Chapter 508 Spa Surprise

The Gravity Falls gang, along with their protectors and guides were having a fun time in the casino playing games, drinking fancy drinks, some alcoholic and some nonalcoholic, and watching various shows, along with Samantha, Alcor, Nyx, Ying, Chi, Kai, and Elise. Toriel, Jenka, Sheo, Sly, Isaac, Hornet, Baby Depression, and the rescued monster kids were also having fun in the casino, though they mainly stuck to the shows.
Finn found himself sitting at a bar with Phoebe, Jake, Fern, Gata, BMO, Undyne, and Mack sipping drinks. Undyne decided to share some important news with Finn and his allies.
"Looks like things have settled down in Waterfall. Looks like you'll be heading towards Hotland next." Said Undyne.
"I guess so." Said Finn.
"Yeah...the thing is I won't be going with." Said Undyne.
"Whys that?" Asked Fern.
"Let's say, the weather in Hotland doesn't agree with me." Said Undyne.
"Is it because you're a fish monster?" Asked Phoebe.
"Pretty much. The environment in Hotland drys me out real quick and zaps my energy especially if I'm wearing my armor or if I'm fighting or doing exercise. I'd end up being dead weight if I went with you." Said Undyne.
"I could probably rig up a cooling and hydration system for your armor." Said Gata.
"I appreciate that, but I already got a scientist friend of mine working on something like that in her spare time. It'll get finished at some point. You just focus on your own mission." Said Undyne.
"Whose your friend?" Asked BMO.
"Her name is Alphys and she's the current Royal Scientist. Alphys worked with Gaster and Sans and was promoted to Royal Scientist after a lab explosion in True Lab resulted in Gaster's death. Sans was considered for the position, but he turned it down. Guess he didn't want to work in the building his brother died in, brought up too many memories." Said Undyne.
"So will Alphys help us in Hotland?" Asked Finn.
"She will, along with any researchers, engineers, staff, and guards currently at True Labs. I sent them a message about keeping an eye out for you." Said Undyne.
"I guess Viper and Loke will accompany us in Hotland." Said Jake.
"They will. I also sent a message to the local sheriff in Hotland." Said Undyne.
"Sheriff?" Asked Fern.
"Well technically he is a member of the Royal Guards, but he has a thing for cowboys and westerners, so he likes to be called sheriff and dress as a cowboy. His name is Starlo and he has a crew of people he calls the Feisty Five, though they sometimes go by the name Feisty Four, when Starlo isn't with them." Said Undyne.
"Sound like a interesting bunch." Said Gata.
"They are." Said Undyne.
"Alright so our first goal in Hotland is to locate the Colosseum of Fools to enter that tournament to win the last Crystal Star as well as enter the Sibling Showdown tournament to win that wish." Said Finn.
"I think you should enter the regular tournament and me and Jake will enter the Sibling Showdown." Said Gata.
"You're sure about that?" Asked Finn.
"Yeah, won't the heat in Hotland take a toll on you?" Asked Undyne.
"I can handle the heat, plus I have a cooling system both in BMO and in my Omni Armor to help keep me cool." Said Gata.
"Not to mention I got my awesome magic golden lute. Will cream the competition." Said Jake.
"Well I guess we got that covered." Said Finn.
"We also need to be on the lookout for the Green Knight." Said Fern.
"That's right, your archenemy. Don't worry will help you beat him." Said Finn.
"My advice for whenever you see your archenemy, put him down for good, so he can't bother you or anyone else. That's what I plan to do to my archenemy when I see him next." Said Mack as he finished his drink and walked away.
"Weird guy." Said Jake.
"Wouldn't want to be his archenemy." Said Undyne.
The others nodded and went back to talking and drinking.
Elsewhere King Dice sat in his private office making some deals and planning various nefarious schemes. Toffee and Rasticore were outside the office waiting to meet with King Dice to discuss their plan. Before King Dice's desk were two humanoid cat brothers named Baal and Aym.
Baal had grey fur, red eyes, wore a white and red robe, a black headband, and carried a staff topped with a round ring and seven spikes.
Aym had grey fur, a blind eye with a scar over it, while the other was red, wore a black and red robe with a skull on the collar, a black headband, and carried a staff topped with a cycle that resembled crescent moon.
Baal and Amy were loyal servants and disciples to a god called The One Who Waits, who had been sealed away by the gods Leshy, Heket, Kallamar, Shamura. Those four gods had been involved in the battle with the New Gods and both Leshy and Heket had been killed weakening the seal on prison of The One Who Waits. King Dice specialized in collecting information and making deals with various beings for his own benefit, so he had reached out to Baal and Aym bring them to his office and offering them a deal.
"Now two of your master's enemies are dead and two more remain. Leshy and Heket are dead, but Kallamar and Shamura remain. Now you could try and track them down and kill them yourselves or you could enter a special tournament called the Sibling Showdown and win it to get a wish to free your master. My sources tell me that there's a powerful being involved with the tournament who can easily grant you your wish. So what do you say?" Said King Dice.
Baal and Amy exchanged looks and then they faced King Dice.
"The tournament sounds like a good idea to pursue, but what exactly do you get out of this?" Said Baal.
"Well if you win, you and your master will owe me a favor. If you lose you really don't owe me anything. A lot of people make bets on the tournament and those bets go through my businesses. Regardless of your success in the tournament I'll make a good profit." Said King Dice.
"So it's a win-win situation for you." Said Aym.
"It is and as added bonus I'll send a couple of my guys to assist you in the tournament to better your odds." Said King Dice before snapping his fingers.
There was the sound of thunder and a flash of light as two large demons appeared in the room wearing short pants and had ribbons floating on their chests and behind their backs.
"Allow me to introduce you to the Twin Tempest Demons, Fuki and Raiki." Said King Dice.
Fuki was all blue with a bald head, pointy ears, fangs, a beard, and a big horn on his head. Raiki was all gold with short spiky hair, antlers, fangs, pointy ears, and a beard. Tiny bits of wind swirled around Fuki and lightning crackled around Raiki.
"It seems you have powerful allies and connections." Said Baal.
"I do. Thanks to my boss. Now Fuki and Raiki will aid you and make sure, you're one of the last teams of siblings standing, but the winning will be up to you." Said King Dice.
"With thank you for your assistance." Said Aym before he and his brother left the office followed by the Twin Tempest Demons.
Toffee and Rasticore entered the office next and took a seat before King Dice.
"Thank you for agreeing to see us and for agreeing to let us your facilities to deal with our shared enemies and hinder them on their quest." Said Toffee.
"No problem, just tell me exactly what you need." Said King Dice.
"First show me the current whereabouts of the humans and their allies." Said Toffee.
King Dice pulled out a remote and pressed a button. A wall rose up revealing dozens of tv screens displaying a live video of the casino. King Dice pressed a few buttons and images of the Gravity Falls gang as well as their protectors and allies appeared on the screen. Toffee studied them closely and scowled a little at Samantha, Alcor, Nyx, Ying, Chi, Kai, and Elise. He saw them as possible problems to his plan, so he pulled out his communication crystal and made a quick call to Laser Wizard in Hotland.
"What's up?" Asked Laser Wizard.
"I'm at the Lady Lucktopus casino, fixing to put a plan in motion to greatly hinder the human expedition group and their allies. It could give us a huge advantage and it could result in their demise." Said Toffee.
"I like what I'm hearing, is there some kind of catch?" Said Laser Wizard.
"The one known as Chi and her little friend group have become a bit chummy with the humans and their allies. They could possibly interfere with my plan, so I need you to summon them to Hotland or give them some fake mission or something." Said Toffee.
"Consider it done." Said Laser Wizard.
"Also if you can spare any reinforcements, I would appreciate it." Said Toffee.
"I'll send you some backup." Said Laser Wizard.
"Good." Said Toffee before ending the call.
Toffee glanced at the monitors and then turned back to King Dice.
"I request the use of one of your kitchens and one of your spa facilities." Said Toffee.
"What exactly do you have planned for those?" Asked King Dice.
"I want you to give those heroes a nice spa vacation for putting on a good show at the concert. That'll get them to drop their guard. As for the kitchen I need it to help cook up a special potion." Said Toffee.
"Alright you got it. It's all yours. I'll have one of my guys lead you to the spa and kitchen and I'll send another guy to get those humans to go there." Said King Dice.
"Thank you. I appreciate it." Said Toffee with a polite bow.
King Dice pressed a button summoning a agent that lead Toffee and Rasticore out of the office. He took out a cigar, lite it, and took a big puff as he smirked at the tv monitors. The humans and the heroes were certainly in for some trouble.
Back in the casino, Samantha, Alcor, Nyx, Ying, Chi, Kai, and Elise got a call from Laser Wizard ordering them to go to Hotland and go visit Colosseum of Fools to ask around for any leads on the location of Horror's Hand. The group thought that was a little weird, but didn't think too hard about it. They said some quick goodbyes to the Gravity Falls gang and their allies before heading out of the casino.
Elsewhere in the casino, Jenka approached Rock Wizard, Brain Wiz, Hunter Wizard, Huntress Wizard, and Heckapoo to ask them to do something personal.
"I know you're on a quest to defeat the Shadow Queen and her forces and locate Horror's Hand, but I have a favor to ask of you and your allies." Said Jenka.
"What's that?" Asked Rock Wizard.
"I need you to go to the prison that holds my brother, Ballos and I need you to end him." Said Jenka looking serious.
"Why...do you want that?" Asked Hunter Wizard.
"Killing Ballos is the only surefire to finally destroy the threat of the Demon Crown. That crown has been nothing, but trouble for the Underground and with it gone my daughter, Misery and her friend Balrog will finally be free." Said Jenka.
"Have you tried destroying the crown or locking it up?" Asked Brain Wiz.
"I've tried all that and so did Gaster. The crown just resurrects and repairs itself no matter what is done with it and those with greed and lust for power keep seeking it out and locating it no matter where it is hidden. The current wearer of the Demon Crown, the Doctor is a twisted madman who has made more deadly use of the Demon Crown then any of the previous wearers and to make matters worse he has the red flower seeds, which make him even more dangerous. The crown must be destroyed and the only way to accomplish that is to kill Ballos." Said Jenka looking a little sad.
"Have you tried speaking to Ballos to destroy the Demon Crown?" Asked Huntress Wizard.
"I have, but my brother is too far gone is his madness to be reasoned with. I fear what he might do if he was ever freed from his prison. The best thing that can be done for him at this point is to end him." Said Jenka.
"Alright, will do it." Said Rock Wizard.
"You have my thanks. I would...do it myself, but I don't think I have the magical or emotional strength to do it." Said Jenka looking down at the ground.
"Hey, we understand. It isn't easy seeing a loved one fall into madness. We will help put Bellos's soul to rest." Said Huntress Wizard.
"You have my thanks. Here is a map to the Ballos's prison." Said Jenka as she handed Huntress Wizard a scroll of paper.
"Thank you." Said Huntress Wizard.
A few Agents then arrived and approached the Gravity Falls gang along with their protectors. Finn and the protectors readied their weapons thinking their was about to be a fight on their hands, but one of the Agents raised his hands in a peaceful manner and spoke.
"Congratulations! You have all won a free trip to the spa. You will be given free food, and services, as well as a room to rest in."
"I love free stuff!" Said Mabel.
"What's the catch and why are we being given this?" Asked Wendy.
"The one called Finn and his allies put on one impressive show during the concert that brought in a lot of money. King Dice wants to thank you, by letting you have a free spa treatment." Said the agent.
"Sound a little too good to be true." Said Dipper.
"I say we take it. We've all been through some craziness lately, I say we deserve it." Said Gideon.
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm in agreement with Gideon." Said Stan.
"Is it the end of the world?" Joked Ford.
"Alright will take it. Lead the way." Said Finn.
The Agent nodded and lead the Gravity Falls gang, Finn, Fern, Jake, BMO, Gata, Rain, Rock Wizard, Hunter Wizard, Huntress Wizard, Locke, Sans, Papyrus, Loke, Viper, Undyne, Quote, Loke, the four Wizard Cops, two Eliminator robots, Ser Manuel, Toriel, Jenka, Sheo, Sly, Hornet, Isaac, Baby Depression, and the rescued monster kids to a boat that would take them a short distance to the spa area.
At the kitchen in the spa area, Toffee was at work chopping up and grinding certain amounts of ingredients for his potion as Rasticore and LeChuck watched him. Toffee took careful measurements of his ingredients and mixed them together in a bowl, before spilling them out onto a pan.
"So is this some kind of poison or virus potion you're making?" Asked Rasticore.
"Neither, though I did consider making one of those, but I had to take several things into account." Said Toffee.
"Like what?" Asked Rasticore.
"Age, Weight, and the immune systems and health of our enemies. Some could immediately be killed or proved to be very resistant to poison or viruses, thus putting those not infected on high alert. The potion I'm making will be very affective and strike our enemies in a way they won't see coming." Said Toffee.
"And it will only affect the humans?" Asked Rasticore.
"It should, but we need a small sample of human DNA, which should be easy enough to get. Humans are known to lose small bits of their hair everyday." Said Toffee.
"Should be easy enough to get." Said LeChuck with a grin.
A Agent walked in and informed the villains the guests had arrived.
"Time to meet and greet." Said Toffee as he walked out of the kitchen leaving Rasticore and LeChuck behind.
The Gravity Falls gang and their protectors and allies were gathered outside with another agent as Toffee approached them with a friendly smile on his face.
"Welcome to the Serene Squid Spa. My name is Toffee and I will be your host. Thank you for coming. Please enjoy our facility. Help yourself to free food and drinks, get a massage, and take a nice dip in Fluvius Cantatis our natural hot spring. It has some nice healing properties and monsters love it." Said Toffee.
"We don't have any swimwear." Said Pacifica.
"No worries we have swimwear and changing rooms available for your use." Said Toffee pointing to a small store with clothes and some small buildings for people to change and get dressed in.
With that said the group headed for the shop to find themselves some outfits, before heading to the changing rooms. Toffee just smirked as his plan began to fall into place, but little did anyone know there were a few uninvited guests planning to cause trouble at the spa.
The first was Popple, Croco, Pisci, Cenn, and Pluto back in his base form the surviving members of Resourceful Rat and Astotheles's crew. The little gang of criminals were trying to make some quick cash after the defeat of their leaders and the destruction of the Typhoon. They set their eyes on the Lady Lucktopus, particularly the Serene Squid Spa and thought they could make a good deal amount of cash by stealing the guests' things. Popple and Croco saw it as quick easy cash, though they along with their comrades were very surprised at the sight of some of the people they had fought against and had ruined their bosses' plans. Now the little crew wanted a bit of revenge.
Another group of uninvited guests was the Mad Dummy and his crew. The Mad Dummy had apologized multiple times to his crew telling them he was sorry for losing his temper with them during the attack on Soos and he convinced them they could get a big score and make a name for themselves by robbing the spa.
The last uninvited guest was the assassin underwear Mr. White, who was determined to kill Gata and had brought a few tools and tricks to finish the job.
After several minutes most of the Gravity Falls gang and their allies were already changed into swimwear. Finn was wearing blue swim trunks, Gata was wearing a one piece blue swimsuit, Locke was wearing purple swim trunks, Huntress Wizard was wearing a one piece swimsuit, Hunter Wizard was wearing green swim trunks, Loke was wearing yellow swim trunks, Wendy was wearing a red one piece swim suit, Mabel was wearing a red one piece swimsuit, Pacifica was wearing a one piece pink and purple swimsuit, Gideon was wearing blue swim trunks, Soos was wearing green swim trunks and a brown tank top, Stan was wearing black trunks and a white tank top, Ford was wearing brown swim trunks and a white tank top, Heckapoo was wearing a red bikini, Giffany was wearing pink bikini, Papyrus was wearing red swim trunks and a white tank top, Sans was wearing blue swim trunks and a white tank top, Toriel was wearing a one piece swimsuit, Baby Depression still had a shud diaper and a white tank top, some rescued monster kids wore blue trunks, and Undyne was wearing a black bikini. Rain didn't need to change clothes due to his magic nature.
Phoebe wasn't going swimming due to being a Fire Person, Viper didn't care for swimming, Fern didn't feel like swimming, the four Wizard Cops remained in their uniforms though they did remove their boots, the two Eliminators simply wore tropical shirts and sunglasses, Rock Wizard and Brain Wiz didn't care for swimming, Napstablook just hovered around, Quote, Ser Manuel, Jenka, Sheo, Sly, and Hornet didn't feel like swimming either and just wanted to lounge by the pool, and Isaac just want to play in a nearby sandbox with BMO and some of the other rescued monster kids.
The group took some group photos and were fixing to go enjoy themselves, when Popple and the gang of criminals decided to strike! Pluto smashed his way through one of the changing huts getting everyone's attention!
"Alright everyone this here is a robbery!" Said Popple as the rest of the little gang arrived and spread out.
"Plus revenge!" Said Pluto cracking his knuckles.
"If anyone is going to be causing trouble it's going to be us!" Declared Mad Dummy as he and his crew arrived on the scene the opposite side of Popple and his gang.
"I'll handle this." Said Pacifica as she stepped towards Pluto.
"Bring it on little girl!" Said Pluto.
"Open the gate of the Golden Bull! Taurus!" Said Pacifica as she flashed one of her keys in the air and twisted it.
There was a flash of light and the Celestial Spirit appeared ready to fight.
"Moooooo! No one hurts sexy Pacifica, especially when she's wearing a swimsuit!" Bellowed Taurus before charging at Pluto.
"Bring it cow!" Yelled Pluto as he met the charge and the two buff duds began grappling with each other.
"Attack!" Yelled Mad Dummy to his goons.
"Beat them and lute them!" Yelled Croco to his companions.
The criminals charged forward and the heroes met them. Pisci the beetle tried to attack Soos, Ford, and Stan with a charge, but Giffany got in the way and stopped the attack. The bug criminal tried to push back at Giffany, but the android wouldn't budge.
"I'm sorry, but I will not allow you to hurt these people." Said Giffany before she lifted Pisci into the air and slammed her into the ground hard.
Mabel found herself facing Cenn the butterfly who was armed with his boomerang. The girl pulled out the wand she got for Christmas intending to blast the criminal with energy, but instead only a few bubbles came out.
"Nice." Said Cenn.
"Why don't we try to talk things out or something?" Asked Mabel looking nervous as Cenn prepared to attack her.
Just when Cenn was about to throw his boomerang, he was attacked by a blast of water that knocked him to the ground as Rain up to Mabel's side.
"You ok?" Asked Rain.
"I'm ok...thanks." Said Mabel looking a little disappointed in herself.
Dipper found himself facing both Popple and Croco. The two villains pulled out what appeared to be some tiny bombs and hurled them at Dipper, who conjured up a shield to block the attacks. Dipper then used one of his attack spells and made some tiny stars fall out of the air striking the two criminals and knocking them to the ground.
Soos, Ford, and Stan were doing their best to defend themselves from some dummies and dummy robots as the Mad Dummy prepared to attack them from behind. This time he brought more then one knife to the battle. The Mad Dummy hurled a knife at Soos to get revenge on him, but Wendy armed with her axe stepped in and deflected it to the side with ease.
"Not going to happen pal." Said Wendy.
"I got plenty more knives where that came from!" Declared Mad Dummy as he hurled more knives at Wendy.
Wendy dodged and deflected the knives as she advanced towards Mad Dummy. Mad Dummy kept throwing knife after knife at Wendy, until he ran out of knives and Wendy was only a couple of feet away from him.
"Um..." Said Mad Dummy not liking where things were going for him.
Wendy responded to the Mad Dummy by striking him in the head with the flat side of her axe knocking the Mad Dummy to the ground in a heap. The Mad Dummy tried to get up only to get struck a few more times, before he just gave up.
Taurus and Pluto grappled with each other back and forth as Pacifica cheered the Celestial Spirit on. Eventually Taurus managed to get the upper hand on Pluto and began to overpower him, before he began to spin the criminal around with incredible speed and then he tossed him through the air! Pluto yelled as he flew through the air and then he crashed into the ground near Popple and Croco. Popple and Croco realized things were looking too good for them as they staggered to their feet looking at the fighting around them. The heroes were making quick work of the uninvited guests and it would only be a matter of minutes before they were all defeated and captured.
"Time to go!" Said Popple.
"Will get a easier big score." Said Croco as he and Popple helped Pluto up to his feet and the three of them fled the scene.
The rest of the criminals were soon defeated and captured. Undyne and Quote rounded the enemies up and went to take them to a holding facility in Waterfall, while everyone else went to relax and enjoy themselves.
As all that and the fighting had gone down, Rasticore and LeChuck had snuck out onto the scene dressed as spa workers. The two villains went the wreckage of the changing rooms and managed to find some hairs belonging to Finn and Pacifica to use for Toffee's plan. Rasticore and LeChuck headed back to the kitchen and presented the hairs to Toffee who took them.
"Excellent. This will work perfectly." Said Toffee as he pulled out a jagged black diamond shaped stone with half a green star shaped crystal imbedded in it.
Toffee pointed the stone at the hairs and agreed beam shot out of the stone and struck the hairs. The hairs glowed green and then they just burst into hundred on tiny green glowing snakes that flew towards the potion contents on the pan. The contents glowed briefly before they began to harden and crystallize before cracking into smaller bits that resembled Epsom salt.
"There finally done. Now we just have to put it in the water of the hot spring." Said Toffee as he placed the potion in a bag.
One of the Agents was called forward and ordered to dump the potion into the hot spring and if anyone was to ask just tell them it was Epsom salt. The Agent took the bag and went to do as he was told.
"So how long does it take for your potion to kick in?" Asked Rasticore.
"Oh a little less then a day. Also it will only affect the water for a couple of hours, which should be more then enough time to infect all the humans." Said Toffee.
"You're a clever devil." Said LeChuck with a smirk.
"I am. Sometimes your most deadliest enemy is right under ones nose." Said Toffee with a smirk.
The Agent with the bag reached the hot spring with no trouble and dumped the contents into the water with no one paying him any mind. Other monsters played in the water as Dipper, Stan, Ford, Pacifica, Wendy, Soos, and Loke joined them followed by most of their other friends and allies. Rain took notice of Mabel sitting on a beach chair looking a bit sad.
"What's wrong?" Asked Rain as he went over to Mabel.
"I...just feel useless compared to everyone else in our group." Said Mabel.
"What do you mean?" Asked Rain.
"Well almost everyone else either has magic, skills, or some kind of smarts or skills that are incredibly useful to our quest and I have...nothing." Said Mabel.
"You have skills. You're good at making things and you're good at being a good friend." Said Rain.
"Maybe...but everyone else feels like they contribute more then me. Dipper is learning magic and becoming skilled in it and it was his big brain and studying that brought us here to begin with, Pacifica knows how to use a bow and arrows plus she has the ability to summon those spirits, Wendy has survival skills and can use an axe and other weapons, Ford is supper smart, Stan is smart and tough, and Soos is a handy man. The only person who might be more useless then me is Gideon and that's not saying much." Said Mabel.
"Hey everyone one has their skills and talents, even you. You helped stop Snatcher back in Subcon Forest." Said Rain.
"Yeah, but I was useless in that battle we just had and had to be rescued by you. I thought since I got this wand for Christmas, I would be able to do cool stuff and help people, but I hadn't had much luck with it." Grumbled Mabel.
"Hey I'm sure you'll get better with that wand in time and if doesn't work out, we can find you a new weapon or magic item better suited for you and then you can show everyone what you're made of." Said Rain.
"You really think so." Said Mabel.
"I know so, so let's go have some fun and enjoy ourselves." Said Rain.
"Ok." Said Mabel.
The two of them got into the water together.
All the humans expect for Finn were in the hot spring. Toffee sat in a monitor room, with Rasticore and LeChuck as they looked at some video monitors showing them the spa. Finn was hanging with Phoebe by the pool and hadn't gotten in yet. This annoyed Toffee a bit and he was considering ordering Rasticore or one of the agents to go out there and knock Finn into the pool, when Jake called out to him.
"Come on in bro. This water is great!" Said Jake.
Finn looked over at Phoebe who just smiled and nodded saying it was ok for him to get into the water and that she would be fine. The young man headed to the water and was fixing to get in, when there was a loud commotion from the sandbox that got everyone's attention. A shiny humanoid creature that appeared to be made out of molten glass stood over BMO and the monster kids. The strange creature had a teardrop shaped head, blank white eyes, long fangs that stuck out of it's mouth, and sharp stinger-like points that serve red as it's hand and feet. The monster kids ran away and BMO tried to follow them, but the strange creature turned it's right hand into a fiver fingered claw and grabbed BMO before it took off running.
"BMO!" Yelled Gata and Jake.
Jake got out of the hot spring grabbing and tossing Gata onto his back and they took off after the creature. Finn, Fern, and Phoebe took off running after them and Toffee cursed a little under his breath at this interruption to his plan.
The heroes chased the creature and BMO away from the hot spring and to the far side of the spa. After several minutes of running the creature stopped and faced it's pursuers. Finn and the others faced the creature as five more creatures of the same species stepped out of the shadows and stood alongside the first, along with Mr. White.
"Mr. White!" Said Gata recognizing the assassin.
"Hello again Gata, this will be our last little encounter, because this time I'm going to kill you." Said Mr. White.
"In your dreams creep." Said Jake.
"So who are your friends here? Too scared to fight us yourself?" Asked Finn.
"These are Glassassins, magically constructed creatures of dark magic designed for assassinations and fighting. I normally don't use creatures like these, but Gata has proven herself to be a tough target to deal with, so I decided to pull them out." Said Mr. White.
"It'll take more then your little pets to deal with us." Said Phoebe.
"I know, so I brought another special weapon to help me, it's why I kidnapped your little robot friend." Said Mr. White as he produced a black game cartridge with the words 'Master Computer' on it.
Mr. White smirked as he put the game cartridge into BMO. BMO's eyes went wide before his screen went blank and then it was replaced by red face with yellow eyes, red nose, and red rips. The Glassassin holding BMO released him and the little robot stood beside Mr. White.
"I am Master Computer! I am your doom!" Declared BMO in a voice that wasn't his.
"Um...what's going on?" Asked Fern.
"The game cartridge I put into your robot contained a powerful evil being named Master Computer that I made a deal with. I give him a proper body and he helps me destroy all of you." Said Mr. White.
"Release him!" Ordered Gata as she activated her Omni Armor.
"I think not. I already like this body and it's multiple functions. Functions I will use to destroy you!" Said Master Computer as BMO's body began to change into it's mech form.
"Oh crud!" Said Jake in dismay.
Master Computer laughed as he pointed a hand at the heroes and fired a laser at them forcing them all to jump out of the way. The three of the Glassassins hissed as they jumped in and began to swing their sharp limbs at Finn, Fern, and Phoebe. Fern and Phoebe were able to construct swords out of grass and fire to block the Glassassins' blows, but Finn was unarmed and forced to dodge and use his bare hands to fight. Jake and Gata ran at Master Computer, who tried to stomp on them and just barely missed the two heroes. The dog used his stretching powers to wrap himself around Master Computer in a attempt to restrain him as Gata climbed onto the robot trying to eject the game out of BMO, but Master Computer broke free and knocked the two heroes away.
"Nice try, but you're not going to win this! Looks like you made your robot buddy a little too strong!" Laughed Mr. White.
"Then will just take you down and force you to stop him." Said Gata turning to Mr. White and the other three Glassassins.
"Easier said then done. Glassassins merge!" Said Mr. White.
The three Glassassins got close together and began to merge into a single large form. The new form was a much larger Glassassin with three heads and six arms. Mr. White whistled at the big Glassassin and the creature turned two of it's hands into fingered hands and slipped Mr. White onto it's lower regions. The Glassassin faced Jake and Gata and it was now wearing Mr. White who was in control of the creature.
"I told you that this wasn't going to easy and that this time I would kill you!" Declared Mr. White before he lunged forward striking out with six sharp pointy arms.
Gata quickly brought up a energy shield to protect herself as the arms slammed into it and sent her flying back into a wall.
"Gata!" Yelled Jake before he enlarged his fist and swung it at Mr. White.
The assassin just smirked as his new body twisted out of the way of the attack. Jake swung his other arm and created other arms out of his belly and chest skin that launched themselves at Mr. White. Mr. White smirked as holes appeared in some parts of his body allowing the fists to go through it harmless, before he closed down on them painfully and he made spikes appear on other parts of his body, where fists collided with them making Jake cry out in both pain and surprise.
"Had enough?" Asked Mr. White.
"Not yet!" Yelled Jake as he punched directly at Mr. White himself instead of the Glassassin body.
The blow struck Mr. White and the Glassassin stumbled back a little releasing Jake. Jake smirked a little, but the smirk vanished as he saw that Mr. White didn't look too seriously hurt or phased by the punch.
"Not bad. Now it's my turn!" Said Mr. White as he turned the six Glassassin's hands into normal fists before he began to pound on Jake battering and bruising the dog.
Mr. White threw a nasty punch at Jake only for a portal to suddenly appear in front of it. The fist went through the portal and struck Mr. White sending him reeling back. Before Mr. White could recover a laser blast struck him sending him rolling across the ground. The assassin scrambled to his feet as Gata charged at him and tried to attack him, but one of Mr. White's arms shot out and grabbed her by the throat.
"You really are proving to be very annoying." Said Mr. White.
"Apologize Mr. White, she got past me with her portals." Said Master Computer.
"That's quite alright. I think I just figured out a lovely way to end our little game. I'm going to toss her into the air and you're going to blast her into nothingness." Said Mr. White with a cruel smile.
Gata's eyes went wide as she was tossed into the air and Master Computer fired a laser blast right at her! There was a flash of light and there was nothing of Gata!
"GATA!" Cried Finn and Jake at the sight of their sister seemly getting destroyed.
"It's finally done!" Laughed Mr. White.
Finn activated his Olympian Power and punched the Glassassin he was fighting in the head ripping it right off! The angry demigod was fixing to race at and attack Mr. White, but the headless Glassassin leaped onto and wrapped his body around the hero attempting to squeeze him to death. Finn gritted his teeth as he fought against the squeeze and then he flexed out as hard as he could making the Glassassin's body explode into bits!
"I'm going to end you and your employer!" Yelled Finn as he rushed at Mr. White.
Mr. White smirked as he swung his six limbs at Finn. Finn dodged the blows and punched Mr. White in the face knocking the assassin back. Mr. White swung his six arms at Finn again turning the hands into fists and Finn countered them with his fists. There were some loud cracks as the Glassassin's six arms shattered to bits and Finn tried to rush at Mr. White, only to get backhanded by Master Computer. Master Computer stomped towards Finn as the Glassassin's arms reformed.
"You know I was just going to simply leave after killing your sister, but then I realized I could really make a big name for myself if I killed the great hero Finn and some other recognized big name heroes. I would be a legend in the criminal underworld." Said Mr. White with a twisted grin as he joined Master Computer's side.
Before the assassin or the evil video game could attack, Jake pulled out his golden lute and strummed it hard sending a blast of magical notes that slammed into the two villains knocking them back. Cracks appeared on the Glassassin's body and the screen on the mech flickered a bit from the attack. Finn got up and faced the two villains alongside Jake. The two brothers looked at each other, nodded, and charged into battle.
Phoebe had witnessed Gata get blasted and she decided she needed to turn up the heat and help her boyfriend and Jake. The Flame Princess focused as she made her flame sword burn with blue flames. The Glassassin she was fighting took a startled step back before it let out a angry hiss before swinging it's limbs at Phoebe. Phoebe swung her sword and cut through the limbs like a hot knife through butter. The Glassassin stumbled back in shock and tried to recall it's missing limbs to reattach themselves, but Phoebe raced forward and stabbed her right into the Glassassin's chest!
"Time for you to cool down!" Said Phoebe before she began drawing all the heat out of the Glassassin's body.
The Glassassin screamed in dismay as it's body began to cool down and harden rabidly becoming very fragile in the process. Phoebe removed her hand from the Glassassin, before she punched the creature hard and it shattered to bits! The Flame Princess looked at the remains of the Glassassin and watched as a shadowy mist rose from it's remains and vanished. It was the dark magic that had animated the Glassassin.
Fern was challenging his own Olympian Power as he fought a Glassassin that was soon joined by the reformed Glassassin that Finn had dealt with before going after Mr. White. The two Glassassin's hissed at Fern as they tried to double team him. Fern held his own and managed to slice through the Glassassins' limbs, but they quickly repaired the damage and inflected some damage of their own on Fern, but his own regeneration kicked in and he healed up.
"Looks like we're at a stalemate with these guys. Your regeneration is better, but we're dealing with two enemies. They must have a weakness we could exploit." Said Grass Demon within Fern's mind.
"I'm working on it." Thought Fern.
Phoebe then appeared behind one of the Glassassin's and used the technique she had used to defeat her opponent. She stabbed her hand into the Glassassin and sucked all the heat out of him making the creature fragile, before she shattered it to bits. The other Glassassin saw this and tried to retreat, but Fern stretched his arms out and wrapped him up, allowing Phoebe to get at him to take away his heat and shattered him as well. Dark shadowy mist rose from the remains of the Glassassins.
"Thanks for that." Said Fern.
"No problem. Now let's go help Finn and Jake." Said Phoebe.
The two of them ran to aid Finn and Jake.
Jake was dodging stomps and punches from Master Computer as he fired blast of magical musical energy at the big robot and Finn was dodging punches from Mr. White. Phoebe struck Master Computer that made the robot reel back and Fern ran in and kicked Mr. White in the side knocking him away from Finn.
"It's over Mr. White! You can't beat all of us!" Said Finn.
"I still have your robot friend under my command and he can disintegrate you all into nothing!" Declared Mr. White.
Master Computer raised his arms and it looked like he was going to fire some lasers at the heroes, but then his screen flickered a bit and a look of shock and confusion appeared on his face.
"What? How can you still believe and in the mainframe?" Demanded Master Computer.
"What are you talking about?" Asked Mr. White.
"Gata is alive and somehow in the mainframe of this robot." Said Master Computer.
"Gata's alive?" Asked Finn.
"How is that possible?! We saw you blast her into nothing!" Said Mr. White looking angry.
"I was in 95% control of this unit, when I blasted Gata, somehow BMO managed to set the settings on the laser to digitize instead of disintegration and he sent Gata into his mainframe to battle and remove me from the system." Said Master Computer.
"Why to go BMO!" Cheered Jake.
"Well delete her or whatever and help me destroy these chumps!" Ordered Mr. White.
"It shall be done." Said Master Computer before stomping towards Finn and the others to fight.
Inside BMO's mainframe Gata had woken to see she was still alive and it a strange location. BMO's mainframe resembled Ooo and as Gata looked around a tiny version of BMO with fairy wings flew up to her.
"Gata, I saved you by setting the laser to digitize and sent you into my mainframe to get at Master Computer." Said BMO.
"Good job BMO now lead we to where Master Computer is and I'll deal with him." Said Gata.
The tiny BMO lead Gata deeper into the digital world to a large red glowing light that appeared to be in the center of the mainframe. Some large red spiders tried to attack the duo, but Gata blasted them to bits. Soon the heroes reached the light and came face-to-face with Master Computer. Master Computer was a large tower with his face on it as he glared down at Gata and BMO.
"You managed to survive. I must admit you took my by surprise, but it's game over for you now." Said Master Computer.
"Sorry, but I don't play by your rules, now get out of BMO." Said Gata.
"Never!" Said Master Computer as he summoned some giant floating red eyes that began shooting lasers at Gata and BMO.
Gata dodged the shots and fired back at the eyes destroying, but Master Computer merely summoned some to fight. She realized that destroying the eyes weren't going to get her anywhere, so Gata focused on dodging and firing a few shots at Master Computer taking one chunk after another at the tower weakening Master Computer's hold on BMO. Master Computer became angry as he summoned some red spiders to attack Gata as well. Gata shot at the spiders as they rushed at her, but there was just too many.
"What are we going to do?" Asked BMO as the spiders and eyes closed in.
"Time for a cheat code." Said Gata as she grabbed BMO and began to push a series of buttons on him.
"I feel tingly." Said BMO before he began to glow.
BMO then began to grow and change. A massive muscular humanoid body sprouted out beneath his console body and his console body now severed as his head for the new form.
"I'm a big boy now!" Said BMO as he began to use his new size to smash the spiders and eyes clearing the way for Gata to go after Master Computer.
Gata began firing at Master Computer weakening his hold some more on BMO and taking more chunks out of the tower, until it finally fell to it's side.
"Nooooo!" Screamed Master Computer as he fell to the ground.
"Game over Master Computer." Said Gata as she fired one last shot into Master Computer's face making the video game villain vanish along with the eyes and spiders.
"We did it!" Cheered BMO.
"Let's see how this turns the tables." Said Gata.
In the real world Master Computer's face vanished from BMO's screen as the game cartridge was ejected from the mech and clattered to the ground. BMO's face appeared on the screen as he stopped fighting Jake and Phoebe and stomped towards Mr. White. The assassin turned from fighting Finn and Fern just in time to see BMO raise a giant foot and stomp on him!
"Yeah BMO is back on our side! Gata free him!" Cheered Finn as BMO removed his foot from Mr. White.
BMO pointed his laser at the ground near Mr. White and fired. There was a flash of light and Gata appeared standing before the others. Gata gave her brothers and friends a thumbs up before she walked over to the dazed form of Mr. White as his Glassassin was repairing itself.
"It's over Mr. White. Tell me who sent you and I'll let you live." Said Gata.
"Never! I will kill you!" Said Mr. White with rage as one of the Glassassin's arms reformed and he stabbed at Gata with it.
Gata dodged the attack and touched the limb making magical symbols appear along it and spread to the rest of the Glassassin's body.
"What's going on?! I can't move this body!" Said Mr. White.
"Your Glassassin's are created and formed by shaping magic. I started learning to use that kind of magic and I took what I know to basically hack the Glassassin body you're using. I was a little dazed when you grabbed me earlier so I couldn't try using my magic on you, but now the tables have turned. Think of it as payback for what you did to BMO. Now tell me who hired you." Said Gata.
Mr. White glared up at Gata with a mix of anger and fear. He was completely helpless and had no more means of attacking. Mr. White had failed in his job and he couldn't allow his target to learn the identity of his employer. There was only one option left for the assassin. Mr. White moved his mouth around and dislodged a special red capsule in the upper ridges of his mouth and bit into it hard feeling a great deal of heat go through his body.
"What the?!" Cried Gata in surprise as Mr. White suddenly burst into flames!
"My incendiary spell! You may have beaten me, but you won't learn the name of my employer from me! I'll take that information to my grave! I may be dead, but more trouble will head your way Gata!" Yelled Mr. White before he was completely burned away leaving nothing, but ashes behind.
The Glassassin collapsed into a heap of glass after Mr. White died and dark shadowy mist rose from the remains. Gata glared down at the remains with a few angry tears in her eyes before kicking the glass and ash in anger.
"Dang it! We were so close in getting the name of the guy responsible for sending Mr. White after me in the first place!" Cursed Gata.
"Hey sis, it's ok. Will figure it." Said Finn walking over to Gata and putting a hand on her shoulder.
"It's not ok. Whoever sent Mr. White after us will probably send another assassin or something crazy after me and you'll all be in danger!" Said Gata.
"Then will just deal with them and whatever else they throw at us, until we find out whose responsible." Said Jake walking over and putting a hand on Gata's other shoulder.
"But I don't want to put any of you in danger." Said Gata.
"Sis we deal with all kinds of dangerous things. This is no different. Plus you're family, so we're going to protect you no matter what." Said Finn giving Gata a reassuring smile.
"Thanks you guys." Said Gata as she hugged her brothers.
"Plus you got me and a ton of other people who are willing to protect you." Said Phoebe.
"I shall protect you as well." Said Fern.
"Aaa. You guys are the best." Said Gata with a smile.
"Let's go back to enjoying ourselves." Said BMO as he changed back into his normal form.
With that said the group headed back to the hot spring.
In the monitor room Toffee, Rasticore, and LeChuck had watched the battle with Mr. White and we're now watching the heroes reunite with the others members of their group telling them about the battle. Toffee looked over at a nearby clock and cursed silently to himself as Finn got into the hot spring. The potion had just about worn out before Finn had gotten into the water, meaning he was going to be unaffected by Toffee's plan. That assassin had ruined that part of Toffee's carefully laid out plan. Toffee took a deep breath and calmed down. It was a setback, but not a complete failure. The rest of the humans had been affected and it was only a matter of time before the potion kicked in, then Toffee and his allies would make their move.
Gata handed Brain Wiz the Master Computer video game cartridge and a little bag containing a sample from the remains of the defeated Glassassins. She told the wizard along with Rock Wizard, Heckapoo, Hunter Wizard, and Huntress Wizard about the attack and how well armed Mr. White was with magical items and wondered if they could use their own magic and skills to figure out who hired Mr. White. Brain Wiz told Gata they would look into it after Horror's Hand was retrieved.
Later on the explorers and their allies got dressed in their normal attire and went to enjoy a buffet. Wendy was feeling particularly hungry as she helped herself to a large amount of assorted meat. She chosen down with gusto and enjoyed herself, Dipper helped himself to a large salad with lots of veggies, Mabel enjoyed some seafood and a lot of water, Gideon had some meat that was a bit rare and a bit bloody, and Pacifica enjoyed some eggs, fish, and snails. It seemed like a normal meal, but little did the humans of Gravity Falls know was that Toffee's potion was affecting them.
Undyne and Quote returned to the spa as a Agent showed the groups to the free rooms. The groups separated and went to separate rooms to prepare for bed. As they prepared for bed Ford and Stan noticed some odd pain and aches in the upper parts of their back, Gideon and Wendy felt some odd pains in their mouths and wondered if they should go see a dentist, Mabel felt dry and kept having to get herself a glass of water, Soos felt a little sluggish and wobbly, Dipper felt like he had a headache, and Pacifica had some dry flaky skin, she fixed with some lotion. The Gravity Falls gang eventually went to sleep thinking nothing of these feelings.
During that night the reinforcements sent by the Gunslinger Lich arrived at the spa and they consisted of the wizard students Koba and Angelica and Dominant Elise. It wasn't much, but Toffee would make do with these three warriors.
When morning came Toffee decided to put his plan into action and thin the heroes' heard a little by working on causing some distractions. The first to have some of LeChuck's crew set a fire on a medium size boat and send it out to open water before sending a anonymous call to Undyne and the Royal Guards with her to check out saying their was a child trapped on it. Undyne, Quote, and Viper went to investigate the boat leaving Loke behind with the others, since he was feeling a little weak and tired. Then Toffee had Angelica use her Celestial Spirit, Gemini to change into him, before approaching Toriel, Jenka, Sheo, Sly, Isaac, Hornet, Baby Depression, and the rescued monster kids and offer to lead the little group on a private tour away from the others. With those groups out of the way Toffee and his allies focused on those that remained.
The Gravity Falls gang and their remaining guides and protectors had just finished packing and headed to the mainland to start making their way to the Hotland entrance where they would wait for their allies to reunite with them. Everything was going well and the group was in high spirits, when suddenly Mabel let out a dry gasp and fell flat on her face!
"Mabel!" Cried Dipper as he ran to his sister's side.
"I...can't...breath...! I'm...so thirsty!" Gasped Mabel in a dry raspy voice.
"What's going on with her?" Asked Stan with concern.
"I'm...not sure." Said Ford.
Dipper poured some water into Mabel's mouth to try and help her, but it only seemed to help her a little bit.
"I think we need to get Mabel into some water." Said Rain.
"Alright, help me stand her up." Said Dipper.
Dipper grabbed Mabel's right side and Rain grabbed her left side. They stood her up and tried to walk her over to the water, but Mabel's legs didn't seem to be working and she fell onto her face again. Dipper and Rain tried to help her up again, but as they did that they noticed something strange about Mabel's legs. They seemed to have sprouted some pink scales and they appeared to be merging together!
"What the heck?!" Said Dipper before his legs suddenly went out on him and he laid on the ground groaning in pain clutching his head in pain.
Everyone watched in shock as tiny antlers began to sprout from Dipper's head and his legs began to sprout brown fur and merge together.
"Kids!" Screamed both Ford and Stan in concern before they suddenly dropped to their hands and knees gasping in pain.
Ford's skin turned began to change colors and sprout brown yellowish hair, a lion tail, and a pair of large feathery wings burst from his back. Stan's skin became grey and rocky as he sprouted some short horns, and a pair of large bat-like wings emerged from his back.
"I don't feel so good!" Said Soos as his skin turned into a mix of brown and grey and it looked wet and sloppy clay.
"This is messed up!" Said Jake.
Mabel's legs had merged together to form a mermaid tail and she had grown some gills and fins on the sides of her head. Dipper's legs had merged together and had shaped themselves into a deer body with four legs and a fluffy little tail!
"What is happening to us?!" Cried Wendy in pain and confusion as she began to sprout red fur around her body.
Wendy's face became a tiny bit longer with a little black canine nose, she grew fangs, a pair of wolf ears, claws, and a wolf tail!
"This is a nightmare! It has to be!" Cried Pacifica before her legs stopped working and she fell to her face as well.
Pacifica's legs began to merge together becoming a large snake tail with yellow scales. Her hair went through a rapid and crazy transformation as it turned from normal hair to a mess of yellow snakes, which made Pacifica scream loudly in fear and shock, as she tired to first pull the snakes off her head, but they seemed to be attached to her and then she tried to crawl away, but didn't have much luck moving with her new snake body.
"Well at least I appear to be fine." Said Gideon before he let out a gasp of pain as his skin became very pale and he sprouted a pair of fangs.
Gideon looked down at his now pale hands in shock.
"I spoke too soon!" Said Gideon.
In just a matter of minutes Mabel had changed into a mermaid, Dipper had changed into a cervitaur (deer centaur), Ford had turned into a Greek Sphinx, Stan had changed into a gargoyle, Soos had changed into a clay golem, Wendy had changed into a werewolf, Pacifica had changed into a gorgon, and Gideon had changed into a vampire! The humans of Gravity Falls had all become monsters!
"What just happened?!" Asked Finn.
"It...appears that the humans in our group have undergone some radical transformation." Said Brain Wiz.
"But...how come Loke and Finn didn't change?" Asked Gideon as he cast a scowl at the two.
"I don't know. There could be a number of reasons." Said Brain Wiz as he scratched his chin in thought.
"Let's get Mabel into the water. It looks like she really needs it." Said Rain.
Fern went to help Rain pick Mabel up and move her to the water, when there was a loud whistling sound in the air. A few seconds later dozens of cannon balls slammed into the area near the Gravity Falls gang and their allies and exploded loudly knocking everyone to the ground and creating a wall of flames that surrounded them. As Finn and the others got up they saw a large pirate ship approaching them from the water. Numerous demons, ghosts, skeletons, and zombies appeared on the deck of the ship ready for war along with Toffee, Rasticore, LeChuck, Koba, Angelica, and Dominant Elise all ready to fight.
Toffee looked through a spyglass at the heroes and the transformed humans and smiled. All was going according to plan. Now it was time to shed some blood and did the master of some of his enemies.
