we are now ready for the next chapter celebrating Father's Day. I hope you enjoy this awesome new chapter of the Reba show of starting over a new family. I hope you enjoy it. I feel like writing a lot of lighthearted chapters right now don't you all right then?

it was Father's Day and Cheyenne got her house ready because everyone who came over for Mother's Day was coming over again and for her little one's birthday not the birth of the new baby that was coming. She doesn't know when that'll be but it'll be a while. The nursery was already ready Elizabeth.

was excited it was Father's Day. She gets to celebrate her dad then even though she celebrated her mother Cheyenne not too long ago. Also, Brock and Reba were coming to Grandma and Grandpa. We're also coming and everyone was here. The last time was coming back. They were staying around Texas right now for the celebrations. They were spending some time here for a while and then they'll return to whatever they were doing later, and they'll come for holidays later on down the road Jake and the others, Jake Kira, well Aunt Keira and Uncle Jake and Uncle Henry and aunt Barbara Jean well, not her aunt. She didn't call her aunt but Barbara Jean. It was her other kind of grandma but not really her grandma. She didn't call her grandma even though that's what Barbara Jean wanted her to call her. She just called her Barbara Jean that's it.

and all those people were coming again for Father's Day and again Cheyenne was cooking well well not really. She wasn't the best of cooks but she gave it a try. Luckily Mother was gonna help this good time. At least Reba was coming to help and that'll be good and it'll be very helpful.

so helpful indeed Elizabeth went to her room. I wasn't much to do school was out already. It was summer break. She had a lot to do before she went on the next one 12 up to well she be 12 soon or she is 12 now she'll be 12 now she's already in middle school. She's going into middle school. She's going to sixth grade next year and that was a big thing for her middle school she was hoping she wouldn't have to end up like her mother in high school. I hope that doesn't happen well I hope that doesn't happen to me and I hope I don't have a kid in high school. I will make sure that I will not be like my mother and have a baby in high school, especially senior year. and I'll have to deal with the same principal that my mother had to deal with. I hope not that would be a pain I would not want to deal with her.

well, I don't need to worry about dealing with middle school for another several months. She thought fifth grade was hard enough. She thought now that she was almost a teenager. Well, I will make changes for myself when I'm a teenager and when the baby is born, she thought that'll be something I guess.

luckily, I don't have to deal with the same things. My mother had to deal with her husband cheating on her. Mommy and daddy are always close even though they argue they get along well enough. I love them and they love me and that's all that matters right?

she finished her homemade card for her dad and put it on the side of her desk. Luckily, she had no homework to do today because there was no homework. After all, school was out. She was hoping to go to the neighborhood pool today not today but sometime this week, maybe Elizabeth will take her not Elizabeth that's herself, but her mother Cheyenne, and her grandmother that would be nice wouldn't it or maybe her other grandparents say she want to spend time with them. They're coming to fan parents Daddy's parents don't spend much time with him as often.

maybe she can this summer that'll be good for her. I guess she thought to herself as she finished her father's letter, not a letter to her but a Father's Day card she's gonna make him a homemade card this year.

Everyone started to arrive now her card was done and signed and put in an envelope that she made herself. She said now what to do people were starting to come. She put the card with the other Father's Day gifts and ran to greet everyone as they came in.

it was time for dinner. Everyone was here now. They ate and had a great time and then it was gift time. Just forgiven and cards were handed out light the homemade card even though he couldn't read Elizabeth's handwriting obviously because he wasn't good at reading, but he knew that was the thought that counted when she made him a card, mostly homemade gifts he would take because he knew she would pull her heart and soul into it she did the same for Cheyenne too for her her Mother's Day so they both appreciated those things it's the little things Cheyenne would say that make our day the little things you do, Elizabeth.

I guess she said besides I'm not gonna be a little girl for long. I'll be a teenager in two years or a year. She said I'm 12 now we know that we know you're 12 now Elizabeth now you have to be a teenager and be more of a grown-up, yeah yeah of course, you'll be at all grown up lady soon and I haven't thought about what I want to do yet. I'm only 12 she said you have time Reba said yeah Brock said you have a lot to think about before you decide what you wanna do with your life.

they hung out for a while and then people started to leave. Dinner was over. Gifts were done. Everyone had their gifts to their fathers and everything was done. And everyone back home everyone put back on the road or went home whatever it was they had to do and they said goodbye.

Elizabeth hung out for a little bit until she went to talk to her friend Claire on the phone and disappeared and that was the end of their Father's Day. Well, that was successful. Cheyenne said Van knotted yes very successful Cheyenne.

and your parents were very pleasant yes, I agree the two grown-ups were upset as they sat there and talked to one another. It'll get better maybe and maybe you can work it out with them. They'll start seeing it more our way as a family and not just as me as this cheerleader anymore I mean, I am older. She should just get over it. I mean, they have apologized to me and everything, so everything is fine now everything is fine. Van said we're not children Cheyenne Sugarhead no, we're not children.

once that was over, they went to bed, and that was the end of it, and the end of their day they were all tired in bed sounded great to them and that is what they did.
