Sasebo! Currently the second largest city in all of Nagasaki, Japan. It is also a core city. Core Cities are the largest and most important city in very populated areas. It was known as a fishing village before the reformation era. Now it stands as one of the four fronts of Japan's naval heritage.
"Ah…I can just smell all of that great navel air. There is definitely some history to be had here." Ampharos said as he wandered around the shore line. As he did, however, he soon heard the sound of a clashing happening on a nearby navel vessel. "Hmm? Wonder what all the hub bub is."
On said Naval vessel, two Pokemon by the names of Treecko and Lilligant were doing battle against at least four unknown opponents.
"This was just supposed to be a simple guarding mission!" Treecko said.
"I know….but…to think it would lead to this." Lilligant added as they were being buffeted by wind as they saw a figure hidden within said wind.
"Not to mention the three others onboard." Treecko said noticing one girl with a camera and a couple of shady looking guys looking through the cargo hold.
"Come on, its gotta be…aha!" one of them said as they pulled out an orb. "The orb of Apollo!"
"Good. Maybe now you can stat paying back the huge debt you owe me, Teta." the shadier looking man said.
"You're really going to bring that up every…" Teta said before they heard electricity crackle as a lightning bolt came down on both of them.
"What the?" the figure in the wind said.
"We got trouble!" said a girl with a camera as Ampharos was surging with electricity as he charged to join the fray. "What do we do? The mission said not to get caught by any members of the Hero Alliance. Ginhana Sky is part of it!"
"Then its time to run, Mica." the figure said as the whirlwind was whipped up as the two vanished as soon as it subsided.
"Uh oh….guess we gotta slip too." one of the shady figures said as they fled just as Ampharos jumped in.
"I'm here! Oh…now what is this?" Ampharos said looking around as his tail bumped the orb as an energy flew right into it.
"Ampharos!" Treecko and Lilligant called out.
"Whoa…what happened here?" Ampharos asked.
"We were taking a job to guard an artifact for a few hours till these guys came and jumped us!" Treecko said.
"But looks like they ran off. Makes sense when you launched that Thunderbolt!" Lilligant said.
"Ha…suppose so." Ampharos said. "Well then….let us enjoy our time together then!" he said as he wandered about the ship as the two stared.
"Same old carefree wanderer.' the two of them said.
Meanwhile….
Flux Missions! Missions issued by the creator of Emblem Jewels and other products to entice eager civillians to gather items for him. One of the many ongoing projects run by the current CEO and Founder.
"Let's see. Teta Baka, unemployed. Gyro Devil, Loanshark. Mica Shot, journalist for the Multiversal Economical Journal, and Xine Victoria, a parkour expert. All four failed the mission: snatch the Orb of Apollo. Therefore, they will not be receiving any cash. Eh…still, got to see one of my experiments was a success." Flux said as he watched the wind storm Xine was generating.
"Uh…sir. You about done in here? Its getting close to…" Ian said as Flux shut his computer.
"Right right. I was just about finished anyway." Flux said as he got up. "These missions I set up are entertaining. I get to see where I can make improvements to some of my works. Also…I get to see the fruits of my labor." he chuckled as he left.
