here we are we're now the dinner with in-laws section. This story is about Cheyenne bustling around, trying to get a perfect dinner for her new in-laws. Well, they're not new. She's had them before but for all the in-laws for Reba for Sue and her husband, luckily she doesn't have to do a whole lot of cooking because it's a potluck but still, it's very nerve-racking for Cheyenne to put together Well we'll have to see let's see what her antics are up to in this. OK let's go. and let's have a great time.
it was the day of the big dinner Cheyenne was cooking or trying to at least Reba came over to help. I think you might need my help with this. Reba said as she helped Cheyenne with her cooking thanks Mom Cheyenne said, looking at Reba.
I don't know what I'd do without you Mom Cheyenne said you probably be hopeless. Reba said with a smile what are you up to? Then said he came into the room cooking dinner. Reba already brought her stuff over here. She and Dad are already here.
Did he bring Barbara Jean with him? No, I don't think she's here. It wouldn't go over well if Barbara Jean was here if that was the case Brock's Dad and she would be fighting like cats and dogs right now but I think Keira and Jake are coming. They're leaving their areas and they're coming here to visit us.
So that will be nice. We hadn't seen them in a while. Was it a holiday Van asked no no it's not a holiday.
We invited your parents over for dinner. Cheyenne said manufactory what you invited my parents here to our house Cheyenne yes even Mom agreed to it Reba not her head. Yes, I agreed we went to visit your parents just me and Cheyenne and Brock. Have you all lost your minds Van says oh come on van Cheyenne said we should make amends for Elizabeth and for the new baby that's coming we should make amends.
we're not those kids anymore " Cheyenne said again we are not children. We're not 17-year-olds or 18-year-olds anymore or even in our 20s. We are in our 30s almost 40 it is silly. You don't want your parents to come over for dinner. You don't want them to come to see our home it's a home warming party to our house is better than the one that burnt down.
I can't believe this I can't believe you wanna be a silly man Cheyenne said even if your parents agree to want to start over you better not start arguing. Cheyenne said this is for Elizabeth and our new family and our new lives. Cheyenne said.
Besides, Jake took off from whatever it is he's doing and Keira is taking a break from her tour just for this dinner and family time. I don't get to see my sister and brother much since they're traveling or living in different places.
Even Father brought Henry with him. It's his time with him away from Barbara Jean to let us have a good family dinner and a good family time please and not argue Cheyenne said.

and if I wanna try and get along with your parents, is that not too much to ask I want to get along with your parents I want to get on their good side, please don't probably wanna hear about how my practice is going as it got started as I work with your dad with my dad about it and

I'm glad you're starting over with fans' parents me too. Cheyenne said looking at her little brother Uncle Jake Elizabeth said running to him hello Elizabeth he said hugging her you grown so much. I know she says smiling at her brother I mean not her brother but her uncle, he patted her on the head, I was hanging out with Uncle Henry but it's weird because he's 11 like me Jake laughs well I guess so I guess it's weird to sit and watch cartoons with him. Elizabeth smiles and laughs.
at least I don't have to sit in a car seat anymore. She says that is good. He says not that you're big enough to sit in the front seat and not in a car seat even though I still sit in the backseat of course but don't bother me she says and I'm happy I'm gonna have another little brother or sister soon she says.
Oh, Jake says first noticing in a while Cheyenne's pregnancy you're not pulling our leg like you did last time oh no Cheyenne said I'm not pulling your leg this time I was pregnant but the baby didn't make it Cheyenne said Elizabeth would've already had a little brother or sister and don't worry this baby was more planned than the last one.

I'm glad everyone is getting caught up. Reba says coming into the living room or in the kitchen. We're all congregated here. I think Cheyenne's housewarming party will come off with a hitch. I think this will just be a dinner. I think the housewarming party will be later this is just a dinner with the in-laws, Sue and her husband will probably throw another party for Cheyenne later for Jake said will be here soon. Keira came into the house. I'm glad took off from my band for this. Keira says oh hi Kira Cheyenne says she stood in front of the stove, I didn't know you had a knack for cooking, I don't but I'm doing this for everyone of course everyone brought something. Oh yes well yes and I had to stop and get it said I didn't have to make anything even if I did I don't know how to cook.
Ankira Elizabeth hugs her aunt. It was good to see you too Elizabeth you've grown so much. I know she says proudly I think we'll have a great time at this dinner and then the housewarming party at the end of the week. 00 yes that will be fun, won't it?
and if this dinner goes well and I get along with Vance's parents, Cheyenne said then we will invite them to the housewarming party. Oh, that will be great.

Cheyenne held her breath Vance's parents walked in. They were nice. They were happy that Cheyenne had a nice new home and so did Van well. I didn't know if Cheyenne could do good for herself. Sue commented to her husband he knotted yes. Welcome to my house, Mr. and Mrs. Montgomery my parents-in-law said my other grandparents are here. Elizabeth said running to them. Oh hello, Elizabeth said picking her up I'm too big for that now she says she said we're gonna try and get along as a happy family for now and I'll accept your mother accept her, especially your grandpa, especially since Mommy is pregnant again Elizabeth well will do our best this time and be better grandparents and better in-laws what we dear her husband just nods yes.
and not be absent grandparents either little Elizabeth smiles. Yay, I'm happy I'm gonna have a big fun dinner. She said we will Elizabeth.
Cheyenne just simply nods and stands. There's nervously come on in Chann said, and then bring your dishes. Whatever you brought and put them on the island she said. This isn't my full housewarming party yet.
I'm hoping that you all will come to that as well. Cheyenne said oh we wouldn't miss it Cheyenne Sue said and her husband too and your house is charming not as fancy as our own but it's charming well thank you she showed her new in-laws around the house Well you have a nice house, Cheyenne.
We had our party and she said I'd invite my friend Claire Clara. Elizabeth said some of my other new friends from school. I'll probably invite them here too.
Probably be fun her other grandmother says chatting away with Elizabeth. Now that Elizabeth is older will do our best now no more silliness and no more games.
Elizabeth, dear why don't you set the table Elizabeth knotted and set the table all the food was brought in and everyone took their seats at the dining room table and joined their heads at the table took one end and Cheyenne took the other. Elizabeth sat next to her mother, and her other two grandparents together end of the table along with Reba and Brock to Keira and Jake. we will have holidays like family holidays like this from now on too. I'll have to invite Barbara Jean even though she's my ex she is Henry's mother after all, and I'll have to visit her family as well even though we're not married anymore for sake oh yes, of course.
but luckily, she's not invited to this housewarming party. She ruined it. I'll she drew in holidays too, but at least would have to try and get along with her during those times. I'm doing it for Jake. Brock says he ain't along with at his dinner along with everyone else, oh yes, of course, Cheyenne, how was your practice going with your apprenticeship? Sue asked if it was going well. Said Cheyenne soon will have my practice. She said.
and I'll try and find a good hygienist for me. I do it no offense Mom, but I don't want you working with me. It would be pretty funny actually but I did a great job with your father last time I did it but Mom, why do you want to because I want to Cheyenne.
it would be weird at least to get you started Brock said Reba should work with you. Your mother should work with you for a little while at least to get you started Cheyenne. She knows how to be a good hygienist because she worked with me before Barbara Jean, I'd rather have Mom. The table in the table erupts with laughter.
The dinner was lively. Everyone had a great time. Dessert was brought out and everyone ate a good amount of it too dinner with civilized civil dinner. It worked out well. Everyone started leaving to go home or where they were staying and Jake was staying at Riva's house is better than staying in a hotel It was better than staying in a hotel.
yeah, it'd be better to stay at mom's agreed Keira yeah you to stay a little while Elizabeth said, hugging her aunt and uncle of course Elizabeth ruffling her hair.
before we go will help you clean up oh no Cheyenne said let us help you put the dishes in the dishwasher. OK, Cheyenne said as advance as Vance's parents left and so did Assault Brock to help clean up and help Elizabeth to bed. Keira and Jake went back to Reva's house.
I think it was a success I believe so good job. I think we made it through Reba put Elizabeth to bed after Cheyenne and Reba cleaned up Brockett in the living room. You could go Brock you have your car. I know he says all right. I'll leave now. Brock says he left to go to his condo, for a little longer and help Cheyenne with the dishes and put Elizabeth to bed soon I can go to bed myself. I'm a big girl now Reba said, petting her on the head. I know I guess you can stay up a little bit longer, but as soon as she said that Elizabeth was asleep Reba put her to bed and then said goodbye to Cheyenne see you later Cheyenne said yes for your housewarming party yes of course and they'll be more people here. Yes, there will be a van to get you a grill. Oh yes, we'll have a grill. Will probably have hamburgers and hotdogs and if things sound good will bring some of the fixings and some desserts. Reba said, oh great then said that would be good. Said Cheyenne goodbye Mom goodbye. And good night good night.
ending this I hope you enjoyed this story. There are more great stories and more great chapters coming and I hope you're having a great time with this one is more maintained than most of my other stories but I think it's fun and I hope you enjoy it.
