Inside LDS tower Reji is in his office at the top floor receiving a report from Nakajima.
"Is that so... She won, did she...? Yuya Sakaki..." Reji says.
"Yes sir." Nakajima confirms.
"Regarding the request you made to the Maiami City Duel Council the other day about the special admittance to the Junior Youth Championship... Even though you went through the effort to approve it... I am shocked that she refused it..." Nakajima says.
"It seems that I did something unnecessary. But the fact that she chose to carve her own destiny... As expected of the originator of Pendulum Summoning." Reji muses.
"Did she use Pendulum this time as well?" Reji asks.
"Yes, sir. The Control Room detected a summoning reaction." Nakajima confirms.
"Were there any changes to it?" Reji asks, becoming more serious.
"In the Pendulum Summon, sir? No, none in particular, sir." Nakajima says slightly surprised by the question.
"I see. Then... That means she has yet to..." Reji says with a sigh as he gets up and looks out the window.
"President? This doesn't concern Yuya Sakaki, but... there is something that is bothering me." Nakajima exclaims.
"Bothering you?" Reji questions.
"Yes sir. This was a report from the Duel Control Room, recently there have been exceptionally strong Fusion Summoning readings occurring in Maiami City." Nakajima explains.
"Fusion, you say?" Reji asks.
"Fusion is taught in schools, so I thought it was simply from the students, but," Nakajima says.
"It was different, wasn't it? From the usual strength of the readings." Reji deduces.
"Correct. We can't even compare it to that of the students." Nakajima confirms.
"Understood. Tell the Control Room to continue to monitor the readings." Reji orders.
"Right away." Nakajima says before he leaves.
"First it was Xyz... now it's Fusion?" Reji thinks, getting a bad premonition.
Meanwhile at the harbor Yuzu and Sora are training.
"I activate the Magic Card, Fusion! I'm fusing Aria the Melodious Diva and Sonata the Melodious Diva! Enchanting melodies bloom in a splendid glory and play for us new harmony! Fusion Summon!" Yuzu chants but

"Wh-why did the error pop up?! Why didn't it summon my Fusion monster!?" Yuzu asks slightly panicked.
"Hey, did you remember to put it inside your Extra Deck?" Sora asks with a lollipop in his mouth.
"Hm? E-Extra?!" Yuzu says.
"I've told you a ton of times that Fusion Monsters go in your Extra Deck, not your Deck!" Sora explains.
"Th-that's right..." Yuzu says as she takes her deck out of her duel disk to check it, only to find that the fusion monster was there.
Meanwhile from behind a warehouse the Phantom Knight user observes them.
"You had two front-row seats to two of my Duels didn't you? Didn't you figure it out from that?" Sora questions while sitting on a container.
"I could have beaten them both without using Fusion, but I went ahead and did it just so you could study it properly!" Sora says.
"I'm... sorry..." Yuzu says as sora jumps down to her.
"I bet you were thinking about him again, weren't you!" Sora teases her, to which she blushes and looks away.
"I knew it!" Sora exclaims.
"That's why you've been Dueling so absent-mindedly." Sora deduces.
"So who is he?" Sora asks.
"I don't know..." Yuzu says.
"His name?" Sora keeps asking.
"I don't know." Yuzu repeats.
"You said it was the second time that you had met him like that?" Sora questions.
"Yeah. The first time was here as well." Yuzu says and then recounts her first run in with the Phantom Knight duelist.
"And so that's how he went and stole your heart then?" Sora teases her.
"Wha-?! That's not what I'm-!" Yuzu argues flustered.
"I'm pretty excited myself too though. After all, he did seem like a pretty interesting guy." Sora admits as he remembers his almost duel with the masked man.
"If that Masumi Kotsu didn't butt in, I might've been able to Duel him too..." Sora says as he takes a bite out of a chocolate bar.
"That was really disappointing." Sora says as he enjoys his sweets.
"No! You can't duel him!" Yuzu protests.
"Why?" Sora asks confused.
"Because... He's dangerous..." Yuzu says as she remembers Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon.
"Outside of an Action Field created by Real Solid Vision System, in that warehouse out in nowhere... He was able to create actual shockwaves...?" Yuzu elaborates.
"And on top of that, why... why would he say that to me?" Yuzu questions as she remembers him telling her he doesn't want her to get hurt.
The masked duelist closes his eyes and remembers standing in a destroyed city. He then says he doesn't want to hurt anyone anymore before he is attacked by a duelist wearing white, riding a D-Wheel, and his white dragon with glass like wings. The masked duelist counters using Dark Rebellion. At the same time the other masked duelist who was observing LDS along with four others runs toward them. The duelist in white grits his teeth before retreating. The other masked duelist asks where Ruri is, to which the Phantom Knight user just shakes his head.
Back in the present the Phantom Knight user opens his eyes.
"Ruri..." he says with a sad voice.
"I knew you'd be here!" Yuya says as she walks toward Yuzu and Sora.
"Hey, Yuzu, can't you just come back to Duel School already? I'm getting tired of the Principal asking me every day..." Yuya asks.
Meanwhile the masked duelist turns around and with the push of a button on his duel disk he vanishes in a light.
He then appears in another part of the city.
"Just what is up with this city? First someone who looks like her and now someone like me?" he inwardly questions as he sighs.
He then hears an explosion and runs toward the source. When he arrives he sees the other masked duelist fighting the LDS section chief, who seems to be losing.
"Shun." the phantom duelist says the others name.
Later at night, at Yuya's house, Yoko is putting food on the table for Yuya, Sora and herself, after having fed the pets.
"Why are you eating dinner here too?" Yuya asks Sora with a hint of annoyance.
"Well that's because big sisters... I mean, your mother's cooking is so good!" Sora explains sticking his tongue out to Yuya.
"I don't mind if you call me big sister!" Yoko gushes.
"Besides, it is more fun if we eat dinner together! I made plenty of food! So it's fine isn't it?" Yoko says.
"Wait don't tell me all these dishes are his?!" Yuya asks.
"You got it! Tonight's dishes are all Mitchie's highly recommended brain food! I heard your next Duel is going to test your wits, so I whipped this up with Mitchie's recipe!" Yoko confirms.
"Go on, enjoy!" Yoko says.
"Yes ma'am! Thanks for the food!" Sora says with a smile, as he puts chocolate syrup on his sardines.
"Your putting chocolate syrup on sardines?!" Yuya questions in disgust.
"Oh, didn't you know sardines are chock-full of omega-3s, so they're a great at increasing your concentration and memory? I've heard that Flavonoids in chocolate accelerate blood flow to the brain, so why not?" Yoko points out.
"Well, I guess if the one who's eating it enjoys it, it's fine..." Yuya says as she sees how much Sora likes his food.
"That aside Sora have you heard who your next opponent is?" Yuya asks as she starts eating rice.
"No idea! Not interested either! There's no way I'd lose to anyone!" Sora states without a care in the world.
"Don't let that carefree mindset trip you up later." Yuya warns him.
"I should say the same thing to you. If you keep this up, someone else is going to take Yuzu from you! Just so you know, she has been thinking about the masked guy we ran into at the warehouse twenty-four seven. Looks to me like she has a crush on him." Sora tells Yuya, the last part in a teasing way.
"Someone else?" Yuya mutters with a sad tone before returning her attention to her food.
The next day at LDS in Reji's office.
"These are..." Reji says as he looks at the rather disturbing cards on his table.
"These were sent to the School anonymously this morning." Himika explains.
"Marco and Tio...?" Reji says as he looks at the cards that show the horrified expressions of the missing LDS teacher Marco and the Section Chief Tio.
"Why are there cards of our LDS's two ace duelists? What is the perpetrator thinking doing this..." Himika wonders.
"Yesterday, there was another powerful Xyz Summoning reading picked up. Shortly after, we received a report that Tio had gone missing as well... To think they would be sealed inside of a card..." Reji says.
"Sealed, you say!?" Himika questions in shock.
"That can't be! There is no way that's- Then are they inside of these cards?" Himika asks.
"They're alive. This is the first time I've witnessed this in reality. Until we investigate it further, I can't say for certain if I am correct. But most likely..." Reji says as he picks up one of the cards.
"Is there a way to save them?" Himika asks.
"With our current power, unfortunately..." Reji denies.
"But this does raise one question. There have been three incidents so far. The first victim being Shingo Sawatari. But he was not sealed inside of a card. But the second victim, Marco, and the third, Tio, were put into cards like this. The two different incidents lead us to a new possibility... there are... two perpetrators." Reji states.
"What?!" Himika exclaims shocked.
"Congressman! Please wait!" they hear Nakajima say as the door opens.
"What're ya doin loafin around, Director Akaba?!" Mr. Sawatari shouts as he enters the office.
"Mr. Sawatari! You can't just walk in! Please step outside." Nakajima tells him.
"CAN IT! I got business with the Director!" Mr. Sawatari shouts at him.
"But... you don't even have an appointment..." Nakajima argues.
"Ya think there's a problem with a politician comin to see the president of the election committee?!" Mr. Sawatari yells.
"Nakajima... Let him stay." Reji says having enough of the noise.
"Understood." Nakajima says.
"I heard there was another incident, wasn't there?" Mr. Sawatari questions.
"What could you be talking about?" Himika just shrugs him off.
"Y'all better not underestimate the information network of this here future mayor! I'm hearing about everything! First the teacher, now I heard the fella who was LDS top team's ace got taken out too!" Mr. Sawatari declares. Himika gets frustrated at that, which is all the confirmation he needs.
"It's true, ain't it?" Mr. Sawatari asks again.
"It's..." Himika says before
"It's true." Reji cuts in.
"Then what're you all doing here folding your arms?! Hurry up and get to finding that perp!" Mr. Sawatari demands.
"We are currently investigating the perpetrator." Reji states.
"Investigating? What good does investigating do you all? My son clearly testified that the one who attacked him was... Yuya Sakaki!" Mr. Sawatari protests as he slams a picture of Yuya onto Reji's desk.
"Is your son still saying that?" Reji asks.
"I ain't seen him since he got out of the hospital, but I ain't heard anything about the testimony changing! So Yuya Sakaki has got to be the perp here! The Director even agreed and said to leave everything to her! So why are you sitting here letting the perp run free and cause a second and third incident?!" Mr. Sawatari yells at them.
"I can't keep quiet about this! I gotta get the cops moving by my own hands to protect the order here in Maiami City and catch that Yuya Sakaki!" Mr. Sawatari says.
"Please hold on a second." Reji says having enough.
"I ain't waiting!" Mr. Sawatari yells at him, to which Reji slams his fist on his desk as he sits up, intimidating Mr. Sawatari.
"I said it was under investigation. We aren't just folding our arms here. We are raising the efforts in Leo Corporation and in the LDS to find the perpetrator." Reji states.
"I told you that the perp is Yuya Sakaki!" Mr. Sawatari yells again.
"She is no criminal!" Reji says defensively.
"We will surely catch the real perpetrator. Until then, I'd like you to watch quietly." Reji tells him.
"I ain't accepting failure from you all!" Mr. Sawatari says, snatches the picture of Yuya and walks out of Reji's office.
"Nakajima. Raise the level of alert in the Inner City. These cards are obviously meant to provoke us. Make sure we're ready to handle any incident." Reji instructs.
"Yes sir." Nakajima replies.
"Also, have these cards sent in for analysis and have them investigated thoroughly. These two... No... In order to save all Duelists in our city." Reji orders.
At the same time Yuya is walking on the streets below to her next duel.
"I'm tired. I ended up watching quiz shows all night. I'm supposed to be training my mind for a battle of wits, but now I can't think because I'm so sleepy!" Yuya mutters to herself as she yawns.
"You fellas! Are you all deaf or something?" someone shouts catching Yuya's attention.
"I'm an active city councilor! I'll become the mayor of this city one day! The mayor's the most powerful fella around with the most influence!" Mr. Sawatari shouts at three members of LDS top team.
"Who is that?" a woman on the street questions.
"He's that Sawatari guy from the city council." another woman answers.
"He is not even the mayor yet and he's carrying on like that..." the first woman says.
"Sawatari?" Yuya questions as she hears them.
"So the LDS and the Leo Corporation gotta heed my orders! Not the Director, not the CEO, but me, the mayor!" Mr. Sawatari keeps yelling at those top team members.
"That is Sawatari's father...?" Yuya questions, actually feeling sorry for him and getting were he got that bad influence from.
"Whoa! If I keep this up I'm going to be late to my meeting with Nico!" Yuya snaps out of it and runs off.
"That's... Yuya Sakaki ain't it?" Mr. Sawatari says as he sees her reflection on the glass building he was standing in front of.
"What're you all doing? That's the perp we've been searching for! Go get her! You all deaf or something? Hurry up and catch that Yuya Sakaki!" Mr. Sawatari yells as he pushes them to run after her.
"HOLD IT!" Mr. Sawatari shouts at Yuya.
"Huh? What the?! They're chasing me?! Why!?" Yuya says as she looks back and sees she is being chased.
"Don't let her get away with hurting my precious boy!" Mr. Sawatari yells as he runs behind the LDS staff.
"What?! You've got it wrong! I didn't do it!" Yuya protests as she picks up the pace and runs into an alleyway. She walks toward Shun who has a monster hovering above him.
"LDS! Then I'll be your opponent!" Shun exclaims with rage as he sees the top teams badges.
"That monster... it's filled with rage and nothing more. Who is this?" Yuya inwardly questions as she runs past him.
"What's going on?!" Yuya asks as she stops behind Shun, and the top team in front of him.
"What's your deal?! Get out of the way!" Mr. Sawatari yells at Shun.
"If you won't start, I will!" Shun warns them as he is ready to fight.
"Could it be...!? The guy who got Tio and Marco...! We need to contact HQ!" the top team members exclaims in panic.
"What? Forget about that guy, just hurry up and get Yuya Sakaki!" Mr. Sawatari shouts, oblivious to the situation like the complete fool he is.
"I Summon Raid Raptors - Vanishing Lanius from my hand!" Shun says as he summons another copy of the monster that he had already out.

'"Those two as well? Is his anger connecting with that of his monsters and amplifying it?!" Yuya thinks as she observes Shun.
"I Overlay my three Level 4 Vanishing Lanius's!" Shun declares.
"There is no doubt about it! He's the one who attacked them..." the top team members conclude.
"Xyz Summon!" Shun calls.
At the same time in LDS Control Roon.
"There is an Xyz energy reading in the Inner City Center District! The energy levels are at maximum! It's equal to the reading from. before... No it's even greater!" a female technician says.
Back in the alleyway the summoning creates a gust of wind that blasts Mr. Sawatari into the air as he holds onto a stair railing, struggling to hold on.
"What is this?! How can one monster hold so much hate!! Argh!" Yuya thinks as the feelings she picks up from Shun's Xyz monster overwhelm her and she is blasted against a wall, falling unconscious on some rubbish bags.
The talons of Shun's monster slice marks into the overpass above them, as Mr. Sawatari is blown away.
Though when he looks up and sees the cards containing the faces of the top team members he screams and runs for dear life as the cards are scattered in the wind.
Later Yuya regains consciousness from Nico snapping his fingers at her. She then bolts to her feet in terror.
"What's going on Yuya!" Nico asks.
"Y-Yeah. Just a bad dream that's all." Yuya says as she regains her composure.
"This feeling of hate was no dream. But since he wouldn't believe me anyway... I might as well give him an excuse." Yuya thinks.
"Sheesh, what are you doing sleeping on the side of the road?" Nico asks.
"Sorry. Exhaustion probably got to me. On the plus side I'm energized and ready for anything." Yuya says.
"Come on then, let's go! Your next opponent is waiting for you." Nico says as he and Yuya walk out of the alleyway.
A bit later Yuya is with Nico in a tram heading to her next duel. Though Yuya is staring into space lost in thought.
"What's wrong? You've been spacing out for a while now." Nico questions as he leans toward her, which startles her.
"It's nothing, really..." Yuya says as Nico sits on top of the seat next to her.
"Are you sleepy?" Nico asks her.
"Just who the heck was that...? More importantly the hate I picked up from his monster actually hurt me... Matter of fact I am still a bit shaken by it." Yuya thinks as she remembers Shun and his Xyz monster.
"Yuya, are you good at quizzes?" Nico asks as he leans down to her, snapping her out of her thoughts.
"Q-quizzes?" Yuya says as she remembers watching a quiz show with Tatsuya, Ayu and Futoshi the night before, getting every question wrong which only frustrated her. The fact that she continued at home till sunrise only fed her dislike for them at the end.
"I-It's not like being bad at quizzes... has any effect on my Entertainment Duels!" Yuya exclaims.
"Hmm, I wonder about that!" Nico says, confusing Yuya. But before she can asks what he means the tram stops and he falls to the ground face first.
A few seconds later they exit the tram and are now standing in front of Clarity Duel School.
"Let's go!" Nico says as he starts heading in.
"Yeah... Isn't this place a really famous prep-school?" Yuya asks as she follows him.
"That's right! Whether they're scholars, politicians, or any field of scholar, the top class of any field has come from this school! You could call it the school that cultivates those who succeed at the game of life!" Nico explains with a hint of drama.
"I see..." Yuya says not really impressed.
"Of course, they've invested their resources into raising Duelists as well." Nico adds as they enter the building.
"Knowledge is...!!" a MC says.
"Number One!" the students acting as the audience finish, giving Yuya who is entering the room at that moment, and Tatsuya, Ayu and Futoshi in the stands a bad feeling.
"The correct answer is...?!" the MC says as spotlights shine on a platform above him.
"Only One!" Eita Kyuando finishes, who is standing on the platform.
The audience begins to applaud as the platform descends in front of Yuya.
"Ah! You're-!" Yuya says recognizing him from the quiz shows she watched.
"Our school's best of the best, the king of quizzes! The Universe of Knowledge, Eita Kyuando!" the MC introduces him, as Eita steps of the platform and it is lifted back up.
"It seems you know of me. I'm honored. I've seen videos of your Pendulum Summon myself. Nice to meet you." Eita tells Yuya as holds out his hand.
"Yeah! I've seen your quiz shows as well! Let's have a fun match today! Nice to-" Yuya tells him, but before she can finish her sentence Eita turns away and cuts in
"Now then! A question for you!" Eita says confusing Yuya.
"It pertains to the "nice to meet you" greeting you just used. How do you say it in French?" Eita asks throwing her an arrogant glance.
"That look... so that's what he is planning. Well he picked the wrong person for his little tricks." Yuya thinks when she sees the look he is giving her, before she straightens herself and closes her eyes.
Though what happened next surprised everyone. Yuya started chuckling and in a matter of seconds laughing as if she just heard a joke.
"Ah yes. I see what your'e trying here so listen up!" Yuya says as she contains her laughter and takes a step toward him.
"If you want to show off with your intellect, or even humiliate others with it you can go back to your silly little quiz shows! So I am giving you two options. One, if you're just all talk then save us both the time and forfeit so we can be done here! Or Two, if you can actually back up those big words, you skip your little gimmick and get to dueling because I have no interest in being mocked by a brat whose fame and knowledge clearly got to his head!" Yuya declares, leaving everyone shell shocked, even frightening Eita slightly.
At the same time Sora wins another duel.
"Amazing... it was over in an instant." Yuzu says.
"So is that what they call "checkmate"? It was kinda fun, but not very satisfying..." Sora exclaims.
"I'm going to get stronger as well! No... I have to! Yuya just watch me!" Yuzu thinks to herself with determination.
Back with Yuya, she and Eita are now in position to duel.
"Thank you for waiting! We shall begin the Duel now! First off is Clarity's Ace! The ever-expanding Universe of Knowledge! Quiz Master, Eita Kyuando!" Nico says as he introduces one of the duelists.
"Knowledge is..." Eita says
"Number One!" the students finish.
"Facing him is the successor of Entertainment Duels and Pendulum Summoning Pioneer... Yuya Sakaki!" Nico says to which only Tatsuya, Ayu and Futoshi applaud.
"Action Field, On! Field Magic, Quiz Frontier! Activate! Knowledge is Light! Knowledge is Love! Use knowledge as a weapon to clear your way to success in life! The Success Frontier! True to its name, it is Clarity Duel School's pride and joy, the Quiz Frontier!" the MC declares as the action field, a room with question marks plastered everywhere and boxes floating around.
"Q-Quiz Frontier?!" Yuya questions surprised.
"That's right! My personal best field, one that requires knowledge! Of course, it's a field where I can shine the brightest and display my abilities the best!" Eita exclaims having regained his earlier smug.
"I wonder how Yuya's Entertainment Dueling will fair inside this Quiz-Field..." Nico thinks as he looks at her.
"Duelists locked in battle!" the MC starts
"Kicking against the earth and dancing in the air alongside their monsters! They storm through this field!" Nico continues
'Behold! This is the newest and greatest evolution of Dueling! Action!" Nico and the MC say together as they snap their fingers
"Duel!" "Duel!" Yuya and Eita finish as the action cards are dispersed and the duel begins.

"A question for you all! Who will be going first in this Duel?" Eita asks.
"Eita Kyuando!" the students answer.
"Correct!" Eita says.
"My turn! I summon Quiz Monkey from my hand!" Eita declares as his monster appears.

"A monster with 0 attack points?" Futoshi questions.
"Zero is the beginning of everything, as well as the endpoint of everything! Zero itself means infinite possibilities! I set one card and end my turn." Eita exclaims as his facedown materializes.
"Big sis Yuya, that's just a bluff!" Ayu tells her.
"Now then, I'm looking forward to your specialty Pendulum Summoning! If you can do it, that is." Eita exclaims, looking down on Yuya metaphorically and litterally.
"My turn, Draw!" Yuya says as she starts her turn.

"I summon Entermate Skullcrobat Joker!" Yuya exclaims as the masked jester wearing black with purple stripes appears.

"When Skullcrobat Joker is summoned I can add one Entermate, Odd-Eyes or Magician Pendulum monster from my deck to my hand!" Yuya explains as a card is ejected from her duel disk.
"Alright a monster with 1800 attack points!" Tatsuya cheers.
"This is obviously a trap. Oh well guess I'll bite then, sorry Skullcrobat." Yuya mentally apologizes to her monster, which glances back at her and smiles.
"Let's go! Battle Phase! Skullcrobat Joker! Attack Quiz Monkey!" Yuya says as her monster jumps toward its target but
"Quiz Monkey's effect activates! When this monster battles, the opponent must answer, How many Quiz monsters will remain on the field at the end of the Battle Phase? If they answer is correctly, the opponent will gain 1000 life points! If they answer incorrectly, I am able to Special Summon this card from my Graveyard, and destroy one monster on my opponent's field! Then it will gain the same attack and defense points as the destroyed monster. Now give me your answer!" Eita explains.
"Honestly, my answer doesn't matter one bit. After all, I bet my deck that no matter what I say you'll make it so I am wrong. If I say there will be zero Quiz monsters you will activate your face down to protect your monster and make me wrong. If I say one you will simply let everything play out and make me wrong again. But since I have to give you an answer I'll say zero to get it over with! Skullcrobat Joker, continue your attack, lets see if I am right!" Yuya declares.
"You are actually! I activate my Continuous Trap, However!! Once per turn, I can negate the destruction of one of my Quiz monsters through battle! As well as make the battle damage zero!" Eita explains as Skullcrobat returns to Yuya's side.
"The Battle Phase is over! Oh, what is this? You said there would be zero Quiz monsters remaining. However! There is one Quiz Monkey still remaining on my field! To bad, you're incorrect! And thus, Skullcrobat Joker is destroyed! With that, Quiz Monkey gains the same attack points as Skullcrobat Joker!" Eita exclaims full of arrogance as his monsters effect destroys Yuya's monsters and powers up.

"Looks like Big sis Yuya was right. Honestly that guy is a pain." Tatsuya exclaims, to which Ayu and Futoshi nod.
"As you said before, whether you are correct or incorrect is all up to me! Me having the initiative, that is correct! You having any kind of advantage, that is incorrect!" Eita exclaims as he starts laughing like a maniac.
"We'll see how long that last." Yuya thinks having enough of her opponent already.
"I set one card face down and end my turn." Yuya says as her facedown materializes.
"Now then here is a question for you! Who is the unsightly duelist that will be receiving damage from a direct attack this turn?" Eita asks Yuya mockingly making her grunt in annoyance.
"What's this? I'm giving you a really easy question this time, though... the answer is YOU, Yuya Sakaki!" Eita says and starts laughing at her.
"Shut up and get on with it!" Yuya shouts at him, having really enough.
"My turn, Draw!" Eita says as he begins his turn.

"Battle Phase! I make a direct attack with Quiz Monkey!" Eita commands.
"I activate my Trap, Half Unbreak! It's effect makes one monster on the field unable to be destroyed in battle this turn, also any battle damage involving that monster is halved! I may not have a monster out... But I can still target yours!" Yuya declares as a bubble surrounds Quiz Monkey and the damage is reduced.
Yuya: 4000 - 3100 LP
"A pointless struggle! This card can be Special Summoned from my hand when a Quiz monster deals battle damage. I Special Summon Sphin-Quiz! As long as there is another Quiz monster on my field, this card can't be targeted for attacks!" Eita exclaims as his new monster appears behind him.
Sphin-Quiz (LV.6) (1000ATK)
"I make a direct attack with Sphin-Quiz!" Eita declares.
"I activate Entermate Kuribohble's effect from my hand! When you attack me directly I can Special Summon him and force you to attack him instead!" Yuya explain as her furry friend appears.

At the sight of it Ayu squealed calling it cute. As for Tatsuya and Futoshi they just watched unfazed just like with Sora's Furnimal's.
"Also, any battle damage I would take involving Kuribohble is instead turned into life points!" Yuya explains as the attack connects and replenishes her life points.
Yuya: 3100 - 3800 LP
"But its not over yet! I activate Entermate BaroKuriboh's effect from my hand! Since my monster was just destroyed in battle I can Special Summon him!" Yuya continues as a new Kuriboh appeared.

Hearing Ayu squeal again Yuya chuckles before returning her attention to her opponent, who much to her amusement was losing his temper.
"I end my turn!" Eita declares.
"My turn!" Yuya says as she draws.

"I activate the Magic Card, Pendulum Call! By discarding one card from my hand, I can add two Magician Pendulum monsters from my deck to my hand! I add Stargazer and Timegazer Magician to my hand!" Yuya explains as she discards a card and acquires her magicians.
"Next, I activate the Magic Card I just send to the Graveyard, Card of Compensation! When it's send from my hand to the Graveyard I get to draw two cards!" Yuya declares as she draws. When she sees the cards she gets an idea.
Seeing that Yuya is setting up for something Eita heads over to a Action Card.
"Action Trap, activated! Welcome! Quiz Action!" the pixel MC exclaims as it appears the moment when Eita picks up and simulataneously triggers the cards activation.
"If you get it right, you'll gain 300 life points! The genre is... Riddles for 300! Question, what is inside the treasure box of a Tanuki?" the pixel MC asks.
"Nothing!" Eita answers.
"Correct! You gain 300 life points!" pixel MC says as Eita's life points increase.
Eita: 4000 - 4300 LP
Eita laughs, before he gets himself another action card.
"I've got it!" he says as he holds it up and it activates.
"Action Trap, Activated! If you get it right, you'll gain 500 life points! The genre is... Riddles for 500! Question, what is a contest in which the loser is laughing at the end?" the pixel MC asks.
"A staring contest!" Eita answers.
"Correct! You gain 500 life points!" pixel MC says as Eita's life points increase again.
Eita: 4300 - 4800 LP
Eita laughed before he rushes of and finds another one, much to Yuya's annoyance.
"Action Trap, Activated!" the pixel MC is about to do its thing but
"Give it a rest." Eita tells it.
"Oh... yes, of course. If you get it right you gain 1000 life points." pixel MC says in disappointment.
"The genre is... Riddles for 1000. Question, Which is sunnier, the road or the sidewalk?" pixel MC asks.
"The sidewalk!" Eita answers.
"Correct!" pixel MC says as Eita's life points increase again.
Eita: 4800 - 5800 LP
"5800 life points... This is really bad!" Tatsuya and Futoshi exclaim.
"She hasn't even attemted to get a action card herself... what could she be planning?" Nico wonders as he looks at Yuya.
"Now here is a question for you, Just who is the pathetic duelist that will rot embarrassingly in the upcoming true Quiz Hell?" Eita asks Yuya.
"True Hell?" Yuya asks with a bored tone as Eita picks up another card.
"I activate, Quiz Frontier - Extra Stage! The heaven of all forms of knowledge! Guide the witless to hell! The correct answer is YOU! Yuya Sakaki!" Eita declares as the action field vanishes and Yuya and Eita find themselves in rail cars.
At the same time Gongenzaka is training by standing beneath a waterfall and meditating.
"Not enough! I am still lacking something!" Gongenzaka shouts.
Back with Yuya
"What the heck is this field?!" she asks.
"Yuya Sakaki, from here on, you'll experience how truly foolish you are!" Eita declares, which simply annoys Yuya.
"You've had a perfect duel so far, as expected of Clarity Duel School's ace!" the MC exclaims.
"From here on, we will be faced with five Action Traps." Eita explains.
"Action Traps? You mean more quizzes?" Yuya asks.
"That's right. If you answer correctly, you gain 100 life points. If you answer incorrectly, you take 100 points of damage. Enjoy your quiz journey! Adieu!" Eita says before the rail carts go into different directions.
Yuya just sighs right before her cart goes faster and toward the first card.
"Action Trap, Activated! Attack Duel Quiz!" the pixel MC exclaims as the card activates and Yuya finds herself in a green space filled with question marks and purplish stars.
"Duel Quiz? Does that mean they're questions related to Dueling?" Yuya asks.
"All right if that's the case..." Yuya says getting ready.
"Big sis Yuya is really good at Duel questions!" Tatsuya exclaims to which Futoshi agrees.
"Question which of these two Raigeki Break cards is correct? You have five seconds." pixel MC asks as two versions of the card appear in front of Yuya.
"The one on the right." Yuya answers.
"Correct! You gain 100 life points!" pixel MC says.
Yuya: 3800 - 3900 LP
At the same time Eita has his question.
"Question, how many teeth does Pot of Greed have?" pixel MC asks.
"Twenty!" Eita answers.
"Correct! You gain 100 life points!" pixel MC says.
Eita: 5800 - 5900 LP
Having enough of the stalling Yuya tries to activate a card from her hand but the cart instead runs into another quiz trap.
"Question, How many people are being blown away by Heavy Storm? You have five seconds!" pixel MC says as the card appears in front of Yuya.
"Two people." Yuya answers but
"To bad! The correct answer is three people!" pixel MC says.
"Three?!" Yuya exclaims surprised.
"That's right!" pixel MC says as the card is zoomed in and indeed there is a third person there, though you would need to zoom in to even recognize that as a person.
"You were incorrect, so you shall take 100 points of damage." pixel MC says, as Yuya is blasted by wind and gets shaken around.
Yuya: 3900 - 3800 LP
"Now she is spinning!" Futoshi says, as Yuya stops shaking though her hair is a complete mess covering half her face.
At that the students start to laugh at Yuya.
"What's the point of making them laugh at you?" Ayu questions.
To her own misfortune Yuya fails the next three questions as well and gets

On the other hand Eita gets all of his questions right.

"The correct answer is...!" Eita says.
"Only One!" the students finish.
At that the effect of extra stage ends and both Yuya and Eita return to the regular Quiz Frontier.
"Do you finally understand how completely incorrect you were to challenge me on this field! The one who will win this duel is me! Me, the perfect and correct one!" Eita says as Yuya unfreezes at last.
Though when she does she starts sneezing again and again.
"What a disgrace." Eita calls her.
"Is it just me or... they like this!" Tatsuya and Futoshi see when they hear the students laughing, but unlike Eita their laughter is genuine.
"Thank you..." Yuya says waiving at the crowd.
"Y-you people! You dare ignore my shining display of skill and instead enjoy this buffoon's failures and incorrect answers?! Don't you think you're being to careless?!" Eita asks in outrage.
"By the way I'm ending this now." Yuya declares.
"I activate the Magic Card, Odd-Eyes Accel! This turn I can Normal Summon one Odd-Eyes monster without Releasing. I Summon Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya declares as her dragon appears.
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon (LV.7) (P.S.4) (2500ATK/2000DEF)
"Next I activate the Magic Card, Foolish Burial! So I send a monster from my deck to the Graveyard." Yuya explains as a card is ejected from her duel disk that she instantly discards.
"Now then I wanted to test this out for a while so here goes! I activate the Ritual Magic, Odd-Eyes Advent! With its effect I can now release Pendulum monsters from my hand or field to Ritual Summon a Dragon type Ritual monster from my hand or Graveyard whose level is equal or less then that of the released monsters!" Yuya explains as a altar with a pendulum swinging from an ornament on it appears along with two smaller altars, one with a gear like circle and a red flame burning on it, the other a circle with a blue flame burning on it. At the same time she takes the card she send to the Graveyard and holds it out.
"A Ritual Summon?!" Tatsuya exclaims surprised.
"What is that?" Futoshi asks.
"A Ritual Summon! It uses a Ritual Magic to summon a high-level Ritual Monster!" Tatsuya explains.
"I release Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya says as her dragon is engulfed in red and blue flames above the alters.
"Dragon with two colored eyes! Be reborn from the depth of the earth to crush those who oppose you! Ritual Summon! Rise Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon!" Yuya chants to which Odd-Eyes ritual form appears.

The entire room fell silent when they saw Yuya's dragon hovering behind her. Little did they know she was far from done.
"When Gravity Dragon is Summoned it returns all of my opponents Magic and Trap cards to their hand! Gravity Pressure!" Yuya calls as Eita's trap returns to his hand making him grunt in annoyance.
"Using Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician, I set the Pendulum Scale! With this I'm able to summon multiple monsters from Level Two to Seven!" Yuya says as her magicians appear in the scales.

"Swing Pendulum of the soul! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Appear my monsters! Entermate Skullcrobat Joker! And Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya chants her monsters return from the Extra Deck.

"This is Pendulum Summoning..." the MC exclaims impressed.
"That's it?" Eita asks.
"Battle Phase! Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon, attack Quiz Monkey!" Yuya calls as her ritual dragon prepares to attack.
"I activate Quiz Monkey's effect! When this monster battles, the opponent must answer, Question, How many Quiz monsters will remain on the field after the end of the Battle Phase?" Eita declares right before a wave comes of his own monster and pushes him to the ground.
Eita: 6300 - 5800 LP
"What just happened?!" he asks in outrage as he gets up.
"That was Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon's effect! As long as he is on the field my opponent must pay 500 life points to activate card effects!" Yuya clarifies.
"As for the question from your monster, the answer is zero!" Yuya states as Gravity Dragon is ready to fire at the monkey.
"Too bad, that won't be happening! Sphin-Quiz's effect activates! Once per turn, when a Quiz monster is attacked, the opponent must answer," Eita declares.
"So it has a question too? Well first you will have to give up 500 life points to activate its effect." Yuya says as Eita is pushed to the ground again by the pressure.
Eita: 5800 - 5300 LP
"It's a simple and easy question! Which monster on the field has the highest Level? If you answer correctly, that monster will be destroyed and its controller takes damage equal to its attack points. If you answer incorrectly, the Battle Phase ends!" Eita explains as he gets back up and then starts laughing like a maniac.
"The highest level is that of your dragons, so, pick which one gets destroyed or end the Battle Phase!" Eita exclaims.
"Sorry but you are the one who is incorrect! Seems like you forgot someone." Yuya says catching everyone's attention.
At that moment from behind Yuya's waist floats a certain furry monster into view.
"Entermate BaroKuriboh is a Level Eight, making him the one with the highest level! Sorry buddy." Yuya says as she rubs her kuribohs head before it pops into particles with the sound of a kurih.
Yuya: 3500 - 3200 LP
"Unbelievable! THE Eita Kyuando was actually wrong?!" the audience exclaims in shock as the MC looks at the duel with even more curiosity.
"Th-that's impossible! How could I..." Eita practically short circuits.
"The attack continues, Odd-Eyes Gravity Dragon, destroy Quiz Monkey! Gravity Spiral!" Yuya calls and her dragon blasts Eita's monster with a blue and gray fire blast.
Eita: 5300 - 4300 LP
"Next up, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, attack Sphin-Quiz! Spiral Strike Burst! When Odd-Eyes battles a Level Five or higher monster the damage is doubled! Reaction Force!" Yuya calls as her dragon disintegrates the last quiz monster.
Eita: 4300 - 1300 LP
"Now, Entermate Skullcrobat Joker, attack and end this!" Yuya says as her jester monster goes over to Eita and gives him a well deserved smack on his head.
Eita: 1300 - 0 LP
Winner: Yuya
"The winner of this duel is me, Yuya Sakaki! Eita Kyuando, you're incorrect!" Yuya tells him.
"I'm... incorrect?" Eita mutters from the ground as the action field deactivates.
"I won..." Yuya mutters.
"Congratulations, Yuya! You didn't forget your dueling fundamentals and turned things around in the end!" Nico tells her as he runs over to her.
"Dueling is a method of communicating with your opponent through your cards. You have reminded us of the original principles of Dueling." the MC tells Yuya to which she smiles.
"Communicating through your cards...?" Eita wonders as he gets up.
At that the MC starts to applaud and soon after, Nico and the entire audience including Tatsuya, Ayu and Futoshi start applauding as well.
Meanwhile Sora wins yet another duel.
"Checkmate! Right?" Sora says as a chess piece crushes his opponent.
Yuzu just observes the duel.
Meanwhile at LDS Reji is sitting in his office.
"President, we've detected another unprecedented amount of Fusion Summoning energy in the city center." Nakajima informs Reji.
"I see. It seems he is winning as well." Reji says as he gets up and looks at the rain outside.
