Chapter 534: The Royal Woods Race…
(March 9. Royal Woods Race Track.)
We now see the big race is about to begin and more than 20 stock cars and stocked, locked and ready to start their engines. Among them is Kurt Logann and his pit crew double check the car and make sure that everything is alright and nothing else missing or damaged.
Kurt then smiles when he sees a very familiar group go towards him. The Louds and Lewis'. "Hey guys. Glad you all made it." Leni goes over and she hugs Kurt and this surprises Kurt.
"We wouldn't wanna miss it Kurt" replied Leni. "We're gonna be cheering you on. Though Lana will be cheering for Bobbie Fletcher." They see Lana speaking to Bobbie Fletcher and checking her ride if it has any issues the crew may have missed. Then Kurt's manager, Janette Wilder shows up.
"The whole event is looking amazing and a lot of folks have showed up to see this. Gotta thank FutureTech for making this whole thing possible. The new surveillance systems are working well and making sure they track down any slight details should something go down. Even by the pits too."
"That's gonna help a lot guys." Bobbie Fletcher goes towards them. "Because the one thing we veteran drivers know is that sometimes things can happen and we gotta be ready for what comes next." She then looks towards Kurt. "Good luck on the track Logann."
Kurt Logan nods. "Thanks and I hope you have been doing as much practice as I have."
We then see Kurt Logann and Bobbie Fletcher show this competitive look and they smirk. "See you on the finish line later." The others can already tell that this is going to be something epic as these two will gun for first place.
"Both of you pathetic idiots are not going to win this." They then see who said that and to Janette Wilder she is annoyed. The man who said it is the other racer named Donald J. Korridor. "This race is my race and all of you are nothing more than sprinkles of dust behind my tires."
Bobbie Fletcher scoffs. "You say that every time and yet you always end up with third or fourth place. Also your way too arrogant and a total disrespectful nimrod to everyone who's around this race." This angers Donald J. Korridor and he walks away from them.
But this man is giving off some bad vibes and Lincoln, Luna and Michelle can feel that something is bound to happen. They then hear the announcement.
"All drivers to yourself starting points. The race will begin shortly."
The Lewis' and Loud's head to where the pits are. Bobbie Fletcher, Kurt Logann and Janette Wilder allowed them permission to be there and watch the race from the pits. But nobody notices that Donald J. Korridor has a wrench.
'I am getting sick and tired of losing to those two, especially that woman! This time, I will win and they will all lose!' he sneaks around the racecar of Bobbie Fletcher and he does something in the back. He thinks he's gone unnoticed but he doesn't even know a Burst Drone spots this.
(Later.)
The race is in motion and its lap 10, and the final lap for all cars. All the cars are gunning for first place and they have finished changing their tires and getting more gas at their respective pits and crews. At the pits the Loud's and Lewis' cheer. But then they see Lana cheering louder for Bobbie Fletcher and Leni cheering for Kurt Logann.
Both wearing shirts representing the other racer and this have the others confused, and they're not even wearing clothing to represent the other race car driver. Lynn Sr. looks to Rita and asks. "Who are we cheering for again?"
Instead Lynn Jr. answers. "I don't even know if we should side with Leni or Lana. This is almost as awkward as cheering for which awesome superstar."
Lincoln then asks. "Which do you mean? Cheer for Seth Rollins or cheer for Randy Orton?" they continue to watch the race in motion and they see Kurt Logann trying to overtake the lead from Bobbie Fletcher. But Bobbie Fletcher remains in the lead and makes sure she doesn't get out matched by those behind her.
Kurt Logann almost gets the chance but Bobbie Fletcher blocks him. Then Kurt manages to pass by her. But then Bobbie Fletcher overtakes Kurt and she's back in the lead.
Janette Wilder then feels something off. "Something doesn't feel right about this."
Amanda snaps some photos and she asks. "What do you mean?"
Just then the right rear tire from Bobbie Fletcher's ride comes loose and rolls off and is in front of her. Bobbie tries to regain control and the tire hits the front of her car and they watch as Bobbie Fletcher spins out of control. The tire does land, onto the area of the pits and hits some pit crew members from Donald J. Korridor.
Bobbie Fletcher loses control and her car almost hits Kurt Logann but he drives out of the way and they see Bobbie Fletcher hit the side of the wall and then rolls around and is no upside down. Kurt Logann notices this and he hits the brakes. He then drives back to the crash scene and other racecars stop and notice this.
They all know one thing…. Bobbie Fletcher has never had a crash before. Also she's always in steady speed and with her ride prepared and ready to race.
One racecar drives by at full speed and Donald J. Korridor is the winner as he goes through the finish line but the man doesn't wave the flag and looks at the wreckage. Donald stops his car and cheers at what he did but nobody else is and pit crews race over and help Bobbie Fletcher.
"Bobbie!" Lana races to the wreckage and same with Leni, and the others. Michelle and Janette Wilder contact the surveillance crew and use their tablets to see what the cameras have seen. Amanda Bright and her journalist friends also split up to the crash and what the cameras might have caught.
Kurt Logann manages to remove the car door and with the help from his own pit crew and two other drivers. Some other pit crew teams put out the fire from the back of the wrecked car. Paramedics show up and Bobbie Fletcher is removed from her car and they remove her helmet.
Bobbie Fletcher is checked on and she's unconscious and has some injuries and they take her away. Lana is worried and has some teats and Leni does her best to comfort her little sister and even Lola hugs her twin.
Kurt Logann is confused. "What the heck just happened?!"
But then they hear Donald J. Korridor yelling. "Hey! I won! Everyone cheer for me! I won fair and square! What is everyone so shocked about anyway?!"
"Oh shut the hell up!" yelled Janette Wilder. She then has the tablet and she links it with the arena big screens. "Surveillance footage has found out what causes the crash!" she then sees Lana pull out a jammed wrench in the back of Bobbie Fletcher's car.
Lana notices the color and brand. "Wait, this was from the pits from Korridor's Area!" everyone is shocked to hear that. "This was on purpose! Someone sabotaged the race to have Bobbie Fletcher killed!" the news crews listen in on this.
Then Janette Wilder shows the footage from one of the Burst Drones somewhere before the race began. Donald J. Korridor sneaks behind the car of Bobbie Fletcher and he unscrews some bolts from the right rear tire and then he jams the wrench into the rear of the car damaging some wiring linked with the rear wheels.
Everyone looks to Donald J. Korridor and the officials of the race are now discussing about this and the man yells. "So what?! That stupid woman deserved it for always winning and beating me when I should be the one winning it all!"
Everyone else yells in anger at what this man said. Janette Wilder then speaks sternly. "I think you're racing career is over you cheating murderous psychopath!"
Then an announcement is made. "Because of the found evidence on who is responsible for this cheating sabotage. Donald J. Korridor is disqualified from the Race! Officials have also agreed to ban this man from racing!"
This surprises everyone and they cheer. News Crews spread this throughout Michigan and Journalists snap some photos and write this down. Donald J. Korridor looks around and sees his plan has failed and then he sees the little girl with the wrench and he is enraged. "You little no good runt!"
The man goes after Lana. But then Kurt Logann punches him away. Followed by the other racers who punch the man and then the pit crew of Korridor tackle and pin him. He sees his crew chief who is pissed off and injured from the tire hit. "We quit."
Then Guards and Police cuff the man and take him away but then Donald J. Korridor yells in anger. "I will make sure you die for ruining everything! You hear me you little freak!"
Lana ignores him and she leaves with the others to see Bobbie Fletcher and her condition at the hospital. Kurt Logann also goes with them but Michelle and Janette stay behind to sort out everything that went down. This is not the race event that they thought would happen.
A/N: Oh sweet mother of mercy! That turned bad real fast, and let's hope Bobbie Fletcher is going to be alright and to hell with that bastard man and his vile cheating schemes! I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
