Chapter 564: Prepared for the soon to come Dodge Ball…

(April 8. Royal Woods Middle School, Royal Woods Michigan.)

We see Lincoln being dropped off at school by Amanda Bright, since Michelle Lewis is busy with work and Luna headed off to school earlier. Amanda then speaks to Lincoln. "Either myself of your mom or sister will come and pick you up, alright kiddo?"

Lincoln smiles and nods. "I understand mom." He then watches her drive off. Lincoln turns around and heads to the school, but then he is tackled and rolls onto the grass by Jordan Rosato.

"Yes! I did it this time! I finally got you off guard!"

Lincoln chuckles hearing this. "Yup. You got me good." The duo then share a small kiss and she helps Lincoln back up and they head into the school. They then meet with their friends.

Lincoln then speaks. "So, everything alright here with you guys? Anything else that went down that we should know about?"

Clyde explains. "We might get a surprise test today. Also, Pizza Fridays is replaced by Lasagna Fridays."

Rusty didn't like the sound of the test. "I just wish we didn't have to go to school for this surprise test. They're always so hard and…"

"And what Mr. Spokes?" they all see Principal Ramirez and she looks stern. Rusty looks nervous and then she speaks. "I will pretend that you did not say that and hope that it doesn't ever happen again."

Principal Ramirez then looks towards Lincoln and Jordan. "and I look forward to seeing you both once again leading the team into victory for when the dodge ball competition begins." She then heads back into her office.

They all look to Rusty and now he feels embarrassed and scared. "I should take note, to never ever speak aloud and keep my mouth shut."

Clyde then asks Lincoln and Jordan. "So, you two about ready for the dodge ball competition?"

"We are so locked and ready for this thing" replied Jordan and she looks pumped and ready. This kinda scares the others.

Lincoln speaks. "But we have only one issue when the whole game begins…" they then look towards Chastity Higgins and she knows what he means.

"Yeah. My aunt, and I know that she might be up to no good and coming up with some plan to win. I just hope that what she does doesn't take things too far."

Jordan then speaks to her. "Hey, don't worry about that. We got it all prepared and ready. Whatever she has planned for the big dodge ball competition will be foiled."

"I hope so" replied Chastity and her friends try to calm her down. Chastity doesn't wanna see anyone get hurt. They then hear the school bell ring and they head off to class. Chastity is hoping that whatever Lincoln and Jordan have planned, will work and ensure her auntie doesn't do anything horrible.

(Royal Woods High School.)

Luna Lewis and Sam Sharp are in the music club room alongside Sully and Mazzy and just tuning their instruments. They have enough time to practice since there is no class for first period. Luna is listing down the songs for this Saturday's gig.

She sees the others are excited to show their new song. Sam then asks. "Are the Dodge Ball King and Queen ready for what's to come?"

Luna smirks and she nods. "Dang right they are. Lincoln and Jordan have their eyes set on winning, and helping the team. But the real concern is the coach, and yet I know that Lincoln has a plan. The plan was also informed to our mom's, and I know for sure that the rival coach won't get away with what she has planned. She's a sore loser, and one horrid woman to even coach a dodge ball team."

Sam is happy to hear this, and then she sees something at the window. "Guys, what the heck is that?" They all look to the window and they see what it is. Some kind of purple monkey with a hand on the tail, and it races away. They all look out the window and spot the animal running to hide in the trees.

"Dudes, did a monkey escape from the zoo?" asked Sully.

"That sure was one weird…. Wait, a sec. Did that monkey have a hand on the tail?" asked Mazzy.

Luna on the other hand is at a loss for words. 'What the heck is going on here? What's with the weird animals going around?'

A/N: Whatever happens, that coach won't succeed with her plans, and what the heck did Luna and the others just see? I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
