My Incredible Academia Chapter 10: Aftermath & A New Adventure

Back in Japan in the UA school board room, the UA teachers along with some of Japan's Pro Heroes consisting of Endeavor, Hawks, Best Jeanist, Mirko, Ryuku, Edgeshot, Kamui Woods, Gang Orca, and Mt. Lady are watching the Metroville news broadcast that's covering the aftermath of 1A, the Parrs, and Frozone's battle with the Ominidroid and High End Nomu. At the same time, Nezu is talking with Aizawa on the phone who's debriefing him on everything that has happen since their hijack to Syndrome's Island. While watching the news, the UA teachers and Pros were relieved of the other's safety and proud of the great work they did in the States, though one who is even more prouder was Japan's former number one.

'Bob, Helen, you two are still great heroes like in old days and your kids are just as incredible. And as for you young Midoriya, you've come a long way since I choose you as my successor and now, the entire US and the rest world have seen that you are here.' thought All Might with a smile on his face.

"Well, it looks like the situation in the States has been handled seamlessly." stated Best Jeanist.

"And just when I got the clearance to go there to assist my son and the others." Endeavor scoffed.

"Tell me about it, I was ready to beat to shit out that giant robot and Nomu." said Mirko, propping legs up on the table in frustration.

"I doubt even you could beat them by yourself Mirko." Quipped Hawks.

"Oh yeah?! Well how about I fight you instead?!" shouted Mirko.

"You'll have to catch me first." Hawks teased as he got his wings ready to fly away.

"Can you two please calm down and let's just be happy that Shota and his students were able to save the city and get out of it alive." said Ryuku as she tried to settle the two feisty pros.

"While I admit that Aizawa and his class did do a good job, it's not like they did it all by themselves." stated Vlad King.

"That's true, they were aided by three Supers who I thought I would never see in action again along with two young Supers as well." said Edgeshot.

"That's another thing that sucks about us not going to the States, is that I didn't get to meet America's former number one hero!" whine Mt. Lady.

"That's your biggest concern?" said Kamui Woods.

"Duh! Even though it's been 15 years, Mr. Incredible still has that amazing bod like All Might did before his retirement." said Mt. Lady with lovey dove eyes.

Everyone stares at Mt. Lady with a deadpan look until Midnight said.

"You're right, Mt. Lady. Mr. Incredible has definitely kept up his physique that any lady including yours truly would love get their hands all over." she said with a giddy smile.

Before things got too R rated between the two female Pros, All Might spoke up.

"I hate to be the bearer of bad news ladies, but Mr. Incredible is married." he stated.

"WHAT!?" screamed Midnight and Mt. Lady feeling their fantasies shatter.

"It's true, back when I was doing hero work abroad in America before the quirk prohibition, Mr. Incredible and I became good friends both as heroes and civilian. After one of our hero missions, he invited me to his wedding with Elastigirl. A few years later, they even visited me in Japan where I got to meet their two kids, who are in fact the same ones you saw aiding my students." said All Might.

"NOOOO, why are the good-looking guys always taken?!" cried Mt. Lady with tears in her eyes.

"Ahem, back on topic" said Gang Orca "It's really impressive how well those Supers and class 1A worked together to handle that crisis."

"Indeed, hopefully this will convince the American government to lift their quirk ban on its people so that they can better handle situations like this in the future." said Cementoss.

"That all depends on if the project Mr. Nezu and Mr. Deavor came up with is a success." Added Ectoplasm.

As the UA teachers and Pro Heroes continued to talk amongst themselves, Nezu was finishing his phone call with Aizawa, "Alright Shota, I'll inform everyone here of what has happened and call me back once you're done with your meeting with Mr. Deavor."

"Yes, Sir." said Aizawa on the other end of the phone.

"Good luck." said Nezu before hanging up the phone.

"How is everyone doing in the States, Sir?" ask Power Loader.

"They're doing quite well Higari." stated Nezu "Aizawa and class 1A sustained only minimal damage during the fight in Metroville and are heading to DEVTECH as we speak along with Mr. Incredible and his family. Not only that, Aizawa also informed me of the true mastermind who started this chain of events."

"It wasn't the League of Villains?" asked Snipe.

"Not entirely, they were working together with a man called Syndrome." stated Nezu.

"Wait, you mean that American Super who failed to stop the robot was the one behind all of this?" asked Present Mic.

"That and among other things I'm afraid." said Nezu.

Over the next few minutes Nezu revealed to the other everything about who Syndrome was and his diabolical plan that Aizawa informed him of. From being a quirkless human who wanted to be Mr. Incredible's sidekick with his gadgets, Mr. Incredible's rejection leading him to use his inventions for villainy, being one responsible for kidnapping and killing the missing Supers including The Stone Hero Mortar with his past Ominidroids, teaming up with the LOV to kidnap 1A in to be the Ominidroid's next victim or to do live experiments on them for their quirks, and sending the Ominidroid to attach Metroville so that he can stop it and be seen as a hero as well as to sell his high tech weapons to everyone in the world in the attempt of make hero society obsolete.

Needless to say, the heroes were shocked at the horrors this one man has committed for over a decade which was all part of something far worse.

"Dear God." said Gang Orca aghast.

"I can't believe this villain would do something so sinful." Murmured Best Jeanist.

"A quirkless villain at that." Cementoss mentioned.

"I always knew Buddy was a little eccentric with him being one of Mr. Incredible's biggest fans and so determined to being his sidekick." said All Might "But for him to become such a vile villain like that?"

"Sometimes in life, it just takes one bad day to turn a good-hearted person into a heartless husk of their former self." said Edgeshot

"To hell with his bad day!" screamed Endeavor "that villain murdered so many American heroes including one of our own! Not mention he tried to do the same thing to my son and his friends! I should go to the States right now, hunt Syndrome down, and burn him to ashes!" as flames started coming from his shoulders.

"Yeah! I want a piece of this jackass too!" Mirko loudly suggested.

"Mind if I join in the hunt?" ask Hawks with a serious look in his eyes, thinking about how his own intern had been targeted by this villain also.

"That won't be necessary, you three, seeing how Syndrome is already dead." stated Nezu.

"WHAT!?" screamed Endeavor, Mirko, and Hawks.

"While on their way to DEVTECH, Aizawa and the students spotted Syndrome trying to kidnap the Parrs' infant son." said Nezu making the heroes gasp. "Fortunately they were able to save the baby and before Syndrome could escape in his jet, Mr. Incredible threw his car at it causing it to explode, thus ending Syndrome's villain career. Permanently."

The teachers and pros were surprised that the former number one American hero had killed Syndrome. Sure, they'd heard and seen cases when a hero did kill a villain (several of them had done it themselves), but that was usually during the heat of a tense battle, a last resort or by some unforeseen accident.

"Well, Bob was always the type of hero who'd go to extremes to take down a villain." stated All Might.

Everyone looked at All Might and collectively thought 'You're one to talk.'

"Still, even with the threat of Syndrome gone, there are two situations that we need to deal with." said Nezu

"What are they, Sir?" asked Ryuku

"One, the League of Villains." stated Nezu. "The news stated eyewitnesses saw the League claiming to be the masterminds for both the Omnidroid and High End Nomu attack. With Syndrome's original plan failing, they took credit for the destruction in order to be seen as fierce villain and are most likely staying at a secret base somewhere in America".

"Makes sense. With the quirk ban in America, they don't have to worry about facing any heroes and can easily dispatch any law enforcement or even the military." clarified Best Jeanist grimly.

"Exactly" said Nezu as he turns towards Endeavor "which is why Endeavor, you and your team along with some of the staff from UA will still go to America to apprehend the League and stop what ever plans they have."

"Consider it done, Nezu" said Endeavor.

"And the second situation sir?" asked All Might.

"We must plan a funeral for the heroes that Syndrome killed." Nezu said solemnly.

Back in America, the Parrs while still wearing their hero outfits are traveling with 1A to DEVTECH on the bus with whatever of their possessions that wasn't destroyed in the explosion including Bob's 'New Life' lockbox. During the nighttime bus ride, Aizawa tells the Parrs that the reason he and his class are in America is to complete a special project that Principle Nezu and Winston Deavor came up with. Once the Parrs learned of the project, they are all surprise and excited about it.

"Yeah Baby! The Quirk Prohibition and Superhero Relocation Program will be no more!" Bob shouted excitedly.

"Bob, I just got Jack-Jack to go to sleep" whispers Helen who's holding the baby while sitting next to Bob.

"Sorry, Helen." Bob replied. "But how can I not be excited? You, me and the kids get to be heroes and use our quirks again."

"Don't get too ahead of yourself Mr. Incredible. That'll only happen if my students succeed in the project." stated Aizawa as he drives the bus.

"Oh come on, Shota" said Bob "After seeing what these kids did on the island and the city; they got this project in the bag".

"Gosh, to be complimented by America's former number one is such an honor." said Momo who was sitting next to Shoto.

"He's not wrong, we were pretty badass." stated Kaminari who's sitting next to Mineta.

"Damn right we were." said Mineta as the two high-fived.

"Plus, with everyone in the US seeing us save Metroville, it should give us the edge in completing the project." Added Sero.

"Indeed, and should we be successful, then the Supers who were force into retirement can go back to their hero work, and hero schools across America will be open again to help teach the next generation of Supers." said Iida.

"You hear that Dash and Violet? You two will get to learn to be awesome heroes like us!" said Kirishima, sitting next to Mina

"Not that you two weren't already awesome heroes especially from what we say." she praised.

"Wow, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually looking forward to going to school in my country, yeehaw!" Dash shouted excitedly as he ran all over the bus causing the 1A to laugh at his antics while annoying Bakugou.

"This is amazing. I never thought I'd get to be a legitimate hero like my parents." said Violet with a hopeful smile forming on her face

"Hey, you were always a hero Violet, ever since we first met all those years ago back in Japan." stated Izuku who's sitting across from her.

"Hey Invisi-bestie, what's going to be your hero name?" asked Toru who's sitting in in front of Violet.

"Hero name?" questioned Violet.

"Yeah, if you're going to be a hero you're going to have to come up with a hero name that everyone will recognise once you go Pro." said Kyoka.

"Oh jeez, I never thought of one. I mean with the prohibition, I never thought I'd get to be a hero, let alone come up with my own hero name." said Violet.

"Don't worry Violet, we can help you come up with one, ribbit" offered Tsu who's sitting behind her.

"I'm sure you'll find a hero name that perfectly compliments your amazing quirk." Encouraged Ochako.

Having the support from both her old friend and new friends was filling Violet with happiness that she never thought she would have in her life. If the joy she was feeling was sentient, it would probably be having blowout party in her mind right now (which she is, along with her other emotions; Anxiety was enjoying a much needed break).

Dash ran back to sit with his sister before he asked his mother, "Hey Mom, aren't you excited that you and Dad get be Pro heroes again?"

"Yes, sweetie, I am." she said, but with what sounded like a worried tone.

"You don't sound very excited." Tokoyami noticed.

"Honey, is something wrong?" asked Bob.

"I'm not so sure about this project." Helen stated

1A looked at Helen in disbelief from her statement

"You don't think we can do it?" asked Sato.

"No, far from it, it's just that this project is asking so much from all of you kids." said Helen.

"What do you mean by that, Mrs. Parr?" Enquired Shoto.

"Your school principal and Mr. Deavor, want you kids to help convince the entire USA to repeal The Quirk Prohibition and Superhero Relocation Program that's been around for 15 years." stated Helen.

"Duh, that's the whole point of this damn project." Bakugou iterated. "To get rid of those dumbass programs."

Helen still not used to Bakugou's bad attitude, continued with her opinion "Look, while I admit that the program is unfair to many quirk users in America, there were some benefits that came from it. Once word about this project goes public, there'll be those who don't want to see it removed and will blame you kids for trying to end their way of life. I know what you're all doing is noble, I just don't what you to have face the protests that will result from it."

After what Helen said, the students all thought about the hardship that may likely come from the project. Knowing that some Americans prefer the life they have now, chances are they will hate them for trying to get the country back to hero society, however.

"Meddling when you aren't asked to is the essence of being hero." said Izuku as everyone stared at him.

"I'm sure there are plenty of people in America who are content with the way things are since the quirk ban, but what about the people who aren't?" asked Izuku "the Supers who dedicated their lives as heroes; young quirk users who dreamt of becoming Supers; and the average citizen who enjoyed seeing their favourite Super in action" he said "To have an important part of their lives taken away so quickly must hurt them more than anything."

After what Izuku said, the students began to wonder what their lives would be like if they'd lived in America with the quirk ban.

"He's right." Shoji spoke up. "As bad as it's been for the Parrs, I can't even begin to imagine how much worse it's been for heteromorphs. Unlike our friends here, they can't hide their quirks."

"That's why we need to succeed in this project" stated Izuku "to help those people bring back a part of their life they never thought they could get back. Will this project be tough to achieve? Yes. But if we all work together, I know we can bring back America to hero society. Being a hero isn't just about fighting the villains, but saving people with smile and letting them know that we are here!"

With those final words, 1A including Aizawa were moved by his encouragement, and despite Bakugou never admitting it out loud, even he knew that Deku's speech wasn't all that bad. The Parrs were also impressed. Who would have thought that that same shy little boy would grow up to be a hero that inspires others to want to help those who need it.

"Damn, Midoriya! That has got be the mostly manly speech I've ever heard!" said Kirishima.

"I feel so hyped up, it feels like I've gone through a whole bag of sugar!" Sato grinned.

"Midoriya is absolutely correct." stated Iida "As the next generation of heroes, we must do whatever we can to help our fellow people or in this situation, a whole country full of people".

"Yeah, lets help bring back the Supers in America!" shouted Ochako.

"And give kids like us a chance to become Supers!" shouted Mina.

"After everything we've been through since leaving Japan, this project's will be cake walk" stated Sero.

"LET'S FREAKING GO!" shouted Mineta and Kaminari in excitement which caused the other students to be even more hype up.

"Alright students settle down" said Aizawa "while we all want this project to be a success, like Mrs. Parr said, there will be some obstacles ahead of us, and to be prepared for that, we must first have our meeting with Mr. Deavor to fully go over the project and learn how to deal with any possible setbacks, so you all must face this challenge with everything you got, understand".

"Yes, Sir!" said the students.

Within the next few minutes, the bus finally arrives to DEVTECH, a tall skyscraper building that goes above the clouds and whose company name and log light bright blue on first sets of the building's floors. As 1A and the Parrs exit the bus and head towards the entrance, a young black man exits the building while holding a bag as he went to greet them.

"Hello, Shota Aizawa, hero name Erasure Head?" asked the young man.

"That's me" Aizawa confirmed.

"My name is Raymond IV, I'm Mr. Deavor's personal valet who will guide you to his office on the top floor." The man introduced himself.

"Thank you for assistance." Aizawa replied.

"Oh, before we go inside, I have your security badges for you, your students, and our four extra guests." said Raymond as he handed a bag to Aizawa.

After everyone got their badges, Raymond led them inside DEVTECH and had them take one of the company's bigger elevators to hold their big group. As the elevator ascended to the top floor, 1A and the Parrs were awed by the view of the nightlight city and even more so once they passed over the clouds where they saw of sea of clouds with only a few buildings going over them.

Once at the top floor, Raymond led the group to Mr. Deavor's office, and once he opens the doors, everyone was amazed of what they saw. A massive room with large windows overlooking the city, a rectangle dining table with chairs that are made of metal, multiple circle chandelier hanging above the table, and an indoor chimney in the center of the room that's part of spiral staircase with the steps made of glass. Before anyone can say anything, they heard the voice Mr. Winston Deavor.

"I LOVE SUPERHEROES!" shouted Winston in excitement as he walked down the stairs "The powers, the costumes, the mythic struggles. Winston Deavor, you can call me Win, genuine please meet all of you, Eraserhead, it's great to finally meet you in person, I hope you and your students had a great flight to the US." as he bowed his head to Aizawa followed by a handshake.

As Aizawa shook Winston's hand he said "It was, until our plane was hijacked by villains to a deserted island, where we then had to fight our way out of said island, only to arrive to a city that we then had to save from a giant robot and a High End Nomu."

Winston winced at Aizawa's long statement. "Yeah, real sorry that you all had to go through that. When you didn't arrive at our appointment time at the airport I thought your plane might have been delayed somewhere else for maintenance issues. Imagine my surprise when I saw the news of what happened in Metroville."

"Sometimes in hero work, things don't always goes exactly as you plan, which is why it's important to adapt to the unexpected in order to come out of it alive." Aizawa advised.

"Now that's the word of a Pro Hero that's seen it all." complimented Winston.

Iida walked towards Winston, bowed his head and spoke "Mr. Deavor, as class representation of 1A let me be the first to say we are honoured that both you and Principle Nezu chose us to help try and bring back America to hero society."

"Oh please, I should be the one honor. After seeing how you kids protected the citizens of Metroville and defeated those two threats, I say Nezu has definitely brought me the best first year students that UA has to offer" stated Winston.

1A were all feeling happy that Winston already thinks so highly of them.

"Thank you for the compliment, Mr. Deavor" said Iida "Know, let me introduce myself and the rest of my fellow classmate" but before Iida could say his name, Winston stop him to sticking out his hand.

"No need, I've already memorized all your names, hero names, and quirks thanks the to the manifesto that Nezu and Aizawa gave me" said Winston as he starts to point and identify the students "Yuga Aoyama, Hero name: Can't Stop Twinkling, Quirk: Navel Laser; Mina Ashido, Hero name: Pinky, Quirk: Acid; Tsuyu Asui, Hero name: Froppy, Quirk: Frog; Tenya Iida, Hero name: Ingenium, Quirk: Engine; Ochaco Uraraka, Hero name: Uravity, Quirk: Zero Gravity; Mashirao Ojiro, Hero name: Tailman, Quirk: Tail; Denki Kaminari, Hero name: Chargebolt, Quirk: Electification; Eijiro Kirishima, Hero name: Red Riot, Quirk: Hardening; Koji Koda, Hero name: Anima, Quirk: Anivoice; Rikido Sato, Hero name: Sugarman, Quirk: Sugar Rush; Mezo Shoji, Hero name: Tentacole, Quirk: Dupli-Arms; Kyoka Jiro, Hero name: Earphone Jack, Quirk: Earphone Jack; Hanta Sero, Hero name: Cellophane, Quirk: Tap; Fumikage Tokoyami, Hero name: Tsukuyomi, Quirk: Dark Shadow; Shoto Todoroki, Hero name: Shoto Quirk: Half-Cold Half-Hot; Toru Hagakure, Hero name: Invisible Girl, Quirk: Invisibility, Katsuki Bakugo, Hero name: work in progress , Quirk: Explosion; Izuku Midoriya, Hero name: Deku, Quirk: Strength; Minoru Mineta, Hero name: Grape Juice, Quirk: Pop Off; and Momo Yaoyorozu, Hero name: Creati , Quirk: Creation."

1A and the Parrs were amazed of Winston's incredible memory.

"Impressive, you even called us out in the order of our class seat numbers." said Momo.

"Someone has done their intensive research." stated Shoto.

"I make it my business to know who I'm working with, plus I'm a real big fan when it comes to all things heroes." said Winston.

"Yeah, if you're such a big hero nerd, why the hell did you say my hero name is still a work progress when I've chosen 'Great Explosion Murder God'?". Bakugou said in agitation.

"I'm sorry, but your principle and teacher didn't list your hero name in the manifesto they send me" Winston clarify.

"Huh?! What the hell, teach?!" Bakugou questioned Aizawa.

"Until you can come up with a hero name that Midnight approves of, your hero name will still be under a work in progress." stated Aizawa which made Bakugou grumble.

"If it's any constellation you're not the only young hero without a hero name." said Winston as he set his sights on Violet and Dash. "I don't recall these two in the manifesto."

"Oh they're not students of UA, they're our kids including our baby son." Helen clarified

pointing to herself and Bob while holding a sleeping Jack-Jack.

"Still they fought just as hard as all of us during this amazing adventure." said Mina as slimgs an arm around Violet's shoulder.

"They may not go to our school, but we already see them as members of our team." stated Kirishima as he pats Dash on the head.

Mina's and Kirishima's compliments made Violet and Dash even happier to have befriended 1A.

"Well, with those comments and from what I saw on the news, these two definitely have what it takes to be the next generation of heroes." said Winston "But it's really not hard to imagine seeing who their parents are." he walks towards Helen and shakes her hand "Elastigirl."

"Nice to meet you." Helen replied.

Winston then turned to Bob. "Mr. Incredible".

"Hello" Bob responded and before he could say anything else, Winston started singing the first half of his theme song.

"~Mr. Incredible, Incredible~" then Bob followed by Izuku joined in on the rest "~Incredible, catching the bad guys, pow, pow, pow!~" the three of them laughed as they finished the theme song.

"I must say, Izuku, I'm surprised anyone in your generation remembers Mr. Incredible's theme song." Winston addressed.

"That's because Deku is also a fan of all things heroic too." Explained Ochako.

"Yeah, ever since I saw that famous debut video of All Might saving all those people when I was a kid." said Izuku.

"Oh, you mean where he climbs out of that explosion carrying twelve people and laughing all the way? I love that one!" said Winston "How about I test your hero knowledge starting with the Supers in America?"

"You're on, Mr. Winston." Izuku said excitedly.

"Before that happens, can we please start with our meeting about the project we came here to achieve?" Requested Aizawa.

"Ah yes, of course." said Winston "But we have to wait for one more person who'll be part of this meeting."

After saying that, a woman burst into the door with holding rolled up documents, bags, while wearing a fur coat and sun hat.

"Sorry, sorry, I know I'm late." said the woman as she handed Raymond her coat and bags before walking towards the group.

"Here's my tardy little sister" Winston smirked.

"I'm already scolding myself so you won't have to Winston." The young woman snipped back.

"Everyone, this is my sister Evelyn." said Winston "Evelyn, meet the hero teacher and his students from UA's class 1A along with the surprise additions of Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl and their kids."

After 1A and the Parrs greeted Evelyn, she was astound by the sheer number of heroes in front of her, particular the variety of appearances amongst the UA students.

"Wow, aren't you kids a colourful bunch." she commented.

"Why thank you, Mademoiselle, us heroes must always thrive to look dashing and tre magnifique!" said Aoyama with his usual flamboyance.

"Spectacular" said Winston. "Alright lets get this meeting started." Winston lead the group over to a huge portrait of bearded man hanging on the wall.

"Most of the world knows mourning Father for being the founder of DEVTECH and his skills for designing and distributing our patented devices. But honestly, if I could describe my Dad in one word it would be: a storyteller. Dad always had a love for telling stories, especially ones about Supers. He may not have had a quirk, but it was heroes that inspired him in everything he did. To never give up and put everything into the things he did in his life including the company and his family."

"Wow. Your old man sounds pretty Plus Ultra." Kirishima praised earning a proud chuckle from Winston.

"Yeah, I guess you could describe him that way. Besides TVs, phones and laptops, Dad would also send his stories out to studios and publishers so that others could enjoy hearing or even seeing them. That lead to him interacting more with Supers which only motivated and inspired him further. He used to call you guys the last line of defence. He was the top supporter of Supers before the time that the programme made them illegal. He donated to superhero causes; raised money for the Dynaguy statue in Avery Park. He was devastated when the Supers of America were forced to go underground. It was as if he'd lost his muse."

"Dad believed that America would become the most dangerous place in the world without its heroes defending it, either from threats from within the country or outside." said Evelyn grimly.

"He didn't know how right he was." Winston continued to tell his father's story with a visible air of grief washing over him. "Because one night, there was a break-in and…he was killed by the robbers."

Winston paused for a moment for even though his father's death happened years ago, it was clear he was still heartbroken for the loss, as was his sister who wore a similar pained expression. 1A and the Parrs looked at Winston with looks of sympathy.

"You have our condolences." said Aizawa solemnly.

"It must have been a hard time for you and your family." Added Helen.

"Especially for our mother." Evelyn frowned deeply "A few months after our father's death, she died too. At least it happened peacefully in her sleep. Honestly though, we always believed it was a broken heart."

"The point is, after losing dad the way we did, I didn't want anyone else in America to suffer the same pain and loss that we did." said Winston as he led the group to the chimney "So after me and Evelyn took over the company, a task that nobody thought we could handle, and turned it into one of the world's best telecommunication companies, we used DEVTECH's extra profits to fund a petition to convince the US government to make hero work legal again and bring back the country to hero society. Unfortunately, the government refused my petition even with the US president voicing his support."

"But despite my failure, I still wanted to right this country's major wrong, which is where you students and our four extra Supers come into play" said Winston as he gestured them towards a room inside the spiral staircase column.

In the room, the Parrs sat on a couch while 1A took some lounge chairs. Once everyone was seated, the room was closed off and the floor rotated towards a large projector screen.

"When Principle Nezu first contacted me, he said that while my petition had some good points it was missing one important element: an example" said Winston.

"An example?" Bob repeated.

"Yes. Rather than just talk about the benefits that heroes can bring back to America like I did before, we need to show them through example." said Winston then points to 1A "and Principle Nezu has convinced me that you kids are just the examples that this country needs".

Winston turns on the projector and it shows clips and images of everything that 1A has achieved since the beginning of their school year. These included the attack on the USJ; various shots of the students on their internships; and the raid against Overhaul.

"Despite being all first years in UA, you've all done things that no past first years have done in your school's history. You fought and survived your first encounter with the League of Villains during the USJ incident; saved the people of I-island after villains took over it; fought the League of Villains again when they infiltrated your summer training camp, raided the Shie Hassaikai to save that little girl; performed a speculator concert at your School Festival, and of course your latest achievement, saving Metroville from a giant hero killing robot and a High End Nomu." Winston listed off 1A's achievements, his voice growing more ecstatic with each one.

"Wow, Zuku, I knew you and your friends were amazing, but after see this, you guys are practically Pro Heroes already." praised Dash as he stared in awe at a photo of Izuku striking Overhaul while carrying Eri on his back.

"Aw, thanks Dash" said Izuku as he rubbed the back on head modestly, "but we still have a long way to go before we're Pros."

"Plus, to clarify, not everyone was involved in the I-island takeover or the Shie Hassaikai raid, ribbit." Croaked Tsu.

"It still pisses me off that Deku and you other extras got to take down a supervillain yakuza while I was stuck in a damn remedial course playing daycare with a bunch of little rugrats." Bakugo said irritably.

"I had to take the remedial course too." Shoto noted.

"Nobody asked you, icy-hot!" Bakugo retorted.

"Ahem, Mr. Deavor please continue." said Aizawa promptly.

"Right. Overall, once Americans see what a class of talented experienced students from one of the best hero schools in the world can do for them, they would be more open to wanting the same thing from heroes in their country again and letting the younger generation here have the same opportunities as you." Winston explained.

"Also the videos from your own hero work during this project will further convince the people."

Jiro raised her hand and asked "You want us to record our hero work with our phones or something?"

"Not with your phones; with body cameras" clarified Evelyn who after pressing a button on a remote, the projector showed 25 different screens looking at Winston from different angles as they repeated Winston's last statement and Jiro's question. The students looked down in surprise as they realised their security badges had been outfitted with said cameras.

"We'll embed tiny cameras like those in your badges into your super suits." Evleyn explained as the students were trying to find the cameras whilst the screens showed their faces in the process.

"Amazing, it's way smaller than any camera that I've ever made." said Momo in astonishment.

"I'm sure Hatsume would like to study this kind of tech." Izuku muttered.

"Not to mention the picture is outstanding." Helen noted.

"Thanks, designed 'em myself" Evleyn grinned.

"With our resources, lobbyists, worldwide connections, insurance." said Winston

"Insurance is key" Bob agreed.

"Naturally, and most importantly, with the students of UA, we can make Supers in America legal again and reunite the country with the United Nations of Heroes!" said Winston as the projector ended with a still image of 1A in various action poses with both the American flag and UA flag waving in the background.

Everyone clapped their hands at the presentation and in excitement for the great change they're about make in both America's and the world's history.

"Although, this project won't solely rest on 1A's shoulders alone. I plan to bring in some adult Supers from here to help as well. I'm still in talks with Rick who's trying to get clearance for them, but once I get the OK, I'll bring them to meet you guys personally." Winston elaborated.

"I wonder what other Supers we'll get the chance to work with?" Sero wondered.

"If we get to work with Frozone again, maybe he can help you improve your ice quirk, Todoroki." Oijiro suggested.

"Hm, I actually wouldn't mind learning under him." Shoto agreed.

"Of course, we already have four Supers on our side" said Winston gesturing to the Parrs before he spoke to Bob

"Since Aizawa already told you and your family about the project before this meeting, you're more than welcome to join. Plus having America's former number one hero will show the legitimacy of what we're trying to do. So what do you say, Mr. Incredible?"

As soon as Winston gave Bob the offer, he was ready to accept but then paused for a moment. Remembering how his quick decision to wanting to be a hero again led to him falling for Syndrome's trap and almost getting his family killed, he needed to think carefully about making any further decisions regarding hero work. So before he said anything to the offer, he first turned to his family.

"Well everyone, do you wanna get in on this?" asked Bob.

"Are you kidding, Dad?!" Replied Dash. "A chance to keep working with these guys; teaming up with other Supers; and going on more butt kicking adventures like our last best family vacation ever?! Darn right I want in on this thing!"

Bob chuckled at his son's enthusiasm, ruffling his hair, before looking at his daughter "Violet?"

The raven-haired teen thought carefully, looking back on everything she'd recently been through, and even further back than that.

"Ever since that time I protected Zuku all those years ago, a part of me dreamt that I could be Super like you and Mom. If this project can make that dream come true, then I want to help make it happen. Plus, this means that I can spend more time with Zuku and my new friends."

Hearing that brought a smile to Bob's face along with Izuku and the rest of 1A.

"Helen?" Bob asked his wife.

"After the US government made Supers illegal, I was content on being an average citizen, so long as I was with you and the kids" said Helen "But I'm not gotta lie; being back out there again, wearing the suit, stopping the villains. It felt amazing. If I feel this way than the same thing's probably happening to the Supers who were forced to retire, not mention all the young quirk users who wanted to be Supers like Violet and Dash."

"So, what do you say?" asked Evelyn.

"What do I say?" Helen repeated. "I say… yeah. Looks like Elastigirl's coming out of retirement."

Before everyone could let out a cheer, Helen shushed everyone to not wake up Jack-Jack who was still sleeping so they all cheered quietly instead.

"Well, Winston, looks like you've got our support." said Bob as he shook Winston's hand.

"Happy to have you on board." Winston grinned proudly.

"Great, so let's get this thing going. Where will our temp agency be and what's my first assignment?" Bob asked excitedly, rubbing his hands together in anticipation.

Winston chuckled "Now settle down there, Mr. Incredible, I was getting to that."

Evelyn turned the projector back on where it showed a map of the city and on the lower south harbour, the name of a bridge that connected the city to an island.

"Across the Jar Jar Bridge, lies an island called Nabu." said Winston as the projector showed multiple images of the island. "It's mostly farmland with a modern suburban setting mixed into it and they provide the city with exclusive fresh produce."

"Back when Supers were illegal, the island did have one hero protecting it." Evelyn elaborated further, "But after the ban, he retired and has been living peacefully with his family there."

"I contacted the Super and asked if we can set up our temp hero agency in his old one and he agreed." said Winston "After weeks of renovation, we've transformed a single floor building to a two floor plus attic agency." the projector showed a 3D model of the building along with images of the interior which impressed everyone.

"The first floor has all of DEVTECH's latest computers, software, and telecommuting devices to make it easier to manage the work you kids will do. The second floor will be your living quarters, and the attic will contain your super suits and other extra materials." Evelyn explained the layout.

"We also built housing for the heroes who'll join us so that they can enjoy their privacy during their off hours and I guarantee you're going to love where you'll be stating." said Winston looking at both Aizawa and the Parrs.

"At least I'll have some peace and quiet when I'm not supervising my students." Aizawa said with an undertone of relief.

Winston then said to Bob, "As for hero work, you won't be doing any of that, at least not yet anyway." which surprised the old super, "Remember, in order for America to accept Supers again, the project will ease them back into it by having the kids providing the citizens of Nabu humanitarian services using their quirks."

"Which I still think blows by the way." Katsuki grumbled under his breath.

"Bakugo." Aizawa warned him with a flash of his eyes as Winston continued.

"Also, while other Supers like you and your family will be joining the project, it will be class 1A who will be leading it by assigning everyone who gets to do what on the island."

Bob looks at 1A with a concern look on his face and said "Wait, you're putting the kids in charge instead of someone like me?"

1A looked at Bob with a surprised faces for what he said, other's felt a little offended that he didn't seem to fully believe they could handle the project by themselves.

"Ahem." Helen cleared her throat as Bob looked to giving him a discerning face along with Violet and Dash.

"N-Not to say they're not capable of handling things, far from it." Bob attempted to backpedal his unintentional insult, as he began to stammer "I-It's just they're still… y'know…growing and I'm…. y'know…"

"With great respect, I'm sure ther're plenty of Mr. Incredible fans out there who would love to see you make a comeback, especially after the Battle of Metroville." said Winston understandingly. "But, Evelyn did do a public analysis algorithm that states people would respond more to class 1A what with their unique quirks and recent achievements they've made in less than a year rather than your quirk and last achievements before the two programs made hero work illegal fifteen years ago."

"Well, that's not a very fair comparison!" Bob complained. "They're a whole class full of upcoming potential heroes and I'm just one me, and of course their achievements are fresh in the public minds since they can use their quirks back in their home country while I can't here!"

"True, true, but, once people see you working with 1A, like they saw on the news, then your popularity will skyrocket back to how it was in the old days." Winston reassured. "But that'll only happen so long as class 1A are the figure heads of this part of the project."

While Bob has no issues working with 1A, the thought of not leading others like he did back when he was America's number one hero, made him feel the realisation of how far his hero status had fallen.

"Uncle Bob." said Izuku as Bob turns to him "Just because you're not leading the charge doesn't mean that we won't need you. As America's number one Super, you have years of knowledge and experience that we can use to complete the project's main goal. But above all else, I would really like to catch up with you, Aunt Helen, Dash, and Violet again, along with getting to know Jack-Jack."

Hearing this brought smiles to the Parrs and 1A. It also reminded Bob the other important aspect of being a hero, working with others with the same goal of helping their fellow man.

"There is one last thing, though Nezu and I are still working out the kinks." Winston spoke up. "This phase of the project will help bring trust back to the American Supers."

He redirected everyone's attention back to the map, pointing at the city connected to Nabu Island.

"Municiberg." Bob and Helen said together, their eyes filling with nostalgia.

"Yup! Figured you two would remember your old stomping grounds." Evelyn smirked.

"You and Mom lived there, Dad?" Dash asked.

"So did your Uncle Lucius." Helen replied. "And for a while your Uncle Toshi too. We all worked together in defending the city once upon a time."

"All Might worked in that city?" Katsuki stared, his inner fanboy having woken up at the mention of the old Symbol of Peace.

"That's right." Winston confirmed. "Nezu and I have been in contact with the mayor of Municiberg about the project. Nabu Island is technically under his jurisdiction; consider it the 'Hawaii' of Municiberg if y'know what I mean." He joked.

"But the mayor's agreed to the project on two conditions and in return he's gonna look the other way while you lot fight crime and change the public's perception of supers."

"What are the conditions?" Tenya enquired.

"Well the first one is the whole Nabu affair." Evelyn answered. "If you kids can win over the islanders good graces they can put in a good word with the mayor which will then allow you to start fighting crime in the big city as well."

"Now that's more like it!" Bakugo grinned.

"And the second condition?" Shoto asked, curiouser.

"This part's for the grownups." Winston replied before he brought up some images of several newspapers, each one showing pictures of a strange symbol: an eye containing a black and white optical illusion pattern spray painted on several locations.

"Whoa~! That eye's making my skin crawl. Anyone else feeling dizzy looking at that?" Mina said in a daze. The other heroes also felt as though the painted eye was drawing them all into its spiralled sclera.

"I'm not surprised." Winston said grimly as he quickly changed the image to another photo of an out-of-focus figure standing in front of a smashed shop window. No one could make out a face; the only visible feature was a pair of large lamp-like eyes embedded in the silhouette.

"Ladies and Gentlemen: this, is the Screenslaver." Winston introduced the mysterious rogue. "Some of you might be familiar with them."

Bob thought for a moment before he remembered the day he got fired. "Yeah, I saw a paper mentioning that guy but I never looked into it. Are they a villain?"

"The first Supervillain to surface since the quirk ban was implemented." Evelyn spoke up. "It's only recently they've been making their name known but the mayor believes they've been active longer than that."

"How does he figure?" Bob asked.

"Multiple tech shops in the city have been attacked over the past few months, including our own. Ransacked, looted, even burned down." Winston explained. "At first we thought the incidents were unconnected; just standard thieves smashing and grabbing or arsonists. But then citizens started posting pictures of that strange symbol which the police then discovered at each of the raided stores. Additionally there have been multiple reports of civilians experiencing moments of temporary amnesia or narcolepsy also near the attacked areas."

"Whoever this Screenslaver is, they seem to posses some form of hypnosis quirk and they also have a major hatred for anything that comes with a screen attached." Evelyn glared. "TVs, phones, laptops, smartwatches, you name it."

"An anti-tech hypno villain, huh?" Helen murmured as she stared at the blurred photo of the unknown ne'er-do-well.

"This is the second condition." Winston backtracked. "While the kids handle things on Nabu and eventually the city, the mayor wants one of the Pros to find and stop Screenslaver. We just haven't got the full green light yet on launching that part of the project, but we're nearly there."

"Anyway, now that everything's been said, how's about y'all rest up in the hotel rooms we've got here for the night? Tomorrow morning, Evelyn and I will take you to your new hero temp agency and housing."

With the meeting adjourned, the party of exhausted heroes took their pick from the many suites available in the building for a well earned night's sleep.

(Insert Montage Song – "You Can Become a Hero")

The following morning, Winston and Evelyn, while riding in their company limo, lead the bus carrying 1A and the Parrs to Nabu island. When crossing the Jar Jar Bridge, the 1A and the Parrs were amazed by the scale and design of the bridge, almost as if it came from an underwater civilisation. Once they arrived on the island, the heroes took the scenic route towards their temp hero agency so they could take some time to breathe in the exotic atmosphere.

Some of the island natives who saw the limo and bus knew it was the heroes that Nabu's former Super informed them would be coming soon while others who didn't know were curious about their new arrivals. None more-so than a pair of a young kids, an older sister and her little brother who saw them from atop a playground on a hill.

As soon as they arrived at the temp agency, 1A and the Parrs were amazed of how the building looked from the outside and once inside their amazement grew even further. The first floor felt like the command centre of a Pro Hero Agency with all the high tech that Evelyn said was at 1A's disposal. The second floor where the students would be sleeping had 20 luxurious rooms with comfortable beds, a Tv screen, direct phone lines, fancy drawers, and their own fully equipped bathrooms.

"It's like I'm in a five star hotel in Hawaii!" Ochako swooned as she fell backwards from the luxurious sights in a comical faint.

The attic had lockers similar to the ones at UA where 1A could store their hero suits as well as some extra space for other items. With the students settling into the temp agency, Winston and Evelyn escorted Aizawa and the Parrs to the housing that they'd be living in. When they arrived at the first house that the latter would be living in, they were just as amazed as 1A had been.

Turns out the house was based on one of Winston's many houses, a two-story home with a huge glass window with a view of the huge backyard and pool. The house also comes with a remote that allows them to control practically every aspect of the house, luckily Evelyn explains how it works to prevent any technical accidents. With the Parrs also settling in, Aizawa was taken to his own fancy house which isn't much of the erasure hero's style, but even he admits it's a nice change of pace. As soon as Aizawa arrived in his housing and sat on a couch, he was able to finally relax after everything he's been through since leaving Japan.

A few hours had passed since arriving at Nabu island, 1A had settled into their new agency, while the Parrs and Aizawa were relaxing in their housing and Winston and Evelyn had returned to DEVTECH. At the moment, Iida had gathered his classmates in the command centre to discuss how best to introduce themselves to the locals and what services they could provide them.

"All right, class. Despite a minor setback, we're finally set up and can get this project underway to to make hero work legal again for the people of America." said Iida

"I wouldn't call being hunted and attacked by villains a 'minor setback', but considering how often it's happened to us, it might as well be at this point." said Jiro

"Fortunately, we don't have to worry about fighting any villains on this island." Momo reassured.

Bakugou, who was still rather miffed about the lack of action, scoffed.

"Come on, man, it won't be all bad." Kirishima tried to encourage his friend.

"He's right, dude." Kaminari agreed. "By now, everyone would have seen the news of us saving Metroville, and once the people of this islands know that it's us who'll be helping them, we'll be praised as the most awesome heroes they've ever seen."

"Well, at least there's that silver lining, I guess." Bakugo muttered.

"Can we please get back to the topic at hand?" said Iida "Now, in order for this project to start off successfully, we must first introduce ourselves as capable heroes who can handle whatever task we're given."

"From what I've researched about the Super of Nabu, he has a quirk that can repair any damage to machines and buildings by tapping them with any construction tools he holds. His signature one is a golden hammer he got from his late father the day he graduated." Izuku explained.

"With a quirk like that, that Super must have been able to fix any problem on the island." said Shoji.

"Nabu is mostly a peaceful place to live." said Momo "So the island's former Super mainly did civil service work whenever they needed him. So they may come to appreciate us if we grant them the same service."

"But how exactly can we convince the people our quirks are just as capable as a hero who can pretty much fix anything?" asked Sero.

"Oh, I know!" Mina put her hand up, "Why don't we all perform the same music concert that we did at the school festival?"

"Hey yeah, that way, we can show them our quirks and give the people a fun time" said Toru.

"Except we didn't bring any musical instruments" said Shoto.

"Maybe we can ask Mr. Deavor to lend us some?" said Oijiro.

Before anyone else could make another suggestion, they heard the doorbell ring which Sato went to answer it to find Aizawa and Bob were waiting on the other end.

"Mr. Aizawa, Mr. Parr, what a surprise, please come in" Sato greeted them.

"How have you kids been?" asked Bob.

"We're doing great, Uncle Bob" said Izuku "We were just trying to come up with ways to promote ourselves to the island so the people can learn to trust us to help them."

"While I'm glad to see you kids already taking the initiative for the project, I'm afraid it's going to have to wait until the end of the week." said Aizawa which caused 1A to worry.

"Did something happen?" asked Shoto.

"A few minutes ago, Principle Nezu contacted me. He said that he, the UA faculty and some of Japan's Top Pros are coming to Metroville to prepare a service and asked Mr. Incredible if he can host it." Shota explained.

"Which I immediately accepted and we hope that you kids can attend it if you can." Bob spoke up.

"What kind of service are we talking about?" asked Izuku who in the back of his mind already had a pretty good idea what it is.

XXX

Three days later in the Metroville Cemetery, a grand funeral service was taking place for the American Supers and Japan's Pro Mortar who were killed by Syndrome's Ominidroids. The only ones who were attending the service were 1A, The Parrs, Lucius and his wife, the UA Staff, Japan's Top Pros, Edna, Rick, Winston, Evelyn, and the family members and close friends of the fallen heroes. Winston kindly provided 1A and the Parrs black suites/dresses for them to wear to the service.

With no bodies of the dead heroes to recover, there were only metal plaques with the heroes' names and faces on a large Japanese style funeral shrine bellow a stage that had a jumbo screen standing behind it. As the funeral was about to begin, Bob walked onto the stage and towards the podium as everyone else was sitting down ready to hear him speak.

"Being a superhero is never an easy job, from when we started out, to the many villains we fought, to the lives we almost didn't save. I've see many heroes face these challenges and one who often comes to mind is one of my old late friends, Simon Paladino; hero name Gazerbeam."

The screen turned on to show Simon in his civilian attire.

"He was a serious, oddball guy who wasn't naturally engaging. He didn't really understand jokes, how to comfort people and of course there was his quirk." The large crowd listened intently to Bob's speech as he continued.

"His quirk came from his light blue eyes that could see in amazing detail; through many surfaces and, if he focused them right, could burn through solid metal. These unsettling eyes plus his less than ingratiating personality, give us an outcast."

As Bob told the story his mind drifted back to the day Simon met him, Lucius, and Gamma Jack at a diner.

"Although he tried to hide his quirk, some of us heard about them and approached him. We had to convince him to work as a Super. I remember Frozone saying to him 'Look, Laser Eyes, the best chance you've got at fitting in is to do what we do. Turn your weirdness into an asset. Advertise your quirk with a cool name and suit and wear them proudly'."

The memories continued to play out with Simon being fitted for his super suit by Edna.

"I was actually the one who proposed Gazerbeam as his hero name and he didn't like it. Simon wanted something more formal. Viewpoint, he liked and said 'How about 'Viewpoint'." The crowd chuckled at the mention of the name.

"Guess Bakugou wasn't the only hero with bad name idea." Mineta sniggered, the aforementioned angry Pomeranian making a mental note to blow him up later.

"Terrible we told him" Bob continued. "Sounds like a Tv show nobody watches. But he liked the fact that we were interested in him, giving him names and arguing about them. We were part of the Metroville hero agency that wanted him to join and he accepted. All of it; the super suites, the hero name Gazerbeam. He even came to say it with strange pride."

Another memory played out of Bob, Lucius, Gamma Jack, and Simon chasing down a truck that just robbed the Metroville bank. The thieves were seven brothers who called themselves 'The Beagle Boys' due to their canine appearances, lead by their crime boss mother who the public referred to as 'Ma Beagle'. The dog-faced woman herself was driving the getaway truck. During the chase, Simon took a short cut down an alley that put him in front of the truck where he cut it in half with his laser vision allowing his friends to capture The Beagles.

"In time he became one of America's Top Pro Supers and for a while not only was he a great member of our agency but a dear friend to us. When The Quirk Prohibition and Superhero Relocation Program was created which forced American Supers into retirement and preventing any quirk users from using their powers, Simon used his civilian identity to fight for the rights of all American quirk users. But he had trouble adapting to civilian life"

The audience looked on with sad faces as Helen placed a supporting hand on Lucius' who was also holding Honey close as she comforted her husband. Izuku felt his eyes ache with unshed tears as he understood Simon and the other Super's struggle in how similar it had been to his own years as an outcast unable to fit in or find purpose.

"His problem was common with many retired Supers: he got used to being useful…He needed to be useful." The scene flashed back to when Syndrome viewed Simon's fight with a previous model of the Omnidroid that Bob would later fight on his island.

"Sadly, a terrible villain exploited that desire, that weakness, to attract Gazberbeam and other Superheroes. Individually, in secret, and one by one to kill them off."

The flashback later changed to when Simon arrived at the underwater cave after being shot off the waterfall by the robot, where he lasered the secret password 'Kronos' into the wall before later dying from his injuries. The scene later fast forwarded to the point when Bob discovered Simon's skeleton and the secret message.

"I was drawn into it myself, almost became another victim, if it weren't for a clue Gazerbeam left behind heroically in his dying moments. This nightmare was made much worse by the fact that we American Supers were all and are all still in hiding and prohibited from using our quirks despite the rest of the world being free to use them whether as heroes or everyday citizens. Every quirk is like an engine with energy to burn. Engines don't like to be idle they want to be used. If you block energy from driving us forward, the same energy will gladly drive us backward."

Some members of 1A couldn't help thinking about the League of Villains in that moment. Could it be that their 'energy' was blocked from moving forward which lead them down the path of villainy? Izuku and Ochako's minds in particular drifted to thoughts of Shigaraki and Toga.

"As a superhuman society, we must always support what's best in us. If someone wants to help, we should embrace that desire, encourage it, fan it into a flame, and look to the young to be inspired enough to take up the fight." Bob looked into the audience to see his three kids (Violet holding Jack-Jack) who were siting next to 1A who were truly inspired by his words.

"We look to the day when American Supers can rejoin Hero Society and thanks to recent events that day might be coming sooner than we expected." This made some of 1A feel the pressure of completing the project while others felt encouraged that they'll succeed. Bob then started naming the heroes that Syndrome killed with their faces appearing on the screen behind him.

"Now let's take a moment to remember Gazberbeam, Stormicide, Psychwave, Vectress, Everseer, Macroburst, Falange, Blazestone, Downburst, Hypershock, Apogee, Blitzerman, Tradewind, Gamma Jack, Mortar, and all of the other heroes we lost in this tragedy." Bob bowed his head as he gave his final words. "All of the Supers who died, only wanting to help." The audience all bowed their heads with him to honour the fallen heroes.

XXX

After the service, the family members and friends of the dead Supers took their loved ones plaques and placed them in plots that were already paid for by both UA and Rick's government agency. 1A met with Mortar's family which consisted of his wife, son, older sister, and parents where Koda gave them his armband they recovered on the island. Despite that being the only thing left of Mortar, his family was still grateful to have something of his and tearfully thanked 1A for bringing it back to them. Needless to say, some of the young heroes started getting choked up from the family's gratitude, though none could beat Izuku's endless waterfalls of tears.

At one of the plots, Bob and Lucius looked down on the plaques of their former team members, Gazberbeam and Gamma Jack.

"All these years, I thought Gamma Jack was out there making the most of his retirement, while Simon was trying to do his best to help us Supers" said Lucius mournfully.

"I know, Lucius. It's still hard for me to believe that they're gone." Replied Bob.

"This isn't the first time we went to the funeral of a fallen hero, but that doesn't make it any easier." Lucius frowned.

"That's true, but the fact that you and others still came shows how much you care for them." said a familiar voice that Bob and Lucius instantly recognized.

They turned around and saw none other than Japan's former number one and their old friend from abroad Toshinori Yagi aka All Might.

"Toshi?" said Bob and Lucius.

"Hey guys. I'm back." said All Might as he rubbed the back of his head and smiled at them.

"You're really here." said Bob in disbelief

"Sure am Bob, just wish it was under better circumstances." said All Might sadly as he gazed out at the funeral plots.

"Hey Toshi, just seeing you again makes this day less gloomy." Smiled Lucius.

"Thanks, Lucius" All Might replied. "How are things with you and Honey?"

"It's been going great, we've been married for the 12 years now and still going strong." said Lucius "Are you with anyone special?"

"Unfortunately no. Being Japan's number one Pro and the Symbol of Peace made it pretty difficult to try dating." All Might joked grimly. 'Among other things.' he thought knowing full well that anyone he got close to could become a target for All For One.

"Hey don't give up hope just yet, you still have time to find that special someone" Lucius encouraged. "If you like I can give you my black book of my past dates, might I suggest a super-mega-ultra-lighting-babe I once dated before meeting Honey?"

All Might laughed as said "As always Lucius, trying to help others as a hero or their wingman."

"It's what I do Toshi, it's what I do." Lucius smirked.

Bob walked up to All Might and bowed his head down in front of him which confused both All Might and Lucius.

"Toshi, I'm so sorry" said Bob.

"Sorry? What are your sorry for?" asked All Might.

"For not being there when you needed me the most." Bob said with his head still bowed.

"Bob, what the hell are you talking about?" asked Lucius.

"I'm talking about the Kamino Ward incident!" Bob yelled.

Hearing that location made All Might and Lucius realise what Bob meant.

"When we saw you fighting that villain, All For One, on the TV, it hurt me that I couldn't go to Japan and back you up liked how you helped me and the other Supers in America when you were working abroad. Had I been there, we could have defeated All For One quicker. You wouldn't have lost your quirk and been forced to retire like everyone else here in America." said Bob as he started to cry for not helping another friend.

"Bob Parr, please raise your head" All Might implored as he placed his hand on his friend's shoulder.

As Bob raised his head, he saw All Might smiling at him rather than with a disappointed scowl he thought he would have.

"What happened at Kamino was inevitable." All Might insisted. "Ever since I learned of All For One's return, I was certain that the next time we fought, it would end with either him and me dying. Even though that wasn't the case for either of us, I was still able to defeat him by using all the remaining power of my quirk. While I do appreciate your consideration, I wouldn't have accepted you help."

All Might's statement shocked both Bob and Lucius.

"Not that I don't think you would have held me back. It's just that All For One isn't a villain like any you, Lucius or any Super here has faced. He's lived since the first generation of quirk users, stolen power from countless people, and killed any heroes who tried to stop him. Enough to make Syndrome's work look amateur by comparison. The last thing I wanted to happen to you was for your quirk to be stolen or to end up killed leaving Helen a widow and your kids without a father."

Hearing what All For One was capable of, made Bob question if him being in Kamino would have made a difference or not.

"But even though I'm no longer Japan's number one hero, doesn't mean I'm not useful anymore." said All Might "My knowledge and experiences from being a hero has made me a consultant for the police to aid them in missions and a teacher for the hero course students in UA." He jerked his thumb back towards 1A talking amongst themselves to lessen the gloomy mood.

"As I'm sure you two must know, those kids went through a lot since starting at UA, but despite those challenges, they still keep moving forward in the pursuit of becoming the next great generation of heroes." said All Might proudly "And from the looks of it, they're not the only ones."

Bob and Lucius turned to where All Might was looking and saw Dash and Violet approaching 1A to join in their group chat.

"Having gone through their first life threatening hero mission with little training of their quirks and still smiling and laughing with their new friends, shows that they too have what it takes to be heroes." All Might said with certainty.

Seeing his kids having a good time with 1A did bring Bob hope of them having a possible future career as heroes.

"Well it does help that Dash and Violet have amazing top Supers as parents." said Helen as Bob, Lucius, and All Might turned to see her walking towards them while holding Jack-Jack.

"Helen." said All Might happily

"Toshi." Helen replied. "It's so great to see you again, and thank you so much to you and UA for setting up this service."

"Don't mention it, Helen. Those Supers deserved to be buried with full honours." said All Might.

"Well, if you're planning to stay a little longer, I'm sure the kids would love to see their uncle Toshinori again and speaking of kids." said Helen as she showed Jack-Jack to him.

"Is that…?" asked All Might with a growing smile.

"Yep, meet our third child, Jack-Jack." said Helen "You want to hold him?"

"Are you sure?" asked All Might.

"Of course, Toshi, your still part of our family like Izuku." Assured Helen as she handed Jack-Jack to him.

"Um, hello there young Jack-Jack" said All Might nervously afraid that the baby might be scared of his appearance.

As Jack-Jack stared at All Might, he started to laugh and make babble with excitement for finally meeting his uncle.

All Might smiled and chuckled from Jack-Jack's reaction "He likes me, he really likes me".

"Probably knows that his uncle Toshi is the best hero in the world." Beamed Helen

"Unless he has a mind reading quirk that tells him that, that's getting a little farfetched." said All Might.

"Well, considering the mismatched quirks Dash and Violet have, that isn't out of the realm of possibility." said Lucius which caused him, Helen, and All Might to laugh at the statement.

Seeing them all laughing together again reminded Bob of the good times the four of them had in their youths, both as heroes and civilians. He walked up to All Might again and rather then showing a face of sadness, it was that of joy.

"Toshi, you're right about Kamino." said Bob "Whether me being there may or may not made a difference doesn't matter. What matters is that you're alive, you're hear to mourn our fallen friends, and your reunited again with your family."

Seeing Bob back this his cheerful self, warmed All Might's heart.

"Thanks, Bob" he said. "After seeing your kids again and my students, I have to meet up with the UA staff and the Pros soon after."

"Aw man, going back to Japan already?" said Lucius, disappointed.

"Not exactly, Lucius. While Nezu and some of the UA staff members will be going back home, me along with the remaining UA staff will be staying in the US along with some of Japan's Pro's that Endeavor will be leading in order to complete a mission" All Might replied.

"What kind of mission?" asked Helen.

"We have reason to believe that the League of Villains is still in America recuperating in some secret hideout." said All Might

Bob, Helen, and Lucius gasped at the notion that those villains were possibly hiding somewhere in their country.

"During the Metroville news broadcast, eyewitnesses reported seeing Shigaraki claiming that he and the League were the masterminds of the Ominidroid and High Nomu attack. Some also saw them teleport to an apartment rooftop to witness the carnage. While the League does have control over countless Nomus, we all know that the true mastermind who built that hero killing robot and who brought the league to America in the first place was the late Buddy Pines, also known as Syndrome." All Might explained.

Even though it had been over a week since Syndrome's death, it still hurt Bob thinking that the boy who was once his greatest fan grew up to be a hero-killing maniacal villain.

"While I'm sure Syndrome and the League had a mutual partnership in the beginning, somewhere down the line, one was planning to betray other, and Syndrome was first. With his betrayal and his plan quickly backfiring, the League took the opportunity to be seen as America's worst enemies. With the two programs preventing any Supers from using their quirks, the League will use this to come up with a plan seize power and control in America and kill anyone who gets in their way." said All Might with absolute seriousness.

Hearing that brought a cold chill down Bob's, Helen's, and Lucius's spines; especially the married couple. Over the years they'd had their share of facing tough villains, but the League was unlike any of them. The way they viciously attacked their opponents; how monstrous the Nomu's were; and they had no problems killing anyone like how they almost lost Dash to Shigaraki's terrifying quirk.

"So that's why you're staying in America." Lucius summarised. "To capture them."

"Yes." replied All Might. "We won't allow Japan's problems to become America's, especially with the hardship that its heroes have been facing for almost two decades."

"Toshi." said Bob "If you and Japan's Pros are going after the League of Villains, then I-" but All Might stopped him from finishing his sentence.

"I'm sorry Bob, but you can't" said All Might "Rick was only able to convince the US government for allowing Japan's Pros to use their quirks to apprehend the League so long as they keep the damage to minimum."

Hearing that hurt Bob, since he's once again unable to help others and All Might despite being in America personally.

"Besides, you and your family already have a hero mission to complete" said All Might as he handed Jack-Jack to him "To convince your country to lift both the Quirk Prohibition and Superhero Relocation program, so that the Supers of America can be heroes again and more importantly, so that the children of this country can have the chance to be heroes."

Bob looked at his baby son, then back to his two other kids, and is already imagining them all grown-up as heroes as great as him and Helen.

"Plus, should class 1A and your family succeed in the project sooner, then the Supers can help Japan's Pros in bringing down the League of Villains and the two of us can work together just like old times" said All Might as his sticks out his fist in front Bob.

"Yeah, just like old times." said Bob smiling as he fists bumps All Might in the hopes that he can be a hero again and work together again with All Might.

Nighttime had fallen over Nabu island by the time everyone got back and the Parrs were getting ready for dinner. But before they ate, they were waiting for some extra guests to arrive. Soon enough, the doorbell rang and Dash sped to the door opening it up to see Izuku, Ochako, Tenya, Shoto and Tsu. When returning from the funeral, Helen asked Izuku if he and his friends would like to come over dinner. While the present four agreed to come, the other students stayed behind at the agency to either work on plans for their promotional concert or just sleep after such a long day.

The evening between the Parrs, Izuku, and his friends went off perfectly. Ochako, Tenya and Tsu took the time to properly introduce themselves to the Parrs, sharing stories of their motivations for becoming heroes, as well as the many escapades they'd been on both as a group and on their own. Needless to say, the Parrs were impressed with the company Izuku kept. Of course, Dash and Violet were even more hyped up than their parents. Especially when hearing their stories; like how Ochako helped in bringing down a plane full of smugglers; Iida fighting the infamous Hero Killer (though not omitting it was his shame more than his victory); Shoto reminiscing about the I-Island affair (that story in particular really held the Parrs' attention); and when Tsu fought a crew of drug-peddling pirates during her internship.

After dinner, the Parrs took some individual time to spend with the UA students. Dash asked Iida to have race with him from one side of the island all the way home to which Iida happily agreed to, in the hopes of increasing his engines' stamina as well as trying to keep up with Dash. While Helen was doing the dishes, Shoto offered to help her with cleaning up. In time he'd taken to get to know Helen off duty, he'd found a familiar warmth about her that reminded him of the times he spent with his own mother. Tsu meanwhile, volunteered to watch Jack-Jack. She was currently making small hops around the lounge with him on her back, the baby boy was laughing adorably from the game, having grown fond of the frog girl who'd saved him. Ochako meanwhile, wanted to help Violet improve her quirk control, so the two of them started floating the living room furniture with their respective powers, which only added to the fun of Tsu's game as it gave her more creative jumping points. This left Izuku and Bob sitting on the lawn chair in the backyard as they gazed upon the starry night sky.

"Quite the view isn't it?" said Izuku.

"Yeah, you don't see stars like these in the city." Bob agreed.

"I know I've said this many times, but it really is great seeing you and everyone else again Uncle Bob" said Izuku.

"We feel the same way kiddo" said Bob "Ever since we lost both yours and Toshi's contact information, it felt like we lost members of our family. Yet somehow, we were all able to be reunited again. All that's left is for us to see Inko again, and the family will truly be together again".

"I'm sure mom will be thrilled to see you all again, not to mention meeting Jack-Jack for the first time" said Izuku.

"You want to know what makes this reunion crazy?" asked Bob "That it took the actions of a villain to make this even possible."

The mention of Syndrome brought about some old thoughts that had been on Izuku's mind since he fought the man back on the island.

"Uncle Bob, can I ask you something?" Izuku spoke up.

"Anything kiddo" Bob replied.

"It's about…Syndrome."

Bob turned his head towards Izuku. "What about him?" he asked with concern.

"Back on the island, when both me and Uraraka fought him," Izuku began, "He told us the reason why he became a villain and why he was willing to work with the League of Villains."

Izuku turned towards Bob, sat up in the chair, and asked the question that had been nagging in the back of his mind.

"Be honest with me, Uncle Bob" asked Izuku "You and Syndrome...You've met before, haven't you?"

Realizing there was not point in hiding it, Bob sighed.

"He was...my biggest fan. Buddy Pines was his name and for as long as I knew him, despite being quirkless, he wanted nothing more than to be a hero; my sidekick to be exact. But all I saw was a naive kid with delusions of grandeur. So I turned my back on him."

Izuku swallowed a lump in his throat as the memory of a dismissive All Might played over in his head.

"I was a different man back then; more prideful, and small-minded. If I hadn't been so cold and contemptuous to him; given him the proper guidance, he wouldn't have become the villain that he was. A monster hellbent on destroying the very concept of heroes itself. All those supers he murdered, just to build up a weapon strong enough to kill me. I sent him down that path and he was planning to send Jack-Jack down that path too. I wasn't going let Syndrome take my son and raise him to be a hero hating villain like him. I know that for the rest of my life I'm going to carry the regret and guilt of killing Buddy. I was America's number one hero, but when Buddy needed his hero the most...I failed him." said Bob in a remorseful tone.

Izuku could feel a hole growing in the pit of his stomach. With everything Bob was telling him, he found himself relating more and more to Syndrome. Their backgrounds were so similar- except for Izuku not being an inventor- from their idols to their tragic confrontations with them.

So Izuku started to wonder: if All Might hadn't chased him down after the sludge villain affair, would he have lost his way and become a villain just as Buddy became Syndrome? Would he have joined Shigaraki and All For One to get revenge on everyone who looked down on him and hurt him? Including All Might? Would he have gladly aided in destroying the hero world so that they would know his pain?

The very thought made Izuku sick to his stomach with fear.

"However," Bob continued which snapped Izuku out of his fearful thoughts "While I'm to blame for turning Buddy into who he was, Buddy was also to blame for his fate."

Izuku looked at Bob with a curious gaze.

"Instead of using my rejection of him being my sidekick as the fuel for becoming a villain, he could have used it to become a man that I wish was my sidekick. Buddy could have been one of the world's greatest hero support inventors; greater than the people of I-Island. Hell, he might have even used his inventions to become the world's first quirkless hero; an icon to all quirkless people, to show that anyone can be a Super of their own design, and then, be the true hero that he always dreamt of being." Bob believed.

Hearing that made Izuku imagine that possible reality for Buddy and not just him, the image of how villains like the LOV could have been if they'd chosen different paths.

"Sadly, Buddy didn't choose that life." said Bob "He chose to become a true villain so that he would later be seen as a false hero in everyone's eyes through his lies and manipulation. Sometimes in life, all it takes is one day, good or bad, that could determine who we'll become in life. But at the end of the day, it's still our choice to decide what type of person we will be."

Thinking back to when sludge villain almost took control of Katsuki's body, Izuku remembered that it was his choice to run and try to save him despite the fear he was feeling; the other heroes yelling at him to stop running towards the villain; and even when All Might said that he couldn't become a hero without a quirk prior to the incident. So had All Might not come after him after saving him and Bakugo from the sludge villain, perhaps he would have used the moment as encouragement to try to become a hero in his own right. Perhaps he could have been the world's first quirkless hero.

"Uncle Bob" said Izuku as stand up from the chair and stretch out his hand in front of him "Thank you for telling me your history with Buddy, and for what it's worth, you may have been a different hero then, but now, you have become an even better hero, one who recognises their mistakes and will use them to make better choices for those around you."

Seeing Izuku reach out his hand towards him after his encouragement reminded Bob of when All Might stretched out his fist towards him after his encouragement. If Bob did know any better, her could have sworn that Izuku and All Might were somehow connected to one another.

Bob smiled and grab Izuku hand as he got up from the chair "Thanks, kiddo, you always have a way with words; one of the perfect qualities of becoming a hero."

Izuku smiled and giggle at that statement.

"Come on, Izuku, let's go see how strong you really are." said Bob "There's a fully loaded gym in the basement."

"Sure thing, Uncle Bob" said Izuku as the two went inside the house to do their own hero training. As they reached the gym they heard someone behind them.

"Hey. Got room for a couple more, Dad?" They looked back to see Violet and Ochako. "Bet my forcefIeld can take a punch from you, Zuku." She grinned confidently.

"Yeah! And I bet I can make even you light as a feather, Mr Parr!" Ochako wagered. Bob and Izuku glance at each other for a moment before accepting the girls' challenge with smiles.

After a short but intense training session, the Deku-Squad returned to the agency, with its soon-to-be sixth member, Violet, tagging along as she decided to spend more of the evening with her new friends. Though not before she took a quick shower.

As the 1A members socialised amongst themselves, Violet walked into the living area to meet with them. She was dressed in some comfy purple loungewear, though her hair was wrapped up in a towel

"Oh hey, Vi!" Toru perked up at her fellow invisible girl. "How was your first taste of hero training?"

"Midoriya sure knows how to go all out, right, 'cousin'?" Kirishima grinned at the verdanette who rubbed his head sheepishly.

"Yeah, UA clearly takes its training regime seriously." Violet smiled back. "I gotta admit, I never thought I'd feel this fired up about being a meta-human again until I met all of you guys. Even a sourpuss like Katsuki's been a motivation." The aforementioned mad bomber snorted as the others withheld their laughter.

"Still, I'm smart enough to know I have a long road ahead of me." Violet mumbled as she unwrapped the towel from her still somewhat damp hair which fell around her shoulders and face. The 1A students chuckled when they saw how similarly matted and tangled it was to a certain someone.

"What?"

"Oh nothing...Mr Aizawa." Kaminari joked, earning another round of laughs. Violet too noticed why as she fingered a lock of her wet hair before wrapping her towel around her neck and glaring at everyone with her arms folded.

"You will never be a real hero unless you sleep twenty three hours a day and never blink!" She said in a gruff voice, her friends laughing even harder now, a few such as Tenya, Momo and Shoto trying hard to suppress it.

"What is that noise you're making?! Laughter?! I've never heard of it! Work hard, problem children, and maybe someday…" she paused to pick up a couple of cherry tomatoes from a nearby fruit bowl and holding them up to her face, "you will have eyes like mine." By now the whole class was in fits with even Iida and Todoroki unable to resist laughing themselves. Though the comedy was cut short when they noticed the butt of the joke himself standing in the doorway behind Violet.

"Eyes. Get it? I guess tomatoes aren't red enough, huh?" Violet said unaware of the man's presence.

"It's Aizawa." Koda hissed.

"Of course it's Aizawa. Who do you think it is?" The others gestured to her right. As she followed their gaze, she jumped out of her skin when she met the man's frowning face.

"OOH! M-Mr Aizawa!" She spluttered as she hurriedly tossed the tomatoes into her mouth and unwrapped the towel from her neck, fumbling it around her hair again as though it hadn't been removed.

She anxiously stood a few feet away from Aizawa, her hair haphazardly rewrapped, before she awkwardly spat out the stems from the tomatoes. This only caused the others to stifle their laughter again.

"If you have time to be laughing, you have time for a workout." The man growled. "Ten laps of the building- all of you. Twenty for you, Parr. Hope you enjoyed that shower, cause you'll be needing another afterwards."

The students collectively groaned as they started to begrudgingly file out of the room.

"Worth it." Sero muttered under his breath.

Aizawa heard. "Twenty for you as well, Sero. Since you enjoy Parr's comedy routine so much, she can tell you more jokes while you run together."

"Dang it!"

"Sorry, guys," Violet apologised. "That was stupid."

Mina threw her arm around the Parr girl's shoulder. "Aww, don't be sorry, Vi, that was hilarious. Mr Aizawa's always been a grumpy-grump when it comes to comedy. If Ms. Joke saw you just now, she'd take you on as a sidekick."

Violet smiled back as the students passed her by, Shoji offering a throwaway comment as he was the last to leave. "Welcome to the family."

Despite being casual, his words made Violet's heart skip a beat as she stared at the backs of the 1A students. She'd first felt this feeling when she freed everyone on Syndrome's island, but this time the feeling was even stronger. She sniffled a bit as she smiled at the group, her spirit filled with a sense of joy. One that felt different to the one she got from her family. A feeling that told her…

'Is this where I belong?'

"While we're young, Parr." Aizawa growled.

"AGH, yes, Sir!" She yelped before hurrying after the others, unaware that the stoic man had a tiny smile of his own as he watched her leave.

'Nothing but trouble. A 1A student if I ever saw one.'

A few days later, at the Metroville Stadium, Dash was getting ready to participate in the Elementary School City Track Finals. After doing some stretches, he waved to the stadium as his parents, siblings and all of 1A waved back at him. Going down the stairs of the stadium a certain teen boy passed by Violet who was talking with Ochako, Jiro, and Mina.

"I'm just saying, does my school really need to have cheerleaders for track?"

"Of course, Violet, every school needs cheerleaders. They help hype up the team and audience to get the win." said Mina. "Plus dance is the perfect pre game entertainment."

"I don't know, Mina, Violet does make a good point" said Jiro. "I'm not a fan of those short outfits."

Ochako noticed the teen boy behind Violet and spoke up "Eh, Violet, it looks like someone wants to talk to you."

Violet turned around and see her crush, Tony, standing right in front of her.

"Hey" he greeted her.

"Hey" said Violet as Ochako, Jiro, and Mina backed away up the stairs to give the, some privacy while Mina was getting starry-eyed of what she knew was happening.

"You're, uh, Violet, right?" asked Tony.

"That's me." she responded.

"You look different." Tony noticed how she was showing off both her eyes now.

"I feel different, is different okay?" asked Violet.

"Hey, different is …" the boy cleared his throat. "Different is great. W-Would you…"

"Yeah?" said Violet.

"Do-Do you think m-maybe…" Tony stammered not very much unlike Izuku would, who happened to be viewing the interaction himself.

"Is that what I'm like?" He whispered to the others who all immediately nodded.

"Oh yeah." Ochako smirked.

"Totally you." Jiro agreed.

"100%" Mina snickered.

"Like looking in a mirror, bro." Sero grinned.

"Just less green and fluffy." Denki added with a laugh as Tony continued to try and find the words.

"You know… do you" before he could say anything more Violet shushed him by putting her finger on his lips which caused the girls to gasp in excitement.

"I like movies." said Violet "I'll buy the popcorn, okay?"

"Uh, a movie" said Tony "There you go, yeah, so on Friday?"

"Friday" responded Violet as Tony walk out of the stadium to get some refreshments for his friends.

Before Violet can walk back up to the stadium with her family and the rest of 1A, Ochako, Jiro, and Mina blocked her path with a smug look on their face.

"Smooth Violet, real smooth" said Kyoka.

"So, is that the Tony Rydinger that Dash teased about during dinner?" asked Ochako which Violet responded by nodding and blushing.

"EEEEEE, I can't wait to tell the other girls!" said Mina in excitement "As soon as we head back to Nabu, we have got to plan out the perfect date for you and Tony for Friday." she grabbed Violet's arm and ran back with her to the others at their stadium seats.

Suddenly Izuku's pocket began vibrating. He pulled out his phone and smiled widely as he saw it was a video call from Inko.

"Hi, Mom!" He grinned as her smiling face appeared on the screen.

"Izuku! I'm not too late am I?!" She asked hopefully.

"Nope, your timing's perfect. The race is about to start in ten minutes." Izuku turned his phone around so Inko could see the track. "Can you spot Dash?"

"I see him!" Inko beamed as she saw Dash warming up. "Oh look how much he's grown! And running in the finals! I'm so proud of him!"

"And so are we, Inko." Izuku turned his phone again toward Bob who'd spoken, as he, Helen and Violet.

"Hi, Aunt Inko!" Violet waved to her.

"Violet! Look at you, sweetheart! Such a beautiful young woman you've become!" The girl blushed from Inko's compliment before her aunt noticed her baby brother. "And is that Jack-Jack?! Oh, if only I could reach through this phone so I could hug him!"

Helen laughed. "You'll get to hold your little nephew soon enough, I'm sure. It's so wonderful to see you again, Inko. We all wish you were here."

"Me too! Maybe when this big project succeeds, if I'm lucky, UA might invite the parents of the students over to the celebration."

"Now there's some wishful thinking right there." Said Bob. "One can hope though."

Dash and his opponents were set at the starting line. As soon as the gun was fired, the other kids started running at top speed while Dash casually jogged behind knowing that he could beat them easily, so he let them have a head start. His family and 1A started cheering for him, encouraging him to run a little faster. But just when it looked like he was about to take to lead, they shouted at him to pull back a little except for Bakugo who yelled out to him.

"SCREW THOSE EXTRAS AND BEAT THEIR ASSES, SPEEDO! MAKE 'EM EAT YOUR DUST!" with sparks of explosion coming from his hands which freaked out a bald man sitting next to them who was already weirded out with 1A's appearances.

Dash ran a little faster but not so much that he would win the race in a landslide. When the game was over, Dash was able to score second place in which his family and 1A cheered in victory, well everyone except Katsuki.

"He totally could have won! If you don't go all out at sports, you don't get to go at all!"

"That may be the case for us, Bakugou, but here it would be exposing his quirk which would violate the law." Todoroki spoke up. "Besides, showing restraint can be a noble action."

"Oh that's filthy rich coming from you, Icyhot!"

Inko sniffled as she wiped away her many tears of joy from Dash's victory.

"Oh, Izuku. I always hoped our families would reunite someday but I could never have predicted this. Can you imagine what the future holds?"

Izuku, taking his mother's words to heart, did indeed begin to wonder what was to come for him, his friends and the Parrs now. Little did he know just what sort of things, both good and bad, were waiting for them.

While the game was going on, in a nearby house, a young man was sitting in his dimly lit study, watching a report of the attack on Metroville. He kept rewinding the video to various points which included Mr Incredible punching the Omnidroid; Deku kicking the robot's claw through it; and most frequently, shots of Tsukuyomi fighting the High End nomu.

All of a sudden, the door to the man's study burst open and a preteen girl ran in. She had dark red hair in a short ponytail and green eyes, though her most distinct feature was that she had the head of a duck.

"Hey, Dad! There's a letter for you! It's from some guy called Rick Dicker."

"A letter from Rick? After all these years?" The man turned in his chair revealing himself to also have a duck mutant quirk.

"Wasn't he like your old boss or something?" His daughter asked. "What's going on?"

The duck man quickly opened the letter and read its contents, his eyes growing wider at each sentence before they settled and a confident smirk crossed his bill.

"Let's, get, dangerous." He grinned turning his gaze to a mannequin in the study wearing a purple super suit, black and red cape, purple mask and a dark purple, wide-brimmed hat.

Another scene was from a federal prison where Mirage was currently being placed in a cell. After her trial, though she did switch sides in the end, she would still be facing a long prison sentence for aiding Syndrome in his plans.

Despite that however, the woman was at peace with herself for making the right choice as she sat in her cell with a content smile on her face. Her one regret was that Illusion was still at large and worse, now working with that monster, Shigaraki, whether by choice or not. She could only hope he would eventually make the right decision as well sooner or later.

Concurrently, at an offshore military base, a young woman could be seen working in the facility's air hangar. She had a well muscled build, standing at 6 and half feet (almost as tall as Mr Incredible), with elegant facial features and long flowing blonde hair ending in long sweeping tufts.

The woman wiped her brow as she finished working on the jet she was repairing before a solider marched into the hangar.

"Captain Bate!" He saluted her.

"At ease, cadet. What's the sitch?" Captain Bate turned to face her subordinate with a friendly grin, her dog tag revealing her name to be Cathleen Bate of the US Military.

"Urgent news from the General! It's about the attack on Metroville."

Cathleen chewed her lip in frustration. "Tch! Damn those villain scumbags! If it weren't for that bullshit law I could've-!" She breathed heavily through her nose to calm herself. "Please continue, soldier."

"Thank you, Ma'am. The General just received a letter which may be of great interest to you."

"And why's that?"

The soldier smirked. "It's from All Might, Cath."

Cathleen dropped the wrench she was holding when she heard the name.

"Are you serious?" She murmured.

"I think that old dream of yours might not be as dead as you think, Captain." The cadet smiled before he was suddenly plucked off the ground by Cathleen who squeezed him to her frame in a crushing hug making his eyes comically pop.

"You just made my day, bro! Drinks are on me tonight!"

The next shot was in a dark room where an obscured person was tinkering away at a support item of some kind as evidenced by the sparks flying around them. Above their head, wall was covered in a large citywide map with several spots marked with circles and crosses on it, which consisted of tech stores, computer factories and even a couple of cinemas.

The individual set down their welding tool before holding up their invention: a pair of large blue goggles. The person then turned around to reveal themself to be a super villain. They wore a black, full body suit and balaclava with a respirator over the mouth which looked similar to an old microphone and their eyes were covered by another pair of goggles, only rounder and as dark as the rest of their costume. This sinister rogue was none other than The Screenslaver who took the blue goggles towards a random punk, who was gagged and tied to a chair, before forcing the goggles onto his face. The man screamed through his gag for a moment before he stopped struggling and become a still as a statue. Screenslaver then removed the gag before the man spoke.

"What are my orders?" He said robotically as Screenslaver let out a malevolent laugh.

In an undisclosed location, a man with luminescent blue skin was looking over a report of Syndrome's death with a piercing glare. The man was dressed in dark red robes like a priest of some kind and was surrounded by several sapphire like mirrors.

"Damn this diseased world." He cursed. "For a moment it seemed we wouldn't be needed to save it. But alas, with our benefactor taken from us by those wretched heroes, we must not let his death be in vain." The man stood up and walked to a podium overlooking a crowd of robed cultists who proceeded to kneel before him as he raised his hands.

"It is up to us to save our species from its own destruction. To the death of quirks! To the salvation of humanity! Hail Humarise!"

"HAIL HUMARISE!" the cult chanted in unison.

Meanwhile, back in Japan, a middle aged man was sitting in his office reading a newspaper. The first thing to notice about him was his prominently long, pointed nose and obtruding chin, as well as small, dark eyes. He had short, orange-brownish hair, set noticeably far up his forehead, a widow's peak pointing downwards in the center. To the people of the country, he was the head of Detnerat, Rikiya Yotsubashi. But to his closest friends and followers, he was the villain, Re Destro; Grand Commander of the Meta Liberation Army, dedicated to the philosophy that the free usage of Quirks is a basic human right and emphasised liberation over regulation.

For years they'd been growing their ranks from the shadows after convincing the Japanese government they no longer existed, waiting for the right time to overthrow the country. But those plans were obstructed by the arrival of the League of Villains.

As you can imagine, Re Destro wasn't very happy when he read the article about the League's invasion and current occupation in America. It was difficult drawing people into joining his organisation with the League drawing the publics attention away with their temper tantrums of attacks. But now that they were claiming to be behind this Omnidroid affair, they'd be getting even more notoriety.

This was the last straw for Rikiya as several black splotches began to appear on his forehead.

"So…" he spoke to a dark haired man in sunglasses standing next to his chair. "That little manchild thinks he can take over the whole world now, does he? Well now that he's out of the country, it's time for us to strike. And I'm done holding back! Mobilise everyone, Trumpet! Get Skeptik on the line; inform Curious! And send word to Cloud as well! By the time those League brats come back, we'll have the entirety of Japan in the palm of my hand! For Liberation!"

"Yes, Re Destro." Trumpet saluted his leader with his finger answered thumb to his forehead in their signature hand gesture before taking his leave. Re Destro then turned his head to the other man occupying the office.

"And as for you, my friend, I believe it's time for you to make…a career change. You'll be bringing people to my organisation now. The question is…how painful do you want it to be?" Re Destro began to grow in size as the black substance coated his body whilst advancing towards the man who was currently restrained to a chair, covered in bruises and trembling with fear. It was none other than the League of Villains information and recruitment broker, Giran.

Elsewhere, a couple of c rank heroes were investigating a disturbance as they entered into a random deserted building. As they ventured deeper in, they didn't notice a cluster of red ribbons snaking up behind them before the two heroes were suddenly bound by them. They attempted to use their quirks to escape only for one of them to be nailed to the floor by a flurry of red needles which came from a woman with long scarlet hair, while the other was pinned under the foot a giant beast of a man who looked like a blue werewolf with dreadlocks, hands like an eagle's talons and the tail of a crocodile.

"Congratulations, heroes. You found us." A smooth voice spoke as a tall man in an open lilac blazer and dress pants stepped out of a shadowed doorway. He had long white hair and the lower half of his face was obscured by a flat muzzle similar to a gas mask while a corset of black armour covered his chest.

"But your efforts will be for naught! The strong shall inherit this society as they were always meant to rule. It is the will of nature." The man raised his hand as a raging thunderstorm began to surround the building.

"For Liberation, Cloud Nine shall be your executioner!" The MLA leader declared as he unleashed his power upon the helpless heroes.

Returning to America, Edna was currently busying herself overlooking large display of photos of the battle of Metroville and the aftermath as she looked at the 1A members with a very ecstatic grin, her large glasses gleaming with a borderline mad spark of inspiration ready to ignite the inferno of her creativity.

In the final shot, Agent Rick was seen walking through a sliding pair of metal doors into a secure government facility where dozens of engineers could be seen examining a dismantling a large mechanical object.

Which was revealed to be none other than the remains of the Omnidroid! Though it's body was blown wide open and it was missing a few of its tentacles, the broken killing machine was still an intimidating sight as the engineers worked away at its near indestructible frame.

"How's progress?" Rick asked one of the head scientists.

"Thanks to the information provided by Mr Incredible, we're able to use shrapnel from the wreck as cutting tools in order to dismantle the robot. With some luck we should be able figure out what Syndrome made this thing out of. This alloy could revolutionise countless industries if he can crack the formula."

"And the AI?"

"We're not yet sure if it's been preserved in its hardware, but we'll know soon enough once we get inside its mainframe…or what's left of it."

"Good. Just be careful. If that abomination is still somehow alive in there, I don't want it getting out to try and continue its mission. Which is why no one can know about this if we want to keep it contained." Rick closed his eyes regrettably. "Not even the heroes."

"Yes, Sir." The scientist nodded before returning to his work as Rick continued to stare at the robotic husk. Despite being aware of the danger he managed to smile confidently. While the Supers fought their battles, he'd fight this one.

~Do believe I told you so~

Izuku stopped pondering Inko's question as he glanced amongst his friends and family, his gaze ending on Dash who was now standing on a podium proudly holding a silver trophy.

'Whatever the future does hold, I know we'll face it together.'

As the Parrs and 1A left the stadium while congratulating Dash for his trophy, the ground suddenly started to shake violent, and from the other side of the parking lot, the heroes saw people screaming and running as cars started flipping over due to a giant drill machine bursting out of the ground. It was as big as the Omnidroid and took up the entirety of the lot. As the titanic digging machine came to a stop, the hatch on top opened and a pedestal rose up. Standing on top of it was a short, stout man with large buck teeth like a gopher, wearing a miner's outfit while holding a old time radio style microphone with a pair of mechanical hands.

"Behold, The Underminer!" The villain introduced himself. "I am always beneath you, but nothing is beneath me! I hereby declare war on the surface world! Soon all will tremble before me!"

As Underminer continued his opening monologue, the Parrs and 1A looked at the new threat about to befall the city.

Bob's face showed nothing but determination to stop the super villain, but then he looked to his right and saw Helen, Violet, and Jack-Jack putting on their hero masks. He then glanced up to witness Dash doing the same. Finally, he turned to all the members of 1A activating their quirks as they too were ready to face the threat head-on.

Then suddenly, everyone heard a bus horn and turned around to see the official Heroes Rising traveling bus that was given to them by Winston. The door opened, Aizawa walked out, pressed a button on the bus's key chain, and the side opened up showing 1A's briefcases containing their hero suits. As the provisional heroes rushed to don their costumes, Bob returned his gaze to the Underminer again before putting on his own mask, and opened his shirt to reveal his super suit beneath it, his symbol emblazoned proudly on his chest.

"Go beyond: Showtime."

My Incredible Academia

The End.. of Part 1.

Here it is, people! The first arc of My Incredible Academia is officially over! Never thought I'd see the day!

Once again, huge shoutout and credit to shadowsoulwave (known as thunderd007 on DeviantArt) as my official co-writer for this story which has been such a huge help. We work on the main structure and scenes together; he builds the bulk of the text and I then edit, trim, add and proofread. Needless to say, we make a great team! Thanks a million, mate!

As you saw in the ending montage, we're gonna be pulling a Ducktales 2017 by working in other Disney characters into the story with their own MHA twist to them! And the timing for the upload couldn't be better with the arrival of Invincible Season 3 which is definitely gonna give me a tonne of new ideas for this crossover.

Thank you again for all your feedback, faves and follows! And stay tuned for the second arc and our version of The Incredibles 2!
