Is there anyone in particular you either do or don't want to end up running into? Other than Yugi since you just did meet him but what about people like Kaiba, Joey, Pegasus, Marik, or on the the other hand... Dartz, Gozaburo, or maybe even Zorc himself?
Dan: Well I also want to run into Joey, Duke, and Mokuba as well, and hopefully Atem! Who I don't want to run into is Yami Marik, and definitely not Zorc!

We're now onto the next chapter of the Ritual Arc in Ascension everyone! Last we left off Barrett was taken down easily by Yuji who then lost to Celina to test him out. Seeing his potential she offered to teach him more on his Deck, and then the Divine Will of Synchro transported half the Lancers to the Ritual Dimension who then encountered Yugi Muto himself! What's gonna happen here? Let's find out!
Summary: The Lancers arrived in the Ritual Dimension, and soon quickly discovered that it's the home of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! anime, Duel Monsters, and now they have to find Celina, and Barrett after explaining the situation. They found Celina training Yuji to be ready for Duel Academy as she tells him what he needs to do to get stronger while a dark mist begins to manifest following Barrett's defeat. After being informed what happened Celina, Yuji, and Chie all agreed to team up with the Lancers, and prepared to head back to the Synchro Dimension to reunite with the Lancers only for their Guidance System to reach an error. From this they went to Kaibacorp where they founded out it was the work of a boy who was thought to be erased in it's Network...

The Lancers had just gotten a surprise encounter.
The group that had gone to the Ritual Dimension to find Celina includes; Dan (With Ray), Yuya, Yuto, Yugo, Shay, Riley, Zuzu, Aura, Gong, Tate, Allie, Frederick, Dipper, Kit, and Julia had just arrived all together thanks to the Divine Will of Synchro's magic had arrived to Domino City that catches Dan off-guard from seeing the entrance sign, and someone asked if they needed help with anything. Everyone didn't expect who to encounter, and needless to say... Dan voiced how shocked they are.
"Yugi Muto!?"
Said man stood surprised at Dan's shocked cry. He seen the Lancers believing them to be visitors, and thought to help them out but didn't expect them to know him already, "Uh... Yeah that's me." He looked to them curiously, "Who are you all?"
"Oh uh..." Yuya stumbled trying to find the words to tell him. He was then bumped, "Hey!" Looking too see Tate, Allie, and Frederick gathered around Yugi really excited which prompt him to sweardrop, "Oh boy..."
"Yugi Muto!"
"Your the real Yugi Muto!"
"Your an amazing legend! We love you!"
Yugi's head was spinning from how much praise, and fanlike the three are treating him unable to figure out what to do. The only thing he can do is utter, "Uh... Thanks, I guess..."
"Well I guess fan clubs are gonna be eventual." Dan's eyes widen in shock as he looked to see someone transparent floating beside Yugi with an amused grin. This man looks exactly like Yugi except he's more mature, and older with his jacket off as a cape almost like Yuya's own Paradise Prep Uniform's jacket showing a black tank top with small muscles. He also has his hair different in terms of color, and appearance. "It happens like this huh Yugi?" Dan just couldn't stop what he blurted out next...
"NO WAY ATEM!?"
Everyone turned to him with startled expression not to mention shocked looks come from Yugi, and the transparent Yugi's faces. Blinking looking around seeing he has everyone's attention on him be turned red blushing, "Oh... S-Sorry..."
"You can see Yami?" Yugi asked him shocked. Dan looked to him, and nodded which prompt him to ask, "How?"
"Well... It's complicated." Dan admitted to him. Ray appeared beside him which made the two blink seeing her. Now understanding that Dan can see Atem cause of Ray he nodded to this before Atem asked, "But how do you know me young man?"
"It's a long story." Ray explained to Atem seeing no option but answer since she, and Dan can see Atem, and he with Yugi can see her. At his puzzled look Ray only shook her head, "We got a lot of things to talk to you about. But we need to find someone first."
"Find someone?" Atem asked hearing that.
Feeling weirded out by the silence to them Dipper asked Dan, and Yugi, "Hey, you two alright? Your making me nervous."
"Huh? Oh sorry me, and his-" Yugi started only to notice Dan shaking his head no about Ray. Seeing this Ray told Yugi, "Don't mention anything about me. They don't know I'm with him, and their are good reasons why." Hearing that he nodded before correcting himself to the Lancers, "Me, and my partner are just surprised by that he knows him."
"Your partner?" Yugo asked looking around. From what he sees their is no-one here as he said, "I don't see anyone else."
"That's because you can't see him Yugo." Dan explained it to him. He then asked them, "I did tell you that Yugi has a partner that is like a second personality to him didn't I?"
"Uh... You kinda left that part out..." Kit remarked to him annoyed. Seeing Dan being sheepish Kit sighed, "Be sure to not to leave out ANY detail next time alright?"
"Right sorry." Dan apologized to him bowing, "I'll be more sure to remember what to tell you all."
"So how exactly did you know Yami?" Yugi asked Dan curious.
Dan blushed before saying, "Well... Let's say I'm not from this Universe."
"Not from this Universe? So your from an alternate one?" Atem asked him hearing that. Dan nodded to him as he added, "Yes, I am from an alternate Universe. All of this including my friends are suppose to be fictional. But now I know they aren't, and I am a big fan of this franchise as a whole. You, and Yugi are the first to ever lead this off to where it centers on your adventures together with Kaiba, Joey, Tea, and everyone else. But... I thought you went back home with your relatives after Yugi defeated you in the Ceremonial Duel, and then rescued him, and Kaiba from Diva after he was corrupted by the Millennium Ring."
Yugi nodded hearing that. While being shocked from what Dan explained it makes sense that's how he knows Atem, and their Ceremonial Duel, and confused what he meant on his other thing but decides to ask him later he explained, "Well he did. But he came back saying that something not from this world is happening that is threatening everything else."
"That must be Duel Academy." Zuzu said hearing that giving some thought before mentioning, "If this threat that isn't from this Dimension is happening then their's no other way to know what it is."
"Of course that he would be here if it weren't for Duel Academy." Yuto agreed hearing that. He then give some thought saying, "And if that's possible then Duel Academy will eventually figure out this Dimension."
"And that can happen since Dan messed up Barrett's Duel Disk which transports him, and Celina here." Aura mentioned to them which made Dan pause looking down, "So now we gotta hurry, and find them before things can get worse."
"Yugi." Atem said to him which made him look. Atem asked to him, "You don't think she meant those two Yuji, and Chie are looking over?"
Dan blinked hearing that, 'Yuji, and Chie?'
From what he remembered about the original series their was no-one named Yuji, or Chie in the anime, and if their is he would kind of remember. He knows that Yugi travels only with Atem, Tea, Tristan, Duke, Joey, and on occasion Kaiba, Mokuba, and several others. But never with anyone named Chie, and Yuji are what is with him. Could this mean that is also an alternate to what takes place after the ending of the original series like how the Synchro Dimension is after Aporia's defeat (Z-ONE's from what he's told by Team 5D's)?
Yugi gave a nod to Atem, "Yes, Yami I think that is what she meant by that." He turned to the Lancers stating, "Me, and Atem knows where those two are." They looked over to him surprise as he explained, "Their both being looked over by friends of mine named Yuji Narukami, and Chie Wheeler. They should still be being taken care of by now."
"Well let's get going!" Gong declared hearing that clenching. He then added to them, "The sooner we can find Celina, and stop Barrett the better!"
Nodding they followed Yugi, and Atem to where Yuji, and Chie lives. Unaware to them a dark mist was spying on them having heard everyone as it smirked in a distorted voice, "So they are from a different reality... This will make the future Shadow Games much interesting." He then flew away looking around before finding a couple with one being a white haired young man having on the same uniform as Yugi except he doesn't have the Puzzle as it smirked, "Found you Bakura..."
The Lancers with Yugi, and Atem continued heading off before they arrived at a house as Yugi nodded before the door burst open, "YUJI!"
They covered they ears looking to see it was a dirty blonde haired boy with his hair in a sporadic hairstyle with dark brown eyes having on a blue denim one jacket, a white T-shirt underneath and blue jeans carrying a Duel Disk like Yugi, and Yuji's on his left arm. He blinked seeing them with Yugi having on an annoyed look as he sweatdropped, "Ah, sorry Yuge. Thought you were Yuji."
"I've noticed." Yugi remarked annoyed. He then shook his head asking, "Joey is Chie still here with that guy?"
"Of course not!" Joey yelled to him. He then clenched his hand, "That same guy took Chie, and demanded for him to hand over that girl he was with!" Shocked looks spread on the Lancers looking at each other with Dan looking immensely worried, "I was gonna call you to help me get her back but you weren't answering your phone!"
"It was DEAD!" Yugi pointed out. He then said to them, "Well listen what Yami said is true cause that same guy is with what was threatening the other worlds different then ours." He gestured to the Lancers saying, "These people came to help us, and they need their friend back."
"Well their gonna have to wait cause my baby sister is in danger!" Joey yelled like an overprotective brother.
Dan widen his eyes, "Serenity's in danger?"
"What? No, I wasn't talking about Serenity since she's with Moneybags..." Joey answered before muttering to himself in a annoyed pout at the word 'moneybags' before regaining his look saying, "I'm talking about Chie!"
'There it is again... Joey never had another sister named Chie.' Dan thought hearing that. Turning to Ray he then asked her, 'Does this mean Chie, and Yuji are...?'
Ray nodded having been thinking the same thing, "Me, and Zarc's other selves from this Dimension. Which means we gotta find them quick."
Nodding hearing that Yugi told Joey, "Where are they?"
"They should be in the park Yuge! Come on we're getting her back!" Joey answered nodding as they ran off.
They run expecting to find Barrett but instead we're in for quite a shock.

"Okay my turn!" Yuji called drawing making his hand three looking too see, and smiled. A smile Celina recognized from his last match with her before he grinned to her, "Okay Celina here's this! First off Slayer banishes Serenade Dance thanks to Hoardhound!" Slayer charged energy in his Bone Spider Legs firing a lightning blast making the trap vanish in particles before he added, "And next up let me show you a new form of Ritual Summoning!" He raised his drawn card up, "Since I have this card in my hand, I can sacrifice monsters to Ritual Summon this card without a Ritual Spell!"
"What? A monster without a Ritual Spell?" Celina asked surprised having never hearing of that.
Slayer, and Striges both vanished as Yuji raised his arm up ready to begin.
"The Forgotten Dragon with a Determined Soul! May it show salvation for these undead souls who joined their loved ones! Ritual Summon! Level 7, Forgotten Soul Ritual Dragon!"
From the graveyard portal rose up a dragon different. It has darkened black scales with scars on it's body with three large ones on it's chest area where it's heart resided. It has four talons on it's arms where large wings they are dark gray in the wings, and having long legs with two talons on the front, and one at the back shaping as an armored dragon. It's tail is also quite long with two rows of spines at the left, and right with the end having a bone almost like a wrecking ball with a sharp spike on it. It also has a long neck a horizonal blue stripe pattern all over it at the scales with a blue underbelly on it, and it's body. It's head is also shaped like a lizard's with four blue glowing eyes, and it's snout has a small scar on it with two fangs present almost shaped as a Vampires with two horns that are straight on both sides of it's head on top. Being summoned the dragon let out a large roar.

Ray looked at the dragon in shock, and almost worried as the Lancers, and Celina looked at it amazed as it flew around the field flapping it's wings to stay in the air staring at Celina's field. Yuji grinned to her, "Meet my ionic card Celina. Forgotten Soul Ritual Dragon, and something that you don't want to mess with! And now three things happen!"
"Three?" Celina blinked hearing that.
Yuji gestured as the graveyard portal opened, "First Slayer's effect sends Striges to my graveyard while adding Revendread Origin to my hand." The Ritual Monster brought Revenants back with him as he handed a card to Yuji who took it before Striges flew back out cawing, "Then Striges is summoned back when sent to the graveyard!"

Yuji added as Forgotten Soul started to meditate with closed eyes as green energy from the graveyard portal flew to him coating him in a green aura while embracing himself which surprised them, "Forgotten Embrace!" Forgotten Soul spread his arms out while guiding them down while raising his head up with an opened mouth as if casting a spell while a green mist like ring flew from him to around the field that hit Panther Dancer who groaned kneeling down turning grey.
Lunalight Panther Dancer: (Effects Negated)
"I haven't even gotten to the best part!" Yuji gestured his arm to Striges who cawed before green energy flew from it to Forgotten Soul's jaw as it turned to dust vanishing which creeps the kids out but Chie only smiled as Yuji shot his hand forward, "Forgotten Soul's next ability takes the cake!" Forgotten Soul rose up glowing green as it gathered energy in it's jaws, "By sacrificing a monster on my field, all of your monsters that are Level 5 or higher loses half of their attack points!" Forgotten Soul snapped his jaw shut directing his vision to Celina's field most notably Panther Dancer, "Soul Drain!"
Forgotten Soul blasted a mist attack from it's jaws at Panther Dancer which enveloped it which weakened her.
Lunalight Panther Dancer: (ATK: 2800 / 2 = 1400)
"This guy's got a Dragon to?" Yuya asked surprised seeing it.
"And one that can stop abilities, and also make them weaker, it's almost like mine, and Yuto's!" Yugo added shocked while Yuto stared in awe.
Yuji then pointed to Panther Dancer, "And now Forgotten Soul! Attack Lunalight Panther Dancer!" Forgotten Soul flew up not flapping his wings at a sonic speed stopping above the clouds looking down before Yuji called, "Fel Carrier Strike!" Coating itself in the green energy Forgotten Soul flew down spinning around at a fast speed as the green energy forms it as a green tornado heading straight down to Panther Dancer who was to weakened to avoid being struck in a big explosion as Celina grunted bracing herself. (Celina: 2800)
Forgotten Soul flew back to Yuji's side behind him where he belongs as his master gave him a proud grin before setting a card, "Okay Celina, I end my turn here." He then readied a grin, "Okay what will you do here?"

"Huh not bad Yuji. I gotta admit that's quite a dragon you got, and it really does use the power of your cards." Celina admitted to him drawing.
Yuji grinned hearing that, "Well thanks but here's this! I activate the trap, Vendread Reunion!"

You must be able to Ritual Summon to activate and to resolve this effect.
"This card's effect allows me to reveal the Vendread Battlelord in my hand." Yuji explained showing the card in his hand. He then added, "Then both Revenants, and Hoardhound returns to the field face-down!"
Two sets cards appeared on the field which confuses Celina as he grinned, "I do have cards that uses my Deck's use of banishing, and this is one of them! Reunion then Tributes those monsters, and Ritual Summon!"
The two vanished as the altar opened as he raised his arm.
"Battlelord of the Army of the Infected! Take up your cleaver, and use it to carry the souls of your fallen comrades towards salvation! Ritual Summon! Level 7, Vendread Battlelord!"
At that what rose was a gray armored zombie warrior who's armor is made from multiple bones covering his body with two large spikes from his shoulders with a blue orb at his chest. He also has skulls in place of pads on his knees, elbows, and shoulder guards with it also being his helmet with two smaller horns on them with flaming blue eyes like a skull coming to life having a flowing black cape that looks torn, and worn up. It is also holding a massive blade that seems to be made for the same bones as it's armor almost like a butcher cleaver being bladed at one side with bones all over it. It cackled evilly as it swung it's cleaver like sword resting the unbladed part on it's shoulder with a bone chilling grin.

Allie shook clearly scared of Battlelord's appearance, and the grin it's giving up, "Tate..."
"Stay close." Tate said holding her to protect her in case Battlelord does something.
Celina looked on at Battelord not intimidated before asking Yuji, "So what can this Ritual Monster do? Without Revenants, or Hoardhound what will it do?"
"I'm glad you ask." Yuji grinned before turning to Battlelord saying, "By banishing a Vendread card from my graveyard, I can prevent you from using a card of whatever type I pick for the rest of the turn." He then turned back to Celina saying, "And if sent to the graveyard when Ritual Summoned, I can add another Ritual Monster from my Deck to my hand, and send another Vendread to my graveyard."
"So your Deck doesn't solely focus on your Dragon." Celina said hearing that. Looking up at Battlelord she said, "It also uses the art of banishing for multiple benefits, and also uses Lockdown methods along with reducing the attack points of your opponent's monsters." She looked back to Yuji said, "And it also grants extra effects to your Ritual Monsters that are Vendreads to make up for their lack of effects, and weaknesses, and when sent to the graveyard it can ready your Deck for another Ritual Summon based on battling Slayer, and Chimera, and from seeing Executor, and Battlelord right now. Is that right?"
"We have a winner." Yuji said hearing that with a grin. He nodded to her saying, "Yes, your all right with that since my Deck uses Lockdown, and ways to limit my opponent's abilities to prevent them from going after my weaknesses, and grant my monsters extra effects to gear them up against hard formations along with preparing for another Ritual Summons if it doesn't work out well."
Dan couldn't believe what he just heard. He had never heard of a Ritual Deck that is like Yuji's, and it amazes him to say the least. A Deck that is able to use Lockdown, Extra Effect Granting, adding resources, Ritual preparation, and banishing benefits all at once is unbelievable. And another thing is his Dragon, Forgotten Soul which fits in the Vendread Deck for it's effect of using monsters on the field, and sacrifices a monster to make his opponent weaker. It wouldn't be surprising if Yuji haven't beat Celina even with all of that for him honestly since she's so strong, and uses multiple attackers, and effects that make them immune to whatever their opponent tries.
"That sounds unbelievable." Julia admitted stunned from hearing all that. She then remarked, "What kind of Ritual Deck is that? It top-classes all of the other Ritual Decks, LID has before!"
"And I'm not sure if my Deck can manage against his..." Aura admitted nervous if she has to battle someone like Yuji.
Celina then gestured to her hand, "Again not bad but it can't help here."
"Huh?" Yuji was confused over what she meant.
That is until she held up White Rabbit's card, "As long as it is my turn, and not a Special Summon, I can use this gal from my hand! Lunalight White Rabbit!"
White Rabbit rose up readying her hammer in play.

"And whenever she can bring back a Lunalight from my graveyard!" White Rabbit slammed the ground with her mallet as the graveyard portal open shooting up a monster, "Which means, I can summon back, Panther Dancer!"
Panther Dancer rose up readying herself again yowling. (Defense Position)
'And she has Crimson Fox to stop me from using Battlelord's ability...' Yuji thought grunting. That was before he sees Panther Dancer's in defense, 'But if it's in Defense Mode, she can't attack...' "Wait..." He widen his eyes, "You must be-!"
"That's right! Fusion Summoning!" Celina confirmed showing a Polymerization activating it.

Yuji, and Chie stared at the large monster in awe not from it's beauty but too how powerful it is now, "And now for it's ability!" They turned to her who said, "You can't target or effect Leo Dancer with your cards which means Revanants can't banish it even though with Crimson Fox in my graveyard you can't do that anyway! And then this gal can attack twice every turn!"
Yuji grunted hearing that from losing his two monsters, "That means I would lose my Dragon, and Battlelord..." That was before he pointed out, "However, I would survive the attacks, and have a monster ready for me due to Battlelord's effect since Slayer's ability allowed me to add a Ritual Spell, and I also have what I need to build a Defense afterward!"
"Yeah, your right." Celina confirmed only to grin, "If it wasn't for her third ability..." That alarmed Yuji, and Chie as she revealed, "After her first attack when you take damage, then all of your monsters are destroyed!"
"A Raigeki effect after it attacks!?" Chie asked astonished while Yuji stepped back stunned from what they just heard.
Celina pointed to Forgotten Soul, "Leo Dancer first up take out his dragon!" Leo Dancer charged in circling her opponent as Forgotten Soul looked around to find where she's attacking from before she stopped charging in, and before it can react she slashed him in half destroying him as Yuji frowned seeing his Dragon's destruction. (Yuji: 1200) "And now Leo Dancer use your ability!" Leo Dancer struck down Battlelord destroying it as Yuji grunted before she stopped in front of Yuji as Celina called, "Now finish him!"
Leo Dancer slashed down on Yuji as he sat down on his butt looking amazed from that as Leo Dancer vanished from the Duel's end.

"Well... That wasn't my best effort." Yuji admitted as Chie helped him up.
"Chie!" startled the three looked over seeing Joey running over taking her in a hug, "You alright! Did that man did anything!?"
"Joey... Get off me!" Chie yelled struggling to get off her brother, "Your embarrassing me!"
"Guess that's her brother." Celina admitted a bit weirded out before she, and Yuji noticed the Lancers, and her eyes widen, "Dan!"
"Celina!" he cried running over as they hugged each other.
The Lancers headed over with slimes or some grins as Yuya smiled, "Glad to see your okay Celina."
"Glad to see your alright." Celina smiled back standing up after hugging Dan. She soon notices Yugi widening her eyes, "Is that...?"
"Yup, Yugi Muto." Yuji confirmed with a grin standing next to her. He waved to Yugi, "Been a while man."
"You two, Yuji." Yugi waved back with a smile. He then asked Celina, "Where's the guy that was with you?"
Celina gave a hardened look, "You mean Barrett..." She turned to Yuji saying, "He had defeated him pretty easily." They turned over to Yuji hearing that but after seeing, and hearing what his Deck is about it made sense, "And I am busy shaping him up so he can be ready for Duel Academy." She then told Yuji as he looked over, "And I can see that your potential is much more then what you showed in those last two duels. Definitely lots of it aren't exploited but I can help you un-cover them. Starting with the art of banishing cards. Vendread Reunion is a useful card like that but it won't work by itself. What other cards do you have that uses banishing for benefits?"
"Well..." Yuji gave thought before answering, "I have a Necroface that shuffle all banished cards back, and gain 100 attack points for each."
"Well that'll be useful." Celina admitted hearing that nodding. That was before she said, "But with the act of you are with banishing cards you can use cards that can take advantage of it." She pulled out a spell called Soul Absorption to make her point, "Like this card for instance. Soul Absorption allows a player who controls this face-up to gain 500 Life Points for every card that has been banished. With you banishing a lot of cards you can recover from a lot of damage, and survive big attacks." Yuji looks in awe from hearing that blinking before she added, "And with both Necroface, and Reunion you can repeat banishing your cards all over again so can gain more Life Points." She then shows another spell which was Pot of Desires, "And this, Pot of Desires banishes your top ten cards to draw 2 cards." Yuji's eyes widen as she grinned, "Looks like your catching on. Like what I said before, Soul Absorption allows you to gain 5000 Life Points, and Necroface gains an extra 1000 points from it. The only downside is that Reunion can't use the cards banished since they'll be face-down."
She then asked him, "Get the picture?"
Yuji nodded hearing that as Chie sighed with a smile, "Well guess he just got himself a coach from it."
"Hate to interrupt..." Kit trailed off as they looked over to him. He then pointed out, "But we were sent here by Synchro's Deity to find you, and bring you back to the Synchro Dimension so we can continue up to Duel Academy."
"Duel Academy?" Yuji, and Chie asked blinking.
"Synchro's Deity?" Celina asked blinking herself. She then asked, "What had happened since I was gone?"
"Well..." Dan trailed off before saying to her, "I had dueled Sergey who was Nick, Roget had ruined his life, and forced him into his puppet. I had managed to stop him with the Battle Fusion you had given me." That made her grin hearing that, "Then it was the finals to where I dueled Yuya, and showed my own art for Double Tuning to him but despite that he won against me. Then Yuya dueled Jack, and he lost against him but he had fun." He then grew a frown, "But Roget stepped up after the Elders stand down from their position looking to declare Martial Law as New Domino's King." She gasped hearing that before he said, "I tried stopping him but he was cheating since every time I defeat him he joins back in with a digital clone of himself. I was gonna lose... But the Elders rammed their helicarrier into Roget's to stop him. It worked but... They died as a result." That made Chie gasped in horror while Joey, Yugi, Atem, Yuji stared in shock while Celina froze shocked while the Lancers looked down as the kids started to tear up, "Jack convinced us to not let that give Roget the chance to escape, and we caught up with him. He declared to send us to the Void Between Dimensions, and start a machine. But something stopped it, and we founded out it was her."
"Her?" Celina asked.
Dan nodded before revealing, "The God of the Synchro Dimension, the Divine Will of Synchro." Celina looked shocked as the Ritualians exchanged awed looks, "She had her eyes on Roget, and was gonna punish him forever but I ask her to let me settle things with him, and she accepted. He was using a Dream Mirror Deck instead of the Ancient Gears, and despite that I managed to win." He then smiled, "She then said his sentence was to suffer until time stops by making him live forever... She also said that my parents are alive somewhere in this Universe."
"Wait your parents are okay?" Celina asked shocked.
"Yes. I couldn't believe it either." Dan answered that, "She doesn't know where exactly they are but their in any of the five Dimensions, and told us of the Ritual Dimension, and that you were in it. I asked her to have us in so we can find you, and we ran into Yugi. We then find Joey to look for you, and we went to the park to look, and the rest is history."
Celina wasn't sure what to think from all the things Dan just told her. She was glad he was able to stop Roget, and free Nick from suffering but was shocked that the Elders had sacrificed themselves to stop Roget from cheating more, and that Dan's parents are still alive with him meeting the Divine Will of Synchro. She was relieved that he's okay, and angered at Roget for the things he had done even more. But now they have new allies to stop Duel Academy if nothing else. After exchanging a brief debate Yuji said, "We will go with you."
They looked over as Chie said, "No way are we gonna let these Fusion Creeps take over our home!"
"I'll be in too! These guys won't forget the name Joey Wheeler!" Joey grinned to them.
Yugi smiled nodding, "Me, and Yami will also team up." Atem appeared beside him giving a grin with a nod.
"Thanks guys." Yuya smiled hearing that before saying, "Well... If we're all ready we should get going."
They nodded as they activated their Duel Disks to head back to the Synchro Dimension waiting as energy charges as Riley takes Dan's hand who smiled to her as she smiled back.
"ERROR!"
Shocked they looked too see that their Duel Disks are registering errors. Julia checked what the problem is seeing that the Guidance System is offline, and hacked, "Something hacked into our Duel Disks so we can't transport back to the Synchro Dimension!"
"But who would do this?" Dipper asked frustrated.
Yugi then mentioned to them, "Come on. I know someone who can fix this mess."
They all ran to follow me just as a screen from a ATM fizzled revealing a face as he smirked to the retreating heroes before vanishing.
Meanwhile...
"What is going on!?"
It was the outraged cry of a young man having brown hair wearing a long purple trenchcoat, a black turtleneck shirt, and matching pants with steel wristbands on both of his wrists walking down a hall holding a tablet with a young boy on a green blue-striped shirt with a yellow vest over it, dark blue jeans, and blue sneakers, a dirty blonde haired woman having on a pair of light blue denim shorts and long white socks with blue sneakers while her top is a sleeveless pink and white shirt with a high collar that is worn on top of a short-sleeved yellow shirt, and a man having on a suit with glasses, and mustache on having been notified of some hacking.
"Mr. Kaiba we are trying to locate the source of the hacker but nothing is coming up!" the man explained to him.
Kaiba only scoffed, "They must be really good at hiding..." He then directed as they enetered a computer room to the workers, "Look harder! That scumbag has to be here somewhere! Access outside should be completely blocked!"
"You don't think it's Zigfried again, Seto?" the young boy asked him.
Kaiba only shook his head, "No Mokuba. He, and Leon had struck a deal with Pegasus sometime back so he wouldn't try anything after the KC Grand Championship. Whoever this is, has to be smarter then him."
"Kaiba! We need your help!"
The three looked over to find Yugi, Joey, Yuji, Chie, and the Lancers heading over to them as the woman cried, "Joey! Chie!"
"Hey Serenity!/Sup, Serenity?" the two greeted back as they exchanged a hug together.
"Why am I not surprised you'd be here Yugi... And bring an army here." Kaiba said nonchalant to the Lancers who blinked. He then asked Yugi, "So your here for this hacking as well?"
"Yes Kaiba." Yugi nodded while Dan stared at Kaiba in awe. "Our Duel Disks are being hacked by something here."
"We're looking over everything but there had been no signs. Whoever this is has either be stupid, or smart." Kaiba said to them before noticing Dan's stare. A bit offended he questioned, "What are you looking at?"
Snapped out of his stupor from that Dan blushed looking down twiddling his fingers, "Uh, s-sorry Mr. Kaiba... I just wanted to see you for real since I first heard of you so-"
"Ah save it, I don't need a fan club." Kaiba dismissed holding up a hand which made Dan blink. He then told Yugi, "Hope these people won't slow us down."
"They won't Kaiba since one managed to beat Yuji." Chie mentioned to him which surprised the four.
"They defeated Yuji?" the boy asked shocked.
Celina nodded revealing, "And that's me. His Deck had lots of untapped potential, and I'm helping him bring them out." They looked to her as she explained, "I'm Celina. We're the Lancers, and we are tasked with a mission to stop Duel Academy from destroying all the Dimensions. They were looking for me but our Duel Disks were hacked before we can leave to head back to meet with the rest of our allies."
"Do what you want." Kaiba mentioned crossing his arms. He then sees the suit man approaching, "What is it Roland?"
"...It's something you should see." Roland said slowly.
Hearing that they all headed over where a screen was in static before revealing someone in a red high chair that has it's back turned away from them as Kaiba glared, "So your who is hacking my company huh?"
"Ah, I believe it's corrected our company since before huh, Seto?" a young boy like voice from the screen asked him.
Hearing that voice made Kaiba's eyes widen with Mokuba, Yugi, Joey, Serenity, Atem, and even Dan's eyes widen in shock with gasps which confuses the Lancers, Chie, and Yuji as the chair turned over revealing who it is.
Who was in the chair was a boy with a smirk holding his head up with his hands having on a white long-sleeved jacket with purple markings, white shorts, navy blue knee socks and brown loafers along with having green hair at the back and while the front has teal hair with him having blue eyes and fair skin.
"No way... Noah!?" Yugi asked in shock seeing the boy.
While materializing a wine glass of water to drink he held it up raising his head while smirking, "Well, well if it isn't Yugi Muto, the King of Games. It had been a long while hasn't it?"
"But... But you, and Gozaburo were both destroyed with the Virtual World after Seto stopped him!" Mokuba argued seeing this.
"Yes that's true... But my being had been restored back to what I was before." Noah explained before sipping on his wine glass. He then toss it aside smirking as they can hear it shatter, "Unfortunately, I'm still stuck in Kaibacorp's mainframe so I have to get to the Real World the only way I know how. And maybe our visiting friends from another Dimension can assist with that."
"I'm... Sorry? Who are you suppose to be?" Yuya asked him confused.
Before he, or any of the Ritualians can answer Dan answered, "That's Noah Kaiba." They turned over surprised as he turned to them explaining, "Before Seto, and Mokuba were taken in, Kaibacorp's previous CEO, Gozaburo had a biological son who made him study all day but he seems to enjoy it. He then got involved in a incident where Gozaburo uploaded his mind into Kaibacorp's computer, and Noah was stuck in it for years. Gozaburo intended to install him into Kaiba but decided not too since Kaiba was more of what Gozaburo wanted his successor to be. After those years he had used the Battle City Tournament back then to trap several people into the Virtual World to escape, and get back into Reality but was stopped by Yugi, and had aided them against Gozaburo when he tried fighting them himself, and was left behind accepting that he had left himself in a back-up file after being touched by Mokuba's kindness for treating him as a brother."
Kaiba, Mokuba, and Serenity were all shocked that Dan knows Noah to such an extent while those who had heard of Dan's different situation already figured out how he did as the three exchanged a look of shock. The Lancers, Chie, and Yuji were also horrified to learn that Noah's own father didn't restore him back after saving him from the incident (even if being trapped in Kaiba is a bad thing), and just left him there for many years.
Noah meanwhile looked interesting, "Well well, I didn't expect to encounter anyone who would know a lot about me..." They all turned back as Noah smirked to Dan, "Then I have a feeling that you sorta know what I am doing next."
"Hacked our Duel Disks so we can't leave so we can help you get a real body?" Dan guessed the reason since Noah was now on good terms.
Noah while a bit impressed Dan guessed something like that chuckled shook his head which confused him before stating, "A good guess but no... I want to use one of your own bodies for that. Along with getting rid of any ant who stands in my way."
"What? Noah what happened!? You weren't acting like that when you helped us against Gozaburo!" Mokuba asked shocked from what he just heard.
Noah smirked to him, "I do appreciate you acting like that, and teaching me what brotherhood is like despite all I'm doing, and teaching me what I've done is wrong..." He frowned, "But now I got a new purpose, and my dreams of when I take over Kaibacorp haven't changed..."He then growled closing his eyes before snapping them open declaring, "To now stop a war from happening one way or another!"
Hearing that made the Lancers suddenly recall something in the Synchro Dimension.
Flashback...
It was during Dan's Duel with Primo with Yusei looking serious questioning, "Primo answer me. How did you get back? You were absorbed to make Aporia, and also an android."
Primo turned to him before he closed his eyes, "Very well Yusei you are bound to know sooner. Let me explain." He then explained his encounter who it was that revived him offering him a chance to be revived in exchange to stop the Dimensional War finishing before he added after Yuya asked him someone wants his help, "Yeah. I don't know why he would go to me of all people but I do know that he is no fool, and trust no-one else!"
Flashback End...
'So much for no-one else...' several of them thought.
Yuto then mentioned to Noah, "We know what your talking about."
"Hm?" Noah turned an interested glint to the Lancers.
"We also encountered someone who had a similar goal." Dipper explained it to him. He then added for him, "His name was Primo, and he met someone who revived him back to stop the Fusion Dimension. But now he had teamed up with us to stop them since our goals are alike. If your brought back the same way then we can work together as well!"
"Yes, which means you can assist us against them." Tate added agreeing with that.
"You don't deserve to be stuck in a computer!" Allie mentioned to add up.
"And we all have similar goals in mind!" Frederick finished up for his friends.
"What we're saying is that we're also trying to stop the war." Yuya added with a smile to Noah. He then asked him, "How bout it? Will you join us against Duel Academy?"
They all turned to Noah waiting for a response as he stared at them. He then started giving out a laugh which confused them before he smirked, "Thanks for the offer... But I got another idea in mind. I will get a body again from one of you, and then lead Kaibacorp to stop the war, and continue on with the way I had envisioned it when I take over my way!" He then stood off his chair smirking to them, "If you want to stop me then Seto, and Yugi will guide you to what... But just know that I will be waiting for you all to come!"
The screen turned to static signaling the time for talking's done.
"Well that could've gone better." Kaiba grumbled at that.
"Guess this means we have to beat Noah for you all to reunite with your allies." Yugi said to the Lancers as they grunted hearing that, "Me, and Kaiba gone to the Virtual World in the past to stop him so we will also take you all there."
"I can't believe he would act like that." Zuzu grumbled annoyed by the way Noah just brushed them off like that.
Dan shook his head, "It's not your fault. It's the luxury, and the desire to be free from the computer got into his head no matter what." He then said to them, "I know what we can do in the Virtual World. We all stick together, and find him."
"Only problem is that we don't have enough pods for all of you." Mokuba mentioned to them, "So your only gonna have to go with some of you in."
Dipper stepped forward the moment Mokuba said that, "I'll head in."
"I'll go in at his side." Dan said after hearing that knowing Noah can't be stopped without him.
"So will I." Zuzu added wanting to help Noah.
"Me too!" Aura stepped forward as well.
"Me three." Riley stepped forward also.
"Don't forget bout me." Yuji said raising his hand with Chie.
Kaiba only smirked, "Then let's see what you all can do."
In a Virtual Realty room the Lancers along with Kaiba, Mokuba, Yugi, and Joey are all heading in the Virtual World to stop Noah, and figure out a way to help him. Dan's pod was beside Riley's as he smiled to his girlfriend who smiled back as their hooked up while Yuya said to Zuzu, "Zuzu be careful."
"Thanks Yuya." Zuzu smiled a helmet was placed on her head.
"This is new." Dipper admitted looking over himself.
"Almost like a video game in VR." Chie mentioned to them.
Kaiba said to her, "That's cause it is. We don't know what Noah has in the Virtual World so be careful."
Dan couldn't help but ask, "Well not to offend but shouldn't we leave Mokuba here? He might try to use him against us like he did in the past."
From being reminded of that Kaiba grunted gritting his teeth as Mokuba assured with a smile, "Thanks for the suggestion but Noah's my brother... And it's a brother's job to look after each other."
"Well... I don't have a sister, or a brother." Dan admitted hearing that.
"Just know that we gotta look out for each other." Mokuba told him as the pods lowered down on them as they watched.
Shay looked at them leaning on the wall with his arms crossed, "Okay. Good luck."
That was before their minds were transported into the Virtual World.
Meanwhile...
Noah watched as screens popped up from where he's sitting showing the Lancers, and the Ritualians in separate locations as he smirked, "Well they came just as I intended them..." He then direct his attention to Dan, and Riley by themselves looking around on a bridge, "Well now the Simulation File: Villains should work on them or another, if all else." With that he put in some data releasing it on their screen.
With Dan, and Riley...
The two looked around standing on the bridge. Dan recognized where their at, "This is the spot where Kaiba had dueled Lechiter while they were fighting Noah themselves."
"What do you think we can encounter here?" Riley asked him looking nervous.
"I don't know. But let's stay close." Dan answered.
"Yes stay close so you can both die together."
Hearing that they looked over with Dan asking, "Who's there?"
Who stepped forward was a bald man having pointed ears, and has perpetually wide eyes surrounded by heavy black circles and have very small blue pupils. He has many piercings all over his head: three near his right eye, one on each ear, three near his lip, one nose ring, and one lip piercing. He wears a black shirt and red pants with yellow suspenders. He wears a green bag across his chest, which is used to hold his Duel Disk. He wears large black shoes and has four studded cuffs on his arms, one at his wrist and one near his shoulder on each arm. He also wears a chain around his neck with a keyhole pendant at the bottom.
Recognizing him almost immediately Dan gasped, "First Noah, and now Strings!?"
"He's creepy..." Riley shivered hiding behind Dan.
"And now that you both are my prey it is time to begin dueling with our lives at stake." the man Strings said to them while activating his Duel Disk.
Seeing this Dan grunted wondering what Strings is able to do now. From what he remembered from him Strings uses a Slifer Deck that uses five specific cards to both make it invincible, and have a bizarre advantage over him. He was controlled by Marik over this by the way of claiming Yugi's Millennium Puzzle, and failed after Yugi used his Deck against him. The one thing is that he doesn't cheat. Despite his nearfound fear he has to protect Riley before saying, "Y-You want her, Strings! Go through me!"
"Fine by me, it doesn't matter who it is I kill." Strings said nonchantaly.
Dan turned to Riley telling her, "Stay behind me Riley. I'll take care of Strings."
Riley nodded to him only to scream which made him turn, "What's wrong!?"
His eyes widen seeing their is someone else behind them. It was a magician having on pink robes that resemble spikes on the shoulders with a black inside with blue, and black vertical striped shirt, and bowtie, with the same on his mask that has two curved down spikes, and top hat with it also being pink at the rim, and at the top with black buttons down with the same colors pants, and black shoes with a smirk himself.
"Arkana now!?" Dan asked in shock seeing the man.
"While he is busy with Strings, I'll take care of you myself little girl!" Arkana smirked activating his Duel Disk at Riley.
Riley shook in fear seeing this as Dan grunted having no choice but let Riley handle Arkana saying to her, "Riley... I know it's scary but I know you can beat this guy... Let's both team up against them okay?"
Riley hearing that looked over before nodding as the two activated their Duel Disks going back to back as the two Rare Hunters done so as well.
"DUEL!"
And with that we are in roots to where Dan, and the others are now gonna have to battle Noah Kaiba, one of my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! Villains to fix the hacking he made on their Duel Disks. Next time we can see Dan, and Riley against Strings, and Arkaba with some resimising on several cards on account of GX. What cards are those? Find out next time!
