but my hair isn't golden and she or I was a hair taller, my eyes were covered by bangs but my right eye was glowing golden.

Myself leans toward me and smirks revealing her blue eye, "I would love to switch I'd rather not lose my window but this is fine too try not to die, I can keep our soul from passing but I can't heal wounds."

What am I or she talking about she turns with a wave of her hand as my body starts to glow as she walks away as the black mist fire gathers around her pulling her to the ground?

The glow emanating from my body was growing so bright making it hard to see, I end up closing my eyes to shield some of the light but then I reopen them to see the familiar ceiling of the occult research club.

I groan in slight discomfort rubbing my head I can hear footsteps approaching but I was too busy trying to remember the dream I had, what was it again was I talking to someone, "Lady Rias…Lady Sona, Mittelt has awoken," says a voice.

"Hello, Mittelt how are you feeling," I look toward the door to see Rias and Sona walking in, "better than I thought since I previously had a hole in my chest. I guess you want to know what happened?"

Sona and Rias pull up a chair, "not really we learned everything from Kiba," Rias went on to tell me everything that I missed when I passed out.

Kiba was too engulfed in his rage not even noticing that all of us besides Saji were lying on the ground unconscious, only realizing after Freed retreated when it was time to leave.

Apparently, Kiba didn't know who to help first Issei had a massive hole in his stomach, and Koneko's side was split open with blood flowing out.

Irina's arm was gone but Saji was able to stop the bleeding and had moved on to help Xenovia, according to Saji, Kiba just dropped to his knees as tears started to flow from his face, I guess seeing us dying on the ground brought up bad memories.

Saji was the one who called them apparently for help but by the time they arrived Parisa, Freed, and Valper took their leave after taking the holy swords from Irina and Xenovia.

So when they arrived there wasn't another battle which was perfect since they would have been in the same situation as us.

Thanks to the combined efforts of everyone no one died, Saji stopped Xenovia and Irina from bleeding out, and Koneko was kept stable from Kiba I guess he came to his senses somewhere in between all of this.

Asia focused all her attention on me quickly closing the wound and stabilizing my condition, to my surprise Issei didn't need any, Ddraig told them through the boosted gear that Issei would be fine, his heart was healing him, and his opened stomach had been almost completely healed but I guess he was still unconscious.

"I need to call Anos we can't handle this alone," before getting a response from them I attempt to call Anos but the communication circle fails, "that's something else we wanted to tell you," says Rias, wait what happened why can't I call Anos what's going on.

Rias sighed and looked to Sona, "fine I guess I can explain what's happening now," shortly after they healed us Kokabiel appeared at the school and told them his plan.

He's going to combine the Excalibur's and this will result in a massive explosion of holy magic that will destroy everything within a two-mile radius which we happen to be in now.

Kuoh Academy will be the epicenter along with the surrounding town, he plans to kill us drawing in the Devils and Angels into a conflict, hearing that Rias called Sirzechs but wasn't able to give the full situation after a massive barrier was erected four miles wide from the Kuoh.

But the next thing Sona said made my eyes widen in surprise, he plans to use the Fallen and Exorcist under his command to slaughter the humans drowning the Shinto Gods to intervene to protect the humans under protection.

"He wants to start an all-out war," I mutter to myself, "yes it seems we are over our heads, I have been trying to call Serafall but I haven't been successful," says Sona biting her lip slightly.

"Our only option is to try and protect the remaining humans in here and try to break through the barrier to get a message out or escape."

It was a sound idea it was our only option at the moment thanks to the barrier we can't call for help so we need an out, "so what do you need from me," "well you used to be a Fallen I told Sona but not anyone else. Mittelt you're the only one here who can give us a fighting chance against Kokabiel and this Parisa who hurt you all."

To be honest, I wanted to tell her this was hopeless but, "honestly it was anyone else we would have a better chance, during the war Kokabiel was a tactical genius and led numerous armies to victory his only true flaw is his cockiness.

He underestimates anyone weaker than him so you could use that somehow. But Parisa is a different story she may seem like the cold nonchalant type but that's just a mask she enters blood frenzies the more she kills. During the war she killed hundreds of high-class devils alone in one night."

They look at each other in caution it seems the reality of who we are up against is setting in even more, "well this is getting more depressing," "she is one of the best hand-to-hand combatants in the Grigori and she only has three pairs of wing one pair below being considered Cadre."

Sona rubs her chin, "so that puts her at High High-Class Devil status or Low Ultimate-Class Devil," she then looks to Rias, "that doesn't sound too good for us."

Rias eyes widen in realization as she slams her fist in her hand, "also I plan to tell everyone who doesn't know your true identity that you hid your identity from Fallen because you are wanted by them but when we engage..."

I jump in having an inkling of what she was about to say, "then it's going to come out either way huh? Well, we can cross that bridge when we get there." I say with a shrug no need to try and think hard about this the necklace Anos gave me is gone, so no point in trying to keep it secret.

Shortly after that, the conversation ended, and I attempted to get out of my bed my stomach hurt like shit when I attempted to sit up, "need some help," ask Rias offering me a hand.

I take it but that doesn't ease the pain in my stomach, "yea thanks," I say trying to keep the pain down as they carry me to the main room of the ORC, I see that I was the last person to wake up. Irina is in the corner close to the door hunched over rubbing the spot where her arm would be while Xenovia rubbed her back saying probably some words of comfort.

Issei and Asia were sitting on the couch and stopped talking upon our arrival along with everyone else, Kiba was standing alone by the door with a downcast expression but instantly locked eyes with me.

Immediately after locking eyes, he started to walk in my immediate direction, I pulled my hand away from Sona and Rias to stand on my own two feet which actually hurt a lot but too late now.

"Mittelt I want to apologize," I let out a sigh as Rias elbows me in the side, what the fuck did Anos tell her to do that, "I have apologized to everyone," he paused seems he needs to get something off his chest, "my actions led to my friends getting hurt," wait what when did I say we were friends.

"Honestly when you pinned me to the ground and said those things I connected with it but when I saw the Freed and the holy sword something just snapped and because of that everyone almost died and now we are in a dire situation."

I could hear Xenovia scoff while sending Kiba a glare out the corner of her eye but said nothing and kept comforting Irina, I guess the focus of her anger is Kiba, well Irina's current state is his fault so can't blame her.

"It's fine I'm alive you're alive everyone's alive don't worry about it," at my words Xenovia snaps her head around, "don't worry about my friend is missing an arm and no one wants to worry about it."

Sona and Rias had been silent but turn their attention toward her but I raise an arm, due to the holy element it's been hard trying to heal myself but it's been getting easier, "slow down be happy she is alive."

I'm starting to get tired of people not finding a silver lining or finding value in everything, my sister is dead I would easily allow her arm to be cut off to see her again.

"Move Kiba," I roll my shoulders, good the healing magic is starting to kick in, I push Kiba and step in front of the slightly taller Xenovia.

"What do you want," "I what retribution," "and I want my sister back tuff fucking luck back the fuck up," can't believe I actually said that, I don't know if she is blinded by anger or ignorance but she says, "how about you go to her instead out pouting about it."

Out of the corner of my Asia's eyes widen and I inhale to not do anything rash, "I would but she's dead the one thing I truly cared about besides my Father but he's not in the picture anymore."

Xenovia looks away while clenching her fist, "I didn't know sorry," seems the tension in her body relaxes but only slightly, "Devils killed my sister and I am surrounded by Devils and currently a Devil and how do you think that makes me feel?"

It was a rhetorical question and seems she was about going to respond but I wasn't done, "it pisses me the fuck off that's what. I hate Devils with a burning passion yet I turned into one because what I want more than anything is to get revenge for her death."

I didn't notice I had started crying but I did notice when Asia grabbed my hand, "be happy that you still have Irina and she only lost an arm she could be dead. We have other things to worry about at the moment and if we survive then you can go at."

I exhale I do not need to keep getting this worked up it can't be good for my heart, "thanks Asia," Xenovia seemed torn but says nothing and just walks to Irina to comfort her again.

"Thank you," "save your thanks we are still trapped here," I say as Asia and I walk toward the couch. Rias coughs grabbing everyone's attention, "look everyone let's not sugar code it, we are trapped inside the barrier with dozens of Fallen and Exorcists, I have called my brother but I do not know if the message got through or what he heard before the barrier was placed."

For dramatic effect Sona steps in, "for better or not worse we are trapped from the outside world with hundreds of humans. Kokabiel wants to restart the war it's our duty to stop r slow his progress while trying to punch a hole in the barrier to get a message out or teleport out of the area."

"Just like Sona said there are humans trapped inside so we will put them to sleep to keep the supernatural world secret, it is imperative that no human be harmed although this area is controlled by the devils it is being loaned to us by the Shinto gods and we don't want to start a war with the Shinto Trinity."

Never seen the Shinto Trinity personally but I have heard of the black flames of Amaterasu that can't be extinguished by anyone except herself, Rias then laid out that we will be splitting up into three groups team one will be fighting Kokabiel, team two will be in charge of protecting the humans and team three will be trying to find a hole in the barrier.

Short and simple nice, I ended up being a part of the team who will be fighting Kokabiel, with me are Issei, Rias, Akeno, Kiba, Xenovia reluctantly, and Asia.

Team two is Koneko because we can use her clones to search for people, Saji, Tsubaki, Mono, and Tsubasa.

Team three makes up the second most people because it will take a large amount of power to break through the barriers, Irina is also with them since she only has one arm.

My team's job isn't to defeat Kokabiel but to just stall him long enough to get a message out to get help, "heck yea let's do this," says Issei slamming his fist into his palm, we are all walking toward the courtyard reaches toward the sky like a beacon telling the world a new age is coming.

But this was not a sign of a new age but a beacon of war and we are here to slow the process, when we arrive we see Kokabiel sitting atop a floating throne in the sky while numerous Fallen and Exorcists hovered in the sky and stood information in front of Kokabiel and Valber was combining the swords.

"Asia you are with me," says Rias as she starts giving out orders, "Kiba, Xenovia, and Issei you guys deal with the Exorcist, Akeno and Mittelt you two handle the Fallen."

I nod at Akeno and the both of us take to the skies, while Kiba and Mittelt walk toward the exorcist, I see Kiba try to hand Xenovia a sword but shakes her head no, weird how is going to fight without a sword but she's none of my business I need focus on my own task with Akeno.

We glance at each other and then get ready to engage each other, hmmm she isn't looking at me like she used to.

Normal POV

Kokabiel looked down at them with a bored expression, he figured after his threat all of them would have come to defend this place so he was even more bored when just six people came to engage him and his troops.

"Parisa what do you think of this pitiful display that has come to stop my plan," Parisa just looked over everyone with the same boring distant expression.

"Do you mind dealing with them," says Kokabiel laughing in between, "are you going to pay me extra," Kokabiel chuckled, "I guess here you will stay until this gets interesting," Parisa said nothing and just nodded in response.

Kokabiel then looks toward the girl next to Rias, "I take that is the nun who has twilight healing we were unable to take. It's just as powerful as I remember since you told me you gave fatal injuries to the ones you encountered."

"Yes and you owe me for doing extra work," says Parisa with slightly narrowed eyes, Kokabiel then leans forward seeing an all too familiar Fallen with bat wings, "wait a dam minute is that Millet and she is a Devil just like you said. Honestly, I didn't even believe you when you told me that. I thought she was dead like the others."

A Fallen then approaches Kokabiel and salutes him, "sir we are prepared to engage the devils that have gathered to stop us what are your orders?"

Kokabiel's smile increases tenfold, "Parisa go protect the Valper don't want him dying before those swords fuse together," Kokabiel then extends his hand forward, "all forces go and slaughter the devils and humans. First to bring me the heads of Rias and Sona will receive an extra reward."

The Fallen and Exorcist then start to advance on the sixty going out in all directions, Rias immediately contacts Sona and Tsubaki, "they are on the move it appears some forces are heading toward the ORC and throughout the city. Seems there's an extra reward for killing us."

"That will slow our efforts with breaking the barrier," "Thank you lady Rias I will inform the others and my Ladies please be safe." Rias ends the communication circle and extends her hand in response to Kokabiel, "attacks," she screams as everyone advances toward the small forces Kokabiel prepared.

Earlier in the Underworld

"Brother….Kokabiel…we need…," Sirzech stops the recording with a troubled look in his eye as he sat down with his three other Kings, "and that was an hour ago…that's not a lot to go on but since neither one of you can contact Sona or Rias something must be going down."

Says Falbium looking at the recording device and rubbing his chin, "what about the Shinto gods," "I have contacted them requesting to send forces but they haven't responded yet. I have already requested twice, so I am positive they got the message."

Falbium sighs, "it was a mistake we should have sent a small force up there with them they are unequipped to stop Kokabiel," Sirzech lets out his own sigh in response agreeing with Falbium.

"Unfortunately that's not possible it was part of the agreement that no forces be sent in and if they needed to be we would have to request permission first," there was very little they could do at the moment, "call Michael and Azazel to see if they have any information that could help?"

Serafall nodded and created two separate magic communication circles, the one on the right answered first it was a female voice, "this is the private line of the Grigori state your business," "Penemue this is Serafall I need to talk to Azazel immediately," the line was silent for a moment, "he is not here currently he is…"

But Serafall's cheerful attitude was gone and her sister was in danger so she wasn't in the mood for his antics, "Penemue my sister is in danger due to Azazel not keeping a tighter leash on Kokabiel I don't care where he is put him on the line," Serafall kept her voice calm and as neutral as possible but some of her rage leaked out.

"I know and I understand but Azazel is already in Kuoh," at that revelation everyone raised a questionable eyebrow, "I know how it sounds but we have suspected that he has been up to something and we traced him back to Kuoh," at that moment Michael answered the communication circle.

"Hello Serafall this must be important if you are calling me," "Yes are you aware of what's happening in Kuoh," the line was silent as everyone waited for Michael to respond.

"I know how it looks Irina and Xenovia are more than capable of dealing with the exorcist who stole the sword," at that everyone raises an eyebrow, "Hello Penemue, I told you not to disturb me."

"Azazel why are you Kuoh," practically demands Sirzechs he would have stayed silent but when he learned that Azazel was in the same city as Kokabiel and kept quiet things weren't adding up.

"Hey now before I'm put in trouble could I know what I'm being accused of so I can deny it," says Azazel lazily through the phone with a yawn.

"Wait what is this about Kokabiel," says Michael completely confused as far as he was informed it was a rogue exorcist involved not a leader of Grigori, Michael side went silent then another voice could be heard in the background, "Hello Lord Michael how many I help," "is that the Archbishop," comments Falbium in a whisper?

"While Michael does whatever he is doing, Azazel care to explain what are doing in Kuoh," says Serafall nearing the edge of her patience, "well you see I wanted to get to know the new Red Dragon Emperor and the famed Anos Gremory and to put a stop to Kokabiel if I had time."

Says Azazel in a sarcastically joking manner, "could you please take this more seriously it seems we are on the break of war and you are cracking jokes."

"Hello it seems there has been some miscommunication in the church somehow information about Kokabiel being Kuoh was never brought up to heaven so we are in the dark about everything," says Michael.

"Calm down everyone I am here with a compatriot and I will have him put a stop to his antics once we get the okay from the Shinto gods don't want it to appear as if we are trying to start a war out here."

"We have contacted them to it seems they are taking longer for than usual to respond," says Serafall calming down even more after hearing that he wasn't in league with Kokabiel.

"Those two girls are under-equipped to defeat Kokabiel even with the help of your sisters, no offense Serafall and Sirzechs," the conversation continued on how they should move forward but the main topic kept being addressed why isn't the Shinto Pantheon responding?

Transition to the Shinto Divine Realm

In the divine realm, a different conversation was happening about everything that was proceeding, for starters they were very aware of the events happening in Kuoh thanks to Yasaka and the Kudan Clan a Youkai that has the ability to see the future.

Thanks to them they learned of possible futures that would affect how they would be responding and thanks to the Kudan they weren't responding.

Sitting at a round table were Amaterasu, Izanagi, and Susano deciding when they should answer the calls from the Devils, Fallen, and Angles.

Amaterasu sat in her chair with an annoyed expression on her face as her younger brother Susano explained why he believed they should go down there and eradicate Kokabiel themselves.

"Brother you aren't going to change our minds the answer is still no," currently the vote was two to one to not get involved and wait as the Kudan requested.

The Leader of the Kudan Clan revealed three possible futures one of them leading to an all-out battle if the Devils got involved, the second was is to allow Azazel to send in his informant but that lead to the deaths of hundreds of their people, and the last was to let the events play out and wait.

According to the Kudan, the best possible future was to let the Devils there now eliminate the Kokabiel's forces and save the humans, and once that was completed they would answer Azazel and allow him to send in his informant.

They couldn't allow an entire devil army inside their territory even if it was to save their people, "why not send our own, we are gods? All I need is a well-trained lightning bolt and I can reduce Kokabiel to nothing but ash."

"Susano calm down why are you in such a rush, although the barrier is up we can still monitor the situation inside. So as long as nothing deviates from the future provided there is no threat."

Says Izanagi trying to calm down Susano's thunderstorm of a personality, "whatever we are gods we can do whatever the hell we want in our own territory even if its loaned to the devils."

Amaterasu and Izanagi rubbed their foreheads with a sigh they have going around in circles with this argument, "Susano yes it is ours but it is being loaned to the devils so the people there are under the protection of the devils until they are unable to.

And judging by what we have seen there is nothing to worry about we just have to let Rias and Sona defeat the majority of Kokabiel's forces then contact Azazel to allow his informant to deal with Kokabiel." Susano crossed his arms with a roll of his glowing blues eyes resembling lightning, "yea yea you guys are starting to sound like a broken record, I pray something happens though."

Transition Back to Kuoh

Mittelt POV

The battle between Rias peerage plus Xenovia was well underway, Rias stood in the back with Asia giving out orders to everyone via communication circles.

She would have helped Mittelt and Akeno in the sky but it was decided that she should lead from the back and only come in if they needed help.

Issei, Kiba, and Xenovia were holding their own against the group of exorcists the highlight of their battle was Xenovia pulling out Durandal claiming she was a natural-born holy sword wielder.

Issei and Kiba were holding their own not surprising though since Anos trained them well, Issei had boosted had been boosting his power for a while but stopped halfway through to not tire himself out and use his own strength which was more than enough to fight humans with weak holy swords.

And just decided to save the power he does have to fight either Parisa or Kokabiel, he let his guard down last time and he almost died again but this time he wouldn't be lowering his guard in the slightest.

That was one of the number one things Anos told him not to do and he did it but never again, Kiba was still full of rage but now he wasn't letting his rage control his actions, his movements through the battle were as smooth as butter being cut by a hot knife as he slashed through his enemies.

But his main target was Valper but at the moment he couldn't get to him the problem wasn't Freed even though he was standing right there it was Parisa she was hovering in the sky right above them.

Her hands were behind her head while she leaned back like she was lying on a bed looking toward the sky but it was obvious she was she wasn't lazy.

With her Durandal, a sword that rivaled Excalibur in its complete state, she made short work of the humans who had swords that were nothing in comparison to hers.

With every slash, numerous humans were cut down by her superior holy sword, as the three cut through Kokabiel's forces they would need to come up with a plan for dealing with Parisa if they wanted to save the town and its people.

Meanwhile, in the sky Mittelt and Akeno actually made a pretty good team, Akeno was more skilled with her lighting and had a larger reserve but Mittelt had better ways of using it.

With a finger toward the sky, Akeno would channel the lighting through her finger and then shoot it toward Fallen but Mittelt was holding back a little these were comrades but her former allies didn't share the same sympathies, they saw her as a trader but it didn't take long for to bury those doubts deep down.

They were traders to the Grigori and one or two things would be happening either Azazel would order them to death or imprison them for betraying them.

So Mittelt stilled her resolve and showed her former comrades her power, they were outnumbered but they were able to hold their own in the sky.

Team Two was also doing a good job thanks to Koneko's clones and sensing abilities which made looking for the humans a lot easier.

It was decided by Tsubaki to bring all the unconscious humans to the park and place them inside a barrier and protect them from there.

They collected about 65% of the humans in the barrier before the exorcist and Fallen arrived, Tsubaki ordered everyone to engage them while Koneko continued searching for humans and taking them inside the park.

Team Three was yielding fewer results than anyone else due to the Exorcist and Fallen attacking, their efforts to break the barrier were slowed tremendously almost to a standstill but Sona was able to nearly finish the transportation circle she just needed a few seconds to complete it.

But seconds she didn't have since she had to command her peers and fight along with them to survive, "Lady Sona we need to fall back we are about to get overrun," another light spear flies past Sona's face nearly cutting her face while taking some of her hair in the process.

To her right and left were Momo and Reya respectively with barriers up protecting Sona, "sorry Lady Sona won't happen again," says Reya strengthening her barrier.

They were previously in the ORC creating a magic circle strong enough to punch through the barrier but had to stop when some exorcist interrupted them with some Fallen.

"It's fine just pay better attention to the battle at hand," Sona raises her hand creating a blue magic circle as water shoots out blasting an exorcist into a wall.

They were fighting downstairs in the main lobby of the ORC and would fall back if they would get overrun and right now it appeared as though that very thing was about to happen.

Before Kiba left he gave Irina a sword to protect herself and was using it to fight alongside Tomoe, Sona allowed Ruruko to promote herself to Queen boosting her strength greatly in a battle they were losing.

There were six exorcists and five Fallen angels, the exorcist would be easy to deal with but the Fallen were making it hard to get in close as they fired light spears from the back.

Transition to the Battle with Rias

Mittelt POV

This was getting tiresome I don't want to fight my former allies but what they are doing now is just morally wrong, "Akeno duck," I say as a light spear flies past her head she gives me a nod there are twenty more Fallen left.

"Akeno we need to finish this off so we can help everyone on the ground," they were pushing back the exorcist but Parisa was down there and it would be all hands on deck dealing with her.

"Can you use that large bolt like in the rating game," "no I need time to prepare something like that, what about you," I would have told her no but then remembered Jirasd.

"Maybe," I say as I dodge in the sky flying around, I open my palm to Akeno as red lighting starts to crackle, "what's that," I pause for a second to think of a lie, "its the reverse of holy lightning kind of," that was a horrible lie I couldn't tell her what it really was but I don't know if that was better.

"How did Lord Anos create the demonic version of holy lighting," crap stop reading into this, "I uhhh wish I knew but he said had to add devil magic to normal lighting to he got a knockoff version of what the reverse of holy lighting would be."

Please by this bull shit explanation, Akeno rubs her chin with a nod, "I guess that makes sense but how will that help us," "well to be frank the more magic I add to the spell the more volatile it becomes," Akeno nods understanding, where was I even going with this, "so you want me to share some of my magic to help you achieve this volatile state."

I nod and Akeno flies behind me and I extend my palms toward the remaining Fallen and inhale deeply, "oh yea forgot to say this is gonna hurt this spell has a serious kick when it goes out of control."

Akeno blushes and chuckles to herself, I don't like that look in her eyes is she a...but my thoughts are ended when I feel her magic begin to flow inside me.

I then cast Jirasd, "Jirasd" and pour our combined magic into it as it grows more volatile it starts to crackle as it grows larger and larger.

I look toward the Fallen and they start casting numerous light spears ready to overpower our spell, "will this work," asked Akeno, I couldn't blame her it didn't look that powerful since I was using every ounce of my strength to contain it, I even changed my piece to the rook to give me extra strength.

I glance back at Akeno with a smirk, "are you ready this is gonna be," I don't let her answer and release the full power of Jirasd.

Not gonna lie the knockback was crazy and I could barely hear Akeno's screams of something that sounded like pleasure or pain couldn't really tell.

My entire vision was engulfed in a red-black light, then it died down as the ripple effect of red and black lighting flooded toward the Fallen completely destroying the light spears.

It was hard to see but I could see the utter surprise on their faces as the enormous streaks of lighting easily destroyed their pitiful light spears.

I could hear their screams but it sounded like pausing a movie the moment someone started screaming, it was there now it was gone.

I tried to smile victoriously but the moment I tried unrivaled exhaustion comes over me along with agonizing pain throughout my entire body.

I couldn't feel Akeno's hands on my back but I couldn't tell if that was due to me feeling more pain than anything else or if she just stop touching me.

Bloody hell this burns, am I falling must be I can feel the wind in my hair, "Issei…Kiba catch them," was that Rias, seconds later the falling sensation stopped and I feel my own weight lighten.

"Don't worry Mittelt I got you and that was some spell, very nice light show," says Issei, he puts me down and I can feel seconds later a warm sensation washes over my body, Asia must be healing me, the burning sensation all but vanishes but unsurprisingly the exhaustion remains.

My vision clears and I see Rias lingering over me with a smirk and a hand extended toward me, "that was brilliant," I grab her hand and stagger to my feet I look to my left to see Asia healing Akeno.

"Thanks," "I see you can use the same spells as my brother, lucky I always tried to learn but I couldn't," says Rias with slight jealousy in her voice.

Technically I can't even use it, the piece is the one giving me the power, "yea I got lucky I guess," I say scratching my cheek, Akeno groans rubbing her head, "you defiantly weren't lying about the knockback but I wouldn't mind doing it again," why the heck is she blushing?

Wait for a second is she a masochist, well that kinda makes sense from what I have seen so far, Kiba and Issei have gone back to help Xenovia who was holding her own after being left alone for a while.

There weren't that many Exorcists left seems like three no four minus Freed, and it doesn't take long for them to completely wipe them out.

My magic reserves have been completely drained after recklessly using Jirasd in the way Anos trained me not to do but luckily it worked in completely wiping out the Fallen.

I looked toward Kokabiel he had been unusually silent, he was just sitting there with an amused smile on his face while staring at me.

It honestly made my skin crawl at how his piercing red eyes stared at me closely analyzing me, "good job Mittelt that spell of yours is truly amazing where did you learn that you did not learn that in the Grigori," says Kokabiel while smiling wider.

"This is definitely getting more interesting but can you handle this after that impressive display," he expands upon by waving his hand toward the ground.

Abruptly a tornado of fire erupts from the ground as two Cerberus crawl from the flame, "this is fucked," I saw sarcastically as I struggle to stand, both dogs look around and stop with their eyes trained on me.

What the hell why are they looking at me like they see something they would consider a snack, "go," says Kokabiel as both of them take off in a full-on sprint toward us with drool falling from their faces.

I can barely move but Asia puts her hand on my shoulder, "don't move let Rias and Xenovia handle it," I glance to the side and see Xenovia right behind one of the dogs as Rias stood in front of us but why isn't she using her magic.

From what I could see...wait is she trembling, Akeno couldn't move and I was still lying on the ground while Xenovia could only distract one dog.

Issei and Kiba were wrapping up the last of the Exorcist, for fuck sake why do I have to keep saving these brats, I dig deep and push Asia off me...sorry in advance.

I get up and grab Rias hand and pull her back I could tell she was surprised by the look in her eyes, honestly, I was too I thought I was too tired to move.

"Get back as if I'm gonna let you die no one wants a war here," plus who knows how pissed Anos would be if his sister died under my watch.

The Cerberus was seconds from being on top of us and I close my eyes ready to be bitten in half but I feel nothing in fact I feel something wet fall on my head.

I feel something warm with a godawful stench in front of me, then something long licks me from my feet to my forehead leaving me drenched in drool.

My eyes were closed but when this dog's tongue licked me, my eyes were lifted up by its tongue but I wished they stayed closed because now they burn, honestly I don't know how to feel.

I should be dead again but I feel I just suffered a worse fate, I am covered in this Cerberus disgusting drool that smelled absolutely disgusting.

I slowly look up to see the three heads looking at me like a normal dog sitting down huffing and puffing, I turn to look at Rias and Asia and they were just as confused as me with wide eyes looking at me than the dog in disbelief.

I turn back around equally surprised back at the three-headed dogs, Xenovia was standing behind the dog's sword ready to put it down but had stopped confused if the dog was going to attack or keep licking me, its tail was wagging with delight and the pure hatred in its eyes turned to happiness and joy.

"Uhhh…good boy," I say which makes the dog's tail wag even fast as the left one barks with the middle one leaning in for another lick, my eyes go wide and I yell, "stop", and it pulls its head back with tears in its eyes which makes my heart sink with regret.

I guess it would be alright for it to lick me again but it just stinks so bad and I'm already drenched from head to toe, "Uhhh Mittelt how did you tame a Cerberus," ask Rias from behind me but honestly I don't even know myself, "I wish I knew myself."

One of the heads of the dogs turns and it barks at the others with the middle one ramming its head in my stomach, then half a second later a light spear blast a hole straight through the Cerberus, and the life leaves all three of their eyes as it falls limp on its side.

I looked toward Kokabiel and he was staring at me in curiosity, "I have never seen a Cerberus act like that toward anything. First, you use a spell you haven't been able to and now you can train a Cerberus."

Kokabiel leans forward in his chair rubbing his chin with a grin, "you have changed a lot since I last saw you, I thought I would have been completely bored until the war started but now I have a keen interest in you now."

A shiver rolls down my spine as he looks me up and down with that disgusting smirk, "Valper how are the preparations coming," "they're coming along greatly almost done."

All of us look toward the holy sword as it starts to pulse with bone-shaking holy power that didn't just make my skin crawl but everyones.

I can feel my magic slowly returning, Asia finishes up healing Akeno as Rias stands with her hands on her hips glaring at Kokabiel, "what's the move here why go through all of this? There's no need to kill us to start a war just go there and try to fight my brother and see what happens."

Suddenly there was a burst of holy power that knocked all of us off our feet and flat on our butts.

It was coming from where Valper was fusing the holy swords, "well would you look at that you actually did it," the blinding holy light nearly burnt my eyes but I didn't need them to know what just happened.

The glow dies down to reveal not the complete state of the Excalibur since it was missing one last sword but its power was definitely close to the original.

Is this the feeling devils felt anytime King Author wielded that blade it makes me want to run for my life, I glance at everyone and I'm glad I'm not the only one shaking in fear or trembling slightly.

Xenovia was the only person who wasn't probably because she wasn't a devil but her eyes were wide in shock.

"How about letting Freed play with them while you prepare the final spell that will channel the sword's holy power into a destructive blast," Freed darts toward the sword with a smile as he starts stroking the hilt of the sword.

Why does he have to be so fucking disgusting, "Parisa," but just waves her hand, "I know you don't have to say it again."

Parisa lands in front of Valper with two light swords in hand but she stands there defensively, Kiba and Xenovia glance at each other, "knight of Gremory do you mind if I jump in," she says as they walk toward Freed, "are you sure I plan on destroying that blade of his reducing it to ash."

"Ash may be going too far but I'm okay with destroying the blade itself," Issei then runs up next to them, "hey I wanted to save this Parisa but I think you two could use it."

They raise an eyebrow but then I hear Ddraig's draconic voice say, "transfer," suddenly Kiba's power surges as his body is engulfed in a green aura, Xenovia's body didn't glow but her sword pulsed for a few times then it exploded with holy power.

Then the golden aura leaves the blade and started to wrap itself around Xenovia like a blanket, "cool," says Issei as he drops to a knee panting, "wow didn't realize how exhausted that would make me. Go give him hell."

He says giving them both a thumbs up. From the angle I was standing at I could see Kiba's right eye goes wide as his head snaps up, seconds later he tosses Issei and Xenovia to the side as the ground where they were standing explodes.

"Interesting you were able to sense me throwing the light spear, have enough time to get your friends out of there and try to escape yourself. Nice reaction speed good thing I upped the power."

Kiba was lying on the edge of the crater it seems he was really trying to escape at the end, "go play with the one other one," "what the fuck boss I wanted to kill them both," says Freed while...for fuck sake why is he licking the blade like that.

Kokabiel says nothing and just shrugs, wait did he do that because issei boosted their power which surpassed Freed with the fused Excalibur, while Freed still looked toward the sky awaiting for Kokabiel to respond Xenovia didn't waste any time clearing the distance between them in a blur.

Freed leans back dodging a swipe that would have cut him in two, "dam bitch, and I thought I liked taking cheap shots," Freed flips dodging a kick to the stomach from Xenovia, I turn my attention from their fight to see Kiba struggling to stand and Valper turns in his direction while casting the spell that is was drawing power from the fused Excalibur's.

"I remember you. You're the boy that got away that night," Kiba's eyes narrow as he snaps his head to Valper, "it's really sad that you are reborn as a devil but thanks to your friends I was able to uhhh…" and tries to fake holding back a laugh and stops what he was doing and looks down on Kiba.

"Valper continues the spell. No delays," "ooh hush Parisa the spell will perform as planned even if I stop," "fine," she says not taking her eyes off Kiba while Valper walks to stand next to her.

"Where was I...oh yess the test subjects or your friends didn't die for nothing because I realized that there wasn't anything magical about being a holy sword wielder it was genetic so I just extracted the gene from your friends and discarded the rest."

Valper then pulls out a crystal and I don't need an explication to know what that is, that fucking bastard killing kids just to be able to wield holy swords is deplorable.

I could feel my magic filling back up thanks to the piece but Akeno was still down having used up alot of her magic unless Issei, no its too late for that he gave it to Xenovia and Kiba to fight Freed but if he's smart like I hope.

I look at the gauntlet and I count to ten in my head and it glows then another ten seconds it glows again, good his cooldown is over and he already started boosting his power.

Maybe he can give it to either Akeno or maybe Rias but Rias hasn't fought the entire time only giving out commands...why won't she fight is it because of her cold wait how do devils even get sick.

It has to be something else besides what Anos said but what it could be I have no clue, I'm drawn out of my thoughts as I see Kiba reaching toward the crystal on the ground I guess Valper must have thrown it.

I could feel the pain in Kiba's eyes as he stands up as it starts glowing, "what's going on," I mutter to myself?

"It must be from the combination of all the powers on the battlefield and Kiba's emotions," suddenly the lights turn to spirits as they start to circle Kiba giving him kind words of encouragement.

I was about to cry but I sense something off with Kiba as the lights start to go into his body my thoughts are then confirmed as I hear Ddraig say Kiba has peaked and that he has achieved his balance breaker.

I blink my blue eyes and they start to glow as I read Kiba's aura, this is how I have been able to tell the difference between Koneko and her clones.

Yes they are identical copies but the clones have a weaker magical signature than the original, but for Kiba, the power he got from Issei was swelling inside clashing with the crystal he absorbed.

He then stands with a defiant look ion his eyes toward Valper as Parisa steps in between them defensively as Kiba creates a sword.

"Fuck yea Kiba kick her ass and avenge your friends," "that right Kiba fight like a knight of Gremory and take them down. I know you can do it," I looked toward Rias and she had a smirk, wait a second he is still up against Parisa its not like he is fighting Freed.

"Ohh how heartwarming another fucking sweet moment from house fuck," Xenovia swings again holding Freed back completely, "hey cut it out you stupid bitch."

"Make me by using that sword," "fine watch this," as Freed makes sic clones of himself as they all attack Xenovia.

But back at Kiba, he was focused, "how about a new sword," Kiba then creates uhh what did he call it again can't remember I was too busy getting my face put in the dirt by Koneko to remember.

But it was the one that could reflect and absorb magic, he then raises the blade toward the sky as I sense and literally see the devil's power, the power he got from Issei, and...holy shit is that holy magic did he get it from the crystal, all three powers start to fuse together into the blade.

Kiba then screams "sword birth,"….wait a dam minute did he just combine holy, the devil, and the power he got from Issei into the blade but that should be impossible.

Wait no I kind of achieved the same state well an unstable state but this seems nothing like what I did, his is stable.

The glow dies down to reveal a completely new sword, it was radiating pure devil and holy power, "this is the Boosted Holy Devil sword a combination of holy and devil power."

Surprise forms on everyone's face as they see Kiba's new sword, even Freed for all his disgustingness couldn't look away in disbelief.

Parisa even showed slight surprise on her face, "two opposing elements can't combine and defiantly not three unless…" holy shit he's about to figure it out, "if he is…" but he stops in his speculating when Parisa runs her swords through his chest.

"What…why," he says when surprise forms on his, "nothing personal but you weren't supposed to figure that out," she pulls her sword out and then decapitates him on the spot.

Some blood splashes on her cheek and she licks it as an amused smirk forms on her face, "why did you do that," says Kiba as he eyes Parisa suspiciously, she looks back at Kiba as she forces her smile down.

"That is none of your concern devil," Kokabiel then chuckles, what's so funny I think to myself, "what's so funny and why did your companion kill Valper," says Rias looking between Parisa and Kokabiel suspiciously.

"I mean we are starting a war it's gonna get out eventually right Parisa and Mittelt," she shrugs then looks at me along with everyone else.

"Mittelt what are they talking about," says Akeno with slight disdain and suspicion in her voice, fuck I know exactly what he trying to do, "I don't know honestly."

Kokabiel then smiles more ferociously, "come now sister this concerns our father don't tell me you forgot already," of course I didn't forget I was there when Michael told every angel in heaven, "of course you know what I am talking about?"

"Wait Mittelt what are you two talking about," Rias ask me, "Father is uhhhh…" "dead," says Parisa in a matter-of-fact tone, "God is dead he died during the end of the war. I don't know how exactly but father is indeed dead. It even made my cold heart shake a little."

She really blurted it out just like that, "lies if God was dead I would know I am..." "you would know why just because you are a high-class devil?"

I glance at Asia and she was staring at me in disbelief with tears in her eyes, "it's true Asai...God...is dead," after saying that the dam keeping her tears from falling broke and she started crying which broke my heart.

"No, it can't be true then who has been listening to our prayers," I pull her into a hug and apologize with everything in me and hold her close.

"It has been big brother Michael trying his best to hold everything together but it's a failing system," I glance around to see everyone looking spaced out with disbelief in their eyes, they then stop on Xenovia she was on her hands and knees staring at the ground in utter disbelief.

My eyes then go wide as Freed uses this opportunity to sneak her from the back and stab her, Kiba was far closer but was just staring at Parisa in disbelief too.

For fuck sake why do I keep doing this, luckily for me, or unfortunately he was walking very slowly so he wouldn't alarm her but I have restored enough magic to extend my wings and pour magic into them before he is able to cut her in two.

"Watch your fucking back," I kick her out of the way which felt good for what she did to Asia yesterday, and raise a barrier to try and block the sword but it seems it wasn't strong enough.

His sword breaks through my barrier I guess everyone is thrown out their stopper as I hear them screaming my name and gasp, he cuts through my hand from my middle finger to my thumb.

I scream in pain and grab my hand as it oozes blood, "dam I wanted the church girl but you will do," Freed then reverses the angle of his sword as he cuts from quad up to shoulder, holy shit I could feel my entire body start to burn with unmatched heat.

Is this what it feels to get stabbed by Excalibur, Parisa's holy magic was painful but this goes unmatched, I then drop to my knees and stare and look toward Asia.

Dam why do I keep up almost dying for these devils I barely like them...well at least I get to look at Asia before I die again, I guess three times the charm I think...I smile well I tried to at least before Freed can finish me off, I really wish Anos….wassss…here to helll..uss.

Normal POV

Xenovia rolls a few feet and looks back in time to see Mittelt get her hand sliced, "wait what Mittelt no," Xenovia runs as fast as she can but she wasn't going to make it, Mittelt kicked her too far away.

Freed was seconds from decapitating her but luckily Kiba was faster after seeing Mittelt's blur cross his vision he was already watching and well on the way to saving her but didn't get there in time to stop Freed from slashing her and was able to stop him from removing her head from her body.

Kiba was caring an unconscious Mittelt in his hands that was slowly turning to dust by the second while bleeding tremendously. "come on leaving me with killing blue balls over here, let me finish her off," says Freed but Kiba narrows his eyes with a glare.

"I won't allow another one of my friends to be killed on my honor as a knight," Freed tries to dash toward Kiba but Xenovia cuts in front of him, "we aren't done," throughout their earlier fights Xenovia has had an upper hand on Freed due to her wielding Durandal but he had been using the abilities of the sword the even the fight.

If Xenovia had mastered Durandal she could easily beat Freed with a superior blade since Excalibur wasn't in its complete state, the boosts she got from Issei earlier gave her a tremendous boost in speed and strength but she has used up almost all of it.

And was trying to channel as much holy power from the blade to boost her abilities, she also had to fight while trying not to think about Mittelt being a Fallen and the death of God.

But her own body could only handle so much of its power, when Issei boosted her power she couldn't handle it all and put the excess into the blade and kept drawing it as she kept fighting but after using so much of it was basically gone, and was using the Durandel's power which put a heavier toll on her body.

Kiba dashes toward Asia who was already running toward Mittelt and places her at her feet, Asia has a horrified look in her eyes she was trying to heal Mittelt but she wouldn't stop bleeding as her skin started turning to ash.

"Try all you want nun but that wound won't heal unless you have a stronger form of healing like Phenex tears," Kiba, Asia, Rias, Akeno, and Issei were hovering around looking at Mittelt but looked up after hearing Kokabiel's response.

Parisa was now hovering next to Kokabiel with her light swords gone there was no need to guard the circle it had already amassed enough power to level a mile so stopping it now was pointless unless they found a way to stop the power from going back into the blade.

"The traitor has a stigmata and won't be healing and due to the effects of the holy sword, her body is turning to ash but who cares I am even more bored," Mittelt's wounds weren't healing and her skin was growing pale as it started to turn to ash, Rias looked down in confusion and worry, for someone who hated devils so much and the church she kept saving them.

"Kiba take her to Sona hopefully they finished the teleportation circle and when you both are teleported bring help I don't know how much time we have left before the magic in the circle is transferred."

Asia then grabs Kiba's arm, "but the bleeding she might die before you get there, "right," says Kiba he sits her back and creates a sword of fire, "sorry Mittelt this is going to hurt."

He then cartelizes her wound earning a squirm from Mittelt showing that she was still alive but this wasn't a permanent solution.

The situation was growing dire and the only one fast enough to Mittelt to Sona was Kiba, he would have protested but nodded understanding that this was the only way.

Kiba picks up Mittelt again and runs at full as fast as he could toward the ORC, as he draws near he sees the Fallen and exorcist that went to kill Sona but he's not surprised since Kokabiel told them to go there earlier.

"Dam looks like I don't have a choice, hang on Mittelt this might get bumpy," Kiba creates a sword and decapitates the Fallen before they knew what Exorcist turn after noticing there were no more light spears flying from the supporting Fallen but are greeted by Kiba hovering over them with Mittelt in his arms.

But the moment they turned around Sona and her peerage didn't waste another second longer killing them where they stood, Kiba then runs inside, "Sona it's mittelt she's dying is the teleportation circle done she has something called a stigmata making it impossible for Asia to heal her wounds," Sona looks over Mittelt.

If she was worried she didn't let it show on her face, "almost but I don't know if she will survive the journey there," Sona thought about just sending Kiba but she wasn't certain Mittelt could survive any longer, "come," without waiting for Kiba she runs back upstairs with everyone following behind.

"I just need a few seconds, Momo inscribe this over there," says Sona as bends down to finish inscribing on her side, "Tomoe write a note saying that we need help," Tomoe nods and runs toward Rias desk grabbing a pen and pencil, "Kiba is Xenovia okay," Kiba would have said yes but the revelation that God was dead reemerged, "physically yes but mentally I can't be for certain."

Irina would have inquired further but Sona finishes up the circle, "done, let's just hope it works it should take her to the Sirzechs estate let's hope it does that. Tomoe the note," "right here Lady Sona," she takes the note not bothering to read it.

Kiba then puts her in the circle then Sona puts the note on her, Sona then mutters a few words and the circle glows a bright blue, and Mittelt is teleported away, "let's hope Sirzechs notices teleportation magic being used in his territory."

"Thank you, Sona," "my pleasure now hurry back to Rias I am sure she needs you," Kiba nods with a dash and headed back to Rias, "okay everyone let's get back to work," Sona looks back down at the circle, "if I had more time I could have made it to where it could be used multiple times just hope it actually takes her to his estate."

Meanwhile with the Fight with Rias

Issei and Xenovia were fighting Freed but he was far faster than them, Asia had finally finished healing Akeno and she was standing next to Rias focusing on restoring her magic.

"So how much time do you think we have left," Rias sighs in defeat and glances at the circle glowing brighter and brighter.

Even if they knew how to disarm Freed Parisa would probably stop them but since she left her post it was evident that she knew it didn't matter what they did the detonation was still going to happen.

"Not much but we just have to stay positive my brother will arrive," "are you alright I don't mind when you give orders but you haven't even used your power once."

Rias glances at her shaking hands, "I don't think I can," Akeno's tired eyes widen slightly, "what do you mean," "I wish I could tell you why but I just don't know. Anytime I try my chest and head burn as if I'm about to explode, and I constantly feel exhausted even now. And I know you have noticed the bleeding?"

"Yes, I just didn't say anything have you tried using Phenex tears," if Rias had the money she could but she didn't and she didn't want to ask her family as to not cause worry.

"No unfortunately but I doubt my power would be enough to defeat the both of them," Kiba runs past them and jumps into the fight against Freed, "since Mittelt isn't with Kiba I guess the teleportation circle worked."

Kokabiel then stands from his chair and shakes his head in disappointment, "this is getting boring the first wave of my men are dead leaving me with no excitement."

The fighting stops as everyone looks up to Kokabiel, he has been awfully silent for a while, "you there red dragon emperor boost your power to the max and give it to Rias, and you better hurry the bomb is nearing completion I'd say you have another ten minutes."

Issei runs toward Rias panting and sweating from the fight but he didn't have a scratch on him, Issei looks at Rias but she didn't look sure of herself and looked away in disappointment.

He then runs to her grabbing her by the hand, "don't worry president I have been boosting my power so I have more than enough I can even give some to Akeno."

"Yes let's hope that will be enough," there wasn't much optimism in her answer but Akeno rubs her shoulder, "let's do this," Issei then transfers some of his power to Akeno boosting her power first.

Issei then extends his hand toward Rias with her reaching for it but stops centimeters, "what's up," says Issei as he looks up at Rias?

"Nothing was lost in thought," Rias then takes his hand as he transfers his power into her, at first she felt nothing but then her crimson aura and power explode from her body knocking Issei, Asia, and Akeno away from her.

Rias destructive aura completely destroyed the ground around but unlike usual her body didn't burn and she didn't feel lightheaded.

She then glares at Kokabiel as he laughs maniacally, "yes that's what I'm talking about," Kokabiel stands from his thrown, "come at me sister of Sirzechs," Rias powers up an attack creating a crimson magic circle in front of her, suddenly only to her ears she hears some like glass was breaking as he aura turns to a mix of purple and red.

Then she coughs up a pool of blood dropping to her knees as the power she was showing disappears, "Rias," says everyone as Asia, Issei, and Akeno run to help her as she keeps coughing blood.

Her eyes kept glowing like someone flipping the switch on the lights on and off rapidly, while they confronted Rias Kokabiel sat back down very much annoyed.

"Well that was underwhelming wouldn't you say Parisa," "yes her power was defiantly far superior than mine but where did it go," he shrugs in response, Kokabiel yawns and creates a barrier around himself with Parisa doing the same.

"Freed this has gone on long enough, let's just blow it early it seems no one is coming," he then creates a barrier around him as well, "you got it boss, time for war devils."

Freed then raises his sword to the sky as the magic from that was been accumulated in the magic circle flows directly into the sword in a beam of golden power.

Freed smiles with a crazed look in her eyes, "time to die," Kiba and Xenovia beat on the barrier with their swords but it doesn't even crack in the slightest.

The last of the magic from the circle enters the sword and pulses before glowing as bright as a star, seconds before Freed releases the power of the sword the ORC is engulfed in an explosion of light grabbing everyone's attention even Freed stalling him from releasing the power the explosion.

"No not Sona," says Asia trying to heal Rias as everyone looked at where the ORC used to be, Sona was defiantly dead.

Issei stands with a glare as his boosted gear that glowing rapidly, "you bastard why…" but he stops noticing that Kokabiel had two light spears ready to fire at will hovering above while he had two swords in his hand.

Parisa was also staring at what remained of the ORC with two light swords in hand ready, she was hovering not next to Kokabiel but in front of him defensively.

Kokabiel was no longer smiling he had a serious look on his face that was very focused, "what why is he looking like that," as he looked toward the ORC.

He raises an eyebrow when he sees numerous green lights, "what's that," Asia and Akeno both shrug in response. For a long minute, everyone just stared at where the ORC used to be and after a few seconds, three individuals start walking toward them.

The Gremory peerage smiles when they see Anos walking toward them with Mittelt, Rin, and Ravel, "Lord Anos," says Issei with a smile of relief.

Transition to Kyoto a

Yasaka was sitting at her desk going over everything the information the Kudan have been providing her at thirty-minute intervals.

The doors to her office then slam open causing her to job, "apologizes my lady but this is urgent."

He says after dropping to a knee, "well it must be important if you came barged in like that," "yes the leader of the Kudan has said that the Kuoh has disappeared from their sight," she raises an eyebrow, "what do you mean disappeared?"

"I was told the leader tried looking into the future again but saw nothing and has been trying for a while now," Yasaka didn't want to worry but she had a bad feeling about this.

Both leave her office and go to the main throne room to see the leader of Kudan his eyes were glowing as he looked to the ceiling, "Riku," his eyes stop glowing, Riku was was a man with a handsome face with bull horns and bull ring in his nose and was wearing a Kimono hiding the rest of his body.

Behind him were two women with similar bull horns but wore hooded cloaks hiding their faces, "hello my Lady," his voice was soft and deep almost soothing to hear, "what's the situation," "that's the thing I cannot see anything, I cannot see the future of Kuoh any longer. I can't see the devils, the fallen, or anything not even the people who reside there. believe we might have to…"

But Yasaka raised a hand, "hey now let's not do anything too rash," What he was suggesting was killing one of the Kudan women to get a clearer picture of what was happening, "my lady that is what these two are here for we are supposed to be making sure war doesn't happen."

Yasaka didn't want to take a life just to see the future but she lets out a reluctant sigh, "fine unfortunately we don't have time to look for another alternative."

One of the Kudan women took a step forward and bowed, "be at ease my Lady this is why we are here to be of use to you please feel no guilt for my death."

Yasaka nodded with indifference in her eyes and said nothing, Riku handed the woman a dagger and she whispered a short phrase and stabbed herself in the heart as a green magic circle glowed above the dagger.

There wasn't blood her body started to glow green as her body started to collapse upon itself until her body turned into a glowing crystal marble that floated a foot off the ground.

Riku reached out and touched the marble as it changed from blue to green and then yellow, they all took a step back it started to grow large and then flatten itself out resembling a floating mirror, "show me what happens in the next five minutes in Kuoh," says Yasaka but the projection remained black then rippled but nothing after that.

"Maybe that is too generic let me try something more specific, show me the fate of Rias Gremory in the next five minutes," the mirror immediately rippled as it flashed once then another in quick secession like someone flipping through a photo book.

"Yasaka looked at Riku but he looked just as surprised," killing Kudan a allowed you to see the most possible future but this was showing not one or two but hundreds of different possible futures.

Some images played for short seconds then went to the next as others only lasted an instant, "stop," said Yasaka frantically she saw an image of a destroyed Kuoh.

The projection stopped and showed a war-torn Kuoh, numerous Devils were fighting Youkai and the Shinto Gods, and standing next to Sirzechs was his weird shadow.

She leaned in closer, no the shadow was something else it was too far away from Sirzechsto his shadow and his own was underneath him, "what is that."

The shadow's head moved upward toward her as if looking at her but for some reason, she wasn't scared it looked dark but it had a peaceful demeanor about it.

It waved its hand then the projection broke and turned to small sparkles Yasaka blinked rapidly and looked at Riku as he stared blankly at where the projection was, "were those all the most possible futures?"

"Yes but that many can't be possible and that shadow what on earth could that have been," "I do not know," what puzzled her, even more, was the fact that it could move when it was a still image and did it see her, "I must inform Amaterasu," Yasaka then created a golden magic circle then slapped her hands together.

She was personally calling her and the magic circle would summon her, under normal circumstances she would never use the emergency summoning circle but this was.

The was nothing for a few seconds then the torches in the room burnt out then ignited in an explosion of black fire, the magic circle then exploded in the same fire Yasaka fell to a knee along with Riku and the servant he brought.

"Yasaka I know you wouldn't dare use this magic circle if it wasn't an emergency," Amaterasu's voice didn't seem agitated but the indirect threat was very easy to hear even through her sweet-sounding voice.

"Of course not my Lady it's about Kuoh," Yasaka's head was still bowed in reverence and respect so she didn't see the arched eyebrow Amaterasu was raising, "must be serious your ten minutes early, we have already told Azazel his informant can deal with Kokabiel now."

"To be honest my Lady I do not know," Yasaka then in a very short explanation told her everything she saw, "are you sure you said saw a Shadow?"

Yasaka nodded and thought to herself, "yea the shadow was weird but was she not more concerned about the destruction to Kuoh?"

"Yes we saw a shadow standing next to Sirzechs," since they were still bowed they couldn't see the fear and concern on Amaterasu's face, "tell no one of this and I mean not a soul nothing about this Shadow leaves this room."

They all jump slightly at the tone and aura she was emitting they still couldn't see her but they could feel her gaze on all of them and her burning aura, "yes ma'am," they say together.

"Good I will bring this up with everyone else and Yasaka put Kyoto on lockdown no one gets in or not," Yasaka didn't bother to try and ask why she could hear the fear and frustration in her voice after she mentioned the Shadow, "it will be done."

"Good if that is all then I will be going," black flames engulf her body then she disappears as the torches die again then come back to the normal flames in the thrown room.

They stand and let out a sigh of relief, "it seems there is something happening behind the scenes we do not know," Yasaka nodded and stared at the spot where Amaterasu was moments ago with worry in her eyes.

Transition to Amaterasu

She reappears back at the table and with Izanagi and Susano, "what with the look in your eyes," says Susano resting his feet on the table and leaning back in his chair, "the Shadow is in Kuoh right now."

Susano falls back in his chair from surprise and Izanagi kick's his to the wall as he stands abruptly, "I hope this isn't a joke," "it's not Yasaka used the Kudan to see into the future and saw Kuoh in ruins with devil fighting Youkai and the Shadow was next to Sirzechs fighting us and it didn't seem like we were winning."

His eyes go wide, "we need to get there as soon as possible," "I need to get my armor first and my sword," says Susano with a hungry look in his eyes, "make it quick what do you need brother," "as long as the moon is out I am fine what about you?"

Izanagi was the god of the Moon and it happens to be a full moon putting his power at its peak, but for Amaterasu, she was the goddess of the sun.

Her body then burst into flames as the white Kimono she wearing was replaced by a pure black one that had a yellow sun on the back.

"I see you are getting serious wearing your battle Kimono," she nods the Kimono was just black with a yellow son on the back. Making it look very plain but this kimono was a god-class armor strong enough to protect her from massive attacks.

"Do you think war is coming," "from the possible futures we have seen we can't defeat this shadow, " Susano nods with a distant look in his the last thing we want is bring ruin their pantheon, "I know so I want to see who or what it is and converse with it?"
