Unzen, another city within the prefecture of Nagasaki. Named after the volcanic mountain of the same name. This city is also known for one other thing…
"Whoa…" Ampharos said as he gazed upon the number of hot springs that were across the city. "A hot springs town…been awhile since I ran into one of those." he chuckled.
And of course, without a second thought, he started wandering right into the closest hot spring he could with the intent on taking a quick old dip. However…
Ampharos stood before a sign that showed that it was completely closed.
"Closed! No way!" Ampharos said in disbelief. "I was so eager to enjoy a dip in that springs but now I am faced with naught but disappointment."
"Trouble, friend?" a voice asked as Ampharos looked over to see a lone Camerupt one the road. "If its hot springs you want, I know a great one where you can heal and unwind."
"Truly? That would be wonderful." Ampharos said.
"Well…hop on." Camerupt said as Ampharos climbed onto their back as they went and moved out of town and up a nearby mountain.
They continued to go up the mountain for what seemed like awhile before they finally reached it. A vast field of hot springs all bubbling with filled with both young and old.
"Its…amazing." Ampharos said as Camerupt stepped into one. "Wait, you're getting in?"
"Its okay. These hot springs don't hurt us fire types." Camerupt said. "Just ask the Hot Springs Master." he said looking to an old Torkoal sitting in the middle.
"Torkoal…I've heard of him. He's set up a number of hot springs." Ampharos said.
"Yes indeed. He truly is the hot spring master!" Camerupt said cheerfully.
Ampharos then got an idea as he got in the hotspring and relaxed next to the old turtle.
"Oh…hello there. Can I help you?" Torkoal asked.
"Mr. Torkoal…I have an offer you might be interested in." Ampharos said.
They spent the time talking about things in the springs before they finally reached a conclusion.
"Oho…I see. So that's it, eh? Okay, I got no problem with that. I'll head to join Ginhana Sky and create a hot springs there. But I would need a Pokemon just as red hot." Torkoal said.
Ampharos then looked over to Camerupt as it soaked in the spring. "I think that can be arranged." Ampharos said.
After a soak in Unzen's famous hot springs and recruiting both Torkoal and Camerupt into Ginhana sky, Ampharos continued on his wandering.
