Do you think you can take down Yuya in the final match or are you worried Sergey might beat you?
Dan: I don't know. Yuya is a tough guy to duel against, and Sergey is also just as tough with the Earthbound Cards. I'm more concerned then worried.
Yuya won against Sayer just in time for Obelisk Force to be the Lancer's primary concern. And now can the Lancers handle Obelisk Force, and protect Celina, and Zuzu? Let's see! And as you might have noticed the Art Cover which was normally Red-Eyes Ultimate Dragon is changed to Dan Kizami himself in season 1 made by the talented Darkhameleon! He is willing to accept any part as long as you provide the coin if you know what I mean. Now let's get in this chapter!
Summary: Yuya, and Sayer's match ends in a big bang with Odd-Eyes landing the final blow against Sayer who felt he was getting attacked for real against the Dragon. Ignoring Sayer's warnings Roget deemed Sayer useless, and carded him for failure just in time to turn his attention to Obelisk Force who had just arrived in the Synchro Dimension to start what they had done in the Standard Dimension. Knowing they must be stopped Declan orders his Lancers to stop the attackers, and show the Synchro Dimension their here for peace, and an alliance. When Dan manages to encounter Sora, who was there to get Zuzu, and Celina, an unlikely ally appears to aid Dan against the Top Commander of the Invasion.

Previously on Ascension of the Dragons:
Sayer, and Yuya were in their match calling with Sayer calling, "Come, Thought Ruler Archfiend!"
Thought Ruler Archfiend appeared ready in place as Yuya countered, "And now Metal Claw attack Thought Ruler Archfiend, and Hyper Psychic Blaster!"
Said Fusion Monster slashed through the two Psychic Synchro Monsters destroying them as Sayer activated Miracle Synchro Fusion, "Archfiend with Vengeance Flames! Combine with the telepathic doctor, and from this mindset of potential rain down your black flames! Fusion Summon! Come forth, level 10! Ultimate Axon Kicker! Attack now!"
The Ultimate Axon Kicker attacked Radish Horse, and Barracuda both were destroyed under the merciless attacks as Yuya laughed revealing, "It's thanks to Performapal Momoncarpent. Thanks to it's Pendulum Ability all battle damage, I would take is cut in half. Axon Kicker's first attack dealt 1350, and the second dealt 1800. Leaving my points just shy of 50 points of damage."
"Stubborn!" Sayer grunted frustrated.
Then Yuya called, "And now finish it Odd-Eyes! Spiral Flame Strike!"
Odd-Eyes fired a blast as Sayer screamed losing the duel as the shadows went overhead where Melissa Trail trailed off, "What in the world?"
"Oh no! Their here!" Celina gasped seeing Obelisk Force on hang-gliders.
Then it shows Sayer being pinned by Sergey as he spat at Roget glaring, "You traitor!"
"Thanks for such kind words." Roget smirked raising his Duel Disk, and pressed a button as Sayer screamed turning to a card in his wake as Roget picked it up before tossing it in the trash, "That takes care of that."
He then turned to his screen seeing Obelisk Force had arrived as Roget finished, "And another one begins."
(Cue Theme: Hyper Drive)

Obelisk Force flew overhead as three members on a building waved to the overglides before one directed to the other two, "The people of this Synchro Dimension won't be making this easy for us. Remember, when you identify the target... use your flares to alert the rest of the squad."
He then smirked ordering, "Now, let's do this."
Meanwhile with the Lancers...
"What the heck? Is this an act no one told us about?"Melissa Trail asked seeing Obelisk Force.
"That's no act. Obelisk Force." Quattro growled seeing them, "Their here to destroy this place just like the Xyz Dimension."
"Well we can't let that happen!" Yuya told him.
Yuto agreed, "I was thinking the same thing Yuya! We will fight them so they can go!"
"Dan, Riley, stay with Celina." Declan told them who were confused as he explained, "Obelisk Force was after both Celina, and Zuzu in the Standard Dimension so their first order of business is find, and detained them both here. While we look for Zuzu take Celina to safety, and protect her from Obelisk Force."
"I'm on it!" Dan nodded taking Riley's hand who blushed as he told the two girls, "Come on, we gotta move!"
"Be careful, Little D!" Gong called to Dan as he nodded running out of the arena with Celina, and Riley.
Meanwhile...
Yuri who was back in the Synchro Dimension looked up seeing Obelisk Force as he grinned, "Well it seems the Professor has grown tired of waiting. He sent Obelisk Force here to end Celina and Zuzu's little game of hide and seek."
Hearing wheels he turned to see Yugo who avoided security rode in from a track glaring, "I've got you now, you snake!"
He rode out of the track stopping across from Yuri pulling his helmet off glaring, "You're psychotic!"
A bit amused Yuri chuckled grinning, "Why, Thank you. And who are you again?"
"You know who I am. Don't play dumb!" Yugo snapped at him raising his fist up.
Deciding to mess with him Yuri questioned, "If what I've heard is true, it's a name more suited to a dog, correct? Good evening, 'pogo'."
Taking the bait Yugo yelled, "I'm no one's dog! The name's Yugo!"
"Of course you're no dog. Dogs are brighter." Yuri laughed seeing how worked up Yugo is over his name.
"Ya think you're funny?" Yugo questioned glaring before declaring, "I'll duel that smile off ya!"
"Really?" Yuri asked with a smirk before mentioning, "Speaking of duels, I just had the strangest sensation that I had felt a bit of anger. And so were you."
"Come to think of it, while I was dueling against Sayer, I had felt quite a bit frustrated with the guy..." Yugo admitted cupping his chin thinking about it before yelling, "But don't change the subject! You're gonna take me to Rinrin right now!"
"Fine. I will." Yuri shrugged before smirking, "I have just one teensy condition."
"Condition?" Yugo questioned.
"I'll take you to Rin right after you tell me where Zuzu is hiding out." Yuri answered which made Yugo gasped before Yuri threatened, "And don't go making up stories to protect her, or I'll make sure you never see Rin again."
"Oh, I'll see Rinrin again!" Yugo promised yelling, "And I'll protect Zuzu... so you never get her! You can try to find her, but it'll never happen!"
"I see. Well... it seems you've certainly made your mind up." Yuri said a little disappointed he won't know where Zuzu is before holding up a spell, "How unfortunate for you, and Rinrin. Guess there isn't going to be a Rin-union in your future."
He activated the card making a blinding purple light assured as Yugo cried out where Yuri called, "Ta-ta! See you never!"
"Hey, get back here now!" Yugo yelled once his vision's cleared only to see Yuri is gone growling.
At Roget's Office...
Roget watched as Sergey exited the truck by Sector Security as he instructed, "Stay in your established positions. Take defensive actions only, and leave it to Sergey to handle the necessary offense."
'Of course without Sayer, Obelisk Force will be tougher to handle but he failed me so it is right to punish him for failure.' he thought bringing his hands together, 'What's more Sergey has to find Celina, and Zuzu before Duel Academy can.'
Seeing Obelisk Force approaching them as Security ordered them to stop only for them to no obeying for Sergey to walk in ready to duel, 'Sergey, better not disappoint.'
With Dan...
Dan, Riley, and Celina were running around the Common's area avoiding contact with Obelisk Force as he grunted, "Man, those guys are everywhere."
"We can't handle this many of them in a battle." Riley said nervously to them.
"Me, and Dan will." Celina told them as they turned to her, "Obelisk Force is only after me, and Zuzu so you should spare yourselves and run."
"No! We won't do that!" Riley told her.
Dan nodded to that, "Yeah, I won't give you away for us to be safe. That's not who I am. Besides Obelisk Force isn't getting you on my watch."
"Dan..." Celina trailed off at that.
Dan has always proven to be brave, and have a strong sense of justice. That's why she grown to like him, she sees him like a younger version of herself from back then always aiming to go head first into danger, and help aid others in their goals but she was always refused the chances to do that unlike Dan who managed to earn his chances. Dan had also have a strong resolve for helping those in need which is why he helped Dennis from being carded by Shay which made Dennis swear his loyalty to the Lancers touched by Dan's act of kindness. And now Dan is promising to protect both her, and Riley against this many of Obelisk Force. It's nice to know he's got your back.
"Come on in here!" Riley said pointing to a abandoned subway as they nodded running in only to find two people in there who were also hiding.
"I'm gonna find Celina. Stay here, and-" the voice of a familiar person started only to hear footsteps of running feet turning over.
Dan gasped seeing who it was, "Sora!?"
It was Sora who they haven't seen since the Obelisk Force Invasion in the Standard Dimension, and with him was Zuzu who was still wearing her Turdo Uniform from her duel with Akiza who looked shocked.
"Dan!" Zuzu cried seeing him.
"Zuzu!" Dan cried back seeing her.
"Well this'll make things tougher on us." Celina admitted seeing them.
At Roget's Office...
"Ah!"
Three Obelisk Force members were pushed back hitting the ground vanishing with Sergey dueling them with Geo Gryphon on his field as one of Obelisk Force said in shock, "Impossible! He's taking us all on by himself!"
"And beating us." the other Obelisk Force said in fear as Sergey summoned Geo Kraken which attacked them, "AH!"
Roget smirked seeing it, 'That's it Sergey. Your all I need.'
Back at the Subway...
Dan hugged Sora who looked shocked as Dan said, "Your okay Sora! I'm so glad to see ya!"
"Uh... Thanks?" Sora asked dumbfounded as Riley went to Zuzu.
"Are you okay Zuzu?" Riley asked her as Zuzu nodded.
"I think so. Are you all okay?" Zuzu asked them.
"Yeah we're fine." Celina answered before turning to Sora once Dan let him go, "But why is he here?"
"Sora rescued me from Sector Security." Zuzu answered to them which surprised the two girls, "After I lost to Akiza, I was being taken away by Sector Security but he stepped in, and got me out."
"But wasn't he with Duel Academy?" Riley asked which caught Zuzu off guard.
Sora placed his hands behind his head answering, "Not anymore. Thanks to Yuya, Zuzu, and little buddy here they made me open my eyes, and now I'm gonna help my home see that what we're doing isn't right."
"So now your like me." Celina said hearing that to Sora.
"Yeah pretty much, and now that your here with me, you can stick with me to where we can figure out what is the true goal for Duel Academy." Sora told her at that before turning to Dan, "And Dan sparing Dennis back there really helped me see the truth, and telling Shay to spare him after he had gone crazy at me. At least I gotten back at him for that."
"I don't toss people like Dennis aside for my benefits." Dan told Sora at that saying to him, "He was hurt, and it's not right to leave him there no matter what."
"Hm... Your barely old enough to be a teenager, you shouldn't be forced to pick up a Duel Disk in this conflict." Sora told him.
Dan shook his head, "No Sora. I want to do this, so we can help everyone, and see why the Professor is doing this cause a peaceful world might not be what he's after. Even if it is this is the wrong way."
"Then we're in agreement." Celina said hearing that saying to them, "As long as we don't encounter Yuri we should be fine."
"Yuri?" Riley asked as Zuzu started shaking.
Dan shuddered as he said, "That was the Fusion Warrior that I encountered before I met Celina going after Zuzu before she was taken here with Yugo."
"Wait you encountered Yuri?" Sora asked him in shock.
"Yeah only once thankfully but he's someone I'd certainly know to avoid." Dan said to him.
"Yeah you got to avoid him! He's one of the three Kings of Duel Academy! The third one but he's certainly more scary!" Sora told him.
Dan mentioned, "Yuri mentioned he's one of the Three Kings. Who are the Kings of Duel Academy?"
"Celina never told ya?" Sora asked which made Dan shake his head no which Sora sighed before explaining, "The Three Kings of Duel Academy are three of the strongest Duelists to be in Duel Academy second only to the Professor himself only taking special tasks for him when ordered also like their the second in command of Obelisk Force wielding powerful Fusion Cards having titles that shows how powerful they are. Yuri, as you know is the third one that is the King that recently got appointed as one known as the Venom Prince... Though he doesn't like being called that."
"Why not?" Riley asked him.
"That doesn't matter. Back to topic, the second King was a Duelist who had saved the Fusion Dimension several times from danger wielding cards that exploted the newest ability to Fusion Summon by shuffle the needed cards back to the Deck, and was also a powerful warrior of dark power." Sora added as Dan widen his eyes having a good feeling who this is, "His Title is the Supreme King, and his name is Jaden Yuki."
"Jaden!? He's also fighting us!?" Dan cried in shock which surprised Sora, and confused Zuzu, "That can't be it! Jaden wouldn't do that, he wouldn't hurt people or anything, the Supreme King does that, not him!"
"Wait you know Jaden?" Sora asked him.
Dan turned asking, "Know is too weak a word! I knew a lot about him throughout his years at Duel Academy fighting the Sacred Beasts, the Light of Destruction, and the Alternate Dimension!"
"Whoa..." Sora said in awe before blinking, "You didn't mention Nightshroud."
"Nightshroud?" Dan asked hearing that finding it familiar, "Why is that name familiar?"
"Because after the Alternate Dimension, Nightshroud took his moment to invade the world to destroy it!" Sora answered which made Dan confused.
"But Jaden's fate was left unknown but alive after he fused his soul with Yubel's." Dan said hearing that.
"Seems like the show left out a few important details." Celina said knowing how Dan is confused about that.
That made Sora, and Zuzu blinked confused, "Show?"
"We'll tell you when we have time. What about the third King?" Dan asked Sora.
Sora nodded before saying, "The First King of Duel Academy graduated but he's still in Duel Academy due to his severe loyalty to the Professor. He is Duel Academy's second most strongest Duelist, and a force to be reckoned with taking lots of risks with his cards, and is also a member of the Cyber Arts! The Kaiser, or Hell Kasier named Zane Truesdale!"
"I somehow knew it would be him but I thought he perished after dueling Yubel." Dan admitted to Sora.
"Nuh-uh! Zane is still alive, and kicking since then!" Sora told him shaking his head, "All three of them are the Professor's top elites, and only answer to him. Just one of them against us is enough to not give them a sweat! Yuri took down 50 Duelists at once, Jaden managed to defeat multiple Duel Spirits, and Zane managed to wipe out several hungry powerhouses which is why we need to avoid them at all cost!"
"Starting with Obelisk Force." Zuzu told them.
Dan told them, "Me, and Riley need to protect Celina, and now that we found Zuzu we can keep her safe as well. Can you help us keep them safe Sora?"
"No problem little buddy. I gotta teach these thugs a lesson." Sora grinned before noticing something behind them, "And speak of the devil."
At that the other four turned seeing three members of Obelisk Force founded them with smirks.
"Obelisk Force!" Celina grunted seeing them.
"What a treat! Both of them at the same area. The Professor will reward us handsomely once we take them back." one Obelisk Force smirked seeing them.
Celina yelled, "Sorry but we're not going with you!"
"That's a challenge there." the second Obelisk Force laughed as they activated their Duel Disks ready to begin.
"Alright time to get working!" Sora grinned at this.
Dan told him, "Let me help ya Sora. I've actually wanted to try my luck against these guys."
"Got ya little buddy. Just be careful they use Burn Cards." Sora told him as he nodded getting ready.
"LET'S DUEL!" all five declared.
Meanwhile with Roget...
Roget was looking out at the city before a transmission called, "Sir, we've spotted two targets in Sector Romeo-Tango-55-Dan Kizami, and Riley Akaba!"
"Ah!" Roget turned his attention to the map who transmissioned where it is.
"They appear to be engaged in a battle with a Unit from Obelisk Force." the woman stated for him, "It appears that both Celina, and Zuzu are also present!"
"Celina, and Zuzu!?" Roget asked in shock with widen eyes before slamming his fist against his chair thinking, 'The Lancers, and Duel Academy are both fighting over them! But I won't allow either group take control of those two!'
With that thought he quickly contacted Sergey saying, "Sergey head urgently to Sector Romeo-Tango-55-! Celina, and Zuzu are there right now with the Lancers fighting Obelisk Force! Retrieve them both at all cost!"
"Understood." Sergey's monotone voice responded before hanging up.
Roget grunted looking out.
With the Lancers...
"Blaze Falcon attack!"
"Superstar destroy that Hound!"
"Go Odd-Eyes!"
The three attacked Obelisk Force as they cried out vanishing.
"Obelisk Force doesn't know when to stop." Yuya grunted at this.
Shay looked around, "Their relentless, and merciless."
"That just means we have to keep on fighting until they stop! As long as Dan, and Riley are with Celina, and we still keep going then we can continue on against these Fusionites!" Sylvio pointed out to them.
They nodded in agreement knowing their numbers are in large against Obelisk Force. Dan, and Riley are both tough duelists so they didn't hold anything wrong with Declan's decision to have them both protect her against Obelisk Force, and as long as the Lancers can still fight they can also fight against Obelisk Force to protect them all, and this Dimension as one. They only hope that now the Synchro Dimension will listen to them about Duel Academy.
"Come on we still gotta move!" Gong called over as they nodded running over to them.
Back with Dan...
"AGH!" Obelisk Force cried landing hard on the ground defeated as they vanished.
"Not so tough." Sora grinned.
Dan wiped his forehead, "Ancient Gear Cards. Same like Dr. Crowler but different with terms with fighting style."
"Well don't rest cause that's only the first wave." Sora told him as three more Obelisk Force walked in.
Dan readied himself only for Obelisk Force to step aside allowing someone to walk in. Someone who Celina, and Sora recognized, "You?"
"So I see the Professor still has you under his leash. Barrett." Celina glared seeing the eyepatched man that was with her is here now.
"Nice to see you, too, Celina." Barrett said simply seeing her.
"You know this guy?" Dan asked them.
Sora answered, "One of the Professor's Top Commanders, and one of the strongest soldiers of Obelisk Force."
"If you think of bringing me, and Zuzu to Duel Academy, you're wrong cause we're not going anywhere!" Celina yelled at Sergey.
Barrett only stared before walking closer to where Dan stood in front of her which made Barrett stop, "Step aside."
"No way!" Dan yelled at him, "If you want her, and Zuzu go through me!"
"Is that so? Shouldn't be a problem." Barrett said hearing that, "No one will stop me from carrying out my mission."
"Anyone except me will do that." Dan mentioned to him activating his Duel Disk, "Hope your ready."
"Wait Dan let me take him! I know him better, and-" Sora started only to stop when Dan gave him a look where his eyes told him to let him do this where Sora stared before nodding, "Good luck."
"Dan, be careful." Zuzu said as Barrett activated his own Duel Disk.
"You just made a bad decision. And I'll make you regret it!" Barrett declared.

"By not being allowed to summon monsters normally, I can Fusion Summon a Beastborg once per turn!" Barrett told Dan before saying, "But first I activate Dark Sentinel's ability to destroy that face-down on your right!"
The machine fired a blast at Dan's face down which was Negate Attack as Dan grunted.
"And now with Beastborg Fusioner's effect I fuse Reborn Tengu with Dark Sentinel!" Barrett called as the two fused, "Fusion Summon! Appear a second Beastborg Panther Predator!"
At that a second Panther Predator appeared roaring brandishing it's sword.

"And as Reborn Tengu left the field it's effect activates summoning another one!" Barrett added as a second Reborn Tengu appeared.

"And now I activate Medal with Shield's other effect!" Barrett called as the trap vanished, "By sending this card to the graveyard, I can increase Panther Predator's attack points by 100 for each Medal Counter!"

"Oh no Dan!" Riley cried knowing what's next.
"And now I activate Panther Predator's Special Ability! It's Quasar Beam will now deal 1500 points of damage!" Barrett called as Panther Predator fired a blast at Dan.

Panther Predator yowled charging, and striking Red Dragon Archfiend destroying each other as Dan grunted.
"Your monster's gone but mine will remain. As Panther Predator is destroyed by battle, I can summon the monsters used to summon it." Barrett said as his first Reborn Tengu, and Dark Sentinel reappeared.

"Indeed. But as a solider you have to take pain to give way to victory." Barrett told Dan simply, "I am a veteran, and a disciplined one at that so now as you said during this turn's end phase, I take damage."
Barrett's Duel Disk gave out shocks at him as he stand unflinchingly. (Barrett: 0400)
'He really is a battled hardened solider for taking so much damage. I don't like this, why would he risk so many Life Points, and place those Reborn Tengu in attack mode?' Ray asked seeing Barrett's playing style.
'I don't know enough but what I do know is that I have to take out that thing on my turn or both Celina, and Zuzu are captured.' Dan told her seeing the field, 'With only Damage Eater in my hand, I really need a miracle draw.'

"What?" Dan asked hearing that.

"Dragonwing!" Dan cried before noticing something as Crimson Chains also wrapped around him as he cried out, "What the!?"
"Dan!" the four cried in shock.
Barrett told Dan, "I wouldn't want you to be left out so I let you join your monster. Crimson Chain's other effect also forbids you from summoning a monster or activate any spells or traps!"
"I can't summon or use Spells, and Traps?" Dan asked in shock at such a powerful ability.
"So he can't do anything, and his monster's also can't do anything? That's not fair!" Riley cried in horror seeing her boyfriend can't do anything he would normally do to change thing's around.
"I don't care if it is or not. Orders are to get Celina, and Zuzu at all cost." Barrett stated simply.
"Dan can still use the abilities of his monsters, or attack with monsters not under Crimson Chain but the odds of summoning a new monster are not possible if he can't summon anything. Which means he has to use his monster's abilities." Sora told the three girls.
"Exploder Dragonwing can't use it's ability though." Riley said to him covering her mouth with tears.
"Which means monsters in his graveyard or hand are what he can use." Zuzu said hearing that.
Barrett told Dan, "You've dueled enough times to know when a comeback is impossible. So save me the time and the trouble and have the girls over to me."
"I won't!" Dan yelled to him.
"As a solider I can respect standing up for a comrade but it's better if they come with me willingly." Barrett advised him.
"What makes you think I will do that?" Dan questioned.
Barrett answered, "Because if Obelisk Force captures them instead of me there's no telling what they will do to Celina, what levels of discipline they will dish out on a traitor."
Turning to Celina, and Zuzu he continued, "But I can protect her from the harshest of punishments."
He turned back to Dan saying to him, "Listen Dan, though Celina and I may fight on different sides now, I haven't forgotten the years we spent together side-by-side, battling for the same cause. So let's just end this now. I swear that I will help her. No one cares more for her than I do. This is for the best."
While struggling against the chains Dan told him, "You swear it, but that isn't good enough. Besides I don't give anyone out for my benefits so if you think I'm just gonna hand them over your wrong! Even though you know her more, and even if I'd believe that which I do, I won't let you take them!"
"Why would you fight? This war isn't you business, and you still chose to fight Duel Academy." Barrett questioned him, "Your skills are nothing to laugh at but wars are no place for children to be in. So why are you in this conflict?"
"Because, I got something to do, and a promise to keep." Dan said turning to the four as he smiled, "And also doing what I can to help."
"If you say that then give me the girls." Barrett told him as Dan turned back, "You stated you believed me so if you do why not we stop this duel, and give them over?"
"It's cause I told ya. Sacrificing others for me is selfish, and that's something I am not." Dan answered him with a stern expression, "And I told you before, you want them go through me! Even though I am chained up it ain't enough to change my resolve!"
Narrowing his eye Barrett asked, "Is that so? How do you intend to stop me when you and your monster are all in chains?"
"I can still use my monster's abilities as long as they don't involve summonings, and that means I can still fight no matter what the odds are!" Dan declared to him.
"Dan, I'll help ya!" Sora said reaching to activate his Duel Disk.
Dan yelled at him, "No, Sora!"
"What?" Sora asked in shock hearing Dan refusing his help.
"This is my fight, and I'm the one that started this, and that's how it's going to stay!" Dan told him.
Barrett impressed admitted, "Once again I respect you. You are truly a natural soldier."
"Think what you want it doesn't change anything at this point." Dan told him, "And no matter what Celina, and Zuzu are not going to you!"
"Dan..." the two trailed off.
"Tough talk is cheap. When your side loses - and your side will lose very badly - let's see if you'll sing a different tune." Barrett told him coldly.
"Well bring it! I'm not afraid!" Dan declared ending his turn.

"You will be!" Barrett called drawing his card looking, "You toughed out my first barrage, but now I'm calling in the heavy armor! Due to Beastborg Fusioner's effect, I can fuse the Carrier Sentinel, I've just drawn with one of my Reborn Tengu to Fusion Summon a Beastborg!"
The two fused as he called, "Fusion Summon! Come my third, Beastborg Panther Predator!"
At that a third Panther Predator appeared yowling.

"If you couldn't handle 1 Beastborg what can you do against two, Dan?" Barrett asked Dan, "Especially when Panther Predator has set it's eye on you! My ferocious feline will inflict damage equal to half of its attack points this turn. Fire your Quasar Beam and deal 800 points of damage!"
'Dan!' Ray cried as Panther Predator charged up.
'I know!' Dan told her before calling, "I activate Damage Eater's ability in the graveyard!"
A fiend popped out catching Barrett off guard, "What?"
"When you use an effect to inflict damage, I can banish this guy from the graveyard for it to feast on that effect!" Dan called as Panther Predator fired a blast only for Damage Eater to swallow it, and turned to Dan giving him energy, "And then the damage you just now tried to inflict is added to my Life Points!"

"He survived." Riley sighed in relief.
"Not yet." Zuzu said worried, "If Barrett destroys Exploder Dragonwing, Dan will be open which allows the third Reborn Tengo, and Panther Predator to attack him!"
Dan grunted hearing that, 'Yeah that's bad!'
"You can't save Celina, and Zuzu. You can't do a thing! What's it gonna take to get through to you?" Barrett asked Dan.
Dan answered, "By proving that first hand by beating me!"
Riley started shaking as Obelisk Force approached them passing Dan remembering unpleasant memories as Dan yelled, "Hey get back here! I'm who you all are fighting not them!"
"You can't fight anyone." Barrett stated simply.
"Then we will!" Sora said standing next to Riley.
"Why would anyone willingly choose the losing side? Hahahaha!"
Hearing the familiar voice they looked over seeing who was there in a pathway was Yuri having a grin as Dan gasped, "Yuri!"
Barrett grunted as Yuri did a somersaulted leap in the air landing in front of the Lancers, and Sora as he said, "So many traitors in such a small space. The Professor will not be happy."
Zuzu started to shake horribly remembering him from his match in the Standard Dimension as Yuri continued, "When it comes to turncoats, he isn't very forgiving. Of course, the same thing applies to you, too, Celina. You're both in it, deep! And Barrett, I can't believe you couldn't handle such a simple bounty hunt. Heh, actually I can. You can leave now. I'll handle things from here. I'll be taking these four fools into custody."
Seeing Dan he raise an eyebrow, "Ah, I know you. You were from the Standard Dimension during my match with Zuzu. Looks like Barrett has you all tied up. Ah well, beggers can't be chooser so once I'm done here I'll be back for you. That is if Barrett hasn't made you a mince meat of his Beastborgs by then."
Dan grunted to him keeping his fear in check sweating nervously as Yuri grinned, "Of course, if you insist on standing up to me and my posse, you can stop dueling Barrett, and we'll gladly fight you."
"Oh, we'll fight all right!" Celina declared hearing that.
"Great!" Yuri smirked hearing that, "We may as well have a little fun, don't you agree? You, me, her, Sora, and that kid there are against me. And you do understand that once we draw our cards this will be a duel to the finish. Only one of us will be walking away from here."
"Yup and it's gonna be me." Sora said to him popping a lollypop in his mouth as he told the girls, "I'll take him, you stand behind me."
"I finally found you, you snake!"
Something crashed through the window as they looked where Dan asked nervously, "Now what?"
What it was stopped where they see from pulling the visor of his helmet up Zuzu cried, "Yugo!"
"Zuzu?" Yugo blinked seeing her, "What are you doing here? And why's Dan chained up?"
"As usual, your timing is terrible, Pogo." Yuri sighed before glimpsing at him, "Come now. Can't you see we're occupied at the moment?"
"So what!?" Yugo yelled at him deciding to question what's going on later, "I've got a score to settle with you and we're settling it now! That's what you get for taking Rinrin!"
"Rinrin?" Dan asked hearing that.
"You can't lay the blame on me." Yuri told Yugo closing his eyes, "I was following a direct order from a higher up the food chain."
"Well, you shoulda cancelled that order!" Yugo yelled at him.
"What the Professor wants, the Professor gets." Yuri told him simply with a sly grin, "He wanted in, just like he wants me to get Celina, and Zuzu now."
"I won't let you do that!" Dan told him, "If you want them, once I get through Barrett, you'll go through me!"
"Not to offend Dan but since I've beaten ya, I get the dibs on this guy." Yugo told him which caught Yuri's attention.
"Excuse me... You beat this kid?" Yuri asked him surprised before stating, "In that case, I think I'll accept your challenge, Yugo."
Turning to him he smirked as they stepped back. Barrett meanwhile turned to Dan stating, "Listen kid, you have no idea what Yuri will do to Celina if she's in his hands. Let me keep them safe. Come on! It's the only option if you care about Celina!"
"I told ya before Barrett." Dan said turning back to him, "I don't toss people aside or sacrificed them for my benefits! And even if I believed you would keep them safe, I won't stop defending them from you!"
"Since you won't cooperate, I'll have to break you." Barrett declared deciding to stop trying to change Dan's mind, "Wolf Kampfer, set into the attack, and strike at Dragonwing!"
Wolf Kampfer charged in slashing Dragonwing as Dan cried out. (Dan: 1500)
Dan grunted before seeing Dragonwing is still in play as he asked, "Hey, why's Dragonwing still in play?"
"Due to Crimson Chain's effect monsters chained up by it can't be destroyed in battle." Barrett answered that question before stating, "And since I dealt you damage Wolf Kampfer's special ability orders up a tactical strike that blasts away 300 of your Life Points!"

"Give up and end your suffering!" Barrett yelled at Dan.
"No! I won't!" Dan yelled at Barrett.
Yugo, and Yuri prepared themselves as Yugo told Yuri, "You've reached the end of the road, you punk!"
"I think you meant to say the end of your road, silly." Yuri grinned to him, "After all, your odds of winning are zero."
"Well, I like those odds!" Yugo yelled before stating, "Wait, that doesn't make sense but I'm gonna beat you anyway!"
"I cannot believe I have to duel this moron..." Yuri trailed off in annoyance at that.
"Oh you better believe it!" Yugo yelled activating his Duel Disk, "This moron's ready to fight!"

"Reunite... and become whole just as before." Yugo stated in the same voice, "I shall resurrect."
"Resurrect... and return back here. Back as one." Yuri added to the drama.
"What are they talking about?" Dan asked hearing that not getting a good feeling as a storm starts to brew above them.
A member of Obelisk Force mentioned, "Things are getting crazy."
"We must stand firm and hold our ground." another stated to the other before Yuri started walking, "Where's he going?"
"No idea." the third Obelisk Force admitted.
"Reunite... as one." Yuri stated walking to Yugo.
"Reunite... as one." Yugo repeated that.
"I'M RESURRECTING NOW!" the two screamed out as both their dragons roared to the skies.
"NO!" Ray screamed as Zuzu's bracelet brightly glowed startling her as they cried out from the sudden glow as Yuri was pushed off.

Dan looked like he forgotten to blink seeing Yugo, and Yuri are gone before hearing Ray breathing heavily as he asked, 'Ray, was that all about? Yuri, and Yugo kept saying to reunite, and resurrect? And their dragons started roaring like mad? And your real worried about them? What's going on here?'
"I... I promise, I'll tell you everything once we're done here."Ray told him catching her breath, "Now isn't a good time. You have to stop Barrett, and Obelisk Force."
Dan nodded hearing that deciding she's right that now's not the time to know everything before turning to Barrett to finish the match.

"Very well, I'll just have to finish you." Barrett said to Dan as they turned to the first duel, "I end my turn, but it's game over Dan, I told you that you would fail, but you refused to listen. The moment you chose to duel me, there was no hope for you escaping in one piece."
At that Dan grinned, "No hope?"
"Hm?" Barrett asked at that.
"If you... If you think I'm gonna believe that there's not any hope, then you obviously don't know me." Dan told him, "I told you before I went in this battle to keep a promise, and that's that. And that is how it's going to stay!"
"What promise is that?" Sora asked curiously.
Looking down Dan told them, "Celina, Riley. I wasn't being truthfully honest before we came. I actually know my mother."
"You do?" Riley asked in shock.
"Well not really. I never met her or anything, but I do happen to know what she's like." Dan admitted to her, "When I turned five Foster Care gave me a letter that belong to my mother for me to read. I read it a lot, and can still remember the words: 'My Dear Boy Dan Kizami, I wish I would be there with you to watch you grow, and assist your life, but I have to do something for a world beyond anything we know...'."
Flashback 5 years ago...
"...That can change the ways of life as we know it now. Your father is keen on doing what he can for this world, and I want to join him. I also wanted you to join us, but he told me that you can't telling me that if we both fail you will have to carry on." a younger Dan wearing blue pajamas with the Superman logo was reading a letter late at night, "Carrying on what? I'm not certain on what it is, but I do know that you can live on the legacy. So never lose hope, and always remember to help others. Sometimes hope is all you got when all else falls apart, and hope can lead you to where you need to go. Be careful my son, and good luck if we don't do our part. I love you, signed your mother."
Dan placed the letter down as he stared at the window saying to himself, "Mama... What did you, and Daddy have to do that also meant leaving me behind? What legacy is that?"
Seeing something like a house on fire he gasped before running out to the house as a fireman stopped him, "Stop kid we're doing our part!"
"Let me go, I have to help them!" Dan yelled struggling as he sees a small girl was in the house looking afraid before a beam above her gave out as she screamed.
Flashback End...
"AH!" Dan screamed remembering the awful memories.
"Dan!" Sora, and Riley cried seeing that.
"I won't make that same mistake, and let anyone else down!" Dan yelled covering his eyes tightly.
Barrett while listening to the story told him, "Hope is all you got? Then how far can that hope gave you as you had let them down!"
"I haven't yet!" Dan yelled with tears, "I'll figure a way to get out of these chains!"
Hearing something shatter they look seeing something jump in raising up showing it's...
"Sergey?" Celina, Zuzu, Dan, and Riley all asked in shock seeing the Earthbound User found them.
"Intrusion Penalty: 2000 Life Points." the Duel Disk said shocking Sergey. (Sergey: 2000)
Sergey 1st Turn:
Sergey looked seeing Dan before calling, "I activate the Field Spell, Earthbound Tundra!"
At that the field changed in as ghost hands flew up.

When this card is activated: Declare 1 card type (Monster, Spell, or Trap); when a player draws a card of the declared type their opponent must discard 1 card, and if they do inflict 500 damage to it's owner. "Neither one of us can summon a monster in attack mode, and all monsters in attack mode can't change battle mode!" Sergey explained his Spell's effect, "And when this card activates, I declare 1 type of card, and if a player draws a card that's the same as the one declared you must discard a card, and then you take 500 points of damage. And if the declared card is the one that's discarded I can summon a Earthbound Peon Token to my field! The card I declare is Spell!"
"An Earthbound Field Spell." Dan said looking around stepping back.
Barrett wasn't quite as nervous instead angry as he snapped, "I don't know who you are, but I don't take too kindly to those who interrupt my battles. Especially those who then have the nerve to threaten me! Go ahead and make your move, you freak!"
"I will." Sergey told him before stating, "When there is a card in a Field Zone, I can summon Earthbound Prisoner Stone Sweeper!"
The blue fish appeared from the ground.

Sergey told him, "Not on their own no but by combining their strengths they can be. And it helps with this spell, Harmonic Synchro Fusion!"

"With this, I am granted the opportunity to Synchro Summon, and Fusion Summon!" Sergey said as both Line Walker, and Stone Sweeper split.
Barrett asked in shock, "No way! Synchro Summon and Fusion Summon?"
"Yes, and I start by tuning Line Walker with Stone Sweeper!" Sergey called as the two flew up with Line Walker turning to 3 rings while Stone Sweeper turned to 5 stars.

"Revive from the depths of the earth. Gigantic beast with wings of punishment! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 8! Earthbound Servant Geo Gryphon!"
Geo Gryphon flew up cawing.

As this continued on Celina notices something, "Wait... Is anyone else noticing Sergey is acting different?"
Hearing that they turned seeing that as Sergey called, "Battle! Geo Kraken attack Panther Predator!"
Geo Kraken fired a blast as Barrett watched on in shock as Kraken destroyed Panther Predator as he screamed.

Dan & Sergey wins the duel!
Barrett landed hard down as they watched while the chains broke off Dan freeing as he sighed glad to be out of them but confused on why the duel's over.
"Barrett?" Celina asked seeing that.
"Oh, no! Barrett lost!" one of Obelisk Force cried in shock.
"Celina, I may have lost... but I'm still carrying out my mission." Barrett said before suddenly grabbing her heel startling them as his Duel Disk glowed, "You will return to Duel Academy, but I will not be able to protect you!"
"Barrett, no!" Celina cried seeing this knowing what's gonna happen.
"Quit it!" Sora cried attempting to run over only to be held back by Obelisk Force's Hunting Hounds, "You can't send Celina back there!"
"Time to go!" Barrett said to Celina as she, and him started to glow purple.
"No! Celina!" Dan cried running before tripping crying out, and accidentally stepped on Barrett's Duel Disk hard causing it beep, "Huh!?"
"Malfunction. Warning: Guidance System Failure. Jumping to Dimension in 3 seconds."
"No, you brat what have you done!?" Barrett cried in shock hearing that.
"Dan!" Celina cried to him.
"Celina!" Dan cried before she, and Barrett vanished.
(A/N (bopdog111): Don't worry Celina fans. She's not in the Fusion Dimension.)
"Their gone." Riley said in shock seeing that.
"One down, one to go." one of Obelisk Force said walking to Zuzu who tensed before to there shock Sergey ran, and got in front of them prompting Obelisk Force to stand back from his glare.
"I defeated 30 of your comrades before you. Would you want to join them?" Sergey offered them raising his arm.
"This mission just got way more risky." one of Obelisk Force told his team.
"Without Barrett or Yuri's help, I'm not sure we'll be able to capture that girl anymore." the second member admitted.
"Let's retreat for now." the third decided pressing a button causing the three of them to vanish.
While they sighed at them being gone their confused on why Sergey decided to help them while noticing how different he is as Dan asked, "Sergey? Why did you help us?"
"...First off." Sergey turned to them, "Nick."
"What?" Sora asked hearing that.
"That's my real name. Nick Almargo." Sergey answered before widening his eyes placing a hand on his head grunting, "I don't have much time but listen to me!"
"Ser-Nick? What's wrong?" Zuzu asked him concerned.
"Roget. He had placed a mind control chip in my brain." Nick told them shocking them, "Dan's story made him free from it but only for a moment! He's the one who ruined me, and made me what I am!"
"What are you talking about?" Dan asked hearing that.
"I was a peaceful Common years ago living with a beautiful woman, and her brother, and have a child on the way." Nick explained to them, "But one day a Security Raid stormed in, and destroyed everything including her, and our child... Her brother then decided to storm out without me saying I'm the reason she's gone. I want nothing more then to make things right which is what Roget offered."
Flashback...
A tearful Nick was crying over rubble slamming his fists down raining, "Damn it, Rachel. Just when we reached a point in our lives where we can live peacefully, this happens. They took you, and our child from me. They made Terry change. I... I want to make things right. But how can I?"
"Ah, I believe I can help."
Hearing that Nick looked behind him seeing a younger Roget smirking, "You said you want to make things right?"
Nick: I accepted his help without question, and even when I learned he's the Director of Security I still accepted his help to where he offers his sympathy for me wanting to shape New Domino to the way it's suppose to be. But then things started going downhill when he said lies.
"Sergey, I have something to tell you." Roget said to Nick who exited a lab for his daily cyborg checkups as he turned to him.
"What is it, Roget?" Nick asked him curiously.
Roget stated simply, "We found Rachel's belongings, and her letters are troubling."
"Of what? Troubling of changing the city?" Nick asked him.
Roget shook his head, "Of you."
"Me?" Nick blinked.
"She hated you, and wanted nothing to do to you." Roget stated simply shocking Nick, "She sees you as nothing more of a monster with your aggressive abilities, and nature. She asked herself why she would love such a monster."
"No, no she... She would never.." Nick said holding his head shaking it, "She wouldn't..."
"Face facts, Sergey. What I'm telling you is the truth." Roget told him bluntly.
Nick then started screaming.
Flashback End...
"I know he was lying knowing that Rachel would never say such things." Nick told the shell-shocked four, "I still accepted his help cause he's what I have left of me to keep me from killing myself, and my free will was taken allowing him to control me."
"That's..." Sora trailed off in shock.
If Dan haven't hated Roget before he does even more due to his actions, no qualms in killing, and now this. Forced a man to become the opposite of what they are, and tell them their family hates them. That isn't right.
"I still want to make things right but in the right way." Nick said before grunting, "I was programmed to be a weapon to dethrone Jack Atlas."
"Jack?" Dan asked in shock.
"Yes. And now I want someone to stop me before hand cause Roget will rule over Synchro!" Nick said as he grunted harder, "We're out of time, his control will grow back any second. You all need to go!"
"Nick, we can help you if you let us-"
"NO!" Nick snapped at Zuzu who flinched, "The control is too strong! Just go, and help me another way!"
"Nick..." Dan trailed off as Sora took his hand.
"Come on little buddy you heard him!" Sora said as Dan reluctantly nod as they ran off.
"DAN!"
Hearing that Dan looked over as Nick turned, "In our match next... Free me from Roget's mind control!"
Dan looked on before nodding, "That's a promise Nick."
With that they ran off just in time for Nick to be controlled again back as Sergey.
At Roget's Office...
Roget screamed grabbing his head, "Both Celina, and Zuzu got away! And thanks to Sergey's error from that brat it freed him to tell everything! That's it! Dan Kizami has been a thorn in my side for LONG ENOUGH!|!|!"
His shout echoed throughout the building.
"In his match, he will DIE!" Roget promised.
That was long but now complete! Obelisk Force invaded, and Dan was helpless against Barrett but thanks to Sergey or Nick he's free, and now he promises Nick to save him from Roget who in turn is planning to kill Dan once, and for all for getting in the way.
